I think my favorite form of narrative catharsis is in 2017 DuckTales and that it's Dewey's own fault that he isn't named turbo.

Because it's weird that Donald wouldn't fulfill his thought to be dead sisters last wishes even if the names are a bit weird. Unless you look back in Season 2's Last Christmas. Donald clearly knew at the end that Dewey was Bluey, the family members from the future that visited him and Della from the future that one time.

Probably soon after Della disappeared I bet, after looking back on how Dewey was so emotional to child Bella, Donald probably guessed that future family member was his own nephew. But the question remains.

Which one?

Donald had three eggs to look over, and he didn't know which one of the three eggs would be the kid from the future. Donald didn't really have much to go on. He was a kid when he met the time traveler and only knew that their name was something -uey.

Not wanting to break the time line, when the triplets were born Donald just gave them all similar sounding name just to be safe. Thus we get Huey, Dewey and Louie.

So Dewey has only himself to blame for not being named turbo

This the closest we have to Modern Disney acknowledging Della on Donald's birthday, and anything reboot related that (outwardly?) acknowledges Dad's existence. 

I highly doubt this means anything outside of the social media admin(s) just putting content together, but wow, that was unexpected...it's also funny, because I think having Donald and Daisy in a different style is something that a lot of people would have wanted to see an updated change to. 😂 I understand they did it to promote the Mickey preschool shows, but...it's still kinda jarring. 😬

DuckTales: Smart, Tough, Sharp and...?

Yes, I know that when DuckTales '17 was planned, Webby (April McDuck) Vanderquack was planned to be the 'fair and square' out of Scrooge McDuck...but now that her identity as a clone and her sisters are out there, what does this make them?

Alternatively, what I believe had a fourth season been planned, while the male triplets have Scrooge's famous qualities (smart, tough and sharp), the female triplets could have different and/or more extreme angles on said qualities:

While Huey has Scrooge's intellect, Webby has his curiosity, which has been known to lead him into dangerous situations.

While Dewey has Scrooge's bravery, May has his seriousness, which has been known to shape the adventure capitalist into a miser.

While Louie has Scrooge's sharpness, June has his ability to manipulate, which has been known to stifle his relationships, for example, the Ghost of Christmas Past.

What does this mean? I don't know, but it makes sense why you see Huey with Webby a lot. Perhaps in S4 we could have gotten Dewey/May and Louie/June Episodes...and even one where they must work together to balance their flaws!

Hello, I'm writing a story where Grandma Duck has everyone in the family at her home, and they asks her to tell them a story. She proceds to tell them a love story about a forbittten romance. At the end of the story she reveals the couple is their family's ancestor. Who out of the existing Ducks do you think I could choose to be the couple? (and what should be the current Ducks reactions when they find out they are their ancestors?)

However, when you mentioned the story of Grandma Duck, I would have mentioned her grandfather Cornelius Coot who was the originator of the Duck family we know today. Humperdink Duck is a descendant of his ancestors Don Dugo and Pintail Duck, while Grandma Duck has a special role, because her father Clinton Coot was the founder of Junior Woodchucks, while her grandfather Cornelius Coot was the founder of Duckburg. Yes, Elvira Coot (Grandma Duck) married Humperdink Duck. In the early 19th century, Cornelius went west to the Calisota area and founded the future town of Duckburg there and married a Native American duck. Although she was never named, some call her Pluckahontas. It can be said that their love has links to Romeo and Juliet and a mixed race love affair can be labeled as such. I guess that's what Grandma Duck meant when she told her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are also pictures of Cornelius and his wife, unfortunately I am not sure who the author is.

And if someone asks me, this is not Don Rosa, but some anonymous artist (artist who signed "M. W.") who did it for Don Rosa.

Yes, it can be said that it was a forbidden love, because they come from different people and Pluckahontas herself was the daughter of a chief of a tribe who did not want her to marry a white duck. However, they eventually got married and created their new family. Again that's just my theory and my guess.

I imagine that Donald and his nephews would be more in favor of being Native Americans after learning about their family tree, which is not surprising, since in the comics Donald's nephews often play Native Americans. They would have more of a spirit for freedom and what Native Americans usually have, a gift for nature and an understanding of animals.

