Harry Badun Application revamped;
Tumblr media
Name: Harold Everett Badun.
Known Aliases: Harry, Detective Harry, The leader, and Detective Badun.
Nicknames or Other: Detective, Harry #2, Har, Har Bear, Harry B, Badun, Toothbrush Shank kid, Stalker kid, and Oldie.
Date of Birth or Best Guess: March 2nd, same year Carlos was born.
Place of Birth:De Vil Manor, better known as Hell Hall, or as I like to call, the place where dreams (and living things),come to die.
Favorite Color: Any color other than Red, White, and Black.
Favorite Activity: Taking pictures, solving mysteries, fighting crime, and writing down everything that happens so SOMEBODY will remember because you, Auardon, clearly don't care to.
Favorite School Subject: Evil Schemes and Nasty Plots, Unnatural Biology, Scheme Management 101, P.E, and Tall Tales and the Tellers Who Tell Them. They're my favorites because they help me and my friends' Detective work easier and more possible.
Father's Name (or alias): Horace Badun.
Mother's Name (or alias): How am I supposed to know?  My dad's had many wives (surprisingly).
Father's Profession: Cruella's bumbling, obedient servant basically.
Mother's Profession: Again, I have no idea.
Who is your favorite of the first wave of VKs? There is no wrong answer.
Carlos because he was like family to me before we accidentally read his diary and found out that he saw us as nothing more than his "fake" friends.
Thanks alot for that Carlos!
I don't really know how Mal and Jay are over there but I didn't like them too much while we were growing up and I didn't know Evie that well when they left for Auardon.
So Carlos is my favorite if I have to choose.
In your own words, tell us why you want to come to Auardon. There is no wrong answer.
I want to come to Auardon so I don't end up getting murdered by Cruella like all of my siblings, cousins, aunts, and stepmothers were.
I want to go to school with my cousin and my friends, and Carlos and learn all the things we see on tv.
I want everyone to know about what all of us have gone through because of Auardon's horrible decisions.
I want to go because the isle is poison and slowly killing all of the innocent (or less evil, at least) people here.
The time does not fit the crime, especially for those of us who did nothing more than be born.
We don't deserve to die for our parents' sins.
We don't deserve to die young without ever seeing the sun and without ever having fresh food and new things that didn't come from the trash.
I want my cousin and I to sleep somewhere other than Carlos's treehouse.
I want Hermie to live somewhere other than a circus trailer.
I want Reza and his adoptive parents far, far away from his birth father and Yen Sid so he stops hating himself and so he's safe.
I want Eddie to be able to find help taking care of his elderly parents so that he actually gets a childhood.
I want Yzla to be able to actually spend time with her father.
I want all of the kids of the isle safe and free.
I want to be able to give all of the dead of the isle the proper burials they deserve.
I want them to be remembered.
You OWE us that much.
You left us here.
We did nothing and you abandoned us.
Is that too much to ask for?
That you pull your head out of your asses and start owning up for what YOUR neglect had caused?
What did we do wrong?
I hate you.
I hate you.
I HATE YOU.
Every last one of you.
You're all murders with the blood of innocent BABIES and CHILDREN ON your hands! You're why my family is dead. Why me and my friends didn't have childhoods.
I hate you.
I hate you.
I'm only filling this out because Jace, the other de Vil cousins, and my friends are too, and I'll be damned if I'm left behind. If I get forgotten.
No one's gonna forget me or the other kids. Not on my watch. I'll make sure of it. That you'll see us. You can't erase us. You can't erase me. You can't erase JUSTICE.
(STOP CROSSING SHIT OUT GUYS! THEY NEED TO SEE US!)
P.s I miss you Carlos. We all do. Even if you don't miss us, we miss you.
Your inventions, designs, and Beezlebub are all safe.
Just like I promised.
Now do what you promised.
 Answer us.
You haven't forgotten us have you?
Why haven't you written us?
Why did you write all those awful things in the journals you gave us?
I thought you were DIFFERENT!

The Badun detective agency in the 1920 mafia AU
For @hannahhook7744 I hope you enjoy!
There is a child at Jace's doorstep.
A fucking child, looking up at him with wide innocent eyes, like a fucking cherub. His hair a wild mess flung around by the chilly wind, and their ends were dyed blue.
(Who on earth lets a child dye its hair?)
Jace slowly blinks and looks down again: the boy is still here. Well.
„What do you want, kid?“ he asks, hoping that the child might want, well, directions back to his parents? That would be nice?
„My mom has three disembodied corpses in her basement,“ the boy states blankly, a picture of perfect innocence. His eyes are suddenly mildly unnerving, and it takes Jace's brain a moment to catch up on him.
