Jukebox January Day 4

(yes, I'm joining on the 4th day, don't judge; also I probably won't have the brain capacity to do this every day but it seems like a lot of fun, so i'll just do it whenever I feel like it ^^)

Day 4: songs starting with D

Diving Bell by Starset - a song that lives rent-free in my head and probably the reason why I love ocean metaphors so much; "in my mind endless sea / calling from the bottom but you don't hear me" is such an incredible line, dustin bates pls give me your brain (and your voice while we're at it)

Demoni by Joker Out - wow, a song by joker out, what a surprise! I could replay this song for hours and not get tired of it, now that we finally have the version with bojan's scream on spotify it got even better and I love the bass and drums so much

Dying is Absolutely Safe by Architects - just beautiful, the perfect song to lie on my bed and dissociate to; "beloved distant blue, one day I'll die for you / and swim in sweet serenity 'cause death is not my enemy"

Deathbeds by Bring Me The Horizon - another lie-in-bed-and-dissociate-song, especially the "the waves will pull us under / tides will bring me back to you"-part (and I was trying not to choose multiple songs by the same artist, but Doomed also belongs here, especially the Royal Albert Hall version)

Demons by Hailey Kiyoko - this just slaps, I don't know what she put in this song but I love it, perfect for late-night dance sessions in the bathroom

Davy Jones by Hans Zimmer - I had to include a film soundtrack somewhere and the melody in this one gets me every time, the way it builds up and returns to the haunting melody from the beginning at the end - chills

I think Bojan slays in every colour, but my personal favourite is his dark blue suit in the Demoni mv, he absolutely rocks that one! He can also wear pink and white very well, though I hope this helps a bit XD ^^
