Ok, ok, I hope you don't mind another. Your writing is just amazing and the way you write the characters is just PERFECTION!!
I've had this one idea floating around and I'm itching to share it!
A girl ends up in Volterra after deciding to go on a solo trip. She's mated to either Alec or Demetri or maybe even Felix(I'm open!) BUT the twist is this: she is Aro's great(however far down the line) niece. I'm thinking something about her triggers his memories of his human family(I know Marcus was with his sister but I'm thinking one sibling survived and stayed human).
I'd love for her to be a bookwormish type of girl again, maybe she traveled there to see the historic sites or something and ends up being pulled into something supernatural!
I hope this makes sense! I appreciate all you've done so far! 😭😭😭
Hey hey!! I’m so sorry for the long wait I got super busy with exams, Valentine’s Day, and some family things. Hopefully, this chapter meets your expectations! As a history student, I really enjoyed writing the historical elements hehe. :) I focused mostly on Aro and his long-lost niece because I loved the concept and wanted to establish it properly, but I’m totally open to doing a part two where I explore the romance between the reader and their chosen character. That’s all from me for now and thank you so much for requesting, as always! <3<3
The cobbled streets of Volterra were everything she had dreamed of. Ancient, winding, whispering with the ghosts of the past. Ivy clung to weathered stone, the scent of fresh bread and aged parchment drifted from open-air cafés, and the warm Tuscan sun bathed the city in gold. She adjusted her glasses, brushing a stray curl from her face as she studied the guidebook in her hands. She had spent years dreaming about this solo trip, pouring over history books, sketching maps in the margins of her notebooks. It was an escape and an indulgence in everything she loved. History. Literature. The stories that old places told if one only listened closely enough. And Volterra, one of Italy’s most ancient cities, promised plenty of stories. The city was steeped in history, dating back to the Etruscans. She had always found herself drawn to ruins, to places where the past lingered in the air. This was her chance to walk in the footsteps of scholars and poets, of conquerors and commoners, of those long forgotten yet eternally present in the walls that surrounded her. She had spent the morning exploring the Museo Etrusco Guarnacci, marveling at the funerary urns and their intricately carved lids depicting figures frozen in time.
Now, she wandered aimlessly, allowing the city to guide her. What she never imagined was stepping into a story of her own. The feeling started subtly at first – a prickle on the back of her neck, the uncanny sensation of being watched. She dismissed it as the natural unease of being alone in a foreign place, but the weight of unseen eyes never left her. She glanced over her shoulder more than once, but the bustling streets carried only tourists and locals, none of whom paid her any special attention. Still, the feeling persisted. She chalked it up to paranoia. Or maybe jet lag. She had barely slept the night before, too giddy with excitement. That, combined with the heavy heat, was bound to play tricks on her mind. Her feet led her through the Piazza dei Priori, the heart of the city. She let her fingers trail along the cool stone of an archway, pausing before an iron-wrought gate leading into what she assumed was an administrative building. The emblem above it was an ornate crest that drew her in, the design strangely familiar in a way she couldn’t place. She turned away, intending to continue her exploration, when she collided with something, or rather someone, solid. A chill raced down her spine. The man before her was unnaturally still, his crimson eyes locked onto hers with an intensity that made her breath hitch. He was tall, statuesque, with dark hair and an aristocratic air that made him seem like he had stepped out of a Renaissance painting. “I- ” she began, but the man tilted his head, lips curving in a way that sent every nerve in her body on high alert. “Interesting,” he murmured, his voice a low purr. “You have quite the resemblance to someone.” As he spoke she could feel it – some tether snapping into place, something irrevocable settling in the marrow of her bones. His gaze darkened, nostrils flaring as if drinking in her very essence. She didn’t understand the weight of the moment, but he did. “You should come with me,” he said, voice gentle, but there was no mistaking it for anything but a command. She took a step back. “Excuse me?” Before she could blink, another figure materialized beside the first, this one even more regal, draped in flowing black robes. His skin was translucent, his long fingers steepled in thought as he studied her. “Aro,” the first man murmured, as though she were an offering presented before a king. The second man, Aro, gazed at her in silence. Then as if compelled he reached for her hand. She jerked back on instinct, but something in the way his expression flickered made her pause. “You…” Aro whispered, his voice barely audible. His crimson eyes burned with something she couldn’t name. “I know you.” A cold dread settled in her stomach. “That’s impossible.” Aro’s lips curled into a knowing smile, and in that moment, she knew her fate had already been sealed. She had come to Volterra to touch history. She hadn’t expected history to touch back.
______________________________________________________________
In the hours that followed, she found herself swept away and led through a labyrinth of hidden corridors beneath Volterra. The walls dripped with age and the air was thick with something ancient, something beyond time. She should have been afraid, should have been struggling, screaming, demanding an explanation but instead, she walked in silence, her mind whirring. They finally arrived at a vast chamber where two more men were waiting. The silence in the chamber was suffocating. Aro stood before her, fingers still tingling from the momentary contact with her skin. His expression remained unreadable, though a storm brewed behind his red eyes. He turned slightly, exchanging a glance with Marcus and Caius, who observed the scene with varying degrees of interest. “My dear,” Aro’s voice was soft, almost reverent. “Do you have any idea who you are?” The question sent a shiver through her. “I’m just… me,” she answered hesitantly. “I came here for a vacation, to see the historical sites.” Aro let out a low chuckle, one that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Ah, fate is truly a fascinating thing.” He stepped closer, tilting his head. “You are more than a tourist. You carry the blood of my family, the last thread to a past long buried.” She shook her head, heart hammering. “That’s not possible.” “Oh, but it is.” His voice was velvet and as he circled her his robes whispered against the marble floor. “Centuries ago, before I chose this life, before immortality, I had a family. A sister.” His eyes darkened. “She did not join me on this path. She remained human. And her bloodline, it seems, has endured the test of time.” The words hit her like a blow. Aro, this ancient, powerful being was claiming her as kin. “You are my descendant, my blood,” he murmured, eyes gleaming. “How extraordinary.” The weight of his words sank in, a dizzying sensation overtaking her. Her entire reality had shifted in an instant. She wasn’t just another tourist. She wasn’t just a visitor admiring Volterra’s beauty. She was tied to something far older, far darker than she had ever imagined. She swallowed hard, the lump in her throat making it difficult to breathe. This had to be a mistake. “I don’t-” She struggled to form the words, to make sense of the impossible. “I don’t understand. How can you be sure?” Aro’s lips curled into something resembling a smile, but there was something almost wistful in his expression. “My dear, I have seen many things in my years but there are certain truths one does not question.” He lifted a pale hand, as if tempted to touch her again but refrained. “When I took your hand, I saw pieces of the past, fragments of what once was. The resemblance alone is uncanny, but the blood… it does not lie.” Marcus, who had been watching in silence, shifted slightly in his throne. His expression was unreadable, yet his eyes bore into her with a depth that made her uneasy. “It has been a long time since Aro has spoken of his human ties,” his voice barely above a whisper. “This is… unexpected.” Caius, on the other hand, did not look as pleased. His lips curled in distaste, his crimson gaze sharp with suspicion. “Blood does not always make one family,” he murmured barely sparing her a glance. “What does it matter? She is human. Fragile.” Aro didn’t seem perturbed by his Caius' dismissiveness. Instead, he clasped his hands together, his eyes still locked onto her. “Oh, but this changes everything, dear Caius. She is the last of my mortal lineage. A thread connecting me to the past I had thought lost forever.” His voice filled with admiration, and it made her stomach twist. The sheer gravity of the situation was suffocating.
This morning, she had been an ordinary traveller exploring the streets of an ancient city, marvelling at its history. Now, she was standing in the heart of something far older, something secret and dangerous. “I- I don’t know what you want from me,” she admitted, voice unsteady. “I’m not… I’m not special.” Aro chuckled, shaking his head as if the very idea amused him. “Oh, but you are, dear one. You are proof that my past did not die with my humanity. You are a living remnant of a life I thought lost to the sands of time.” His gaze softened, something almost warm flickering in his ancient eyes. “And I would see you protected.” Protected. The word rang in her ears like a warning. Her fingers curled into fists at her sides. “Protected,” she echoed warily. “From what?” Aro exchanged a glance with Marcus before answering. “From the world, my dear. And from those who might seek to exploit what you are.” A chill ran down her spine. “And what exactly am I?” Aro stepped closer, his presence both commanding and unnerving. “You are my kin,” he said simply. “And that is not a thing I take lightly.” She searched his face for any sign of deception, for some hint of ulterior motive, but all she found was certainty. Whatever this was, whatever he saw in her, he truly believed it. And that terrified her. Alec and Felix, who had been standing in silent observation after entering the chamber, finally moved. Alec’s curious gaze lingered on her. Felix, on the other hand, exhaled sharply and smirked. “So, what now?” he asked, his deep voice breaking the tension. “Do we add ‘long-lost niece’ to the official Volterra records?” Caius scoffed. “This is a distraction.” Aro only smiled, clearly unfazed by his displeasure. “This is an opportunity,” he corrected smoothly. Then, turning his full attention back to her he gestured toward the grand chamber. “You must be exhausted, my dear. We have much to discuss, but you will need time to process all you have learned.” She hesitated. Was that an order or a suggestion? Her body screamed for rest, for a moment to breathe and process the sheer impossibility of what had happened. But the logical part of her mind, the part that still clung to reason, knew she wasn’t leaving. Not yet. Maybe not ever. With a deep breath, she nodded. “I… I think I need to sit down.” Aro’s smile widened, his crimson gaze gleaming with something unreadable. “Then allow me to extend my hospitality, dear one. You are, after all, family.” And as the doors to the chamber closed behind her, she knew with unsettling certainty that her life would never be the same again.

