Does your character have a QPP? If so, who are they and what does that relationship look like for them? If not, is this something your character wants in the future?

thinking about it alex has quite the track record for getting involved with his "best friends". i mean first liam in high school, nora on the campaign trail, then initially pretending to be henry's best friend. so maybe zahra should have been more careful or realized what might happen when she told alex "so henry is your new best friend" given that he's been involved with his two most recent ones

ok so like. the thing. about Eddie and Shannon's relationship. is that Shannon knew Eddie. Their relationship was built on the foundation of them growing up together and so there were some things Eddie just couldn't hide from her. That is why they (in comparison to Eddie's other relationships) sort of worked out. Eddie technically made the same mistakes he later made with Ana and Marisol - he had trouble figuring out the intersection between his personal feelings and what's good for Christopher, he avoided emotional intimacy by pivoting to physical intimacy to make up for it, and he overcommitted in moments of doubt (marriage 2.0 / moving in). Shannon only 'wins' because she had a head-start.

and there is something deeply tragic about all of this because Eddie keeps looking for magic - he's trying to capture what he and Shannon had with someone else, but that's impossible because he's never getting to know them in the same way (and because he's romanticising/misremembering what he and Shannon actually were like as a couple).
