Desert mountains for endurance 60 70 80

Three dimensional scene for today based on rally, desert and a little of videogame Sega Rally for game console Sega Saturn. More like a low poly graphics for racing. About desert. Rally type. Fun to make a one more circle, as I remember, in Sega Rally for my Saturn white color. And game has a few of tracks and cars. But it plays as a cool arcade. To have a free time and to race.

And this is my three dimensional scene. It result as more simple then I expect. But it can be like this. Stretched textures. And low of details. But idea of racing about a sands it has here. And even it can be rather fun.

So, ahead it is sun and sand. Amongst the mountains. Narrow turns. And all the time you can run into mountain. But here it is not scary – anyway it is arcade racing. You just stop at the corner and lost of speed. And that’s all. So just race ahead. To crawl though desert mountain road. Winding road.

Road ahead – it is very winding. And this is a race for endurance. Sun it is very strong here. And it is very hot here. And nothing more except sand and mountains. Go accurate and keep to have a certain speed. To move fast – it is dangerous. And a slow move – it is also not an option.

And, more, it is retro. 60s, 70s, 80s. Full retro movement. Retro rally in deserts. Cinema camera is with sand. And resolution is maximum with 1024. True. Widescreen. As some old movies. That is very wide view.  And lots of white. And sand. Sand and sun. Sun and sand.

Arthouse sand and desert. Everything white. And to race long long ahead. And it is good to add a little of noise to add for graphics, for sometimes effect. Not like Silent Hill 2. But also a little of noise effect for sometimes.

Ahead it is a miles of sands under the sun!

In less than 24 hours, the first big motorsports event of the year starts, the Rally Dakar 2024. And with it, the new season of the FIA W2RC.

This year, it might get interesting with a few new things, compared to last year. First, there is the 48 hour stage, that is basically a extremely long stage with four night camps on the route, and the drivers have to stop at the next camp, after a specific time, to rest for the night. In the morning they'll have to continue the race from there and the time will continue to run. There won't be any service from their crew at night. It's basically the evolution of the marathon stage.

Nasser Al-Attiyah will be driving one of the Prodrive Hunter this year and is now a teammate of Sebastien Loeb. Which means one of the best rally pilots ever and one of the best rally raid pilots ever are now driving for the same team. It will be interesting to see who'll be the better one, but my prediction is Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Nasser's seat in the Toyota Hilux now goes to Seth Quintero from the USA. He was one of the top drivers, in the last two years, in the T3 category for lightweight prototypes. I think he is a good addition to the team and will make a good job. If he will be racing for the win in his first T1+ year is hard to answer, but I'd give him a year, instead of thinking he can win this year.

Will Audi finally be able to demonstrate that a electric car can win the Dakar? The car is definitely fast enough, and also the drivers are, especially with Stephane Peterhansel and Carlos Sainz. But what about the reliability? That was the big weakness in the last two years, maybe they will finally have a Dakar without too many problems. If yes, they will probably win.

Joan Barreda Bort is now driving for Hero. Will he finally win his first Dakar, or will he once again, lose it because of one of his many mistakes and crashes? He is fast enough for the win, he just needs to reduce his mistakes and maybe take a bit less risk.

Or will the win go back to KTM, after Honda won last year? The bike category will be as interesting as never before, at least if you take the last 20 years.

The truck category will get very unpredictable again. The second year without Kamaz and the third year without MAZ means that the Iveco of the DeRooy team and the czech MM Technology Iveco, driven by Martin Maczik, will be the big favorites. But Ales Loprais is always good for a surprise with his Praga.

WRC6 – summer and countryside roads

So, I opened for myself something new in world of videogames. It is rally theme. Rally simulation. Videogame WRC 6. It is first such kind game for my computer. More or less, it is modern. Well, it is more modern than Need for speed 2 or Colin Mc Rae Rally 2,3. In this terms, it is more modern. So, it is a first attempt into such a serious rally simulation. With exciting graphics. You know, I take for my pc a video card, for this case, as I can say!

Somewhere, already, in autumn 2024 I start to ride. Graphics makes impressions on me at once, big impression. Such games – I do not see before! Well, it is, even, not most last game in series. Now, I have in my collection a more modern parts from WRC. But, I do not launch them. Mainly, part six goes good for me. I like it! Cool racing. Well, what to say more, it is a very exciting racing game. It is ok for recommendation, as I can say!