Again, it is not certain if Clinton Coot was actually their son, as it is not known if Pluckahontas married Cornelius officially. Certainly, even if they didn't, they certainly felt for each other. At least in my opinion, but I think that couple would be the answer to your question.

(spoilers) I have a bit of a pitch for you

So we know Darkwing Duck was canceled, 

But I’d like to tell you my stretch on HOW it was canceled, consider it a head canon.

And when I say stretch, I am not kidding.

It all is coming from this scene;

“Stubbed his toe really badly, Movie stars, One little boo-boo and they fall apart.”

The way he says this sounds like it holds a lot more than we know, mostly because he wasn��t around when Drake hurt his foot.

Because I mean look at this:

his stature is more intense then just being a jerk, like his personal history is reflecting.

Now bear with me while I explain the second thing that will back up my head canon:

His right foot has been a major key in this episode, considering the following images

What does the iron land on? Drake’s right foot

Which foot does he point to when he says “One little boo-boo and they fall apart”? His right foot.

What foot does Drake step on during the fight? his right foot.

Now to finish it off with this quote from Launchpad

 “He was an old school actor who did all his own stunts, sure he gotta little banged up in later seasons, but that just made him even more heroic”

What I think happened is he broke his leg during a scene for the next episode, and couldn’t film quick enough before the film producers found their chance to shut him down, which is a major loss for him and all that he was, no wonder some called him a washed up actor.

It really hurts my 90′s heart to think about what he went through, fame can really change a person, and to have the one thing that is going good for you taken away? I see why he became selfish.

I really think if Launchpad met him and the show wasn’t canceled, he probably would be a completely different person.

This may be a stretch but it adds depth into a character we just met, since things now are so different than before.

Needless to say I’m excited to see more, this is my favorite episode by far.

Dewey always likes to tell me that music is about feeling, not theory. That sometimes, your hands will find the right chord before your brain does. That’s how he found me, he says. A mismatched note that somehow sounded better than all the right ones. 

Glow-in-the-dark stars stick to the ceiling and reflect on the polish of Dewey’s acoustic guitar. He’s leaning against his bed’s backboard, jostling the sheets as his knee bounces to the rhythm. With each strum of the strings, Dewey ducks his head in a bob, hair flopping over his forehead. I am struck with the overwhelming desire to rake my hands through his curls, hold back the strands so I can make out the shine of his eyes, the purse of his lips as he hums along. Instead, I sit opposite of him, letting the music move me. I sway back and forth, like a snake to a charmer. My eyes stay locked on him, staring with an intensity that rattles even me to my core. Dewey, feeling the burn of my gaze, glances up. When he catches me, he smiles boyishly, the slope of his grin charmingly lopsided. 

“You know,” he says cheekily. “There’s something kinda magical about playing guitar when the whole world’s asleep. Like the chords sound different. Quieter. More… romantic.”

He waggles his eyebrows suggestively. A laugh bubbles out of me. I feel like I’m floating, gently rocking on a hammock, swaddled in a sea of warmth. Something lodges in my throat, warm and overpowering. I swallow it, only for it to spread across my chest like a wildfire. It burns. It’s gentle. It’s so many things at once. I sit in it for a second, bask in the sensation. It’s sitting by the fire after playing in the snow. It’s applying aloe vera after spending all day in the pool with friends. It’s dancing with Dewey Finn in his kitchen while he croons in your ear. 

“Romantic, huh?” I shoot back. “Is that part of your teaching technique, or are you just trying to flirt with your student?”

"Excuse you, this is professional music instruction. I happen to be a very serious educator." At that, he deliberately picks a sour note. When I snort in response, he perks up. Dewey preens under my positive attention and does it again. Soon, he begins strumming a horrible chord. It grates my ears, but I’m still smiling hard enough that my cheeks hurt. When he settles down, finished with his endearing comedy act, I lean forward. 

“Okay then, Mr. Finn. Teach me something. Impress me.”

