How did I get here? You thought as the outline of chalk faded from the brick wall. You and Lydia ran through the corridor entering the land of the undead. "Y/n, follow me. I've been here before."
"Yeah, and look what happened. Your daughter got kidnapped twice. This time it isn't some crazed ghost boy. It's your lover boy's ex-wife." You stomped mad as hell. Your boots scuffing the checkered tile. "Delores!? I watched her die! She got eaten by a sandworm!" Lydia stopped in her tracks in disbelief. "Yeah, well my sources tell me that she somehow dug her way out of the sandworm’s stomach before she was digested. Sorry about your boyfriend though." You motioned her to keep up as time was of the essence.
"I could give a shit about him, we need to find Astrid! Why did Delores take her?"
"Some sort of witch magic Delores got her stitched hands on, she posed as Astrid's father in the living and when Astrid came close enough to her she snatched her to the afterlife." You spoke sternly as your best friend was taken. Your parents were exorcists, but one day something went awry, and you were an infant caught in the crossfire. You were deeply affected resulting in your ability to pass through the afterlife and the living. "Well, Y/n we should turn here I think I remember a shortcut." Lydia pointed to the left whereas you were destined to go straight on. "Lydia, come now. Why not call that bio-exorcist dude? Beetle-"
"No! Don't say his name! Ever! We already have enough problems, let alone letting him get in this mess!" Lydia turned, once you two met face to face the lights in the distorted hallway dimmed turning pitch black. A sharp chill ran throughout your spine as though someone slid their fingers down your skin.
A blue light emerged, revealing Delores at the end of the hall with a firm grasp around Astrid's neck. "Hello Lydia, it's been a minute," Delores smirked. Her pale skin shone in the light as though a spotlight appeared.
"Give me back my daughter Delores! I don't want your husband!" Lydia tried to move her feet but was stopped. Her foot froze not touching the floor.
"Oh," Delores chuckled. "You think I want him? Well, let's just say I'm getting a proper divorce. Being said that however if I can't have him, no woman can." She flicked her wrist flying Lydia backwards crashing into an array of swinging doors down another hallway. Astrid screamed out in fear her mother was injured. You stood motionless as you watched Astrid's small body in comparison to Delore's be disregarded to the ground. She fell to her back wheezing out a cough. Delores lifted her hand again flicking her wrist, as Astrid caught her breath she was flung in the air her body stuck to the ceiling.
"You made your point. Why me? Our paths never crossed!" You spat as Delores's body cascaded down the hall meeting you. She grinned again tracing her index along the wall. The wall began to crack where her finger lay. "We have not met? Surely you must remember? Did it not matter to you!?" Her hand left the wall snatching your throat and lifted you off the floor. You gasped for air as Delores's hand clenched, her nails dug into your skin. She pulled your face closer to hers. Her lips brushed yours with every breath. Her grin remained as she exhaled out. Your lips met with hers inhaling in, the pit of your stomach dropped and you became lightheaded. Delores exhaled and you quickly regained your senses. Feeling your soul come back to your body.
You did remember. That night, you were passing through a portal during a rather gruesome exorcism. You saw a woman mangled. She was carrying her calf in hand with a stapler. Shaking her limbs out leaving a trail of sand. Her body was wet, you initially thought it was water but upon further inspection, it was thicker than water. Like saliva. The woman's stitches were rusted, and her makeup was ruined, running past her chin to her neck. You stopped for a moment to lend a hand. After all, you thought she was in rougher shape than what you were dealing with. So you helped her remove and staple her body back.
You could not believe you had forgotten that. You were beginning to get lightheaded again as your feet dangled. "C-Can we talk please...put me down," You wheezed. "We can sort this out can't we." You coughed out as the floor underneath Delores became fuzzy. Delores smirked dropping you to the floor. Your feet felt like pins and needles trying to stand up. "Okay, let's talk. In private." Delores kicked your stomach latching your arm and dragging you down the hallway. Further from where Lydia and yourself entered. Your eyes fluttered as the double doors faded in the distance and the hall became more distorted. You blacked out.
‿̩͙‿ ༺ ♰ ༻ ‿̩͙‿
You awoke on a velvet red decrepit couch. In what looks to be a cubicle office. 6 desks in an array in the middle of the office. Every desk had a phone ringing off the hook but no one to tend to them. Delores caught your eye as she stood on a balcony. You guessed perhaps where the manager of these cubicles sat. "So you decided to wake up? So glad you could join me.” Delores cascaded down the stairs, her dress flowed making it so that she had no feet. Just gliding along the laminate.
"Where the hell am I?" You arose to your feet, you were halted by Delores's hand as she pushed you back down. She smirked as her body bent down on top of you. Funny, at this moment you should have been scared but all you could think about was how far those stitches along Delores's chest went. "As you said, you wanted to talk huh? Sort things out? We can, but I think we can do more than talk." Delores's breathed out dragging her tongue across her teeth. Perhaps you were imagining things or maybe you weren't but it seemed this wasn't a revenge or hostage situation. You started to wish it was.
"W-what do you want to talk about Delores? I have nothing to give you. If you want me to bring you to the living it's impossible! You're not Beetlejuic-..." You were hushed by one of Delores's stitched fingers. "I don't want that Y/n. No need to say his name." Her Italian accent layered thick. "I want you. Your kindness has touched this heart of mine so dearly, my love." Delores's hand snatched your chin lifting your body off the couch. Your boots dragged against the laminate flooring. "Me?! Why? All I did was stitch you back up!"
"Of course amore, the way you touched every part of me...ah...so sensually. Like you cared for me and my body." Delores's other hand traced her body starting from her hips and making her way up to her chest, then to her shoulder. "I stapled you. That's your turn-on? Jesus, the dead are all morally grey." I choked with the frequent buzzing noise from far away. "You are too Y/n, you are 'morally grey'. I saw it." Her hand left her collarbone tracing her thumb along my cheek. "Saw what Delores? All I do is exorcisms in the afterlife, nothing more!"
"Huh, funny because I remember following you a couple of weeks back...you were saving...merda....who was it? Yes! A little girl! You thought you could hide it afterwards. Sneak away sorta speak." Delores let go of her jaw as your boots hit the floor and your body fell to your knees. You slumped forward as you were able to breathe again. You were at eye level with Delores's heels "So you were stalking me?" You spat unpeeling your cheek from the floor. You peered above to see Delores looking down on you. "Stalking is such a hard word, my love, I would say watching, looking out for you if anything would ever occur." She grinned ear to stapled ear playing with her finger. Thrusting that exact finger in and out of her other hand. If you weren't scared shitless you're dirty mind would've taken over by now.
"Like a guardian angel, I suppose?" Your hands fell to your knees wanting to rise from the floor. Delores stopped you again by resting her hand firmly on your head. "Not the word I would use but in a sense. Ever since we met I have had this burning desire. This tingly feeling, as though, I am alive again!"
"So you're obsessed with me? That's why you kidnapped Astrid!" Delores grin disappeared eruptly. "Why the hell are so worried about that stupid girl?!" Delores rushed towards you as tried to scurry away. Her hand latched onto your belt dragging you back to her. "She can't give you what I can! And I know you can give me what I want! I saw you! With that Miss Argentina chick in the breakroom!" Delores's flipped you back on your knees pressing one of her heels to your thigh. You whinced as her strength held you down. "I want you to give me that. Just like you gave to that little civil servant." Delores's knee slid slowly grazing your temple as she lifted the skirt of her gown. You soon realized Delores had no staples on her thighs, only above her kneecaps. If you weren't so pissed off at the moment you would have found this hot. Who were you kidding? You found this hot regardless.
"Delores! No! Come on! You're a beautiful woman but I hardly know you!"
"Well, I survived the Black Plague. I enjoy the opera and wine. I ran a cult in Italy sucking souls to chase immortality and had a fun time doing that, then I got married and got chopped into tiny pieces! Got it? Great! Start licking!" Delores's hand grasped a fistful of your hair tilting your head back. Slamming your face into Delores's center.
"Hmph-..." You tried to speak or push away with your tongue but that drove Delores crazier more than she already was. "Oh-...How about you put those lips to work instead of just talking huh?" Delores groaned smushing your face against her parted lips. You couldn't fight it let alone breathe at this rate. You just had to give in. Though, after you finally caved you didn't object. Your tongue parted Delores's glossy folds feeling her cold body temperature shake up. Her slick warmth began to run down your chin. Delores's thigh starts to twitch against your head. Her skin lightly tapped your cheek. "Uh huh, I need to feel you…Now!" Her Italian accent caked in her groans. Your hands latched onto Delores's thighs caressing her skin. You could feel each staple protruding.
Delores’s hips slowly bucked maintaining the rhythm of your tongue. Her breath hitched with every flick your tongue made. Your tongue continued to soak up Delores as the tip of your tongue traced Delores’s clit rolling it back and forth against you. Delores’s head tilted back sucking a breath back. “Porca miseria…Are you gonna be a good girl for me? Huh-ah!" She moaned out with her hair flying behind her back. The way she murmurs pure Italian filth while they’re touching your hair. Her fingers interlocking in your stands forcefully pushing your face in place. Your tongue slid from Delores's clit to her folds, gently tugging her lips. Sucking each side. "Of course Delor-..." You were shut up by Delores's hand forcefully.
"Just… right there! That feels so good-..." Delores whimpered out. "Suck on it." She ordered. Your jaw tilted going back to her clit, trying to lap up her juices from running down your neck. Delores stomped her heel on your thigh, it did sting but you did not care. You know she couldn't help it. You felt every muscle twitch against your tongue. You shuddered at the thought of being discovered, you shook the feeling continuing to work on Delores's pussy. You found yourself enjoying it even if you did protest at first. You usually do.
Delores's hips began to grind on your tongue, harshly straddling your face. Her small grunts escaping her lips grew louder. "Oh god...buono...I'm going to cu-ah!" Delores's orgasm came by no surprise for you, you felt it build just not knowing when it would finally come. Delores's fingers squeezed tighter into your scalp with a strange sound. A snapping sound you would say. It wasn't until you heard the sound of a staple plummeting to the floor did you realized it was a part of her.
"That’s it, fuck, that’s a good girl. Swallow it. All of it." Delore's head tilted back as her free hand ushered her hair to fall back off her shoulder. She cooed herself trying to contain her composure. You did as were told, licking up the mess you created. Delores's let up her heel on your thigh but you still felt her heel digging even if she wasn't there anymore. A little hole in your jeans was created.
"Haha! Well amore, I guess you earned your friend back huh?" You watched as she bent down retrieving her severed ring finger off the floor behind you. Delores made attempts to re-attach her finger without assistance but you watched in pity. You watched her lean back to grab a staplegun lying beside the couch. You rose from your knees before this statuesque corpse bride. "Here, you're still shakey. You're going to staple the damn thing backwards." You twisted her finger to have her nail facing you. You stroked her hand lending you the stapler, you positioned it and without hesitation, the stapler went off. A few clicks around her finger. Something that did not bug Delores any longer. The pain you mean.
"Bravo! Where would I be without you Y/n."
"Still here Del. You don't need me." You threw the stapler onto a cushion. "Now, about Astrid." You were hushed again by Delore's re-attached finger. "No, no. We don't need her. We just need each other." Delores leaned in softly grazing her lips across yours.
"Halt! You Succubus!" A loud crash erupted behind you, as a green man appeared in a black and white striped suit. "Toro! Toro!" He crashed through a brick wall waving a red cape.
"Beetlejuice!" Delores barked throwing you behind her. "Eeek!" This Beetle-maniac silenced Delores by stapling her mouth shut. "Phew! I wish I did that when we first got hitched, Huh honey?" The green menace grimaced. The beetle-man whistled over to me.
"Hey! You! Yeah, you better scram! The ex and I need couples therapy if you catch my drift." He winked still taunting Delores. Delores ripped out the staples spewing Italian profanities at the bio-exorcist which made him break a sweat. Delores flicked her hand sending the green dude pinned against a wall. You scurried out before the chance of being discovered as they both had to work their shit out.
"Now, where the hell is everybody!"

DELORES PART 1 • Five Hargreeves x Fem!Reader
something sweet to soothe your anger dearest brellies 🥰 takes place during season 4 episode 1, no warning all safe. enjoy !
Tumblr media
Y/N had worked with Five at the Commission. She was with him on the day of JFK's assassination, and when he mentioned the possibility of escaping the company, she thought, why not? The Handler still hadn't given her the promotion she'd been promised 15 years ago, and the health insurance was worthless by then ...
Y/N followed Five through three apocalypses, becoming a teenager again. At least she no longer had the beginnings of arthritis, which she was more grateful for than her colleague. The Hargreeves quickly took Y/N under their wing, appreciating her a lot, especially since she had the gift of shutting Five up.
Y/N and Five became very good friends. Once the umbrella Academy lost their powers in this new timeline, Y/N chose to open a bookstore, while Five became a CIA agent. They met from time to time, enjoying each other's company over a black coffee on a terrace. In six years, nothing ambiguous had happened between them. Y/N wasn't sure if she wanted it to or not—it was a strange feeling. But now, with her new life started, she had time. If Five was interested, he would make a move; if not, so be it. But this was the calm before the storm...
Five entered the secret meeting set in an apartment with a classy, dimly lit atmosphere. The place was spacious, hosting about thirty people. Five smoothed his mustache, grabbed a glass of champagne from the buffet, and scanned the room. Just as he thought he recognized Lila, another young woman caught his attention. She was leaning against the balcony, her face hidden as she stood with her back to him. She had long, straight auburn hair, styled with a yellow beret. She was wearing a white shirt with black polka dots, neatly tucked into her pencil skirt.
