When Chloe finds out that Red's name isn't just Red, she'll probably want to know Red's full name.

And Red, having a huge hatred for her name, especially her first one (explained in this post), will refuse to talk about it. And okay, Chloe doesn't insist for long, and this matter is forgotten.

Until one day, in one of those late-night talks with Chloe — she had another nightmare about Bridget, her old mother — she lets slip that her first name is "Redell", and that she hates her full name.

"Princess Redell-Amargo Ericka Hearts I", and she explains how she had one of her first big fights with her mother because of it, which resulted in the entire court, the soldiers, the servants, everyone, starting to call her Red.

I don't spose you can know the reason behind a clandestine marriage, especially almost 300 years after the fact, but here look at this one anyway

duckduckgo says it's a brand new 2020's thing, and my 1970s dictionary goes bis->biscuit, but google books gives a 1745 recipe book that has Raspberry Biscakes in!

I was thinking about the stained glass paintings of the Descendants universe (for reasons), and... Cotillion. There is a stained glass picture of Cinderella and Prince Charming... It's not the easiest to spot as its on the lower floor, but its behind Belle and Beast.

So, either racism exits in Descendants at the highest level possible, there are multiple Cinderella's (which tbh would be very entertaining XD Imagine Brandi's Cinderella, the animated Cinderella, and Lily James Cinderella all just sitting down and having tea while talking about their days. no i'm totally not having a fic idea of the three meeting up like a multiverse thing *cough*), OR Rise of Red is on a completely different timeline/universe (multiverse anyone?)

(no but tbh the multiverse theory is my favorite for the absolute chaos it could bring. Have one of the characters, a Wonderland kid probably, be someone who can walk through the universes. Maybe team up with a demigod.)

the kyoshi flashback in Avatar Day and the sheer scale of ba sing se in comparison to…. literally everywhere else in the world really has me thinking about the politics that lead to such distinct “nations”. it makes way more sense for a land as vast as the earth kingdom to have once been earth kingdoms with local land disputes between feudal lords - as we see with the conflict kyoshi ended - only for a world-spanning war to have driven first the lords to unite under ba sing se’s banner for protection, and then as the war continued, increasing waves and waves of refugees and oma shu standing as the only remaining hold out due to their unique position (top of a mountain - most other earth kingdom towns we see are in valleys) such would explain how many ruins and ghost towns we see throughout s2 but also the improbability of a land that big to be unified under a single leader for that long

I do think that it's incredibly telling that in Blood of Eden, Jackal is the most monstrous/vampire-y vampire of the Found Family, and he was the only one of them to die as a direct result of human brutality. I feel like that is an experience that alienates him from everyone else more than anyone gives it credit for.

For Harry, a "Cosmopolitan." Because it's vodka so it will get you drunk faster, it's red, and it also started to get popular because of the "sex and the city" show. Also it's a cocktail, so overall I feel like the whole drink seems like Harry's vibe.

For Uma, a "Dark 'n Stormy." For one it has a really cool name. Also it's a rum cocktail and started out as a sailor drink, so yeah, it's giving Uma.