If possible, Dewey shines even brighter, fire crackling to life. It blazes in his eyes, flickers in his toothy smile. My heart constricts, a boa tightening its grip around it, clenching hard enough that I’m afraid to be sent into cardiac arrest. Everything feels light, like the wind itself is sweeping me off my feet. I float in space, untethered and free. A balloon in the vast atmosphere. Distantly, Dewey’s voice tugs on my leash. “Yes! Okay, okay, here. Come sit next to me.”

He shifts, scooting one side of the bed, the mattress dipping with his movement. Reaching from behind him, Dewey pulls a small pillow, and places it in the empty spot next to him, as if adorning a throne. He uses his hand to flatten the bedsheet, dusting off any crumbs or debris. I know there’s a silly smile splitting my face, but I can’t bring myself to tamp it down. A part of me wants him to see, to notice how he makes me feel. He steadily meets my eyes, patting the vacant area to encourage me to come and sit by him. Never one to say no to Dewey Finn, I comply, crawling my way towards him. When I’m situated, legs sprawled out in front of me, nestled against his side, he carefully hands me his guitar. It feels like a bigger deal than it is, like he’s letting me hold a part of him. I cradle the instrument in my lap like a newborn baby. 

Dewey still holds onto the guitar. At first, I believe it’s because he’s anxious to part from it, nervous to see how I’ll treat it. But his fingertips stay brushing against mine. And then it clicks, that he’s flirting with me, and playing innocent about it. He seems to notice my revelation, because that gooey look in his eyes transforms into coyness. I playfully wrinkle my nose. “Stop that, and help teach me the pick thing. Properly.”

He softens into something more sincere, and hands me the pick. He adjusts my fingers, touch light, mind focused. There’s something thrilling about not only seeing him in his element, but being a part of it, too. 

“Let it glide. Don’t force it. The guitar wants to sing, not be punched in the face.” 

I snort a laugh. “How deep.”

He nuzzles his head on my shoulder. “Hey, music is like life, babe. Sometimes you just gotta strum and hope it sounds good.”

My tongue pokes out between my lips as I laser in on the guitar. I place my fingers on the fretboard in a position I recall Dewey doing, and hope for the best. Holding the pick the way he taught me, I strike the strings. A chord rings out, but it doesn’t sound exactly right. I try it again, but it sounds the same. Dewey clears his throat.

“That… was technically a G major. Technically. But also maybe a crime against music…?”

I push him off me, using my elbow to force him away. He lets me jab him, laughing all the while. “You’re the worst.”

He looks at me for a second, and I feel vulnerable, like he’s really seeing me. I have the urge to close off, to hide my face in my hands and hope he didn’t catch anything. But instead, I let him. I keep my head trained forward, eyes stuck on the instrument. All of a sudden, he leans in and pecks my cheek.

“Still your favorite teacher, though.”

I hum, pretending to think it over, before turning my head and catching him mid-grin. Our lips meet in a gentle kiss, unrushed and sugary sweet. When I pull back, he looks like he’s about to melt into the floor.

“Eh, the jury’s still up for debate.”

Musical Moments in the SCU

This is in reference to @thegreengoose22 post and @wherearedagrapes response about having more musical moments in the SCU franchise:

While we may be some of the few people who'd like to see some more musical moments in the SCU, I honestly believe it would be amazing to showcase the actor's musical talents in these characters. I can acknowledge the SCU is meant to be an action-comedy with a few dark and intense moments (especially in Sonic 3), and it isn't a musical (unless you include the rock opera moment from the Knuckles series). Regardless, I still think that the SCU can make some musical moments work.

Ben Schwartz:

Ben Schwartz is fantastic at blending both comedy and musical theatre together nicely. He's also a pretty decent rapper. His other animated characters like Dewey from the Duck Tales reboot and even Leonardo from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had their moments to sing. I don't see why Sonic can't have a few moments to sing himself.