Five felt a drop of sweat trickle down his temple and took a deep breath before joining her. He also leaned on the balcony, just like she did, barely daring to look at her.
"Beautiful night, isn’t it?" Y/N murmured, a simple smile on her lips.
She didn’t meet his gaze either, which slightly irritated Five. He finally turned his head and recognized Y/N.
"What the hell are you doing ..."
The words escaped his mouth when he noticed the name on her nametag : Delores. Five almost choked on his champagne.
"Yeah, the champagne is disgusting, I agree. But the hors d'oeuvres are delicious though. You should try them!" "What are you doing here? Don’t tell me you’re part of this ridiculous support group ..."
Y/N burst into laughter, shaking her head.
"Oh no, no ... I came with "Nancy" so Diego wouldn’t ask too many questions. But this wig is seriously itching. It's awful." Y/N explained, amused, scratching her scalp.
She then turned her attention to Five and looked at his nametag.
"Jerome? That doesn’t suit you very well. I wonder where you got that name..." "It wasn’t my choice. And where did you get yours?" he retorted, frowning.
Y/N raised an eyebrow, surprised by his sudden cold and somewhat aggressive tone.
"I like that name." Y/N simply said. "And that shirt—do you like it too? It’s hideous." "I found it in a thrift shop—it seemed nice... hey! What’s gotten into you?" Y/N finally exclaimed. "Bullshit." "Five what the hell!"
Y/N seemed sincere. She had no idea what her cover name meant to him. After all these years, he had never told her about Delores. Instead of apologizing, he downed his glass of champagne.
"So, those hors d'oeuvres?" Five asked.
Y/N laughed lightly, understanding it was his awkward way of apologizing. Just as she was about to praise the treats, Jean and Gene appeared, announcing the start of the meeting.
What followed was a very eventful evening. The Umbrella Effect, interacting with Jean and Gene, dining with Lila and Five, Viktor's kidnapping... it felt like the old days! And throughout it all, Five kept giving Y/N odd looks. Why had fate embedded the love of his life so clearly in his friend and colleague? Five didn’t believe in coincidences; he never had.
Y/N had noticed those supposedly discreet glances, which intrigued her a lot. Especially since she could feel her cheeks flush like a 16-year-old girl.
Despite everything, the Hargreeves ended their evening at an Asian restaurant to debrief. Having retrieved the Marigold thanks to Sy, most of them decided not to take it. This surprised Y/N a lot. Powers... that was the dream, wasn’t it?
While Ben was in the bathroom, Y/N leaned toward Five.
"Imagine what you could do for the CIA with your teleportation..." she whispered. "Shut up, Y/N." Five murmured. "No, but seriously! I don’t know what I’d give to be special like you guys were! If it were up to me, I’d drink that jar dry!"
Five chuckled sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
"If you think this is one of those stupid Marvel movies, think again. Having powers comes with great responsibilities, sure—the responsibility to control them and not cause an apocalypse." "Killjoy..." Y/N sighed. "And for your information..." Five hesitated before continuing in a lower voice, leaning a bit closer to her. "You don’t need that to be... special."
Coming from his mouth, it sounded weird. Reaching her ears, it sounded weird. Y/N sat up straight and silently thanked some higher force when Ben arrived with a tray of eight shots. While everyone found an excuse to leave, Ben convinced them to drink. "For old time's sake," he said.
Everyone gave in, and when Y/N realized she didn’t have a glass, she felt disheartened.
"Can’t I celebrate our reunion?" she asked. "You're not part of the family." Ben snapped. "Wow, Ben, that’s rude!" Luther exclaimed. "Y/N is more family than you ever were." Five groaned, pointing a threatening finger at him. "No, it's fine, let it go, Five." Y/N sighed, though Five’s words had touched her.
She stepped aside, letting them toast. Just as everyone raised their glasses to their lips, Klaus nudged Y/N and handed her his glass.
"OnJanuary 15th, it'll be 3 years that I am sober. Tonight’s not the night I’ll mess that up, and certainly not for old time's sake." Klaus whispered. "I can’t accept that ..." Y/N politely refused. "Oh, come on, down it or I’ll tell everyone you slept with Five at Luther’s wedding."
Y/N gasped, grabbed the glass, drank it down in record time, and handed it back to Klaus. No one seemed to notice the trick, and that was just as well.
Y/N still had that awful taste in her mouth. Maybe she shouldn’t have drunk that glass. After all, Klaus was lying. Wasn’t he? It was true she had a total blackout that night, but... her and Five? No... right?
Once outside, everyone said their goodbyes. As Y/N tried to figure out where Klaus had gone so she could question him, a car pulled up next to her. The passenger window rolled down, and she bent down to see the driver. It was Five.
"I’ll give you a ride." "No, it’s okay, I’m not far..." "That wasn’t a question," Five said, leaning over to open the passenger door.
Y/N sighed but couldn’t help smiling. She got in, buckled up, and Five started the car.
"Be honest with me, Y/N." he said seriously, focusing on the road. "Mmh?" "Why Delores? And why that damn polka dot shirt?"
Y/N widened her eyes.
"You're still hung up on that!" she exclaimed. "I’ve changed since then..." "Stop it right now, Y/N. This isn’t funny," he growled. "Look, Five, I don’t understand! You’re completely crazy!" "Why Delores?" "I don’t know, okay?" she yelled back. "I don’t know."
She repeated the sentence silently to herself.
"The name just came to me, and the shirt was the cheapest... I swear, Five, I’ve never been more honest with you..."
Five finally looked at her and realized she was telling the truth. When they arrived at the bookstore, he parked on the side of the road.
"I’m sorry, Y/N... it’s just that... I knew a Delores a long time ago, and... she looked just like you."
Y/N, surprised, met his gaze and tilted her head to the side.
"I never thought the famous Five Hargreeves had a romance," she breathed.
Five nodded , locking eyes with her sparkling ones. He had always loved that color, though he would never admit it. He looked away, eyes fixed on the steering-wheel. Fortunately Y/N didn't know Delores was a mannequin. Five kept silent, thinking about this damn coincidence and its probable meaning.
Y/N didn’t know what to say so she got out of the car, feeling unsettled. As she headed towards the bookstore, she suddenly stopped, turned around, and walked back to the car, leaning against the window on Five’s side.
“Be honest with me, Five.” she said seriously.
Five chuckled softly, amused by this ongoing joke, and nodded, signaling her to continue.
“What happened at Luther’s wedding?” she asked suddenly.
Five frowned. Why was she asking about that now?
“They got married,” he said simply. “Haha, very funny. No, seriously, between us... did something happen?”
Five discreetly swallowed and started the car.
“You should go home, it’s getting late.”
Y/N groaned and walked around the front of the car again so that he couldn't leave, suddenly opening the passenger door and sitting down.
“What are you doing…?” “You agreed to be honest with me. And you’re not. So I won’t move until…” “Fine.” "Oh, that was quick."
Five immediately started driving and continued in silence.
“Aren’t you going to say something?” “No.” “So, is this a kidnapping?” “Call it whatever you want. You learned how to jump out of a moving car at the Commission, so if your ass is still in that seat, it means you don’t really want to leave.”
Point for him. The silence was fine at the beginning, but it grew heavier and heavier minutes after minutes. Y/N was relieved when she recognized the streets as they were arriving at the parking lot of Five's apartment. He turned off the car and slumped further into his seat. Y/N could tell he was hiding something.
“So. Did we sleep together that night?” she asked bluntly.
Five’s eyes widened.
“What! Who told you that nonsense?” he exclaimed with an amused tone. “Klaus… he…” “You know Klaus always exaggerates, Y/N…”
Y/N lowered her eyes, embarrassed for having believed it so easily. Five noticed her distress and sighed. He rummaged through an inner pocket of his jacket, hesitating before pulling out a Polaroid photo. He handed it to Y/N nonchalantly. She looked at him, then at the photo, which she took with apprehension. It was taken at Luther’s wedding. Y/N and Five were on stage. A microphone stand separated them, only a few centimeters from each other's face. They looked completely drunk, which explained why they were singing so close and why Y/N had no memory of it.
“Just imagine eyes like moon rise, a voice like music, lips like wine.” Five muttered, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.
Y/N looked up at him. Those were the lyrics to a love song by Frank Sinatra, yet it sounded oddly different coming from his mouth.
“Please, tell me…” she whispered.
Five sighed, knowing full well he had reached a point of no return.
“We overdid it on the alcohol that night. And with the apocalypse looming... it makes you do things you wouldn’t normally be capable of.”
He paused, but Y/N smiled, encouraging him to continue.
“You seemed different that night. You had no filter. You never had one when it came to annoying me, but for saying nice things, well... and you were really beautiful. And without thinking, I grabbed that mic and sang that stupid Sinatra song. And you looked at me with those eyes. They sparkled like… like the Kugelblitz. Almost more. And you joined me, and we made quite the duo, I must say. I can't fucking remember the name of the song as we were only babbling incomprehensible lyrics.”
Y/N was speechless.
“So…” “No sex. Pure fluff, even though it’s a disgusting word to say.”
Y/N chuckled.
“And you kissed me,” Five finally said, emotionless.
Everything seemed so unreal, yet he looked sincere.
“Why didn’t you tell me for six years?” she asked, shocked. “I… I chickened out. You didn’t remember, so it gave you the chance to start fresh.”
Suddenly, Y/N slapped him across the face, the sound of the slap echoing through Dallas. Five didn't blink, feeling like it was deserved somehow.
“You’re such an idiot.” “I know.”
They remained silent for a moment, staring into each other’s eyes. If any member of the Umbrella Academy had the power to read minds, they would’ve run away, given the turmoil that stirred within them.
Y/N thought back to all those moments spent with Five, and of course, they had a different flavor than those shared with an actual colleague. Despite their constant teasing, Five had always been there for Y/N, and vice versa. They understood each other, given their age and experience. Everything suddenly became clear.
And then, in perfect synchronization, they kissed passionately, Y/N placing her hands on Five’s cheeks while he firmly gripped her waist. It was a fiery kiss, making up for all the lost time due to misplaced pride. Out of breath, Y/N pulled back slightly to look at him, a smirk on her lips.
“What? Don’t make me regret what just happened…” Five chuckled. “Firsy things first, secretly keeping a picture of me is weird. Secondly, the song by Sinatra ... It is named Dolores. Just saying…” Y/N laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear that had fallen over his bright eyes.
"Shut it." he groaned, pecking your lips to make you silent. But then , he approaches his lips to your ear, whispering.
“It seems that no matter the timeline, I’m destined to have a Delores getting in my way.”
Y/N burst out laughing, and Five couldn’t help but smile sincerely. It felt good to come out of his shell, especially for Y/N. Five invited Y/N to spend the night at his place. This sudden happiness seemed surreal, yet it was very real. The idea of a normal life together seemed so pleasant. If only they knew ...
here it is, i really hope you liked it ! sorry if you spotted some mistakes, English isn’t my first language.
would you be interested in a part 2 now that Y/N swallowed up a shot of marigold ? just sayin’ … 😏

The honeymoon phase would go insane with Five.
When you first start dating he’d be so gentlemanly and sweet but the longer you’re together the more he does not give a shit cause he knows you’re in deep.
He still loves you and shows you he does but he’s no longer spacial jumping to open the car door for you before you can even undo your seatbelt.
He’ll open doors for you always but he doesn’t need to impress you anymore cause he knows y’all are locked in

You know what would be funny? Beetlejuice watching Delores and Y/n fighting over him (pls make some headcanons about it)
Oh fuck 🕸️
;; now this is what i'm talking about👀¦🕸️
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
🕸️ 🕸️
Sorry that you had to wait love
Of course it was.. Not something They would expect.
Oh they weren't so happy. Slight jealousy? I mean.. Dude. You still have eyes for a woman who treated you like dog?
I mean.. Everyone has their own taste yet.
Dude.
Reader glaring at Delores, Delores glaring at them. There was just an uncomfortable silence between these two, Beetlejuice.. Was still in his world.
Of course it would be something else if they are together.
Reader would go furious.. We ain't no bitch - if someone expected Y/N be all bitchy.. Well they are but not in the sad manner
More like "you wanna watch other woman?! Not in my movie!"
Beetlejuice at first would try to deny it, then it would slowly turn into argument - a big one.. Kinda.
They wouldn't drop the act so quickly, getting emotional? You can forget! They wouldn't stop until he shuts his mouth and apologizes
Yet when it came to Delores - oh they would throw hands.
Probably ending up badly injured, yet Delores would also be injured - at least a bit
Literally, a damn disaster

Beatrice Bloodfang: [+100]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Beatrice Bloodfang is a vampire-spider hybrid demonspawn coming from a long bloodline of wealthy and royal vampires with a vast number of grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins within her large family tree. She is in the sixth generation, along with several of her cousins from Transylvania. Her great-great-great-grandfather was Count Nosferatu and her great-great-great-grandmother was an unnamed vampire who unfortunately died at the hands of an angry mob; her great-great-grandfather was Count Vladimir who had numerous wives and children and grandchildren; her great-grandmother was a vampire named Countess Elizabeth Bathory who remarried ten times before giving up on marriage and started to raise her children alone; her grandfather Dracula and grandmother Elisabeta had her father, Count Greg, who is more of an average family guy who likes to watch golf on Saturday mornings than a traditional vampire, who also married an intelligent and giant black widow spider demon named Myrle.