„…What the fuck?“ he mutters more for himself than for the child, who takes it as an encouragement to repeat its words anyway.
So Jace draws a sharp breath and yells down the hall at his cousin: „Harry! Come here this instant! And bring your gun!“
You know, just in case-
Harry Badun runs to the door in truly record speed, the weapon safely pointed down. He looks disappointed when he sees only a child.
„Tell him what you told me,“ Jace sights towards the visitor.
„My mom has three disembodied corpses in her basement. They talk to me when I sleep.“
Ok.
That is a new info.
This is cool. Totally cool.
Harry tightens his grip on the weapon and looks around the street, then up the roofs, which, you know, always a good idea.
They are clear, though. It doesn't look as if anyone is gonna jump them, much less some psychotic woman. Those don't tend to be too quiet, and the Badun cousins would know.
Oh, and by the way. That silhouette against that balustrade over there? That is totally Reza. Snogging Jade. Harry owes Jace for this one.
Anyway. Right, the corpses.
„Come on, kid,“ he says, „Go inside and then tell us what you know, yeah?“
The kid's eyes shine as he steps inside and exclaims: „Do I get to be a detective too? I have always wanted to be a detective! I would be an awesome detective, since I know how do bodies look how long after death already!“
This is not a worrying statement at all. Not at all.
A shadow peels off the wall. Hermie. She was listening the whole time, of course she was.
„Dead bodies?“
„What exactly do you mean?!“
The kid answers and Jace bites back the irrational need to scream his lungs out. A vein at his temple pulses as the kid starts describing a rotting corpse with freakish accuracy to way too interested Hermie.
„Quiet! I need to concentrate!“ shouts Yzla from upstairs, „This is a delicate process!“
„Stop painting your pretty pictures for a moment,“ shouts Harry back, „This is a bloody murder case!“
„I'm trying to recreate Renoir here, you ignorant simpleton-“
„A what?“
Yzla screams incoherently and Jace interrupts the argument before it can truly begin:
„We also have a kid that might be in danger and knows absolutely too much.“
„…I'm coming. But if the paint dries and I won't be able to get back to it, it will be all your fault.“
Jace doesn't even acknowledge that as worthy of an answer.
„Jace?“ Hermie nudges him slightly, while the kid infodumps at slightly traumatized-looking Harry about the different types of gunshot wounds, „Should I get Reza too?“
„…Nah,“ decides Jace, „He is snogging Jade right now, and we wouldn't want to interrupt.“
Hermie nods curtly and turns over to Harry: „You owe me and Yzla a bottle of cognac,“ she says, and Jace whistles. His cousin is losing in the big, today.
The kid tugs at his sleeve: „So what about my mom's basement, Mr Detective?“ the kid asks and he really should ask who his mom is. Also, what is his name?
So he asks, and when the child answers, looking at him with impossibly wide eyes, he almost gets an aneurysm.
„I'm detective Hadie, sir,“ the child reports proudly. Harry and Hermie just shrug – they don't know what is happening either. Nor does Yzla, who just appeared at the top of the stairs, wearing nothing but a negligee, and didn't she say she was working?
Oh, well.
Jace clears his throat.
„Right, kid. Hadie. And who is your mother?“
„But you are detectives!“ the child protests, „You gotta know that, no?“
„…Sure. We know that. Absolutely. And the bodies? Wait, no,“ Jace catches himself. This will certainly be a conversation, so:
„Let's go to the saloon first, shall we?“
Even if the saloon is just a fancy name for a room with a dining table and the kitchen counter, as he and Harry can hardly afford anything else.
They do have enough chairs, though, even if they are rarely used and mostly ignored: Hermie sits on the table, swinging her legs idly in the air, and Yzla plops herself down Harry's lap, setting his weapon aside. Fucking menace, that girl.
Jace himself takes the chair next to them and the boy stays standing.
(If Reza wouldn't be too busy with his current hookup, he would just lean against the wall and try to look very cool and intimidating, and smoke his cigarettes. Jace could do with a cigarette himself. Or better yet, a drink. The cigarette smoke reminds himself and Harry a bit too much of Cruella.)
„Now, tell us what you know,“ Jace asks the kid and damn. That kid. Does not shut up. Ever.
By the first thirty minutes, Yzla gets up and opens a bottle of wine to pass around, not even bothering with the glasses.
By an hour, Hermie is playing with her favourite dagger a bit too much and Harry has reclaimed back his handgun.
By hour and half, Jace is very ready to bleach his brain, thank you very much.
Hadie slows for a moment and Jace immediately stops him: „I think that's quite enough for today, Hadie,“ he says, „Thank you. Would you just step behind that door real quick?“
The kid pouts at him.
