“Y/N-ah, do you want to hang out later after school?”
“Harin wants us to eat later together at lunch, can you sit with us?”
“Can you join our group for the school project? We can do it after school!”
“Hey, Y/N, can you teach me how to play chess? Help me beat Harin!”
Typical Wooyi, always asking you for help. You think it’s just an excuse to make you hang out or spend time together with Harin, which for you is a waste of time because you have other things you want to do than doing friendly stuff that you’re not interested in.
“Sorry, unnie. I have other things to do! Maybe next time.” is the response you always answer to Wooyi.

You sometimes wish that you are in the lower grade, like in grade C so that no one won’t bother you and leave you alone. Being family friends with Harin means you’re also powerful inside your classroom, that’s why your classmates are always clinging to your side because they think that you’ll favour them or something.
But you didn’t care. All you care about is your studies, not the recognitions but the information you learn. Such a nerd thing to say but deep inside you really love studying, learning so many topics fascinates you.
You are smarter than Doah, but you don’t even participate in school competitions. You’re just focused on gaining skills.
“You look pretty having your hair up in a bun, Y/N” Harin greeted you.
“Yes, you do! Can you teach me how to do that later at lunch, please, Y/N.” Wooyi practically begged.
Here we go again, Harin’s group always bothers you to join them during lunch. You don’t have an interest in being friends with them even though your families are good friends. You’re just not that fond of being friends with someone, you like being alone more. Plus, Wooyi enjoys to torture your classmate, which is like a redflag to you because how can you enjoy on tormenting someone?
“I’m sorry, guys. I actually have a thesis report that I’m finishing. You know, I make money doing these things for other students.” You replied.
Harin only scoffed and started to walk away from you. She knows that you’ll just reject their invitation to hang out with them. Harin can’t do anything about it. She can’t blackmail you into being friends with her because there’s nothing hideous about you or even a secret.
Harin could only stare at you from afar. She likes you– no–, she wants you to be hers.
She’s so glad that you being preoccupied with your hobbies means you’re less aware of what's happening in your surroundings. Harin could easily stalk you and you won’t even notice that some of your things from your room are missing.

“I read somewhere that the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen is airing next week.” Jaeun said as she sat beside you.
How did she find you? You’re sitting under a tree that’s far away from your classroom’s building.
“How do you even know I watch that?” You scoffed as you read your book. Does she need something? She’s usually on her own or with Suji. What does she want now?
“Oh, you don’t? I was actually giving this Geto plushie for free.” Jaeun waved the plushie doll on your face.
“Oh my! He’s my favourite!” You were shocked, you can’t find any Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise here in South Korea, and Geto is your favourite, “Can I have it, please? Where’d you get this?” you asked as you grabbed the plushie.
“Oh, umm…” Jauen was stammering. She didn't know how to handle this kind of situation. She’s scared that she might fuck it up after having your attention.
“He’s so cute! What do you want in return, can I please have him?” You begged her. This is the first time that your classmate sees that you’re capable of showing feelings, too.
“O-of course, uhh… I just want to be friends with you, can you join me during lunch?” You were too happy from the plushie you received that you accepted her offer without thinking about it.
And that’s how you ended up being with Jaeun. She always follows you around and you were too happy that one of your classmates watches your favourite anime. When you’re with her, you are too talkative about your favourite anime, Jauen doesn’t care though; she’s satisfied that she finally is on your good side.
Harin noticed that you finally are friends with someone, and that someone is the person who she despised the most. She was angry, she wanted to harm Jaeun but it’s impossible because of Suji always rescues Jaeun whenever she corners the tall girl.

Jaeun introduced you to Suji and Se-eun. You were awkward when you met them, you don’t really like social gatherings; you can only handle one person at a time.
So here you are, on the rooftop with them. Suji introduced you to their plan once they figured that you’re trusty enough. You rejected their proposal though.
“Sorry, Suji. I don’t have an interest in being a hero here. I know, call me selfish or whatever. Do you know who you’re provoking?” You asked them genuinely.
Suji still tried to convince you. You just rejected it again and excused yourself. Do they know what they’re doing? Are they high? Harin is so dangerous. Even if you want to end this game yourself, deep inside you still value Harin.
You’ve known Harin ever since the both of you were younger. You secretly had a crush on her, when you saw her performing a dance. You were in a trance, you befriended her. You thought at first you wanted to be just like her but as your friendship progresses, your feelings also progresses. You tried to ignore it but can’t help it.
Although, as the both of you were growing older, she started to change. Sometimes you think that she turned into a monster but still, you cared for her so much even if you don’t show it.
You wanted to be away from her because you realized being in love with a girl is rather unusual. You’re scared that she might notice that you’re in love with her and betray you. Harin is unpredictable, you’ve seen it yourself.
“Y/N!” Wooyi runs into you as she sees you walking down the corridor.
“Wooyi, I’m sorry, but I’m not in the mood right now. My head aches so badly.” You tried to make an excuse before she could ask another invitation to hang out with them.
You tried to walk faster, “The chairman wants to talk to you right now, I’ve been looking for you everywhere.” Wooyi said as she tried to catch up with your fast pace.
“What? She could have texted me beforehand. She has my number, ugh. I don’t even look presentable right now.” You mumbled to yourself, Wooyi seemed to hear that.
“Oh, don’t humble yourself. You’re always pretty! You should spray some perfume, bet she’ll go crazy over you!” Wooyi said, which she regretted saying afterwards because it confused you. The chairman going crazy over your perfume?
“Oh, I’ll head to the classroom now. Gotta find them bootlickers!” Wooyi suddenly parted ways, you didn’t even get the chance to ask what she was talking about.
You sighed. Usually if the chairman, Harin’s mother, wants to meet you, she’ll schedule a meeting or she’ll text you and your parents about it. Also, you never had a meeting inside the school because she said once that it feels unprofessional meeting inside the school. What could be the problem now?
You are now in front of the chairman’s office, spraying perfume over your uniform. You took a big breath before opening the door, you were nervous that you might be in trouble, especially after hearing Suji’s crazy plan.
“Hello, Mrs. Baek. I’m sorry if I took too long, I was at the–” you stopped what you were trying to say when Harin revealed herself by turning around her chair.
“Uhm… Where’s your mother, Harin? She asked for me, didn’t she?” You tried to ask to make the awkward atmosphere out of the room.
“That would be for another time, Y/N-ah.” Harin said and stood up from her chair; walking towards you.
“You’re smoking again, I told you that’s not good for you.” You tried to lecture Harin. You are now currently in the middle of the room.
“I didn’t ask for your opinion.” Harin said as she took another puff of her cig and she continued walking after passing you. Where is she going?
“Okay then, I better get going now if your mother is not here.” You rolled your eyes.
You heard a click. Harin locked the door behind you, trapping you inside the chairman’s office.
You began to feel nervous, you haven’t been in a room alone with Harin for the longest time. You tried to avoid this kind of encounter because you can’t contain your feelings. When talking with Harin alone, you will start to stutter.
“I wanted you here.” Harin dropped her cigarette and stepped on it. She’s aware that you dislike the smell of cigarette.
“Ohh, can we make it faster, please?” You were trying your best not to stutter because she’ll sense that you’re nervous.
“Enjoying being friends with Jaeun?” Harin started to walk towards you, which made you walk backwards as well. You were like a prey in her eyes, anytime she might devour you.
Oh shit. You thought to yourself. You forgot that Jaeun and Harin had a history before, she talked to you about this before! How could you forget it! It’s because of that damn plushie, you got too excited over that.
“H-harin, I’m so sorry. I forgot, I’m really sorry. It’s because she gave me the plushie, I got too distracted over that. I don’t mean to offend you, I swear–” You stopped your rumbling when your back hit the table. She got you very cornered this time.
You didn’t have the space anymore to move back and she still is walking forward slowly as if she’s stalking a prey. You’re very scared now, hell, you even are sweating too much for your liking. Note that this room is air conditioned.
Harin giggled to herself, “Y/N, why are you trembling so hard?”
She is now in front of you.
She tugged on your school necktie, which made you lean towards her. Since she is taller, you are looking up at her.
“Tell me, Y/N. Whom do you like to kiss?” She’s taunting you and all you could do is look at her doe eyes.
“Do you like Jaeun?” She asked you with a mischievous smile.
“I don’t like her, I don’t even have an i-interest to date a-anyone.” You stuttered, fuck you really are nervous.
“You’re lying, Y/N/N.” That nickname she used to call you when the both of you were younger.
“You’re stuttering, Y/N, it means you’re lying. Which one is it, hmm?” Her face is inches away from yours. Even if you haven't talked to her for years, she still knows your mannerisms.
Before you could even reply, she suddenly kissed you.
It felt passionate for a short time, not until she bit your lip that caused you to whimper and she immediately inserted her tongue. Did she practice with other girls before? How come is she so good with kissing? You felt jealous...
Your thoughts got cut off short when she stopped kissing you and started to undo your blouse.
“Harin, we s-shouldn’t be doing this.” She got tired of your mindless comments, so Harin pulled your necktie tighter that made you choke.
“Did I tell you to talk?” Harin only smiled when she saw you struggling. You were just gripping her clothes and whimpering because of the restriction of the air in your lungs.
Once she was satisfied, she stopped pulling your necktie and continued removing the articles of your clothes.
You were now left in your school blouse that is open, and your skirt; no bra nor panty. You suddenly felt insecure about your body when Harin was staring at your body up and down. Your first instinct was to cover up your body, but Harin beat you to it and held your wrists before you could even move them.
“H-harin” You can’t understand what’s happening between the two of you. Is she toying you?
“Stop talking, Y/N! God, you made me wait for so long, and then Jaeun easily caught your attention?!” Harin felt insatiable over you.
She then started kissing your neck, leaving marks all over your neck. You can’t even move and too scared to protest but deep inside you’re really liking this.
“You’re mine, Y/N/N.” Harin whispered, hunger laced on her voice.
“Hnng–, H-harin!” You yelped when you felt Harin’s long, slim fingers toy your clit.
Yes, you’ve touched yourself before but Harin massaging your clit felt so amazing. You can’t contain your moans anymore. You tried to shush yourself by putting your free arm on your mouth. Harin noticed this and…
She inserted two fingers, you aren’t ready for it, and it’s definitely your first time. It hurts like hell. You were struggling below her, and all you could do was to let out a shameless moan.
“A-hh, it hurts. It hurts, Ha-rin! Hnng!” She only removed your arms that were blocking your mouth and continued fingering you even if you're hurting.
Pain soon starts to feel pleasure soon enough. Harin is still putting hickeys on your chest area. She then started to look at your face, your fucked up face. Looking at you with adoration, you look so good even if you’re being fucked, Harin thought to herself.
“Baby, you look so good.” Harin whispered seductively, she couldn’t even explain how turned on she is right now. The stoic and nerdy, L/N Y/N, is being fucked out like this.
“You’re mine, Y/N. I don’t want you seeing anybody but me, you get that?” Harin starts to get rougher on you, hitting that one spot makes you struggle to respond to her. Because of that, she slapped you, thinking to herself that it might knock you to your senses.
“Mhhmm– sorry! Ahh– Fuck!” was all you could blur out during that time.
Harin only chuckled as she pressed down her thumb to your clit. Fingering you and massaging your clit at the same time feels like you’re going to climax soon.
“I f–eel, ahh! Like I’m gonna p–EE!” You gripped onto her shirt more.
“Say you’re mine, Y/N, then you can let go.” Harin teased you. She then started to suck on your breasts, which added to your stimulation more.
“I’m y–yours! Harin–nng. I lov–e you for so long, Fuck!” You didn’t even realize that you accidentally confessed your love towards her because of the pleasure you are feeling. Harin felt over the moon when she heard your confession, which drove her even more very crazy and continued to get rougher on you.
As you trembled against her holds, you couldn't contain yourself anymore; you tried to let go of the pressure you were feeling, and instead, you squirted.
Harin continued to finger you until you rode out your high. You didn’t even realize the mess you created on her uniform because you were still trying to calm down. So many thoughts were running to your mind that time and one of those is that you just fucked your long time crush.
“Baby, are you okay?” Harin asked you with softness evident in her voice. She brushed your baby hairs out of your face with her dry hand. You look so exhausted, and your face is very flushed. You just nodded weakly, too tired to say anything.
You were laid against the table, and Harin decided to take you on the couch so that you could rest comfortably. You’re too tired to even care about your appearance at that time. You just let Harin help you wear your panty and your bra.
Maybe you could rest for a bit, so you decided to close your eyes.
“I love you.” Harin whispered as she was doing after care to you. She must have thought you were asleep.
“You do?”
“Yes, so much. I was trying so hard to reconnect our friendship again.” Harin kissed you passionately and with love this time.
“You’re wet?” You asked sheepishly as you felt her clothes.
“Oh, you squirted.” Harin smiled at you.
“What? No, I did not!” Harin laughed at your response. You’re still stubborn as you were before when both of you were younger. Harin only stared at you blankly. You can’t seem to read what her thoughts are, so you decided to break the awkward silence.
“So, is Mrs. Baek really asking for me?” You asked.
“No, it’s my last resort,” she confessed, “I can’t seem to get you all alone for myself, why are you avoiding me?” Harin asked you as she caressed your face.
You avoided her gaze, “It’s because… I’m scared that I have feelings for you, more than friends.”
There was silence again, when you looked up at her, she looked as if she were in a daze; lost in your beautiness. She was still caressing your face that time. You leaned up and kissed her with all the strength you had. The both of you kissed that you felt like it lasted for hours.
You stopped kissing her because it might lead the both of you to another round, and you still have classes to attend to.
You are fixing yourself, trying to look presentable after Harin fucked you out. Hickeys all over your neck, your hair is tangled mess, your clothes crumpled. Suddenly, Harin hugged you from your back, and you felt the wet spot on her clothes.
“Harin, go change your clothes. It’s disgusting!” You tried to wiggle out of her embrace and then laugh when she kissed your neck.
“It’s your fault, you peed on me!” Harin protested.
Let’s just say she never lived that day down when you squirted and always teased you that you peed on her.

