Scenario in which the final battle between Humanity and the Witness was being broadcasted LIVE throughout the city. Everyone huddled together, forming crowds in the streets. I can feel all of their heartbeats, the dread, the smallest bit of hope. Then the Guardians win. They see the Witness overflow with light and fade away and suddenly… can you imagine the roar of an entire city in unison? People are running down the streets screaming like banshees, most of them are bawling their eyes out at the same time. The hugs, the kisses, there’s a way too warm feeling in their souls now, overwhelming to the point that they might just have to lay down. But they do it smiling so so so so wide. They won. The Guardians won. The Guardians…. won. Humanity won. It was probably an amazing thing to see if it actually happened.
