y'all I'm so excited for movie 27 I just wanna share some of my scattered thoughts abt the Big Secret.

since we've heard the movie is gonna explain why shinichi and kaito look so similar, I can really only imagine them being related? idk what other explanation there could be. but whether or not that's true I don't think that's the actual secret.

they've mentioned its a secret about "kid" but that doesn't necessarily mean kaito. judging from the reports that this is the first time in the series we see kaito this angry AND the va said recording made him cry, I think this is a secret kaito himself doesn't know, and it will elicit a lot of emotions for him.

if I'm right about that, it wouldn't make sense for the secret to be about how they're related, because honestly I doubt shinichi and kaito would care that much. plus it's very clearly a KID secret, if it had to do with shinichi wouldn't they mention that? unless their parents had an affair and the two are half brothers it just doesn't seem big enough idk.

I'm assuming this is a secret about the first kid, toichi. I really hope it isnt that he's secretly alive but also it very well could be. either it's information relating to his murder or (more likely imo) it's something toichi hid. I think kaito is gonna have to face something about his father's death which would explain an outburst of emotions. especially since aoko is in the movie, I think we're gonna get time seeing kaito which we haven't really had in any of the movies so far, it's just been kid.

anyway that's just my two cents, we'll find out in a month 🤭

This is a little post regarding today spoilers and revelations.

Well it ended up not being so little but… little opinion

Guys im am well aware that is sad to lose a ship to family bond or forced partner. But you can still ship it, canon divergence is a thing! Even tho these franchise exploit a bit the Yaoi coupling to gain more fans, we all know from the get going who is going to end up with whom in this series. Gosho had made it clear in a number of occasions what his intentions regarding the couples are, we can like it or not. But that it's no excuse to Hate on him, or in other fans, no body is holding you hostage to enjoy this series and to say that you were mislead is goinga bit too far? I mean we all knew.

I have my own experiences accepting that my ship is not and will never be canon 🥲 and ye is sad but that hasn't stoped me from keep liking the ship or the series, also i kept writing and creating for them because as long as we like it is fine.

This new revelation is not a ban on the art or the fics or Doujinshis, is just a fact that you can maneuver around 🤷🏻‍♀️

The point of all this is please don't start spreading hate, we are all here because we love DCMK maybe different ships yes, maybe a bit tired of the different levels of bullshit 😅 but all DCMK fans at the end.

I have seen a couple of comments about hating Gosho and the franchise for taking advantage of them, but, in my opinion, even tho he gave a lot of candy to some Yaoi ships, he was never private in saying what the canon ships were.

Now I'm not saying “i don't be sad! Don’t be mad” you can! as i said in a previous post, it was a low blow! But to go from there to spread hate is a bit much.

I hope from the bottom of my heart that no one here take this as an attack, I'm just trying to express my wish to not have conflicts here. I know X is completely different from this place, but i have seen there the hate soil the beautiful community of DCMK fans and i’d be really sad to watch something like that happen here too.

I want you all to know that i love all your art and it’d be a real boomer see a great part of it lost due a silly little thing like new Canon (it's not a sarcastic comment btw, we as fans should be used to do what we feel is right in our own creations fics/comics/art, and i insist canon divergence Is a thing! You can keep on and ignore canon)

Like at this point Shinichi/Conan probably gives more shits about Kaito/KID than both of Kaito's parents

Y'all we just saw movie 27 last night and it was SO GOOD!! Spoilers below~

One of the absolute BEST parts of the movie was Kaito's new theme, I absolutely ADORE the circus music with him it literally fits so well with every scene. Just in general the soundtrack was amazing.

Kaito wasn't in the movie a whole lot, he just kind of appeared sometimes, caused chaos, and then left and it's brilliant. The amount of times Heiji and Kaito save each other despite being rivals (and Heiji being pissed with KID) its just perfection.

Maybe my favorite scene is where Heiji and what's his face are having a sword fight on top of a plane and Heiji falls of, but Kaito come in (circus theme in tow), grabs him and just plops him back on the plane 😭😭 my guy didn't even stick around in case he fell again.

Ran spending the movie supporting Heiji and his confession was so cute. When she knocked out that guy and took him away so Kazuha and Heiji could be alone, like #1 wingwoman right there.

Dude and the confession scene was SO GOOD. Like that would've been the perfect confession if not for the fact the movie is technically not canon so relationship progress can't be made.

Kaito's reaction to Nakamori getting shot was the most heartbreaking thing, and then him visiting him in the hospital with Aoko but in disguise, and leaving once he woke up, man I wish he could just visit him as Kaito. It wouldn't be weird either because they're practically family! I just feel so bad for Kaito. But the phonecall at the end was so sweet.

Toichi's reveal at the end was literally the most villainous thing I've ever seen. Also it was a little unclear if Kaito found out his dad was alive or not? It probably mentioned something in the dialogue we missed but Kaito didn't really react all that much so I'm assuming he still doesn't know (and also something that big I think would be revealed to him in his own manga).

For the case itself, we tried our best to follow it but it was a bit confusing considering we don't know Japanese, but overall we were able to pick up on a lot of stuff.

All in all, amazing movie. The animation, the choreography, the soundtrack, everything was just so intense and super well-done, I can't wait until the movie is around with subtitles so I can get 100% of the picture rather than like 80%.