Beatrice has navy blue hair with dark purple streaks, blood red eyes with dark eyeshadow and long eyelashes, pale skin, wears dark makeup, long black nails, long fangs, and has a curvey and lean body. She has the abilities of your average vampire, with some limitations removed due to being half spider, like able to eat garlic, can view her reflection, and can walk into a home without being invited (but she won't do that because it's rude), but she unfortunately has sensitive skin and can't be in the sun for a long time. She can transform into a swarm of bats, a large bat with four wings, a swarm of black widows, a black widow that is much larger than Ginger, a black cobra, a black timber wolf, and a thick smokey fog. She can turn invisible, float, summon a pair of bat wings, sleep upside down, place people in a trance or force them to fall asleep, force cats, snakes, rats, crows, ravens, and wolves to obey her commands, has supernatural strength, supernatural agility, and can teleport. She has the ability to turn into a giant demonic bat-spider abomination, but usually saves that form for emergencies. She has a blue and indigo vampire poodle named Vivi. She loves fashion and cosmetics, and has her own brand of makeup and creates and sells her own clothes.
When Lydia's boutique was sent to the Netherworld, Beatrice decided to pay a visit and was astonished at the marvelous clothing designs. Beetlejuice overheard her asking herself who could create such beautiful outfits and presented himself, boasting how his friend Lydia Deetz made them herself. Intrigued, the vampire asked to meet Lydia, and both fashionistas would be introduced to each other by BJ. After hanging with the duo for a while, both Lyds and BJ realized how much of a good person Beatriz is, and especially Beetlejuice, who was feeling in need of a partner. So Lydia offered to be Beetlejuice's wingman and helped him go on a date with Beatrice. The date went well, and both adults officially became boyfriend and girlfriend with a night of Monopoly and hot chocolate with Lydia.
A couple weeks later, Beatrice hasn't exactly moved in, but has proven to be great wife material by cooking delicious food for everyone, great at cleaning, and providing for Beetlejuice's every need. She would grow closer to Lydia and come to see her as a daughter. And after her and Beetlejuice's wedding, she would become Lydia's godmother and work at the boutique.
She also had dated BJ’s ex wife, Delores, after the newlyweds murdered each other on their honeymoon, for a short time (when Delores tried to suck Beatrice’s soul out of her and failed when the vampire spawn French kissed the cultist—stuffing her long tongue down Delores’ throat).

Tumblr media
Dmitri x plus size f!reader
Warnings: SMUT. Fingering, dirty talk, praise kink in Russian because HELLO. Masturbation, mentions of oral (f recieving), I have religious exemption from proofreading.
Tumblr media
The library was empty apart from you, kneeling beside a bookshelf as you thumbed through some recent returns, checking for damage. You had decided to wear a calf-length skirt today, burnt orange with little pleats near the waist, flowing out around your legs as you sat on the worn carpet, taking note that Doctor Zhivago needed a new dust jacket.
"That is a very good book, but quite hard to follow."
You look up to find Dmitri staring down at you, something dark and enticing in his eyes. "Hey," you have to crane your neck from where you sit, "the library's closed, I was just finishing up." Your eyes widen in shock as he reaches down and cups your jaw, his thumb ghosting over your bottom lip, never breaking eye contact. "No one else is here?" His voice is thick with desire, the sound washing over you as you slowly shake your head, cheeks burning as you stare up at him, acutely aware that you're kneeling in front of him now.
He grips your chin and gently pulls up until you stand, your heart jackhammering as he lets his hand slowly inch down, fingers tracing over your throat and collarbone, before laying flat against your chest. You gasp as he pushes you backwards against the shelf, stepping forward to press his body against yours, bulge straining against his pants and pressing into you, a feeling of wetness growing between your legs as he leans forward and ghosts his lips over the shell of your ear, a deep shudder traveling through your body.
"I see the way you stare at me," he breathes out, hands gripping your waist, "so openly, so shamelessly. I know that look," one of his hands moves to the waistband of your skirt, toying with it, "you want to be fucked." You'd be embarrassed by the moan you let out at his words if you weren't so lost in how he felt against you. He pulls back to look at you, eyes roaming your face as he slips his hand beneath the waistband, fingers drawing out a whimper from you as they skim over the lace of your panties, already soaked through. "Hm? Does the pretty little American want me to fuck her?" When you don't answer he removes his hand, tutting at you. "Yes, yes please," you quickly ramble out, your center throbbing with want when he snakes his hand back down your skirt, raising his eyebrows as he waits for you to continue, "Please," you say, voice small and whining in desperation, "please fuck me." Your lips meet in a bruising kiss, his fingers pulling your panties aside and sliding through your folds, your legs widening when he pushes a single digit into your entrance. "Khoroshaya devochka," he mumbles against your lips, his finger pumping in and out of your slit, stretching you before adding a second, "this is what you wanted, isn't it? To have my fingers deep inside your pussy, fucking you senseless." All you can do is moan into his mouth, feeling an ember of ecstasy start to spread throughout your cunt, the coil of your climax tightening as your walls clench and flutter around his thick fingers. He pumps into you at an agonizing pace, the palm of his hand brushing against your clit each time. "Are you going to cum for me, hm? Going to cum all over my fingers?" You squeeze your eyes shut as you feel yourself nearing the edge, grabbing onto his shoulders as he fucks you mercilessly against the bookshelf. His fingers curve into you, dragging against your sensitive spot, and you feel it boil over.
You open your eyes with a gasp and look around, but it's dark. You try to catch your breath as you let your eyes adjust. Shit. You're in your bedroom, laying twisted up in the sheets. A dream. A really fucking good dream. Groaning, you flop an arm over your face, trying to ignore the throbbing in your netherregions. Did I have to wake up right at the good part?
You lay there a moment, the dream replaying in your head as you fight an internal battle. Don't. Don't. Don't do it. Your body has a mind of its own as your hand disappears under the sheets, your finger running along your outer lips through the fabric of your underwear, and then underneath them. You run your palm over the mound of your sex, fingers brushing through the coarse hair before parting your folds, stifling a moan as you collect some of your arousal and bring it to your entrance, thinking of how good his fingers felt gliding into you. Yours are slightly disappointing when you push them past your opening, they always are, too short and not thick enough to feel just right, so you slip them out and back up through your folds, tracing small circles over your clit. You try to remember each moment of the dream as you start rocking your hips upwards, your free hand fondling your breast through your thin tank top. Are you going to cum for me? The thought of him saying that, even in a dream, lights a fire deep in your belly, your fingers speeding up as soft moans fall from your lips. Going to cum all over my fingers? You think of his lips, rough against yours as he kissed you, and you start to imagine what they might feel like on your body, latched around your nipple or kissing your thighs, working their way to your dripping center before sucking your clit between them. You clasp your hand over your mouth as you come, jolts of pleasure coursing through your body as you reach your peak, still rubbing your now sensitive pearl as you squeeze out every last drop of your orgasm.
When you finally come down, you pull your hand out from under the sheets, fingers still slick with yourself, and you lay there catching your breath. Part of you feels bad, in your post climax moment of clearheadedness, for using a fantasy of him to masturbate to. You feel kind of creepy, like some dude rubbing one out to every girl he knows. But he's stuck in your mind now, lodged firmly into your subconscious. You might as well use that for personal fulfillment.
¤
"Y/n, I know we're friends, but we don't have to tell eachother everything."
Sylvia sits at the kitchen table, a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios having been pushed far away the second you started talking. "Why don't you wanna know about my sex dream? It was pretty cinematic, if I do say so myself." By the way, brain, thanks again. It deserves an Oscar. Or at least a nomination. "I'm glad you got your world rocked in dreamland, really, I am," Sylvia says, fighting against a yawn, "but it's 8 a.m., aka too early for this." You purse your lips, rapping your fingers against the table, "So you wanna hear about it later?" "......sure."
You stand up and gulp down the last of your orange juice, "Okay, I gotta get ready for work. Or, should I say, the scene of the crime." You ignore Sylvia's exasperated sigh as you walk off.
¤
You're about to leave when the phone rings, nearly tripping over a rug in your rush to answer it. "Hello?" You breathe out, both hands cradling the receiver, "What? No, I'm not interested in your encyclopedias. Yes I'm sure. No thank you. No. I said no. I'm sorry.....no really, I'm sorry. That was a rude tone to take. But no, no thank you. I'm sure. Okay, you too. Bye."
¤
"Those are in our juvenile section, right over there by the fern. Let me know if you need anything." You smile as the kid asking about where the Hardy Boys books were ambled off, looking down to read through the list of overdues. The Great Gatsby, a few Toni Morrisons borrowed by the same person, and, this one's funny, a self-help book on time management. "Hey Delores," She walks over from the book cart she was sorting through, "look." You point at the list and grin, waiting for her to laugh. Waiting. And waiting. "It's overdue," she says dryly, walking back to the cart. That's what's funny about it. You sigh and go back to work, smiling as the kid walks back up, having picked The Missing Chums and Hunting for Hidden Gold.
The day goes by relatively slow, it being a Friday. Four o'clock rolls around and you're about to ask Delores if she thinks you ordered enough balloons for the Friends of The Library Event when a book is slid onto the desk. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Good book. You look up from the cover to be met with piercing blue eyes, the corners of which are crinkled from smiling. Oh god, it's just like the dream. Except Delores is here. "I tried calling earlier," Dmitri began, "but the line was busy. So I thought I would drop by." Curse you, Encyclopedia Lady. "It's nice to see you, and good choice by the way. It's a great book." You can't help the stupid smile plastered on your face as you check the book out. "You, um, you try calling for any reason? Or just saying hello?" Smooth. Real smooth. "I was wondering if you would like to get dinner after you finish work?" You gape at him, forgetting how to breathe. "Get dinner..with you? Like..the both of us?" Laughing, he nods, "Yes, the both of us. I was hoping as a date." Oh god oh god oh god oh god. "That'd be really nice!" You exclaim, still not completely sure you aren't dreaming again. "I get off at seven-'' Delores clears her throat, straightening her glasses before looking at you, "I was going to ask if you would stay a bit later, the children's section is in disarray and I'd rather it get done before tomorrow, you know Saturday is busy." Nope, definitely not a dream. "Oh, um, yeah, sure Delores. That's no problem." You look back to Dmitri, "Sorry, I guess I'll be here late."
"How about tomorrow?" he asks, completely unbothered. "Tomorrow would be great," you beam at him, the butterflies in your stomach doing somersaults from the pleased smile he gives you. You both say your goodbyes and he turns to leave with his book when you call after him. "Hey, um," he turns back to look at you, "what does, um, koro..shaya dev..dev..ochka mean?" He grins, his brows furrowing, "Khoroshaya devochka?" He repeats, to which you nod. "It means 'good girl', why?" You feel your cheeks flush, "Just..something I heard somewhere." How the hell does my subconscious know Russian? He smiles once more, still looking quizzically at you, but eventually walks off. After which you turn to scowl at your coworker, although your heart isn't in it. "Delores, I could've gotten laid tonight."
"I very much doubt that."
Tumblr media
Authors Note: "What yall doing, screwing?" Please don't hate me, she'll get some real non-dream dick soon XD. You can't tell me Dmitri doesn't like cowboy/western books and movies. Feedback and Reblogs are very appreciated!!! @@feelingstoo @lizgot

One Less Lonesome Bride
Delores x Dead Bride! Reader || Okay so- I know I said I’ll make something for BJ after the movie but his ex wife was looking a little TOO FINE😩 I couldn’t keep my eyes away y’all you have to watch it for yourself SHE IS GORGEOUS. I sprinkled a little backstory for her because she’s deserves it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: After being left to die by your ex and play the piano by yourself for so long, you meet Delores
Romantic Fluff
Warnings: Talk of death, murder, cult, hints that reader grew up in the victorian age, and just descriptions on being dead.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR “BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE!!!”
_✍︎︎
One lonesome Bride that’s what you are. Wandering in the afterlife by yourself still in your white grown isn’t you imagine for your dead life to be nor wanted it to be; on your ceremony, you imagine a long filling life, where you and your lover grew old together, have children, things that were normal to want in your day in age but for one second you’re at a wedding and the next your were here: at the Netherworld, dead. You spent some time finding your groom-to-be, thinking he met the same unfortunate fate and he just got lost from you, however after maybe like… 178 years still no sign. It’s funny that’s how long you’ve been dead for but you couldn’t tell. They don’t keep track down here.
You silence your thoughts to a piano, something you did often in your life: letting the gentle music playing from your fingertips relax the nerves within yourself and despite being dead it still had its effect. A crowd never did show up to come to watch you, which has never been a problem to you, well that was kinda of a lie. Before your death you’ve dreamed of being a musician, which was silly for women from when and where you were from regardless it was still a big dream; you’ve longed to be a part of those concerts you would read on the paper or see on paintings and how magical it looked. It was a big promise your partner made before you passed on your wedding. A shame you never got to see it, alive but you were content playing your emotions away. Occasionally some do pass by to view your playing, but, most of the time, it was always newcomers. You didn’t blame them either: the piano was so out of tune almost completely broken but you kept playing anyway, only listening to the song in your head. Swaying along to its beat.
As you press the keys of a broken instrument a gust of wind flew past you, way too fast for you to think it was just the wind. You paused your playing for a quick second, checking if a ghost came into the room to hear you play, but there was nothing. You brushed it off quickly and turned back to your notes, after all, it was the Netherworld. The music blinded your senses, deafening you from the threat echoing around your music room. You spammed your notes when you glazed up feeling your dead heart beat for a second at the woman in front of you.