from here on until forever - Demetri Volturi
Demetri Volturi was the first ever guy I had a serious fictional crush on on, like it was bad there were so many scenarios I created in my head but there was one that repeated in my head like a never ending movie
And I'm going to write it now
a timeline through the movies like key moments from each film (that obviously features him and my own plot) and the relationship is slowly going to build from there.
And I plan on posting it in parts so New Moon is part 1.
Character:
Name: Evangeline Swan (picture her as you want)
Sister: Bella Swan
status: human (will be changed)
Vampiric ability : seismic sense (later on)
Mate: Demetri Volturi
word count: 3.7k
and obviously all credit to the author of The Twilight Saga and everyone involved in the process of the movies.
___________________________________________________________
New Moon : The Start of Forever
You were sat in the yellow sports car which Alice Cullen had hijacked and was operating with dangerous speed towards the city of Volterra, Italy, where you knew nothing good was going to expect you when you arrived.
Lush green fields of grass and trees could be seen in your peripheral vision, there was something so scarily calming about it. But of course, Bella was too busy bouncing nervously in the passenger seat to admire the scenery, holding onto the dashboard harshly "I'm guessing you didn't rent his car?" she asked Alice.
You snickered quietly.
of course she didn't
"I figured you wouldn't be opposed to grand theft auto" Alice replied swiftly, briefly glancing over at Bella, who was beginning to look a little nauseous from the curves and pot holes in the road, "Not today" Bella rushed out.
Suddenly, you noticed Alice's eyes begin to glaze over and your curiosity was engaged, she was having a premonition.
Bella caught wind immediately.
"What? What do you see?" Bella asked her vampiric friend, a small hint of anxiety in her voice as she slowly feared for the worst and she had a bad feeling her vampire boyfriend had set some sort of plan in motion.
"Alice, are you okay?" you asked her, speaking up for the first time in a while.
Alice brushed you off, "They refused him" Alice said, narrowing her eyes in concern.
"Sooo" Bella pushed.
"He's going to make a scene, show himself to the humans" Alice said, glancing at both you and Bella
"that can't end well" you mumbled, meeting Alice's eyes in the mirror and having your thought confirmed as Alice nodded her head in agreement whilst keeping a steady eye on the prevailing road conditions ahead, steering the wheel smoothly and precisely.
"No.. when?!" Bella's voice was sharp with angst.
"He's going to wait until noon, when the sun is at it's highest" Alice let out a small gasp as her vision came to an end, making you think that she saw something upsetting.
You may not have liked Edward for all the shit he put Bella through, but you weren't the kind of person who would wish suffering on anyone.
"God Alice, you gotta hurry"
"There's Volterra"
___________________________________________________________
Bella rushed off to save her boyfriend through the sea of red coats, as per the tradition of St. Marcus day, celebrating the expulsion of vampires. You however, stayed with Alice and looked for a spot to leave the stolen vehicle.
Alice turned to look at you seriously as she covered every inch of her exposed skin, which was mostly her face, "Evangeline I want you to listen carefully to me, when we get to the castle do not do anything to attract attention" she said, looking you straight in the eyes.
you nodded wordlessly, worry growing within you as you sat still in the backseat of the car and feeling it come to a halt just behind the massive castle where the Volturi resided.
You weren't going to question her, you were about to step into the layer of vampires and you wanted to do everything in your powers to come out alive.
"Come on, let's go" she said and climbed out of the car, prompting you do the same and following behind her as she navigated through the areas covered with shade.
Time felt like it passes too fast as you were suddenly in front of a door with a very old and wooden looking latch "remember what I said" Alice said suddenly before breaking the latch and opening the door, stepping inside and you following right on her tail.
"Come guys, its a festival, you wouldn't want to cause a scene" Alice said smugly, whilst you awkwardly tried to close the door behind you but giving up after 2 seconds when the stupid thing did not want to listen.
Suddenly, your movement froze and you felt like the small hair on your skin was beginning to dance on the back of your neck, making an intense shiver run down your spine before spreading all over your body like a tsunami devouring anything in its way.
You looked up to find the source of this sensation, skipping over the beautiful old and italien structure when your eyes finally settled on a blonde man, dressed from head to toe in black. What actually caught your attention was his blood red eyes and how hauntingly captivating they were, even more as they met yours.
"Enough" a set of footsteps could be heard clacking on the ground and you watched as a young girl approach, pulling her hood from her head.
"Jane" Edward said quietly, acknowledging her presence.
As Edward's voice registered in your brain, you snapped your eyes away from the beautiful blonde individual and averted them to the ground, a small blush growing on your face in the process.
"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long" the girl, Jane, said and looked over Bella and you with bright and bloody eyes, not as beautiful or inviting as the other ones, before she turned around and began walking back to where she came from.
"Just do what she says" Alice whispered to you as you began to walk alongside her, your breath hitching in your throat as you walked past the blond vampire again, even more so when he started walking next to you.
Your heart was having a personal fiesta in your chest, the pace it was pumping at made you think you were about to fall to the floor from cardiac arrest, and it was all because of him.
Butterflies grew rampantly fast in your stomach, your fingers trembled as almost irresistible itch to just "accidentally" touch them to his was difficult to shove aside and your entire body felt like it was coming alive
And no words had even been exchanged yet.
After an elevator ride with a charged atmosphere, you found yourself walking down stone made stairs, the staircase being dimly lit by the light just outside the door.
You tuned out the small conversation Edward and Bella shared, choosing to primarily focus on not tripping and making a horrible first impression on the beautiful you may or may not already have a crush on.
You felt your neves growing as the more you felt like you approaching the belly of the beast that were the 3 king of the Volturi, especially since Alice told you the stories of what happens those who are exposed to the world of vampires of if you betray it.
The receptionist greeting you as you walked out had you snapped out of your thoughts and your eyes, on their own accord, flittered back to the breathtaking individual who walked beside you.
But the off-putting thought? she was human.
"is she human?" bella asked not-so-quietly, looking at Edward in his fancy red robe which you thought looked ridiculous on him.
"Yes"
"Does she know?"
"yes"
"Then why would-" Bella cut herself as realization dawned on her, "she wants to be".
"And so she will be" a shiver went down your spine as you heard him speak for the very first time, and it made your heart palpate faster. His voice was the right amount of deep and adorned with an english accent, making him all the more enticing.
You felt like there was an invisible cord pulling you with a prepostourley strong force towards him, and the more you tried to heed Alice's warnings about the Volturi, you find yourself beginning to lean more and more in the opposite direction.
Suddenly, a hand snaked its way across your back and settled itself on your waist, tracing small and delicate circles on whatever exposed skin was accessible to him. Almost as if to assure that you won't be hurt as long as he was there.
And the surprising part? you felt safe with him.
"Or dessert" Jane said and you found yourself being glad that you were protected.
Jane pushed open two gigantic wooden double doors and walked into a massive throne and of course, on two majestic chairs sat the 3 volturi kings.
Aro, Caius and Marcus.
Aro seemed to be excited.
Caius was glaring at visitors with annoyance and anger.
Marcus looked... well, rather somber.
Alice had tried to grab your arm and make you go in the same direction as her, the beautiful was quicker and pulled you closer with whilst moving to somewhere in the back of the room and away from the action.
Bella sent you a questioning glance, wondering what you were doing but you had no answer for her so you just shrugged your shoulders and smiled reassuringly at her.
"What a happy surprise! Bella is alive after all" Aro said, his tone chipper as he clapped his hands together, a little too chipper for greeting someone who knew about the existence of vampires...
"Isn't that wonderful? I love a happy ending" you watched Aro approach Bella and Edward, biting your lip in anxiety as your sister was dangerously close to having her life ended.
You weren't aware of it, but your hand subconsciously grabbed ahold of his sleeve and squeezed the material tightly in your grasp.
Aro grabbed ahold of Edwards hand, "they are so rare" he said before his eyes widened and glazed over and it reminded you of when Alice experiences one of her visions .
"La tua cantante, both of the swan sisters" he said, eyes flickering over to you in an instant with newfound curiosity bright in his eye before he decided to make his way over to you.
"My dear Demetri, it seems as though you found your mate" He said, stopping in front of you and looking you dead in the eye, making you shift a little closer to you to seek safety.
"So thats his name, Demetri. Suits him beautifully" you thought yourself.
"Yes my lord" Demetri said, his grip on your waist tightening ever so slightly but enough to make you crave more and be closer to him, even if you didn't understand why you wanted to close to someone who eats your kind for breakfast.
Aro's eyes go to you and you freeze, you couldn't decipher that look in his eyes, curiosity but combined with something else and you weren't sure if you wanted to know... or witness.
"Their blood appeals to you both" he started and you noticed a change in his facial expression "it makes me thirsty" you froze and moved closer to Demetri almost automatically.
"Aro can read every thought you've ever had, with one touch" Edward interjects, his voice making you startle in surprise and your gaze went to him, seeing that he's had his eye on you and Demetri, as well as Alice and you sent her a small smile to let her know you were okay.
Aro turned to look at him "you are quite a soul reader yourself, Edward. No, you can't read Bella's thoughts" he glanced at Bella another time "fascinating"
"I would love to see if you are an exception to my gift as well, would do me the hohor?" Aro extends his hand to Bella and you watch her take a tentative step forward, placing her hand in his.
You watch with nervousness and anxiety as Aro lowers his head and closes his hand, most likely trying to rifle through her memories one by one but he won't be successful, you knew that.
"Interesting" he pauses.
"I see nothing".
Maybe that was a good thing.
Aro takes a few steps backwards, interlacing his hands in thought "let us see if she is immune to all our powers" he says and an unsettling grin grew on his face as he looks at jane "shall we, jane?" and you could swear your heart leaps into your throat and panic consumes you.
"No please don't" you breathed and surged out of demetris hold and towards your sister but strong arms wrapped around your frame in an instant and coiled tightly, immobilizing any movement and leaving you thrashing to get away.
"No" Edward growled and lunged at jane, only to freeze on the stop and his body begins to contort painfully, as if his body was being squeezed into a little ball and he falls to his knees.
"Stop" Bella demanded with a fearful tone "no please stop" she pleaded and tried to run to edwards side but was stopped by Jane's brother, Alec.
"Stop, just stop hurting him please, please" her voice grew louder every second that edward appeared to be in more pain, his face completely strained as he fought against the onslaught waves of pain Jane sent in his direction with one steely eyed glare.
"Jane" Aro said that Jane obeyed instantly, stopping her ministrations against edward.
"Go ahead, my dear" aro said eerily softly and suddenly, Jane looked at Bella with excitement.
"This may hurt just a little" she said calmly and you began thrashing in demetris hold again when you realised what was going to happen
"please let me go" you pleaded quietly as you watched Bella prepare herself, a look of determination in her eyes and much like a python, the more you moved in his arms, the tighter he held you to him "please calm down mia cara, she won't come to harm" he whispered softly in your ear, his voice warm and somehow comforting and it sent shivers down your spine.
Aro lets out a laugh and claps his hands "Remarkable" he breathed "she confounds us all".
"So, what do we do with you now?" then, he looked at you.
"With both of you?".
you huddled closer to demetri at the threatening glint in Aros eyes, almost doing it instinctively.
"You already know what you are going to do Aro" the oldest and kind of depressed-looking spoke up first with a monotonous tone in his voice, as if this whole ordeal bored him.
The blonde king spoke next "They know too much, they're a liability" he said before glancing at you "the younger swan will be spared as she is Demetri's mate, but she has to be turned" he demanded and your stomach tightened with dread.
did you want to be changed? were you really willing to throw a whole chapter of your life away to be with someone you met an hour ago?
Aro sighed wistfully "thats true" he agreed before casting a glance to a burly vampire, giving him a look "Felix" was all he said and Bella was released from Alecs grip
only to be flipped so she was standing protected behind Edward and he lunges at Felix, tackling him to the floor with ferocity and then you felt a rush of wind, suddenly feeling cold.
You looked to the side and saw that Demetri had a hand wrapped around Alices throat in a vice-like grip, not letting her escape and you frowned, she must've tried to intervene.
But with Demetri guarding Alice, you felt exposed and unsafe in a room full of vampires which would easily kill you if given the command, damn you really got comfy in his arms.
Every time edward was slammed into the marble floors, small and tiny cracks grew along his skin, like a porcelain vase that was beginning to shatter and you winced as the cracks and tears grew louder.
And then Felix had him in a headlock, ready to tear off his head and bella let out a cry of desperation "Please, no, no, please, plese!" she cried and aro gave the command to stop felix, hearing the plea in her voice "kill me, kill me, not him" she rushed out and inhaled shakily.
your head turned faster than a cobra striking its pray, you couldn't believer her words, how easily she was willing to give up her life for the man she loved but what about you? were you at the center of her priorities too?
"Bella no, don't say that" you breathed and fought the rising tears as you went to stand by her side but you only got a glare from your sister, so this is what it came to be.
Suddenly becoming a vampire didn't seem like the worst idea.
Aro stalked towards bella with slow and deliberate steps, a confused yet a look of awe in his eyes "how extraordinary, you would give up your life for someone like us, a vampire, a soulless monster"
shivers went down your spine and a burning sensation tingled by the back of your head, you turned your head to look and saw demetri had his eyes trained on you whilst still having focus on keeping Alice captive with is hand wrapped firmly and tightly around her throat.
Guilt consumed you when your first thought was not centred around Alice and her safety but rather the man who had the potential to cause her harm if she so much as she attempted to squirm and break free, the thought of that was enough to get you to turn your head and focus on Bella and Edward again.
But all you then saw was a blur wizzing forward and slamming into another member of the Volturi and you quickly realised edward pounced on him, most likely to protect bella.
(skipping ahead)
Edward was spared from being destroyed and stood with Bella once again and Demetri stood by you again, an arm wrapped securely around your waist.
"let us be done with this, heidi will arrive any moment"
the old and frail-looking king spoke up as he stood up slowly "thank you for your visit" he said slowly with a deep rasp in his voice and then then the blonde king spoke up.
"I would advise that you follow through with your promise soon, we do not offer second chances" he said with a sneer on his face, emphasizing the word "chances" to make it sound more menacing you were sure.
Demetri let go of you momentarily to open the giant double doors and led you and the others out of the throne room "goodbye my young friends" Aro said from behind but you did not once stop to think to turn around, you just kept walking and followed demetri.
"Nice fishing, heidi" you heard demetri say and you looked up, a beautiful vampiric woman in a red dress walked past your group with a sea of tourists following right behind her, mumbling curiously and admiring the architecture of the palace and it appeared as though they were completely oblivious that they were being lead to their deaths.
maybe it was better that way, a quick and swift death.
"yes they do look rather juicy" Heidi replied and sent a smirk in his direction and an emotion that mimicked jealousy (or actual jealousy) rose within you, did she have thing for him? but you shook those thoughts away.
and then the screaming and shouting came.
you froze and wanted to turn around to observe what was happening but demetri snaked an arm around your waist and pulled you close to him "don't look its not for the faint of heart, mia cara" his soft voice met your ear and heat rushed down your spine at the close proximity, the effect he had on you making you slowly forget.
A few minutes later and you were outside, the warm sun beaming down on you and you welcomed it without hesitation, breathing in the fresh air and relaxed.
"It's time we go home" Alice stood next to you, a hand on your shoulder as she gave you a soft smile.
you bit your lip in thought, eyes flickering over to demetri.
for whatever reason, the thought of leaving him was like going through a heartbreak and it was like your whole body was protesting and fighting hard against it, leaving him felt like a gloomy cloud was descending upon you and your world would shrouded in darkness.
"2 seconds alice" you told her quietly and stepped over to demetri, your heart hammering violently in your chest.
"what happens now?" was the first thing you asked him as you looked up at his beautiful face, his beautiful red eyes looking down at you with a certain softness and fondness you didnt think you'd ever on a vampires face.
"We will be together again, and I understand that you must return home" He spoke with understanding as he delicately placed his hand on your cheek, stroking the skin softly like you were the most precious thing he had in his possession.
Which is kind of true given your human nature and his vampire.
a sad and small smile rose on your lips as you subconsciously leaned into his touch, his hand burrowing itself gently in your hair "I look forward to it" you whispered before stepping back, his hand falling from your head and you immediately missed his touch.
"we'll see each other sooner than you think, mia cara"
"this is only the start".
and with that, you turned and left with the others and you were damn sure that you wouldn't ever forget him.