I've read your requests. Sorry if I didn't get to reply, but I'll be working on those soon!
I'll also go back to school tomorrow, so it might take me a while to post again. Sorry!
If you have any requests, dont hesitate to send them^^

⚠️ Spoilers ahead, drug overdose is mentioned
The next morning you woke up before your alarm. As you say up from the bed your eyes fell on harin's sleeping body. Maybe she could let go of the past, make things right step by step. Jaeun would forgive her bu the rest ? You understand why she wants to transfer but the thought of letting her go after yesterday hurts you.
It was 5 a.m so you still had an hour before you had to leave for school. You got up and went to the kitchen to prepare some coffee and breakfast. Sharing that room together had some perks because now you know what she likes to eat. As you're preparing the food harin walls in the kitchen yawning. She walks up to you without a word and hugs you from behind, placing her head on your shoulder and watches what you're doing.
"good morning, I made some coffee if you want some and breakfast will be ready soon" you turn your head when you're done talking and planted a kiss on her cheek. She hummed as a response and tightened her hold on you, "What's wrong"
"I woke up and you weren't there."
Oh. You fought back a ridiculous big smile and turned around in her arms, "i'm sorry. I thought you would be asleep for a bit longer, My plan was making breakfast and then waking you up."
harin's eyes focus on the fruit and pancakes you had made. "it's okay." she leaned down stealing a kiss before sitting down on one of the chairs at the kitchen island. She poured coffee for the both of you and grabbed some food. As you're sipping your coffee you notice her demeanor change slightly, "I can't come to school with you. I need to go home and take care of some stuff."
"will I see you again if you transfer?" you hoped she would just go to another school nearby but the news of the school was everywhere.
"no. I'd have to go international. My dad had mentioned an ivy league school but I didn't want to leave back then." back then. When everything was under her control and nobody knew. " I have something for you." she took a piece of paper out of her pants and slipped it to you," don't read it yet."she quickly said as you were unfolding the piece.
" when do I open it? " you raised an eyebrow.
" later. I'm going home and if I don't show up tomorrow you can read it."
" why wouldn't you show up? What are you going to do? " you got worried at the thought of her getting hurt.
"Things go fast with my family. For all I know they could put me on a plane the moment I say the word transfer." she finished her plate and got up from her chair, walked around the island and kissed you, " i really have to go before my parents leave for work. The sooner this gets sorted the better. "
You pull her in again before she can pull away. If this is the last time you can kiss her then you will make sure it's better than a quick peck. You cup her face as your lips moved against one anothers, your thumbs softly caressing her cheeks and her hands on top of yours. "I love you" you rest your forehead against hers as you said it for the second time to her, " no matter what happens you remember that okay? You'll always have me." she pulls away from you and makes a move to the door but you couldn't just let her go, "wait! Give me just a second, I have something for you too" you stood up and ran to your room to find a bracelet you had made weeks ago. you run back and motion for her to give her wrist, "I know it's not your usual designer bracelets but I made this a while ago and I want you to have it."
She looks down at it as you clasped it shut, "i love it" she twirls it around and you see her smile at the little symbol. "really? A pyramid?"
"what? It could be a regular triangle?" She glares at you and you laugh, "fine it is. I may not have liked the game but it's kind of the start of our story. I want you to have it, so you can think about me whenever you see it. To remind you, you're never truly alone. I'll always be there."
She smiled at you and pulls you in for a last kiss before leaving your place. Just like she said harin didn't show up at the end of the day, you wanted to believe that maybe she was running late so you waited one more day. At school rumors started to fly around about jaeun and suji being involved in a fire somewhere but you didn't really believe it unless they say something themselves. It wasn't until they added harin Into the rumor that you started to pay attention. Having enough of the doubt you made your way to the roof and we're lucky enough to see jaeun standing alone.
"Hey, I know this might be weird but there have been rumors about you and suji. Do you know about that?" you leaned against the ledge as you looked over the school grounds.
"yeah, it's true." she nodded, "harin had texted me to come there, she told me why she did what she did and I had to watch what happened to her." jaeun sighs as she looked at your confused expression, " she took opiods, a lot of them. I-I think she was planning to overdose."
"no. No she wouldn't!" you shook your head, "she came to me and- she was going to transfer to another school. She asked me to come with her. but she- she went home to talk to her parents. She wouldn't"
"That's what happened. The Fire department got us out and took us to the hospital, that's the last time I saw her."
"you didn't ask about her? How she was doing? If she was-" your voice cracked, "I have to go." you mutter and ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind you and splashed some water in your face. Going over everything that happened the past few days, you try to find any clue and that's when you remembered the letter. You took it out of your bag and fiddled with shaking hands to get it open.
Y/n
I'm so sorry for what I'm about to do. I never wanted to hurt you and I failed to protect you from dayeon back in Busan. I'm on my way home to ask my parents for a transfer and I'll ask for the paperwork for you too just in case you change your mind. I understand that you can't drop everything for me and It was unfair of me to ask you. There are a lot of people I've hurt and i need to settle things once and for all.
Last night was perfect and I'm sorry for leaving like this. You're the most amazing person and I need you to know that I love you. I know I didn't say it back last night but I do. I was scared that if I told you I wouldn't be able to do what needs to be done. No matter what happens you'll always be my first love, the only person who saw the real me.
Remember that I love you and I'm deeply sorry for taking the coward way out instead of telling you all this in person.
Harin
The coward way out? So she actually was planning to overdose? Or was she just talking about writing it instead of telling you? Where is she now? You put the letter back in your bag and left school to go to her house. They could tell you more about how she was and if you could see her. It didn't take you too long to get a cab and drive towards harin's house. You buzzed at the front gate and a female voice answered.
"hello miss, I'm... I know harin and I heard about what happened with her. I was just wondering if she was doing okay?" You bit your lip as the other side stayed silent.
"she isn't here and she won't return."
"why? Can I get an address then? I really want to see her and make sure she's okay."
"I can't help you sorry. Now leave before I call the police." with that the line cuts and you're left standing at the gate of the mansion. The hospital, that's the only place she could be right? You open your phone to get another cab and once at the hospital you ask for harin but they say there's nobody there with that name.
"she has to be here. She was brought here with two other girls a few days ago, they were at the orphanage that catched on fire?"
The women starts typing in her computer and humms, "two of the girls were discharged and the other girl got transfered to a psych ward."
"can you give me the name and address?"
"no, I can not. It's a closed facility, no visitors and everything is classified."
You thanked the woman and sat down in the waiting room and looked up psych wards in the area. As you were scrolling the TV was playing softly, you turned your attention at the mentioning of Baekyeon Group and that's when you saw it was harin's parents. You watched them talk about her actions and how they were revoking the adoption. How could they do something like that? She's a person, a human being and not some item you can return to the store! You needed to find harin and quick but how? Yewon! You could ask yewon to hack the hospital for harin's file. You grab your bag and once again get a cab to return to school. You find yewon at the back of the library and sat down next to her.
"I'm going to ask you something and you can't tell anyone I asked okay?" She nodded her head and got closer, "can you hack into a hospital? I need to find someone and they said it's classified."
"I can who are you looking for?"
"that's the thing, they didn't know who she was so she's registered as a Jane doe. They told me she was transferred to a psych ward."
"I'll see what I can do." she smiled, "Just write down the hospital so I know where to go. I'll try to go this weekend." you wrote all the information down and were thankful she didn't ask any questions about who it was. Something in you told you she wouldn't help if she knew it was harin and you wouldn't blame her. In the end harin did hurt a lot of people but she didn't deserve to be all alone. She didn't deserve to be thrown to the side by the family that made her the way she was and you would make sure everyone knew what they did. They can't get away with this.
You go back to your class and took out your books when you noticed another paper with harin's handwriting.
If you're reading this things didn't go as planned today. I know you must have a million questions and are disappointed in me for what I did but I had to do it. To be honest I don't know what will happen after today but i need you to know the truth.
I didn't lie when I said I was going to talk to my parents, I left your place and went home. I asked for a transfer but my parents said it was too late now,My grandmother told my dad to get me out. She didn't look at me like before and I knew I couldn't leave it like this, she expects me to take care of this so I am. This thing between me and jaeun has been going on for too long, After tonight It stops.
I didn't write this before because I wasn't sure yet, I made the decision the day after I left. That's why I'm writing a new letter to you. You're in the art studio right now, I passed by and you were working on something but I couldn't get myself to walk inside. It's beter that you think I already left since I didn't show up yesterday. I can't make you happy to just crush you the next day. You deserve better than that, better than me. I'm sorry if I hurt you again, that I broke your trust again.
Harin

Rank F

Summary: Baekyeon Girls High School isn’t your typical day-to-day high school. We run in a voting game system of A - F rank where the students get to vote for their classmates on an app called Pyramid Game. The more votes you get, the higher you will rank. Level A students have power over students while F is the opposite. I accepted the offer letter to go to this school without thinking deeply. Level A student, Baek Harin is there to protect me in exchange for myself. Would I be able to escape this messed-up game or fall helplessly?
Warning(s): Bullying, Hitting, Threats, Guilt, Emotional Manipulation, Overstimulation, Smut, Fingering, Oral, Sub!Reader, slight exhibitionism, slight praise kink