She was dressed in all black in a gown that looked like a wedding dress- in a completely different style than yours. Her black curly hair matched the dress and her lips were the only color to pop from her complexion. She was stitched up just as you’ve imagined the face of Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, the only difference being that you wouldn’t describe her as horrid and monstrous.
But as memorizing and beautiful.
You patted your eyelashes feeling like you were staring much longer than you should the silence being overwhelming and the absolute dominance she had over you sent a pleasant shiver down your dead spine. She looks down at your hands-glued to the piano keys- then back at you, her dead black eyes staring into you. “Who are you married you?” She asked her accent echoing in the room. “Hmmm..” you hesitated, understanding her question, but found it difficult to find the words. You told your lover’s name: giving her an open book on your backstory, even though that’s not what she asked but you ramble on anyway like a nervous young man trying to talk to a lady. The mysterious dead bride made a satisfying ‘hum’ tilting her head as her eyes roam on you again, making you gulp. Her eyebrows narrowed when she fully observed the instrument in front of you. She looked.. confused? “What’s this?” She asked and you couldn’t tell if she was serious or not. “Why, it’s a piano.” Her lost expression didn’t change she just looked back at you. “Piano?” So she was serious, she generally didn’t know what a piano was.
You spent the rest of your time educating the enticing woman- who introduced herself as Delores, was now next to you sitting on a stool- what a piano was and what it did. The lesson shifted into a conversation of your story another thing she didn’t ask for but when you turned to look at her: she was smiling. Her eyelids resting on her black eyes, her soft warm glaze turning you into mush. Your breath hitched as you felt your cheeks warm up despite no blood pumping through your system. You cleared your voice, tracing back to the previous lesson before you got distracted. You moved your fingers to the previous song before she interrupted, your nervousness melting away as you broke into a song without even realizing it. Delores glued her eyes and mind to you feeling that spark of life she hadn’t felt in a long, long, long, long, time. In her human life, she only knew the supernatural, the folklore, the mythology, a cult she vowed to say loyalty to. When you live on nothing by power, survival, or vengefulness, you don’t live. She hasn’t lived in a long time and she thinks she realizes that now.
From then on, it became a tradition. Whenever you were not alone in your music room, she was right, there; listening to you sing and play becoming one of your most, and only, honorable guests. Because of this little hangout, the two of you grew to know each other more even enjoying each other’s company outside of the music room where you really got to clamps of who she was and why the dead screamed and scurried away from you when she was close by, eventually, the two of you locking your arms together. Delores had everything in her power to end your life twice and you knew that now, -she probably would’ve ended up doing that at your first meeting if she wasn’t so curious about your piano- however, she treated you like an angel she saw you as; her cold nail rubbing gently on your dead skin locking arms and holding hands to make you feel safe, her eyes being on your when you perform earning all of her attention, even going as far as to dance together at the soul train stop. Where the two of you shared your first kiss. She pulls you in mid-spin, slamming her cold lips on yours at a similar temperature sending warmth to your body.
Time seemed to pause at the moment and it felt you were alone with her, regardless of the dancing dead around you. She held your cheeks as you stared into her space-like eyes, feeling your dead heartbeat and you didn’t feel like you’re lonesome bride anymore, because of her.

Dating Headcanons F.H
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What it’s Like to Date Five Hargreeves
Pairings — Five Hargreeves x Reader (pronouns not specified)
Summary — My headcanons for if you were Five’s lover.
Warnings — opinions, no plot, it’s all over the place, last one is semi-NSFW.
A/N — i try to avoid nsfw with five because yk.. in the show, he’s physically thirteen but this one was too funny not to add. let’s all just pretend there was a happy ending okay 😭😭. i wrote this before season four came out so let’s pretend it ended happily.
— if you want another version where it’s just headcanons of you and five in the apocalypse i’m down for that.
Tumblr media
— I see headcanons where Five is straight up mean, manipulative, and where he’s just using you.
— To me, that’s not Five being in love with you. Have you seen how he treats Delores? HE’S SO SWEET TO HER.
— So if you’re his lover, he will give you princess treatment like no other, holy shit.
—He’ll prepare breakfast so it’s ready to be eaten when you wake up.
— He thinks breakfast in bed is a recipe for disaster so he never does that.
— If you take a while to wake up he’ll wake you up.
— “My love, breakfast is ready.” He’ll whisper into your ear before pressing a kiss onto your temple, then one on your forehead, then your nose… then finally a chaste kiss on your lips.
— He’ll tuck you in bed at night and make sure you’re all snug before leaving. If you can’t sleep he’ll read to you.
— With him around, you genuinely never have to open a door. In addition to paying for every meal, he always walks on the outside of the sidewalk. He also pulls the chair out for you when you sit and showers you with praise.
— Sometimes the praise is simple whispers in your ear because he isn’t much into PDA.
— There was never an official wedding, he stole two matching rings and gave one to you.
— He’d like to have an official wedding.
— If he has to worry about the apocalypse he’ll probably neglect you only because he thinks the fate of the world is in his hands.
— He loves going on simple dates, whether it’s at Griddy’s Doughnuts, a simple stroll in the park, or a little painting place.
— He’s fancy but he doesn’t see the point in expensive restaurants. He likes the little things.
— He loves to make and paint pottery with you, it’s his favourite thing to do.
— When he can’t sleep he’ll come over to your place and sit on the roof with you.
— If you fall asleep he’ll Blink into your room and tuck you in, and he’ll even leave a note for you to read when you wake up.
— It usually goes along the lines of..
“You fell asleep, don’t worry I made sure you got back in your room and I picked up all your stuffies from the floor and put them on the bed with you.”
— He struggles with insomnia.
— He’ll write you love letters even though it’s more convenient to send a text. He loves you and he’s willing to put effort in love notes.
— His primary love languages are quality time and acts of service.
— He doesn’t show much affection in public.
— He doesn’t mind holding your hand though.
— Five won’t be afraid to hold your hand, wrap an arm around your shoulders or waist while he’s with his siblings.
— Kisses and hugs are private though.
— Despite being private, he doesn’t hide the fact he’s dating you.
— If anyone tries anything on you, Five will glare daggers. If that’s not enough, he’ll threaten them, and if they keep pushing he’ll make them bleed (but not too severe 🥰)
— He’s hella protective.
— You make midnight munchies together.
— He’ll refuse to dance with you in the kitchen at 2am but he’ll reluctantly say yes and end up actually enjoying it.
— Same goes for dancing in the rain. He pretends to hate it but he loves it and you know he does.
— You always make pasta or noodles for midnight munchies.
— One time you made cookies and accidentally woke up Klaus who ate the cookie dough before you got to put it in the oven.
— When you guys had sex for the first time Klaus congratulated you and Five with a cake that said ‘virgin’ in the middle of a 🚫 and woke you up the next day with confetti.
Tumblr media
— sorry, i know i said i’d have a part three to my ben hargreeves fic but i wrote it and didn’t edit it.. and it didn’t seem entertaining enough to post, i’m sorry.
— if you want headcanons with the apocalypse involved, let me know <3

I've got a sinking feeling - {Five Hargreeves x GN!Reader}
Synopsis: You are very flirty with Five, and he's tricked himself into believing he hates it. He tells you to stop. Then he learns the hard way how much he took you for granted when you meet someone else.
Tumblr media
Note: Five requests would be very appreciated! Thank you to those who sent requests on my last one shot.
(Not Edited)
Warnings: Swearing
Word count: 1.5k
Extra Information: Viisi means Five in Finnish. Five and Y/n were partners in the commission. They look seventeen or eighteen instead of thirteen. This one-shot takes place on the last episode of season one, and the entirety of season two.
----
The Academy, Five's home, has just collapsed--courtesy of Vanya's new powers--and Five ordered his family to meet at Super Star Lanes bowling alley to come up with a new plan of action.
He grabs your wrist, blinking you with him. You're both in front of the bowling alley in a flash of blue.
Five takes a moment to pace around, not entering the building. The crisp, spring air bites at your earlobes as you hug your sides for warmth
"Hey, Viisi, can we go inside?" You look at him with a grimace and a pleading smile. He whips his head in your direction to glare at you, then strolls inside with a roll of his eyes. You follow in his stead.
The interior is heated, thankfully. Five informs the underpaid worker that his "parents" will be arriving shortly to pay for his bowling shoes. He takes a seat adjacent to Lane 6 and you sit next to him.
"So, how was the farewell with Delores? I know you two were close." You lean back in your seat, getting more comfortable while waiting for Five's siblings to arrive.
He does not look at you. His jaw ticks in annoyance, mistaking your genuine curiosity for mockery.
"Come onnn, I know you're stressed, but this is your sister. I'm sure she's reasonable enough not to end the world." You turn towards him, leaning your elbows on your thighs and admiring his pretty face.
"No, it's not that." He scoffs, looking at you with a sneer.
You notice that his tie is crooked so you reach out to fix it, like you often do. It's sort of your thing.
He smacks your hand away and you raise an eyebrow.
"You okay Viisi?" You rub your hand a little, surprised. Normally, he lets you fix his tie with no problem. Although, he would grumble about it a little.
"God- No. I'm not okay." He puts his hands in his hair, gripping it slightly with an exasperated expression. "And stop calling me that."
"What?" You breathe with a smile of disbelief. "What's going on? Did something happen- Did I do something?" You lean away from him a little to give him more space.
"Stop, just stop it with the touching and the nicknames. I'm sick of it!" He looks at you with cold eyes. This is very unusual of him.
You cock your head to the side, trying to understand. "Five, I thought- I thought that was our thing! Y'know, the friendly banter and-"
"I know you're desperate for some sort of relationship with me, but I'm here to tell you that it's not going to happen. We were only ever co-workers." He says through gritted teeth, avoiding your eyes. "I'm telling you to stop pursuing me." 'Pursuing' him?
Usually you would brush this sort of behavior off, ignore it. Tell yourself that it's only because he's stressed. He's always stressed! Thinking back, he was never all that nice to you. Even in your Commission days.
You'd tricked yourself into thinking that maybe he thought you were special, or that you were at least his friend. His confidant.
You look at him with eyes full of hurt, which Five has never seen from you. He almost feels something bubbling up his throat, but the feeling dissipates quickly. "Have I made myself clear?" He says evenly.
You only nod, turning away so he doesn't see the tears prick at your eyes.
Five's siblings come inside and you two don't speak to each other again.
A year and seven months later (for you, at least.)
1963, Dallas Texas:
Five anxiously pulls at his tie after narrowly escaping three armed Swedish men. He had just watched his siblings, along with you, blow up in yet another nuclear explosion. It's left him oddly shaken up about how he treated you back in 2019.
He's pacing down the alley-way between the Commerse and Knox when he notices a flash atop the roof. A large camera of some sort.
A brown haired man closes his window briskly. That's strange.
Five teleports inside, scaling up a flight of stairs with cat-like agility. When he knocks on a door, the one beside him answers, revealing a mouse-y looking man in his early thirties. He looks at him with big, expectant eyes.
"What do you want." His tone is dripping with suspicion.
"Hi, I'm selling encyclopedias for my youth group. I was curious if-" Five gets a door to the face. He huffs, blinking inside after him.
The man, Elliot, jumps, yelping in fear and pulling out a butter-knife from his drawer of kitchen utensils. "H-how did you do that?" He hesitates, astonished.
Five looks at him with amusement. "Don't really have time to explain."
Elliot runs a hand through his unkempt brown hair, gripping the butter-knife in a feeble attempt to protect himself. "You from the Pentagon? Huh?"
"Definitely not."
"CIA? FBI? KGB?"
Five eyes up the kitchen, noticing a coffee pot on the other side of the room. "Is that fresh?" He uses his powers again, blinking himself right in front of the coffee pot.
Elliot screams, whipping his head back and forth between the place Five just was and the place he appeared. "What..." He pants, eyes wide.
"Elliot? You okay?" Five hears a faraway voice from another room. A familiar voice. "Who's with you?" It asks.
You appear from around the corner, presumably from Elliot's bedroom, looking almost two years older.
Five furrows his eyebrows and so do you. He breathes out your name is what you almost register as relief. But, you know better then to think that.
"Oh, Five. You're back." You say casually, nodding and crossing your arms. Five sets the coffee down, unwillingly noticing how you didn't call him by his nickname.
"How long have you been here?" He walks towards you, looking at your slightly different features. You changed your hair, he observes. He says nothing about it.
"A year and a half, I believe." You tap your chin in thought. Elliot glances between you two with interest or surprise.
"You two know each-other?" He puts the butter-knife back onto the counter with a small clatter.
You nod, shrugging. "We were co-workers." You send Elliot a reassuring, genuine smile.
Co-workers. Five doesn't like how the word rolled off your tongue.
He licks his lips, looking away. "You live here?" He asks you, although it was a silly question considering its obvious answer.
You nod with tight lipped smile, approaching Elliot. You fix his hair with your fingers and flip the collar of his flannel back down. "Did he scare you? I told you he could be a bit much."
Elliot exhales a shaky laugh at your words and actions as Five begins to feel a hot, frothy feeling in the pit of his stomach. He changes the subject. "Are my siblings here too?"
Elliot answers for you, looking back towards the teen again. "The other six anomalys- The power surges." He begins to look excited at this new discovery. "They're your siblings?"
Five ticks his jaw, ignoring him. "So they're alive..." He begins to pace around. "I think I stranded them here. Now listen to me..."
"Elliot." You tell him his name.
"Whatever, alright? I got ten days to find them and save the world." He points to you and Elliot. "Now, I need your help to do that."
