Montyyy, i’ve always made the joke that if the bnha ending was bad then i’d just write more fics that go against canon to heal, but now i feel so crushed i almost dont want too anymore? and while i know the feeling will certainly fade, and i hadn’t expected much with leaks tonight, it still made me more upset than words can convey, genuinely i’ve been looking at my unfinished works tonight and feeling so heartbroken at the path Hori decided to go down, and while yes it’s fanfiction when we write these fics based on the series, it’s flexible to do whatever but i’ve always enjoyed sticking as close to the story as i could and now i feel like i cannot based on this latest update and how it’s made me feel. it’s so strange i hate it i hate it, i truly do. this doesn’t feel like a win at all. i love our heroes but this doesn’t feel right. How do you feel?
I feel really frustrated, too. I don’t understand any of the choices hori has made since he decided to kill off shigaraki. the whole point of the story was that izuku took fate and twisted it, and against the odds, made his dream of being the greatest hero come true and saved everyone, bc everybody deserves saving….. is THIS what it is to be the greatest hero??? the people who were calling out the loudest for help are dead or dying or have been forgotten about like…….. what??? what? what was the point of anything in this series!!! it feels like a huge waste of time, and that’s what has upset me the most I think
and I’m right there with you, friend. especially re: my bkg fic, I wanted it to be canon compliant as possible but this whole epilogue is making me want to drop it lol (I won’t dw)

A FRIEND IN NEED
Pixychu Midoriya angst (OC angst)

Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
{WARNINGS: MENTIONS ON BLOOD, VIOLENCE, DEATH, SELF-HARM AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS!!!}
[Class 1A is assigned different agencies to be on. Pixychu is assigned to the Samurai Agency, and she meets her childhood best friend. While on a mission, a villain attacked them and Yumara sacrificed herself to save Pixychu. Later on, Pixychu’s odd behavior surprises everyone. The BNHA OC squad asks Pixychu about it  and she eventually opens up]
It’s been a few weeks after the sports festival, Aizawa sensei was assigning everyone in Class 1A to different agencies. Everyone knew Pixychu Midoriya, a cheerful and hyperactive girl with a heart full of sunshine. She was assigned to the Samurai Agency, a group of heroes known for their discipline and honor.
As Pixychu arrived at the Samurai Agency headquarters, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. It was there that she met her childhood best friend, Yumara Moringa. Her quirk is water/blood manipulation. They had spent countless hours playing together, dreaming of becoming heroes side by side. The reunion filled Pixychu's heart with joy, and she couldn't wait to reunite after a few years of not seeing each other.
One fateful day, while on a mission to protect a high-profile target, a powerful villain attacked them with their quirk. Yumara, always selfless and brave, sacrificed herself to save Pixychu from the villain's deadly blow. The loss was devastating, and Pixychu's world shattered into a million pieces.
Filled with rage and grief, Pixychu unleashed a side of herself that no one had ever seen before. She fought the villain with a ferocity that bordered on madness, nearly beating him to death. She ran to her best friend who was now dying.
Pixychu: Yumara!! Hold on!! We can get help!!
Yumara: Pixychu… d-don’t g-get a-any h-help..
Pixychu looks at her with tears as her best friend was dying and she was determined to get help to save her. Yumara weakly touched Pixychu’s head, knowing she gave her quirk to her.
Yumara: I-it’s o-ok, P-Pixychu… e-even a-after, I-I’m g-gone, I-I’ll a-always b-be t-there f-for y-you.
Yumara took her last breath, dying in Pixychu’s arms. Pixychu cried hard, even after her best friend’s funeral. The once cheerful and optimistic girl had transformed into a vengeful force, consumed by her pain.
Days turned into weeks, and Pixychu's odd behavior continued to surprise her classmates. She became distant, her once bright eyes now clouded with darkness. Kansatoki, Yume, Yukihara, and Amaya, her closest friends, couldn't bear to see her like this. They decided to first ask Deku about her odd behavior.
Kansatoki: Hey Deku, do you know what’s going on with Pixychu?
Deku: I don’t know Kansa… It probably has something to do with her mission. She had gotten silent when she came home that day. I noticed her behavior had changed since she stopped eating and she hasn’t slept. A few days ago, I walked in on her cutting herself.
When they heard this, they wanted to  confront Pixychu, hoping to understand what had caused this drastic change.
Sitting in a quiet corner of the girls locker room, Pixychu finally opened up to her friends. She spoke of the guilt that weighed heavily on her heart.
Pixychu: I should have died instead of her.. I don’t understand why she had to die instead of me..
She couldn't comprehend why she had been spared while her best friend had paid the ultimate price. Kansatoki was almost like the mom of their friend group. Hearing this, Kansatoki was a little pissed at what her own friend said about herself. She flicked Pixychu’s head hard and Pixychu flinched from it.
Kansatoki: Pixychu!! You NEVER say anything like that to yourself, EVER!! She paid the price to save you, her best friend. It’s like you’re spitting at the price she paid to save you. Is that how you want her to feel, Pixychu?
Tears streamed down Pixychu's face as she confessed her fear of losing control, of becoming a monster consumed by vengeance. She feared that the darkness within her would overshadow the light she had always carried.
At that moment, Pixychu realized that she didn't have to face her pain alone. Her friends reminded her of the strength she possessed, not just physically, but emotionally as well. They assured her that it was okay to grieve, to feel anger and sadness, but that she mustn't let it consume her.
With their unwavering support, Pixychu slowly began to heal. She learned to channel her pain into her training, using it as fuel to become an even stronger hero. Her friends stood by her side, reminding her of the love and light that still existed within her.
As time passed, Pixychu's odd behavior gradually faded away. She returned to her cheerful and hyperactive self, but with a newfound resilience and understanding. The experience had changed her, but it had also made her stronger.
Pixychu's journey taught her that even the brightest of souls can be touched by darkness. It taught her the importance of leaning on others during times of hardship and the power of friendship in overcoming even the deepest of wounds. And most importantly, it taught her that even in the face of tragedy, the light within her would always shine through.

No Idea (Bakugou x Reader)
Pairing: Bakugou x Reader
Anon asked:  "yooo sketch was so cute and he was so in character! if you're taking requests could you write a fic where basically all of 1a is at the dorms besides the reader who's patrolling and she gets attacked by dabi and has to fight him off alone meanwhile 1a and dadzawa watch from the dorms via news channel? bonus points for a water quirk reader! you can match the reader up with either deku or bakugou!"

a/n: Basically this entire ask is describing just a portion of what I’m preparing for my multi-chapter Todoroki fic that I’ve already teased about for my 500 followers special, you can call it maybe an alternate pathway, or a separate continuity that helps to characterize my OC.  And I guess this one is well-timed because I just hit 1K yesterday?? I don’t know how it happened either tbh There will be a special event and a separate mushy post to come, but thank you all so so so much from the bottom of my heart.
This ended up longer than I expected, but that’s okay because I haven’t posted in a few days and I had time today to bang it out in one sitting.  I know this request came from a fluff like Sketch, so I hope you also like angst because that’s my specialty ;) (not to mention I was waiting for someone to request something angsty because I’ve had that photo saved and ready to use it for the LONGEST time).  Thank you for requesting it anon!
"Kinda sucks being out on patrol on the weekend," I sigh to myself, biting into my taiyaki.  "But it isn't all bad I guess."
Mirko had called me out to do a quick patrol this weekend.  This part of the city has been pretty quiet lately, and I don't mind showing my face.  A few passerby's wave at me and I respond in kind.  I like this part of the job, being the hero that everyone knows, respects, and trusts to protect them.  It gives me more drive to save them in time of crises.
"Blue!" a middle school girl walks by and waves.
"Hi, Mina," I smile and wave back.  "Going home from cram school?"
"Yup!" she flashes me a toothy grin.  "Dad's making dinner tonight for once!  It's Mom's birthday!"
"That's wonderful," my smile softens.  "Wish her happy birthday for me, okay?  And get home quick before she worries!"
"I will!" the girl runs off down the sidewalk, waving behind her.
So cute, I think, watching her small figure weave through the crowd of people.  I swallow the last bite of my fish treat and continue on my patrol.  Thankfully, it's another laid back day: I direct a few lost pedestrians to their destinations, make small talk with more familiar faces, help a few elderly carry groceries to their houses, and the like.  I'm content with the mundane flow of a lazy Sunday afternoon.
While talking to a grocery store employee, a sudden explosion in the alley across the street breaks routine.
"Everyone get inside the nearest building or run as far as you can!" I scream out instructions to the citizens nearest to me as I keep an eye on the alley for the next explosion and help anyone within reach to look for cover.  That explosion wasn't normal, I know those blue flames like the back of my hand.
Looks like my Sunday stroll is over.  I dial on my phone as I thread through the frightened crowd toward the alley.  "Mirko san, I might need backup.  There's a very high possibility that the League is involved here, but I'll confirm-"
Right when I'm within a few yards of the alley's opening, another bright blue light flashes, triggering the surrounding crowd to scream and run away faster.  I assist a few others, waiting for the smoke to clear.  A silhouette appears amidst the dark fog, and I know exactly who it is.
"I'm confirming, it's-"
Before I can finish, the shadow stretches out its hand towards me and blasts flames straight at me.  Immediately, I put up a water shield in front of me, then start building it wider so the people near and behind me can get away without damage.  I already know what happens when something - or someone - touches those dangerous blue flames.
"It's-It's Dabi of the League," I force myself to say, the name burning as it rolls off my tongue.  "He appears to be alone."
"Roger.  Try to apprehend him by yourself before I get there!  I'll hurry over as soon as possible!" my mentor responds and cuts the call.
I make sure everyone within the immediate area is evacuated from the streets, scanning every inch wildly for stragglers.  Heat increases around the me suddenly, and darting my head back around shows the fire eating through my water defense without faltering.  Before it completely penetrates my defense, I jump over to the side behind a car, right before a giant hole is ripped in my shield.
I catch my breath calling the water back towards me into my water nodes and compartments in my hero suit.
"Looks like you've improved a lot since the last time I saw you, (Y/n) (L/n)."
His menacing yet familiar voice as he drags out my full name sends shivers up my spine.  Damn it, of all the villains, I had to face him!
"Aw, don't be shy now, I know you're happy to see me too."  His voice moves towards my left.  "We don't even get to see each other anymore."
"I'd prefer it that way," I snap, readying myself for another inevitable attack.
"You better give me a good fight, little one."
His voice-!
At the last second before hearing the crash, I jump out from in front of my cover, the intense heat from the blue flames just millimeters from burning my fingertips.  Dabi had jumped onto the top of the car, his voice being evenly split in both of ears signalling that he had moved from my left to right behind me in the nick of time or else I'd be ashes.
I finally got a good look at his face.  The stitches and staples etched into his face down to his chest and arms are all-too-familiar, along with his raven black hair and turquoise eyes.
"Reminiscing?" his head tilts, gravely voice taunting.  "I don't think you have time to do that."
I sprint off and around for more cover as he throws more fire pillars from his hands, trying to find a fire hydrant of water fountain to give me more material to work with.  Otherwise, I'm only limited to manipulating what's in the air and the stores in my costume.  To my dismay, there's nothing around.
All I have to do is slowly manipulate the water particles around him and condense them over his hands to stop his quirk temporarily.  That's the plan in my head that I'm going for.  But he's way ahead of me, predicting all my moves and constantly jumping to move away from where I've gathered the water particles and forcing me to start over, leaving me to dodge him and put some distance between us.
"I already know all your plans, you can't defeat me that easily by yourself," Dabi mocks me.
I'm at the end of my rope.  It's difficult to keep running and there just isn't enough water in the air to work for a fast attack.  I dodge another one of his attacks and wrack my brain to think of a different strategy.  My mind can only come up with one all or nothing plan, but if it doesn't work, I'll be done for quickly.
It's a risk I have to take.  I slowly start collecting as much water as I can into my suit and immediately around me.  Knock him out as quickly as possible, face him head on.  I take a deep breath.  My body shakes from exhaustion, anticipation, and fear.  I'll have to use my body's own water storage to help me, making this plan dangerous.
Right when Dabi's about to burn me at my new hiding spot I jump out and summon all the water I've stored to mobilize.  Drown him!  A sphere of water forms just around his head.  In his moment of shocked hesitation before he strikes, I force the water to go down his airway to suffocate him.  He catches wind of exactly what I'm doing somehow, raising his hands to send another blast at me.  I summon another set of water from my costume stores to surround his hands to keep the explosion tamed.  Come on, fall unconscious already!
