I find the fact that the IWTV showrunners just decided to throw in a super intense Dom/sub relationship between Louis and Armand, when it has NO basis in ANY of the books, to be extremely funny. Like, whose idea was that? What was the point? Why did EVERYONE go along with it? It served no plot purpose. You could excise that part of their relationship and it would change NOTHING in the rest of the show. So what was the reason? SOMEONE TELL ME I NEED TO KNOW

Daniel and Armand in bed in the 70’s and Armand’s FINALLY let Daniel get his hands on him. They’ve burst the bubble and let all the pent up tension between them come to a head and Armand is depleted and underfed and just generally all fucked out, but Daniel’s got the libido of a 20-something year old and he’s in LOVE. He’s ready for round 4 or 5 (he isn’t sure, he’s lost count) but Armand is a wrung out washrag in need of a sizable meal and he simply has no steam left in him. Daniel pins him to the mattress and Armand says the last word Daniel wants to hear.

“Rest.”

Daniel and Armand in bed in Dubai. Daniel’s been up for three nights, now, tearing the penthouse down with Armand, fighting and fucking and he’s old and he’s TIRED and he just wants to SLEEP, but Armand is manic, insatiable, bent on breaking him as a means to some end he doesn’t yet know.