I learnt through browsing on Wikipedia and YouTube that Knuckles voice actor has quite a musical career up his belt. He's a surprisingly talented rapper (like Knuckles himself he's also a professional fighter). This is the cleanest rap I could find online for him, but he's got plenty of videos YouTube if you want to check them out yourself:

See 1:40 to 2:08 for Idris Elba's rap (*Warning* - Suggestive moments and dance moves)

I honestly imagine it would be a lot of fun to see Sonic and Knuckles challenge each other to a rap battle. I could hear Knuckles saying to "You will be defeated in the challenge of rap, just as I would defeat you with my fists, Hedgehog!" to which Sonic responds with amusement "Oh, we'll see who wins, Knucklehead." among a number of quick-witted taunts at the echidna's expense.

Sonic, I imagine we'll do a very Sonic style rap with his catchphrase "Gotta Go Fast!" being used quite literally in his pacing and rhythm. Though nobody expects Knuckles to keep up with Sonic or even know how to rap, he surprises everyone including Sonic with his strong and rich rap vocals. He proves to be a tough competitor in rap as well as battle for Sonic. Nonetheless, the blue hedgehog takes the challenge in stride and doesn't give up on one upping his opponent.

Maybe Amy could interrupt the rap battle with her own rap talent, which I'm sure will surprise the two of them.

James Marsden:

James Marsden is certainly no stranger to singing. He's done a number of musical projects both in and outside of making movies.

I can't not mention his work as unofficial Disney Prince, Prince Edward from the Disney movie Enchanted (and also briefly its sequel Disenchanted). He certainly proves he's got Princely vocals, lol.

James Marsden also showed off his Broadway style flair in the movie version of Hairspray where he played Corny Collins.

I also wanted to mention James Marsden's work with a potential casting choice for Amy Rose. Here's James Marsden as Hitch Trailblazer singing with potential Amy voice actress, Kimiko Glenn as Izzy Moonbow. James shows off his singing talent, while Kimiko shows she can balance her musical talent (singing and soft rapping) while also being funny.

I'm personally hopeful that Kimiko Glenn will get the part of Amy. I believe she could do Amy's voice and character justice, plus her previous work with both Ben Scwartz (Ducktales) and James Marsden (My Little Pony: A New Generation) shows she has good chemistry with at least two members of the SCU cast.

I will mention @wherearedagrapes comment that they believe Amy thinks in Broadway style numbers (which I agree with). Kimiko certainly has Broadway experience as shown in her inclusion of the Broadway musical version of Waitress.

Another potential Amy Rose candidate, Anna Kendrik, also has Broadway musical experience, but I'm putting a higher vote for Kimiko as I prefer Anna to continue her role as Queen Poppy in the Trolls franchise and for a totally new actress to play Amy.

Anyway, here below are a list of potential options for musical numbers in the SCU. I'd love to hear your thoughts on them.

So I finished DuckTales (2017), my thoughts:

⚠️ Spoilers ahead ⚠️

- Bradford Buzzard:

His feelings for hating adventure and chaos is valid but he should have told his grandma to fuck off and got therapy instead of trying to destroy it. Also its not his fault that Della took the Spear of Selene even if he told her about it.

You can’t have one thing without the other, there must be chaos if there is stability and vice versa.

- Webbigail Vanderquack and Bentina Beakly (Agent 22):

It was a good twist, but it makes me question where FOWL got Scrooge’s DNA to make Webby and why her exact clones (sisters) aren’t perceived as Scrooges kid like Webby is.

My theory: “The Papyrus of Binding only appears to a direct heir of Scrooge McDuck” I think it mean’s physically and emotionally. If June and May are Webby’s clones that means they are just as much Scrooge’s physical child as Webby is, except they don’t have a relationship with Scrooge. Scrooge even before knowing Webby was his kid thought of her like his Grandniece, like family, making her an heir like the boys.

For how much Beakly talked about how important and strong a family is together when getting the boys to talk to Scrooge again in Season 1, it doesn’t make much sense to have her go in alone without informing the family of what she knows of FOWL from SHUSH.

Goldie O’Gilt:

I love her so much, except in the ImpossiBin episode, there she was okay. At the end of the ImpossiBin episode Goldie calls Scooge assuming he took the fountain of youth when they agreed to keep it for both of them, (she went back to steal it for herself so she says). They made progress in the Youth Fountain episode and having Goldie call him about it being gone kinda defeats the whole purpose of their bonding in that episode. To me it looked like Violet’s parents adopted Lena and I’m all for that. Also love the hinted gay rep with their dads.

