If you want to make one please feel free! I don't know what the good places to sell stickers are anymore but if someone has a suggestion for somewhere reputable, I'm happy to design one up myself and put it up. But yeah, if you're looking for permission to bootleg merch, go on ahead, just tag me in the photos :D

And you may be pleased to know that it's the pull-quote for the back of the book! The big header quote on the back is "Maybe punk isn't dead, it was just waiting for you to show up. Being soft when the world is hard is really punk, anyway."

(Also, I say this out of caution because it's an easy accident to make: if you do anything with the Shivadh flag design, make sure you're using the spiky six-pointed Chicago star and not the less-spiky but equally six-pointed Star of David. The Chicago star is canonically the Shivadh star; obvs. if you're Jewish it's fine to wear/carry the Magen David, but gentiles shouldn't, and keeping the Shivadh star canonical prevents that kind of issue.)

Gonna blorbo this up tbh. Adding a read below cuz i got carried away, but click it if you want to read about my gajeel and levy headcannons

Levy phone: basic case, plain color probably probably blue or yellow, basic design at most, she likes when she can easily match it to outfits. Her background used to be team shadowgear, but became Lily when she and Gajeel started dating (sg is still her lockscreen). She 100% fills in as much of everyone's contact details as she can, shes got middle names, work numbers, emails, shes got everything.

Gajeel phone: he does not use a case for a worringly long time until Levy gets him one as a gift and he refuses to take it off his phone. He has a picture of Lily and Levy cuddled up as his background. He has one saved contact, Levy, the rest are just messages with phone numbers, when he gets a new phone he loses his ability to text anyone until they text him. Also his phone is 100% cracked.

Levy laptop: She has a case on it that she put a few stickers on. All of her files are neatly sorted into specific folders. Her keyboard is covered in crumbs from snacking while she works.

Gajeel laptop: he doesn't have one, he has a desktop, its old and barely works, refuses to get a new one and says he won't get a new one til this one stops working as he MacGyvers a fix to its latest issue.

Levy backpack: She keeps it really neat and also it weighs like 20 pounds because she keeps so many books on it. Its a cute canvas bag and she absolutely adores it. She has a little tuxedo cat charm.

Gajeel backpack: falling apart, bought the cheapest backpack he could find and used it for years, the zipper opens all the time, theres a hole thats been patched up with duct tape. He chewed through the little buckle straps it came with when he was bored.

Levy car: old as shit, shes spent more money on repairs than it would cost to get a better car, but this is her car! She doesn't want to learn a new one! The ac doesn't work and one of the windows wont go up if you put it down, but its her car. Theres a layer of trash on the passenger seat floor and thirty half empty waterbottles tossed in the back seat to make room in her cup holder for a fun drink.

Gajeel car: surprisingly nice, definitely second hand and a little janky, but he keeps it clean and working comfortably. His main motivation is that he gets motion sick if he isn't driving, but he doesn't want to tell people that. So he figures if his car is just decent enough people will be willing to let him drive when they carpool.

i think we as a society need to use cell phones/laptops/cars/backpacks to flesh out characters

I’ve printed some of my Designs and they will be for sale on Depop within 7-14 days

INFO ON EVERYTHING:

Shirts will be $28 + Depop shipping (I make $8 profit. There is one of each shirt both women’s mediums

BUMPER sticker will be $8 no shipping cost ($3 of profit for me) there are TWO total

LAPTOP/WATERBOTTLE sticker will be $1.50 ($1 profit for me) and no shipping cost as well. There are TEN total

IF ALL GOES WELL then a. Prices for shirts will be lowered and B. More designs and stock of shirts will go up.

I list my profit on everything bc I want this to be a super transparent business (it’s literally not a business but okay) like I don’t want you guys to be scammed. The shirts cost me $20 a piece which is why there is limited stock. But like if I sell a lot of shirts I won’t need to make my profit so high so it’ll probably go down to $25 (shipping not included :(()

Okay so I didn’t get the chance to do a waterbottle design before my flights and that’s fine.

