My Style Inspo

When it comes to Style vs. Fashion, style will always win it for me. Fashion is trends, what's now, what's in for the season. That's cool and all but style embodies individualism. Tell me a story with the wardrobe. Tell me that you got this t-shirt from a flea market in LA and paired it with some trousers you thrifted in New York 5 years ago. That's style in my opinion.

This picture is a collage I curated with some of my favorite people when it comes to style. They are successful in their respective careers, whether it be sports, entertainment, the fashion industry, and etc.

this been on my heart, so i’ma just say it. 

it’s support black women all day over here, but um, the next time Yahya goes on a press run or hits a red carpet, i’ma need him to either go back to DexRob or find a new stylist. because, baby... 

no shade, but i used to be too ready to see what he was gonna have on and the way sis just took that from me. snatched it up! he’s fine as fuck and the right look always accentuates that. i was preparing myself for the fashions when i saw the release date for Ambulance was approaching. i thought baby was fasho about to bless us. don’t get me wrong, he always gonna look bomb. that goes without saying. and i also understand the concept of experimenting with different styles. but some stuff is just a straight up no. in this case, for me, a lot of stuff was.

The new Haute Living NY issue is out with NY Giants receiver @sterlingshepard on the cover. This image is my favorite from the story. When I heard we were going to be shooting him in an at home situation, I thought it would be a cool shot of him playing football inside, but didn’t know if he would be into it. When I pitched him the shot idea of diving onto the couch to catch a ball, he said “Of course! That’s what I spent my whole childhood doing.” He caught the ball on every take and made it look effortless.