„Ehm… Me and my detectives need to discuss the evidence you just presented to us. And decide the, ehm, next course of action.“
Hadie finally steps behind the door when all present adults – including Eddie, who showed up half-way through – point at them.
And there is not much of a discussion, not really.
„Tell me we are taking that kid to Uma,“ blurts out Yzla before he can even speak.
„We could keep him,“ propose Hermie and Harry at the same time, and, yeah, no. As if Harry didn’t know they are barely staying afloat as it is, never mind, you know, not remotely responsible enough to raise a child?
…Yeah, it says a lot when a child would be safer on the streets, under the protection of one of the wildest Auradon City gangs, than anywhere else.
„We are taking him to Uma,“ decides Jace, and Yzla sights in relief. Eddie motions for her to pass the wine.
„You can come back, kid!“ Jace raises his voice, „We have decided!“
„Yay!“ the tiny disaster runs back to the room, „Do I get to be a detective too? Will we solve the case of my mother’s basement? Track down the victims’ family?“
Actually…
Jace knows how to get the kid to cooperate and go to safety voluntarily now: He winks at his associates, as to signal the general „don’t question me, I’ve got this.“
„Sure we are, kid. But, you see, right now we are working on another serious case, and we need you to help us. Will you be our eyes on the streets, detective Hadie?“
„Yes! I will, Mr detective sir! When do I start?“
„As soon as we can get you to the location. Now, let’s not lose any more time: We will debrief you on the way.“
That will hopefully give Jace enough time to come up with decent backstory, so, yeah.
With a yawn, Yzla gets up and sets off to her atelier, also known as the attic, not bothering to say goodbye, and Harry sets off to find his metal boxer and emergency knife.
„Reza is gonna be so mad he missed this-“ Hermie giggles, „It’s gonna be so much fun!“
And then, the Badun detective agency escorts its newest member, or, more accurately, adoptee, to Uma.
They don’t have any idea how much trouble they are causing Uma in the long run.

Probably because he doesn't want them to feel left out like they already have their entire life.
Cute.
Of course it didn't work—I can already imagine the antics.
That was fun for no one.
Headcanons for the Baduns and Rossis?
Whenever Lampwick is about to host a family dinner or holiday party , Harry and Jace Badun are the first to get an invite .
Lampwick made them both groomsmen at His and Tiger Lily's Vow renewal !
Lampwick tried to give them both Curfew when The Coachman was set free after the barrier was brought down . They didn't listen and Lampwick was worried sick about them !
Anita Radcliff and Carina Rossi got into a huge fight over who has actual custody of Harry and Jace in Your BDA Rewrite .

What do you think of the following au:
(Sorry in advance for asking since this is rather dark).
On the isle, there are no cops. No Cps. Barely--if any-- enough doctors. Barely any supplies.
Because of this, crime and violence run rampant and unchecked.
And lots and lots of people die.
So the kids, as in canon, have to step up.
The older kids look out for the younger ones the best they can with the help of some of the nicer adults on the isle.
Adults like henchmen, petty criminals, Dr Facilier, Anastasia Tremaine, Lefou, and Smee.
But they don't always succeed.
Which is where one group of kids known as the Badun Detective Agency step in.
The Badun cousins (Harry and Jace), who have lost many siblings, stepmothers/aunts, pets, and cousins to Cruella while their fathers did nothing.
Hermie Bing who's beloved father-- the ring master-- died when she was young due to gulit and poor mental health leaving her alone.
Eddie Balthazar, who's eldery parents (Aunt Sarah and Edgar Balthazar) are stuck on the isle in poor condition. Who knows what a family is supposed to be like.
Reza who was mistreated horribly by his biological father-- the former royal astronomer of Agrabah-- and barely remembers his bio mother, a harem member, only to be taken in by Sadira and Mozenrath.
And sweet little Yzla who is separated from her father (Cedric) who is off the isle. Who has seen her mother be belittled by her grandmother (Amza) every day of her life as her little brother and older cousins turn darker and darker every day.
Together, they keep track of every horrible injury. Every missing person. Every domestic dispute. Every death. Occasionally getting help from Hades and Hadie.
Why do they do this, you ask?
Why, It's simple.
They do it in case the barrier is ever brought down or in case they ever get access to the internet so that Auardon's heroes can't sweep it-- them-- under the rug forever.
So that they don't forget everyone they left to die and suffer.
So that even if they die, it will leave a stain on the heroes' memories-- mainly Beast-- for what they did to them.
This is a very good concept! I burrowed some of your inspiration for my second gen story.

It was cold in the mountains.
-
The Obscurial was a problem.