But it's curtains for me.  He's summoning a larger blast to his hands, neutralizing my watery protection around them and I don't have enough stored up to replenish it.  Desperately, I start using up the water inside my body.  Damn it hurry up!  I can't-!
I feel myself reach my limit just as he completely disintegrates my water seal with an explosion, sending me flying backwards down the street until I roll to a stop.  I'm exhausted, I can feel my blood pressure and heart rate dropping, and I'm too weak to try anything else.
Through my dizzied vision, Dabi staggers towards me, coughing and sputtering.  "Damn kid, you really almost had me."
It didn't work, I'm a failure.  I don't have the energy to say anything back.
"Get your hands off her!" a female voice resounds, and stomps reverberate through the ground.
"That's my cue."  I crack open an eye to see him smirk down at me before using his quirk to lift himself off the ground.  "Until we meet again, (Y/n) (L/n)."  He rocket away without a hitch.
Damn it...
After waking up in the emergency ward attached to an IV for my severe dehydration, Mirko tells me Dabi got away and she rushed me right over to the hospital to treat me since I was unconscious.  They won't let me leave until I've replenished all my stores and my urine's clear.
"Also, your teacher's coming to get you," my mentor adds.
Aizawa is going to kill me.
"OI!  WHICH ROOM IS IT?!"
Oh for fuck's sake, I know who else is gonna kill me.
Bakugou stomps in, his head trying to be held back by Aizawa's capture weapon to no avail.
"YOU DUMBASS-!" my boyfriend starts off before the scarf comes over his mouth to muffle his screams.
"This is a hospital, control yourself," Aizawa grits at him deathly and walks next to my hospital bed.  "I guess you did the best you could, but I won't praise you for almost getting yourself killed.  It was a good strategy, it would've worked if you had backup."  He pats my head before smirking.  "Bakugou was about to cry when you collapsed."
"SENSEI!"
"I'll leave you two alone to talk."
Him and Mirko step outside the room, leaving my high-strung boyfriend to rush me.  "Do you have any idea how fucking worried I was, you dumbass?!  You almost got yourself kill, look where you ended up...!"
I drown out his screaming, noticing how bloodshot his crimson eyes are from crying.  He was so worried about me.  I reach my hand up weakly and touch his cheek, cutting his reprimanding screams off short suddenly.  If I had the tears to cry, I would.  Instead, I offer him a tired, melancholy stare of affection.  "I'm sorry," I manage out.  "I know I said I wouldn't use up my own body's water, but I didn't want to die, Katsuki."
The aggression melts away from him face and his hand reaches up to hold mine.  "I guess it was instinctive," he admits, closing his eyes and I feel him start to tremble.  "Why would you face a villain like that alone?"
"I called for backup-"
"You should've stalled for as long as you could!" he sobs out, gripping my hand tighter.
My own body starts to well up, feeling the tickle in my eyes but no tears can escape.  "I tried," is my soft reply.  "I'm sorry."
Bakugou envelopes my body in his, trembling warmth blanketing me with his high emotions.  "What would I have done without you?  When I saw you get hit by that explosion, I almost lost it.  Did you think about how I would feel if you pulled something like that and didn't survive it?"
I feebly return his embrace, tangling my fingers in his puffy hair to comfort the sobs wracking his body.  "I'm here, Katsuki.  I could have been in a worse condition, but I'm still here now."
His trembling and cries slow down to a calming end, and he remains wrapping me with his affection.  "You did well, except the almost dying thing, I guess.  I'm proud of you for holding your own as long as you did against a villain like him."
"Wow, a compliment?  You must have really been shaken up," I poke fun at him to lighten the mood.
"I can be nice..." he mumbles into my neck.  "You better drink a whole ton of water so we can go back together.  Everyone else is worried about you too."
My mind wanders back to Dabi.  I'll have to face him again eventually, and he knows what I'll try to do in the future.  I'll need to be ready.  But until then, I have a hotheaded Pomeranian boyfriend to comfort me from my past and build towards my - hopefully, our - future.

Horikoshi: This will probably not be super popular, but it’ll be fun!
Us: Oh, well that sounds nice!
Us, 290 chapters later: This Isn’t Fun Anymore Horikoshi
Horikoshi: :)
Anyways, welcome to the beginning of - hopefully - a long term and engaging project. I am basically aware of all of canon, and am up to date with the manga, but I haven’t actually read from the beginning of the series, and I’ve only watched the series up to the Deku v Todo fight in the sports festival. However, I’ve been curious as to how the manga portrays stuff that I’ve seen in anime gif form, and so I figured, hey, make this a project!
If you have questions or anything, the ask box is open for now. Meanwhile, I am going to head into the first chapter proper!
[No. 1 - Izuku Midoriya: Origin]
Tumblr media
Wow, you’d almost think this kid would grow up to be a villain or something, with that kind of attitude, huh? No way that this kind of attitude would ever come to bite him in the ass and force him to reevaluate his entire character and kickstart his character development.
(Before you say anything, I like Katsuki as a character, but DAMN did he have to do a lot of growing up. I suppose when one is at the bottom, the only way to go is up… unless you have a pickaxe.)
One thing I actually noticed right away, and I dunno how much it’s used in other manga (seeing as I currently am not reading any other manga and the last ones I read were… a long while ago…) is the shape of the text boxes in order to convey emotion! It’s actually hella neat and a little detail I wouldn’t think about adding if I were in his position (not that I can draw all that well, but that’s not my point). You can practically hear the warbling in Izuku’s tone and the rougher edges in Katsuki’s!
(Also, question for the English sub while we’re at it, why the fuck does Katsuki sound like he’s a goddamned adult when he’s fourteen. What the fuck.)
Tumblr media
Interesting little thing here, Katsuki not actually using his quirk here against Izuku; his hand is trailing smoke from his explosion, but it’s not a direct burn wound. Not that he should be doing this at all, but with the number of fics I see where Katsuki literally gives Izuku second or third degree burns, I think this is a reminder that canon Katsuki has some modicum of restraint, even this early.
Before I forget, hello winged kid who definitely has no plot significance whatsoever. No siree.
(If you are new to the manga/show and are reading this as among your first introductions to the fandom, first off, I am so sorry. Secondly, expect me to be… definitely making a lot of sarcastic quips to things in the future.)
Onto the second/third page, which is supposed to be a full spread, but is split up into two pages on the online reading site. RIP, but I will not complain about free access to the whole manga.
Tumblr media
Lookit this green bean. I love him so much. I can’t wait for him to suffer.
Izuku: wait, what?
Anyways, a few things to note:
Tumblr media
Who the fuck is this guy? I looked into the wiki but he apparently doesn’t warrant a page or even a mention as one of the background faces of the series, but look at that fucking claw, man! And those boots and jets! He’s very obviously themed after a baseball catcher, so I’m going to guess that he has some kind of quirk that deals with either drawing projectiles to him, or perhaps in throwing projectiles… in either case, it’d be something like Snipe’s quirk, so maybe this is his less howdy-happy sibling.
Tumblr media
Oh right, the chapter. The other heroes we see on the scene in this two-page spread are Death Arms, Air Jet, and Kamui Woods.
Also, something I want to point out that I’m sure others have but just struck me while looking at this spread - multiple people are recording / taking pictures of this. I wonder if part of the reason for the villain industry to be as strong as it is is because the villains, even if they know they’ll lose, still get their own sort of fame in being in the news? That… might explain a lot about how there can be enough villains to even run an entire damn industry.
(Well, that and a lot of sociopolitical commentary on BNHA society, but we don’t need to get into that now. Maybe wait two hundred or so chapters first.)
Tumblr media
Not gonna lie, I had to double take because I was like ‘wait, what is Ochako doing here?’ but then I realized it was just a random civilian; she doesn’t have those side bangs Ochako does. But now I almost wonder what sort of world we could have had, if they’d met a bit earlier.
Onto the fifth page (fourth is just a filler page, nothing on it), and we get treated to this gem:
Tumblr media
Tag yourself I’m the guy who’s slackjawed because his kid is fucking glowing.
The first four examples of quirks shown in this flashback are the luminescence, telekinesis, ice, and that flame-headed(?) mutation. Of them, we actually see hints to the fact that quirks have drawbacks, as the girl with ice is drawn with the same frostbite backlash as Shouto, while the flame-headed kid is… well, I have no idea, but they do not look to be happy.
Also, I love the nod Hori does to the heroes of our era as silhouettes! This is just more evidence to me, along with the fact that the first quirked kid is born and presented in a modern hospital, that this series takes place sometime in the future. I… even calculated the years it could technically be, based on information we get in a few chapters, but I’ll save that for then.
Onto the sixth page! A nice shot of Kamui Woods getting into position, and man is that giant quirk unnerving.
Tumblr media
What the fuck is with those feet, Hori. Those aren’t feet.
Next we see how the crowds are reacting, basically with no panic or concern. One guy is just casually letting his boss know he’ll be getting in late. And Backdraft! That is some serious water manipulation, but it seems like it has to be the water they’re in contact with? Also, is it just me or is that a portable pressure hose on their back?
And of course, Izuku being excited over hero stuff, as one does. He’s so babey faced, going back to current chapters after this is gonna be fucking wild.
Onto the seventh page, and here we are with the ‘you’re pure evil’ speech to someone who’s… just a robber. Seriously, dude? I get that you’re still fairly new to the scene (I think he might not be from a hero high school, but a late join program, but that’s another post), but like. You can’t just call random people ‘pure evil’ and correlate petty crime with like, actual mass murderers, or else people might start to see things in black and white and, you know, create the idea of ‘villainous people’ and so push even more innocents down the path of desperation and criminality.
Wait, sociopolitics later. Izuku being a hero fanboy now. Even able to utter Kamui’s attack call as he’s calling it out, with some seriously cool visual effects-
Tumblr media
And on the eighth page, we have Mt. Lady crash the scene. Literally. She just fucking shows up outta nowhere and fucking leaps up and delivers a kick right to the villain’s chin, throwing him back through the train bridge wall and sending debris down to the ground below. Sure hope there weren’t civilians there!
Also, hello to that random guy on the roof watching this. I think in Smash they made that guy her manager or something.
I love how Izuku and the other guy are like ‘what the fuck’ while the press just shows up out of nowhere and is like. Hyperfocused on her. (I’ve heard some issues with the portrayal of media/reporters in the series, but since I have no experience with that sort of thing, I can’t say much on it.)
The last panel of this page shows that, fortunately, there were no civilians on that part of the street (even though it being rush hour and the huge crowds on the other side of the bridge should have suggested otherwise… but what do I know?)
With page nine, we get to see our first case of villain apprehension, which to note does not include any sort of quirk suppressors. Because those don’t exist. Otherwise Aizawa and the Eight Precepts’ erasure bullets would not be such huge deals to everyone. I mean yikes, though, the guy is fucking muzzled. And you can see the damage done by Mt. Lady in the background, both physical and emotional. Not to mention…
Tumblr media
What the fuck is that face.
But yeah, this notes that performance in heroics determines not only what they’re paid by the government, but also how much fame they get. No way a system like this could backfire in any capacity, right? Right? (cough).
Tumblr media
I love how Hori uses Izuku’s muttering habit as the border for the text bubble when the kid zones into his little world. Also, gigantification is noted to be a common and strong quirk, so we really should see more OCs with size altering quirks in fics in the future, you hear me? Honestly, with it being common, I would almost expect there to be entire buildings, or maybe even neighborhoods / blocks dedicated to catering to size shifters… wonder what those places look like.
Also aww, the guy saying good luck on the heroics dream to Izuku and Izuku just sparkling. What a cutie. Can’t wait for him to suffer. :D
Izuku: No seriously, what-
Anyways, I’m cutting off here since we then transition into the next ‘scene’ and this is a long chapter - 55 pages! Besides, this has already surpassed 1700 words, I don’t need to ramble on too long in one post.
Lemme know what you think, and I’ll be back with more soon!

SAY WHA??: Prologue
AN: Fun fact about me, I am a runner. So you bet your booty when that MHA ‘He will Meet the Three Musketeers’ teaser image came out, ya girl took that and RAN with it. Right into headcanon territory. I tired to use as much as I know from reading the manga, so there are spoilers of the War Arc/Dabi reveal/My Lady My Queen Midnight/Bakugou rising (aka finally showing some signs of positive emotional intelligence growth)/etc. I will also be mixing in my own OCs and thoughts on the meaning behind the WHA patches on their uniforms and what happens during this moving. And yes, Bakugou will be about that melanin. I’ll try to post every two weeks but…I am TERRIBLE at timeframes. Also, IDK what to call this, so right now it’s “Say WHA?” lol
Anyways, enjoy BBs.
