Self Indulgent Saiki Drabble
Tumblr media
Learning to 'tolerate' you
GN!Reader x Saiki Kouso (ignore my spelling)
Warnings: None, but keep in mind reader likes animals in this (what pshyco doesnt? /hj)
Author's Note: We've established that Saiki doesn't really do 'friends', rather, he gets adopted by extroverts (me too bud), so here is self-indulgent headcanons for saiki and you. :)<3 enjoy
!Trigger Warning!: My southern accent shows in the writing with words like yall, critters, and frankly lol
>In this reader is a 'mental mute' simaliar to butt chin dude (its been awhile since i watched the anime i forgot most of their names)<
>yall i wrote like an essay and then deleted it all bc i didnt like it. I have spent so much time on this T^T
~~~~~~~~
Saiki isn't exactly sure how you wormed your way into his heart, and quite frankly, neither are you.
We all know mental mutes annoy this boy to no end, and for awhile you were no exception. However, you and Nendo are complete opposites. Nendo is loud, abrasive, dumb, and quite frankly, ignorant. You, on the other hand, are perceptive, kind, and you listen when someone (Saiki) asks (orders) you to do something (go away). And that has led Saiki to respect you.
Idk how yall met and frankly idc <33
Teruhashi is 100% jealous when yall get together. And yes she crashes yalls "dates" ( even when it was just you two hanging out as friends) and when the "dates" turned into actual dates yall are the EMBODYMENT of that meme "i cant believe its finally me and you, and you and me... and your friend steve. Doodoo doo doodoodoo steve" >NOT an original idea<
I feel like even though saiki isnt necesarily a fan of animals (hes indifferent to them, much like everything else in his life) you guys would go to different animal cafes to hangout/study/relax/escape from the chaos crew. The animals (specifically cats) would be all over Saiki becuase of his indifference, you know howlike if you get a pet cat the cat in question picks whoever likes it the least to be its person? Yea, thats the critters with saiki.
A bunch of songs that no one asked for that are varying levels of Saiki and you :D
BUT CAN YOU IMAGINE FLUSTERING SAIKI BY TEASING HIM SOMEHOW WITH THIS SONG ●////●
Fan-casting IWTV's Season 2 Claudia: Nico Parker
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn't like the casting of Delaney as Claudia's replacement in season 2. I didn't feel she acted the part nearly as well as Bailey did, nor did I think she looked the part of an eternal 14 year old.
I would've LOVED to have seen Nico Parker play the role. Not only does she look like a forever young, mixed-race, creepy China doll-esque 14 year old, but hiring her as Claudia would also count as somewhat of an easter egg, as she is also is the daughter of Thandie Newton: the woman who played Louis' house slave/first victim Yvette in the 1994 IWTV movie!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aside: Sometimes it's hilarious when you find out who people really are, and who they're pretending to be on the internet 😂, and for what reasons 🤮
WE SAPIENT STARDUST, THE SECOND STARVING NARCISSIST ALBUM
"I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people who do." - Angus Delaney The sophomore Starving Narcissist release, We Sapient Stardust is an album about trying to find an anchor to stabilize yourself with in a rapidly shifting, entropic present. It's about loving and losing, loneliness and escapism, god and the universe, stars, and how there probably isn't anything after this. Dedicated to friends, present and future.
Tumblr media
// ALBUM TRACKLIST //
Salt The Earth - A song about guilt, penance, and hopelessness.
Bastions - A song about ruins, embracing nihility, and how no one's coming to save us.
Sleepless Friends - A song about restless resistance, sleeping through the apocalypse, and The Anarchist Cookbook.
There Are Some Things I'd Rather Not Say - A song about dread, loneliness, and giving in to numbness.
Limbic System's Rag Doll - A song about feeling broken, losing control, and self abandonment.
The Worst Case Scenario - A song about a friendship over radio waves, helpless worry, and the hell of uncertainty.
A Mannequin Story - A song about escapism, the urge to become inhuman, and the end of the world.