-
Officially, queens stayed in the nursery most of the time when their kits were very young, being brought food by their mates and sometimes siblings or parents, but Crowfeather had never been the most attentive of mates in the short time they'd been together - he'd been even more distracted than usual of late, which was really saying something - and Nightcloud wanted some fresh air anyway, so she tucked moss around the sleeping Breezekit to keep him warm and went to probe the fresh-kill pile.
-
The sky had always called to Vonni.

Eventually, in between questions about embroidery and painting and magical gifts, they talk about destiny.
-
"I hear through the rumor mill that CJ's gotten her license?" Mal asked.
-
"Thanks for cooking breakfast for me." Dolores kissed Mariano on the cheek.
-
Archie and Mims had befriended each other pretty quickly, once everything had died down. Mims had been wary of Archie at first, what with him being a ghost and all.
-
"I'm not telling him. You tell him."
-
"Harriet!" The voice was quiet, yet persistent. It found its way inside her dreams like smoke, and slowly dragged her out of their comforting embrace.

Note
Can i have the BDA'S Baby pictures please ?
Harry Badun:
Harry Badun doesn't have the baby pictures from the first year of his and Mable (his twin)'s life; Helga does.
He does have the baby pictures from when he was one and up.
But he can't look at any of them.
He's hugging and playing with Mable and Jace (and other siblings and cousins who are long gone) in most of them.
He gives most of the baby pictures he had to his long lost cousin, Lampwick, or lets (his half brother) Hunter de Vil and his mom, Helga Sinclair, have them.
But he kept one of these pictures. Just one.
It's a picture of him, Mable, Carlos, Hunter, and Jace from not long after the two of them were left at Hell Hall.
Carlos is in a dalmatian onesie, a tuff of white hair in his eyes and chewing on a stuffed dalmatian. Laying on Hunter's head.
Jace is in a hippopotamus onesie, reaching for his mother from behind the camera.
Hunter is fast asleep, still in his day to day clothes.
And Harry and Mable?
Why they're in giraffe costumes, hugging each other. Mable chewing on his hair and himself kicking Hunter in the face.
It's his favorite picture and the only one he can look at without having a breakdown.
Jace Badun:
Jace Badun has a lot of baby pictures for an isle kid even though Cruella destroyed a lot of them in fits of rage.
This is, of course, because his mom loved him and had access to a polaroid camera.
Jace was a big (and chubby) baby and was born with a head full of curly brown hair and big brown eyes.
There's pictures of him chewing on his hand.
There's pictures of him playing with Mable and Harry.
There's even a picture of his dad actually holding him and looking happy that he exists.
But mostly, there's just selfies his mom took while holding him because she couldn't get him to smile otherwise most of the time (baby Jace was very attached to his mama).
Hermie Bing:
Hermie has a decent amount of baby pictures and videoes.
Baby pictures that look really old timey because of the cameras used.
There's plenty of baby her with what little hair she had up in pigtails as she hugs a random animal from the circus.
There's one of every single circus performer holding her.
There's one where she's sitting on her dad's hat while he's hearing it (ready to catch her if she falls), drumming on it.
There's tons of her with clowns (even one where they dressed her as one).
There's also a video of her giggling and running from her dad to avoid getting a bath after playing in the mud.
Yzla Sorcerer:
Yzla's parents have a few polaroids of baby Yzla, but they have more drawings and even a couple of paintings of baby her.
There's one were baby Yzla (in a crow onesie) is holding a new born Zevon with Lil Yaz's assistance, eyebrow raised in an unimpressed/confused manner.
There's one of Lil Yaz holding her not long after she was born, looking mesmermized.
There's one of the very unhappy twins sitting next to Yzla. The boys bruised from fighting over who got to hold her, which led to them both being informed neither of them were getting too anymore. Yzla is chewing on her foot there.
There's one of Yzma holding her with an uncharacteristically soft smile, next to Cedric.
There's one of Yzla laughing gleefully and reaching for Wormwood the crow, who is trying to fly away. Hugging a kitten gently with Cedric nearby to intervene if necessary.
Yzla's least favorite is the one where her grandmother is holding her. She's in a maroon diaper and a baise shirt that looks vaguely like a toga, and she's crying and turning purple (an unfortunate inherited trait from her family where they all turn purple when extremely upset, angry, or frustrated) because her grandmother is holding her.
Reza Vizer:
Reza has one picture.
Just one.
And it's all because of his mother's coworker that he even has that.
It's of his mom (shortly before she died) holding him, a weak smile on her face and a soft look in her eyes. He's small in the picture and his hair is sticking up, and it looks like he's smiling as he naps on.