Tumblr media
Chapter 1: The Aftermath is only the beginning
Bakugou should have never jumped in front of Deku. Yes, he said it. And no, it wasn’t about the heroic act in itself or the public admittance that he does give a shit (albeit tiny shit) about that Damn Nerd. It was the fact that now, in the midst of the aftermath, everyone was looking for a hero. And, for some reason, everyone was looking at him.
The three weeks after The War with the Paranormal Liberation Army was nothing short of a blur. After intense healing and barely out of his stiches, he, Deku and Todoroki were immediately thrown into the media spotlight only to quickly be yanked back into the dark by All Might and the Hero Commission. There was so much to answer for, but no one seemed to know what to say. The Hero Comission went to work on damage control, class was suspended. Bakugou just focused on getting full mobility back to his arm. He didn’t want to think about anything else or unpack any emotions. But, swallowing his emotions was becoming more difficult with each passing day.
Everyone was clinging onto him. At Midnight’s funeral, Kirishima cried into his shoulder. Bakugou stayed silent, just letting it happen. After all, Kirishima, Mina, and Momo were the first ones that found their teacher lying breathless on the battlefield. Even if Bakugou couldn’t form the words to console his friend, the least he could do was be the strong shoulder to cry on. Even though he was breaking on the inside.
Then, of course, Deku. Despite the insane amount of growth and power his childhood friend had acquired in their first year at U.A, he was still a self-shaming masochist in the making (much like the explosion hero himself). Deku went into a week long shame spiral, blaming every death on his lack of ability to take down Shigaraki and his weakness for seeing someone that still needed saving.
He too broke down in front of Bakugou, blaming himself for the scars that graced the blond boy’s chest and shoulder. “I should have been stronger. I should have been able to save and win. I didn’t do either. I can’t make this power my own when I can’t even save the people I care about-“
Despite the emotional growth Bakugou had undertaken, he was still Bakugou. But instead of outright knocking Deku into a wall he merely shoved the boy so hard he fell back in a chair and snarled, “I’d beat your ass right now but somehow I’d think you’d enjoy that. Blame yourself for any of this in front of me again and I’ll blow your ass up so fast they’ll find pieces of you in different time zones.” Yeah, he still needed to work on his bedside manner.
Todoroki was another story. The boy hadn’t said a word, a single word in three weeks. He made himself scarce, stayed in his dorm despite everyone being ushered home to be with their families. Who could blame him? The media was in a frenzy over the reveal of Toya Todoroki and the public announcement of his father’s crimes and abuse. Todoroki didn’t even attend Midnight’s funeral. Bakugou wasn’t sure if it was Todoroki’s decision not to draw attention to the sensitive matter, or the Hero Commission. Bakugou was really starting to hate the Hero Commission.
They were protecting Endeavor with all the power and influence they had, but leaving Todoroki to defend himself.
Bastards.
Both Deku and Bakugou had tried, in their own ways to engage their Icy Hot friend, but it was no use. Deku tried inviting him to his mother’s to stay over, ecen offering cold soba for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Todoroki never responded to the message.
Bakugou, in true Bakugou fashion, tried kicking down his door and challenging him to a fight, only to find a giant wall of sharp icicles dangerously close to his body. After blasting them for 10 minutes, he got the hint and left him be.
There was so much to cleanup between the three of them. They were all broken in their own ways. But, as much as time stood still at certain moments, things began to move on and forward.
And now, here they all were, standing on a runway at the early hours of the morning for a new mission that none of them had any idea about.
“The Hero committee thanks you three for your assistance with this rather important mission.” The president spoke. She dressed in all black, looking extra serious. And in Bakugou’s mind, evil as shit.
“Yeah, you didn’t give us much of a choice,” Bakugou grumbled while clutching the handle of his suitcase.
“We’re happy to be of assistance,” Midoriya answered, “But, um, can I ask where we’re going?”
“Due to the recent events and,” The president treaded carefully, “unforeseen revelations….The Hero Committee has partnered with international hero departments across the globe to form a united front against villains from all nations. We have formed the WHA. The World Hero Alliance. With a focus on the heroes of the future each Hero Commission has selected their brightest and bravest hero’s to represent Japan’s hero effort.”
Bakugou looked at Todoroki, who was currently staring at the ground, and then to Midoriya before speaking, “So you’re sending us? What are we, show horses or something?! I thought we were going to kick some ass!”
“I couldn’t agree more.” The president’s response caused Bakugou’s eyes to raise slightly, “You three were not at the top of our list. However you were personally recommended by All Might himself and we owe him quite the debt for his commitment to the cleanup the past few weeks.”
“Sorry I’m late everyone.” All Might’s voice cut through the rather thick air. The skinny man dressed in his usual oversize suit, the darkness around his eyes looking extra black and fatigued. All Might had been spending every waking moment on all the news channels reassuring the public of their faith in heroes and in Endeavour, the still number 1 hero.
“Young Midoriya, Bakugou, Todoro-“
“Shouto. Just Shouto.”
Damn, he finally speaks! And those three words managed to hit All Might, and Deku, and Bakugou with such force you would think he himself had inherited One for All.
“Right uh…Shoto. I’m so glad you all could make it. You all have your passports, licenses, and everything? Don’t worry about your hero costumes, I had some new ones created for you all to wear during the events.”
“Can anyone explain where the hell we’re going and what the fuck we’re doing?!” Damn, someone had to say it.
All Might let out a small laugh, “We’re headed to the first Annual World Hero Alliance in The United States. Los Angeles to be exact.”
“The…The… THE UNITED STATES?!” It was like the sadness washed out of Deku, revealing the eager, bright eyed hero student, and complete fanboy, “Where you became a hero?!”
“That’s right, kid. I’ll explain everything on the jet.”
Midoriya was already rushing up the flight stairs, leaving Bakugou and Shouto on the runway. Bakugou didn’t know what to do. He could tell Icy Hot was a hot mess of emotion, despite his emotionless demeanor. His natural instinct was to shake/threaten/beat the sadness out of his classmate, but he had a feeling that wouldn’t be effective.
“I know why you’re looking at me like that.” Shouto spoke, his eyes facing forward to the jet, “And no, I don’t want to talk about it. I’m fine. Let’s just…get this this stupid mission over with.” With that he walked forward and boarded the jet.
Fuck. Bakugou secretly hopped the WHA, or whatever it was called would get overrun by villains, as most of their missions/trips do. At least he would have someone to blast into smithereens that deserved it.
AN: Alright. Just a teaser here.  I’m so excited to introduce you to The 3 aspiring heroes of The United States in the next chapter. My OCs. I can’t reveal much yet (honestly, I’m still test driving hero names). But, so excited regardless. I’ll post the next chapter by in the coming days.

Bakugou x Vigilante!OC
Warnings: angst, explicit language, violence
Word count:   2976
Genre: enemies to lovers ; angst ; romance, slow burn
When a new student makes an entrance, Bakugou has a real bad feeling. There is something about this girl that just doesnt feel right. From the flaming hair to the calculating glint in her green eyes, everything about her just pisses him off.
Little does he know that his fate is intertwined with the person he despises so much, defining his future path in a way he would have never expected
Tumblr media
The hardest part about preparing for the Sports Festival was the fact that none of the students had any idea about what they were up against. They could have all the time in the world to train, but with no proper idea of how to apply it, the preparation would ultimately be useless. On top of that, Aizawa had kept his word, only allowing Artemis to watch her classmates during combat training instead of taking part herself.
While it was annoying, it did allow her to observe the abilities of her classmates and plan how to handle them should she be up against them in combat. In fact, she was surprised by just how willingly they shared every aspect of their powers with her. Midoriya, in particular, was always talking to her about quirks and strategy.
“Well, since you're not able to take part in combat training, you're missing a lot of material that you can't just grasp just by watching,” he said to her one day. “So, to make things fair, you're more than welcome to look at my notes!”
Artemis was grateful, of course, and she had to admit that his infectious smile was enough to lift her spirits every time. But this whole friendship thing still felt so odd to her. And yet with every passing day, she found it less and less exhausting. Often, she caught herself wondering if this was how it was like to be a normal kid.
Her own training, however, was beyond frustrating. Her body was healing so much more slowly than she was used to thanks to the poison still circulating her veins. Her quirk control was off and her stamina so much lower than she needed to fight effectively. She pushed herself regardless, training every day by herself until her body decided that enough was enough.
“Man, I really wish we could’ve worn our hero costumes instead of our PE uniforms,” Mina complained while Class 1A changed in the waiting room of the big arena.
“But this way, everyone has a fair chance,” Ojiro piped up.
Artemis sat at one of the tables, braiding the long side of her hair to keep it out of her eyes. The festival had arrived so much more quickly than she would have liked. Pulling another energy drink out of her bag, she tried to ignore the fatigue that seemed to accompany her constantly since the USJ incident.
She’d dragged herself through worse situations. All she had to do was get through the day. Shouldn't be too hard, right? After all, she sure as hell wasn't a weakling that needed to lay down at every minor inconvenience. Failure was not an option.
The sound of a door slamming jolted her out of her thoughts.
“Everyone, get ready! The competition is about to start,” Iida exclaimed in his usual student rep voice that he used to ‘organise’ class events.
But before anyone could actually leave for the arena, Todoroki got up and stepped into Midoriya's way.
“I think it’s safe to say that from an objective standpoint, I am stronger than you,” he said in his impossibly deep voice. “And since you have All Might in your corner, I’m going to make every effort to beat you.”
Artemis stood up without thinking. Something in the way Todoroki was hovering over her new friend made alarm bells go off in her head. There was genuine contempt in his declaration.
“Hey, now. No need to get all aggressive. We’re all in the same class.” Kirishima laughed awkwardly as he stepped between Todoroki and Midoriya.
“We’re not here to be friends,” Todoroki spat, shrugging off Kirishima's hand. “This is a competition to see who’s the best!”
Something in his tone of voice made Artemis hesitate. Was it because some time ago, she could have been the ones saying those words? It wasn't that she didn't agree with Todoroki, but the way he was talking to her friend didn't sit right with her. This sudden protectiveness over Midoriya surprised even herself.
“Todoroki… I don't know what you think you’re saying when you tell me you'll beat me. Of course you're better than me. I think you’re more capable than most people here,” said Midoriya. “But I’ll still be going at it with everything I have. I won't lose.”
The determination in Midoriya's voice was something Artemis hadn’t heard before. The usually kind, shy boy had a whole different look in his eyes. He really meant what he said. Artemis felt a smirk tug at the corners of her lips. Was she proud at how Midoriya was standing his ground? Perhaps he wasn’t the only one changing, after all.
The stadium was packed to the brim. The USJ incident had made class 1A so famous that it seemed like the entire city and media had their attention only on them. The first round was declared as an obstacle course around the stadium.
That seemed easy enough, Artemis thought, though knowing UA, there would probably be several extra challenges along the way. She just needed to get through it as fast as she could while making sure to preserve her strength for later.
*
Bakugou ground his teeth until they hurt. His lungs were burning, his breath ragged. The stinging of his arms told him he’d pushed his quirk to a painful level, and yet still he’d lost. How the hell had he only made it  to third place in the first round, while Deku of all people had come first? His head pounded with rage as he glared at Midoriya. He'd been in the lead with Todoroki, and then Deku had just blasted himself into the sky, shooting past them at a speed neither he nor Todoroki had been able to catch up with.
Bakugou straightened his spine as Midnight explained that there would be a break to prepare for the next round. He wouldn't lose again.
Forcing himself to take a calming breath, he suddenly noticed that a certain redhead hadn’t placed anywhere near the top of the ranks.
His brows furrowed. He’d been surprised that she’d even taken part in the competition, considering what had happened just two weeks earlier. But she wouldn't have competed if she hadn't healed up properly… right? Yet her ranking said otherwise.
Bakugou turned slowly and looked around. Just where was Artemis, anyway? He scanned the crowd, an uneasy feeling settling in his stomach. He spotted her making her way towards the arena exit where the waiting rooms and restrooms could be found.
Even from a distance, he could tell that something was off. Artemis was hunched slightly as she walked, her face pale. Before he could stop himself, he was moving towards her.
Bakugou had been walking through the empty halls of the stadium for a few minutes when he suddenly heard a terrible retching and coughing, followed by a curse in a language he didn't speak.
Why was it that this girl had no sense of self preservation? Following the noises, he turned on his heels, strode towards the women's restroom and kicked the door open.