Elliot is just so happy to be involved, his three year long project finally achieving some major development. He scrambles to find a certain newspaper scrap from his desk drawer. "You know what? I, uh..." He fumbles with it, handing it to Five.
"I always thought that this, uh, mugshot looked like arrival number four."
"Diego." Five reads softly, then he twists around to face you. "You're coming with me." He states.
You hiss awkwardly through your teeth, avoiding his eyes. "Ohh, about that... Actually, Elliot and I were about to play Scrabble. It's Scrabble night."
Five narrows his eyes at you, barking your name. "The world is ending and you're just gonna play Scrabble with this homebody?"
Elliot looks at his dusty wooden floors with a look of dejection.
"Uh, yeah. That's exactly what I'm gonna do." You lean against the door-frame with a bored expression. "I thought you wanted me to stop following you around like a lost puppy."
Five feels strange. "You know what? I don't need this." He blinks away to search for Diego.
When Five returns from the strip club, after a failed attempt of recruiting both Luther and Diego, he decides to test something. His fingers reach for his tie, pulling at it and skewing it. Perfectly crooked.
You couldn't resist fixing his tie, he knew this.
So why didn't you? He finds himself uncharacteristically frustrated about your unresponsiveness.
As he demands that Elliot develop his Frankel Footage, his eyes trail to you occasionally, silently tempting you to straighten his tie.
Your eyes flicked to it once. However, you made no move to adjust it.
Five heaves a dramatic sigh, angrily fixes it, and leaves to look for Vanya.
He messed up before, he realizes. He feels like shit.

Hey! I saw that you’re taking tua requests and after season 4 I’m in desperate need of fluff fanfics. May I request a Five x Y/N where Y/N looks exactly like how Five envisions Delores but they haven’t met yet and right when Five and Lila were about to kiss in the greenhouse, Y/N appears with a gun because this two strangers invaded her greenhouse and Five would be utterly shocked and immediately let go of Lila and went to Y/N calling her Delores and she would say something like “I don’t know who Delores is but the two of you better start explaining what you’re doing in my greenhouse or I’ll bury a bullet in your skulls.” And after that it could be all fluff with a happy ending. Maybe Five takes her to meet his family when he finds a way back?
a/n: thank you for your lovely request! the idea of reader as a dolores variant is so sweet, i just had to write this! i hope you love it!!
summary: five mistakes you for dolores, you turn out to be quite the opposite
warnings: reader has a gun😟

Trying to traverse this damn subway was driving Five insane. If he had been keeping track accurately, he and Lila had been stuck down here for seven years. For someone that had made it through forty years alone at the end of the world, you’d think that he’d be able to hack it, but a couple of key factors had changed since his first time around.
1. This time he wasn’t alone.
When he’d brought Lila down to the station, the thought of getting stuck there hadn’t even crossed his mind. Every other time Five had visited the subway, he’d made it home with no problems whatsoever.
It was typical that when he was accompanied by the one woman he’d never want to be around for a prolonged amount of time, that the universe would screw him over and trap them there.
He did have to admit, the more time that they had spent together, and the less likely getting home seemed, Lila had become tolerable. He might even go as far as to say he liked her now.
She was smarter than he’d given her credit for and painfully determined in working out their way home. Lila had always kept them both going, insisting that if they’d gotten there in the first place that there had to be a way out. Five wasn’t so sure anymore.
2. Dolores wasn’t here.
Whilst Five could pretend that if he stopped looking for a way out and settled down with Lila in a new timeline he would be happy enough, he knew that in reality, he wouldn’t be. There was no way that his friendship with Lila would ever measure up to the company of Dolores and the love he had for her.
She had been his everything for more of his life than not and his connection with her had truly meant something to him. Unlike whatever circunstancial friendship he had built with Lila.
For a long time, Five’s daily routine had revolved entirely around making sure that Dolores was cared for and making sure that they were always one step closer to finding a better way of life. Because he would be damned if his girlfriend had to live a life with anything but the very best.
This time, without the motivation of holding Dolores in his arms at the end of a long day, Five had found little reason to keep searching for a way to get home. He was beginning to lose all hope entirely as he and Lila had got off the subway for the fiftieth time that day.
As they stepped out into the sun, it became clear that of all the timelines they’d been to, this one was, without a doubt, the most peaceful. They were surrounded by woodland that stretched as far as the eye could see.
Somewhere above their heads Five could hear birds twittering. That was a good sign, this timeline was still habitable, many of the last ones hadn’t been.
Five walked out into forest. The trees there shot up almost 70 feet into the sky. It was breathtaking.
Somewhere along his stroll, Lila, had ended up off course, discovering the new world around them, “Wow.” She whispered to herself.
Five chuckled and raised an eyebrow as he walked towards her, “If you’re done here, there’s something much more interesting that we ought to take a look at.”
He pointed to the bottom of the hill that they stood on, where a small cottage sat. It looked as if it came from a fairytale, with its thatched roof and adjacent greenhouse, that housed all sorts of plants and flowers.
A small seed of doubt planted itself in his head the more he looked it over. It looked too nice. What if it was some sort of trap?
Lila clearly didn’t have the same trepidations. She gasped with excitement, then turned back to him, saying, “What’re you waiting for? Let’s go.”
As suspicious as he now was, he wasn’t strong enough to crush Lila’s hopeful expression. He hadn’t seen her look this spritely in weeks and if this didn’t end up being what they wanted he needed her to be okay to keep going. So, he followed her down the hill.
By the time he’d reached the bottom, Lila was already waiting, hands on her hips as she laughed at him, “Come on, old man, what is taking you so long? I want to explore this cottage before someone comes and tells me that I’m imagining it.”
She reached out, pulling on his arm impatiently and he couldn’t help but smile back at her. He supposed he could entertain this fantasy of normality for a while.
Lila grinned as she led them up the steps, peering in through the glass at the throng of shrubbery packed into the building. With a tug on the door, Lila led them into the greenhouse.
Five had to appreciate the organisation of it. One corner of it hosted a mix of plants and herbs, another held flowers, another for vegetables as well and even one for- “Strawberries!” Lila gasped, dropping his arm and rushing over to them.
In that moment, there couldn’t have been a better sight in the world than home-grown fruit. It’d been a painfully long time since they’d last eaten real food and Five suddenly felt starving.
He watched as Lila picked a strawberry, taking a bite. She groaned in pleasure, closing her eyes. Mouth still full, she beckoned him closer, “Five, come here, you have got to try these.”
Five obeyed, walking over to her. Lila took another enthusiastic bite, as she declared, “I think these might be the best things that I’ve ever eaten.”
Tossing the hull of the strawberry behind her, Lila reached for another. She smirked at Five, waving the strawberry in front of his lips tauntingly, “Open up.”
Five rolled his eyes, trying to repress the smile that was creeping onto his lips as he relented, opening his mouth. Lila pressed the strawberry to his lips and as he bit down…
Click.
Five froze, eyes snapping open. Lila spun around and her lips parted in shock as she took you in. There, you stood, shotgun cocked and pointed at the pair of them.
You were a sight for sore eyes, with your tousled hair around your shoulders and polka dot dress that fell effortlessly around your hips. Five was completely mesmerised.
Your soft hair, the polka dots that covered your dress, it was all so familiar to him. Your presence felt like a greeting from an old friend and he smiled lovingly at you as he said, “Dolores.”
Lila’s presence was entirely forgotten as you stood in front of him, just as beautiful as he’d remembered. Lila raised an eyebrow, asking, “You know her?” at the same time as you asked, “Dolores?!”
You looked them both in the eye, stepping closer and aiming the barrel of the gun at their heads, “I don’t know who Dolores is but the two of you better start explaining before I shoot you both.”
You had to admit, you were slightly intrigued by the appearance of the two of them. More specifically, the man in front of you. Even more so when he audibly laughed at your words.
You raised an eyebrow at him, smirking with amusement as you said, “You do realise that you’re trespassing, right? That I’m well within my rights to pull this trigger and put a bullet through both of your skulls?”
Five was still looking at you as if you’d hung the moon and the stars and not just threatened to shoot him.
Lila shoved her elbow into his chest and he groaned, clutching it, “Jesus… Lila!” He said, glaring at her.
“What?” Lila groaned, looking over at him with a huff, “She asked you a question.”
“Yes, thank you.” You said with a small nod as you watched her. She nodded back with a pleased smile, holding her hands behind her back.
You look back at Five, expectantly, gun still raised, “Well?”
He smiled saccharinely at you, being sure to emphasise his words as he said, “Me and my friend here just got a little lost, that’s all.”
“Hm… getting lost is what we’re calling breaking and entering now?” You challenge and your combative demeanour only made Five want to get to know you more.
He grinned, shrugging his shoulders innocently, “It would appear that way.” He said, making it impossible for you to ignore the cockiness in his tone.
You simply laughed at him, lowering your weapon slightly, “And Dolores?”
“She’s…” He paused, thinking it through. He couldn’t exactly say who Dolores really was, you’d think he was crazy and that was the last thing he wanted.
If he ignored the fact that you were the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, he could also tell that you were exactly the kind of woman he wanted to know and he was not going to mess up any chance he might have with you, “…my ex-girlfriend.”
That wasn’t entirely untrue, he thought to himself. Lila’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Slowly, a look of realisation spread across her face and she stifled her laughter as she asked, “Hold on, you don’t mean that manne-“
“Please, excuse my friend.” He hastily cut Lila off with an infuriated glare thrown in her direction.
“She has terrible conversational etiquette.” Five offered, smiling politely at you as if he hadn’t just completely shut Lila down, “I’m Five, and that over there is Lila.”
You nodded in return. Lila smiled but made no more attempts to initiate a conversation as she wandered off deeper into the green house.
Five, happy to have the chance to speak you alone, stepped closer, “It’s a nice place.” He said, putting his hands in his pockets.
You lowered your gun, slinging it over your shoulder and offering him a warmer smile, “Thanks, I think so too.”
You were funny. He felt himself grow more smitten with every word you said. He brushed his hair out of his eyes, raising an eyebrow at you, “What did you say your name was again?”
“I didn’t.” You answer, brushing off your skirt. His eyes followed your fingers as you did.
You walked by him to pick up a bag of compost and dropped it onto the countertop beside you. Five walked after you, placing a hand on the table in your eyeline, practically begging you to keep the conversation going.
The last time he’d gotten so quickly attached to a girl, he’d been with her for forty years and he was already thinking about what that might look like with you, “Are you going to tell me it?” He pushed, tilting his head to the side as he smiled at you.
You stopped breaking up the soil, laughing softly as you looked over your shoulder at him, “You know, you’re very interested in knowing about me for someone I just caught breaking into my house.”
“I thought we’d agreed that we were just lost? I can confidently say that there was no ill intent on my part.” He replies, smirking at you.
“Maybe not.” You say, smacking your palms against each other to dust them off, “But there is intent of some kind.” You bend down, pulling out an empty plant pot from below the counter.
“True…” Five hummed, tapping his finger on the counter as he watched you place the pot onto the table and begin to fill it with compost.
He looks around the room some more - noticing the lone chair and table in the observatory by the back door, “You live here alone?”
He asked, watching your nimble fingers form a well in the centre of the pot. He looked over his shoulder to where Lila was prodding a venus flytrap and then back to you for your answer.
“I do.” You reply as your fingers continue to press deeper into the soil. Five nodded, rolling his sleeves up and leaning them on the countertop with a sly smile.
You dust off your hands again and go back to kneeling on the floor. Five watches with interest as you sift through pots and packets of different flowers.
“Okay and why is that?” He asks, bending down beside you as you consider which flower to pot.
You look over at him and notice how his eyes lingers on the bright, yellow marigolds tucked away to the left. You take them out.
“Because…” You say, hauling the smaller pot onto the counter again, “I’ve never been much of a people person.”
“Hence why you live in the middle of the woods.” Five nods along, smiling to himself. He was beginning to get an idea of what kind of girl you were and he liked it.
“Exactly.” You nod, gently prying the marigolds from their original pot and settling them into the divet in their new one.
You scooped some compost into your hands, sprinkling the marigold with an extra layer of dirt, “That’s me, but what about you? What makes a guy like you take a wander in the woods?”
A guy like him? Five glanced down at himself, suddenly feeling very self-conscious of his dirtied appearance. He hadn’t looked in a mirror in a while but he couldn’t imagine that seven years without a shower had done him any good.
Then again, your arms were buried elbow deep in dirt right now, so he figured he couldn’t look that awful, “It’s a long story but… simply put, my friend and I are looking for a place to stay.”
“I see.” You hum, touching up the marigolds. You pull open a drawer, taking out some pruners and making tiny adjustments to the flowers.
Five appreciated the precision with which you worked on them, he imagined that you treated all of your plants with the same amount of time and care. He was beginning to feel a little jealous of them.
You tilted your head to the side as you looked back at him, “So, you just thought that you’d crash here?”
Five looked slightly embarrassed as he stood up straighter, searching for the right answer. Lila smiled, yelling from the other side of the room, “Yeah, pretty much. It’s a really nice place.”
You laugh at her bluntness, placing down your pruners and dusting off your hands again, “Good to know.”
Five chuckles and looks back down at the counter. Taking in the sight of the finished marigolds, sitting plump and pretty in their new home, he smiles, “They’re beautiful.”
“Consider them a welcome gift for the two of you.” You say, pushing the pot towards him. Then, you wink, walking past him and back into the house.
Five is rendered speechless.