It's the only evidence he has that he was ever loved before he was adopted when he was eight.
Eddie Balthazar:
Eddie has the most baby pictures out of his friends.
There's several of him in sweaters and little tuxedos—Auradon clothes that his parents didn't even try to make look more isle like.
There's pictures of him in onesies. His hair in his eyes as he pouts, reaching for Si and Am who keep running from him.
There's a few of him snuggled up to Si and Am, and there's several of him with his parents (Sarah Brown from Lady and The Tramp & Eddie Balthazar from Aristocrats).
There's pictures of him eating.
Pictures of him sleeping.
Pictures of him playing.
There's a video of his first steps somewhere that one of their friends, Elvira or Amos Slade, must have taken.
There's even pictures of him with their friends and their friends' kids and one of him with a large rainbow Carnival pop/sucker/lolipop at the circus with a baby Hermie and a baby Jace both of which also large rainbow Carnival pops.
That one was quite a surprise to find and is his absolute favorite.
Elle Athanasiou:
Eric and Ariel don't have any baby pictures because they didn't adopt Elle till she was three.
But they have a ton of pictures of her from after they adopted her to make up for that (it's a lie, Eric and Ariel would actually probably kill someone for Elle's baby pictures. It kills them they don't have any of her like they do of her sisters and most of her cousins. Though they would also probably kill for their other adopted nieces and nephews' baby pictures).
Their favorite is a picture of her from when they first adopted her—the first one where she gives them a genuine smile after she got to hold one of Max's puppies (and keep it).
Hadie Athanasiou:
There's one of baby Hadie laying in a bed of flowers on what looks like Olympus: he's in an all black onesie with little skulls over it, hugging the flowers.
There's one of him napping on Cerberus with Cerberus's puppy, Flowey.
There's a few him with his siblings.
There's one of when his hair lit a flame for the first time and scared Pain and Panic.
But Hades' (and Persephone's) favorite is the one where Zeus is holding Hadie (who's in a flower onesie), who is mid puke (think the exorcist).

Here's a fun question :
Who's Most Likely to bail you out of Jail : Harry Badun or Jace Badun ?
Harry Badun will, no questions asked and no matter the circumstance. He will also flip off the building as you leave and give you tips on how not to get caught again next time (after you tell him what you did).
Jace Badun will half the time but if you pissed him off recently, you're gonna have to sit there for awhile. You'll also get lectured depending on what you did.

Note
Do you think the BDA members would keep a journal and/or a diary?
Ace McCard of Wonderland:
By choice? No.
By force via school assignment that he never bothers to touch after the fact? Yes.
Avalon Mim-Knightley of the Isle:
Yes.
But it's mostly full of everything she knows about the Mims and her imagining what her relationship with each and every member would be pre-meeting them.
She burns it after Maddy accidentally reads it.
Bill Cook of Wonderland:
Yes, but it's a handmade cook book with notes that tell just a little too bit about his life.
Chester Chatty of Wonderland:
Yes.
But absolutely nobody other than Ace and Red can read it because he writes in it upside down (messily) and in code, and half of the words are doodled over or smudged.
Chloe Charming of Cinderellasburg:
Yes.
She started keeping one after Chad did because she was itty bitty and wanted to be like her big brother (who mellowed out as an adult but at the time she didn't know what he was like to others in highschool). Anyway, she ended up enjoying it and now looks back at other old journals to see what she was like.
Though unlike the others she's very aware that others could potentially read it because Audrey told her about how others read and wrote in hers.
So she doesn't write anything too incriminating in there.
But she does very much write musings on Red, like you suggested in your own post and (before Red noticed her), she wrote about how jealous she was of Ace because she wanted Red to look at her like that.
(And after Red noticed her and Ace came back no longer having any romantic interest in Red, she painted over those pages so that absolutely no one could find out what she used to think of Ace).
Danny Stuart-Darling of Darling Coast:
Yes.
It has little doodles of Neverland, fairies, pirates, etc in it too (he also hides it in his wall).
Dee Tweedle of Wonderland:
Yes.
Though no one can really read it besides Twee because most of the words are smudged and there are splashes of ink/paint everywhere because she usually writes very fast due to her energy.
She writes in it no matter the emotion she's feeling even with her sharing her emotions with others.
Dora Dormington of Wonderland:
Yes but she usually ends up destroying the pages she writes in so that Twee (when she's working for the Queen of Hearts because not much other choice) and the Queen of Hearts can't ever read what she writes.
Mainly because she knows it'll probably be considered treason.
Eddie Balthazar:
A personal one?
No because he has absolutely no energy for that between going to school, taking care of his parents and the cats, his detective work, and all the various jobs he does to survive.