Magica De spell:

While it was Scrooge that blocked her spell, it was still her spell that she shot that turned her brother into a raven. Theres no reason or obligation for Scrooge to have caught him and give him to her when they were both terrible people. If anything her brother got a new chance at life as a raven instead.

I wish there was kinda a redemption arc when she was training Lena, if not for Lena a little redemption for Gladstone because I like those two.

Fenton Crackshell (GizmoDuck) and DarkWing Duck:

I like Drake with Fenton regardless if he’s Drake or playing DarkWing but I feel like he needs to accept that GizmoDuck is also a hero. Bro needs to know the difference between hero and vigilante.

Launchpad McQuack:

Giant himbo and I love him so much.

Daisy Duck:

Love her, not much else to say. She had standards, that was clear when we heard what she said while driving away from their second date except she still fell in love and was willing to put up with Donald enough to go rescue him and keep going out. Overall a girl boss <3

Huey, Dewey and Louie:

While Dewey should have come forward earlier about looking for Della I understand his intentions more then Huey did when he found out. Louie was right, its not okay, but in the beginning Dewey was just trying to find if she was alive or not, not where she was. He was sorry because he ‘got caught’, he was genuinely sorry. It’s difficult to want to tell someone you’re finding all this stuff about someone you all seek when none of you know if they’re even alive or not. Dewey didn’t want them to lose hope that Della may be alive even if he found out she might not have. Yes he should have told them but I understand he didn’t want to them to be more hurt that she’s unalive instead of just missing. Also they aren’t even teenagers and communication skills are ass with teenagers what makes you think they’ll be any better as 10 year olds?

Again, their anger is misplaced when they’re mad at Scrooge for building a Spear of Selene.

Scrooge McDuck (sugar daddy?):

I like his character and I feel theres a bit of development through out the show with him and the kids, to be a teacher you need to be able to learn from your students.

While yes, he shouldn’t have built the rocket right there he also didn’t tell Della about it. Not his fault she left. Also the audacity to find out it wasn’t really his fault or the fact he nearly went bankrupt looking for her and they didn’t apologize at all.

Donald Duck (DILF):

Literally the best man in the whole show. He put his family first the whole time even when he should have taken breaks except he stepped up. We know that he had some form of falling out with Scrooge because of Della but even so he stepped up to take the kids and stayed in DuckBurg instead of moving anytime in the 10+ years they lived there. I have a feeling they stayed because he knew deep down that he could somewhat still count on Scrooge if not Beakly. Why else would he have stayed and gone to Beakly to watch the kids, granted he didn’t want to talk to Scrooge, Scrooge still took them in and watched them while Donald was off getting a job.

Donald may not be their bio-dad, but he is no way a fucking Uncle. He raised those boys by himself for 10+ years, through their formative years and until they were old enough to know he wasn’t their bio-dad. He stepped in to be a parent because Della chickened out and chose to go to space even when he told her she shouldn’t so she can be with her kids.

Della Duck (cool-ish weird Aunt):

My opinion has not changed, she still isn’t a mother to me. Della is an estranged aunt that comes by and is the ‘cool aunt’. She willingly, without obligation, without threat, consciously CHOSE to leave her kids. Regardless of if she knew she would get killed or stuck in space, “there were too many variables” -Huey. She had a fight with Donald that specifically told her that it was a giant, dumb fucking idea with kids on the way. The idea that anyone would accept her back as a parent so blindly is so dumb. Yes she’s their egg-layer, but there is no way in hell she is their mother. A MOTHER would never choose to leave their children unless they positively fucking had too (obligation for safety). Whether or not she regrets it holds no power because she still chose to leave for a stupid reason.

Season 1 finale: “Get away from my kids” by Donald Duck will forever hold more power and significance then anytime she ever says it because she gave up parent rights before they were born. No parent would willingly, without valid cause like their safety (not fucking exploring space for funzys) would leave their child.

Over all:

Scrooge and Donald are DILFS and Della can get bent.