Genre: Fluff/Angst
Word count: 7,984
Warnings: death, slightly canon compliant but not really, implied sex, slight nudity, author pretends to know wtf they’re talking about when it comes to cottagecore living
Disclaimers: Can you tell I love the subway concept but hate how it was executed? I refuse to believe Five would ever stop trying to go home. Also no Fivela in this because that whole mess is one I don’t want to clean up. Reader dresses feminine. Plus size, poc, and trans fem friendly. If you see something that goes against that, please feel free to say something. Five’s body is 24.
———————————————————————
It had been a little over six years now. Six years of being stuck in a confusing maze of timelines and once again, Five was all alone.
At least in the first apocalypse, he found comfort in Delores. But down here, his only company was the rats.
Five was desperate. He wanted to go home, to see his family again, try and stop yet another apocalypse. He wasn’t going to give up, that wasn’t the kind of person he was.
But this place was driving him crazy. He could focus in here. He wanted a shower, clean clothes, a regular source of clean water and good food. He remembered a timeline he visited that looked peaceful, a place he could relax and feel safe to figure out a way back.
He picked himself up off the ground. His body aching and joints creaking. He may have a twenty-four year old’s body, but it sure felt like his body finally caught up to his age.
Five groaned as he stretched, feeling his sore muscles pull and his vertebrae clicking into place. Damn that felt good.
When the train came to a stop at his station and the doors slowly opened, he stepped on board and collapsed on the nearest seat. He was so hungry and dehydrated that he barely had any energy. He hoped it wouldn’t be long before he could get to the timeline he wanted.
It took about twenty minutes for Five to get to the right timeline, and another seven to exit the station. He was so exhausted that the stairs nearly made him pass out. He knew exactly where he was headed and he couldn’t wait to get there.
When he saw the little cottage far in the distance, he felt a burst of energy. He had been dragging himself along for thirty minutes and the knowledge of having good food and fresh water helped him find the strength to continue.
The gate to the property was open, its latch broken. Five made his way to the greenhouse as it was the closest thing and he knew there were strawberries inside from his last visit.
He opened the door, a burst of warm humid air hit him immediately as he stepped inside leaving the door ajar. He made a beeline for the plants and started picking and eating as many ripe strawberries as he could. They were so sweet and the juice ran down his chin.
He was busy stuffing his face when he heard the familiar cock of a gun causing him to freeze in place.
He slowly turned around, one hand frozen in place holding a strawberry near his face, his mouth full of the fruit. The first thing he noticed was the twin barrels of a shotgun a few feet away pointed directly at his head.
Then his eyes moved down to see whoever was holding the gun, was wearing a beautiful dress that stopped right above the person’s knees.
“What are you doing here?” A stern voice spoke out. The gun was obscuring their face but he could make out the long hair that framed it.
“I’m not going to ask again.” They readjusted the gun as a warning when he took too long to answer.
Five dropped the strawberries he was holding and held his hands up. He roughly swallowed what was in his mouth and tried to speak.
“I’m sorry. I don’t mean any harm. I’ve been lost for a long time and I’m starving. I didn’t know anyone lived here.” He explained in a soft voice, trying not to startle the owner.
The gun faltered slightly before it was lowered slightly. A pair of eyes stared back at him with an unreadable look.
The person sighed and finally lowered the gun fully, the click of the safety being turned on being heard through the quiet greenhouse.
Five was able to see them fully now, a woman was stood blocking the entrance, and she looked beautiful.
“Come on, you look rough. I got some proper food inside and some clean clothes.” You gestured for him to follow you as you stepped out of the greenhouse.
Five eagerly followed you out, excited to finally eat something proper and get clean. You closed the door behind him and started towards the cottage a few feet away.
A few chickens roamed around the property, most running out of the way as you two walked but there was one or two you had to nudge out of the way with the barrel of the shotgun. You did it with such care and gentleness that you must’ve had to do it many times before.
You opened the wooden door to the cottage and held it open, gesturing for him to go in first. He thanked you as he passed you and took in his surroundings.
The inside was cute. It was small but not cramped, more…cozy. Plenty of room for two people to be comfortable.
You closed the door behind you and propped the shot gun against the wall. You startled Five, causing him to jump a bit when you accidentally clapped your hands together when brushing them off against each other.
“I’m sure you’d like to take a bath quickly. But everything’s pretty old school around here so it will take me a while to get enough water and warm it up. But I’ve got some soup simmering right now.” You put your hands on your hips as you looked him up and down.
“Thank you. Anything is perfect.” Five knew he looked (and smelled) bad. He hasn’t been able to do anything properly for six years and he was grateful for whatever you could provide.
You nodded, feeling weird having a man around after being alone for so long. You gestured for him to take a seat at the dining table as you walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl, ladling some of the soup into it. You placed the bowl down in front of him and grabbed some slices of sourdough bread you had made fresh that day and placed it in front of him as well as a spoon.
Five was nearly drooling at the steaming bowl of soup in front of him along with the fresh bread. You chuckled silently to yourself when you noticed his expression.
“It’s potato and leek and the bread is sourdough, made it today. I’m going to go get a bath ready for you, help yourself to seconds if you’d like, there’s plenty left.” You patted his shoulder before you left towards the bathroom.
“Thank you.” He called as you left and dug in. He moaned as the creamy and smooth soup slid down his throat so easily and warmed him up from the inside. He was quick to dip a piece of the bread into the soup and scarfing it down. He hasn’t had a proper meal in years so he couldn’t control himself.
It was about twenty five minutes later when he wandered into the bathroom. He had helped himself to seconds like you said and he also washed his dishes. He didn’t want to be any more of a burden than he already felt.
The bathroom was small. There was a big long metal tub sat on the side of the room, a wooden shelving unit with potted plants on the top few shelves and some different soaps on the lower shelves with in reach of the tub. On the opposite side of the small room was a metal basin full of charcoal that was glowing orange.
There was a window a few feet above the tub that was slightly open for ventilation, there was a door that lead to the outside that was wide open. As Five was busy observing his surroundings, you walked in from the open door. A pole was over your shoulders, two big metal buckets full of water on either side.
“Oh…hello…” You were startled at the sight of him but you couldn’t let it stop you cause the buckets were starting to feel heavier by the minute. You bent down at the knees and slid the pole off your shoulders, causing the buckets to hit the ground with a thump making some water splash out onto the concrete floor.
“I..uh…the soup was really good, thank you.” Five shuffled awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. He was impressed by your strength, and watching you do it in a dress was just the cherry on top. He was used to seeing strong women due to his time in the Commission, but none of them looked as soft and feminine as you did. It was clear you were a tough individual and he liked it.
“No problem.” You lifted the buckets up and set them in the pile of lit charcoal and used a stick to move the charcoal around so it surrounded the buckets. “Sorry, I don’t have running water. I’ve gotten used taking cold baths, usually only heating it in the winter but I thought you’d appreciate a warm bath more.” You brushed your hands off and placed them on your hips.
“You don’t have to go through all this trouble for me.” Five felt awkward, he’d never had anyone care about him this much and he was slowly starting to realize how much he craved a simple life like this.
You waved him off with a scoff. “Just gaining some good karma points.” You joked. You reached in the cabinet that the container of charcoal was sat on top of and grabbed some big fluffy towels out and set them on the middle shelf near the tub.
As you checked on the temperature of the water, you explained to Five that all the soap and shampoo was homemade. Despite living in the middle of no where near a forest, you had a neighbour that you regularly trade with. She was an older lady that grew Beehive Ginger, a plant that produced a natural liquid shampoo. You were able to make your own bars of soap pretty easily with the lye you also made. You mostly had everything you needed out here but it didn’t help to build connections with those near by.
As you picked up one of the buckets, holding the bottom with a cloth you picked up earlier and poured it into the bath, Five was thinking to himself how much he wanted a life like this, he hoped he could when he got back to his family and figured out how to stop the Cleanse, but it was tempting to stay here with you.
You poured the second bucket into the tub, it didn’t fill it completely but it was full enough, it would’ve cooled down by the time she was able to grab more water and heat it up anyway and Five was grateful for any amount of water. You scooped up some of the smouldering coals with the bucket and dumped them into the water.
Five gave you a weird look and you let out a breathy laugh. “It will keep the water warm longer. The water put it out and cooled it enough where it won’t burn you, plus, charcoal ash is good for your skin. Helps bring out toxins and such.”
Five nodded and thanked you again. You left to go grab him some extra clothes you said you had lying around and he finally took the opportunity to strip out of his dirty clothing. He wasn’t sure where to put the clothes so he left them in a pile on the floor. When he was fully nude he climbed into the tub and sat down. He groaned when the warm water raised around him. It reached just above his belly button and he took a moment to just sit there and enjoy the warmth. Not wanting the water to get cold, he grabbed a small pitcher that was on one of the shelves next to the various soaps. He scooped up some water and poured it over his head, relishing in the warmth and how it felt as some of the dirt washed right off.
You walked into the bathroom, a folded up shirt, jeans, and a pair of briefs in your arms. You paused when you realized he was in the tub already, you couldn’t blame him, you’d want to clean off as soon as possible if you looked as bad as he did. The tub was high enough where you couldn’t see anything below his shoulders from where you stood.
“Sorry.” You laughed awkwardly. “I’m used to not having to knock. Here, got you some clean clothes. They should fit.” You placed them down on a stool nearby and noticed you hadn’t closed the door to the outside and walked over and latched it shut. “Sorry to get rid of the view but sometimes the goats get too curious and sneak their way in and that usually brings in the chickens.” You laughed.
Five smiled with a huff. “Thank you, again.”
“Stop it. No more of that.” You huffed. “I’ll be around. Just shout if you need something.” You smiled and gathered up his dirty clothing and left.
——————————————————————
An hour or so later, you had his original clothes all washed and hung up outside to dry in the sun.
You were sat at the dining room table, drinking some tea thinking about everything that’s happened so far.
Five entered the dining room and smiled. He opened his mouth to say something before you cut him off. “If you try and thank me one more time I’m going to kick you out.” You semi joked.
He silently laughed and shook his head. “Noted.” He pulled out a chair and sat adjacent to you. “I was actually going to say, I didn’t know how to empty the bath so I just left it.”
You waved your hand. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll take care of it later. Tea?” You gestured to the kettle sitting on the stove.
“I’m more of a coffee guy.” He sheepishly admitted.
“Oh, I’ve got some of that.” You stood up and grabbed the container of instant coffee and poured some into a mug and poured the hot water from the kettle into it and stirred it around. You placed the mug in front of him and sat back in your seat. You made it so quickly it was as if you’ve done it many times before. “Sorry it’s only instant. Coffee is kinda hard to get out here so we’d have to go to the nearest town for it which is about two hours away.”
“I’m grateful to be having any coffee at all. I haven’t had any for twelve years.” He picked up his mug and took a sip. It was the perfect strength, slightly bitter but it wasn’t the worst he’s ever had.
“Oh! I forgot to ask if you want cream or sugar with that.” You sounded concerned but didn’t really make a move to get up.
“Oh no, that’s alright. I take it black. This is great.” Five reassured.
“How are the clothes? They comfortable?” You asked as you sipped your tea.
“Great, yeah. They fit perfectly.” A little too perfectly to be honest.
“That’s good. I cleaned your other clothes, they’re outside right now hanging up.”
You both let a comfortable silence go through for a few minutes before you gasped. “Oh my god…I just realized I never asked for your name.” You laughed.
He smiled after taking a sip of his coffee. “It’s…Five.” He hesitated, not sure on if he should tell you his real name but deciding it was the least he could do.
“Five? Like the number?” You questioned.
“It’s…a long story.” He sheepishly replied.
“I got nothing but time…but I won’t make you talk about something you don’t want to.” He was grateful for that. “I’m Y/N by the way.”
He repeated your name. He liked the sound of it. “Do you live alone? I find it odd that a woman who I’ve only seen wear a dress so far has men’s clothes.”
“I….I had a husband.” You looked away.
“Oh..I’m sorry. I didn’t see a ring so I just assumed…” he trailed off when you grabbed the thin chain around your neck and pulled it out from the top of your dress. A simple metal ring hanging off the edge.
“Hard to do any work around here when you’re worrying about keeping a ring on your finger. Plus I’ve never been one for wearing rings. He made it himself out of some scrap metal he had lying around.” You explained as you played with the ring. “We got married officially down at the courthouse. No wedding though. We were never much for big events like that and we didn’t really have anyone to invite anyway.” Tears pricked at your eyes as you thought back to it all.
“If I may ask, what happened?” Five straightened up in his chair, feeling sorry for you.
“He went out one day to check the traps we have out in the woods…never came back. I went looking for him for months but I never found him. He wasn’t the kind of man to just leave. He loved it here. So I assumed something got him.” You sniffed and wiped your eyes. “Sorry…”
“No no it’s alright. That sounds awful. I’m sorry that happened.” He reached out and laid a hand on yours that was on the table. It was out of character for him, usually he wasn’t good at comforting others, but he felt like he needed to. Something drew him to you.
You smiled weakly. “It’s been three years. You learn to cope and move on quickly. Especially with this kind of life. You don’t get to mope around, there’s always stuff to do here so you have to work through it.”
“It must’ve been hard, having to do everything yourself after having someone else to split the chores with.”
“It was. But you get used to it. You sorta look like him too. The long hair and eyes, they’re just like his.” You smiled. “Anyway…enough about me. You can stay as long as you’d like. I’ve only got one bedroom but the couch is surprisingly comfortable. I’ve taken many naps on it. Sorry I can’t offer you something better.”