I shift uncomfortably on the single-cushion couch. I glance around the office, examining the architecture and interior. Compared to my current school, this one is much better. It is clear that whoever owns this school is rich. I clench onto my offer letter.
“Ahem,” The head chief clears her throat. I snap my attention back to her. She holds her hands together on the desk and smiles.
“Thank you for being patient with our meeting time. My schedule has been hectic, but I am glad we agreed on a day. Now, what is the question you have been asking?” She questions. I unfold the letter and place it on her desk. She tilts her head to the side as she reads the message. Her eyebrows lift with a delighted hum.
“You have been offered to go to Baekyeon Girl’s High School,” She beams. I blink at her in confusion. She continues smiling as she waits for me to speak.
“But I didn’t do anything to get this offer,” I explain. She purses and puckers her lips.
“Well, you see… This is a special offer letter,” She points at the signature on the bottom of the letter, “The president must have heard good things about you which resulted in you receiving an offer letter.”
“Who would tell the president about me? I don’t know anyone who goes here,” I try not to sound tense.
“There are many students that go to this school, I am afraid I can’t figure that out. But whoever requested for you must have done a good job influencing the president,” She chirps. She brings her hands over to the cup of pens. She plays around with it a little.
“Are you interested in taking the offer?” She asks with a calm voice. I look down at the letter, deep in thought. I have heard good things about Baekyeon Girls High School. Most of the high-power parent’s daughter goes here. If I go to this school, I may have a chance to become friends with them. It sounds selfish, but this is where I can network. What if I meet one of their parents? My mind buzzes with future opportunities that I might receive.
“Yes.”
-
I nervously brush my uniform: classic white button-up, black tie, and a long black skirt. Today is the first day of attending this school. The head chief offers to walk me to my classroom. The walk is quite longer than I expected. The classroom is on the far left of the building. I glance around and notice how quiet the halls are. She stops in front of a door and turns to face me.
“This is the room. You know where to find me if you have any more questions. Welcome to Baekyeon Girls High Y/n,” She smiles and leaves me. I nervously gulp while staring at the door. I feel small compared to the door all of a sudden. I slide the door open which causes all the students to pause and stare. I anxiously walk over to the professor. I give him the slip of paper. As he reads the paper, I quickly glance around the room. My eyes stop at a figure I recognize. I widen my eyes. It’s Baek Harin. Our history is not much. She’s a regular customer at a restaurant I worked at. I quit a few months ago.
“New student huh?” The professor says. I nod my head. He gestures toward the girls and looks at me bored.
“Well, introduce yourself,” He sighs. I lift my head higher and clench my fist.
“Hello everyone. My name is Y/n L/n. Please treat me well,” I announce while bowing my head. He looks around the room and hums.
“I guess you can sit in the back with Sooji-”
“She can sit with me,” Harin cuts. I look at her confused. There is already another girl sitting next to her. The girl looks at Harin in shock, but Harin remains emotionless. She turns her head to face the girl.
“Move,” She snaps.
“B-but,”
“Do I have to repeat myself?” Harin smiles coldly. The girl looks like she’s about to cry as she gets up from her seat. The classroom remains silent beside the sound of the girl gathering all her stuff in a hurry. I wonder how Harin has so much authority over the students. Is there a power system happening in class? Once she leaves to sit in the back, Harin turns her attention to me.
“You can sit with me,” She suggests, but it sounds more like a demand. My feet automatically move in her direction and she smiles brightly. I take a seat next to her and I get a sniff of her perfume. She smells good. There is also a hint of something I can’t place my finger on. Maybe cigarettes? That’s not possible though. How can a pretty angel-looking girl like her smoke?
“Thank you,” I whisper to her. She nods her head happily and then returns her attention to the professor. I look around the room and notice all the students staring at me besides Harin. I snap my neck away from them. From the corner of my eyes, I can observe her more. Her brushed and slightly curled hair catches my attention. It looks so soft. My eyes lowered to look at her long and black eyelashes. She flutters them slowly, expressing she's paying close attention to the lesson. My eyes dip to her lips. They are so plump, glossy, and pink. Her lips curve into a small smile suddenly. I glance up to catch her looking at me in the corner of her eye. Embarrassment blossoms on my cheeks and I avert my attention to my textbooks.
It took a while, but the lesson finally ended. I lean back onto my chair to stretch a little. Harin turns her body to me and rests her chin on the palm of her hand. Her eyes glint with muse.
“I placed you as grade A,” She starts. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
“A?”
“Yes. You are welcome. No one is going to hurt you as long as you’re here with me,” She explains. I decide not to question. I didn’t understand, but as long as I’m with her I would be okay. I slowly nod my head. She giggles and leans closer to my bubble like she’s testing how far she can go. I notice but I don’t move. She drags her tongue on her lips and I foolishly watch. She puckers her lips out in expression.
“How did you hear about this school?” She asks.
“I got an offer letter… and I accepted it,” I cut it short. She nods her head playfully.
“Who do you think requested you to come?” She teases. It didn’t take long for me to realize she was the one who requested me. My eyebrows arch up in confusion. I didn’t understand why Harin would request me to come to her school. Why is it now that she wants to get close? I hear her chuckle which brings me out of my thoughts.
“Why would you do that?” I question. She bursts my bubble by leaning into my ear.
“Because I think you’re cute. Have I ever told you that?” Her mouth brushes lightly against my earlobe. My hands clench. I avert my eyes down and feel my cheeks blushing shamefully. I hate how much she makes me react with little knowledge of her. The way my stomach feels makes me shaky. I tap my feet anxiously. She notices my obvious reaction and smiles.
“When you quit your job I got so sad. I searched everywhere for you. Once I found you I wanted you to go to the best school there is… which is here. Will you show your gratitude to me?” She hums. She places her cold hand on my upper thigh, halting my movement. I snap my head towards her with widen eyes. She beams happily with a curious glare in her eyes. I shake my head no. She dares by moving her hands higher, nearly touching my panties. I abruptly stand from my seat, squeaking my chair backward. My breathing is heavy as if I am a mad woman. My classmates stare at me in surprise while Harin smirks and leans back in her chair. I avert my eyes to the door. I need to escape. The only place to excuse myself is the bathroom. I shuffle my feet quickly to get out. I made a mistake by accepting the letter. Harin sighs and tilts her head towards the window. The blue sky is clear.
“Fun,” She grins.
-
It has been a week since that happened and Harin always wants me near her.
There was a time when I heard a loud slam from the back of the room. I flinched and turned to look. I watched as rank B students kicked rank F students in the stomach. My eyes widen and I freeze. How is no one in this room helping her? Why is everyone just continuing their day like nothing? I got up to help, but Harin grabbed my arm. She smiled and shook her head.
“Don’t get involved. It’s just part of the game,” She beamed. I stared at her in shock. She tugged my arm harder causing me to sit down.
“It’s okay. As long as you’re with me… that will never happen to you!” She chirped and returned her attention to her assignment. I am speechless. I hear student F begging for them to stop. I shudder in fear.
-
Harin drags me by my arm to her secret hideout during break time. I sit on the high wooden crates and watch her light up her cigarettes. I widen my eyes in shock. So the hint of cigarette smell did come from her. How does a beautiful angelic face like her enjoy smoking? One of her hands holds her white and gold lighter, while the other grips a cigarette between two fingers. She sucks in the stick and breathes out. The smoke bothers me, but I watch her in awe. She looks at me with a playful glint in her eyes.
“Why are you staring at me like that? Are you shocked I smoke?” She laughs. I shake my head no. She walks closer to me til she can sneak her body between my legs and blows smoke into my face. I grimace at the scent. She chuckles and places her free hand on my chin. Her thumb gently grazes my button lip curiously before she pulls it down. She places her cigarette between my lips and nods her head.
“Suck.” She orders. I shake my head no which results in her gripping my chin harder. I wince in pain, but her face remains blank. Her wide dilated eyes stare back.
“Suck,” She repeats more sternly. I try to find a way to refuse, but with the way she looks… I decided to submit. My eyes gloss as I obey her. I wrap my lips around the tip of the cigarette while looking at her. I realize that something stirs in her every time I listen to her. She becomes flustered and watches closely as I suck in the deadly fumes. The smoke burns the back of my throat and I start coughing. Yanking the cig out, she places it back into her mouth and takes a short drag. She smiles with her dull eyes. Tears gather on the surface of my eyes as I come out of the cough. She places her free on top of my black skirt. She brings her face close to mine.
“I want to kiss you,” She hums. I immediately lean my face to the side to avoid her glossy lips. She grips my skirt in anger, her face remains emotionless, but her eyes express so much disappointment. After composing herself she fakes a smile.
The harder you deny me, the more I want to break you,” She admits. My heart rate picks up at her confession. I gulp nervously. She decides to stop her action and removes herself from me. I suddenly feel guilty. I didn’t want to disappoint her. I didn’t want her to lose interest in me.
“I’m sorry,” I apologize. She crosses her free hand and waves her other hand that holds the cig.
“Get lost,” She concludes. I slide off the wooden crates and onto my feet. I wanted to say more, but with her back to my face, I couldn’t utter a sound. I lower my head and walk away. When I get close to the classroom door I accidentally bump into someone. I turn my head up to see who. It’s Sooji. She looks emotionless til she furrows her eyebrows at me. I feel guilty again.
“Sorry. I should’ve watched where I was going-“
“You smoke?” She questions. I widen my eyes and wave my hands timidly. I didn’t realize how the scent of cigarettes had stuck itself onto my clothes.
“N-no. It’s-“ I stop myself. I shouldn’t reveal Harin’s secret. It will ruin her image.
“These guys were smoking near my bus stop,” I lie. Sooji nods her head slowly. I smile at her because she took the lie. She takes a step towards the door but I stop her by holding her arm. She looks at me curiously. Her deep and emotionless stare reminds me of Harin. I lick my lips and avert my eyes to the ground.
“How do you feel about the game?” I ask, looking back up. Sooji grips her fist.
“...I hate the game. Whoever made the game is a psychopath,” She reveals. As she answers me I notice she’s staring past my head. I follow her gaze and see Harin walking over. She eyes my hand on Sooji’s arm and I self-cautiously return my hand to my side.
“Hi, Sooji!” She beams sweetly. Sooji doesn’t respond. Harin smiles widely with her teeth showing. A fake and numbing smile which I’ve seen many times before. She turns her attention to me and it makes me halt my thoughts.
“Hi, Y/N… Ready for class?” She chirps.
“Y-yes,” I reply, rubbing my thumb across my knuckles. She stares at me carefully before placing her hand on the door behind me. I cowardly under her pressure. Her body and the door trap me in between. I blush at her body heat against mine. I glance over at Sooji who is examining our interaction. I feel a wave of embarrassment run down my spine. Why is Harin doing this in front of her? It’s making me shy and… greedy. Harin chuckles darkly. She slides the door open and leaves me breathless. Sooji watches me silently with an unexplainable look. I turn to walk in the door without looking back.
-
I have rejected Harin’s kiss over and over and it has finally ticked her off.
“Aren’t you grateful you’re in grade A? If it weren’t for me, you would be in F,” She hisses, “Is this how you thank me? Do you need to learn your place?” Tears threaten to fall down my cheekbones. I can’t bear to look at her further. She looks evil. Her eyes are dilated and blank. She takes small steps forward which results in me walking backwards. She grabs my tie and slams me against the wall. I wince at the pain that spread across my back. She leans her lips to my ears. I push her shoulders, but she remains taking up my space and mind.
“Since you’re making yourself difficult for me… I have no choice but to make you rank F,” She sighs, “So that I can do anything I want to you.” I halt my movement to stare at her in fear. I am lost for words. Her true nature is revealing and it frightens me. She looks down to my lips and a sigh escapes hers. She looks back into my eyes. Lust clouds her mind.
“Stop,” I beg. She begins to lean her face in. I close my eyes as tears roll down. I hate it. I don’t want it. The classroom door suddenly slams open. Harin removes herself from me and I weakly collapse onto the ground. I look up to see Soojin walking in. She spares me one glance before walking to her seat. Ignoring us, she starts placing her notebooks and pens on the table. I wanted to get up and thank her for saving me from that, but I remained seated at the bottom of Harin’s feet. Harin remains emotionless and returns to her seat. She pulls out her phone and types something. Her posture is straight. I let out a sound of disbelief. She did all of that and can still act normal?
“What are you doing on the ground?” My classmates ask as they start flooding in.
“I dropped a pencil. It’s gone now,” I lie. They help me stand to my feet. I shuffle over to my seat. Harin ignores my presence and I feel a pain in my heart. I sit down quietly. I glance over her to see her emotionlessly staring at the board. Seo Doah, our class president, stands in front of the class.
“Today is the last Thursday of the month,” She says. I widen my eyes. Already? How is it already the end of the month? I look at Harin to see her lips curl into a small smile. Memories of her threatening my rank flood my mind.
“The 13th Pyramid game…starts now,” Doah announces. Shuffling sounds of students getting out the phones start. I reach for my phone with shaky hands. I press on the pyramid app and freeze. I have always placed Harin as my first vote and I assume she would do the same to me. There’s no way she would switch up now right? Just because I didn’t let her kiss me? I type down Baek Harin as my first. I look over to see that Harin had already finished. Her phone rests on the table as she crosses her arms. I quickly finish up my votes. After a couple more minutes, the voting officially ended. Doah looks at the results and hesitates. Her eyes glance at me for a second before she looks down again.
“The results are up. Please refresh,” She says. I hover my finger over the refresh button. Sounds of students mumbling amongst each other start getting louder. I press it. My eyes gloss in fear as I lift my head to look at Harin. I am grade F just like she said I would be. Suddenly I hear a loud whistle which makes me flinch. Three students grades B, C and D surround me like predators.
“I am surprised to see Harin’s pet drop from A to F!” Student B laughs. She strokes my hair like I am a dog. Student D pushes my textbooks onto the ground so she can sit on my desk. She tugs my chin and forces me to look at her.
“This is exciting. I always wanted to play with you,” She chuckles. Harin gently gets up from her seat and I beg her with my eyes to help me. She looks at the three students with a fake happy look.
“I don’t want to see any bruises or cuts on her, remember the rules,” She says. Student B giggles and pulls my head into her chest.
“Of course~” She chirps. Tears threaten to fall down my cheek. I feel so betrayed. I feel so lost. Harin’s talking about me as if it didn’t matter if they bully me. Did she not care? Am I just another toy? I clench my fist and try pushing the student's hands away from me.
“Harin please,” I beg. She ignores me and walks away from her desk. I am abandoned.
-
I grunt in pain as student D throws me against the basketball metal cart. She places her shoes against my stomach and leans her weight onto me. The softness of my stomach feels crushed under her feet. I claw at her ankles.
“Please stop,” I cry out. They have been bullying me for the past fifteen minutes since it was announced that I am ranked F. Student C laughs and leans down to level with my face. She brushes her thumb against my cheeks to wipe my tears.
“Awh is Y/N begging?” She pouts. She stands up and kicks the side of my stomach multiple times.
“Hey wait. Harin told us not to get her bruised,” Student B remembers. They stop their movement which allows me to suck in a breath. I groan in pain and roll aside in an attempt to run away from them.
“Oh shoot you’re right,” Student D worries.
“What are we going to do?”
“If Harin finds out… We’ll be in big trouble,”
“How about we-”
As they discuss amongst themselves, I pull myself to my feet using the metal cart. I bite my lips in pain to avoid making noises. I quietly walk myself towards the door. Suddenly a hand grabs my hair and pulls me back onto the ground. I let out a yelp.
“You thought you could just sneak past us?” Student B chuckles. She tugs my tie and slaps me across the face.
The bullying continued for another five minutes until they got tired and left me on the floor of the gym storage room. Finally, it is silent. I let out a shaky breath. Tears continue to roll down. I cry, but no sound comes out. I clench my jaw and pull myself off the ground. I drag myself to the door.
I bump into Sooji first in the middle of the soccer field. She has a notepad in her hands which indicates she’s running an errand for the professor. Her eyes soften when she notices my watery eyes.
“Sooji,” I start to sob. I face down to the ground in humiliation. My fist clenches to my sides and my body shakes uncontrollably. She drops the notepad and walks over. She places her fingers over the buttons on my shirt which have gotten loose during the bullying session. She fixes it as I continue to cry.
“T-thank you,” I sniff.
“I can help you. We can get rid of this game once and for all. If you want to join me… give me your phone,” She explains. With shaky hands, I grasp and pull out my phone. I wipe my tears with my sleeves.
“Can you really get rid of it?” I whimper. She looks deep into my eyes.
“Do you trust me?” She asks. The wind blows past my shoulders. I pause deep in thought. I would do anything to get rid of the F rank from my name. Desperation floods my veins. Without answering her vocally, I hand her my device and watch her type in her number. She hands it back to me.
“We’ll keep in contact secretly. I still don’t know who is running this game, but I have a hunch,” She discusses. She picks up the notepad.
“I’m going to leave so that people won’t get suspicious. I’ll message you soon,” She says before walking past me. I smile sadly and continue dragging myself to class. The pain in my stomach is starting to throb. As I walk up the stairs of the school building, I wince at each step. Sweat starts collecting on my neck. I take a break to catch my breath. This can’t be the reality I live in… I refuse. I hear footsteps which causes me to look over.
Harin.
She wears a beige sweater over the school's white button-up. Her neatly brushed hair rests on her shoulders. She has a bright smile on her face. She walks over and scans my body carefully. I feel small and dirty under her gaze. My white button-up has patches of dirt and shoe marks. My hair is messy and tangled. Her nose scrunches in disgust and my stomach flips. Do I look that bad?
“I’m sorry,” I don’t know why those words came out of my mouth. I don’t even know what I am apologizing for. My lips quiver in shame. She fakes a pout and leans close to my ears.
“Hang in there. It’s not your fault,” She whispers in venom. She takes a step away from me, but I clench onto her arm. She gasps in shock.
“Please help me, Harin. I will do anything,” I cry. She leans her face down and chuckles darkly. She tugs her arm away from me and my hand falls to my side. I stare up at her between my water eyelashes. She places her shoes on top of mine and presses down. An act of power.
“I’ll think about it. For now, I need to break you more,” She shrugs and walks away. Leaving me sobbing. As she walks away I feel my life crashing. No! Why is she leaving me? I need her! She is the answer to my escape!
“There you are~” I hear student B tease. I freeze in fear.
-
The bullying continues for five more days. Harin continues to ignore me. I watch as she laughs joyfully with her friends. I worry she has truly forgotten about me. I’ve started to accept my fate. The bruises and cuts on my body have gotten more intense.
I stare at myself in front of the PE locker room mirror. My button shirt is unbuttoned, exposing my bra and stomach. The bruises and cuts have started to become more visible. I rub my fingers across the bruise on my hip and hiss in pain. My under-eye bag has gotten darker. I have started to lose weight. I hug my body tight. The door swings open and I quickly cover my chest with my arms. I watch the culprit walk over using the mirror.
“What are you doing here?” Harin asks. I shake my head, unable to speak. She examines my exposed stomach and I see her eyes widen.
“What is that?” She points at my bruises. I stay quiet. She tugs my shirt and I try to push her hands away. She doesn’t stop til she successfully removes the shirt from my body. The cold air makes my skin prickle. She stares at my body and I blush in embarrassment. I have cuts and bruises all over. I feel ugly. I don’t want her to see me like this. She gently puts her hand over my cut and I hiss as she scraps her fingernail across it.
“Those fools… I told them not to leave a bruise or cut on you,” She fumes. She looks up to my watery eyes.
“I’ll fix this,” She promises. She picks up my shirt and helps me get into it. Then she hugs me. Her gentle and warm touches make me sob. I have not felt this in so long. She successfully broke me. I nervously clench my hands on her sweater. I want to hold onto her. I want to be in her arms forever. I feel safe. She removes herself from the hug. She smiles and cups my face. She brings her face close.
“Do you agree with everything I say? I can help you with this,” She asks.
“Yes. Please help me,” I beg. Her eyes dilate and she places a kiss on my forehead.
“Let's get you clean up.” Her gentle fingers help me the whole way. Once she sees that I am good, she tells me to come back to class.
I walk behind her as we enter the classroom. The room grows quiet and they stare at us. Harin looks around till she sees the three students that have been bullying me. She calls them over with a smile which they gladly obey. She suddenly pulls me forward with her hand on the back of my neck and rips the top of my shirt open. My collarbone is exposed, revealing a bruise. I blush at the stares of students on my skin.
“Didn’t I tell you not to leave a bruise on her?” Harin hums. The three students' eyes widen like a deer caught in headlights. Harin waits patiently with her fingers rubbing my neck. She waits to see what kind of lame excuse they are going to come up with.
“We left a bruise?! Oh my goodness I did not know! I promise we didn’t go hard. She must have done that to herself!” Student B urges.
“Is that true? Did you do this to yourself?” Harin asks me. Why is the attention back on me? I turn to look at the three students who stare at me with anger. I can tell they want me to lie or I would get punished worse. My fist clenches in frustration. All the days they have tortured me. They deserve to rot.
“They did this to me,” I fum. They stare at me in shock.
“I see,” Harin breathes. The three girls quickly bow down to our feet. I feel a sense of power seeing them at my feet.
“I order no one to touch Y/n from now on even though she’s an F. She’s mine,” Harin announces. I feel a gush of love flood all over my body. I’m hers. She told the whole classroom. I am not a secret. She saved me. I watch as she places her foot onto Student B’s hand. She applies pressure, causing the student to wince.
“As for you three. I have exposed your family's dirty company secrets to the world. This is what happens when you don’t listen to me,” She chuckles. The three students gasps and cry out, but Harin turns her attention to me. She buttons up my shirt and pats my cheeks.
“Let’s go to our seat,” She chirps. Her hands never leave my upper thighs the whole class time. Rubbing her thumb against the flesh of my inner thigh. She gives it a squish a couple of times and bites her bottom lip. Embarrassingly enough, I ignore the wetness that has built up between my legs. I am addicted to being hers.
“Come home with me today,” She whispers.
“Okay,” I breathe. She gives my thighs another squeeze. My body humiliatingly jerks up. I gently place a hand on top of hers. She raises an eyebrow. She wonders if I am planning to remove her hand, but I wasn’t planning that. In fact I start playing with her fingers. In awe at how smooth and long her fingers are. She allows me to play with her fingers.
-
“Ready to come home?” She asks me as she puts on her backpack. I put mine on and nod my head. I don’t know what she has planned, but I trust her. I want her to do anything to me and I would be thankful for it. She holds my hands and I feel my cheeks burn up. During the whole walk, she never let go. Students would stare, but I am glad they are. They need to know I am hers and, hopefully, in some way, she is mine. We wait by the road of the school and a black Mercedes pulls up. The driver comes out and opens the door for us. I agape in amazement. She is super rich. During the car ride, she distanced herself. She focuses her attention on her phone. I stay quiet, but I deeply crave her attention and touch. I distract myself by staring out the window. Twenty minutes pass and we start pulling up at a mansion. I gulp nervously.
“You live here?” I gasp. She laughs and pulls out a cigarette. In a quick motion, she flicks the lighter and lights the end of the cig. She smokes it and continues walking. I follow behind like a lost dog. She finishes about halfway before flicking it to the ground. She continues walking, I turn around to see a maid picking up the cig. The doors of the mansion open as she approaches. A few maid bows to greet us.
“Leave us alone for the rest of the day,” Harin orders. They quietly nod their heads and turn to exit. I stare around the building. The ceilings are tall and the windows expose large amounts of light in. The walls are pearl white and the chandelier glow. We end up in her room. I can tell by the scent that engulfed me when I entered. I stand awkwardly at the door, not knowing what to do. Harin walks to her closet and pulls out a pink bathrobe. She hands it to me and I blush.
“Go use my shower. I’ll be next door showering as well,” She explains. I stare at the robe.
“What? Do you not want to?” She questions slowly. I immediately shake my head.
“I do! I will do anything you ask,” I promise. She chuckles, her eyes dilating. She licks her lips and crosses her arms. She turns her body to the door and exits. I stand like a fool in the middle of her room before enter her bathroom and bite my lips. I slowly pull the black tie from my collar, staring at myself in her mirror; watching my fingers unbutton each button on my white shirt. I tug my black skirt down til it falls to my ankle. I turn my face away from the mirror and remove my underclothes then stepped into the shower. Once the water touches my skin I relax. I hum and close my eyes. The water relaxes my tense body.
Once I was done I walked out and wrapped myself in the pink bathrobe. I explore all her skin care products. With curiosity, I apply some to my face. The moisturizer sinks into my skin. I feel refreshed and clean. I walk out of the bathroom and see her sitting on her bed typing on her phone. With close inspection, it’s my phone she’s looking at. She’s in a white bathrobe. Her face lightens up when she sees me. She pats the empty side of the bed next to her. I shyly obey and crawl onto the bed. My knees feel the soft and smooth textures of her bed sheets. I sit next to her and play with my fingers. She places my phone on her bed desk and turns her attention to me. My face is already flustered red. She draws her fingers along my face. She drags her thumb across my bottom lip.
“I’ve been waiting to kiss you for so long,” She sighs. She tilts her head to stare at my eyes as she continues to play with my lips. My eyes feel heavy with lust. She gets in between my legs, her skin brushes against mine. She places her hands beside my head and leans in. She doesn’t ask for permission as she grazes her lips against mine as a test. Her lips are so soft and plump. I crave more. She returns to kissing me. I sigh in pleasure as her tongue brushes against mine. I wrap my arms around her neck to pull her closer. My mind is clouded with lust, I forget to breathe. She pulls away, leaving a trail of spit that connects us. She smiles sinfully. She bends to my ear as her hands explore my body underneath the robe.
“I broke you,” She chuckles. She nips my ear and I yelp. She laughs and brushes her tongue against the shell of my ear. She dips her face against my neck and grazes her teeth against it. She bites and I shut my eyes while wincing.
“Please be gentle,” I choke. She tugs my bathrobe open and cups her cold fingers around my chest. She pinches my nub harshly. My body thrashes and arches.
“I don’t want to,” She purrs. She starts sucking on my nibble. Her tongue rolls around it, coating her wet saliva all over. Every time she bites down I cry out. Tears start collecting in the corner of my eye. She glances at my teary eyes and her eyes soften. She leans up to gently kiss my temple. Her other hand sneaks between my legs.
“W-wait!” I gasp. She quiets me by leaving sloppy kisses on my lips. Her fingers play with my inner thigh, not touching my core. She pulls away, her eyes heavy and cheeks red. I stare at her between my legs. Her white robe fell off her shoulders, exposing her body. My thighs forcefully open between her hips. She leans back to look at me. My hair is displaced all over her pillow. My chest rose up and down fast. My cunt glistens and her mouth waters.
‘Let me in,” She blushes. I reach down to cover my cunt, but she jerks my hand above my head. Her skin rubs against my core and I grunt in embarrassment. She pepper kisses around my neck and ear.
“Let me make you feel good,” She purrs. I gasp for air when I feel her middle finger graze my wet cunt. She touches just the surface area and it leaves me sighing. She brings the finger to my face with a proud smile.
“You’re wet,” She breathes. She returns her fingers to the top of my cunt and refuses to move. She leans in.
“I am going to ask just one more time. Will you let me in?” Her eyes are dark. My train of thought is messed up. I can’t think clearly. She clouds my mind.
“Yes,” I finally choke out. She immediately rubs her two fingers against my clit. I arch my back and let out a cry. The humiliating sound of my wet core being played by her finger starts to sound louder. Suddenly she removes her fingers, allowing me to breathe. She kneels back.
“Take the bathrobe off,” She demands. I rub my wet eyes before obeying her. I tug the pink robe off me completely and the cold air tickles me. She takes off her white rub and I stare lustfully at her body. Her smooth skin and curves look so biteable. She places two hands on both my thighs and splits them apart wider. I widen my eyes when I see her lowering her face to my core. Her bare butt lifts up.
“H-harin!” I blush. She sticks out her tongue and licks a long drag up. I moan, putting the back of my hand against my mouth. She spreads my wetness and her saliva around my clit. She licks and sucks. My thighs shake around her head. I moan loudly. My hands go down to touch her head. She looks up at me between my thighs. I see her mouth glisten with my wetness. I breathe heavily. My hair sticks against my sweaty forehead and neck. She pushes my thighs apart further and licks harshly.
“W-wait! I- I am,” I can’t continue my sentence without moaning. Her tongue is so good against my core. I shove my hand against her head to push her away. I am too stimulated. I don’t know how much longer I can last. She leans away with a hard look on her features. She wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. She shoves her two fingers into my core. I cry out and thrash my body.
“Don’t push me away ever again,” She grunts between each thrust. Tears roll down my cheeks. Her long and skillful fingers plunge into me deep. I lean my head back into the pillow. I moan loudly which makes her smile. My legs fall onto her shoulders and she leans her body forward. She watches my features carefully; examining how my eyes close and my mouth opens wide to release sighs and moans.
“Harin.. Ah!” I cry. She continues abusing her fingers into me. Deep and fast. I knew I wasn’t going to last longer. I feel my walls clenching around her digits. My stomach feels funny.
“Agh! I am close!” She kisses my forehead. With a few more thrusts, I come to her hand. She lets me catch my breath against her ear. She removes her soaking fingers from my core. As she examines the wetness coating her finger, my phone rings. She looks at my phone on her side desk and watches how it vibrates against the wood. I turn my head over to see who is calling me. My heart drops.
Sooji is calling me.
Harin laughs bitterly, her eyes glinting with jealousy. I turn my body over and reach for my phone. My bare butt facing Harin. I fumble as I try to decline the call, but Harin presses her body against my back. She leans her mouth onto my ear.
“Answer it,” She hisses. She kisses my shoulders.
“What?” I blush. Harin rubs her hand down my back. She stops at my butt and slaps it. I flinch forward.
“Answer it and don’t moan,” I let out a breathy sigh. With shaky fingers, I click on the green answer button.
“Hello?” I ask. Harin plunges her fingers into me. I fall onto the bed with my ass up.
“Y/n, I am glad you answered. Are you free for the next five minutes?” Sooji asks. Harin thrusts harder as if she wants me to fail. I muffle my moans into the bed.
“Y-yes,” I choke out. Harin bites my shoulders and I let out a wince.
“Are you okay?” Sooji questions.
“Yes! Yes- Ah! I am okay,” I could feel myself losing control. I don’t know if I could keep my moans down with how Harin is abusing my cunt.
“Okay… I am wondering if you’re still on the same side as me. Do you want to take down the pyramid game?” Harin halts her movement which allows me to answer.
“I am not sure,” I breathe out. My mind is foggy.
“I found out that Harin is the creator of the game,” Sooji reveals. I freeze. I am lying here with Harin’s finger in me. The creator of this fucked up game. The game that broke me down til I am nothing but Harin’s submissive friend.
“I- I see…” I blurt. I can feel Harin breathing against my ear. I wish I could see her face.
“To remove the game, we must take down Baek Harin,” The clock ticks and I repeat the sentence in my head. Am I willing to take down Harin? The girl who saved me? The girl who would destroy the world for me? The girl who has her fingers resting in my soaking cunt? My wetness runs down my thighs.
“I can’t do that to Harin,” I finally answer. Harin feels her heart flutter.
“What? Why? This game caused you to-” Sooji’s voice gets muffled out by Harins.
“Good girl,” She purrs. I moan shamelessly. She starts to gradually increase her speed again. I buckle my hips against her finger. I sigh and pant against the bed sheets. Harin picks up the phone. She places it against her ear and smiles.
“Hi Sooji. Sorry, Y/n’s busy right now,” She chuckles before ending the call. She tosses the phone to the side, her eyes not leaving my body. She loves how my body chases after her digits. She loves hearing how I moan her name. She has broken me, but I have never felt more alive because of her.

