I have Catacombs in my collection, and while I like the idea of a chaotic, kinetic brawl, the game’s honestly a bit of a pain to setup.

So I decided to ask: What would I do to redesign it?

Result is a Bizzarro Crokinole Rouguelite I’m calling Life’s Short: Kill a Dragon.

We’ll see where this goes, but I think it could be fun as a super-aggressive push-your-luck game.  Need to get a test to table.

Tummple! looks so neat when it’s in the box. Once you start playing, it gets more exciting and chaotic. All in all this is a fairly straightforward tower building game, with no big surprises. WOO HOO! The kings folks at @slingpuckofficial sent me a Sling Puck board today! This is super fun, addictive, fast, action dexterity game. It reminds me of so many cherished memories playing tabletop hockey games, Rebound (I loved Rebound!), and air hockey. But this one is a fast-paced, exciting race to get all the pucks thru the hole in the middle of the wall separating each players side into your opponents side using only an elastic. We found ourselves holding our breath in concentration! Very fun!