The Pull of Fate
Demetri Volturi x OC (mate)
Part 1 | Part 2 | ...

The ancient forest outside Volterra was quiet, save for the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. Seraphina moved with the grace of a trained hunter, her dark boots crunching against the fallen twigs as she navigated the woods. Her mission was clear: investigate the sudden disappearance of mundanes near the area.
But as she ventured deeper into the shadows, she felt it again—that unmistakable sensation, like being watched by eyes that saw too much.
“Demetri,” she called, her voice steady despite the shiver that ran down her spine.
Almost immediately, he appeared, stepping out from behind a tree with that same disarming elegance she’d come to expect. The pale moonlight caught his features, his crimson eyes glowing faintly as they locked onto hers.
“You’re getting better at sensing me,” he said, his voice low and amused. “Impressive, cara mia.”
“Stop calling me that,” she snapped, though her pulse quickened at the endearment. “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same,” Demetri replied, taking a slow step closer.
Seraphina held her ground, though her hand instinctively moved to her seraph blade. “I’m working. Unlike you, I don’t skulk around aimlessly.”
His lips quirked into a smirk. “Skulking? Hardly. I came here because…” His voice trailed off, his gaze softening as he studied her face. “Because I can’t stay away.”
Seraphina’s heart skipped a beat, but she masked it with a scoff. “You’re infuriating, you know that?”
“Only because I make you feel things you don’t want to admit,” Demetri said smoothly, his voice dropping to a near whisper.
She opened her mouth to retort, but before she could speak, he closed the distance between them in a blur of motion.
“Demetri—”
Her protest was cut off as his lips captured hers.
The world seemed to stop, her sharp intake of breath the only sound in the stillness of the forest. His touch was surprisingly gentle, a stark contrast to the intensity of his presence. His cool lips pressed against hers with a fervor that spoke of restraint finally breaking.
Seraphina froze, her mind racing, her senses overwhelmed by the rush of emotions she didn’t understand.
It was over as quickly as it began. Demetri pulled back, his crimson eyes searching hers, a flicker of vulnerability breaking through his usual confidence.
Seraphina took a step back, her fingers brushing her lips as if trying to process what had just happened. Her cheeks flushed, a rare display of emotion for someone so composed.
“You—” she began, her voice shaky. “You kissed me.”
“I did,” Demetri admitted, his tone unapologetic but laced with something softer. “I couldn’t stop myself, anima mia.”
She shook her head, trying to clear the haze in her mind. “This—this isn’t—”
“Isn’t what?” he interrupted, his voice steady. “What you expected? What you wanted? Or what you feel?”
Seraphina glared at him, her hand falling from her lips as she regained her composure. “I don’t feel anything for you.”
He smiled faintly, as though her denial only amused him. “You can tell yourself that, but we both know it’s not true.”
Her jaw tightened, and she took another step back. “Stay away from me, Demetri. Whatever this is—it’s not real.”
“It’s as real as the blood in your veins and the fire in your soul,” he said, his voice firm but not unkind. “You can run, Seraphina, but you’ll never escape what we are to each other.”
She turned on her heel and strode away, her heart pounding, her lips still tingling from his kiss.
But even as she disappeared into the shadows, Demetri stood there, watching her with a knowing smile. He could wait. For her, he’d wait an eternity.
_________________________________________
Seraphina sat on the ledge of her bedroom window, the soft glow of the moon casting a silvery light over the room. Her hands rested on her knees, her gaze fixed on the distant stars, though her thoughts were far from celestial.
Demetri.
The name lingered in her mind like a haunting melody, weaving through her thoughts no matter how hard she tried to push it away. She could still feel the ghost of his kiss on her lips, the coolness of his touch, and the intensity of his crimson eyes as they bore into hers.
Her heart ached at the memory of her words.
"This isn’t real."
She had said it with such finality, her voice firm and her resolve cold. But deep down, even in that moment, she knew it was a lie. She had seen the flicker of hurt in his gaze, quickly masked by his usual confidence, and it had pierced her like no blade ever could.
Now, as she sat alone in the stillness of the night, the weight of her denial settled heavily on her chest.
Seraphina pressed a hand to her heart, feeling its unsteady rhythm. It wasn’t just the kiss that lingered—it was everything about him. His voice, smooth and compelling. The way he moved, with an elegance that seemed otherworldly. The way he said her name, as though it were the only word that mattered.
Every thought of him sent her pulse racing, a heat rising in her cheeks that she couldn’t ignore.
She longed for him.
The realization made her breath hitch, her fingers curling tightly around the edge of her window ledge. How could she? How could she, a shadowhunter sworn to uphold the sacred laws of the Clave, feel this way about a vampire—an enemy?
If the council knew, if the Clave found out…
A shiver ran through her. She could already imagine the sharp reprimands, the accusations of betrayal, the consequences that would come crashing down on her like a storm. Shadowhunters were bound by duty, by tradition, by loyalty to their kind. They would never accept a bond between her and a creature like Demetri.
But it wasn’t just fear of their judgment that held her back—it was the uncertainty within herself.
The mate bond, as Demetri called it, was a concept foreign to her. Shadowhunters didn’t speak of such things, didn’t believe in fated connections beyond their Parabatai bonds. How could she reconcile what she felt with what she had been taught her entire life?
And yet…
Her fingers brushed her lips, remembering the moment his had claimed hers. There had been no malice, no deception—only pure, unbridled longing. It had ignited something in her, something that burned even now, refusing to be extinguished.
Her heart betrayed her every time she thought of him, its rapid beat revealing a truth she wasn’t ready to admit.
She wanted him.
But wanting him meant stepping into a world of uncertainty, of danger—not just from the Clave, but from her own fear of what this bond truly meant. Was it real, as Demetri claimed? Or was it simply another test, another trial meant to break her resolve?
Seraphina sighed, her shoulders slumping as she rested her head against the window frame.
She didn’t know what to do.
All she knew was that her heart ached when she thought of the hurt in his eyes. That her pulse quickened whenever his voice echoed in her mind. That the emptiness she felt now was a hollow she hadn’t known existed before him.
And that the longing in her chest refused to be ignored.
For the first time in her life, Seraphina was caught between her duty and her heart.
And she had no idea which one would win.
Part 1 | Part 2 | ...