Sure enough, there she was, looking like death. She was kneeling down over the toilet bowl and clinging to the seat with white knuckles. Anger bubbled up in Bakugou’s gut as he watched her retch again. Artemis's whole body was shaking. Even Bakugou could tell she was in pain. Fucking hell.
How many nights had he woken up sweat drenched because he could still feel her blood soaking into his clothes? The image of her head falling back, her body growing cold in his arms as he saved her life, haunted him the moment he closed his eyes.
“What the fuck are you doing?” he growled.
Artemis flinched at the sound of his voice. Bakugou watched her wipe her mouth with trembling hands and look up at him. A myriad of emotions flickered across her face. Shock. Frustration. Rage.
“What are you doing here?” she rasped, falling back against the wall.
“What am I doing here? Seriously?” he hissed.
“This is the women's bathroom, dipshit. You really shouldn't-”
“Who gives a fuck? Look at you! If you're sick, you shouldnt be anywhere near the festival. Are you trying to kill yourself?”
Bakugou felt his body tremble, the look of defiance in her eyes fuelling the rage within him. Why wouldn't she just listen? And why was he even so worried in the first place? He shouldn’t care. He didn’t!
“I’m fine. A little overexertion never killed anyone,” Artemis huffed as she finally pulled herself to her feet. “This has nothing to do with you. Leave me alone.”
Something inside Bakugou snapped. If she was going to wreck herself beyond help, she could do that in her own time. He wasn’t about to watch her kill herself. Not when he’d worked so hard to save her.
“Enough,” he growled, marching towards her. “I will not have you carried out of this stadium in a fucking stretcher again.”
Before Artemis could say anything, Bakugou grabbed her by the wrist and threw her over his shoulder. She shrieked and struggled in his grasp, but her body was so weak, it did little to deter him. He barely felt her efforts to push him away.
“Bakugou, put me down this instant!” Artemis hissed, her fists drumming against his back.
“Quit it, squirt. I've had enough.”
Again, she tried to wriggle free, but Bakugou simply wrapped his arm tighter around her waist and picked up his pace.
“Where the fuck are you even taking me? Let me go!”
“The old lady’s office. You’re done for today.”
“Wait, what?”
Ignoring her complaints, Bakugou carried Artemis all the way to the second floor. When they got to Recovery Girl’s office, he didn't even bother knocking. He kicked the door open, strode into the room and dropped the girl onto the bed.
“What on earth is going on?” Recovery Girl asked, eyes flicking between Bakugou and the still-cursing Artemis.
“She's sick. I found her throwing up in the toilets. I need you to excuse her from the competition,” Bakugou said dryly, holding Artemis down on the bed.
“The fuck? I’m fine. Get your hands off me!”
Recovery Girl walked over and placed her hand on Artemis’s forehead. “Dark circles around the eyes, elevated heart rate, raised temperature. You've pushed yourself too hard again,” the old lady said with a scolding tone. “This is why I told Aizawa you shouldn't have participated in the festival at all. You're not properly healed yet.”
“For the hundredth time, I’m fine,” Artemis huffed, swatting away Recovery Girl’s hand. “I don’t need to be babied.”
“You are not fine. Tell me the truth, girl. Did you train after you were released from the hospital instead of taking it easy as I instructed you?” Recovery Girl’s eyes narrowed at the pouting girl.
Artemis didn’t look at her, which told everyone in the room exactly what they needed to know.
“Of course you did,” Bakugou growled with a shake of his head.
Before Artemis could utter another word, Recovery Girl got up and grabbed a handful of files. It was obvious that there would be no room to argue here.
“It was good of you to bring her, boy,” she said to Bakugou. “I’m going to go and fetch Aizawa. Can you stay with her and make sure she doesn't run off?”
Bakugou rolled his eyes. Of course he'd have to babysit again, though he’d rather stay if it minimised the chance of Artemis fucking off again.
Artemis sat on the bed, brimming with anger. Despite her exhaustion, she still had enough strength in her to glare holes into the back of Bakugou's head, though perhaps not enough to resist the urge to sucker punch him in the face.
Once the door closed behind Recovery Girl, silence fell over the room. Thoughts rushed through Artemis’s head so fast she could barely grasp them. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d been this angry.
The fact that Bakugou just stood there, arms crossed, made everything worse. God, she wanted to strangle him.
“You had no right to do that,” she finally spat through gritted teeth. “I don’t need your fucking help. I don’t need anyone’s help.”
“Right,” Bakugou scoffed, turning to meet her gaze. “Because lying on the ground hunched over a toilet bowl is just a normal day for you, right?”
“That’s none of your fucking business. I would have been fine! It was just-”
“No, Artemis,” Bakugou snapped. “It's not ‘just’ anything. Holy shit. You can't destroy yourself in full view of the public and expect people not to take notice. You’re in a school for heroes, woman!”
“Oh, please,” Artemis hissed. “As if you care. We both know you hate my guts. So, what’s this really about, huh? Payback for kicking your arse? Are you so scared that I could beat you again that your only option is to take me out of the competition?”
For a moment, Bakugou just stared at her as he processed the words that had just come out of her mouth. Artemis noticed the vein on his forehead pulsating dangerously, the scent of nitroglycerin filling the air.
“You…” Bakugou's voice trembled as he spoke. “You really… think that's what this is about?”
“What else would it be? I'm sick and tired of everyone trying to baby me. None of you actually care. Just leave me alone!”
Artemis rose to her feet to meet him, her eyes blazing with fury.
“I don't understand what you want from me. Why can't you just let me be? Whatever happens to me is none of your concern.”
“None of my… You fucking dumbass! You almost died. You think that doesn’t affect people?” Bakugou roared. “Goddamnit. You know, I really thought you were smarter than this. You walk around pretending to be better than everyone else, but you can't get it through your skull that none of that matters when you're dead. If you can’t give your best, then why are you even here?” His hands balled into fists. “I dont know what the fuck is going on in that head of yours, but your reckless behaviour is driving me crazy! You think I didn’t notice how you dragged yourself through school the past two weeks? I knew this was going to happen the moment you heard about the Sports Festival.”
Artemis’s rage simmered down to confusion with every word he spat at her. Why was he so concerned? Despite the anger of his words, the look in his eyes was far from hatred. She watched him pace back and forth as he voiced his frustration.
“For fuck’s sake!” Bakugou stopped suddenly and ran his fingers through his hair. “You're so infuriating. I dont know what the fuck you went through to make you care so little about your own life, but I will not stand here and watch until someone has to bury your arse. If you’re incapable of keeping yourself alive, so help me God, I'll kick your arse until you learn.”
And that's when it clicked in her head. Bakugou didn't hate her. Artemis stared at him. Her mouth opened to speak, but she didn't find the right words to say. He cared. Katsuki Bakugou actually cared.
Artemis’s heart started to race. The realisation hit her like a sledgehammer to the head. No-one had ever cared whether she lived or died. No-one had ever been willing to fight for her or make an effort to keep her alive.
“You… care?” She asked in a hoarse whisper. “Whether I live or die… You care about that?”
Her heart was pounding so fast she was sure Bakugou could hear it. At her question, he turned to stare at her in disbelief.
“Did you not listen to what I just said?” Bakugou strode towards her and grabbed her by her shoulders. He shook her more gently than she’d been anticipating. “Of course I fucking care!”
Artemis didn't know what to say to that. No-one in her life had ever said something like that to her. And she knew Bakugou wasn't lying. She could read it in his heartbeat.
Bakugou had trusted her with his life in the USJ. He’d carried her to  safety when her own body had given out. And here he was, trying to keep her safe again.
Artemis should have been angry. She should have pushed him away and told him to mind his own business. But the happiness that bubbled up in her was intoxicating.
Before she could stop herself, Artemis leaned forward, grabbed Bakugou by his jacket and pressed her lips to his.
Bakugou froze under her touch. Artemis didn't quite know what she was doing herself, but before she could pull back, his arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer, his eyes falling shut.
The scent of burned sugar filled her senses, clouding her mind in a way she’d never experienced before. Artemis released the fabric of his jacket to snake her arms around his neck.
Before she could do anything more, the sound of approaching footsteps made both of them freeze. They broke apart breathlessly.
Artemis looked up at Bakugou and recognised the same stunned confusion that she felt. Her cheeks started to burn, the heat spreading from her cheeks to her ears as she realised what she… they… had just done.
“Fuck,” she whispered.
Aizawa's muffled voice sounded dangerously close through the door. Bakugou's eyes widened. She opened her mouth to speak, but found herself being tossed back onto the bed. The next second, Bakugou was standing as far away from her as he possibly could.
Artemis didn't mind that at all. Her heart was beating so fast in her chest she was almost afraid it would jump out. What the hell had just happened?

Summary: Riida stumbles upon Deku and his muscles.
A/N: Here we are, the first part of my Deku x Reader/Riida fic. I’m a bit nervous about sharing this so please be gentle LOL. Part 2 is out on my Patreon early if you want to support me there and check it out!
====
There he was in the middle of the shared kitchen and living room space.
"Oh hey," the famous hero named Deku greeted cheerfully. He was doing press ups with arms that were very toned. Very muscular too. And very sweaty. "Don't mind me, just doing my early morning workout," he chirped happily.
And there you were in the doorway. In dishevelled, baggy pjs that made your figure look lumpy, and your hair in disarray like a drawing gone wrong.
"Okay," you quipped and you whipped your stiff legs to the kitchen in order to hide your sorry state.
You couldn't believe it. Two days ago you had moved into this two-room apartment for work, having the whole place to yourself. The landlady had told you that there would be another person coming to rent the other room. You hadn't expected it to be this soon though, much less by the No.1 Hero, of all people.
You wondered if this was a dream. After all this was your favourite hero in the same apartment as you. Somehow you managed to make breakfast and sit down to eat it, focusing entirely on taking big chunks out of your toast instead of the hot sweaty man on the floor grunting in front of you.
“So what’s your name?” asked Deku in the middle of his reps.
You answered him.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Deku," he replied with a smile. "I just moved in last night. I hope I wasn’t too noisy."
Deku got up and announced he was going to take a shower. “I hope we get to know each other over the coming days!” he said brightly before turning to go to his room, leaving a trail of metaphorical sparkles in his wake.
You went to work that morning in a daze.
---
The next morning he was there again, doing sweaty press ups. Only this time he was topless, save for a white towel around his neck.
"Good morning!" he greeted enthusiastically, acting completely at home even though you had only just met yesterday.
"Good morning," you mumbled before scurrying to the kitchen. You felt coffee wouldn't be necessary after that sight. It was one thing to find out you were sharing an apartment with Deku, certainly another to find him half naked in the living room. Was this something you were going to have to get used to? Would you have to face his bare chest and abs every day?
"What you having for breakfast today?" asked Deku, completely unaware of your inner turmoil.
"Uh..." Your mind searched for some meaningful answer. You opened the fridge for inspiration. "Bacon and eggs," you said.
"Sounds yummy!"
Yummy.
The way he said that was so cute and now it was all you could think about as you cooked, ultimately serving as your distraction as you burnt your bacon and eggs, and your toast came out more brown than you would have liked. Even the orange juice you poured ended missing the target completely, landing on the counter instead of in your glass.
You heaved a heavy sigh.
"Everything alright?" Deku piped up like a curious meerkat standing up.
"Everything's fine," you squeaked, scrubbing up your spillage quickly.
“Need a hand?”
Deku’s voice was suddenly a lot closer and you found him leaning against the counter, just inches away. You yelped.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to spook you,” Deku laughed, “but you looked like you were having trouble just now.”
“Oh-- Well-- It’s fine. Everything’s fine. Just one of those mornings, yknow?” You tried to laugh it off even though the proximity of Deku’s pecs was making you nervous.
“Okay. I’ll leave you to it,” said Deku. “But don’t hesitate if you need any help!” He beamed at you before leaving to go to his room.
After he went, you sighed and slumped on the counter in relief. You weren’t sure how many more topless Deku mornings you could handle before you died.
---
"So what's your quirk?"
Deku was moving his arms and turning his body in a very focused manner. He looked like he was doing tai chi. Fortunately he was wearing a hoodie this time to cover up his upper body. Unfortunately his legs were on show, thanks to his shorts, and they were very chiseled and very determined to get you hot under the collar if you stared too long.
"I can see infrared and ultraviolet waves," you answered, sipping your tea too quickly and burning your mouth. You covered your face up so your pained expression wouldn’t be noticed.
"Oh? What does that look like?" Deku asked, interest piqued.