A shared one he and the BDA have as a 'bonding exercise' yes but he doesn't write in it often.
Edith Athanasiou of the Isle:
No, she thinks it's stupid.
Elle Athanasiou of Tirulia:
Yes, because it helps her keep a good hold on her temper/emotions.
She started keeping one as soon as she learned how to write because her therapist that her parents got for her after she was adopted suggested it.
Everlee D'Aquire of the Isle:
Yes, but absolutely no one wants to read it because of how scary some of the things she writes are.
(Her friends all learned the hard way not to read other people's journal, from her)?
Glauco White of Charmington:
No.
He doesn't really like touching paper more than he has to after the Evil Queen turned him into a tree.
Hadie Athanasiou of the Underworld:
He used to but he stopped because he kept accidentally burning it to ash when he got too upset/angry (like Lava Girl in 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl').
Harry Badun:
Both personal and shared, yes, because in his words 'detectives need dairies for improvement' and 'team bonding'.
Hermie Bing:
Yes.
She uses colorful ink and doodles all kinds of clowns, animals, and tricks in it and in the group's shared journal.
Jace Badun:
Yes but only when he's pissed off or writing in the group's shared journal.
Katy Pillar of Wonderland:
Yes and it's rather boring.
It also smells like smoke.
Khalil Hunterson of the Isle:
Nope.
He's not really interested in them.
Lada Haggins of the Isle:
Tried to do one but got bored half way through.
Lazarus Stromboli of the Isle:
Yes, but it's more of a dream journal than a regular journal/diary.
Maddox Hatter of Wonderland:
Yes.
It smells like tea and is mainly filled with ideas for inventions and rambles about Red's recklessness and his fears for her safety.
Miriam Monroe of the Isle:
Yes.
It's filled with rants about her mom, ideas about how her brother might be like as a person, and theories on who her dad might be, and absolutely nothing else.
Panos Imp-Coachmen of the Isle:
Yes but if you read it, it will give you anxiety because it's filled with his anxious ramblings.
Paro Imp-Athanasiou of the Isle:
Yes.
Panos accidentally read it once and had nightmares for months because it's mainly filled with Paro's fascination over the pain he can't feel and doodles of graphic horror movie scenes.
Red Hearts of Wonderland:
Yes.
It's filled with rants about everything she hates regarding Wonderland and her parents and her feelings for Ace (back when she had them) that turned into feelings for Chloe.
You can pin point the exact moment she realized she was into girls (Chloe specifically) in the diary.
Reza Vizer of Agrabah:
Twee Tweedle of Wonderland:
Yes.
He writes both a personal journal that is filled with all the random ideas he has, things he wants to learn about, and past traumatic experiences and takes part in the team bonding exercise that is having a team journal.
Shan Deja of the Isle:
Yes but it's only filled with descriptions of fights she and the other have been in.
Yes.
It helps her keep her emotions in check, which when she was working for the Queen of Hearts she definitely needed (especially with Red frustrating her like she did, even though it wasn't really either of their faults).
Zuri Crocuta of the Isle:
Yzla Sorcerer of Enchania:
Yes.
She writes in both the team journal and a personal one.
In her personal journals she complains about Zevon's antics, how they drive her mother crazy, how much she hates her grandmother and her aunt, how much she misses Lil Yaz, how worried she is for Zim and Zam, and how complicated her feelings regarding her father (Cedric)'s work are.
Not really.
She didn't really learn how to write until she got to Auradon because her mom couldn't teach her how to do it with her hands, and none of her team mates or mentors thought to teach her since she didn't go to school.

in your BDA Rewrite, describe Harry and Jace's relationship with each of the Rossi family members: Grandma Bria, Carina, Lampwick and Bella?
In full detail please !
Tumblr media
Jace Badun's Relationships:
Jace Badun & Graunt Bria's relationship: Their relationship can be kind of tense at times because as you said when describing Lampwick's family, she is very protective towards her grandkids and a bit strict.
Which of course, the isle kids aren't at all used to.
Jace obviously doesn't like not being seen as an equal by her (because adults tend not to treat kids like equals for obvious reasons) and not getting a say in things when he's basically raised himself and Harry (as much as you can raise someone a few months younger than you).
He doesn't like how weird she acts about the idea of him having sleepovers with The BDA and Elle. Doesn't like her telling him he's too young to date or that he's taking things too fast.
Jace thinks she's overbearing, controlling, and intense (and though he is starting to care about her, it reminds him a bit too much of Cruella, his dad, and his uncle for his liking).
Bria, on the other hand, just wants to make up for all the lost time.
She feels guilty.