Missing You
Alec Volturi X Fem!Reader
Summary: You begin to miss your vampire soulmate when he leaves you in the italian castle on an important mission.
Warnings: suggestive material
Authors Note: My first work!!! I've been deliberating this for the longest time. I am open to criticism (be nice please lol) and any comments! Hope you enjoy 💞
》》》》
The bed you usually shared with him was cold and empty while he was gone. You opted to sleep on the couch included in your lush chambers in his prolonged absence. His being away was prolonged exactly by five days as his mission was originally supposed to be two days, but was extended to a full week immediately after his departure. Alec's phone calls were hurried as he was always pulled away by the rigorous chase of a troubled rogue vampire. The hasty words shared between the two of you were never enough for either side.
You layed upon your velvet sofa, gazing at the gold bracelet gifted to you by Alec. It had a darling engravement on the plaque: "forever". Your phone rang and you hurried to jump up to grasp and answer your phone.
"Hello", you tried to not sound excited or anxious, although you currently were both.
"My Tesoro, are you well? I expect to be home shortly." He sounded slightly strained, although you chose not to comment on it.
"I'm fine." You come off more snippy than intended, but move past it to not worry him. "You caught him? Finally?"
His reply came immediately: "Yes-- well, Jane caught him."
You giggle, a sound that always made Alec's dead heart flutter. "I bet she did." You pause. "So...soon as in tonight or..." you let your impatience do the talking, much to Alec's amusement.
"Yes as in tonight, princess." You heard the smirk in his voice. "Can you handle another few hours, dear?"
"Don't tease me." You order sternly. "Run here as fast as you can because 'another few hours' is all that I can handle anymore." Your snarky response was followed by Alec's laugh before you hung up to get ready for his return.
You take your time in showering and applying light brushes of makeup while listening to music. When you were in your shared walk-in closet surveying your options of dresses, you felt cold hands on your waist.
"Don't bother putting anything else on when your robe is about to come off..."
You quickly turn around to throw your arms around Alec's neck. "Alec! I missed you!" You hugged him tighter as he leaned closer to your neck to leave kisses.
"And I you." His lips moved up to your cheek, then to your lips. The kiss was filled with longing. Your tongues soothed eachothers as your hands moved to his shoulders to anchor yourself so he could pick you up.
He walked the two of you over to your perfectly made bed and sat you down. Your hands slid down Alec's chest where he held them there between his own hands. "It's been too long..." you state in a sultry manner, laying back on the comforter.
"I can't help but to agree with you, my lady." Alec's response was accompanied by his hands running down your thighs, and back up again to toy with the hem of your robe. "Shall I act on my earlier words?" Alec winked at you while he waited for you to give your consent, a must in your relationship.
"You shall," you giggled out in excitement. Your robe now dangled off of your shoulders, and Alec's hands are tracing the lace of your panties. Slight rubs through the fabric had you letting out panting breaths. "Alec," you whimpered.
His movements suddenly stopped. He gained a statue like appearance with his unmoving eyes and pristine skin. You tugged on his sleeve to gain his attention. "Don't tell me."
His lips were now pursed in an apology. "You know I don't mean for this to happen--." Bangs on the doors sound and you hear a teasing voice directing Alec to the throne room: Demetri.
"I'm afraid you and your hands are needed elsewhere, Alec." You scoff at Demetri's inappropriate words, and move off of the bed to put your robe back on.
"Be quick. Dont make me take matters into my own hands." You warn Alec.
This makes Alec determined to get back to you in a timely manner; he speeds out the door, almost trampling over Demetri.
A busy vampire you were mated to.

Rain
Demetri Volturi x human mate reader
Summary: Reader gets overwhelmed with stress and he's there to support her Warnings: mentions of an anxiety attack, but mostly fluff A/N: Omg someone stop me😁, another one-shot post?? I had to write this because as I was taking my breaks I would work on this, its not proofread but the idea of Demetri calling the reader Spanish nicknames is a must have but throw rainy weather into the topic and muah *chefs kiss*. Enjoy and there will be a second A/N in the end. A little translation for my non-Spanish speakers: Mi cariño: dear or darling Mi vida: My life Princessa: princess Mi amado hermoso: My beautiful lover
(I cant believe it took me a while to write a Demetri one-shot)
I burst through our shared room in a panic state and I saw my lovely mate on his special chair. Before I could even react he was already wrapping his arms around me and cuddling me into his chest. I felt the build up tears I was holding back cascade down my cheeks. Demetri was rubbing my back in comfort and I heard him mumble
“Mi cariño, let it all out, I know you need this”
I sure did need this, all of today I was working on a project for a class and I ended up deleting about half of it and couldn't recover it at all. I always threw my computer out the window but instead I stared at the blank page that was staring back at me with what I could assume was mockery. I did manage to remember a good amount of what I had done and it's back to how it is, but I spent a while in a state of shock and denial.
Suddenly I felt myself shaking physically, my heart increase in palpitation and worst of all I could feel my breath becoming shorter. Demetri picked up right away that I was dealing with an anxiety attack and he guided me toward the balcony to the fresh air and the light rain.
“Mi vida, look its raining, you love the rain, hey look at how pretty it looks”
I turn my head to be able to face the scenery instead of his very well built chest to see how soft and calming it is currently. I told Demetri before that I love the rain, it's my personal safe haven other than his arms. I felt my trembling and shaking diminished slightly, my heart rate started to slow down to a more reasonable way but my breathing was still a problem.
I felt him tilt my head up so I was looking at him and my breath for a minute hitch, he looked breathtaking right now. There were small droplets of rain running down his face which caused his hair to stick to his forehead and his eyes were full of adoration. He looked beautiful at that moment, well he always looks beautiful, I heard him one time arguing with Felix and he ended the conversation with “Dont hate me because im beautiful”.
I smiled at the memory and soon enough he had a look of curiosity with a matching smile
“What's got you smiling like that princessa?”
“I was just think about your statement to end an argument with Felix, the don't hate because i'm beautiful”
His laughter filled the gloomy atmosphere that the rain created, his laugh sounding like music to my ears. One of his hands started to caress my cheek gently, his coldness immediately sending a small shiver down my spine but also somehow started to steady my breathing.
“Look at you princessa, your doing so good in breathing, such a good girl”
I blush at the praise which he never fails to miss, he knows what praises from him does to me, many thoughts come to mind but I push them away for now since I am still recovering from the earlier events.
“Do you want to talk about it/”
“My computer decided to throw me a whole 360 today”
“A whole 360? Im sorry cariño, but you need to explain that to me”
I giggled at his dumbfounded look, it's always fun to be able to still catch a vampire as old as him off guard with my modern language “Right forgot your like a million years old, I was working on a project today for one of my classes on my computer and I accidentally deleted like half of it but like I barely started it so it was no big deal because I remember what I had so far but it was just so frustrating you know”
He continued to caress my cheek as he nods along to my explanation
“And it just so stressful in thinking I have so much to do still before this week ends and I feel like I have done what I needed to do but its not enough still and and—”
He placed his finger on my lips to silence me and I tiled my head to the side from curiosity, this is new. His signature smirk spread onto his face at my reaction
“Sorry love, but you started to spiral into chaos and as much as adore to hear you ramble, I started to feel stress myself from your stress”
I looked down in embarrassment but he tilted my head up once again
“Hey don't be embarrassed cara, it's good for you to talk about what stresses you out, better out and in you know?”
“Your right metri”
“Now care to have a dance with me in the rain then?”
Whining at his request, even if that has secretly been a dream of mine to do “Demi you know i'm not even a good dancer, heck I don't even know how to”
“But that's the fun part princessa, I can teach you and we will be dancing in your favorite type of weather”
“Fair point”
As the rain intensified slightly, he guided my moves with such elegance that I almost felt like I myself am an expert to begin with. The rain at that moment was not a bother, my main focus was my casanova of a vampire that I call mi amado hermoso.
A/N: You know I don't know why I haven't added any Spanish nicknames to my writings, but I will in future (I feel like Demetri would just know all of the most romantic languages). I know I mentioned this in my Alec one-shot but I am working on a Caius one, its a work in progress indeed maybe in the end of this week I might have part one done, who knows?

