Aprovechando que ya son vacaciones de invierno, vengo a promocionar nuevamente el podcast que tengo con @lavampiremerveilleuse. Se llama “Brujas y Duelos” y pueden escucharlo en Acast, Spotify y Apple Podcast. Literatura:

Dance- Demelza Carlton

Se trata de una nueva versión de La Cenicienta con elementos parecidos a Mulan, aunque termina siendo su propia historia. Si les parece extraño que esta versión tome lugar en un país parecido a China, en el podcast comentamos que una de las versiones más antiguas de este cuento proviene de China y de hecho la novela retoma ciertos elementos de dicha historia. En el primer episodio recontamos parte de la novela y en la segunda parte realizamos un análisis.

La Tempestad- William Shakespeare

Por razones que tienen bastante que ver con el podcast, nos tomamos la oportunidad de leer y ver una representación grabada de “La Tempestad”. No tenemos ninguna especialidad en William Shakespeare, pero nos ayudamos bastante con “The Tempest Navigator”. Estos capítulos contienen un recuento de la obra, así como ciertas explicaciones y detalles literarios e históricos. En general, como un primer acercamiento a Shakespeare, creo que nos quedó bien y fue bastante divertido de grabar.

Comentario sobre una pequeña historia escrita por Ichirou Okouchi que tiene lugar entre el prólogo y el capítulo 1 de La Bruja de Mercurio. Lo incluyo porque no todo el mundo sabe de esta historia que explica algunas cosas sobre cierto personaje.

Me enganche un buen con los libros de Demelza Carlton . Es curiosa y es divertido ver como maneja Perth , Australia como su Maine.

Las pesadillas de Caitlyn Lockyear me parece su obra mas débil. Lo siento como que el caso de que trato de manejar tematicas bien pesadas y le falto el cachito... es dificil eso de hacer una obra alrededor de una mujer en el refrigerador y que no se sienta barato.

y la verdad la que si bien yo la dejaria hasta el fondo en el ranking, pero incluso su obra que menos me gusta tiene algo de... intrigante... ahi supongo entra el como si me logre apegarme a los protagonistas, caray creo que fui de las que aplaudí mas duro cuando salió su epilogo en otra serie de libros y les estaba yendo bien.

Tambien me quede pensando si la autora accidentalmente o intencionalmente deconstruyo varias cosas comunes en el anime. Tenemos basicamente una adolescente que vive la mayoria del tiempo sola en su casa porque su mamá murio de chica y el papa trabaja fuera (plataforma petrolera) Y en la misma otro chavo ya adulto y su hermana adolescente que igual suelen tener la casa para ellos solos casi siempre porque los papas son asesores financieros de gente de Dubai. Mucha de la trama puede ocurrir porque no estan ahi pero pues si es obvio que estas personas no andan que digas bien alegres por vivir asi.

En otra trama seria personaje de anime o rpg japones seguro. En esta, mentalmente es un desmadre. Le pego el estres postraumatico duro, tiene un monton de mecanismos para lidiar, mas de un lustro despues sigue teniendo pesadillas, se ve que va mantener algo de claustrofobia y paranoia al menos otro rato mas y su relación con su interes amoroso cae en la codependencia.

El vato no me suena tanto a uno de anime, pero tambien me suena a deconstrucción de algo supongo que de un thriller. Mas alla del ya mencionado semi abandono familiar, mataron a su hermana de forma terrible, y termino contratado por la ASIO (el cuerpo de inteligencia de Australia, la CIA de Australia pues) por debajo del agua con la esperanza de encontrar a los responsables. El vato es fuertote y bueno con las armas, tiene casi casi el poder mutante de ser irresistible a cuanta mujer hetero se le pone por enfrente (literalmente su jefe en la ASIO lo mandaba a ser encantador por donde oian que podia haber algo a ver si alguien por ahi soltaba la boca) Es sobreviviente de accion de lo mismo que le paso a Caitlyn y mato a los que ella no se echó.

5 años despues sigue traumatizado, no puede dormir sin pastillas. Ya no pudo terminar la carrera de medicina del doble trauma, y es hora de que solo ha podido agarrar chambas de seguridad. y pues si, otro codependiente.

Obvio al final van a finalmente quedar juntos y ahora si van a poder lidiar mejor con sus pedos (De paso, no es lo mismo lidiar con esos traumas en casa propia durmiendo en camas de dinero que viviendo al día ) pero pues si se siente deconstrucción de algo ,no se.