Gulity that Lampwick went missing and she blamed her daughter for it. Gulity that Bella didn't want to grow up (because she feels like it's her and Carina's lives that made her make that decision). Gulity she wasn't more protective of her daughter (she could have found Geppetto or another good man sooner rather than two deadbeats).
Guilty she didn't know her sister had kids: guilty she didn't know her brother-in-law was in danger. Guilty she that she wasn't there for Jace, Harry, and all their siblings and cousins that she didn't know existed until there were barely any left.
She wants to protect Jace, maybe even more than she wants to protect Harry. Because it's clear by how Jace is that he hasn't had very much protecting and parenting in his life.
But Jace is the protector and doesn't want protecting. Doesn't know how to accept being protected instead of doing the protector. So, things are tense at times.
Jace Badun & 'Aunt' Carina's relationship: Jace doesn't know how to act around Carina.
She's...kinder than he's used to adults being. Worries more. Her scoldings aren't harsh. She's never raised a hand to him.
She tries to tend to his injuries. To help him with his homework and to help him understand why things are the way they are in Auradon. And tries to parent him but she's a lot less intense than Bria is.
She wants to protect him, he can tell.
(She reminds him of his mom in the few clear memories he has of her).
Carina understands Jace a lot more than she understands Harry.
She understands his wariness that isn't outright paranoia: she understands his protective nature and why he's so independent. Why not getting a say in things frustrates him to no end.
It doesn't mean she doesn't want to protect him: she does. She just doesn't know how to do it without scaring him off (and by extension, Harry) off.
Jace Badun & Cousin Lampwick's relationship: Lampwick confuses Jace.
One minute it's like Lampwick is just another one of the teens: he treats Jace like an equal in conversation. Doesn't mince his words or treat Jace like he's a stupid little kid who's never been faced with an actual problem in his life.
He doesn't have most of the weird opinions Auradon seems to have about 'gender norms' or expect anything of Jace.
The next Lampwick is fretting over some injury he or Harry's gotten or getting the same pinched expression on his face that his mom gets whenever Harry or Jace joke about something in their lives or share a 'happy' childhood memory as he walks or drives them to wherever they were gonna go.
Then he's giving them advice that's actually helpful to them.
It's...baffling.
Lampwick sees himself post Pleasure Island in Jace: the haunted eyes, the protective nature. The hatred, annoyance, and anger at the unfairness of it all, hidden behind a quiet mask of defeated acceptance.
Sees himself in the way Jace stands in front of Harry, Bella, and others whenever someone gets to yelling or picking a fight (and remembers himself doing the same with Pinocchio, Alexander, Bella, and his other friends).
Sees himself in Jace's insecurity and in his mother henning over Harry (who'd probably have gotten himself killed without Jace by his side).
He wants to protect him but knows that Jace will never accept it. So he treats him how Lampwick wished he'd been treated as a kid, before and after Pleasure Island.
Jace Badun & Cousin Bella's relationship: Bella reminds Jace of Harry.
She's hyper—never staying still for too long. Always moving from one place to another, disappearing in the blink of an eye and scaring the shit of you. She's reckless and annoying at times but protective of the ones she cares about—no matter how much older or bigger said person is.
She looks like him. Acts like him. Has a strong sense of justice and even joined the hunters of Artemis, which Jace could have easily seen Harry doing if he'd been a girl.
The two get along and hide from Aphrodite together, and sink her on Jace so she stops trying to get them to date people. And even though it annoys the heck out of Jace, he can't blame them because it got him Elle.
He wants to protect Bella just like he wants to protect Harry, even though he knows she doesn't really need it and is older than she looks.
Jace reminds Bella of Lampwick after he got back from pleasure island.
Quiet, never speaking unless spoken to: eyes lifeless and staring. Drifting about through life like a ghost but trying to act like he's fine. Always protecting those he cares about and getting into fights for them.
Trying to protect Bella even though she doesn't want nor need it (and doing the same for Harry like Lampwick did with Pinocchio).
She wants to protect him.
She wants him to go away.
He frustrates her to no end but that's family for ya.
Harry Badun's Relationships:
Harry Badun & Graunt Bria's relationship: It can be very volatile at times.
Bria is stern, strict, and protective—A no nonsense type of lady who isn't very humourous and looks like she can snap at any moment. A woman who doesn't leave any room for arguments (kind of like Jace but a lot more stern since she's an actual adult).
She makes Harry go home if he catches him out on the town before he turns 18. She will walk him home, scolding him the whole way. "—You're a growing boy, Harold, you need your sleep and it's dangerous at night!"
She makes him go to every meal when they're in the same house. Has a set bedtime for him and Jace when they're at her house.
She calls him 'Harold' and Jace 'Jason', and it just drives Harry up the wall because he has no idea why she's doing this.