KNITTING ERA ?!?!
by: denningsjawbreaker
summary: soft!demetri teachers reader how to knit but *sighs*
for: @volturi-stuff
INT. VOLTURI CASTLE
-
" Demetri this is literally so hard...I'm stupid I can't fucking figure this shit out " you complain to your smug ass boyfriend who decided it be best to spend time by knitting.
This motherfucker continued to smirk as he sits on the bed y'all shared and is almost done knitting a whole sweater. You blinked at and lips parted and you cross your arms .
" that's totally unfair ... why can't we just sit down relax and watch teen wolf ? " you whine and wrap yourself around the blanket he made for you three days ago.
Demetri looks down at you and puts the finished beanie on your head and kisses your lips and your forehead.
" because doing these things with you makes me happy....I love making things with you..and for you darling. you mean so much to me and I do sincerely apologize if this isn't up to your liking , but knitting is my comfort and so are you. Which is why I decided to combine them both . " he says softly and strokes ur cheek and puts his knitting gear to the side .
Now you feel bad because why the fuck would he explain so sweetly. You can't help but smile at him. The way he is with his words. In these moments , you can't believe you have the most flirtatious casanova of the vampire world at your feet turning into this gentleman you cant help but love so much.
" METRI.....stoppp you really feel that way about me ? Im actually gonna fucking cry. THAT is literally the most nicest thing anyone has said to me . You are my miracle and my comfort too. You make me feel so beautiful and confident in myself. You make me the most happiest girl ever . I'm glad you are my mate and I met you. " you say through tears and wrap your arms around your big man .
Demetri smiles and his undead heart flutters a bit at your answer. He feels himself at peace in the centuries he has been alive. Besides Felix, you are his family. You are his perfect match and his soulmate . He never saw love the same after what he went through but you taught him that giving it a second chance isn't something to hide from.
" I love you so much amore . You are my everything and my life. If I had my heart in my hand , I'm sure it would be alive again " he says and kisses you deeply and strokes your hair softly. You smile in his arms and he wraps the blanket he made around y'all and he puts on the TV in the room and goes to search and looks at you.
" It's Teen Wolf right? " he says with his eyebrow up and you give him a nod with a smile and squeal.
" I can't wait to see Issac...he is so fine oh my god " you tell him .
He pouts playfully and looks at you with child like eyes.
" I'm hotter than that mutt...right ?!" He asks you as you press on Season 2.
You roll your eyes playfully and kiss his cheek with a chuckle.
" Oh my heavens Demetrius , don't be jealous he is just my TV crush don't worry . You know I love you so so much " you kiss him everywhere and he smirks and has his arm around you.
" Yeah that's true....but I love you more my darling dove " he smiles wide as the theme song starts to play and he looks over again at the TV then at you.
" so maybe we can make teen wolf beanies ?"
" OH MY GOSH YES ! BUT you definitely have to make it cause I don't trust myself with knitting "
" don't worry I got you my darling "
Both You and Demetri are now lost in the each other's love and can't help the happiness that radiates surrounding you. You both were the sun to each other's darkness. If the evil leaks in, it's positively true that love will overpower it. Demetri loves you so much and you love Demetri.
is anything more important than that ?

I personally think the Volturi have legitimate jobs… to keep peace in the vampire world.
Like imagine the kings(Aro, Caius, Marcus) are the politicians in the vampire world in my head and in my fanfics, they tax Coven leaders. The Volturi wives (Athenodora, Sulpicia) probably take care of the money that goes in and out of the Volturi and the vampire world. Like making sure the guards and the human staff get paid. Investments such as real estate, and taxes and payroll blah, blah, blah…… I think it’s a good thing they would do that. Of course they also make the laws (obviously 🙄). But I would love to see this if only SM went into detail about this… if she did I don’t remember when I read the books. Sorry. But in my head this is how the Volturi also keep peace. They tax coven leaders and nomads, and keep a census of the the vampire population…
Am I crazy for thinking like this..? Like in my head I have an idea for Caius and his wife where they adopt a small hybrid and the hybrid reminds Caius of his long lost biological daughter, and she and Demetri might have a mate bond… But the only difference would be is that she grows more like a normal human child. So of course Caius and Athenodroa have to do bedtime and bathtime and dinners and tea parties.. hell idk. I just have so many ideas and books that I’m thinking of unfortunately I don’t actually write on fan fiction or Ao3. So everything would be here!
What do you think let me know I want to be more creative with my writing and get out of my comfort zone. Do more because you all inspire me!

Solace
Demetri volturi x fem!reader
Warning: major insecurities, talk of not being good enough.
Summary: Demetri explains the Bond to his mate
A/n: I’m very rusty i haven’t written in a year. But I needed this. I needed him. I was listening to Iris and figured why the hell not.

He kept flashing back into your mind. Those crimson eyes, his pale skin, the way he sounded… You wondered, why someone so godly, would ever approach you. After all, you never thought of yourself as someone who was worthy of love. You knew he wasn’t human. Of course you knew it. But he kept coming back. You kept seeing him in stores, and on walks. He was everywhere since you first met him, since you first spent time with the man, known as Demetri Volturi. That’s how you ended up with him in your room, on your bed. You knew you had to talk to him.
The man with the red eyes sat across from you, a soft smile resting on his perfect pink lips. “I know you have questions.” He asked, in the most sincere velvety voice. You slowly nodded your head. Of course you had questions. What was he? Why did he have such an infatuation with you? Why did you feel like your soul was ripped out of your body when he left. You looked down at your hands fiddling with your nails as you gathered your thoughts. “Actually I do… What are you?” You asked, not daring to look up at his eyes. Maybe he was some kind of demon. They did say, Lucifer would be the most enchanting person.
He softly chuckled, “I’m a vampire love.” He simple spoke. The way he talked to you was enough to make you feel drawn in. His voice was so smooth, that thick accent of his sounded like the chime of church bells. There was no cracks in his voice, it was simply, perfect. “So, if you’re a vampire…” you paused, now playing with your bracelet, still not meeting the man’s eyes. “What do you want with me?” You heard him let out a sigh before he spoke again. “My darling… there’s a certain kind of intimate bond in my world. When a vampire finds their soulmate, that one person who their soul is tied to. Two halves become whole again. They’re one true love, the person you’re destined to be with. You’re mine.” He said softly, silently wishing you’d meet his eyes. Demetri had no idea what you were thinking, and he wished you’d just look at him.
You suddenly laughed quietly to yourself at his words. “Soulmate? Me? That’s funny…I’m a no one. I’m not important or special, I’m just… me. No one loves me, everyone leaves. I’m not- it’s not meant for me to have a forever! I’m not important.” You said with a trembling voice. Your hands had gone clammy, and your eyes began to water. The feeling of being wanted was so foreign to you. You felt a cold hand on your chin, as Demetri lifted it with his middle finger. He put his hands on your cheeks, holding your face in his cold marble hands. “Do not ever let me hear you speak like that in my presence. You’re the closest to heaven, that I’ll ever be. I will not ever let you speak ill of yourself. I can’t change your mind in a day, but I can assure you darling, if you ever think like that I’ll be there to tell you otherwise. You are my world.” He said, his voice had this sternness to it, but there was still that velvety comfort you were used to. “I- is all you could say, as he pulled you into his arms.
“I’ll never let you feel like those mortals did.” He said softly, pressing a cold kiss to your head. You were finally able to be at peace. Your soul could rest with his, without doubt or worry. He was your solace.