"Well," you said, after you recovered a little, "infrared looks like a reddish glow around things that emit heat. Ultraviolet by itself is like a white-blue or white-violet sort of colour. But it actually makes things look different? It gives more colour and more contrast. If that makes sense."
Deku nodded, making humming noises. "Interesting. Do you use it in your line of work?" He stretched out his leg high in a kicking stance, the shorts riding down to reveal more of his thigh. You took a very deep breath.
"Not really," you answered, trying not to visibly sweat, "I just do a simple office job. It's not a very useful quirk actually. It makes everything look rather overwhelming when I turn it on."
"I see," said Deku, moving into another stance and thankfully putting his leg down. He started rambling about all the ways your quirk could be useful in rescue situations for detecting missing people trapped under rubble or seeing through walls during recon missions. You listened dutifully, gradually pulled into his words.
It was something you genuinely liked about Deku. All his ramblings, though he sometimes got carried away in interviews, made for an interesting listen. They showed just how knowledgeable he was, especially where quirks were concerned. Sometimes he went into very complex things which you didn’t understand but you didn’t mind it at all. It was a joy to listen to him.
“You’re smiling.”
“Huh? Yes?”
“What are you smiling about?” Deku asked, pausing in his stance.
“Oh, nothing! Just… I think it’s nice to hear you being so passionate about your interests,” you answered sheepishly.
Deku chuckled and resumed his movements. “I’m glad. Usually people just get annoyed or look at me funny when I go off on my ramblings."
"Oh. Well. I don't think it's annoying."
Deku gave you a big grin as he said, "That makes me happy to hear! You’re such a nice person. And you have a nice smile, by the way.”
You blushed and thanked him. You were sure you would take his compliment to the grave.

Bora Han BNHA crossover mixed with body guard au.
Just picture aizawa telling todoroki, Bakugou, and deku that they will be working as body guards together (the whole class is paired off into groups of 3 for each body guard job) and they are assigned the task of being bodyguards for the adoptive daughter of jumin han, bora han. Bora is quirkless and has had multiple kidnapping attempts and recently was abducted by the lov.
Bakugou has already met bora during his time in the lov basement as a captive, but he is wondering how she is doing. Meeting a person in that type of situation is bound to leave a lasting impression. So imagine his shock, when him and the other two first reach the penthouse and sees bora climbing on top of a rolling chair to reach the top shelf.
“Are you dumb! You could get hurt!” Bakugou scolds the petite girl as he grabs her, pulling her off of the chair.
“Hey, you’re the Pomeranian from the lov basement, “ she says with a smile causing both todoroki and deku to laugh.
“ hi, I’m bora han, I’m very sorry, I told dad that I didn’t need bodyguards but he is very paranoid after everything that has happened. I’ll make sure to stay out of your way.” She says bowing.
Shouto had read up on her files, but seeing her in person is very different, she is smaller than he imagined, but that could be because of her outfit. Baggy pants, baggy hoodie, and a cat that she is constantly holding or is on her shoulders.
“ my name is shouto Todoroki, I am in class 1-a in U.A. My father is Endeavor, number one hero but to be honest I’ve never liked him,”
“And I’m izuku midoryia, we are all in ua,” the green hairs boy says. He kinda reminds bora of a puppy.
“It’s nice to meet all of you. “ she said to them.
The next two weeks were really slow, bora doesn’t leave the penthouse much and it seems like she doesn’t have any friends her age. She does online school and goes to sleep early. At least that’s what they thought.
It’s around 1 am when deku wakes up to use the bathroom, their rooms are right next to bora’s bed room so he decides to check up on her. But when he opens the door he doesn’t see her. He sees the fire escape window have no lock in it either.
“Oh shit!” He says before running into the shared bedroom, waking everyone up in a panic.
“What the hell deku!” Bakugou asks angrily.
“She’s gone! I went in to check on her and she’s gone! I can’t find her!” Izuku says as the three boys run into her room to find it completely empty.
“Fuck! “ Bakugou says checking the fire escape, it doesn’t look like anything is broken and there seem to be no signs of struggle.
“Bakugou, midoryia, there is a note,” todoroki says, picking up the piece of paper.
“I’m fine, went out for a breath of fresh air,”
“ I swear I’m gonna kill her!” Bakugou says heading out the fire escape, “one of you stay behind i case she comes back” he runs out the fires escape, and midoryia follows.
Todoroki sits down on her bed and takes out his phone. Clicking on bora’s contact he begins to call her.
“Hello?” Bora says, wondering why he is up so late.
“Are you being kidnapped?” Todoroki asks.
“No, why?”
“Because you’re not here and it is 1 am.”
“ I’ll start heading back now, does anyone else know I’m out?”
“Yes, Bakugou and midoryia. “
In the background bora can hear the familiar shouts of Bakugou, and they’re getting closer.
“I found Bakugou. I’ll be home soon,” bora says before hanging up.
Todoroki looks next to him and sees Elizabeth the third,”hello Elizabeth the third, my name is shouto Todoroki, I am in class 1-a in U.A. My father is Endeavor, number one hero but to be honest I’ve never liked him,”
To that Elizabeth just meowed and curled up on bora’s pillow.
Bora is currently being carried home like a football by Bakugou, she is clinging onto him for dear life. Heights have never been her strong suit, especially when she’s being carried by a very angry Pomeranian.
Landing in her balcony Bakugou carried her into her bedroom, then puts her down.
“What the hell were you thinking dumbass! Do you know how dangerous it is to wander off at night!” Bakugou begins to scold.
“I’m fine, look I’m in one piece. It’s not like I haven’t done it before,”
“What? YOUVE DONE THAT BEFORE!” Bakugou asks, by now midoryia had come back and is there in case it gets taken too far.
“Yeah, almost every night. “ bora says as deku face palms. That wasn’t a good move and Bakugou is just getting more angry.
“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SNEAKING OUT ALMOST EVERY NIGHT!”
“I get nightmares, and the cold air helps me.” She says softly, wrapping her arms around her body, almost giving herself a hug.
“Kachan, let’s talk about it tomorrow. Bora get some rest. One of us will stay in your room from now on. We are gonna talk it out tomorrow. “
Deku and Bakugou leave the room, leaving a shaken up bora and Todoroki alone together.
“I don’t see many people hold their ground with Bakugou, you’re very impressive.” Todoroki says trying to make bora feel better. “I might not be the best at comforting others, but I’m here if you need me.” He says patting bora’s head as bora smile sadly.
Thank you for sharing this with me because all you did was present the idea that Shouto would talk to Elizabeth the 3rd politely. We've seen him drawn with cats before too so this just kind of cements that idea. He thinks they're neat. Bora is just... occasionally a heathen. There is definitely potential with this AU and I could actually flesh those out until picker concept! I have BNHA OCs that haven't been used in a while that could be her friends too, lmao.
Bakugou just grabs her by the hoodie when she tries to hop out a window onto a fire escape and she can't kick out because she's so heckin tiny. I can't say that Deku or Shouto could save her from his exhaustion on the situation. He has no mercy.
Props for making me laugh.

Tumblr media
A nice summer breeze blew past Ren, caressing his soft skin and ruffling up his light blue hair. He had a moment of peace under the night sky decorated with bright stars. He took in a deep breath but immediately wrinkled his nose. A handful of ash had filled his lungs. The smell of burnt wood made him want to puke. His body reacted to the atmosphere and he shivered. Something was wrong.
Without a destination in mind Ren started to run. He knew he had to go somewhere , help someone. But the whom of it had slipped his mind entirely. Ren clenched his teeth. Pained screams reaching his ears from every direction, his legs finally stilled. He frantically looked around trying to understand where the noise was coming from.
He felt as he couldn’t breathe, his mouth wide open he tried to take in a deep breaths only to find that his mouth was filling up with endless ash instead. Falling to his knees, he tried to spit out the material. His hands found his throat, he couldn't breathe, he had to breathe. Digging his nails in to his flesh, He scratched his neck.
His body erupted into a coughing fit, tears stung his eyes. His coughing never ended and he felt as someone had reached down into his throat and started to drag a knife across it. His lungs burned. Before losing consciousness, he saw a set of feet walking towards him. He wanted to get away, he needed to get away. With a dry throat, he tried to call out to Bakugou but only a pathetic whine came out of his parched lips.
                                     »»————- ♡ ————-««
Ren’s eyes shot open and his whole body jerked up. Breathing heavily, his hand went to his bedside table, his fingers trembling as he searched for the light switch. Ren calmed down a bit when the light illuminated the dark room, his shadow casting on the wall.
His chest was still heaving up and down. Pulling the sheets off of him, he went to the window. Ren clicked his tongue , annoyed to see that his hands were still shaking. Opening the window, he saw that the sun was slowly starting to shine upon the city.  He took in a couple of deep breaths, happy that his lungs were filling with that sweet fresh morning air.
Leaving the window open, he went to sit on the bed. How many more times was he going to be woken up by nightmares. Smacking his dry lips together, his eyes landed on his empty water bottle. Ren groaned as he stood up, letting his feet guide him to the kitchen, he let his thoughts wander.
Two days later and it would been a year since the summer camp incident. A year and he was still seeing nightmares. After that ,all of them had faced many dangers, much worse dangers if he might add, yet still he was seeing nightmares like a child. A lot of people would argue that it was quite normal to see nightmares about such an incident , even if a year might’ve passed but Ren didn’t want it to be normal, he just wanted it to stop. Nobody else was seeing nightmares so why should he?
The worst part was that some of his classmates were noticing that Ren wasn’t acting quite like himself lately. Honestly, that was the only reason he tried to sleep last night. For a while, he had stocked up on coffee and energy drinks so that he could stay up. But when he arrived to class with bloodshot eyes and dark bags under his eyes , there were two theories swimming around the classroom. Ren was either doing drugs or wasn’t sleeping. The latter being the obvious true reason. Bakugou was especially suspicious by this since he knew how much Ren loved to sleep, he loved it so much, in fact, he usually slept until the last minute. This would either end up in him attending class with his pajamas or being late to class. Needless to say Aizawa wasn’t thrilled to see Ren’s pink polka dot pajamas first thing in the morning.
“Are you going to open the fridge?”
Ren flinched at the sudden but familiar voice. He snapped out of his daunting thoughts only to find his hand gripped, around the handle of the fridge, his knuckles white from squeezing too hard. He relaxed his hand and opened the fridge. His warm body welcomed the cold air with open arms. Getting a bottle of ice cold water, he turned to see Bakugou staring at him with an eyebrow raised.
Ren opened the bottle and replied with a confused look of his own.
“What?”
“Why are you up at this hour? It’s way too early.”
Ren shrugged. He knew well that Bakugou was quite suspicious of his current behavior. Ren didn’t want to worry his childhood friend. Avoiding Bakugou’s gaze, he took a couple of big gulps from the bottle. At the same time Ren tried to think of an excuse that he would buy. Why would Ren be awake at such an hour? His lips slightly twitched up when he thought of the perfect excuse. The smirk was so tiny that not even Bakugou could notice.
“I had to go to the bathroom. My stomach hurts.”
Bakugou’s eyes gazed upon Ren’s features. Ren tried hard not to give anything away, his heart beating loudly in his chest. He mentally took in a deep breath when Bakugou sighed and crossed his arms in front of him.
“I feel like you’re bulshitting me.”
“Me? Bulshitting you? Never.”
Ren snickered when he glared at him.
“I’ll kick you.” he said with a small pout on his lips.
Ren’s smirk turned in to a soft smile. He loved seeing the usually super aggressive Bakugou Bakugou pouting, he acted like a literal child at times. But despite everything Ren was happy that his excuse, somewhat , worked. He knew if Bakugou caught him acting suspicious again that there would be no getting away from his interrogation.
Ren, still holding the bottle, crossed his arms in front of him. His thumb going in circles on his own flushed skin in a soothing mater. Now, focusing his eyes on the floor Ren tried to avoid the blond’s heated gaze.
Bakugou noticed this but didn’t say a word.
“Why are you up?” Ren asked , eager to change the subject.
“I’m going to work out a bit, get the juices flowing. You know, with today’s lesson and all.”
“What lesson?”
“Weren’t you listening to Aizawa?” Ren gave him a confused look and he rolled his eyes. “You’re such a dumbass. We’re going to do training exercises at USJ and Thirteen is going to teach us how to use our surroundings and all that shit.”
“Oh?”
“I think they’re going to pair us in hero and villain groups again, like All Might did in our first year.”
“Sounds fun.” Ren replied nonchalantly.