Carrion! - A song about art, dependency, and cannibalism as a metaphor.
Rorschach - A song about interpretation, severing the link, and religious disillusion.
I'd Carry You If I Could - A song about rising rent, falling future, and the pre-apocalypse.
Killing God For Giving You Asthma - A song about cosmic indifference, sapient care, and the people you fight for.
Kafkaesque - A song about a late pet, chronic illness, and the absurdity of everything.
(No One Wants To End On) A Sad Song - A song about an identity crisis, a nightmare I never told anyone about, and living on.
Out July 12th. The two singles, Limbic System's Rag Doll and Sleepless Friends, are out on all streaming platforms.
Presave the new album!
Bringing Home My Heart
[After everything that happened with @ofinknsnark bringing home @ofchaosncros was much needed. I didn't even tell @ofcrosnharleys I was bringing him home tonight. I took a deep breath as I pulled into the lot of Stockton State Penitentiary. I couldn't help my smile as the guard asked for my ID.
"Evenin' Mrs. Delaney, just pull in over there. They should be letting Travis through those doors any minute."
I smiled and thanked the guard before parking the car and getting out to wait for my husband.
I always find it awkward when people call him Travis because people around us never do. I was so excited that I started bouncing on the balls of my feet. I missed my husband, Tabby missed her brother and to be truthful, I was tired of being lonely.
When the door opened and @ofchaosncros came out I ran and jumped in his arms.]
Ready to get outta here, baby?
[Kissing my husband without a guard telling me what to do was so nice. When my phone ringing interrupted me? I whined before taking the call from my mom.]
Hey, Ma. Something wrong?
[My mother was driving.
"Hey, Baby doll, no. I was just making sure you made it to pick up, Taz."
My fingers ran over the back of @ofchaosncros' neck as I spoke.]
Yeah, Ma, I got him. He's right here.
The sigh of relief from my mom made me smile.
"Taz! Hi, baby boy. Do me a favor? Take the keys from Cilla and drive. She full of allergy meds and you know how she is."
I growled. I was pissed] MOM!
[The last thing I needed was for her to tell @ofchaosncrosthat someone attacked his baby sister.]
DelaneyPost 05 (ManaPost 12) - The Title Matches The Date
Bonjour tous les gens! Welcome BACK to your #1 ManaPotion Information Station! This week was full of some great developments! From Movement to Monsters! Stay tuned for today's debrief.
Schmoovin!
You May have felt a sort of stiffness in the videos that we share with you all. Controlling The Laney was a little stiff and not super rewarding to control. Well, to remedy this, we've added two brand new moves!
Tumblr media
The Swing Recovery
Introducing the Swing Recovery! Simply push the spacebar while Delaney is in her attacking animation to get a burst of speed in the direction of her swing and get 2x movement speed for 1 second. Useful for quickly getting around The Manor, or tossing some lighter enemies all over the grid!
Tumblr media
The Launch Recovery
Also introducing the Launch Recovery! If you're skilled enough to keep up with Delaney's ludicrous speed during her launch time, you can hold your control keys in the same direction she is traveling as she ends her launch to get a boost of MORE 2x movement speed for 3 seconds! Really helpful in a pinch!
More General Improvements
We've also added a few "Inertial" mechanics to Delaney's controller. For one, we've added Autotargeting functionality to some hammers. These hammers will make Delaney face your cursor as she swings. Hammers that don't have this functionality will instead use Delaney's current facing angle to give her a push in the right direction!
We've also given Delaney a small bit of velocity towards the cursor while she's spinning her hammer! All of this was thanks to a Major refactor of Delaney's Character Controller script! brought down a third of the size of the last one, and runs way faster! Yeahoo!!!
With the minor improvements out of the way, lets talk about the heavy hitters of this week's post:
Monsters! (Eek!)
Delaney isn't quite right without some monsters to interact with, and this week we finally started on those little critters! We decided to focus on the gimmick monsters first to give you all a taste of the fun movement mechanics you'll be able to play around with!