May I request Demetri finding his mate? I'd love for her to be a bookworm, plus size if you don't mind, I mean sweaters, tons of To Be Read piles, glasses, hair bows, fuzzy blankets, the whole thing. 🥰🥹😭 I think he would be soft with a girl like that(I'm SO not projecting...) I can't get over how amazing your work is 😭🥹
Hehe, another fun request, thank you! <3 Demetri might be a bit OOC here, but honestly? I too am a sucker for soft Demetri. Thank you so much for the support, I appreciate it more than you know! Enjoy! 📖💖
Demetri never expected his mate to be human. Much less someone so… soft?
He first finds her in a dimly lit bookstore, curled up in a reading nook with a massive hardcover, completely oblivious to the world.
She’s wrapped in an oversized sweater that complements her eyes and her glasses are gradually sliding down her nose, requiring her to push them back up every so often.
As far as Demetri can see her hair is held back with a little bow and there is a steaming mug of tea on the table beside her.
She looks like a painting that he would name ‘a perfect picture of warmth and comfort’.
When she finally notices him she pushes her glasses up once again and offers a polite smile before returning to her book.
He’s captivated.
"What are you reading?" he asks, his voice smooth as velvet.
She blinks up at him, clearly startled by his presence, and stammers something about a historical romance.
His lips twitch in amusement and he makes a mental note to read the book later to understand what has her so entranced.
He quickly becomes a huge part of her life.
Demetri notices she often forgets to eat or drink when she’s too absorbed in a book, so he starts bringing her little snacks and gently nudging her to take a break.
She hesitates at first when he compliments her, brushing it off, but Demetri makes it his mission to ensure she knows how utterly magnificent he finds her.
He adores her reading nook, her towering TBR piles, the way she annotates her favourite books with tiny notes in the margins and pastel sticky notes, the way she organises her books on the shelves, the way she enthusiastically retells him the plot of the book she is currently reading.
He loves to tease her. "I found my mate & she’s more interested in fictional men than in me."
If she falls asleep with a book in her lap he will carefully remove it, mark the page and drape a fuzzy blanket over her.
If anyone so much as looks at her the wrong way, his usual easy charm disappears while his terrifying side emerges. But around her? He’s gentle. A knight sworn to a queen she doesn’t even realize she is.
She is constantly ranting about books and Demetri is so soft for it. He just sits there, chin resting on his hand, watching her with complete and utter devotion while she goes on and on.
"And then – oh my god – he sacrificed everything for her, and she still thought he didn’t love her! Like, HELLO?!"
He hums, amused. "A tragedy, truly."
"RIGHT?"
Honestly he has no idea what’s happening, but she’s happy, so he’s happy.
Sometimes she gets self-conscious about rambling but he immediately shuts that down.
"I could listen to you talk for eternity, darling."
Demetri might be couple of millenniums old but he does not understand the concept of fuzzy blankets.
"Dearest, why do you require this?" "Because it’s cozy?"
He lifts the edge of the blanket with a single finger while staring at the softness as if it offends him. "It is unnecessary. You have me."
"Okay but you don’t come in an oversized, fluffy, warm, machine-washable form."
"Machine-washable?" He repeats, deeply unimpressed. "I am eternal."
She just snuggles deeper into the blanket, murmuring, "Mmm. But is your eternity fleece-lined?"
He loses to the blanket multiple times before he finally starts to understand the appeal.
Demetri quickly learns that a "quick stop" at the bookstore is never really a quick stop.
"Only five minutes, I just need one book."
Forty-five minutes later, Demetri is holding an entire stack while she debates between two editions of the same book.
"This one has deckled edges," she explains. "But this one has sprayed edges. The struggle is real."
Demetri, a vampire with infinite patience, simply stares at her.
Eventually, she just gets both and like a proper gentleman he insists he pays for them.
He loves watching her push her glasses up when they slide down her nose or how she peeks over the frames when she’s suspicious of something.
Sometimes, she loses them and panics. "Demetri, have you seen my…oh."
He’s already holding them out to her with a smirk. "You mean these?"
"...How long have you had them?"
"Long enough to enjoy the show."
One time he tries them on. instant regret
"How do you see through these?" He scowls, blinking rapidly. "This is horrific."
"That’s what I’m saying!" she exclaims. "Now you know my pain!"
He immediately takes back every time he ever teased her about misplacing them. She’s fighting for her life out here.
One day as a joke, she puts one of her bows on him.
A baby pink, frilly hair bow, right on top of the Volturi’s most dangerous tracker.
"...You will remove this," he says, deadpan.
She just grins. "But you look adorable."
The rest of the Volturi are in shock when Demetri walks through the halls with it still in his hair.
Aro is delighted. "Ah, young love!"
Felix and Jane are dying. They will never let him live that down.
Demetri sighs and accepts his fate. He can never say no to her.
She gets excited about romance tropes and tries to get him to recreate them with her.
"Demetri, we need to do the one bed trope."
"But dearest, we share a bed every night."
"No, no. You have to complain about it first, then dramatically sigh before giving in."
He humours her, dramatically throwing himself onto the bed. "Fine! But only because there’s no other option."
She giggles and cuddles up to him.
He secretly loves how invested she is in this.
Then she reads a book where the love interest casually leans against the doorway, arms crossed, looking lovinglyat the main character.
Once again she convinces Demetri to try it.
He props himself up against the doorframe, all smirks and sharp jawline, literally like he just walked out of a book.
"Like this, love?" he asks, his voice like silk.
"Mmmhmm," she nods with a blush, suddenly forgetting every coherent thought.
He pushes off the frame with a pleased smile.
He does it randomly now just to see her flustered reaction.
She is constantly giving him book recommendations.
"Demetri, this one has an intense, brooding, immortal love interest. It’s literally you."
He flips through the pages. "So, I’m a ‘tortured soul with a tragic past and a poetic way of speaking’?"
"Well… yeah."
He smirks. "Flattering, really."
He actually does read them (because it makes her so happy).
The best part? He engages in serious discussions afterward.
"I must say, darling, this hero is hardly as brooding as you claimed. If he were truly tormented he wouldn’t monologue so much."

Hi! Just read your Marcus x reader fic where they get compared to Didyme.
I was thinking maybe a Poly! Volturi comparing Reader to their ex/late partners and Reader shuts down. They don't mention it, but it really hurts cause they've always been a replacement, so they leave Volterra. The Volturi don't realise for a while.
Feel free to ignore this if it's too repetitive or you've done one like it before.
𝖁𝖔𝖑𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖎 𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌𝖘 (𝖕𝖔𝖑𝖞)
Angst, no comfort. Pure angst, literally no fluff at ALL. Bad relationship, couple of swear words in there, let me know if you want a part two of making it up <3
Part 2
It's not like you were the second choice
They had been adament that they wanted you, that you were their true mate
So why were they acting like this now?
After almost a year of being together, they were starting to fall out of the 'honeymoon phase'
Had it always just been a phase? Was this doomed from the get-go?
It started with little snippy comments about acting proper. You were human, not raised in the fine luxury and manners they were, and apparently that showed in your actions. And apparently the way you dress too.
It's like they were moulding you into their exes, it it was making you miserable
And it's not like you didn't try to tell them, you did. Only to be shut down. "Cara mia, I'm working. This is not an appropriate place to discuss this" Aro told you, despite being within the privacy of his study
Caius was no better, in no mood to 'entertain you' and your 'whims' as he put it, brushing you off with a sigh
Marcus, too, was no use, disregarding the emotion and making it perhaps worse by saying that didyme would have taken of the constructive criticism
So there you stood, looking at yourself in the mirror. The big dress, the light makeup, the haircut, even the fucking posture just want you.
And so you left.
Silently, seeing as communicating clearly wasn't an option
How long had it been when they realised you were gone? Three days at least
Honestly, Aro had assumed you were annoyed with them and wanted space, telling his brothers suck. It had never crossed his mind that you had left
I mean, the clothes you wore every day were still there, all the gowns and dresses still in place and -
Where were the clothes you brought with you?
The ones they insisted you wouldn't wear?
Caius walkers into your personal room with a huff, intending to talk some sense into this tantrum you've been throwing, and instead intruding on Aro's realisation
The grounds are searched and Marcus is informed
It is pure and utter panic
Chaos as they look for you
Demetri was called back from his mission early to search for you and you were in another country
Marcus was practically having heart palpitations, he can't lose another mate. "Why would she do this, Didyme would never scare me like this"
And he pauses
So does Aro
And so does Caius
And for the first time, they truly hear themselves
Caius is the first one to remember you bringing it up. "Did she talk to you about it too..." the proud kings' voice is for once delicate and quiet
"... I made her leave" Aro practically folds in half, having to grip over where his hear would be in his chest and lean over because of the burning sensation. It aches, it physically aches him to know he messed up this badly - he didn't give you the time of day
"... I told her I don't have time for this" Caius' fist is buried in his hair, gripping in stress and nearly ripping the strands out of his head. His hands are jittery, shaking, and his hair is tussled - a perfect relection of his inner turmoil
"... In the very moment she asked me not to compare her to Didyme anymore, I told her Didyme would take the criticism" is it possible for vampires to be sick? Because I think Marcus is about to be. His eyes sting and he makes a gagged choking noise like he's dry heaving. Like his fight or flight has chosen freeze and the rising anxiety makes his stomach churn
A knock on the door is what pulls them away
Instead of coming to the turbulent kings and taking them with him, it seems Demetri picked you up on his way back instead and brought you right to them.
There are bags under your eyes, and your skin is sickly. Your cheeks are stained with dried up tears and your eyes are bloodshot like you cried so hard you broke a vessel
They rush toward you and Demetri takes that as his cue to leave
Marcus ever so gently holds your face, eyes scanning you for any physical harm, and when he finds none he feels so much temporary relief he almost collapses into himself. "Thank goodness you're okay, I couldn't bare to lose you-"
"what, like you did Didyme?" you spit back with more venom in your voice than their combined fangs have ever produced in their millennias of life
"No, no" Caius' voice has never been so gentle, he takes your hand in his and places a kiss to the inside of your wrist
"Oh, so I'm gone for three days and suddenly it's about me and not your exes?" there is spite in your voice, but it still wavers with how upset you are
Exclaiming "three days?!" was a big mistake on Aro's part, but in that moment he was so full of concern he hadn't realised it would only worsen the situation
"... You didn't know?" and the look on your face is absolutely heart shattering
And they have no words, nothing to say. Because there is no words, and there are no excuses.
"I was gone for three days, and you didn't care enough to notice?!?" your angry now. And you have every right to be. But they have no idea how to fix what they've done