BAEK HARIN x FEM!READER
Prompt: You let her bully you but you know deep down she doesn’t mean it because she’s just trying to uphold her reputation as the school’s IT girl
Warnings/Notes: secret relationship, smut, fingering, F Grade reader, red flag Harin, smoking, reader gets burnt with a cigarette

A/N: IT’S HAPPENING PEOPLE. It’s time to showcase how down bad I am for this woman.
Your eyes were glued to your feet in fear as you were corned in the classroom by Dayeon and Wooyi, each holding a pair of kitchen scissors.
As always, everyone minded their own business, knowing that they shouldn’t interfere with whatever an A Grader is doing. You started to shake, tears welling up in your eyes when Dayeon took the sharp end of her scissors and dragged it lightly from your jaw to your chin.
“You know when I was younger, I loved styling my Barbie doll’s hair. My dad would always buy me a new one because I’d cut each one’s hair until they were bald and ugly….wanna be my new Barbie doll, Y/n?” Dayeon whispered.
Wooyi brushed her knuckles against your smooth face, admiring how clear and flawless it was. “It’s such a shame you got 0 votes. You’re so pretty Y/n-ah…all of that beauty about to go to waste”
Harin gripped her book as she remained glued to her seat, trying to mind her own business like she always does, but hearing the two girl’s threats/back handed compliments was slowly boiling her blood.
She’d allow any A Rank to bully anyone but once it came to you, her rule would change.
You’re her special girl.
That’s only for you to know at least.
Harin can’t bear to imagine how her reputation would be if the truth was out. She truly loved you but she loved this pyramid game just as much.
And you couldn’t argue with her about it. Whatever made your Harin happy, made you happy.
“I think we should give her short hair like Do-Ah” Dayeon winked, making Wooyi laugh.
Your clenched fists stayed by your sides when the took a chunk of your hair and steadying the scissors against it.
“Yah, that’s enough” Suji spoke up with arms crossed, making Dayeon roll her eyes.
“Don’t you have anything better to do other than meddling with us?” The green haired girl scoffed but Suji pushed the other two away before standing in front of you.
“How am I supposed to do well in class when I can’t even focus? Are you that dumb to not complete a simple test, Dayeon-ah? And Wooyi, if you’re gonna try to be the prettiest girl in this school, then find a better cardigan”
Wooyi cursed under her breath and held the scissors like a knife, taking a step closer to Suji just before Harin slammed her book on her desk and stood up.
“Kim Dayeon, Bang Wooyi. Enough.”
The two looked at Harin and gulped, seeing her approach them with her bitchy stare.
“She needs to know her place, Harin. I think she’ll look good with blood all over her body” Wooyi growled but Suji didn’t falter, only sending the short haired girl a middle finger.
“If you two don’t listen to me right now, I’ll make sure you move down to D Grade in the next voting.”
Looking between all of them, you noticed Harin was now staring at you as her minions ran off to their designated seat but Suji remained in front of you.
“You too, Sung Suji. Everything’s handled, you can go back to your seat” Harin ordered.
“And what, let you torment Y/n? I don’t think so”
“What makes you think I’ll do that?”
“I can see through you, Baek Harin. I’ll seriously kill you if I see burn marks on more people like you did with Jaeun”
With a shaky hand, you tugged onto Suji’s uniform. “S-Suji, it’s fine”
Harin’s eyes darted down to your hand that was on her rival, not accepting the small skin ship. “Don’t touch her, Jeon Y/n.”
Suji held your hand and interlocked your fingers. “Don’t listen to her Y/n. I can help you”
Fire flashed in Harin’s eyes and she instantly yanked you away from Suji, pulling you behind her. “Don’t touch what’s not yours, Sung Suji!”
“Who are you to claim her? I’m not letting you hurt this girl anymore!”
You saw the taller girl point her finger in the shorter’s face. “Try to ruin the game all you want, Suji. But don’t you dare touch Y/n or get her involved in it”
Without hearing another word, Harin dragged you out the class and into an empty room, locking the door and sitting down on one of the chairs while pinching her nose bridge.
You stood awkwardly in front of her and played with your fingers. “H-Harin..”
“Are you trying to make me jealous on purpose?”
You looked up at her with wide eyes. “What? N-No! I was going to tell Suji to go away I swear!”
Harin sighed and shook her head. “I don’t know, baby. It seemed like you wanted Suji’s attention more than mine. Don’t you love me anymore?”
“No no I love you, Harin! So much!”
She bit on the tip of her thumb before tapping her lap. “Come. Sit”
You quickly did as so and held onto her shoulders for support.
“You’re such a bad girl, baby. Letting the other girls touch you like that. Tell me, did you enjoy having Wooyi’s fingers on you?”
Your lips were sealed but you shook your head.
“That’s right. The only fingers you’ll be getting are mine, okay?”
“Y-Yes Harin”
She tilted her head at you. “We’re alone now, honey”
You gulped and flickered your gaze at her plump lips. “Yes mommy”
Harin held your hips and forced them to move back and forth against her lap. “Don’t kiss me, Princess. That’s your punishment as of today, got it?”
“Yes mommy” you gasped when Harin moved you to sit on her thigh, letting you continue riding it.
“M-Mommy, feels so good”
“I know baby. Don’t be loud, okay?”
You nodded and watched the girl remove her cardigan, taking out her usual cigarette and favourite golden lighter. Quickly lighting up a stick, she hid the lighter back into her cardigan and moved one hand underneath your skirt.
“My good girl. Not wearing panties like I told you to” she smiled, taking a big puff of her cigarette and blowing the smoke into your face.
You didn’t like passive smoking but with Harin, you did not mind one bit.
Her ring finger and middle finger were flat against your soaked entrance, causing you to whine. “Mommy…Mommy please can I ride your fingers?”
“Always having manners, baby. That’s what I love so much about you…” she trailed off and leaned up to place light kisses under your jaw. “…go on ride me”
“Thank you mommy” you choked and felt full from her two slender fingers pushing into you.
Your grip on her shoulders tightened while you moved up and down, feeling her digits dig deeper inside your walls. You threw your head bag and murmured a bunch of incoherent words while Harin stared up at you with fascination, still going through her cigarette.
“God, you’re so pretty Jeon Y/n. I’m so glad you’re mine. My beautiful F Grade” she whispered, leaning her cigarette to your shoulder. “You know what to do, my love”
You undid the 3 top buttons of your shirt and pulled down the left side, exposing your black bra strap and the left over burn marks from your previous private sessions with Harin.
She hummed at your obedience and struck the lit end of her stick against a new space on your skin. The mix of the pleasure of her fingers plus the stinging hot cigarette was enough to bring you to your orgasm, clutching Harin so hard that her uniform could’ve ripped.
“Yes…cum for me, sweet girl”
“Fuck fuck fuck yes mommy thank you”
Admiring your fresh burn, she flicked the cigarette away to hug your hips and pull you closer, letting her continue kissing all over your neck and collarbones, even kissing your old burn scars.
She was about to move to your other shoulder, pulling down the shirt to expose your skin but she was met with a big bruise.
“Is this from Kim Dayeon?”
You were still recovering from the intense orgasm but managed to nod your head. “Y-Yeah..”
“Does it hurt alot?”
“Not alot. I’ll put ice on it, don’t worry”
Harin slowly pulled her fingers out of you and sucked it clean, noticing your face going red. “Don’t be shy, baby. You’re so cute”
“T-Thank you”
“I can punish Dayeon for you, my love”
“No I don’t want that, seriously it’s okay” you chuckled and held her face, tracing her bottom lip with your thumb. “You worry too much”
“You’re my girl. Why won’t you let me help you move to A Grade?”
“Just ‘cause…I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off you”
Harin nodded in understanding and kept smiling at you. “If you say so, my love”

