So apparently neither Dew Nitikorn and Tor Atagorn nor Yoon Phusanu (who had a cameo that was apparently cut) have been paid for their work in For Him the Series (and that's just the people we know about). They've all spoken up about it on their twitter accounts presumably after their NDAs expired.

And on top of that, Tor has come forward about being stalked and harrassed on and off set, to the point where he's now in therapy and unsure whether he'll continue his career in acting:

The company behind For Him (and Unforgotten Night) is Y.Entertainment and yeah, 30min episodes with filler behind-the-scenes content and really bad audio seems to be the least of their problems.

Did I start watching "For Him" because of the spicy GIFs on my dash? Yes

Is the acting good? Not really, I've seen better uni BLs from Thailand.

So why am I still watching it? BECAUSE NAIL AND HIM ARE WILLING TO TALK TO EACH OTHER AND NOT JUST BRUSH OFF THEIR PROBLEMS.

THEY COMMUNICATE.

Look, they are at a restaurant to have a nice meal, Nail sees his ex and is instantly uncomfortable and Him clocks that and asks what's wrong. You know what a regular show would do, Nail would answer " Oh, nothing, it's nothing." But what does Nail do here? He honestly tells Him and Him understands that Nail is still dealing with his past relationship and they leave. Him says it's okay to feel this way and he understands that Nail is still dealing with the shit Jay did to him.

Take another instance from episode 4.

Te is being the usual creepy stalker idiot and tells that Him has done terrible things to Blue. Of course Nail wants to know what's happened so he asks Him without beating around the bush. And Him was honest about why Blue left him. We still don't know all the details but Him says he neglected Blue so Blue left him. He talks about how he needed to get some medical help because of what happened. Do you see how they communicate???! Other shows would have shown Him getting defensive and saying that Nail needn't know these things.

Even after the argument with Jay in the hallway, Him leaves because Nail is clearly upset, they talk over the phone and make up. They don't just leave it for another day and let the bad emotions stew and make each other feel like shit.

This is why I appreciate the show. They communicate. That's the foundation of a good relationship.

Seems like the showrunners of For Him haven't paid any of the actors. Also Tor and Dew have spoken about having difficulties working with the crew. Tor talks about being harassed on set which caused him to have anxiety. It seems like the series didn't have much money to work with and it def shows but also why tf make a series if you know you can't pay your actors????

I just found out this info last week so idk if they're still unpaid as of rn but it seems Y Entertainment is doing some fucked up stuff to the cast of For Him.

Not enough people are talking about for him the series. It's got such incredible chemistry between the 2 leads, and their NC scenes are done so well.

Side note does anyone know the name of the songs used in their nc scenes? I really enjoyed them

So I had so many ideas for this but I managed to narrow it down to a few different choices but I have one that ended up being perhaps not my first choice but the choice that made me to “ohhhhh!!!!” and figuratively point at it.

James Hayward Prescott to MeMindY

I recently bought and started reading, Love Sand which is Khom and Connor’s story. Khom had been featured in both TharnType and Love Sea with Connor being mentioned in both in some way (a one off mention in TharnType and being an unseen but featured character in Love Sea) and if Mame does actually plan to adapt Love Sand, I think James is a really good choice to play him. So I’m manifesting that he’ll play Connor if Mame decides to do Love Sand. Plus I think it would be fun to see James with blond hair.

Dew and Tor to IdolFactory

Dew has technically already worked with Idolfactory playing more minor characters but I would love to see him return to Idolfactory and to hopefully bring Tor with him. Tor was not treated well by Y Entertainment (no one was but yeah) and I think he might benefit from being able to work with Saint who had has similar experiences to him. Plus I think it would be good for Idolfactory as well as then they would have a more even couple count with 2 BL and 2 GL couples. I think TackPoom may come back together when Tack is finished filming the celebrity boxing show that he is a part of but if that does not happen, I think Dew and Tor would be a good choice. Especially if Saint is not planning to make him return to BL acting permanent.

Lastly

Li Le and Wang Yun Kai to Vidol BL series project.

VBL has produced quite a few Taiwanese BLs that I have enjoyed lately and I would love to see Li Le and Wang Yun Kai work with them. I’m not sure exactly how that would work as they are Mainland China actors while VBL is in Taiwan but if such a thing is possible I would love to see it. Plus I would love to see them work with Nancy Chen again. Something set in the modern era would be fun I think. (Maybe another series featuring the Ever androids).

For Him Review - Don't Know Who This Is For

"For Him" is a college campus romance starring Tor Atagorn Sonyot and Dew Nitikorn Pankram.

It’s probably best that I don’t rate the Thai series “For Him” because I gave up watching it after episode 7 and am pretty sure it doesn’t get much better. I did try seeing episodes eight and nine and ended up fast-forwarding almost all of it. It’s a twelve-episode show, and it’s hard to imagine how they stretch this story for so long! I shouldn’t even be admitting that I tried watching this…