Title: That's your Future
Fandom: Twilight
Pairing: Alice x Jasper x M!Reader (Platonic)
Warnings: Alice and Jasper have adopted (Name) as their own, violence, death, heavy ANGST, good ending.
Everywhere (Name) looked all he saw was dead bodies and fights. (Name) never really liked violence. Especially with how his "Creator" was when he was only a Newborn. Much like his father figure. (Name) was created for war. So he always hated fighting.
(Name) grunts as a guard grabs him from behind. (Name) quickly wrapped his left leg around his captures and easily broke it off. Easily maneuvering the Volturi guard over him and quickly breaking the Vampires neck. (Name) winced at the breaking sound before shaking his head. He needed to stop being so distracted.
(Name) looked around. Trying to find his parental figures. When he was unable to see either pixie or cowboy he grimaced and ducked under another guard. Quickly ending the fight and wincing once more at the breaking sound. He'll always hate the sound they make when their killed.
Being a Vampire definitely wasn't what it's made out to be. He finally caught site of his mother figure and breathed a sigh of relief seeing her alive. He frowned when he noticed she was in two Volturi guard arms and immediately started racing forward. Until he heard his father's pained gasp.
(Name) froze and snapped his head to where the sound radiated. His undead heart broke seeing how the guards were holding Jasper. It was like time slowed when Demetri cut his hand down. (Name) could slowly hear the scream of his mother and knew what he had to do.
He never really understood why his gift was what it was. Being able to swap places with others was never a very powerful gift to have. Although considering how much trouble his newest Auntie and Cousin has caused the last few years. It's come in handy multiple times.
~
Edward snapped his head behind him. He quickly reached out for his nephew. Only to grab the shoulder of his brother as (Name) had swapped his and Jasper's places. Upon seeing (Name)'s head hit the snow and both Alice and Jasper's pain filled screams both sides froze momentarily.
Alice quickly broke the hold from the guards and sunk to her knees. Reaching out for (Name)'s head. The sad smile broke Edward's heart. Edward's hand tightened on Jasper's shoulder. Both brothers raced forward. Tackling the stunned Demetri and Felix to the ground.
Jane upun seeing her guards taken down tried using her gift. But when it didn't work she looked to the side. Bella Cullen with a rage and grief filled face was using her gift. Protecting her husband, brother in law, and her sister in law. Jane stumbled back hoping. Both male's would be busy with her guard. Letting her escape.
Until she heard the sound of snow crunching behind her. She briefly looked back. Until to see a emotionless Alice Cullen chasing after her. Jane's eyes widened and she turned back forward. Trying to run faster. She was the slowest of the guards, but her gift made up for her weaked speed.
Jane looked back only to not see the racing Cullen. Until she turned back around. Running straight into her. Alice snarled as she gripped Jane's throat. The imagine of her sweet son's head rolling to her feet kept playing through her mind. So instead of just ripping her head off and giving her an easy but quick death.
Alice Cullen walked forward. Multiple fights stopping to see what would happen next. Until a large black wolf stalked forward. The hand of Jane's twin Alex hanging from his mouth. Jane's eyes watered as she tried breaking from Alice's hold. Only to fail. Alice stopped a few feet from the wolf. With a icey tone Alice threw Jane forward.
"Here. A new toy Sam. (Name) would be glad to know you broke it."
The large black wolf didn't hesitate before jumping onto the screaming Jane. Quickly snapping his jaw around her head. He ignore her tearing at his snout. The picture of a happily laughing (Name) flashed before Sam's eyes. Before his jaw snapped tighter and he ripped his head to the side. Completely breaking shattering her head.
Upon seeing his best guards taken down. Aro frowned and looked around for his targets. His eyes caught Edward first. The Cullen's eyes were filled with grief and rage. Aro smirked before racing towards the telepathic male. Bella seeing the scene raced forward. Using her anger to her advantage.
Aro slammed Bella back towards her husband. Sending them both down. He tried using that to his advantage. Only to fail as Edward quickly turned. Using the momentum Bella kicked Aro's face. Stunning the Volturi King. Edward threw his wife towards the King. Bella kicked Aro in the chest multiple times before being thrown away.
Edward ran forward. Trying to remove the King's head before Aro quickly turned the tables. While he was distracted Bella jumped onto the King's shoulders and pulled upwards. Frightening the King momentarily. Edward using the distraction kicked the King's legs out from under him.
As his head flew forward all Aro could see was Bella thrusting the fire into his face. Mouthing out, "For my family." The guards trying to intervene were quickly handled by the other Cullen's and friends.
~
Aro stunned blinked multiple times. Seeing the absolute fury upon Alice Cullen's face. He looked around. Meeting the eyes of the other Cullen members. He stared at the tensed Edward Cullen. Who had an arm wrapped around his wife and his other arm on the shoulders of his nephew.
(Name) flinched when his eyes met Aro's. Making Emmett step in front of the male. Multiple heated glares and growls sent his way. Upon seeing the King staring at her son Alice snarled quietly. Her tone filled with anger, ice, and a warning.
"That's your future."
Jasper glared at the staring King. Ignoring the tightened hold from the guards. His own deep and threatening growl leaving his chest. Making multiple Volturi guard flinch and step away. The guards holding him winced feeling the power of the growl. Aro's eyes snapped to Jasper before meeting Alice's eyes.
"That's your future unless you change your mind."
~
(Name) held his unneeded breath. He had no idea what vision was shown. But upon feeling his Uncle Edward literally yank him towards the end. He could guess a few factors of what happened. But the feeling of one of the Vampire King's was very unwelcomed. Especially since both his Uncles tensed.
He relaxed when his Uncle Emmett stepped in front of him. (Name) seriously hated this. He wanted to get his family and go back to the Cullen house. Away from their so called "Royalty". Everything else happened so fast. Aro made some kind of speech (Name) honestly didn't pay attention to.
His attention was towards the wolves. (Name) happily waved towards the wolves. Not noticing the chuckling surrounding him or the retreating Volturi. Only when his mother almost tackled him into the snow did (Name) realize what was happening. Without hesitation he wrapped his arms around her. So thankful that they were both okay.
Jasper crashing into the hug did send them into the snow though. Which made almost everyone laugh. (Name) was very confused on why his parents were so clingy at the moment but (Name) couldn't really see his mother's visions. So he shrugged off the confusion and instantly relaxed in the arms of his parents. Glad that everything was over and their family safe.

The Shadows and the Moonlight
Demetri Volturi x OC (mate)
Part 1 | Part 2 | ...

The streets of Volterra were eerily silent as Demetri, the most skilled tracker in the Volturi coven, prowled the night. It was a rare moment when he was given leave from his duties, and tonight, he wandered not with purpose but with restless curiosity. The moonlight spilled through the ancient cobblestone alleys, casting long shadows that seemed to dance and flicker at the edges of his vision.
But tonight, something was different.
As he moved through the streets, Demetri felt it—a tug at the very core of his being, a pull so strong it made him halt mid-step. His crimson eyes narrowed, scanning the darkness for the source of this peculiar sensation. And then, he saw her.
A figure emerged from the shadows, sleek and deadly, her movements like liquid grace. She wore black leather, her armor adorned with strange, glowing runes. A whip coiled at her hip and a blade glittered in her hand, reflecting the faint moonlight. Her gold-blonde hair framed a face of fierce beauty, her blue eyes alight with determination. She was unlike any creature he had ever encountered.
Demetri inhaled sharply, and his world shifted.
She was his mate.
His thirst vanished, replaced by a deep, all-consuming need. The vampire who had spent centuries in control of his every impulse suddenly found himself teetering on the edge of obsession. He could hear the steady thrum of her heartbeat, could feel the fire that radiated from her very presence. She was a shadow cloaked in fire, and she was his.
Seraphina Moore, shadowhunter of the New York Institute, was on a mission. Reports of strange vampire activity in Volterra had reached her through the Clave, and she had come to investigate. She hadn't expected to find herself in the ancient city alone, but something had drawn her here—a whisper of something powerful, something dangerous.
And now, she was being watched.
Seraphina's grip on her blade tightened as her eyes darted through the alley. She could sense him—a predator lurking just beyond the edge of her vision. "Show yourself," she called, her voice steady, though her heart hammered in her chest.
Demetri stepped into the moonlight, his movements languid and deliberate. His pale skin glowed under the silver light, and his crimson eyes locked onto hers with an intensity that made her breath hitch.
"You are... extraordinary," he murmured, his voice a velvet caress.
Seraphina raised her blade, her runes glowing brighter as she prepared for a fight. "Stay back, leech."
Demetri's lips curved into a faint smirk, but there was no mockery in his gaze—only fascination. "You wound me, cara mia. I mean you no harm."
"Right," she snapped, her grip firm. "That's exactly what every vampire says before they sink their teeth into someone."
Demetri tilted his head, studying her as though she were a rare piece of art. "You’re not like anyone I’ve ever met. A hunter of shadows, but also... something more."
Seraphina's eyes narrowed. "And you’re not like the usual vampires I encounter. You're too calm. Too confident."
He took a step closer, and she didn't flinch—a fact that pleased him immensely. "Perhaps that's because I’ve already found what I’ve been searching for, anima mia."
Her brows furrowed at the term. "What does that mean?"
He smiled, a flash of sharp teeth that somehow felt more seductive than threatening. "It means 'my soul.' And you, my fierce little shadowhunter, have just claimed mine."
Seraphina's breath caught, her runes flickering uncertainly as she felt an unexplainable pull toward him. She shook her head, trying to focus. "I don’t know what game you’re playing, vampire, but it won’t work on me."
Demetri’s expression softened, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "This isn’t a game. It’s fate."
Seraphina's instincts screamed at her to strike, to run, to do anything but stand there under the weight of his gaze. But something in his words, in his presence, kept her rooted in place.
For a moment, they stood in silence, two predators circling the edge of something neither fully understood.
Finally, Seraphina broke the spell, stepping back and raising her blade once more. "Stay out of my way, vampire. If I find out you’re involved in the vampire activity here, I won’t hesitate to end you."
He nodded, his smirk returning but softer this time. "I wouldn’t dream of it, cara mia. But be warned—this isn’t the last time we’ll meet."
As Seraphina vanished into the shadows, Demetri stood there, his mind and heart consumed by the shadowhunter who had turned his world upside down.
She was his, whether she realized it yet or not. And he would do whatever it took to make her see it.
________________________________________
Seraphina stalked the darkened streets of Volterra with a determination she couldn’t quite place. Every step was deliberate, every breath steady, but her mind refused to quiet. The memory of the crimson-eyed vampire haunted her—his smooth voice, his unwavering gaze, and the unsettling warmth that crept into her chest whenever he spoke.
She rounded a corner and froze.
He was there.
Leaning casually against a stone archway, his figure bathed in silver moonlight, Demetri looked every bit the predator she knew he was. Yet, instead of striking fear into her, his presence irritated her, set her nerves on edge in a way she couldn’t understand.
“You,” Seraphina said, her voice colder now. “Are you following me?”
Demetri placed a hand over his heart, feigning offense. “Following you? No, that would imply effort. Finding you is effortless, as though the universe itself wishes us to meet again.”
Seraphina rolled her eyes but tightened her grip on the seraph blade in her hand. “Cute. But flattery won’t save you if you’re here to cause trouble.”
He took a slow, deliberate step forward, hands raised in a gesture of peace. “I have no intention of causing trouble. In fact, I came to give you something.”
Her brows furrowed. “What could you possibly have that I’d want?”
“A name.”
She blinked, thrown off guard. “What?”
He smiled, a small, almost boyish curve of his lips that somehow disarmed her. “My name. You didn’t ask for it before, but I think it’s only fair you know who I am. Demetri.” He said it with pride, as though offering her a piece of himself.
Seraphina hesitated, unsure if this was some sort of trick. His crimson eyes bored into hers, unwavering, and for a moment, she felt... safe.
“I don’t need your name,” she said briskly, though her resolve wavered.
“Ah, but I need yours,” he countered smoothly, his voice dipping into something softer, more intimate. “It feels wrong not to know the name of the woman who has ensnared me so completely.”
Seraphina's heart skipped at his words, and she hated herself for the flutter of warmth they stirred in her chest. She hesitated, her guard wavering for just a moment. “Why? So you can continue to bother me?”
His smile faded, replaced by something more serious. “No. Because it feels wrong not to know the name of the woman who has occupied my every thought since the moment I saw her.”
Seraphina's breath hitched, but she quickly masked it with a scoff. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Perhaps,” he admitted, his crimson eyes meeting hers with an intensity that made her heart flutter. “But that doesn’t make it any less true.”
For a moment, the night was silent, the weight of his words hanging between them. Seraphina could feel the sincerity in his gaze, the strange pull that seemed to tether them together.
Fine, she thought, annoyed with herself as much as with him. If giving him her name would make him leave her alone, so be it.
“It’s Seraphina,” she said abruptly, her voice firm but laced with resignation. “There. You have my name. Happy now?”
Demetri’s lips curved into a small, almost boyish smile. “Seraphina,” he repeated, as though savoring the taste of it. “A beautiful name for a beautiful soul.”
She narrowed her eyes, pointing her blade at him. “Don’t push your luck.”
He raised his hands in mock surrender, his smile never wavering. “I wouldn’t dare.”
“Good,” she snapped, turning on her heel to leave. “Now stay out of my way, Demetri.” His name on her lips sent a shiver down his spine.
As she walked away, her heart pounding far too loudly in her chest, she heard his voice call out softly behind her.
“Until next time, Seraphina.”
She didn’t look back, but something told her he was still watching her, his presence lingering in the air like a shadow she couldn’t escape.
And despite herself, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to.