Tumblr media
Pause Ghosts
You've seen these silly spectres before! Although they were in a prototype-y state, they're now complete and looking better than ever! Simply fling Delaney into one of the three variants: Slow, Normal, and Fast! See for yourself what they can do.
Launch Dolls
You haven't seen these stuffed bunnies before! These are Launch Dolls. Swing your hammer and they go flying! As simple as that. They come in two variants; Soft and Hardy. Soft dolls explode to a pile of fluff once they're done launching. Hardy dolls do not explode! You can just keep swinging at them for as long as you please!
These wont be the only monsters, rest assured. We have one more in store that didn't quite finish development on time. You'll see more of him in the next DelaneyPost!
Tumblr media
We spent a lot of time prepping for AI during the latter half of this week, so the other half of our work today is quite technical, and we'll leave it up to you to look into A* Pathfinding, the tried and true algorithm we'll be using to base our AI off of.
Thanks for tuning in this weekend! We have some big stuff planned to close out this summer break development period! Keep your eyes peeled, your T's crossed, your I's dotted, and stay on your P's and Q's for next week's DelaneyPost!
Thanks for reading!
Headcanons for Valeria Roxia
Valeria is the Crown Princess of Isle of Elements, but currently live in the least known country, Williow of Lamentation, with her guardians.
Her unique magic, "Animal Track", used to follow the opponent's footsteps anywhere with a green light.
Although Valeria is kind-hearted and sophisticated princess, she is a carefree who's naively trust the fairies. Moreover, Valeria has a rebellious spirit inside.
Later as Valeria attended to RFA, she slowly to be a pleasing student with a few responsible as the dorm leader of Paw Pflege. However there reasons some students moving to other dorms that all about her.
Firstly, Valeria prefers to living in dark rooms and collects some historical yet gothic things, as a result of being sheltered for most of her life. She had been staying at the cottage in the forest. One more thing is they have no idea their dorm leader actually has photophobia.
Nevertheless, for didn't have to "scare away" people, Valeria worked hard to train herself to face the front of the light zone. But every time she does, Valeria quickly passes out in the sun and sleeps for days away.
Secondly, her bad habit of skipping dinner to do homework. Valeria used to go to the kitchen to get something to eat after finishing her homework. Sometimes she accidentally turned over things in the kitchen cabinets, causing other students to feel scared in the room, and mistakenly thought that it was a killer or a thief who came to the door.
And third, she always carries a stuffed cat with her wherever she goes at midnight. As the result of afraid of thunderstorms, the only thing can help her relieve is a plushie that her guardians gave her. In her eyes, it is just a cute and friendly doll. However, in the eyes of other people (expect Delphine), it is a thing with an evil curse.
She has an animal companion, Delaney, the ragdoll cat. She always called by her owner, "Furball". Delaney know Valeria's feelings and comforted when Valeria is despairing.
As far as the relationship with the NRC goes, Valeria is definitely with the Diasomnia boys. She visits some mysterious castles at Malleus' request and shares the gargoyles they see. Also likes to chat with boys, though she is very sensitive to loud talking from Sebek.
Valeria is motherly and more care about freshmen students, including Impish Royals.
For the Impish Royals, Valeria might be nice to Silvia because she feels the same way about Silvia. She was the only one who allowed Slivia to sleep on her lap. Likewise, Valeria is the one who knows about Slivia's nightmares, even though she's having more sweet dreams.
She has a younger brother, but never mentions anything about him. It could be that he has done something bad to his family, or may have tried to take the throne from his sister in the first place.
Half fairy, half demon, half human, Valeria can only control her own demonic powers and never use them. As for fairy magic, she felt that it was too difficult to control. Recently, with the help of other dormitory leaders, she has continued to study and train hard. In addition, she has learned how to maintain her spell balance under the guidance of the mentors of the school staff.
In her spare time, Valeria likes to embroider on stuffed toys she makes. She also would like to dress up as characters from her favorite novels with clothes she sews.
