1 Manifesto: O último exercício do workshop #5exerciciossimples .

Start asking “WHY“
"WHY" matters
Since the day I started learning design, I've been hearing a question, "How did you do that". How did you create that logo, how did you make that gradient, how did you make that animation...the context changes, but the question remains the same.
Yes, the "how" is important, without it, you won't be able to make anything. But it should not be the first question that you ask.
Ask Why.
Why did you make that logo, why did you choose that color or gradient, why did you animate it like that. This helps you understand the DESIGN and the thinking behind it.
Question everything, every decision that was made in a design, and then try to answer those questions one by one. This way, you would understand why the decisions were made, why some things works here, and some don't.
Once you have that basic understanding, you can start asking "How".
Basic Exercise
Take a design that you love (not yours), it can be anything, a logo, ui design of web/mobile, poster, illustration or whatever. Open it in a design software of your choice (I use illustrator)
Divide the design into parts,
Colors, take out all the colors
Type, what are the typefaces used, their font, weight, everything
Layout, bring out the rulers and start placing them. Trace the entire layout.
Images, take out the images
Textures, if present, what kind of textures are there.
Write why this design was made, what was the purpose. If you already know this, great. But if you don't know,
If possible, ask the person who created it
If it's very famous, search the internet
If none of it works, just write what you feel
Now, by taking this purpose as a reference, start asking "WHY" one by one for each item of the list that you created. Why this color was used, why this type, and so on. Start thinking, start writing.
Share it. This is a crucial step. You have to show others what you think, and ask their opinion on it. You would be blown away by the responses. Study their responses. This will help you, and the person who is responding, to grow even further.
Tag me. I am always excited to see what others are thinking and creating. I love that. My Instagram(@prakharmathur619)   twitter(@prakharmathur69)
I hope to see what you come up with.
Still Learning, still growing; let's grow together!
Thank you

THIS IS A REUPLOAD! I feel bad, because I feel I didn't explain the scope of this correctly. This is not for getting free art requests! I just wanted to do sort of design exercise to show people my process (and to have some sort of content on here so you're not bored of my rando photos!). I thought it would be more fun with participation, instead of choosing random criteria from myself. I apologize if it was not clear! I still have some criteria saved up for those who did just give me random bits to work from. Those who want me to do self-portraits or other characters, hit me up and I'll give you a quote! :) Here's the criteria again if you wanna go at it (feel free to think beyond reality too! XD): Ethnicity: Age range: Clothing style: Personality: #justforfun #art #designexercise #concept #drawing #design

Feel The Freedom
How can I describe it? Through me busting through this door? Through the rush of what’s going on in my head? Through My eyes peering out where I want to be? No. Watch me take off like that rocket on the poster. Then you’ll understand. Feel the wind as I sprint past you. Then you’ll know what I’m feeling. Can you feel it? Have you ever felt it before? Do you know the rush it gives all down your body when you finally let loose and let it all go? You can't describe it. You can't explain it. It’s freedom. Go live it.

. . . . . #duaspaginas #spread #editorial #editorialdesign #compositing #designeditorial #indesign #grid #typography #design #graphicdesign #pages #pagedesign #artwork #designexercise #magazinedesign #alltype #diseno #adobeindesign #designcomposition #paginas #revista #graphik #zine #print #zinedesign #designgrafico https://www.instagram.com/p/CCGovU7jpD_/?igshid=m9r4v4xq8ivs

Brief for assignment 2
Memories of Wait
Part 1: Documentation
Reflect on a significant 'wait' experience at the railways from your past. Document in writing the details of the experience, your perception of the wait, your response to it and the journey undertaken. Include important instances, coping mechanisms, environment around, fellow passengers etc. The documentation should be a minimum of 1000 words, with any other supporting material such as poems, visuals, pictures, if required.
Part 2: Representation
Imagine that there was to be a museum of waiting. Encapsulate your experience, as described above, in the medium of your choice for the same. It can be digital or physical, tangible or intangible, static or dynamic/interactive depicting the nature of your waiting experience and undertaken journey. The proposed piece could be a physical object, a digital experience, an installation, a soundscape, a photo essay, a graphic/ visualisation, a film/ animation, the works. Think of this as your personal contribution to the Museum of Wait.