As I Am
Emmett Cullen X Rosalie Hale X Poly!Reader
Was definitely surprised to get two requests for this over the last few months, so I figured I should post them back to back.
There is no such thing as an easy life, but you always felt that you were under the spectrum of simple: not because you had money, but because your family had a position. People flocked to the family step, believing that if they curry favor then they suddenly hold the same position, but that is not how it works. It has never worked like that. You know who is there as a friend, and those who are phonies. No matter what, you will never accept strangers into your way of life-- they can bring as many gifts, propose in the most extravagant ways, but you will never see them as equals. No way to forget what you already know-- that they are just there to earn the right to be a part of your world.
“Y/N?” You glance upwards, placing your spoon onto the table as you smile up at your father.
“Yes?” There is a moment of hesitation, you watch his eyes flicker upwards and then back towards you-- the apple of his eye and only daughter. Yes, he has three sons who are all very successful in there fields, but it is you who brings him joy.
“Since you turned seventeen-” Your eyebrows furrowed together as you breathe in deeply, completely sure of one thing as your corset tightens as your lungs expand-- that he wants you to do the one thing you don’t want to do. “It is time for you to marry.” With that, you stand abruptly, dress moving and swishing with your movement as he places both hands on the table.
“You cannot expect-” He cuts you off, silencing you with his dark gaze-- disappointed, angry, emotions that you had never seen him express towards you. Then you are gone, unable to speak or force the words out of your throat. Unable to face him, so you disappear into the courtyard and into the night.
Bella stares at you with perplexion as you whisper out the words, it has been well over four hundred years—you were born in the early 16th century, in the center of Italian society. With time, you were able to move forward with your new immortal life, however, there will always be pain. You never got to apologize, or see your father again. You never saw your brothers. After that night, all you knew was the Volturi and their cruelty.
“Demetri was drawn to my gift.” You pause, trying to find the right words to explain what happened to you. How it changed you into the person you are today. “When I entered the courtyard, I thought about the possibility of marriage—I thought I wasn’t ready to give up my freedom, but I wanted to make my father proud. I was about to re-enter my house when I was grabbed, I couldn’t scream or breathe.” You purse your lips together tightly, trying to imagine a darker time in your existence than those first hundred years.
“Bella, I spent two decades trapped with the Volturi--just two… But I spent the next century rampaging through Europe and then the Americas. I wish I could say I didn’t remember, but I do--” You pause, your eyes flashing darkly as memories of your Ripper years invade your mind. “I was a Ripper. I didn’t kill to feed, I killed to kill. The hunt was fun, and the blood was just blood.” You shrug, even heavily pregnant—you can see Bella shifting as you speak hushly.
“I was worse than James.” You the knowing look in her eyes as she recalls one of the scariest moments, the fear. The way you knew how he thought, because it was you. It made sense.
“And we never thought twice.” Her sweet voice is soft, tender and loving—more kind than she’s with anyone else, but you aren’t just anyone.
“I’m not telling this to scare you, but you need to know what you’re getting yourself into. The risk that comes from being a vampire and the truth that you might not be epic like everyone else.” You pause, your gift is not unique but it does harness enough power. It’s a form of manipulation, you can say anything and it just sounds so true. So convincing, as long as you touch them. Your white gloved hands look so pristine against the dark blue of your pants. “You could be a Ripper. You could be anything, and I can’t let you believe that this is going to be easy.” Rosalie keeps you close, chin resting on your shoulder as your voice trails off and leaves Bella sullen, Edward will probably smack you upside the head later for scaring her, but it's the truth.
There’s comfort as you walk away from Bella, following the gentle tugs of Rosalie as she takes you towards the bedroom. She doesn’t say a word because that’s a part of the agreement, no one gets to say a word about the pain or the bad things you’ve done. You three decided that a long time ago, before Bella and before Forks.
Even as the door shuts, the click that eases your mind as she finally meets your eye. You imagine she had beautiful eyes as a human, violet as she called them, but you imagine them as gems. Too rare to be labeled with such an average color, because it's Rosalie. Your Rose. She smiles, you see the ghost of your past and the guilt rises until you are forced to look away.
Yet she does not keep your eyes linger on the floor for long as she lifts your chin so you look her in the eye, to her--you are beautiful. Her smile is not so sad, but it has warmed and that warmth attracts your hands to her waist. Beautiful. You trace her hips, fingers trailing as you imagine loving a more beautiful creature.
The innocence of touch.
You had thought it would be easy to forget the way her touch felt, to wallow in your self-pity a few minutes more, but she doesn’t let you. She never has. Her thumbs rest on the highest point of your cheeks and it silences the voices, and you cave. Your eyes shutting tightly as you learn into her touch, grabbing her tight and pulling her close. She sets you on fire, and you try to remember what it feels like to cry because that’s what you would be doing right now.
“I love you, Y/N.” She makes all the voices go quiet, “Us finding you was never a mistake.”
Your chest heaves, but it is. You are tainted, burned and scarred, skin raised from the abuse of your existence. Every fiber of your essence is stained red, it bleeds into your palms and now you’re this. The silent stoic. Rose is frigid. And Emmett, he’s just the purest form of all the good in the world. What a group you make… Such a broken mismatch trio, but it worked--they made you feel something.
Emmett’s arms sneak around the pair, his grasp is tight as he buries his face in your hair--pressing a kiss to the top of your head and then leaning over to press a kiss to Rose’s. “If I had known you both would be in your feels before I got back, I wouldn’t have left at all.” His voice is not judgemental or harsh, but it flows off his tongue and lulls your fear. It tucks it all away into a box and the lightness to his tone.
“Y/N told Bella.” He breathes out an ‘oh’: these are his girls, his beautiful and amazing wonders that sit before him every day. The ones that choose him everyday despite them being two gorgeous creatures that could run off together, but they don’t.
“I had to. She has to know.” Ripper’s aren’t rare at all, usually the Volturi takes care of them, but sometimes they don't. Sometimes they just let things fall as they do, and hope they don’t take it too far.
“Well we love you as you are.” Emmett doesn’t hesitate, and you smile reciting the mantra back.
“As I am.”

Demetri Volturi w/ His Mate Mood Board

How can I forget everyone's favorite Casanova, he's easily in my top 5 favorite Twilight characters. This man would be over the top spoiling his mate. He would probably always have fresh flowers for his mate everyday.