Ren didn’t think much of it at the time. Finishing his bottle of water, he decided to workout alongside Bakugou. Working out usually took his mind off of things and being with Bakugou always cheered him up, making him forget the lurking darkness that his nightmares held.
                                     »»————- ♡ ————-««
Ren always felt more at ease in his hero costume. Honestly, he was still surprised that a piece of clothing could cause him so much happiness and sense of security. His gaze landed on his remaining classmates. Bakugou was right, the teachers had divided them into groups and lucky for him he was paired with Bakugou as the “heroes” . A soft smile formed on Ren’s lips when he saw his partner in his hero costume. Ren wasn’t going to lie, he looked good.
Then Ren turned to look at the “villains” which was composed of Todoroki and Kirishima. Thirteen was between the two groups explaining what they were supposed to do and how they should use the environment. The heroes goal was to save the kidnapped victims that were somewhere among the many many trees. The “victims” were Midoriya and Uraraka.
When Thirteen told them to be aware of their surroundings everyone’s eyes gazed upon the area. Both groups were in the mountain zone but Ren didn’t remember it having so many trees and a green scenery. He felt goosebumps on his arms. It eerily looked like the camp they had all been on one year ago. Ren’s heart raced in his chest as his mind went foggy. His eyes frantically continued to scan the area, from afar he could swear he could hear screaming. Ren flinched when he felt a hand on his shoulder
“Let’s go.”
Without saying a word, Ren watched as the so called villains vanished into the forest. Ren licked his lips in hope of wetting the overly dry flesh. He had an awful feeling. Why did this training have to be today? Right after seeing a horrible nightmare and just two days away from the anniversary of the incident. Ren didn’t feel comfortable by this situation at all. The only thing that eased his mind a little was that Bakugou was walking in front of him leading the way. He was a man with a mission and he was searching for clues that the victims might have left.
“Maybe they’re in one of the caves?” Ren spoke up, knowing that Bakugou would start fuming with rage at the lack of clues.
“Maybe,” then he groaned. “Why do I have to be the one to save Deku?”
“Oh don’t be like that Kaachan,” Ren hummed a grin tugging at his lips. “He did save you in real life you might as well fake save him as a thank you.”
“Fine, then after this we’ll be even.”
“I don’t think fake saving him is equal to him actually saving you but whatever makes you sleep better at night.”
Bakugou turned to Ren, rolling his eyes, he crossed his arms in front of him.
“You’re the one that said I should save him as a thank you.”
“That’s literally not even remotely close of what I was try-”
Sound of leaves rustling made Ren jolt up and look around. The air had gotten noticeably warmer. Bakugou, also noticing this ,walked towards Ren and stood next to him. His head was tilted to the side.
“That damn half and half bastard,” he said clicking his tongue with annoyance. “He’s probably trying to keep us away until time runs out.”
Ren could only hear ringing in his ears. His hands clenched into fists as he tried to take in deep breaths. He wasn’t at USJ next to Bakugou anymore, he was in the middle hell. The ground that he stood on trembled and twirled. Loosing his balance, Ren fell on to his knees.
Take in deep breaths, this isn’t real.
As the scent of burnt wood filled his nostrils and the sound of leaves crisping up got louder, Ren felt overwhelmed. He had to breathe, why couldn’t he just breathe?! He tried to take in another deep breath, then another. Ren’s violet eyes widened. The all too familiar taste of ash filling his mouth, tears started to sting his eyes.
He felt his whole body being engulfed in darkness. There was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. The crippling feeling of uselessness washed over him. Pounding his fist against the soil, tears streamed down his face. Parting his lips he tried to scream. But the only thing that came out was a dry cough. The taste of ash mixed with the saltiness of his tears made him want to throw up.
“Pastel !”
His eyes shot open. Ren felt dizzy when he realized that he was in the middle of the forest. Bakugou was on his knees and inch away from him, his hand securely wrapped around Ren’s shoulder. Ren’s hand slowly went to his cheek. Feeling the wetness of his own tears, he looked up to Bakugou who was accompanied with Thirteen and the rest.
“What the hell?!” Bakugou growled.
Ren was used to his outbursts so he didn’t care much do dignify Bakugou with a sensical answer. Instead he turned his gaze to the others. Midoriya especially looked worried.
“What happened?” Ren muttered.
“You screamed then collapsed to the ground.” Midoriya answered, nervously scratching the back of his head.
“You also mumbled something about ash filling your mouth.” Todoroki continued. Ren could tell from his voice that he felt somewhat guilty.
“You two should head to Recovery girl.” Thirteen said.
Ren tilted his head to the side. Confused two why they both had to go. He turned to face Bakugou thinking that maybe he missed something. Much expectedly Bakugou was pouting and not facing him. Ren’s heart sunk down when he noticed blood trickling down from his lips. Before Ren could ask any further questions, Bakugou grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him up. Ren’s legs felt like jell-o and had to use Bakugou as support. Luckily for Ren , for once, he said nothing and complied.
“What-” Ren began when they were out of earshot
“You punched me that’s what.” he grumbled. “Are you going to tell me what the hell is going on with you?”
When they finally exited the USJ building Ren took in a deep breath. He said nothing as he let go of Bakugou’s arm being able to feel his legs returning to normal. Ren didn’t want to have this conversation now, so he basically decided to ignore Bakugou’s nagging. This plan failed miserably when Bakugou held him by the arm and pulled him towards his chest.
“Look,” he grunted. “You either tell me what the hell is going on or I’m not going to let go of this damn arm of yours got it?”
Ren knew that he would do as he said. He rolled his eyes and pointed at the benches that were right across the USJ building.
“Fine,” Ren sighed. “Can we at least sit?”
Bakugou let go of Ren’s arm and followed him as he walked towards the benches. Ren sat down with a groan, still feeling a bit sick after the far too real flashback. The bench creaked when Bakugou took his place next to him.
“I really don’t want to talk about it.” Ren muttered, staring at the USJ building.
“Well you don’t really have a choice.” Bakugou replied. He placed both of his hands behind the back of his head and leaned back, getting comfortable. “I can somewhat let the not sleeping thing go but not this. It…” he took in a deep breath. “It was terrifying to hear you sound so scared.”
Ren lowered his eyes to the ground. He could only imagine how much he had frightened his classmates. Ren knew that he at least owed Bakugou an explanation after his breakdown.
“I,” Ren bit his lip. “I’ve been seeing nightmares about the incident at summer camp. It’s always so realistic and it generally goes the same way, me being too weak to save anyone.”
“You’re not weak…”
“Yeah right,” Ren snorted. “I was useless in that whole situation, what if something happened to you?”
“Nothing happened to me,” Bakugou said. He removed one of his arms that was snug behind his head and hit himself in the chest. “See I’m right here.”
“Well, I know that much.” Ren rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms. “I know it’s stupid, it’s been a year but I have no idea how to make it go away.” Ren sighed, closing his eyes , he slouched over his bruised knees. “I miss sleeping so much.” he sounded like he was on the verge of tears.
“I bet you do,” Bakugou let out a soft chuckle. “But this is a problem. Maybe you should talk about this with one of the teachers?”
“No way, I don’t want anyone to know I’ve been seeing nightmares about something that happened a year ago.” Ren turned to look at him. “I mean we’ve all been through so much worse since then, it’s just so stupid to be hung up about something like this. Promise me you won’t tell anyone.”
Bakugou averted his eyes. He could feel Ren’s never ending gaze on him, Bakugou knew well that he was going to have to cave into Ren’s demands.
“Fine.” he groaned. “But don’t forget that you can come and talk to me anytime.”
“Deal!”
Ren got up as he slapped his hand together. He just wanted this conversation to be over with. He wasn’t planning on bothering anyone about this ever again. The only thing he needed to do was avoid forests and any kind of big fire, that seemed doable.
“I’m serious Ren!”
Without answering him, Ren lead the way towards Recovery Girl’s office knowing that Bakugou would follow him.
                                      »»————- ♡ ————-««
It was the day of the anniversary of the summer camp and Ren was proud to say that nothing extreme had happened like the USJ incident. But he knew well that this was probably because they had tame classes today. Everyone had already gone to bed and Ren was ready to succumb to the mistress of sleep.
Ren was still being haunted by nightmares but he had come up with a system. If he woke up , he would go wash his face, drink some water and listen to some classical music to help him fall back to sleep. It wasn’t the perfect system and really didn’t take care of anything but at least the dark bags under his eyes had slowly started to vanish.
He stretched much like a cat as he went towards his room. Groaning, he opened the door only to be greeted with the smell of marshmallows.
“What the...?”
Ren stepped in to the room, his head cocked to the side. The room was being illuminated with the soft light of multiple candles. Ren could only assume that the source of the delicious smell of marshmallows were these candles. Taking another step towards the bed, he noticed fresh lavenders on the bed side tables. Leaning over, he took a whiff of the flowers. The scent made his lips form a soft smile.
“Apparently lavender is good for sleeping.”
Startled, Ren turned around. Eyes widening , his lips parted , he saw that Bakugou was leaning against the door frame.
“Did you do this?”
“Who else?” Bakugou snorted. “Today is the anniversary right? I didn’t want you to freak out in your sleep.”
Ren giggled and took a step towards his childhood friend, arms crossed in front of him.
“Aww, look at you being a huge softie.”
“You know what,” Bakugou took a step inside. “If you’re going to be like that I’m taking everything back.”
“Okay okay, I’ll shut up.” Ren replied, lifting both hands in defeat. Needless to say he was touched. He didn’t really expect Bakugou to do all of this for him, he really was a brute with a heart of gold. “Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it. I really do hope you can get some well deserved rest.”
Bakugou turned on his heel and suddenly Ren’s smile wavered. He bit his lip, contemplating to call out to Bakugou or not. Ren didn’t want to stay alone, especially not tonight. His hand reaching out, he called out to the blond.
“Wait.”
He stopped just as he almost disappeared through the door. Turning his head, he gave Ren a confused look, his eyebrows raised.
“What?”
“W-Would you,” Ren stuttered, blood raising to his cheeks.“Stay with me tonight?”
Scratching the back of his head, Ren averted his eyes turning them to the hardwood floor. When he heard the door closing behind the blond, Ren finally let go of the breath he hadn’t realized that he had been holding.
Ren felt his eyes starting to water when Bakugou wrapped both arms around him giving him a gentle and reassuring hug.
“I’d be happy to Pastel.”

I dont really think the fandom BNHA has many OC-centric fics. I haven't read one, though there are some where the OC plays a roll a because canon-divergence duh. So I a plot bunny came to me and I have no idea how to write a story because I can only do snippets lol (Was inspired by Katara from Aang the Last Airbender) ... and probably because I wanted a reincarnated!OC HAHA.
Name: Chihiro Fukukai
Quirk: Water Manipulation
Description: A very versatile quirk and can be used for many things
Blood type: O+
Appearance: Deep blue eyes with Blueish-white hair.
Chihiro was many things. But most of all, she's a follower and does not tolerate bullying. So when she transfers to a new school and encounters Midoriya and Bakugou, it does not bode well. She retaliated to teachers whenver they stop her from defendeing the quirkless kid. Bakugou looks really annoyed with her. And now brings her to a certain situation with the freckled kid.
"U-uhm, Thank you for always defending me Ch-chihiro-san"
With the boys' body language, you can tell he was really grateful.
"Its fine. I dont really tolerate bullying. I cant stand it when someone just ignores wrong things that people do. Its annoying."
The other kid looked liked he really wanted to cry. That he did combined with the endless stream of gratitude.
....
A few days passed and Chihiro could tell that Midoriya was antsy. He'd glance at her way and whenever she glances back, he immediately averts his eyes.
And now, comes lunch, Chihiro made his way to Midoriya's table. Promptly making the kid a blubbering mess.
"Midoriya, can you come with me?" after a few curious glances was djrected towards them, the boy made his hurry to be on his way to follow Chihiro.
"Chihiro-san, I-is there something wrong?"
"I should be asking you that. You kept glancing at my way and never spoke up. If you want to say something, say it to my face." She dont cuss. Dealing with bullied people only made them worse.
"I, you-, um, C-can we be friends?!" Midoriya flushed as his voice slightly rose with the last line.
"Sure."
"I really just want to- ... Huh?" Chihiro patted the fluffy mess of hair and repeated herself. It was the start of their really good friendship.
...
"Ne, Midoriya. Why do you kept following Bakugou even though he's like that?"
"K-kacchan is just really kind. I think he's a real good person thats just misunderstood. I mean, he's trying be a hero right? No evil person would want to be one."
"I think he just needs anger managements. Why do you think that though?"
"huh?"
"What you just said."