Follow The Leader — pt. 1
baek harin x oc (original character) fanfic
TW: murder, child abuse, and a subtle mention of sexual assault.
Note: I wrote all the mentioned crimes based on research, not from experience. I
The gathered thin sticks crackle and pop, releasing small sparks that rise and disappear into the atmosphere. Its flames dancing and twisting in the air. The fire emits a warm glow, casting flickering orange, red, and yellow hues against its surroundings.
"AAAH!"
The little boy cried so loudly that his voice cracked, turning ragged. The metal, glowing red and orange, scorched against his femur. He immediately moved his hand to the metal, regretting it after the pain spread from his palm to his elbow.
A 9-year-old Jae-yeo stood, staring down at him as if he was the most disgusting creation that God had ever made. In front of her little peach-colored shoes lies the end of the small metal rod, obvious evidence of who caused the disarray.
Some of the little kids around their age surrounded them out of curiosity, others did because of shock. Most of them ran away in fear, and a few sprinted to the Director inside the Children's Home.
But unlike the others who stared at the weeping boy on the ground, a little girl — who was the closest to the mess — didn't even bother looking at him. The scene shook her without a doubt. It was when she heard a noise. Not humane but it's from a human. It almost sounded like an animal. She disturbed a second glance at him, then darted her eyes at Jae-yeo, and then her gaze didn't move from there.
"KANG JAE-YEO!"
It was the teacher's voice that broke Yang So-eun in her trance. Her eyes dropped to the ground as they followed the bright red lighter falling from the suspect's tiny grasp.
The teacher's eyes were widening— her body shaking more violently with every step she took to get her closer to the scene. The older woman didn't spare a second, she frantically rushed to the boy, almost tripping over the sand to hurriedly take the burning rod off of him.
His skin made a squelching sound, Jae-yeo didn't understand why she found it satisfying. She stared at the scene that she caused with an emotionless face. The rod sticks to the skin for a moment, a sting of molten flesh hanging on it as the woman tries her best to gently remove it from him, desperately trying to make it less painful.
The rod was hissing the whole time, for the boy and the teacher felt like an eternity, but she finally managed to get it off. As soon as she did, the boy made another wail. The teacher wasted no time and carried him, heading towards the infirmary.
"YOU— WHACK — INSOLENT— WHACK SON OF A DEVIL— WHACK!"
Jae-yeo kept her trembling hands high, refusing to drop them to ease the pain caused by the long meter stick repeatedly striking her forearms. She stood on a small chair, adding height to her little frame. The teacher, Mrs. Yer, held the stick, her hands also trembling, but unlike Jae-yeo, she wasn't shaking out of pain. She was shaking out of fury.
It wasn't the first time that the kid caused mayhem in the orphanage, but this was one of the worst ones. Actually, this was far worse than anything that she had done. Before, all she could do was poke one of the children's eyes or punch them when she was provoked— when her friend was being provoked. Locking girls in the closet or any claustrophobic areas or poisoning their foods with terrible aftertaste when they drop insults towards her friend. But now? She could've killed someone. A kid in her age.
That may sound exaggerated but her original plan was to swing the scorching to the boy's face. But thanks to the metal's weight, she had no choice but to let go and drop it into his thighs. You can imagine the horror of all of the kids' faces. But you cannot imagine the regret and disappointment Jae-yeo felt after fumbling over the metal instead of hitting the targeted region on the boy's body.
How did this happen, you may ask? Out of all the children in the orphanage, that boy, Ni-ki, was the most annoying one. He never learned his lessons. Once, he drank an apple juice that, unbeknownst to him, was made by none other than Jae-yeo. For four days straight, he was unable to move his tongue which felt like jelly on top of his mouth. And for another six days, he wasn't able to eat any solids and speak clearly. After his treatment, the culprit was revealed. Jae-yeo's reason is: "because he hurt So-eun."
So-eun. Her only friend in this place. So-eun was far like Jae-yeo. She was scrawny— Jae-yeo was at least healthy-looking— and she loved dancing and singing— Jae-yeo could neither do both— and she never knew how to fight back. Jae-yeo... She's the only one who protected her from all those bad kids. But as guilt likes to play with her, she can't muster the courage to do that when things are the other way around. When Jae-yeo was the one who was hurting. All she can do is stand and hope that her pain will stop.
Just like now. She just stood far from the window where she could see a clear image of Jae-yeo being punished because of her. Again. She felt like crying. And she is sure that that's how Jae-yeo felt right now with all those painful whips burning on her skin. But knowing her only friend, she wouldn't even let a single tear run down her cheek. So she tried her best to somehow imitate Jae-yeo's mindset. To stop herself from crying. Because how dare she cry? She doesn't do anything to stop Jae-yeo from being hurt because of her. She doesn't deserve to cry. Jae-yeo does.
And Jae-yeo tried her best to hold it back. Her arms faltered but after another hit, she held it up high once more. Through her teary vision, she can see blood forming on her skin, threatening to fall, making a pattern of thick and thin lines scattered on her soft silk skin. There are also faded scars, similar to the scars right now. A proof of all the bad things she did. Because of the meter stick, the old scars opened, causing blood and watery, yellow fluid to ooze out of it.
WHACK!
WHACK!
... WHACK!
With wide eyes, Jae-yeo's mind fell into a void. The stick snapped in half, falling on the floor with a limited series of clicks. The teacher was still yelling, probably cursing at her. But the little girl, can't hear anything anymore besides the constant ringing in her ears that goes down her neck. To her, the time suddenly slowed down, the sticks were still clacking on the floor in slow motion. Everything was in slow motion. Even her movements are in slow motion. The way she goes down on the small chair, almost tripping off the process, but her subconscious mind doesn't let her fall. The string in her brain that kept her under control snapped. It all seemed so gradual from Jae-yeo's perspective. She didn't even feel the stick in her hands. The stick was smeared with her young blood. The stick had a sharp edge after it was snapped in half. The stick that is now buried deep into Mrs. Yer's abdomen.
The teacher let out a scream, finally, the same reason why Jae-yeo was trembling. It was loud, extremely loud. But it was cut short when she felt the sharp edge completely go through her. Despite the terrible noises that Mrs. Yer made, Jae-yeo was still lost. She started at the end of the stick. Well... She tried to stare at the end of the stick but it was impossible since it was on the back of the teacher. So she let her eyes sit on the wound. She saw the blood. But she hasn't broken in her trance yet. But when the black starts to trickle down, running onto the rims of the stick, dripping on her hands... She blinked. The whole time she didn't, now because the warm liquid that passed to her made her wake up.
She stared up, the teacher's eyes wide, identical to hers, but Jae-yeo saw the reason. In the depths of the windows of her soul, she saw it gradually wanting to leave— she saw that the life in her eyes was slowly ceasing. But Jae-yeo was compulsive, she felt her pain running down her backbone, then with another blink, her eyes not widened but rested, she plunged it forward, twisting it until she saw the teacher's eyes twitch once, then twice, and fell.
She fell along with the meter stick inside of her. Jae-yeo let go of it immediately. And she stood by her teacher.
Jae-yeo stared at the body, specifically her face. The expression she made when the stick was piercing right into her intestine, was... Something that Jae-yeo couldn't quite explain. She felt something at the very outermost of her chest behind her skin. She couldn't explain it as well. Jae-yeo breathed steadily. Unusual for someone who had just killed a person. She was calm. Somehow she didn't feel any guilt— even in the remotest parts of her body. She felt nothing.
Something in her peripheral vision moved. His eyes flicked at the window, faster than lightning. For a split second, she was terrified that another teacher might have seen what a monstrosity she had done to her poor teacher. But then her eyes widened once again.
Oh, no.
So-eun.
A sweet, innocent So-eun was staring back at her with wide eyes. The poor girl was terrified. For the first time in a long time, Jae-yeo felt guilty. Not because of what she did to the teacher, but because she let her best friend watch how she just slaughtered someone right in front of her eyes.
And it's not just someone, Jae-yeo remembered how giddy So-eun can get whenever it was literature time in their classes. It's held by Mrs. Yer. So-eun mentioned that she is her favorite teacher. Mrs. Yer was the one who taught So-eun how to read English, she's the one who taught her how to write poems— she learned fast. So-eun wrote countless poems, most of which she always gave to Jae-yeo, who struggled to understand them because they refused to tutor her. Mrs. Yer never liked her the way Mrs. Yer liked So-eun.
Jae-yeo never liked her too, anyway. But since So-eun liked the teacher so much, she had no choice but to behave herself in front of her. But as much as she tried her best to do that, she couldn't. Not when that teacher was in charge of punishing whoever disobeys the rules. Even if she acted all kind and soft in front of Mrs. Yer, it could not be helped if she was the one who would discipline her whenever she crossed a line.
Unbeknownst to Jae-yeo, So-eun had started to grow a pot of anger inside of her when she first saw those fresh line marks on her forearms— it was the first scars that Jae-yeo got from the teacher.
A knock was heard, and Jae-yeo immediately whipped her head on the door. Another teacher entered the room. Her eyes instantly dropped to Jae-yeo, furrowed her eyebrows, and then noticed a familiar frame dipped on the ground, blood surrounding her below her.
That day was filled with a lot of screams.
"That kid is dangerous."
"We must get rid of her as soon as possible."
"Why don't we just contact the police? For juvenile prison?"
"No. It'll damage the orphanage's image. No parents would want to buy from us if they found out that one of our products would most likely kill them."
It was late at night. Jae-yeo and So-eun's knees are huddled up in their arms, listening outside the room with the help of the ajar door that serves as access to whatever the adults are talking about. Jae-yeo made an appropriate distance away from So-eun for a reasonable reason.
After the accident, the teacher who witnessed the post-murder of a teacher by a child called the other staff to help her with the scene. As they took care of the lifeless body, all the teacher could ever do was yell at Jae-yeo, too scared for her own life that the kid might do something to her too if she would ever put her hand on her.
They did nothing to Jae-yeo besides locking her up in her room to 'protect themselves from her'. The orphanage was too careful with its impression that they were willing to do anything to bury all their issues, hidden from the public.
The Haneul House was known for its perfect standards for parents who want to adopt. The outsiders adored the kids in the orphanage. But they didn't know how the children were taught and made — not born — as prodigies. The House made special categories for every specific 'specialty' of the kids. But not everyone is equal just because of that.
They have a pyramid. And each specialty has a specific part in the pyramid. The logical and mathematical are on top, music at second, arts and literature at third, and finally, theatre at the bottom, where So-eun was put. The children are treated based on their part of the pyramid so that they — based on the teacher's words — can be motivated to do better.
Jae-yeo can easily possess all these talents, but given her behavior, she fits into no part of the pyramid.
"What about the family who called us? The Baekyeon Family? They were willing to pay a large sum of money for one kid, right?" A faint voice squeaked.
"No." A firm one almost instantly answered like she just heard a blasphemy. "We will be digging our own graves if we give her to them."
"She's right. Beakyeon group cares about its image too much. That little devil will definitely cause them trouble, they will shut down this orphanage once that happens."
"How about... The Cheon Family?" the faint voice suggested slowly with caution.
There was silence after that. Jae-yeo wondered if they purposely lowered their voice because they knew that they were listening— the hunch made her swallow a lump in her throat. She turned behind her to see So-eun, who was already looking at her.
"That wouldn't be a problem for us, but we're putting that kid in danger—"
"She killed a fucking teacher! Why should we care what happens to her?"
Jae-yeo felt the hem of her shirt tighten behind her. So-eun's fingers dug into her night clothes. Fear and concern radiated around her, but thankfully, it was not contagious. Jae-yeo remained monotonous as they eavesdropped. But in the nucleus of her brain, something played with her emotions. Her? In danger?
"Mr. Yoo—"
"I agree with Ms. Ara." Another beat of silence. Jae-yeo managed to peek just a glimpse of a man, the head of the Haneul House, all eyes on him. "If we don't suggest her to them, it will be bad for us."
"... Very well, then."
Jae-yeo had never felt so small.
It was so chilly that her long sleeves and long pajamas were not even helping.
Her feet had fully neglected her control as they stayed planted on the hardwood floor. She wanted to get out of this room as soon as possible, to go to So-eun, who was now far from where she was. But because of how quiet the room was, distinct, familiar music kept her at bay. And at the same time, it made her want to run away and leave there. Her heartbeat drummed with the rhythm of the song— Magic by Secret.
Dark, eerie from silence eyes bore into her soul. A man who looked like he was in his 30s stood before her, staring at her down while his hands were tucked into the pocket of her onyx — even plain — luxurious pants. There was no doubt that he came with great power. A high-quality fabric hung over his shoulders, tailored and ironed.
Jae-yeo remained back at him. Though she didn't want to admit it, his gaze made her insecure for herself. It made her feel uncomfortable. She doesn't like to call it 'afraid' or 'scared'. She clenched her jaw in frustration and out of pure confusion. She doesn't like it. She doesn't like this feeling. She doesn't like this man one bit.
The man seemed to notice the way the structure of her cheekbones tightened, and the corner of his lips tugged. Jae-yeo's eyebrows twitched downwards.
"What's your name, kid?" The man asked after a minute of scrutinizing her.
Jae-yeo knew what was happening. All of the kids knew.
Today is the day when they are going to get adopted. And almost half of them are desperate to get picked. That explains the whole gathering in the main hall, where the children are expected to give their best to show off their talents in front of all the prestigious families. This 'get-together' event happens annually. Jae-yeo never got picked. No matter how hard the teachers pushed her, she refused to throw herself onto that stage just to entertain them.
The children here, they come and go. Most of them came from hospitals and broke parents who can't afford to provide for their kids, some were just trash on the streets who were blessed — or cursed — to be harvested out of their misery and thrown into the Haneul House. And that's when they will be forced to acquire a talent.
They are products in the process. And the families are here to buy them. Families who are unable to produce their own offspring, families who just want to use a kid for their own pleasure, families who want to use them for connections, and other purposes.
She doesn't want to be bought. And she's not going to leave this place without So-eun. Jae-yeo wonders where she is right now. She guessed that she was behind the building, sitting under the oak tree where they usually go and hide whenever the event starts. That's where they made the promise to not leave each other.
And that's exactly what she's going to do. She's not gonna let herself be bought. She's not going to leave this place without So-eun.
"Jae-yeo," she said monotonously.
The man smiled at her and knelt to reach her eye-to-eye. "How old are you?"
"I'm nine."
"Jae-yeo." He stared at her for a few seconds. "Do you want to have a family?"
Immediately; "No."
The man nodded and then turned her gaze to the teacher, who was standing tall beside Jae-yeo. She looks uncomfortable being in the room with this kid and this unknown man, that's evident if you're insightful enough. The man noticed it, too. And so did Jae-yeo.
The man eyed the teacher up and down before turning back to Jae-yeo. "I left some candies over there at the table. You want some?"
Jae-yeo, learning how to keep different masks at a very young age, nodded slowly.
The man smiled ear-to-ear and took her little hands into his broad one, guiding her to the Director's table. The teacher was about to take a step but the man directly sent her a stare, not a glare, but still emitted an uneasy feeling to her. "Go. You can come back if Ms. Cho-soon is done choosing. I will talk to the kid alone."
"Of course," she mustered a weak smile and hurriedly left the room.
Jae-yeo sat across from the man. The table was just beside them, in the middle was a bowl of different colored sweets. He slowly slid it to him and picked up a piece, handing it to Jae-yeo. She took it and popped it into her mouth. Strawberry.
"Can I see your hand?"
Jae-yeo, perplexed, stared at him with hidden confusion. Nonetheless, she brought up her hand to him.
He took her hand with gentle comfort and then flipped it so that her forearm was facing upward. I thought saying anything, he unbuttoned the buttons of the sleeves, exposing her sacred scarred skin. Jae-yeo didn't make any effort to pull back or stop him.
"There's more in the other one, too, right?" He nodded to her right hand.
Jae-yeo didn't say anything.
"Aren't you going to ask how I knew?" The man let go of her hand and took another candy, giving it to her. She ate it without letting it sit longer in her hand. She didn't say anything, the man expected that. "Want me to tell you a secret?"
Jae-yeo is always up for secrets. She stared at his eyes, the man saw this as an invitation for him to keep going.
He leaned in as if there were other people in this room besides them. "I grew up here."
The man leaned back, smiling at Jae-yeo's expression. Her eyes widened, and curiosity was visible on her face. "What?"
He took another candy, but this time, he didn't give it to Jae-yeo and placed it in his mouth instead. "I was like you." He pulled up his sleeves and showed her his forearm, white lines ghosted across his skin, and buttoned it again after giving Jae-yeo a few seconds to look. "Life was a living hell for me here. I'm sure that's how you feel, too."
Jae-yeo looked down, unable to deny him.
"I have no talent to show. I really thought I was going to spend the rest of my life slaving here in this hellhole for nothing." He took another candy and popped it into his mouth. "But then a miracle happened. A man in a suit came to me. He ignored the stage. His attention was focused on me while I was cleaning the tables for them. After the event, he took me. Cheong Dae-han. A kind man who showed me sympathy. He made me realize that I'm far more worthy than being here. He changed my life. He ended my suffering."
He took another candy and stretched it to her, but instead of taking it, she stared at it, hesitating.
"Jae-yeo. Do you want to end the suffering, too?"
Jae-yeo finally took the candy from his hand but she didn't answer the question.
"You can show them what you're capable of. You can make them feel what they did to you. You can do whatever you want— and it all depends on how you answer this question..." He clasped his hands together. "Do you want to have a family?"
Jae-yeo clenched her jaw, critically thinking about her decisions. She's not dumb. But she's too prideful to also choose the smartest option. So-eun... Clashing her front teeth, she muttered. "No."
The man's smile faltered. "No?" He let out a small chuckle. Then it became a stifle of fits of giggles. And then a laugh. And before she knew it, the man was laughing hysterically in front of her. Like he's making fun of her. "Did you just hear what I said? Did you just hear what you said?"
Jae-yeo didn't answer. And the laughter had died down.
"Jae-yeo..." His tone dropped, but his smile remained. "You can't survive this place being alone."
"I'm not alone." So-eun...
"Oh?" His eyebrows were raised with genuine amusement. "What's their name?"
Jae-yeo opened her mouth to speak, but the sound of the door prevented her. The teacher from earlier entered and walked up to the man.
"Mr. Woo, the Baekyeon family has chosen their heir."
The man tore his eyes off Jae-yeo and to the woman. "Name?"
"Yang So-eun."
Jae-yeo whipped her head to the teacher, eyebrows furrowed. The man didn't fail to notice that as he began to smirk. He turned his head to the teacher, nodding his head, gesturing for her to get out of the room once more. The woman complied.
"Where were we?" He pretended to ponder. "Ah, back to the question..."
Jae-yeo's eyebrows were furrowed. So-eun? What did she do? Didn't they promise each other not to leave each other? They promised each other not to join any performances so that wouldn't be a chance for them to get picked.
She was full of possible thoughts. None of them were good. And it was visible that she was uneasy, and the man took advantage.
"... Do you want to come with me?"
"So-eun-ah~," Jae-yeo called out sweetly. Too sweet, if you may ask.
"Jae-yeo!" So-eun was still in her ballerina outfit, her eyes wide as they darted to Jae-yeo's. "I have something to tell you—"
"I heard you were getting adopted!" Jae-yeo beamed, her smile as wide as a Cheshire cat, and her eyes sparkled under her will. It was terrifying how real it looked. So-eun even believed it.
"Jae-yeo..." So-eun looked down. "I'm sorry."
Jae-yeo gritted her teeth. She thought So-eun was apologizing because she was going to leave her with the devils. She thought she was apologizing because So-eun took pity in picturing her all alone here. Because she broke their promise.
But no.
So-eun apologized because she thought she was the reason why Jae-yeo was always being punished by the teachers, she apologized because she thought no one wanted to be friends with Jae-yeo because she was friends with her. And leaving this orphanage, So-eun thinks that it would be the best for Jae-yeo.
Jae-yeo sighed and pulled her into a hug. "What are you sorry about?" Her arms tightened around So-eun, enough to let her feel some sort of pain, but not enough for her to notice it. "You're just being practical. You just want to get away from the suffering. You just wanted to have a family. Those are not something you should be sorry about, hm?" She said through spite, disguised in an understanding tone.
Unaware of the suffocating embrace, So-eun hugged back. And Jae-yeo heard a sob from her.
"Don't cry." She brought up her hand and stroked the back of her head. "I'd like you to know... That I got adopted, too."
So-eun gasped and was about to pull away but Jae-yeo pulled her back.
"I'm not going anywhere.
I'm not going to leave."

