#stephanie brown#damian wayne#dick grayson#fav trio i say as i draw them not even interacting sdfgh#this was also an excuse to use Dan Mora's Steph Future State hair/scar design as inspo again xD and using Mora's Robin shoes from WF!#Dick was resolute about his Robin uniform so Damian compromised by having him wear elbow/knee pads LOL#tried doing laceup thigh highs for Damian’s batsuit but it looked off 😭 also considered using the Red Hood suit from B&R09 but too silly...#tbh i rarely have interest in reverse robins AUs unless Damian's featured and tries to be a good big bro 😭#batbabyart

it's truly the tried and tested Doctor Who formula for a showrunner to say "yep we're doing a soft reboot of the show! this is a great opportunity for new viewers to jump on board!" and then immediately pivoting to lore heavy additions and continuing 60 year old character arcs and pulling random plots from obscure 90s novels.

learned something about myself lately
#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just#really like tails and wish i had one myself#and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails#my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly#something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me..#maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent#so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design#head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later#if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl#when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount#yapping

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#lan xichen#lan wangji#madam lan#This normally would have been two separate comics but I felt like it was a far better joke to have them together.#Enjoy the rare double feature comic!#I was listening to this episode - scripting out and preparing for a longer and heartfelt comic on this scene.#And then Lan Xichen pulled out his flute and started playing unprompted.#I could not contain my laughter. I know it is trying to be emotionally resonate and the flute is pretty but...#It really does have the energy of “Okay thanks for listening to my tragedies and traumas. I don't know how to segue out of this.”#This madam lan design is inspired by Qourmet's design! Really good stuff that I was not able to do more with in this one panel.#Speaking of...I know it is ambiguous on purpose and we are only told what happened through LXC's POV but...#I always interpreted madam lan's passing as a suicide. I think LXC was told it was illness to soften the blow.#She was stuck in a house with maybe a servant coming by to give her food. One day a month she saw her children.#Of course she was warm and loving in their memories-#She was trying to give them a version of her that would be remembered as such. She wanted to protect them from the truth.#She did her best but she was already dead a long time ago. She must have felt like a ghost haunting a house.#Love to her was waiting. And both her boys inherited that view of love.

#ask reply#THIS IS high praise btw im super flattered 💜💜#I actually love her look too#of course I tried to match the popular fan look of her#but with my own little twists#I actually based her heavily off of ‘Cassie’#cause I think Cassie’s name is a clear reference to Cassidy#so I wanted their designs to be similar but opposite#so they both have twin tails Cassidy has em high and Cassie has em low#Cassidy sweater is less poofy as Cassie’s#Cassie is more happy smiley and Cassidy has more of a scowl#my favourite design quirk is her ghostly hair#just the way it’s always floating upwards so so cool#designing the ghost kids with their own unique features like this is so cool#been having a blast with it!#hopefully I’ll draw the rest of the ghost kids soon 💜

#I found out dr. kuras is 6'6 I said hold on lemme get a stool so I can climb this man#touchstarved#touchstarved game#touchstarved kuras#kuras#sleepyscribble#oc.emma#my mc is meant to be a self insert but also like. I wanted to come up w a design and character arc and everything jkvkvk#so I ended up basing her on my personality/looks but taking her into a direction that would fit the game#she's like. me but 'characterized' and a bit exaggerated for the sake of being a character yk#the way she turned out is that she's basically a friendly happy go lucky mage who laughs at her own misery but hides#a deep layer of self loathing underneath all that bc of her curse#having been cursed all her life she believes she's a monster and the sunny personality is a way for her to 'make up for it'#but at the same time she feels like a farse. like she's only luring ppl in to an inevitable demise#and she thinks she's selfish bc despite knowing the danger she poses she still goes out there and puts herself among ppl#bc she craves human connection. even tho she feels guilty for 'indulging' in it#anyway I love the cursed mc concept in this game <3 it's been really interesting to think abt how that would affect someone#also I kept her physical features looking pretty much like mine#bc I wanted to draw myself in a cute way. teehee#but the clothing I was basically thinking like. early game simple clothing that she didn't rlly pick for herself#and maybe later I can have an updated design w something she would actually pick for herself