They stare at each other for a moment, and Midoriya understood.
"Just, before he got his quirk we were really close but then He got an amazing one and I didn't get any. He was praised because he was set to be a hero. While I was here useless and 'deku'. B-but its not really Kacchan's fault."
Midoriya was now fidgeting under the stare of the gjrl and raised his heaf when he heard a loud sigh.
"True, he had an amazing quirk and has conviction, but do you really think he knows what being a hero means? He's just saying what he wants to when he says he'll be number one, but why? A hero is someone who saves others. Not someone who wants to take the top. If you want to be a hero, you won't care about the fame because you'd only want to save and help people. Well, I do get why All Might is cool. Being the symbol of peace and all that, but people tend to forget that heroes get injured too. They aren't invincible. All Might reassures people just by being there, being number 1 and I think that's how katsuki sees it. Which is fine because he's still a kid. But, if he really intend to be a hero he needs to mature and I wont hesitate to tell it to his face.
People needs a hero with pure desire to only help. Just like you. Even if you're quirkless, you have a strong determination and the conviction. You saw how society treats people whom are without quirk or has a low potenial quirk. The world shouldn't just judge peiple because of their quirk but also their resolve. That's what I think is the most important. Which is why I know for sure, that you can exceed thir expectations and be the kind of hero that you want to be, Midoriya."
Chihiro said with a voice so sincere while wiping the tears that was unnoticed by Midoriya until now.
"T-that's... Thank you Chihiro-san no one ever really said those kind of things to me.
Its also the first time I heard you talk really long. Im- Im really moved."
Chihiro handed her handkerchief to him and let the other wipe the stream.
"Well, you need to train if you want to be a hero so badly. You dont think that the heroes didn't really go through that? They would need to of course, in high school at the hero courses but, as someone who wants to be a hero without a quirk, you need to know what can help you to achieve that goal."
...
It was after that long talk, that the two seemed much more closer than before. Midoriya haven't hanged out with Bakugou since that conversation as he was busy.
And so brings Bakuhou to confront Chihiro about the recent changes with the nerd. It starts with Bakugou being the one who is pressing Chihiro but ends like this.
"Do you realky think that a person whose ego is as big as you can be a hero? No wait, that is a wrong thing to say considering Endevor is a a hero, so I'll rephrase it. What is your pride? What do you fight for? Why does everuthing that Izuku do makes you want to know? Why do you have an Inferiority complex? Did you know that there are 80% people in the population who has a quirk so why do you think that you are so perfect just because of your quirk? You need to know and remember in your thick skull that there may be people out ther esomehwere who hates their quirk even though its "perfect", the teachers might be lenient with you behaviour but I will not tolerate it. If I was someone who pointed out the wrongness with you, dont you think there might be more people who will point it out in the future? Dont you think ther emight be more people who wants to be number 1 and has a far stronger quirk than you? But in the end we are all still people. Living beings. Were not invincible. No one is. Not even heroes. You need to know that and remember that."
Bakigou was too stunned to even let his anger take over as he processed the words said.
...
2 years later, nearing the end of middle school, the three of then will have their own encounters.

Hey everyone! Hope you all have enjoyed the previous chapter but if you haven’t read it yet, follow the link.
Previous Chapter
The sketch above is what Koi would look like and be wearing during her entrance exams. Don’t hate on my squiggles x.x
OC: Koiki Inagaki but likes to be called Koi Hair Color: Dark Navy Blue Eye Color: Orange Quirk: Darkness Solidification and Umbrageous
It was about 5am when I woke up for my jog with Katsuki. We have been doing this every morning to build our stamina for the entrance exams for the last 10 months. I offered for Izuku to join us but he said he had his own training going on so i respectfully left him to it focusing on my own. Once we did about 10 miles we took a water break.
“We’re getting better and better each day.” I commented. “Not a surprise. We are more than prepared for the entrance exam.” He agreed as he sipped his water. I couldn’t help but stare at the ground lost in thought. “Hey, why are you frowning?” He asked as he raised a brow in my direction. “What...what if I lose control during the exams?” “Don’t be stupid, you won’t.” “We don’t know that... I mean... this exam will make or break if i become a hero or not. What if...” He grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me into a tight embrace. I hugged back as I sighed taking in his scent. “There is no what ifs. No girlfriend of mine is ever going to fail or lose control. So keep that shit out of your mind.” I sniffled against his chest. It’s moments like this that I treasure Katsuki. He may have rough edges but he always knows how to soften up just enough to comfort me and only me. He pulled us a part and wiped the tear stains away from my face. “Alright enough worrying. Let finish our jog and get back to my place. We have to be at UA for orientation before 9.” I nodded in understanding and we started running back to his place.
We walked hand in hand to UA freshly showered and dressed in our uniform and on time. I noticed that Izuku was already here and walking in front of us as we got closer to the doors. I picked up my pace dragging Katsuki along much to his annoyance.
“Outta our way, Deku!” Katsuki called out. Izuku turned and I waved at him. “Don’t stand in front of me. I’ll kill you.” Karsuki threatened as he walked past. I let go of his hand at this point so I can greet my best friend properly.
“Morning! Let’s do our best.” Izuku stuttered to which my hothead ignored. I sighed. “Don’t worry abut him. How are you this morning? Are you ready?” I asked looking at my Izuku concerned. “Ye..yeah! I’m totally ready and prepared and we are going to do great and.” He said reassuringly as he started to walk away which lead him tripping over himself. I shrieked and threw a shadow below him ready to block his face from hitting the ground when another girl grabbed him as she walked by.
I watched in aww as he was floating as I released my shadow away. She helped him stand and get grounded. “It’s my quirk. I’m sorry for using it without asking first. But it’s be bad luck if you feel, right?” She apologized. Izuku was lost in a daze and I chuckled. “No worries. Thank you for stepping in!” I thanked her smiling in her direction. “Let’s do our best!” She smiled back and waved as she heading into the building. “Let’s do our best!” Izuku just started muttering in shock and embarrassment as I dragged him into the building. When we got to the auditorium where the orientation was held, we took the two seats that Katsuki was saving next to him.
We were greeted by Pro Hero Present Mic as he opened up the orientation. I felt bad for him that nobody was reciprocating the level of energy that he was looking for but I wasn’t going to be a fool to do so. I chuckled as I watched as Izuku was gushing over the loud hero. Katsuki told him to shut up which led me elbowing him in the stomach. “Don’t be mean.” I glared at him as he grunted in pain a little bit.
“After the presentation, you’ll head to the specified battle center, okay?” Present Mic instructed. We took a look at our cards to see which arena we were gonna be in. “In other words, they won’t let you work with your friends, huh?” Katsuki questioned. I looked over to see that he was in arena A. Looking to my other side Izuku was arena B, which left me to see that i was in arena C. “You’re right. Even though our examinee numbers are consecutive, we’re assigned to different battle centers.” Izuku commented in agreement. “Damn, now I can’t crush you.” Katsuki muttered. I sighed annoyed as Izuku sighed in relief.
A student that was a few rows in front of us stood up to ask a question. He started going on a rant about a misprint on the types of robots we would be facing and the reputation of the school before he turned around to face us. “In addition, you over there with the curly hair...you’ve been muttering this whole time, it’s distracting! If you are here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!”
Izuku blushed and apologized as some other students chuckled at his expense. I stood up annoyed. “Mind your business! We’re all overwhelmed with emotions of this exam. If his excitement and knowledge of pro heroes is a minor inconvenience for you that you can’t focus then maybe you should leave.” “I wasn’t speaking to you. Maybe you should not engage in conversation that wasn’t directed towards you. It’s unbecoming for a lady and an embarrassment to your peers.” I was stunned. I was ready to pounce on him as my eyes glowed. Katsuki grabbed me by the waist pulling me back to my seat while Izuku covered my mouth blocking any profanities from escaping.
“Alright, everyone settle down. Examinee Number 7111, thank you for pointing out the extra villain. The fourth type of villain is worth zero points.” We all were confused as he continued to explain and highly recommended that everyone avoided it. “Thank you very much. Please excuse the interruption!” the student bowed and sat back down. “Yeah i bet he’s sorry...asshat.” I muttered annoyed. katsuki chuckled while Izuku patted my shoulder.
Once we were excused, we were ordered to go change and then meet at our appropriate bus to our designated areas. Once I was changed I made my way to the buses. I saw Izuku off to the side lost in thought for a moment. When I got closer to him i tapped his shoulder. He jumped a little but turned towards me. ‘I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to go overboard and make a fool out of myself or you.” He blushed. “Oh... it’s ok. Really it is. You’re always looking out for me. I appreciate it.” He reassured. I pulled him into a tight hug. “You’re going to do great.” He sighed and hugged me back tight. “Thanks. You will too.” We let go of each other and went to our designated buses.
I was getting close to mine when a hand pulled me back causing me to turn and crash my lips against someone else. I blushed heavily as we separated to meet cocky red eyes and a dazzling smirk. “You didn’t think I was going to send you off without a good luck kiss, did you?” I chuckled as I kissed him one more time. “Good luck, Katz.” “Good luck, Koi.” He let me get on my bus and made his way to his.
Once we were at our designation, I started to do some quick breathing exercises to stay calm. When the doors opened, I ran along with everyone else to start destroying robots. At first it started as a few here and there. I observed that due to the large buildings there were various shadows I could work with. I decided to take advantage and travel through the shadows. As I floated in the darkness of the other world I was able to sense where all my openings were as well as where most robots were. I floated to the highest point of the building and flew out into reality. I created large spears surrounding my arms and sliced right into the head of the robot then forced the energy to slice right down the middle until it wasn’t operating.
This action caused a few more to head my way. I created a lasso with my shadow to grab the smallest of the robots and all the energy I could muster to toss it into the others which caused them to separate more to take them one by one. I continued on like this until five minutes has passed and I had over 30 points but who even knows if that is enough. I could feel liquid dripping from my nose and to the ground. Damn it. Am i really overdoing it more than I thought? I still have less than five minutes but it feels like this is going on longer than that. I had think what I can do differently to take these things out without passing out. I saw another robot heading towards me as the other students were taking care of their own. I ran towards it using enough shadow to cover my hands like boxing gloves. I’ll have to use more physical energy than mental to finish. This process took longer to take robots down but it did the job. When time was called I had about 53 points racked up. I sighed relieved that this was over.

Takara Yamada’s Hero Academia Episode 6 [Eijiro Kirishima/OC] [Female!Aizawa/Hizashi]
Hey! So...I guess I went from the last bit of five into six? I am so confused, but I guess that’s just cus it’s 1:00 in the morning and I’m tired. Anyway, here’s the next episode for you all.
Edit: Nevermind! Hardygal helped me figure it out. Now I’ve had some sleep, it was obvious (just some mislabeling), but anyway...
I went back and added a sketch I posted that’s supposed to be the actual design Takara submitted for her Kitsune outfit, if y’all want to look at it before/during/after you read my description. Look for the linked word shortly before the description.
Now for Takara’s Masterlist
I’m gonna tag the usual people: @dailyojiromashirao and @elite-guard-hardygal, but anyone can join, too.
Also, I would love to read Asks with your predictions of what’s to come! Please send em in and I’ll tell you ‘Hot’ or ‘Cold’. Deal? XD
But in all seriousness, please send theories and predictions. I’d really like to hear them!
Now, onto the episode! Hope you all like it!
God Bless and Good day!

“No matter what your intentions are, you would be nothing more than a liability in battle.” Mom growls in a terrified Izuku’s face. “I’m sorry, Midoryia, but with your power, there’s no way someone like you can become a hero.” That does it. Student or no student, I had to do something.
“Mom, enough!” I bark, and it takes several seconds before I realize what I’d called her. Shit.
Guess the cat’s out of the bag now…
Unsurprisingly, everyone was shocked. I sigh, then give Mom an apologetic look. Mom glances at me before turning back to Izuku. “You have the same reckless passion as another overzealous hero I know; one who saved a thousand people by himself and became a legend. But, even with that drive, you’re useless if you can only throw a single punch before breaking down.” She continues. I guess Teacher!Mom really is different.
“Mom!” I snap. “You said yourself; it’s not the Quirk that defines you, it’s how you use it.” I point out. Mom tsks and releases him.
“I’ve returned your impractical Quirk. Take your throw.” She says. “And, Takara, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t act as my daughter in class from here on, alright?” I nod.
“I know. It just slipped out.” I murmur meekly. “Sorry.” She pats my shoulder.