Five smiled. “Anything is better than what I’ve been sleeping on for the past six years.”
——————————————————————
Five originally planned on staying for a few days. But a few days turned into a few weeks, which then turned into a few months.
He hadn’t given up on finding a way home but he got a little…distracted. He helped you out around the house and small farm you had. You taught him how to do a lot of the more labour intensive tasks and over time you two grew closer.
You were in the greenhouse, collecting some of the strawberries to make jam later when Five appeared in the doorway, a watering can in his hand. He was wearing a green knitted sweater that used to be your husband’s favourite. He paused for a second to admire you and smiled to himself and busied himself with watering the plants.
You glanced over and smirked to yourself and picked one of the smaller strawberries and threw it at him. He tried to hold back a smile at your antics when he got hit with another strawberry, and then another, and another. Finally, he turned to you.
“You’re not going to have enough to make jam if you keep throwing them at me.” He smiled gently at you.
“Ah, they’re just the shitty ones I would’ve fed to the chickens. I think I have enough now anyway.” You took a few steps towards him before you stepped on the handle of a trowel that was left on the ground. It caused you to slip and you dropped the basket of strawberries in shock, you prepared to catch yourself when Five caught you just in time.
You both made eye contact. You felt a shiver go down your spine at seeing eyes that looked so similar to your late husbands. You felt yourself get lost in them the longer you looked and Five felt the same.
The last person he ever loved was Delores, and she wasn’t even real but he loved her all the same. But you made him feel the same way, only a thousand times more. He had started to fall for you over the months of being alone together.
He glanced down at your parted lips, silently asking for permission. You sucked in a small breath and looked down at his. He slowly leaned in, tilting his head slightly before closing his eyes and softly kissing you. When you parted you looked at each other again before Five whispered.
“Was that weird?”
“No…but that’s what makes it weird.” You replied.
At that, Five cupped the back of your neck and pulled you closer, bringing your lips back to his. This time the kiss was more passionate and loving. You held onto his shoulders, gripping his sweater.
You slowly dragged your kisses down his jaw right to a specific spot on his neck and harshly sucked. Five threw his head back and moaned lightly. He hadn’t been given a hickey before but it felt so good. After a few seconds you pulled away and admired the bruise starting to form.
You pulled away from him and walked towards the greenhouse door. He looked at you in confusion, wondering if he did something wrong or if you were just toying with him when you turned around to look at him and leaned against the doorframe.
“You coming?” You smirked with a look in your eyes.
He grinned and stalked towards you with a predatory look on his face. You giggled and took off towards the house with him chasing behind you.
——————————————————————
Five had been with you for six months now. He has since graduated from sleeping on the couch to sharing your bed.
He has been everything you could ask for. Attentive, loving, patient, caring, hard working, etc. He was perfect in your eyes.
You were once again in the greenhouse. It was your favourite place after all. You were sat on a crate, using some shears to tidy up some flowers for the small bouquet you were putting together.
Five walked in carrying two rabbits. “Oh wow look at that. Two this time.” You smiled.
“All because of your traps.” He winked and kneeled in front of you.
“Such a flatterer.” You smirked as you put down the shears and placed the last flower with the rest. “What are you hiding?” You inquired with a raised eyebrow.
“What do you mean?” He asked, trying hard to hide his smile.
“I know you. You got that look.”
“What look?”
“That guilty ‘I have a secret’ look!” You laughed.
“I have no such look.” He bit his lip holding back his smile.
“Whatever.” You rolled your eyes with a grin.
“Ok ok you’re twisting my arm.” He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls something out. “Here.” He holds it out to you.
You gently take it from him and notice it’s a bracelet made of metal. It’s beautifully twisted together making a unique piece of art. “Oh…Five, this is beautiful. Where did you get this?”
“I made it. Used the scrap metal I found lying around.” He looked up at you.
“I love it.” You looked up from admiring the bracelet into his eyes.
“I aim to please.” He looked at you full of love and smiled.
You grabbed the back of his head and pulled him in for a kiss. He placed a hand on your waist and leaned in to the kiss. He was always such a good kisser. It was passionate and full of love and want and always left you breathless.
You both slowly pulled away, leaning your foreheads together as you caught your breath.
“I love you, Five.” you whispered as you softly scratched his scalp.
“I love you too. So much.” He replied, his thumb rubbing your waist.
As much as you’d love to keep the moment going, he slowly pulled away and stood up. “I’m going to go look for more scrap metal, we’re getting low and one of the traps needs to be fixed. I’ll be back in time for dinner.”
“Oh, okay. Be careful.” You smiled at him as he stood in the doorway.
“I will, love.” He replied softly before turning around and leaving.
Your smile fell as soon as he was gone. Now was as good a time as any.
——————————————————————
Despite finding peace and happiness with you, Five never stopped trying to find a way back home. His family was important to him and even though you were apart of it now, he still wanted to get back to his siblings.
He told you all about his family, his powers, how he got trapped in the future, his true age, everything that lead him to that point in time with you. The only thing he left out, was the subway. It was quite a distance away from your little piece of heaven and he didn’t want you to get stuck by accident like he did.
It was the one secret he kept from you, but what he didn’t know was that you had one of your own.
You had been feeling suspicious for a while about where he was getting all the metal. It was woods and foliage for miles so you had no clue where he was getting it all.
You weren’t stupid, you knew how much his family meant to him and you saw how it effected him being away from them for so long yet again. There would be days where he wasn’t himself, he was visibly depressed and his mind was occupied with the thoughts of his family. He would reassure you that he loved his life with you and didn’t regret a single thing, but being apart from them was hard.
But you were selfish. As much as you would love to meet his family, you refused to lose the one man that made you happy, again.
You waited for Five to get a head start before you went after him. You had to be careful, you knew he was a trained assassin and a former CIA agent, one little mistake and he’d catch you and you didn’t have an excuse thought up if he did. Luckily, you had some training yourself. Not at the level of Five’s but good enough where you were able to sneak up on him a few times before.
You followed a few yards behind him, staying close by but far enough behind where you won’t lose sight of him.
After about twenty minutes of walking, Five reached the entrance to the subway station. He looked around as a precaution before descending the stairs. Luckily, you had ducked down before he could spot you, you rose from your spot as you watched him go down the stairs.
You walked over and looked down from the top of the stairs and sighed heavily.
——————————————————————
A few months later, you were outside feeding the chickens when Five walked outside, he had the messenger bag he always used when going out slung around him.
He hadn’t needed to go to the subway station since the time you secretly followed him but a lot of things needed repairs recently so he had to find some more metal soon.
He walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around you and kissed your cheek. “I’m going out now. Be back soon, okay?” He said softly as he rested his head on your shoulder.
Five has become more touchy and cuddly recently and you’re not too sure why but you’re not exactly complaining.
“I can come with you. I don’t have much else to do right now that’s urgent. Just lemme finish up here.” You replied, throwing the rest of the seed to the birds.
“No no, it’s okay, love. You stay here. It’s safer here than out there.” He tried persuade you.
You huffed and turned around in his arms. “Five, I’ve survived out here on my own for three years before you showed up. I think I can handle it.”
“I know, but please? Just stay here. It gives me peace of mind knowing you’re here safe.” He looked down at you with pleading eyes.
You sighed exasperatedly. “Fine. But don’t be too long or I’m coming after you.”
“I won’t, love. See you soon.” He kissed you before taking off.
Five felt guilty. He had found a notebook that had the answers to find his way back home. He had held on to it for so long but he had no clue how to bring it up to you. He loved you, and he loved his life with you so much. But he also wanted to save his family, and as much as he’d love to bring them here, he knew most of them would refuse to drop their new lives to start over completely. Plus your cottage and garden kept both of you living comfortably and he had no idea what this timelines world was like outside of the small bubble you stayed in.
He was going to scavenge for metal but he was also hoping to study the notebook a little more. He had covered the subway walls in equations while he tried to think of all the possibilities of getting his family safe while also being able to stay with you. He knew you wouldn’t want to leave your timeline, especially since the one he was trying to get back to was turning to shit quite quickly.
Five had walked this path so many times that he was walking on auto pilot while looking down at the notebook and thinking. He had made it to the station and was about to take the first step down when he bumped into something solid.
He looked up and saw a bunch of wooden planks and chains blocking the entrance.
“What the hell?” He muttered to himself.
“I knew you’d come here.” He turned around when he heard your voice. You were stood a few feet away looking disappointed.
“Y/N? What are you doing here? I told you to stay back.”
“I know. But I wasn’t going to let you go down there again.” You crossed your arms.
“You did this?” He gestured to the shoddily put together barrier. “How do you even know about this place?”
“I followed you last time. I knew you were hiding something. Plus I was curious as to where all the metal was coming from. So…what’s that?” You nodded towards the notebook he was still holding.
“You have no right to keep me out of there.” He ignored the question and walked towards you.
“I can do whatever the fuck I want. You’re not going down there again.” You stood your ground.
“Oh yeah? And where else would I get the materials we need?” He was starting to get pissed off.
“Fuck all that! I don’t give a shit about that! What are you doing down there that’s so fucking important?” You yelled, getting frustrated with him diving the question.
“Trying to find a way back home! To my family!” He raised his voice back, throwing his arms up.
“This is your home now, Five. You’re happy here. We both are.”
“This is NOT my home. Without my siblings here, it will NEVER be home. With or without you here.”
That hit you hard. You felt a pang in your chest at hearing that.
“So that’s it? You’re just going to leave as soon as you can? You just can’t WAIT to get away from me huh?”
“Don’t be stupid.” He huffed.
“Stupid?! You won’t even tell me what the fuck is in that notebook or where you go it!” You waved your arms around.
“It’s the answer I’ve been looking for on how to get back to my timeline. Now, take this shit down so I can finish my equations.” He sighed.
“No.”
“Excuse me?”
“I said no. You’re staying here.” You stared at him while he glared at you.
Five got close to you, getting up in your face. “What the fuck is your problem? What makes you think I won’t just blink down there and leave right n-“
“BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN!” You screamed as tears finally started falling down your face.
This startled Five, causing him to back up. It took him a second before he spoke up again.
“What do you mean ‘again’?” He questioned.
You squeezed your eyes shut and shook your head, hugging yourself.
“Y/N…” Five warned as he took a step towards you.
You hung your head as your tears kept falling. “I knew about timelines long before you showed up.” You sniffed and lifted your head, looking off to the side. “My husband…he…he found this place years ago. He went on the subway and came back telling me all about it. He was so captivated by it that he kept coming back, taking it to different timelines. I went with him once but we ended up somewhere awful. I never wanted him to go down there again. I didn’t trust it. But of course he was too stubborn and didn’t listen. He went out one day and…never came back. I waited for years. I came out here every day for about two of those years, just waiting for him to walk back up. I wanted to close it off but kept it open just incase he came back. Then you showed up…and I…I thought that you…were him. You looked and sounded the exact same. Even had the same name. But I knew you couldn’t have been him from the way you acted when we first met. But when I gave you his clothes to wear…all I saw was him.” You wiped your tears away.
Five was silent for a while. Trying to process everything you just dumped on him. “So…I was a replacement, for the version that you lost.” He clenched his jaw.
“No!” You looked at him with surprise. “No I swear you weren’t a replacement. Even if he was a version of you and you had a lot in common, you’re also different. There are things you do, things you say, that are so different from him. I never saw you as a replacement. I never saw you as him. I just saw someone so familiar that I felt so comfortable with. You made me fall in love all over again with a whole new person.” You tried to explain quickly.
Five sighed and looked away, scratching the back of his neck. “I need to get home.”
You sucked in a breath. “Five, please. Please don’t leave me alone out here again. I’ll…I’ll do better! I will do whatever you want as long as you just stay here. Please.” You felt tears stinging your eyes again as you reached out and held onto him.
“Y/N…” He sighed. He brought his arms around you and held you close. “I love you. I really do. But I don’t belong here. I’d love to stay with you. I really do. But your Five is out there somewhere. Stuck just like I was. He belongs here with you. I need to be with my family. I’m sorry.”
You sobbed into his chest as you tightened your grip on him.
“I’ll find your Five. I promise. I’ll find him and I’ll bring him back to you. You’re strong, you can take care of yourself while I look for him.” He reassured as he nuzzled into your hair.
“How do you know he’s even still alive?” You whimpered into his chest.
“He’s a Five. We’re stubborn, and if he loved you as much as I do then I know he’s fighting to get back to you.”
You both stood there, the air cold as you held each other. Your sobs mixing in with the sound of the wind. After a couple of minutes, your tears died down and you slowly pulled away from Five. He looked down at you, evidence of his own silent tears on his face.
You reached up and wiped the tears off his face. “I love you, Five. Just as much as I loved mine.”
He caught one of your wrists. “I know.” He whispered before kissing your palm. You both looked into each others watery eyes before stealing one last kiss.
When you pulled away, you leaned your forehead against his, one last time. “Do you promise you’ll find him?”
“I promise.”
With that, you backed away from him and held your hands close to your chest, one of them playing with the bracelet he made you all that time ago. You watched him look at you one more time, smiling, before suddenly he was gone in a flash.
You felt yourself fall to your knees as your curled in on yourself as you sobbed.
——————————————————————
Five had managed to arrive safely in his timeline. He was going to keep his promise to you, but first he needed to see his family.
His heart was still heavy at the thought of leaving you behind but he tried not to let it show. He didn’t want his siblings to pry too much when the wound was still open.
He walked up to the familiar house and sighed before knocking on the door. It opened to reveal Lila.