baek harin x reader
WARNINGS ; TRIGGER WARNING! heavy manipulation, love bombing, possessiveness, gaslighting, physical and emotional abuse, spoilers up to episode 8 of pyramid game

your thoughts ran wild.
harin probably already knew. somehow, she always figured out what you were thinking, as if you were an open book. she could tell your worries and your fears by glancing at you.
you did well. you knew that she would be proud of you, but still...
you shook your head. now wasn't the time to be nervous.
smoke wafted around the baekyeon heiress as you approached her, her eyes drifting in the distance. in her hand, a cigarette, laced with gold and stuffed with toxins that harin always seemed to indulge herself in.
her head tilted towards you, a dull sparkle in her eye.
"so?"
her voice was monotone, carrying out a sense of boredom that she only showed to a few others.
you watched her in all her beauty, the curls of the fog shaping the area around her. the heiress was stunning, and it always took you a couple seconds to reel yourself back to reality.
harin rolled her eyes as she approached you, tapping the side of her smoke as a warning.
instinctively, you straightened, your eyes wide as she smiled.
there was something so addictive about frightening you, something that was true genuine fear laced with an undying loyalty. you were impossible to replicate, a faithful dog waiting by her bedside.
you took a deep breath, inhaling the smoke through your nose. "i got ambushed by jaeun, suji, and them."
"i thought so." another puff of smoke exited her mouth. "did they mention anything?"
anything else?
you bit your tongue, your face ridden with guilt.
you were tired of the game, tired of getting hurt. as much as you yearned for harin's happiness, the exhaustion was getting to you. you just wanted one day to yourself, without eunbyeol and harin breathing down your back.
"no."
harin's eyes hardened, her gaze trained on you like a hawk. her pupils took in the sight; your quivering mouth, your avoidant stare...
she smiled.
"why don't i believe you?" harin clicked her tongue, pointing the end of her smoke near your cheek. "is it because you're lying to me?"
she knew. how did she know?
"no, i just..."
("join us.")

you never questioned why class 1-5 were in the middle of nowhere.
the building was nice, decorated with marble columns and sleek white paint. the washrooms were clean, close by, and rarely messy except for the occasional tissue lying on the ground.
it felt as if you were purposely isolated, the twenty-four other girls in your class being the only ones in reach.
sometimes, you even forgot other classes existed.
"harin's a fucking bitch."
you paused. kim dayeon?
a girl like her wouldn't be caught dead in the library. there was no reason for her to be here, much less talk shit about the heiress of the entire school.
you kept your mouth shut as your thoughts wandered to the girl in question.
baek harin.
pretty, intelligent, soft-spoken. from what you've seen, all those things were right. you were always too shy to approach her, your thoughts clouded by the beauty that she held. from what you heard from others, she was the embodiment of niceness, going out of her way to lend others money with nothing in return (yet).
why would dayeon even say these things about her?
"god, you think she's all high and mighty." dayeon muttered, her feet shuffling as she paced back and forth. "that psycho probably wants us to worship the ground she walks on."
psycho? baek harin wasn't a psycho.
"a hierarchy game?" dayeon could already see it in her head. she had no choice but to agree at that moment, wanting to spare herself from her father later that day, but when harin had mentioned it... "is she demented?"
"pyramid game, dayeon." seo doah. that made sense as to why dayeon was here. "if you're gonna insult it, at least name it properly."
"shut it."
"you might also wanna check if anyone else is in the library." your throat ran dry as doah stood up, staring at you across the room. "right, y/n?"
you shot up, your eyes wide as dayeon stared at you. there was something in her eyes that was unfamiliar.
fear? what was she scared of? surely, it wasn't harin.
"um..."
"fuck." your eyes widened at her words. never in your life would you have thought that the eccentric kim dayeon would swear like a sailor. "don't you dare say shit, you understand me?"
you shook your head, your body stiff. "i won't-"
"you don't know what the fuck is at risk here." dayeon's anger roared throughout the library, her fist shaking. dayeon wouldn't hit you... right? "open your mouth and i'll stitch it shut."
you nodded, trembling as you packed your things to leave.
"jeez, dayeon..." doah shook her head.
you stood up, your bag half open, and your textbooks barely inside. in your arms, you gathered everything that you could, arms shaking as you rushed out the room.
a spark of fear lighted up inside you when you saw daeyeon fingernails imbed themselves into the soft skin of her palm. the crescents swelled a bright red, and you knew that she wasn't joking.
she was gonna hurt you. was she gonna hurt harin as well?
you needed to get out of here, maybe even tell harin how insane and dangerous her friend seemed.
how was that even possible? how could someone like dayeon hold a rage inside themselves like that? you could understand it from that suck up, wooyi, but dayeon?
you stumbled slightly as you turned the corner, the books nearly falling out of your bag as you collided with someone. a strong, sculpted hand grabbed your elbow, electricity shooting up your arm.
that feeling...
"is something wrong?"
her breath smelt faintly of nicotine, her perfume - one you assumed cost at least a couple hundred dollars - blocking the scent enough to not register in your brain.
you bit your tongue. "no..."
"you can tell me, y/n-ah." your heart leaped at her words, a cloud of affection and care seemingly coating them. "i don't bite."
harin's smile seemed so soft and elegant, like the status she so desperately upheld. her eyes gleamed gently (and if you looked any closer, void of life) as her cheeks dusted in a costly blush.
don't snitch. you thought as her worried gaze peered into your soul. why should i protect dayeon?
you bit your tongue, your chest bursting with guilt at the thought of dayeon laying a finger on the heiress in front of you.
"dayeon..." you whisper as an eyebrow on her pretty face raised. "she, um, she might hurt you."
you waited for harin's face to shift into worry, into fear, into a normal reaction. you waited for her lips to part and ask 'why?', to ponder what your words truly meant.
instead, she laughed, as if the thought of dayeon hurting her was a part of some greco-roman comedy and not a tragedy.
harin let go of your arm, moving your hair out of your face as your eyebrows furrowed.
"so i'm guess you heard about my game as well?"
you nod. you had forgotten that those threats had stemmed from some game dayeon had mentioned.
a hierarchy game... a pyramid game.
"what do you think about it?" harin's eyes shone in a playful demeanor, full of curiosity and excitement. you couldn't fathom why or how she wasn't worried. "doesn't it sound fun?"
the air shifted around you as her irises seemed to blacken. a heavy burden settled on your chest as she face twitched into a smile, and you felt compelled - forced - to agree.
"it does," you chuckled awkwardly. "i guess."
a soft hum escaped her mouth, her eyes glancing at your face, taking in the fear that had shifted from dayeon to her. behind your eyes, she saw something... something exciting.
the heiress smiled.
"i hope you're in 'a' with me." you had no idea what she meant, but the thought of being near baek harin made the room spin. "it'll be lonely without you."
she stepped beside you, a gentle touch on your shoulder. her breath wafted close to your ear as she spoke with a stiff voice, one you wouldn't recognize as harin's.
"thanks for the heads up about dayeon." you shivered, a cool line shooting up your spine. "i'll deal with her."
she walked away as a deep pit in your stomach emerged.
deal with her?
you gripped your books tighter as you listened to the fading footsteps, and the soft "hello, can i speak to mr. kim? it's harin." in the distance.
you didn't know why, but somehow, you made the wrong decision.

you were never scared of blood.
it was a liquid that flowed inside you and every person's body, just like how water seeped from the sky and into the ground. blood was a natural process, nothing more and nothing less.
but when you saw that knife, drenched from your classmate's fresh wound...
you shivered at the thought, while harin's soft hands fiddled with a strand of your hair.
"do you feel bad for her?" harin's smile never disappeared, not since the game started. it didn't disappear when crimson dripped onto the floor, either. "woori?"
her lifeless eyes bore into yours, jolts of electricity and fire rising throughout your fingertips and cheeks. her hand, close enough to feel your breath, paused as the rest of harin's body stilled.
all of her stopped, as if so curious about your thoughts that each cell of hers had to still.
"you can be honest." her breath laced in nicotine once more, her perfume no longer covering the overwhelming scent. "i wanna know."
woori was an 'f'.
being an 'a' yourself, you had the right to torture her, to manipulate and ridicule her.
you never did, leaving it up to dayeon to do whatever she pleased with her. part of you still felt bad for what happened earlier in the year, and each time you blinked, you remembered the heavy-handed bruises left on dayeon's face the day after you had told harin about the library incident.
you understood woori, though. the mental toll it must've taken, being bullied throughout the day, months on end without another student looking your way. telling the teachers only resulted in a beating at best, and at worst...
your eyes clenched tightly as your brain replayed that video.
"a little..."
harin chuckled, pulling her hand away and fishing out a cigarette.
"you saw her cut jaeun up." harin muttered through her smoke, her delicate fingers wrapped around the golden band.
you remember the marble on the classroom floor stained red in a way that you didn't think it would.
blood wasn't scary. fear was.
"i did."
"and you still feel bad." harin inhaled, smoke leaving her nostrils as she looked you up and down. "interesting..."
as of late, harin had been smoking around you more and more often. whether it be behind the shed or simply just the two of you in the library, clouds of smoke seemed to follow her, and in turn, you.
the first time it had happened, you had coughed violently, taken off guard as the heiress smiled. your tears were exciting to her, much like your overwhelming sense of loyalty clashing with your morality.
she had never met anyone who was so inwardly conflicted.
"did she really drop out, harin-ah?"
harin blinked, standing up from her chair as she snubbed the end of her cig on some random book cover in front of her. she threw the smoke onto the floor, grinding it with her heel. her eyes were cold, and dark, and you knew that you had messed up again.
you didn't cough this time around. she had no reason to be mad.
the heiress gathered her belongings, sparing not a single glance your way.
"y/n?"
your heart skipped a beat.
"yeah?"
"my name's harin." she glanced at you, unamused. "don't call me that again."

seong suji.
the girl was nice, a little naive to the happenings of class 2-5. you could tell from a mile away that the girl wanted to stay low and let time pass its course, but you knew better than anyone that she had a target on her back.
everyone's attention had been on her from the moment whispers spread about a new girl transferring into the class. the moment she stepped into the room, you watched as harin's eyes lit up, and a fire blazed inside you.
you didn't know whether it was guilt or jealousy.
"are you stupid?" harin clenched her teeth as she hovered over you, her eyes hardening like coals under pressure. "telling the new girl about my game?"
suji didn't hear the predators hiding in the tall grass. she didn't see their eyes, nor did she notice their bloodlust-filled gazes, but she felt it, and there were only two people in her mind who seemed to lack the barbarity that lingered in the empty halls of the complex.
"look at me!"
your eyes snapped to harin's, anger exuding from her lips as puffs of smoke filled the air and ashes fell onto the ground.
you winced.
"harin..." you had never seen this side of her, not directed at you. you had always watched from the distance as opposed to being the target. "i just thought-"
"did you?" harin's lips curled in a way that could only be described as disbelief, your utter incompetence boggling her mind. "or are you just as stupid as your dropout brother?"
you winced, the low blow winding your self-esteem.
"she looked confused." you tried your best to reason with an iron wall. "i didn't want her to feel like-"
harin's eyes widened, and her usual curiosity morphed into an unfiltered rage.
"like who? woori? jaeun?" she exhaled another cloud, your face getting covered in smoke as you struggled to breath. "you're so fucking stupid."
you felt the heiress lean closer, the tip of the cigarette centimeters away from your cheek.
"i'm sorry."
"you're sorry?" harin could feel her blood boiling. everything was ruined. "i had a plan. you ruined it for me. you ruined my game, y/n."
you closed your eyes, trying to drown out the sharp words and the blanket of burden that harin enveloped you with.
you just wished harin would go back to being curious and playful, and leave you ignorant to the fact that deep down, she was the monster dayeon had implied many months ago.
with a weak voice, you tried to reason. "i didn't mean to..."
"you didn't-" harin backed away, ripping the smoke from her lips and into her fingertips. "give me your hand."
your eyes widened.
"harin-"
she grabbed your wrist with a surprising amount of strength. her nails dug into your arm, your teeth grinding together at the dull pain. the heat of the cigarette hovered over your palm as you struggled to pull back, and you couldn't help but choke out a strangled gasp.
"harin, wait-"
the smell of flesh burning invaded your senses as your arm shook from the pain. lightning seemed to replace your veins, as a fire replaced your blood. your vision fuzzed, the tears in your eyes falling down your chin.
harin glanced at you, a small smile replacing her grimace. you were always so pretty when you were in pain.
"remember this." she threw her smoke onto the ground, her grip on your wrist tightening. "you mess with my game, you upset me. you don't want that to happen again, do you?"
the last thing you wanted was to see harin frown in your direction.
"no."
harin smiled, glancing at how your lips quivered and how your eyes held an intoxicating mixture of fear and want. quietly, she wiped a tear with her free hand, chuckling as you flinched at her touch.
"then stay away from seong suji." she leaned in, her voice soft except for the threatening undertone. "if i see you even look at her without my permission, i'll make your life hell."
her grip loosened, harin's eyes softening as she looked at you with what seemed to be worry and understanding.
"i..." you blinked, agreeing like an obedient dog. even now, you couldn't help but wonder which harin was the real harin, but all you knew was that you didn't want to disappoint her. "i understand."
harin sighed, glancing at the burn in your hand with contempt. "i don't like doing this to you."
you paused, your face brightening as the smell of tobacco stuck to your blazer.
"you don't?"
harin smiled. it was like catching a mouse in a well placed trap. you were predictable and easy to please. a couple right words and you'd be under her spell all over again.
"you think i do?" the heiress frowned, biting her tongue.
she loved it.
"no..."
with a giggle, she took your wrist, much more gently than before.
"let's get you patched up."

