Nutritional Habits
Happy bank holiday monday!
We are back to inspire you to continue or maybe start some healthy habits.
Like we said before meal prep is one of the most beneficial nutritional habits to start. With busy schedule and hectic lifestyles, meal prepping will keep you accountable and nutritionally satisficed.
To start a nutritional habit:
Plan out your weekly meals on a Sunday.
Write out a shopping list and include all the ingredients needed for your meal plans.
Include a variety of Micronutrients and Macronutrients.
Portion size.
Set a side time to prep and cook meals.
Hydrate everyday with 2 Litres of water.
Eating the Rainbow!
The different colours of fruit and veg have different nutritional value. That is why it is so important to include as many as you can to get a variety of vitamins and minerals that support optimum health.
You can do this by alternating your fruit and veg very week.

But to get that healthy relationship with your nutrition you need that 80/20 rule. You need to have flexibility so creating that 80/20 rule you have more of a chance of being successful at maintaining a healthy nutritional habit.
Go on challenge yourself to test out a new recipe that you can meal prep for a few days.
Starting today will help reduce the pressure of cooking for the rest of the week and it's a four day week which makes it that bit easier! Only four meal plans for the working week!

Just a little tip from Delish n Nutrish that buying take aways don't always have to be bad and we all do it, you can go for a healthier option and ask for sauces on the side or even choose the healthier side than fries for example.