I’ll just spend time in the airport putting the regular stickers on my water bottle lol. I can’t put all of them on it though.

Definitely putting my Tav sticker on there. I’ll post it when I’m done. Still want to make an actual design for the water bottle once I get home.

I have an ikea cubby shelf that I've been stickering since college. I have a couple of stickers on my laptop, but having gone through and traded in laptops over the years, I've decided that really special ones do not go on electronics.

My spoils from Anime LA. It’s still going, but I decided one day was good enough for me. It’s a much smaller con than Anime Expo so I was able to look around all the artist alley and exhibitors within a few hours!

Besides that there might be a panel or two that I was interested in, but it’s a bit too long to travel for me, so I am okey with not going anymore.

As you can see. I am in my sticker era again (Last being when I was in 8th grade). Much OP, Ghibli, and some Pokemon sprinkled in. I tried not to spend that much money, but all of these were still pretty expensive. 🥲

Right here there’s also some original artwork that I enjoyed by @curoie and @47ness on Instagram!

Anime LA is also apparently called Ribbon Con as well? I knew that ribbons were a thing at some cons, but I didn’t realize the whole culture that’s come from it! (There were people with literal boxes of ribbons that seemed to have gone there just for the trading). I was only there one day and I was swept up by it haha.

The ones actually attached to my badge were from a stamp rally I was doing so I could interact a bit at the con!

Over all I had fun, and if it was closer I would try and go more days, but this was good enough for me over all!

Will definitely go next year to enjoy again!

Happy October!

It’s the first day of October and new eco-friendly Fall stickers are here — Fall is my Favorite (it really is!) and a speckled mug of Pumpkin Spice Latte (because pumpkins make everything better, am I right?). I’ve never done this before so here we go! It’s so confusing being a queer and non binary/trans teen that’s uncomfortable with their body because any kind of stimulation ends up making me overwhelmed and uncomfortable and spirals into me questioning my queer identity entirely! I want to prove to myself I’m queer and do what all my peers are doing... but it always makes me feel a little ashamed and just upset. Any advice at all would be so kind thank you so much! -🍊

Hi there dirtling, I'm sorry I didn't answer this when it came in, it's been a hectic few days.

The first thing that I want to say to you is that you do not need to look or act a certain way to be queer. If you identify as queer/LGBT+, you are inherently queer. However, I totally get wanting to show your identity in the way that you present, so let's brainstorm.

You raise an interesting point with sensory overload and becoming overstimulated. I can totally understand how cutting/dying your hair, wearing jewelry, etc might be too much for you. The great news is that there are tons of queer people out there that struggle with similar things, and I'm hoping that some of them will see this and chime in. I will admit that while I do have sensory processing issues, they aren't the same as yours, and so I apologize if any of my suggestions won't work for you.

I think that one easy and relatively cheap way for you to show your identity would be a pin with a pride flag and/or pronouns. I suggest a pin because you can put it on your backpack, coat, or jacket, where it might be less bothersome to you.

I generally try to steer clear from Amazon and support independent artists on Etsy, but Etsy pins tend to be $4-5 dollars more expensive and I totally understand that people have limited funds. I also like Etsy because of its huge variety, which is why I just included links to the searches "trans/non binary/pronoun pin" rather than linking to individual ones.

If you wear socks everyday anyway, those could also be great ways to incorporate pride flags into your look, even though/especially if you're looking for something under the radar.

You can also get prints on tons and tons of different items on RedBubble. If you have specific t shirt needs, then you can still get a ton of designs on stickers for your waterbottle/laptop/etc, phone cases, masks, mugs, hats, pins, travel mugs, and so so much more.

I usually try to give people options that are low/no cost, and I do recognize that all of the things that I've suggested do require money which can be hard especially if you're not financially independent/have a supportive family. If I can come up with other inexpensive options I'll reblog this with an update.

Finally, I'll invite anyone else to share strategies that they've found, especially ones that might be good for someone who gets overstimulated quickly.