harin liked putting on lipgloss around you.
she liked the way your eyes darted to her mouth for a split second before they looked anywhere else in the room. the redness of your cheeks delighted her in the sense that she knew that no matter what, you'd be stuck under her thumb.
you were her stupid, little puppet. your strings strong and unwavering, and your heart tainted with a loved one that you thought she didn't see.
it was adorable, like a puppy chasing its own tail, or a whale, no longer strong enough to go up for air.
harin liked to send you on mindless errands.
it was a good way to keep you in check, much better than instilling fear. she could sense that someone like you liked to feel needed, even if it's something as simple as fetching her more of her favorite brand of smokes or picking up items that she used for bribery.
it gave her a good laugh when you would come back, beaming as if you accomplished something when in reality, one of her maids could have easily done the same.
you were none the wiser, currently on your way to getting her more coffee (well, to get doah coffee per harin's demand).
you were just about to leave the campus, but a strong yet gentle hand yanked you aside, dragging you out of sight from the windows of the complex.
"sorry, y/n-ah."
you tried to shake her off, but she was too strong.
"jaeun, let go." why was she doing this? more importantly, why was she taking you to the nearby convenience store. "i can't be talking to you. you know that."
jaeun stopped, and you thought that she had finally gotten tired of you complaining so much. instead, you looked at the scene in front of you, two girls sitting in the shade of a foldable umbrella.
harin was gonna burn you alive.
"harin's pet?" jaehyeong shook her head, staring at the taller girl beside you. "jaeun-ie, are you sick? do you have a fever?"
you frowned. you weren't 'harin's pet'. so what if you liked being around her?
"she's nice." jaeun muttered, ushering you to the other girls. you tried to turn away, but she moved you in such a way that you couldn't escape. "she helped suji out."
"that was a mistake."
suji raised an eyebrow. she didn't know what was wrong with you. how could someone change so much in a matter of two months?
her eyes wandered your figure, stopping at the burns that littered your right hand.
oh. that makes sense.
"hey, y/n-ah."
"yerim?" you turned around, your jaw hanging open as the trainee sat with the girls, sipping on a can of coffee. you glanced at her phone, watching as she scrolled through eunjeong's instagram. "what the hell is going on?"
you looked around, their eyes glancing at suji with hesitation.
"you're not gonna convince her, suji." yerim shook her head.
being in rank 'a' herself, she knew firsthand how you followed every word harin said. she could tell from a mile away what it was, yerim herself victim to the feeling with a certain swimmer.
but there was a difference between the two of you, one that could prove to be detrimental.
you needed someone to follow, while she didn't.
"i can." suji glanced at your hand again. "i know i can."
"convince me?"
you felt a lump in your throat, praying that somehow, in some way, harin would come barging in and save you from whatever was going on here.
you took a deep breath, and sensing danger was near, gripped your wrist for safety.
jaeun frowned.
"i was serious about bringing down the game, y/n."
the pyramid game.
that stupid game that harin focused all her energy into, hellbent on keeping the perfect hierarchy intact. the one where you watched your classmates get beaten to a pulp, bloody and broken to the point of mental disarray.
you had never spoken it out loud, but you were tired of it, watching everyone you know either do the hurting or get hurt (most times both).
but this was harin's game, and you'd rather hurt yourself than upset the girl you loved.
"harin'll be pissed."
yerim chuckled, a knowing smile on her face. she didn't expect anything less from you.
"aren't you?" suji glanced at your hand, one you held for dear life, as if you were afraid it would get burned again. "after everything you've done for her, she still burns you."
you frowned.
harin did it with good reason. she needed to keep you in line, to keep you from lashing out. she did this to you because, unlike wooyi or dayeon, she trusted you enough to understand.
harin did it out of the pureness of her heart.
"that was an accident."
"an accident?" suji could feel your doubt starting to seep through. that was enough for her, to see the light beyond the cracks of your love. "hurting you multiple times the same way was an accident?"
was it an accident? it had to be, otherwise, harin was just hurting you to hurt you.
you shook the thought out of your head, missing the way the girls looked at each other, satisfied.
"what do you want, seong suji?"
there was a beat in the air.
"join us."

she knew. how did she know?
"no, i just..."
you liked harin, even when she suffocated you with her smoke, staining your white shirt with the ash of her cigarettes. her eyes wandered yours routinely, and it felt as if she was trying to dig deep as if she needed you.
"i figured out a way to get to them."
harin's eyes sparkled. she would have never thought that you, docile and timid, would ever think of something other than her and school.
it was... exhilarating.
"sim eunjeong." you rattled out a breath, your eyes clenching at the very thought of what you were doing. "yerim... likes her more than we think."
the heiress laughed, the excitement in her chest bursting at the thought of you ignoring your morals just to please her and only her.
she leaned close to you, her face in front of yours as she moved a single lock of hair behind your ear. shivers ran up your spine.
"do you feel bad, y/n-ah?" harin hadn't felt this happy in a while. "ratting them out to me must be so heavy on your consciousness."
she looked you up and down, your eyes avoiding hers. your cheeks were tinged in red, and the guilt written all over your face didn't help the giddiness that was starting to overtake her.
"you're fun, y/n."
you'd do anything for her, even when she hurt you. even when everyone screamed and yelled at you to leave, ignoring the bright red stop signs.
"i like you."

out of reach ft. baek harin x gn!reader 2.1k words warnings: nervous breakdown, implied manipulation and bullying, reader nd harin are Slightly toxic, smoking, not really proofread Sorry!
author’s note: finally watched pyramid game! harin is so dear to me i love her. anyways here’s this
Clouds of smoke and overpriced cigarettes. The faint smell of perfume, struggling to cover the overwhelming, biting scent of tobacco. The sound of a lighter clicking shut, and a disdainful laugh. Condescending. The very image of a typical rich, high-school bully.
Then she sighs, softly, and it all changes.
The smoke dissipates to reveal a gentler expression (though the void in her eyes cannot be hidden), and the cigarette smell seems to leave with the passing breeze. She smiles softly and relaxes her shoulders. “I’m expecting great things from you.” she says, hiding a don’t you dare disappoint in between her words. She chuckles quietly to herself and turns on her heel. The school princess.
“Let’s go.” she says, her tone on the edge of something hurried. Like her facade, though perfectly constructed and practiced, might threaten to break if she stays any longer. You don’t reply but push yourself off of the wall to walk at her side when she strolls past where you were waiting.
The moment you’re far away enough from that hidden corner by the school entrance, Harin tenses again. You look down and see her thumb pressing its nail into her palm’s skin. Into flesh, at this rate. “Harin.” you call. She blinks out of her thoughts and turns her gaze to you. “What is it?”
“I’m thinking.” she replies honestly, bits of that kind demeanor slowly crumbling to reveal a more honest, yet possibly less furious side to her. One you’re more acquainted with.
“You do that too much.” you heave a deep sigh, “Seriously. Have you had a moment to breathe at all this week?”
Baek Harin is calculating. Always calculating each of her moves— Every interaction with all of her classmates, her family, her past present and future, the adults at her school. She carefully reviews the way she presents herself down to the detail. And now, she calculates everything Seong Suji does, everyone she interacts with, everyone around her, everything she does truthfully and all she does that seems fake— add more to the list.
That’s just a recipe for disaster. But you’ve also known her for long enough to know that having a calm mind free of worries and overthinking is a privilege Harin hasn’t had since her early childhood years. The way she functions now is her own idea of normal, and it has been for much too long to even consider the idea of changing. So you don’t try to change it. But you try to calm her down, when she allows you to attempt it.
“I’m breathing fine.” she scoffs slightly, “I can’t afford not to think. Especially not…” she trails off like she’s remembered something, and you frown.
She reaches for her pillbox but it escapes her grasp, falling on the concrete. You reach over to grab it but she’s quicker than you. The moment the thing is in her hand, she opens it and shakes three vitamin tabs into her palm, before freezing in place.
You slow down and stop in your tracks, barely a meter back, then slowly approach her. Her eyes are flitting between the box and the pills themselves, her lip trembling as if struggling to get a word out. You start reaching out towards her but she suddenly throws all of the vitamins back into their little chamber. She clicks the pillbox close and puts it back into her pocket, then fumbles to get something else.
“Harin.”
She finally manages to find what she was seemingly so desperate to find, and opens the pack of cigarettes. She grabs one and shakily sets it between her lips, before repeating the whole searching process for her lighter.
“Harin.”
Once the golden thing’s in her hand, she clicks to light up a flame, once, twice, three times, to no avail. You swear her hand is beginning to shake.
“Baek Harin!”
“Fuck.”
She spits the cigarette to the ground and nearly crushes the rest of the pack in her hand. Her teeth bite into her lip to stifle a scream of frustration, you guess, and she goes back to digging her nails into the flesh of her hand.
You slowly set a hand on her shoulder and she lets you, though she does look much too lost in her own head to register anything other than the ground she’s been blankly staring at. “…Let’s go home.” you say, tone softer.
She nods in agreement.
Baek Harin’s definition of a home has changed several times over the years. Haneul Orphanage, the house of the family she was adopted into, and yet neither ever truly gave her the feeling that it was what home was supposed to feel like. She isn’t relieved when she steps foot into her house, she just feels more at ease to continue preparing her so-called schemes. Still, it is a house, her family lives there, and she never lacked anything. It’s a fine place to be.
But when she’s here, in comparison…
“I’m home.” you sigh as you take off your shoes. Harin sees your cat walk past the entrance hallway and stop to look at you, clearly waiting for something. And when you look at it, you smile and go pet it. It’s just that easy for them to get what they want in life, huh? She feels your gaze on her and looks at you.
“What?”
“Are you planning to stay at the door?”
She blinks. Right. She unclasps her shoes and slides them off her feet before she steps inside. She barely notices she’s breathing out a sigh of relief before a wave of exhaustion hits her. It makes her wonder for a moment if she was right to take the pillbox earlier. Maybe she forgot to take them during the day? She had so much to do. Did she? If she’s forgetful about this, she could be about much more important things….
She’s reminded of her near-breakdown just earlier and holds back from picking at her nails. She rarely reaches the brink of losing it this badly. She really needs to do something about the direction the game is going towards, or else she fears she might break at the wrong time.
“Harin.” you call, bringing her out of her thoughts, and she realizes you already walked to your kitchen, and you’re peeking at the corner of the wall to see her. “Do you want something?”
She stares at you a bit coldly, almost frowning. It’s clear she’s not entirely out of her own head, yet.
“Cola.” she says, “Do you have any?”
You scoff. “When do I not?”
She takes off her small backpack and walks further inside. This small place… She would dislike it. She’s not one to be picky, but growing up in a luxury house for nearly ten years makes you dislike cramped spaces. At least she does. But she’s used to this apartment having you in it, and many times in the past, her, whenever she needed a place to go to that wasn’t her own house.
Sometimes she thinks maybe she isn’t grateful enough to have you. Sometimes.
“My game feels like it’s falling apart.” she sighs, walking into the living room. She plops down on the couch, tossing her bag aside and taking out her phone. “This girl is actively trying to ruin all of it.”
“Seong Suji?” you ask from the kitchen. There’s a hint of something in your voice that she hasn’t heard before. It’s sour and new.
She wants to hear it again.
“Yes. Seong Suji…” she trails off, “I swear even having 24/7 cameras on her wouldn’t help me stop her from doing all this.” she scoffs.
You hum in response, then it grows quiet. Harin feels a smile pull at her lips. She can practically see how much thoughts this small conversation provoked in your mind. Seong Suji? Is she the problem? She is. But is she in this case, too?
She’s curious.
“Still, I guess she’s a bit cute. Interesting, too. I’ve never had anyone stand up to me this much before.”
“Yeah?” you answer blankly, joining her. You set down the two glasses of cola on the coffee table just harshly enough for it to cause an audible clang. “Maybe because you're so used to having everyone bow to you and your every requests?”
“You don’t.”
“Don’t I?”
“You sound bitter.” Harin laughs, setting down her phone on her lap and propping up her elbow on the armrest. She sets her index under her chin and looks at you as you rummage through your backpack. The glimpse she gets of your face confirms you indeed seem unnerved about something. Cute… No, this is more than cute.
“I’m not.” you sigh, visibly straightening up. Your face relaxes and you glance towards her. “What’s with the staring?”
“Nothing. You’re nice to look at.”
You roll your eyes and grab your laptop from your bag and set it down on the table. Her eyes move to focus on it and she furrows her eyebrows. She didn’t know you still carried it around. She had to buy you one when it fell and the screen cracked, before. Irresponsible… Not that she minds buying for you. Not that you ask, either.
“Info on her friends. From other schools, I mean.”
Harin blinks, registering what you mean. “On Suji?” she mutters, eyes narrowing at the laptop. She tilts her head towards you with a small pout. “I never asked you that, did I?” she chuckles a little, leaning over to grab her glass.
This could be useful, but this doesn’t work.
You shake your head slightly. “Didn't.”
“So you’re just playing assistant, are you?” she huffs, “Thanks… But don’t do it again.”
You frown. “Why?”
“I don’t want you to get involved. You don’t even attend my school. It’ll only be trouble.”
— Besides, she doesn’t want you to be associated with this game and place as a whole more than needed. Just having you near the school is enough to make her stomach hurt. She has to have you be away from it all, at least. If not, she’ll feel like she’s still in it even when she’s with you. Then she won’t be able to sigh in relief once she steps inside your place anymore.
“Wouldn’t be the first time I get in trouble for you.”
“Mhm.” she laughs as she drinks, then turns to look at you once she’s done. The emotion leaves her face. “Don’t do it again.” she repeats, tone laced with hints of a threat. She means it.
“That doesn’t work on me, Harin.”
You stare at her and she doesn’t feel like looking away, either. You’re stubborn. She’s worse. This isn’t gonna end, and if it does, you might argue. She doesn’t feel like arguing.
“Do you like me?“ she decides to ask, just to throw you off a little.
“Are you insane?” you bite back, not missing a beat. Her smile deepens. She blinks away and leans back into the couch, sipping on her drink more.
“Not really.”
“False.”
“That’s rude?” she laughs, looking at you again. You raise your eyebrows and smile slightly, leaning to grab your glass.
“Too bad.” you say, before sipping on the cola. It’s a bit nostalgic. Drinking cola under dim lights when it feels like the world is only you two. This happened before, when she felt like her family’s very presence was suffocating, and locking herself in her room wasn’t enough— Or much earlier, when you were just kids, and you’d buy each other cola flavored popsicles. This kind of comfort makes her want more. She almost forgets about the game, for a moment.
The sour air in your voice and on your features seems to be gone now, so she figures the atmosphere is just as calming for you. Though she did enjoy seeing that look on your face… Your genuine, soft smile is one she enjoys a little bit more.
Now that she’s getting comfortable here, she doesn’t want to leave. She’ll take all the time she can get. She knows you don’t mind her staying. You may be above the rest when it comes to telling her off and not doing everything she asks, but you’re not above allowing nearly anything that helps her. And if letting her stay here, at the cost of possibly getting a death glare from her family members and irritating questions about any trouble she could’ve possibly caused for you, can help her?
Then she knows you wouldn’t refuse. Even if you pretend you could. She knows how important she is to you.
“I’m staying the night.”
“When did I say you could?”
“You didn’t have to.” she hums, reaching over to move strands of your hair away from your face. She smiles. “I know I can.”

celebrating Halloween with pyramid game characters😈(things like dressing up or getting matching costumes but more specifically what would they dress up as or what matching costumes would they want)
OMG AND ALSO WHERE THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO AND STUFF like would they want to go trick or treating or to a haunted house
-🎀
Omg darling-
I'm so sorry, it took me so long to write it that Halloween actually came-
Okay so as for Suji I think she wouldn't really care about Halloween at all at first until she sees you getting actually excited about it. Then she will start putting thought into it. I see her as totally gave in to whatever you want to do, she just doesn't care what she wants and just goes where you want to and dresses up as you want her to (Be it her own costume or matching with yours but she would love matching costumes, she just wouldn't show it much). A lot of you may not agree with me but Suji as Aladdin and you as Jasmine (The thought appeared in my dream 3 days ago and stayed locked in)
I can also see Harin as not being bothered by Halloween type because girlie has other things to worry about, you know like completely terrorizing the whole class just to get revenge on one girl because of a grudge since they were children (While being hot doing that) so just like Suji, she will only care about it when she notices you being excited for it. She will still not care though, will only participate to make you happy. I can't see her wearing couple outfits with you like I'm sorry, she will even protest in wearing a costume at all. Will be very keen on making you dress up for her though, only for her eyes too since she will want to spend it alone with you in her room watching movies.
Jaeun is a little pookie so of course she wants to spend it with you. It would take her time to ask if you're interested though since she's normally not that sociable and even talking with her girlfriend freaks her out because she thinks you're so beautiful and great and incredible and god girlie is in DEEP. Probably won't do matching costumes or costumes at all because she will feel embarrassed, she may do it if you ask her enough. Probably just wants to do what you want instead of giving ideas. Just a puppy following what you want.
Yerim immediately has an idea that you two ARE doing Halloween matching costumes with her and spend your time with her then so you actually have no say in it because when she wants to spend time with you, she WILL make it happen. Imagine her wearing Little Red Riding Hood costume and making you a Big Bad Wolf just to make fun of you for being a wolf. Of course her making fun of you is full of love. But really guys, her as a Red Riding Hood-
Jaehyung will automatically choose you a costume and everything for Halloween because you are going with her. She needs to show off her girlfriend after all. Listen because I have a vision, Jaehyung as a Vampire. For some reason the image is big in my head like her teeth and blood streaming down her face as she looks for her victims. Automatically that makes you as a Vampire Hunter because in her words "She wants to see you to try and get her". Absolutely terrifying force to be with during holidays like that but she makes up for that with her enthusiasm and love I guess 😅
Eunjung will probably act all cool and nonchalant but will want to spend Halloween with you deep inside her heart. So when you propose the idea she accepts immediately. She left you in charge of the costumes and that's how the two of you became Lifeguard and surfer. Honestly took you a while to convince her that you didn't make her a lifeguard because you find the idea attractive... maybe a little but shush. To be fair it will end with you spending the time indoors because she didn't want anyone to see you looking so good in your costume.
There's only one right answer for costumes for you and Doah. Sherlock Holmes and Watson obviously. At first she would be against dressing up for the day, but you managed to convince her and she actually ends up having fun. You drag her to a party with friends and just help her forget about her responsibilities for one day so she actually can enjoy free time.
Someone once told me that Dayeon would fit Bonnie and Clyde costume concept and it was on my mind ever since. Dayeon would follow wherever you wanted to go and spend time doing something but would glare at anyone eyeing you up. Her arm would be wrapped around your shoulders at all times to make sure everyone gets the message. Honestly I feel like she wouldn't last long out partying with you before dragging you back to her house.
Wooyi was probably the most excited about Halloween because of an idea of matching costumes. She would have a lot of ideas but it would end up with a classic Devil and Angel with her wearing the Devil costume and you being an Angel. She only chose Devil because she thought she looked incredible in it which was true. Wooyi would probably drag you everywhere where people were partying and would spend time there until late night. Later would oh so not sneakily make you ask her to spend the night at your house.

