Hey everybody! Last week, I mentioned that I commissioned @devilh0rnsinc to do a comic of the last scene of my Henry/Susmita fic "According to Habermetrics"- well here it is!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!

I really love these characters and that story, and think Devil did a fantastic job of captiuring their sweetness and awakwardness here! She is really a fantastic artist and an absolute joy to work with!! Please think about reaching out to her if there is something you would like to commission.

Roudise Week Day 7: Secret/Magic

Happy last day of @roudiseshipweek!! It’s been a fun, wild ride, and I must give a huge, hearty thank you to @devilh0rnsinc for organizing this week and making it possible. I didn’t think I’d be able to get a drawing out for each day of this week, but I did!! And I feel very proud of myself because of it.

For this drawing, I decided to sketch out Rudy doing a magic trick and offering a flower to a flustered Louise. She’s secretly enjoying the whole thing, she’d just never admit it out loud!!

Check out this beautiful comic that the Amazing @devilh0rnsinc did of one of my favorite scenes from my current favorite of my fics, "And In the Backseats We Just Tried to Find Some Room to Breathe", which tells the story of Sylvester, Rudy, and Louise's ride home after the "we're still a family dinner" in "The Amazing Rudy"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SOOOO MUCH!!! I particularly love the lettering, which just so beautiful in itself, and the facial expressions that just capture the awkward sweetness of this moment so perfectly!

NOW, let me tell you how great Devil was to work with! Because, you see when I sent her a commission request, I did not ask for a comic. I just thought about a picture, like the last frame, and suggested she maybe have Louise saying her last line of dialogue here.

She came up with the suggestion of making it a comic and she came up with suggestions of abridging Louise's dialogue from the story so it would fit on one page- and she fit in more of Rudy's dialogue than I hoped or thought possible! (She also, very politely, reached out to me on here when I hadn't responded to one of her ko-fi messages because I didn't see it because my email is always so full.)

While she was working on this she told me how much she loved the fic and loved working on this and I think that really does show in the final art. If you are thinking about commissions some art, for a fic or just generally, please reach out to her.

What about Sylvester being the number 1 LouWheeze shipper (and potentially making everything awkward)

So this prompt stuck had been in my head all week… So I did a little thing.

This is OlderTeen!Roudise, (like around 17-18), keeping their relationship a secret. (which is 100% what they’d do) And then Rudy’s dad unfortunately catches them.

Rudy probably thought that no one was home and both of them were in the clear but… Plans foiled!

I love their designs here too.