You can to play there a quick race. And, at once, you have a lots of track to select from. For your selection some sport teams, automobile teams. Automobile and a team are connected there, and there are lots of them. I make a notice, that all the rally cars looks the same, and they are something like a car Beatle. Well, I am not good in cars. So, I play for the first time. Anyway, it is, so, good, that there are so lots of tracks to select. You can select different parts of the track. So, it is rally. And, this means, all the world. And winter, and desert. And such countries like Argentina you can see. And there is a track in China. Well, it is not bad. I like this track. And winter track exists, lots of them. Cool exciting rally in Monte-Carlo. First impressions!

Lots of racing track for summer. Most best time for me – it is summer! And, in such tracks, I play more. So, I do not remember names of the tracks. But, I like summer. Best time. For me it is like a road to countryside. Sit and go to the countryside. Countryside road. Forest. Field. Grass. Bushes. Trees. Maybe, hills. Or mountains. Sometimes. Sometimes something like a villages. So, beautiful views are very beautiful in game. They are so summer! So, I want, already, to go to countryside! Amongst the middle of autumn or winter, so, I pack myself virtually to go to the countryside. Summer, summer! Even in rally it is best thing, and a thing, that makes a biggest impression at first seconds! I like summer! And summer rides are here. Well, it is ok, that they are virtual, and summer!

And, also, there is here a option to select a weather. It is, also, a theme. For variations. Night, for example. You can see very few. And for rally it is a remarkable things – as for a countryside road. Raw change of turns directions to some place. And all these turns here and there all the time. And low of visibility. Track, maybe, same as day. But, you see it different and perception is different.  There is another modes day and night. Clouds, and rain. Dawn, dusk. There are some variations.

Well, when you start it for the first time, then you think that huge number of tracks here! And this is true. And every track has a sub tracks. Different parts of big track. So, a lot! So, you can think, that they never repats! You try this track, and later next one! Just wow! How cool is it all!

So, saying short, I, most of time, spent in quick race. So, you know, just to have a relax in a weekend. I launch it. Ride a little. And go next with a joy. For positive. First rides, I get as a countryside road, with a deserted road. And, all around, field and summer. Or forest. Very similar. Well, I say, it is exactly this - summer!

Later, there is a carrier mode. So, here you need to be more serious. There is damage to the car. You need to watch for this. And repair when you have a possibility. And, so, it is ride. And, it has a several racings tracks. And, here it is a good to see what is your position. So, well, I have never played game like this before. And, I as a first time, I ride very slowly. So, most of time, I was the last one! But, well, for last time, I notice, that I start to be faster. And I, already, get this idea of rally – fast turns. So, this thing you need to learn. How with a speed to get into turns, How different they can be. To watch the tips. At the top of the screen - there are signals going. For example, simple turn to the left, or raw turn to the right, for example.  Well, once, I win a rally. Australia. My first place for the first time! I will remember this for all my life!

So, mainly, rally makes you feel little positive. So, to have a ride. And carrier mode it is, already, more serious way to take harder a gamepad with your hands. I set it a view from a wheels. And with a carefully way to see the track. Not taking a risk. At first. Later, more brave way to drive. Well, of course, you can do a restart. But I do this only few times. So, I ride – as I ride, it goes as it goes.

There are here different views. From a back view of the car, something like, third person view. Two variations. Similar. And view from a wheel. And view from a hood.  And, yes, view from a cabin - it is like you are in a tank. You can see a turning driving wheel, Yes. And a glass. But, well, someway, a view distance going to be low very dramatically, as from a tin, like you are in a tin and take a place there and it is dark. And sun goes straight into your eyes. Realism! But, harder. I set this view only several times. So, mainly, I ride with third person view, when a single race. Or hood view or wheel view, when carrier.

Most first impression is most right one, as someone can to say. It is countryside and a summer! Summer views! Well, another places like a desert and winter, there are enough of them too. There are variations! And, so, little cars for not a rally expert, they are all looks similar. They, only, has a different labels. And there are lots of labels on the cars. About this point - they all are different. Well, looks like, they are different behavior on the riad.  Someone is raw, someone is calm about control. There are some sub forms of rally. Junior, Wrc 2 type. But, I am not big about this. There are lots of cars! It is a racing teams. As I get it. So, well, I am not going about this. Because of, I see these for the first time!

I play with gamepad. With such Xbox type gamepad. I have a cool gamepad, which I have for along time. And, 2024 year, I start to use it. So, in a rally. It is going good. Speedlink Xeox. Cool thing. I ride with this. It goes good. Gamepad is shaking when it is required. And control is ok. It plays good! I think, that it is allright to play with keyboard too. Or with using a driving wheel. I think, also. But, I am about a gamepad!