She's not flexible like Jace.
She doesn't treat him like an equal (because again, child vs. adult thing). She acts like he's a child (he is) and doesn't understand his and Jace's whole detective thing.
And after she finds out about his missng spleen she does everything she can to force him to do what experts say you need to do when you don't have one.
She doesn't let him do anything when he's sick.
And it's all too much for Harry, who only had a mother when he up until he was one.
Then he has his mom back and doesn't want another maternal figure. He doesn't like the pushing and the concerned preening about when he's gonna settle down and get a 'safe' job.
They fight (and god does he get flashbacks to Cruella whenever they do).
But at the end of the day, she's family to the Badun cousins in a way Harry's own uncle and dad never were.
Harry Badun & 'Aunt' Carina's relationship: Harry doesn't know how to react around Carina.
She's kind and motherly and so empathetic—and gets this weird 'pinched' expression whenever he and Jace mention little things that happened on the isle.
Things Harry and Jace thought were funny.
It's never fun when you tell someone a funny story and they just quietly say "I'm sorry that happened to you."
She hugs him when she sees him and it makes his skin itch, because he's touch starved for affection that doesn't come from his friends and because he's afraid even though he doesn't know it. His brain is hot wired to think touch is bad because he and Jace and all the other isle kids are just so used to touch meaning violence.
She tries to parent him and Jace like everyone else in the family (and their friends' families and their foster parents) try to do. But she's not as pushy and boundary stomping about it.
He's more comfortable around her than Bria and he loves them both. But he's still very confused about it all.
Carina, on the other hand, wants to protect him and give him everything he and Jace never had. But it's hard because she doesn't know how to do so in a way that won't send the two of them running for the hills.
They're cautious and suspicious of everything that comes from those they aren't friends with. They've been taught to be hardened and not to show weakness to anyone, and that they can rely on very few people.
And it just breaks her heart.
Harry Badun & Cousin Lampwick's relationship: Harry likes Lampwick the second most out of his new family.
Lampwick isn't too overprotective (at least by his definition): doesn't boss him around too much. Doesn't treat him like a child most of the time.
He's helpful and doesn't criticize his field of work or suggest that he's not normal in any way. Doesn't force him to eat every time he sees him.
They play cards and pool together.
Sure he can be annoying about things like curfew and stuff but it's a manageable annoying.
Lampwick sees his pre pleasure island self in Harry: in his reckless and impulsive behavior. In his 'fuck it, we ball' attitude.
Sees himself in the way Harry fights authority and curses school, and is unapologetically himself. Even if people bitch at him for it.
So he treats Harry like he wishes an adult had treated him as a kid (but you know, with a mix of how he treats his own kids).
Harry Badun & Cousin Bella's relationship: Bella is Harry's favorite of the new family members.
She doesn't badger him about relationships he doesn't want.
She doesn't get a pinched expression whenever he talks about his childhood or treat him like he's made of glass.
Bella actually seems to be interested in his work and she doesn't scold him for random stuff he does.
Harry is Bella's favorite family member—hands down, no competition.
He doesn't act crazily overprotective of her.
He doesn't scold her for the stuff she does and actually joins in.
He doesn't compare their situations or make her feel invalidated even if they both know that Apollo was a far better dad than his own dad.
He doesn't roll his eyes whenever she says she's never gonna grow up and that she's gonna be a hunter of Artemis forever.
Harry likes learning about the hunters of Artemis and her other interests, and he doesn't do any of the gross PDA Lampwick and Tiger Lily or Geppetto and Carina do.
And he doesn't snitch when she sneaks out (and she returns the favor by not doing so as well).

In Your BDA Rewrite , Did Lampwick's Mama, Carina try to Parent Harry and Jace ? If so How did Both boys React to that ?
I mean, she and the rest of now adult Rossi family probably tried ?
Tried being the key word because Jace hasn't had a mom in eight years and has gotten used to taking care of others/being the dad-mom friend & well... Harry never had a mom to begin with.
Harry's confused as to what they're doing and resistant, like he is with Jace, because 'I'm an adult, I can take care of my self!' (he very much cannot).
Jace is just frustrated because 'I'm an adult, I can take care of my self!' (he can but he shouldn't have to).
And well, by the time Harry's mom (Helga Sinclair) does come back into the picture she's not happy about someone else trying to parent her kid (and Jace Badun isn't happy with her for trying to parent Harry after sixteen years. He's also more than willing to tell her that no, one year of her raising him when he was an infant doesn't count.... Yeah, she's gonna be on his bad side for a while because he doesn't understand that at all).
Still, it doesn't stop them all from trying.