For the past few-ish years, I've been doing an art challenge where I focus on posting pieces on designated dates. This year, I wanted to draw each triplet doing something with Launchpad to have ready for the, uh, 15th, but that obvious didn't happen due to something preventing me from being on time...again...😒

But I'm still completing them anyway! ✍🏾😤

Yeah, I know, I colored LP's Quack Pack boots wrong. His pupils might also be too big too. Both sets of hands probably don't match up very well with the other...I tried. ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

But in spite of its flaws, I still really do like this! I could redo or fix these things if I ever decide to do fully digitally. Right now, I gotta keep moving. 🏃🏾‍♀️

Oh man, all day I was thinking about what part of Let’s All Go to the Movies! I wanted to talk about, let’s go with the one you helped write!

I love this exchange and to me it would only work if the characters were speaking proper Spanish which I don’t know. And I just headcanon that both Fenton and Gosalyn are bilingual and just wanted to share that headcanon with everyone

Also I just love to think that whenever Webby hears anyone speaking in a language that she knows how to speak that isn’t English she gets excited and uses the opportunity to speak that language

And in case anyone was wondering what these ducks were saying because you don’t speak Spanish and didn’t bother translating it, here’s the original dialogue in English that tokuvior translated for me:

“Oh fuck me, it’s Ordinary Guy!” Gosalyn exclaimed in disbelief.

Fenton leaned forward and looked over to Gosalyn with a rather disappointed look on his face. “You do know that you’re not the only one here who speaks Spanish, right?”

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?

Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?

TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.

Team Science (Huey)

Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:

Huey's enemy is usually Mark Beaks, a businessman who makes his living off dumb and/or stolen ideas, which is totally against his moral code. If executed better, Dr. Akita could make a better contender.

Dewey's group of allies usually revolves around getting into dangerous situations, definitely not due to the influence of Launchpad or his very own mother, Della. Dewey stories would usually involve these specific protagonists:

Gosalyn Waddlemeyer (an extension of DW)

Dewey's enemy is usually Don Karnage, a deranged air pilot who will go to any lengths to gain vengeance on him. Falcon Graves has also appeared in Dewey stories, a serious contender for his showboating.

Team Scheme (Louie)

Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:

Ottoman Brothers (placeholder because they're always in the background of Louie stories)

Although Louie completely destroyed Glomgold in S2, I'd love to see Rockerduck as his enemy, as the Wild West Swindler has a more interesting way to battle - with his words, instead of his fists.

Webby's group of allies usually revolves around trying to fix the curses laid out from Scrooge's adventures, or his most powerful enemy, Magica De Spell. Webby stories would usually involve these specific characters:

Phantom Blot and Pepper (maybe they're forced to team-up??)

Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!

...and maybe Detective Gokart from the comics (a loser that May could help to become a better person)

Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.

Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.

By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.

Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.

I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

Ducktale day. Split Sword of Swanstantine, advance with all the kids. What team up did like more, Dewey and Webby, or Lena and Hewy or Violet and Louis each of them getting a villain to fight. Louis know in pub of outlaws. Hewy not wanting to unleash his inter Donald. Any theories on the cliff-hanger with Fowl having a feather.

I think I'll have to go with Violet and Louie. I wouldn't have expected to enjoy them together so much going into their segment, but I actually really like their dynamic. Violet dunking her head in the water to scream might just be one of my favorite moments in the entire show. I also liked seeing a bit more of Rockerduck, so that was nice.

Louie learned the hard way that when you cultivate a reputation, sooner or later you'll be expected to live up to it. Luckily for him his actual exploits were much more impressive than the ones he made up.

Funny how of the triplets, Huey was the one to inherit that famous Duck anger, though it actually makes a lot of sense. Louie is too chill and lazy to get that worked up most of the time, while Dewey doesn't really restrain his emotions enough to build up energy and anger like that. Huey, as someone who prides himself on being calm, collected, and logical, has a lot of built up anger, similar to how Donald tends to be fairly mild-mannered until something sets him off.

To be entirely honest, before I even started watching the show I was spoiled on a very major twist for the finale, so I'm pretty sure I know exactly what that feather is going to be used for. Still, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how it actually plays out!