Crazy for You
Baek Harin x Reader Fic.
Sypnosis: Desperate for Harin's attention, you tried to make her jealous that somehow ended good and bad?
Warnings: Kidnapping, Yandere!Harin, fluff at the end! (Part 1, you can read this or skip it.)
Requested by: @churim

You’ve been trying your best to avoid Suji, ever since Harin confessed her feelings for you.
However, Harin has still left you on your own. Who knows where she is. It made your stomach upset because of the anxiety you’re feeling.
Maybe she was toying with you? Maybe she lost interest and got bored? Who knows. Your mind is clouded with doubts.
With nowhere to go, you decided to seek help from Suji. Maybe Harin will come out if you talk to Suji?
“Hey, Suji-ah.” You waved to her. You were nervous because you ghosted her after talking with Harin. Suji is cold hearted to be honest and you expected her to ignore you.
“I don’t want to hear your excuses, Y/N.” Suji said as she walked away from you
Harin is totally ignoring you. You tried to approach her but then Wooyi got in the way and pushed you then told you to “stay away”. She didn’t even look at your way even if you fell after Wooyi pushed you. She was overprotective over you before.
You don’t get it.
Last week, Harin just confessed her love and now she’s acting cold towards you now?
There’s nothing else you can do but follow and try to gain Suji’s trust; you failed miserably.
In the end, you felt helpless.
As you were laying in bed late at night, you realized that you got played because Harin knows you’re totally whipped at her with everything she does. You were regretting so bad for betraying Suji, and so disappointed that you fell for Harin’s sick manipulation.
An idea went to your head as you were laying in bed. What if you make Harin jealous on purpose? Maybe she’ll come out or if she didn’t care at all then it’s time to give.
You quickly jumped out of your bed and wrote a "love letter" for Suji.
Harin is glaring at you because you bump into her, purposely.
“Sorry.” was all you said with no feelings at all before walking away from her, but in your mind, you were high fiving yourself because of your plan. When you bump into her, you let your love letter for Suji fall.
The love letter only contains about how you regretted liking Harin and that you truly wish that you were dating Suji instead.
That will do the work! You thought to yourself.
When you were out of sight, Harin picked up the paper that fell from you.
It has a kiss mark? Harin thought to herself.
Harin thought it must be for her not until she read the contents. She was fuming with rage, what was that she read about? You like Suji and not her? You regretted kissing her?
Oh boy, she felt like she could hurt someone on the spot.
You were walking with Suji after school. Suji felt tired of telling you to go away because of your pessimistic manner. You don’t even want to talk to Suji at that time. You were just kind of wishing that Harin was watching you being all over to Suji.
“Forgive me already, Suji-ah!” You said while hugging Suji’s arm.
Suddenly, a black van stopped in front of both of you, and it opened. It opened! Four men crowded over the two of you and put a sack over your heads.
You tried to shout, but the unknown man put his hand over your mouth, in which you struggled to breathe. You felt like you were going to pass out from the restriction of air and the feeling of fear you have right now.
Why did you decide to go home late with Suji? You should have gone home right away after the bell rang! You were regretting everything. You felt Suji being thrown out after the van was driven away.
It’s getting harder to breathe, you’re hyperventilating because of all the things that are happening. With that you passed out.
When you woke up, you were tied in a chair. Your arms and feet are sore from the tight rope that is against your skin.
The room was dark, you were so, so scared. A shadow suddenly appeared.
“Mhhm!” You struggled against the cloth on your mouth. You were hoping that person would help you.
“Tsk.” was all you heard from that shadow, it sounds like it’s a feminine voice.
“Do you really like Suji?” Harin opened the light and it revealed her as the perpetrator of all these happenings.
You were shocked; can’t even move anymore. She was holding a knife, you really are so scared right now.
Harin walked towards you, with a knife in her hands. She removed the cloth that is blocking you from talking.
“Speak.” Harin demanded.
“I– I don’t!” You said before bursting into tears. You were so scared of her, you didn’t know that Harin is capable of this, she is crazy.
She’s crazy for you.
“Then what’s this paper about, hmm?” Harin waved the paper on your face, with the lipstick mark you left on and you can still smell your perfume that you sprayed on the paper.
“Harin, will you believe?” Your mouth was quivering from fear.
“Tell me!” Harin shouted, it echoed throughout the room. You startled from it, you’re regretting everything.
“I w–was trying to make you jealous. Y–ou left me on my own, I thought you didn’t like me anymore.” You managed to say with sobs in between them.
“I’m sorry, Harin, I like you. I do!” You said as you were crying really hard this time.
Harin’s gaze softens after hearing your explanation, but that isn’t enough to trust you again. She felt like you betrayed her.
“I was upset, I don’t want to be far away from you again!” You added. You felt like this was your last day. You should have eaten that burger you’ve been craving.
Unexpectedly, Harin lost the grip on her knife and it fell. She also fell, crying.
As she was crying, she held onto your clothes. She was hugging you too. It lasted about a few minutes before she regained her composure.
She picked up the knife again and this time, she freed you from being tied. When you stood up, Harin hugged you suddenly. You embraced her hug and rested your head on her shoulders, you felt tired.
“I’m sorry for everything, I freaked out.” Harin mumbled. She felt peaceful when you hugged her back.
As you can see, Harin isn’t good at expressing her feelings. She instantly lost it when she read your love letter for Suji and she felt like something needed to be done. She thought that if she kidnapped you; you could be forever hers.
That night, Harin explained to you everything. She told you that she was really scared of being in a relationship because she has trust issues that’s why she was ignoring you.
“I only have my eyes on you, Harin.” You reassured her.
You went home with her. She cared for the bruises formed on your wrists, she bathed you, and cuddled you on your bed.
“Don’t leave me again.” You said as you looked at her eyes. The room was dimmed, the source you only have is the moonlight and it shines right through Harin’s face.
“I’ll try to break my walls down for you, Y/N.” Her eyes were glistening. She’s so pretty but crazy.
I'll write a Doah x Reader soon! Hope you guys like it^^
Also, I think I can only write a bottom reader, but I'll try my best to write a top!reader.
Send request guys, hehe.

I will be waiting, stalking, CREEPING, LURKING to be there the second u write it 😔
what if baek harin x reader where harin actually is so hellbent in keeping the pyramid game bcs its what reader wants 😩😩 like harin and reader were together in the orphanage, both got adopted by rich families, and reader is considered as the most special person to harin bcs reader's the one who stayed on harin's side when harin was being bullied and defended her plus !! helps harin cope with her religious trauma and everything she went through so harin promised reader she'd give her everything so when reader asked for the pyramid game, harin so willingly obliged <33 making this request bcs harin deserves so much more (imo) and bcs psycho x psycho 🔛🔝
my dog getting better so I'm back to writing😼
AND OMG THIS IS SO GOOD. just imagine a reader who has problems with aggression due to the fact that her adoptive parents raise her like “if you’re not good enough, you’re trash, and trash shouldn’t exist”, and the most unworthy in the reader’s opinion are those who crossed harin’s path, therefore she bullying them with the most pleasure. but with harin she is the most sunshine person ever exist. PSYHO X PSYHO JUST TOO GOOD
I'm actually thinking about writing full "series" to this request, cuz one chapter wouldn't be enough. I think I'll write this in chapters and post other requests in between.

“my god!” you cry out, throwing your head back. getting ate out on her mom’s desk was not “ideal” but it worked for now. harin moans at your taste, continuing to suck and slurp on your clit, getting herself addicted. you grab onto her soft hair, giving it a gentle tug. she then thrusts her tongue in and out of your drenched hole. your pussy squelches around her tongue, harin makes eye contact with you while she fucks your pussy with her tongue. “h-harin..!” you moan, your body trembles with each stroke of her tongue.

“you did so good, pup.” she says. “thank you.” you reply, she grabs your underwear and helps you to put them back on. also, guiding you off of the desk that you were sitting on. you grab her hand, leading her out so that the two of you can get back to class. both of you slightly jump upon seeing Doah outside of the door, scratching the back of her neck.
“i was-uh looking for you harin but i see that you two were ..hmm, busy.” she softly muttered and harin laughs, looking at you. “i was just enjoying my..lunch.” harin replied, leaving Doah to walk away with a flushed red face. you and harin walk hand in hand to class, letting everyone know that you two were the ultimate mean girl couple.

𝗣𝗬𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗗 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘'𝗦 𝗅𝗈𝗏𝖾 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝗒𝗈𝗎
𝗌𝗒𝗉𝗇𝗈𝗌𝗂𝗌 how the pyramid game characters show they're undying love for you! as subtle as it may be or as obvious as possible
𝖺/n god this kdrama is SOO good! i know it's a bit new but i got sad at the lack of fics ;(
btw, eunjueng n yerim don't like eachother here (boooo!!)
S𝖴𝖭𝖦 𝖲𝖮𝖮-𝖩𝖨
this main character almost curses herself for falling in love with you! i mean, sure, you're talented, nice.. amazing.. pretty.. but she's trying to destroy the pyramid game! and you're distracting her so much. maybe talking to you and sitting next to you in half of your classes will help, yeah!
she sweats, trying to start any small talk with you. of course, it's not obvious at all. sooji has a talent of acting calm and stuff. when she asks you the time, and you turn on your phone to reveal the time and coincidentally, what song your headphones are playing, she quickly makes a conversation with you about the artist. you quickly become friends.
but like.. it's just for you to join them in defeating the game! at least that's what she tells jaeun.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝖬𝖸𝖤𝖮𝖭𝖦 𝖩𝖠-𝖤𝖴𝖭
ja-eun has always liked you, you were the only reason she kinda.. stayed alive during her continuous years of being grade F. you (mostly) always stayed in grade C but even if you moved into D, or even F, you were always with her. one time, you actually moved into the F grade with her and she won't ever forget how you giggled on the floor with her after getting beat up.
she hated that moment, but loved seeing you giggling over the saddest things, really.
she always admired you a lot, and that special friendship slowly turned into love. she would feel special as you reject your other, more popular, friends to eat with the school's outcast.
you were one of the first people she brought home, and you even called her mom once! though, it hurt when you introduced yourself as her friend. she wanted to be more, so, so badly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝖡𝖠𝖤𝖪 𝖧𝖠-𝖱𝖨𝖭
harin never really.. liked you. you thought, because she would always stare at you with that lifeless, shiver inducing stare. you never really understood why everyone liked her so much because of this.
but it was all wrong, harin liked you a whole lot. but god knows she would rather die than admit that. she's secretly praying for the day you confess your secret love for her, as you ramble how you were too shy to say so because she's so rich and popular and pretty, and then she interrupts you with a kiss and-
"ha-rin! c'mon, let's go to lunch!"
ugh. well, fantasies aside, you were already hers the moment she stared into those beautiful orbs of yours.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝖨𝖬 𝖸𝖤-𝖱𝖨𝖬
this idol trainee has always been head over heels for you since you two met! she found you very interesting to say the least, and having lunch with you and eunjeong has.. made her realize some things. like her sexuality
but she brushes it off, not wanting to ruin the friendship you have. to show her love (in a normal, 100% platonic way) constantly buys you stuff like snacks you seem to enjoy, or gifts you might like. she also invites you on shopping sprees, on "friend dates", or to her house to have a sleepover together! or yours, she wouldn't mind either
just be careful when ogling something you want or even show the minimum interest in when on a hangout with her, because you will find it on your desk the day after. maybe with a letter... a flower or two.. or a dozen..
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
𝖲𝖤𝖮 𝖣𝖮-𝖠𝖧
probably the hardest to catch on to. she's a bit cold and tough to crack but after she realizes the tad crush she has on you, it'll be easier to talk with her. if you're lucky you might even get a moment of her smiling!
she always pressures you to study for finals or midterms, well, exams in general. she video calls you sometimes but like, just to be sure you're doing that project due thursday at first period, not because she wants to see that cute little face of yours- i mean, what?
even after all that pressure from her to study, you don't do it as much as she does, so when the teacher isn't looking you whisper into her ear. "do-ah, what's the answer to number 17?" and while she usually never replies when it's someone else, she can make an excuse for you. "a." she whispers back.
after the exam results, you two walk out of school together, you were going to say farewell but she interrupts you. "hey. you owe me for giving you the answer." do-ah was never the one to do things like that, but you complied. "how about a dat- uh, a hangout at a restaurant o-or the movies?" you smiled. getting close to her, you whisper in her ear. "to a restaurant, ey? hehe, a date it is."

this cutesy girl had the biggest friend crush on you since you met! i mean you were so pretty and kind, who wouldn't wanna be your friend?! she'd try and eat lunch with you everyday, she'd sit next to you whenever she can (in and out of class) and just really tries to spend time with you whenever she can!
as you get more used to her being all over you all the time, you give in and accept being her friend. i mean, it's not like you ignored her but you kinda thought she was weird and stuff. yet now, she's one of your best friends!
she's with you at all times, and you were there for her when baek ha-rin yelled at her and you were there when she didn't have anyone. when you hugged her, and said everything was going to be okay, wiping her tears as you stared into her eyes, she knew you were the one.
the one for her. she smiled. <3

while she's an absolute bitch to everyone else, that changes completely when you're around. she even gets a bit lively, but obviously she's still super mean, in a teasing way!!
she hooks an arm around your shoulder as you two walk together to class, cutting off anyone who wants to try and flirt with you. whenever she's bullying a grade F, just tell her to hangout with you, especially in that tone when she can tell you're sad about her actions, she'll leave them alone immediately.
you're one of the only people she goes to so she can vent and stuff, a lot of times she goes to your house (when your parents aren't around, obviously) and smokes or drinks liquor as she talks about her problems. you're a real comfort for her, well, your presence in general is.
if you ever get into grade F (unlikely, because she has like over half the class threatened to vote for you plus your friends and her), let's say the 'bullying' is a bit different. you guys are just friends, yeah, but she still teases you by saying stuff like how about you give me a kiss?
and well, who are you to reject what a grade A says, right?