“Hey there you are. Finally.” She looked him up and down. “What the hell are you wearing?” She questioned.
“I can’t be comfortable?” He countered.
“Alright, don’t get your knickers in a twist. I’ve only ever seen you in suits or a school boy uniform. It’s weird seeing you in casual clothes.” He rolled his eyes at her statement. He certainly didn’t miss her quips. Lila stepped back and opened the door more to let Five in.
As soon as he stepped inside he saw Diego with Grace on his hip. “Heyyyy you made it, Cinco! Come on in, take your shoes off first though.”
Five softly smiled at the sight of his family safe and sound.
——————————————————————
Five found himself back in the subway station pretty quickly. The Cleanse had yet to be stopped and everything was escalating so fast but he knew he had a promise to keep. He hated leaving his family again with no explanation but he refused to let you down.
He was prepared to spend another six years down there all alone just for you. Luckily, he had only spent a few hours searching different timelines when he came across a deli.
He had followed what he swore was an another version of him down there. He hoped it was the one he was looking for.
However, he was shocked to find the entire place was full of doppelgängers. “Hey! Over here.” The Five in the suit that he followed called him over to a booth.
“What is this place?” He sat down across from himself.
“It’s a gas station. What the hell’s it look like? It’s a deli.” His counterpart replied sarcastically, sipping some coffee.
Another Five chuckled in the booth behind him while yet another copy of himself placed down a mug of coffee and two pastrami sandwiches on the table.
“Little light on the sauerkraut don’t you think?” Five joked.
“Yeah, it says it on the menu and I keep telling him but…he never listens.” He shook his head.
“Sorry.”
“It’s not your fault.”
“Theoretically it is.” He picks up the mug of coffee.
“Oh, you’re not gonna like that.” The other Five points out.
He looks down at the coffee with a frown.
“So! I take it your figured out the subway system by now.” The Five takes a bite of his sandwich.
“Alternate versions of the same moment in time?”
“That is correct. You’d be surprised how long it took some of the Five’s to figure that out.” Five mumbles with a mouth full. It made him think back to you and how you always scolded him if he talked with his mouth full. He hoped you were alright.
Five swallowed and continued. “We’re all you. From alternate timelines, most of us have given up trying to fix the problem.”
He looked at his counterpart, confused. “What problem?”
“The broken timeline, man. There’s only supposed to be one.” Five sipped his coffee.
He thought for a moment. “I don’t get it.”
“Look around, Five.” He sighed. “Does this seem right to you?”
He looked to the side. “Well, no-“
“You think Einstein was thinking of this when he was figuring out relativity? Not a chance. This shit would’ve made his head explode.” He took another sip of his coffee.
“Ok so, what shattered the original timeline?” Five questions.
“Not what…who. And I’ll give you three guesses to figure it out.” A ding is heard through the deli.
“We did!” Another Five from behind the counter shouts.
The Five across from him looks exasperated. “Why you always gotta wreck shit, Brisket Five? Why?”
“By we he means…the family, my siblings?”
“The morons, yeah.”
“I’m familiar with them, yeah.”
“One perfect timeline and the moment we come into existence; boom! Shattered. Into an infinite number of alternate timelines in an infinite loop of time. As we try and save the world- how many times…was it again?” Five leaned over and asked the Five in the booth behind him.
“One hundred and forty five thousand four hundred and twelve.” The Five lowered his newspaper to look at the other two.
“That’s a lot. He’s like Rain Man, that one. He loves num- oh by the way. Look at the artwork.”
He turned and looked at all the framed photos littering the walls.
“All the different ways we made our universe go kaboom. Gold star for consistency, am I right?” He joked.
“We need to fix this.”
“Oh trust me, we tried. That’s why one of us created the commission. By the way that’s why there’s no paradox psychosis here. Uses the same technology that Five did for the panic room. He wanted to undo all the broken timelines, get back to the one and only. But that always fails because…?” He prompted.
“The family is the problem. We’re doomed to save or destroy the world over and over again and infinitum.” He sighed.
“Bingo.” A Five sat at a table holding a coffee chimed in.
“Bingo.” The Five across from him repeated with his mouth full.
“I need to get back to my family. Stop this from ever happening.” He stood up.
“Well…good luck with that. Guess you don’t want your brisket to-go?” The Five reached for his plate and slid it towards him.
He was about halfway to the door when he remembered his promise and turned around. “One last thing. I spent a year in a different timeline with a woman. Her name is Y/N, she said she lost her husband because of the subway and that he’s another Five.”
“Y/N, huh? Only a few of us have met someone with that name, but chances are you’re looking for that one over there.” He pointed to another Five who looked the worst out of all of them. He was hunched over a table in the far corner, head in his arms. “Used to talk non stop about his wife named Y/N and how he had to get home to her. Poor bastard got stuck and went crazy trying to find his way back.”
That’s all Five needed to hear. He walked over to the Five and shook his shoulder. The Five grumbled but lifted his head.
“Hey, I know how to get you back to your timeline. Your wife misses you a lot. She’s waiting for you right now.”
“Y/N?!” He straightened up.
“Yeah. C’mon. She needs you.” He helped the Five stand and lead him out of the deli.
——————————————————————
On the subway ride back to your timeline, your Five was pacing back and forth.
“Sit down. You’re gonna fall on your ass when the train stops.” Five tried to calm him down.
“I haven’t seen her in years. She told me to stop coming down here but I just couldn’t fucking listen and I ended up leaving her all alone.” He brushed his hand through his messy and dirty hair.
“Hey. She’s strong. She was doing just fine by herself when I met her. I promise she’s okay. She’ll be happy to see you again.” He sighed. He really wishes it could be him, but now that he knew his family was destined to destroy the world no matter how hard they try to stop it, he had to go back and be with them.
When the train stopped in the right timeline, he guided the other Five out. “Ah shit.” He muttered when he got to the stairs and saw it was still blocked off. “Forgot she did that.” He grabbed the other Five and blinked them to the surface. He shivered at the cold air. It must have been a few months since he left considering there was now snow on the ground.
“This way. I’m not sure how long it’s been for her so let’s not keep the lady waiting.” The disheveled Five followed close behind him, growing anxious at the familiar scenery. His heart started beating hard in his chest when he saw the cottage in the distance.
As they got closer, they could both see you exiting the greenhouse, a basket in your hands.
“Oh my god…” The Five whispered. He stood still in shock at seeing you again. You looked just as beautiful as he remembered. “Y/N!” He called out.
You looked around at the sound of your name being called. You had been hallucinating hearing your name in Five’s voice since he left so you were in complete shock when you looked over and saw your original Five a few yards away.
You dropped the basket, its contents spilling onto the snowy ground, and beelined for your husband, jumping right over the fence.
He ran towards you, quickly closing the distance before colliding in a desperate hug. Tears were pouring down both of your faces as you squeezed each other right. Scared that either one of you might disappear.
You looked up from his shoulder and through blurry vision you could see the Five you spent a year with standing in the distance. You smiled at him and mouth a “thank you” to him.
He smiled sadly back at you and nodded. You closed your eyes and nuzzled deep into your husbands neck. When you opened them again, Five had disappeared from view. You frowned, a part of you will always love and miss him, but you had your true Five back now. You could only hope he found someone that made him happy.
You pulled back from the hug and looked your Five in the eyes and smiled through the tears. “Welcome home, honey.”
——————————————————————
As Five stood hand in hand with his family as the Durango slowly consumed him, he thought back to you.
He had no idea what timeline was the right one, but he could only hope, that even if it was a slim chance, that your timeline was the correct one.
As you laid in bed, cuddled up to your husband, you didn’t feel a thing as your timeline disappeared.
——————————————————————
On the twelfth hour, of the eighth day of August, 2024, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary occurred.
Y/N would say, it was just a normal day as she watered the marigolds in her garden.

“Fancy seeing you here,” You crossed your arms, trying to act natural as the boy before you eyes you curiously.
“In front of the CIA headquarters?” Five mimicked your posture, “Jee, Y/N, fork spotted in the kitchen. What are you doing at my work place?”
You sighed, trying to fight back the urge of rolling your eyes. You were lying to yourself if you wanted to say that Five’s sarcasm actually annoyed you. After all, it was one of the traits you loved about him- surprisingly. You hated to admit it, even to yourself, but even if you were actually waiting for him to talk business, you never once missed an opportunity to meet him.
Especially if you weren’t surrounded by your noisy family. The Hargreeves siblings became your family by choice, and as much as you loved each and every single one of them, you couldn’t help but appreciate deeply the one on one time you got to spend with Five.
“I just got off the phone with Luther,” You said, putting your hands in your pockets, “Viktor got kidnapped, Five.”
As soon as those words eat your lips, you saw Five’s expression go from cocky to shocked, to worried and then to shocked once again. You hated you had to be the one to break these news to him, after six years of peace where all of you managed to live normal lives. You hated that you had to see him worried again for his family’s safety, but you had no other choice.
You all had to reunite to save your loved one.
“I’ll drive,” Five nodded, already realizing that the gang would have to get back together.
You and Five met during the JFK mission in 1963, when both of you were working for the Commission. You only heard of him around the work place, but never actually worked together. The Handler assigned you both for the first time to get the assassination done, but one thing led to another and you accidentally woke up in 2019, in your teen body, alongside him.
The rest is history.
As you got into his car, you watched him as he started the engine in silence. He was deep into thought, obviously worried half to death about his brother. You were as well, since Viktor was his first sibling you warmed up to, and honestly it felt surreal that he was in danger again, after six years.
Six years where nothing, and quite literally nothing out of the ordinary happened. After your third attempt at stopping the apocalypse and the Hargreeves losing their powers, you all moved on with your lives, keeping in touch now and then. All nine of you went separate ways, rebuilding your lives. Allison was back to acting, Klaus was finally sober, Diego and Lila were a family with kids, Viktor was running a bar and Luther was working somewhat as an astronaut. Key word, somewhat.
Five became a CIA agent and you were running a marketing agency, so you really only saw the family on holidays or random gatherings. You and him kept in touch the most. You were happy to say that he was your best friend, but sad that nothing more went on. If you were supposed to be together, you would have been by now.
After all, there was this drunken kiss you shared on the night of Luther’s wedding.
“Shut the fuck up, Hargreeves!” You giggled, pointing a finger m at him, “I respect Delores, I swear I do, but I do not understand why in the world she would put up with your ding dong face, honestly.”
“Oh, spare me the reverse psychology in which your jealousy lays, Y/N,” Five smirked, softly waving away your finger in his face.
You were the only ones left on the dance floor, intoxicated over the safe limit. After the whole family went to sleep, the two of you were still left quite energized. You didn’t know if it was because you were sixty year olds back in your teen bodies, or simply too drunk to realize how hyperactive you were, but you were not about to end the night any time soon.
You couldn’t exactly pinpoint the moment you fell in love with Five, but he definitely could write an entire book of how he grew feelings for you. It all happened at such a slow pace, how could he not? When he first met you in 1963 at the Dealey Plaza, he was immediately taken aback by your quick wit and intellect. He also didn’t think someone who looked so sweet and elegant, like the grandma who would take her grandchildren all the time to fancy restaurants and then bake fresh cookies for them at home, could also be a trained assassin, ready to fight off three people at once wearing dresses and heels.
It was love at first sight for him.
Then, when you kept Delores safe from Hazel and Cha Cha, he realized just how big your heart was. He was completely blown away by the way you held onto the mannequin with one arm, while dodging attacks incoming from both of them.
There was also this moment in 1963 when you held him in your arms after he went on a spree, taking out the entire board of the Commission.
He was so infatuated with every single action of yours, so deeply and intensely in love it was actually pathetic to him, to some degree. Now, as his hands were firmly gripping your waist, swaying your hips in sync to the melody on the speakers, all he wanted to do was feel your lips on his, for a first and last time.
“What’s on your mind?” You asked, as your arms were wrapped around his neck. You didn’t know when you got so close to one another, it was all just so natural.
“Ironically enough, you,” He scoffed, making you roll your eyes;
“Only you could make such a romantic comment and at the same time make me want to stomp on your face, Five,” You said amused, shaking your head in disbelief.
Five laughed, looking into your eyes. In his drunken state, he was not thinking rationally as he usually did anymore. He didn’t know for certain if he’d make it out of the apocalypse this time, and after the two attempts at saving the world, the regret of not tasting you was finally getting to him.
He moved his hands up your sides, resting them on your cheeks at last. Rubbing your face gently, Five leaned in to capture your lips, tasting the alcohol you shared all night. You were relieved to finally feel his touch you so deeply craved over the months spent together, pulling him even closer, as if that was possible.
That led to nowhere, unfortunately, as neither of you ever mentioned it again. Like little stupid kids, all these years you both assumed that the other didn’t remember that part, since no one ever brought it up ever again.
“Viktor will be fine, Five,” You broke the silence, watching as his knuckles turned white while gripping the steering wheel, waiting for the green light.
“I just forgot how fucking stressful all this shit was,” Five sighed, letting go, but not looking at you yet, “So stupid.”
“Hey,” You placed a hand on top of his, “We will rescue him and go back to our lives before, okay? Who knows, maybe it’s not even that serious- maybe it’s just some misunderstanding or a real easy mission. We stopped the apocalypse three times, I think some amateur kidnapping will be a walk in the park, okay? Besides, maybe by the time we get there, Viktor will have already handed their asses to each other.”
Five scoffed amused. You did always manage to be the voice of reason in his life whenever the over-thinking got the best of him.
You didn’t have any idea just how grateful he was for you.