“Try not to let it slip out again and we’re good.” She says, resuming her place observing the others, putting in eye drops as she waits for Izuku to throw the ball. I drag my feet back to the others as Izuku retrieves the ball. Mom hadn’t counted his first throw to prove a point. Now, it would factor into his placement on this overall test. He needs a good score!
“You didn’t tell me both your parents were teachers.” Eijiro mutters. I deflate, wanting to sink into the ground and disappear.
“You didn’t ask.” I mumble. It was a classic excuse, but it was accurate. He hadn’t outright asked, and I didn’t want his impression (and the impressions of my classmates) framed by my parents. I wanted to make my own impression and let them decide who I really was.
“Oh. Sorry.” He says, apparently seeing my discomfort. “I think it’s cool, Takara. Really.” I smile.
“Thanks.” Izuku then takes a step back, holding the ball ready. I turn my head and watch as he launches it, a strange glow in his arm. I swallow. What was he doing?
“Smmaaaash!” Izuku roars, and the ball goes flying, just like with Katsuki.
705.3 meters the robot recited. I blink. Holy shit! He used just his finger to power the ball so he could still compete! “It’s just like your daughter said, Mrs. Aizawa; it’s how you use your Quirk, not what the Quirk is.” He says. “And, well...I’m still standing!” I laugh, unable to resist clapping. It seems everyone is thoroughly distracted from my slip-up and I’m fine with that.
“He threw it over 700 meters?!” The blonde-black streak boy exclaims.
“Dude, why are you surprised? You heard he took out the 0-pointer all by himself, right?” I point out. He blinks.
“Oh, yeah! Guess you’re right.” He admits, grinning.
“Nice!” Ochaco cheers. “He’s finally showing us his true power!”
“But his finger appears to be broken.” Tenya counters. “Just like in the exam. His Quirk is very odd.” I shrug. I knew what the deal was, but couldn’t say it aloud.
“Well, most Quirks have a drawback, right? This is just his drawback.” I muse instead.
“I suppose.” He replies thoughtfully, holding his chin. He then turns to me. “By the way, I can see why you didn’t tell anyone Mrs. Yamada and her husband were your parents. It can change people’s perceptions of you.” I wasn’t sure why he chose to say that now of all times, but I smile, happy he understood and wasn’t upset.
“Yeah...sorry. I just never really said anything unless directly asked. I didn’t mean to call her ‘mom’.” I reply. Before Tenya can respond, Katsuki tears forward, roaring angrily.
“Hey! Deku, you bastard! Tell me how you did that or you’re dead!” I sprint forward, stopping at Mom’s outstretched hand. Izuku can only scream in terror as Mom’s capture weapon lurches forward, snapping around Katsuki’s chest and forehead. “What the- -why the hell is your damn scarf...so strong?!” He growls, struggling to get away and reach Izuku.
“Because it’s a capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special metal alloy.” Mom replies easily, keeping Katsuki still, glaring at him. “Stand down!” She barks, furious. “It’d be wise to avoid making me use my Quirk so much;” She continues, “it gives me serious dry eye!” When Katsuki appears to obey, Mom releases him, sighing as her hair flops back down over her eyes. “You’re wasting my time now. Whoever’s next can step up.” Izuku walks timidly past Katsuki, who simply stands there, shaking (with what, I can’t tell. Rage? Confusion?), and rejoins us.
“Is your finger okay?” Ochaco asks when Izuku arrives.
“Sure.” He replies. “Fine.” Mom snaps at us and we continue the throwing test. Soon enough, it’s on to sit-ups. As many as we could do in 5 minutes.
Eijiro asked if I’d be his partner and I agreed. It seemed to take forever, but I ended up with a good score. 213, thanks to using the water as a springboard. Then, it was Eijiro’s turn. He got about 170 in, and seemed deflated, so I grin.
“Awesome job!” He sighs.
“But you got almost 50 more situps in then I did.” I shrug.
“Eijiro, you still did really good! This is a test not a lot of Quirks will help with. Mine only got me a little extra spring. That’s all. Your score is really impressive!” I assure him. He nods.
“If you say so.” It was a common response of his when he felt I did a lot better than him at something and I tried to tell him he did amazing, too. I wondered just what made him so certain he wasn’t that great, but I was determined to prove him wrong.
“I do say so, so you better believe it!” I reply before Mom calls out that we’re moving on to the Seated Toe Touch test.
There wasn’t much my Quirk could do to help, so I got a fairly average score. In fact, hardly anyone’s Quirks were suited for simply stretching over and trying to touch your toes.
Once we were all done, Mom led us to the large recreational area where we’d done the ball throw. The next test was the Long Distance Run, Mom announced. I smirk confidently.
Naturally, Tenya would most likely get first, but I could get a good placing, I just know it! It was a mile race, and I ended up in fifth place! Eijiro wasn’t far behind me, coming in seventh, a blonde-haired boy with a tail between us. I bent over, panting, before the boy came over. “Nice race!” He says, smiling. I straighten and shake his hand.
“Thanks.”
“I’m Ojiro Mashairo.” He introduces.
“I’m guessing you already know my name, huh?” I mumble, scratching the back of my neck. He nods.
“Yeah, and I get why you didn’t want to tell us just yet.” I smile.
“Thanks. I probably should have just told you my last name at first, then let you all figure it out, but I decided I wanted to have my first impression be as Takara, not Present Mic and Eraserhead’s kid.” I explain. Ojiro nods.
“I get that.” I grin, then Mom calls us together.
“Alright, time to give you your results. I’ve ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already. I’ll just pull up the whole list; it’s not worth going over each individual score.” And so she does; I find my name in the 9th slot, between Eijiro and Mina, and grimace. Not as good as I wanted, but not bad, either, I guess. Mom glances at me, a tiny smirk on her face and I feel better. She thought I did good. That was enough. I then continue reading the list and- -shit! Izuku’s in last place! I look over and he’s shaking, devastated. I bite my lip. There wasn’t anything I could do. He’d be sent home. He’d be expelled. He looked down, gripping his wrist like it would keep him together and prevent him from breaking down. Just as I begin pivoting to walk over, the scores are retracted and Mom chuckles. “And I was lying; no one’s going home.” My heart skips a beat. Wait, what?! “That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests.” She explains. She’d never done that with me! It was totally new!
“I’m surprised the rest of you didn’t figure that out.” A girl with long black hair muses. “I’m sorry; guess I probably should have said something.” We all look at her in various degrees of ‘duh’.
“How would we have figured that out?” I grumble under my breath. The straight-black-haired boy turns to Eijiro.
“That was pretty nerve-wracking, huh?” He muses.
“Nah. I’ll always down for a challenge!” Eijiro replies, eyes glinting and fist clenched in determination.
“That’s it for today.” Mom says. “Pick up a syllabus in the classroom, read it over before tomorrow. Midoriya,” She hands him a note. “take this and have the old lady look you over. Things‘ll be more difficult once your actual training begins.” She warns, then puts a hand on my shoulder. “Make sure you’re prepared. Come on, Takara. We have to find Hizashi.” I nod, waving goodbye and following Mom. “It was interesting that you didn’t tell people who you are right off the bat.” She muses. I gulp. Would she be upset? Today, Mom had acted so different than she normally did, I can’t tell how she’d react anymore.
“We-well, I wanted to make the first impression of myself as Takara, not as Present Mic and Eraserhead’s daughter.” I mumble, fiddling with my fingers nervously.
“Huh.” She replies vaguely, expression unreadable. “So it’s a mix, then, of both of us.” She muses, but before I can respond to that, I spot Toshin-Oji standing there like he’d been looking in on us for a while.
“Aizawa, that was a rotten move.” He grumbles. So he had been watching. Why? To see what Izuku would do?
“All Might.” Mom replies casually. “So, you were watching. No talk shows today?”
“Mom, he doesn’t do that many talk shows.” I point out.
“That’s beside the point.” Toshin-Oji replies, eyes never leaving Mom. “A ‘rational deception’? That’s cute, but you’re not exactly known for being light-hearted.” I raise a brow. Why was he so mad? Because Izuku could have been expelled? “I read your file; last year, you expelled an entire class of freshman students. You have no problem kicking students out; anyone you deem unworthy.” I blink several times. Guess there was a reason Mom didn’t take work home. She was so different at UA versus at home, I almost don’t recognize her. “You were planning to send last place home.” I swallow. Mom wouldn’t really do that...would she? “So, that must mean you see the same potential in young Midoriya that I do!” Mom raises a brow, then turns to All Might.
“What’s this about?” She asks. “It almost sounds like you’ve been in his corner the whole time. And Takara, as well, though I suppose that’s because she was with him during the sludge villain attack.” Toshin-Oji flinches, but doesn’t reply.
“Mom, please.” I mumble.
“Regardless, isn’t it a little early for you to be playing favorites?” Mom asks coyly, like I hadn’t said anything. She then starts walking again. “Midoriya doesn’t have zero potential, I admit.” She adds. “If that were the case, I would have sent him home after class without hesitation.” I swallow. Would she really? She sighs. “It’s cruel to let a kid keep dreaming of something that will never come true.” I frown, but wave goodbye to Toshin-Oji and jog back to Mom.
“Mom, Izuku’s gonna become a hero. He won’t give up.” She smiles.
“I don’t expect him to, Takara. But I won’t make it easier for him, either. I’ll treat him like I would any other student. Everyone was under the same pressure in those tests and they all showed their potential today. I didn’t see any reasons for expulsion.” I nod and smile. This was closer to the Mom I knew at home. We walk to the teacher’s lounge and find Dad sleeping on a table. I chuckle and run my fingers up his ribs.
“Dad, there’s a spider!” I exclaim. He leaps up, screaming and patting himself down, but then notices that I’m laughing and calms.
“That’s not funny, TIk-Tik. Hey, Shota.” He says, yawning and kissing Mom. “Running the orientation was no easy task.” He muses, rubbing his eyes. Mom chuckles.
“I bet. Nor was managing 21 kids. How about we grab coffee on the way home?” Dad instantly perks up.
“That sounds awesome!” He says. I find myself craving coffee, too. I’d used my Quirk a lot. It took its toll. But maybe I just need food. After all, there wasn’t much time for lunch while the tests were underway, for me at least. I yawn and Mom frowns.
“We need to get you food, too. You’re ready to pass out.” She muses, smiling at me and offering support. I nod, rubbing my eyes and leaning on her.
The true downside of my Quirk, we’d discovered, was that it took blood sugar to activate my mental control of water and earth, and since earth was stubborn and hard, it cost a lot more. “You know, your classmates are pretty cool, from what I saw.” Dad points out, yawning and leading the way to the cafeteria, labeled Lunch Rush (like the hero? Cool!). “If you want to invite them over sometime, I wouldn’t say no.” I pause, mulling it over. I didn’t know them yet. But maybe after getting to know them, I would.
“I’ll keep it in mind.” I reply, side-hugging Dad as we walk to the cafeteria.
=#=#=#=#=
“Alright, alright, alright!” Dad exclaims, seeing everyone seated and ready for the English lesson. “Before we get started, listeners, I have a special shout-out to give.” I pale, freezing in terror. He wouldn’t...
Would he? “Most of you know my amazing daughter already from yesterday’s performance for the Quirk Assessment Test, but I wanna formally introduce her! Tik-Tak, c’mon up here!” I am so red and flustered, I can only shake my head, slumping onto the desk as several chuckles ring the room. I hide my face in my arms. “Ah, well, she’s shy.” Dad acknowledges a moment later, and I swear his voice has a twinge of regret before he seems to revert to his normal self. “So, let’s move along to the rockin’ lesson I have for you all!”
Thankfully, the other teachers didn’t seem intent on embarrassing me in front of my class, and before I know it, it was finally time for Hero Basic Training. “I hear Hizashi felt the need for a ‘shout out’ in his class.” Toshin-Oji muses, in his thin form. I’d arrived early, sulking at Mom’s desk until he spoke.
“Yeah. He even called me Tik-Tak!” I grumble.
“He loves you and probably couldn’t contain himself.” I sigh, deflating.
“I know, but...I just don’t like being put on the spot like that. Everyone laughed at me!”
“Not everyone’s nickname is a candy.” Toshin-Oji retorts wryly. I swat at his arm.
“Not helping!” I protest. Eijiro then walks in.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” He asks, setting his bag down and walking over. I sigh.
“Just Dad’s ‘shout out’ in English.” Eijiro smiles.
“Well, I think it was pretty typical of a dad to brag about their kid.” I sigh.
“I guess you’re right.” I turn to Toshin-Oji. “Do you have to get back to work, Toshin-Oji?” I ask as Katsuki sulks in, glaring at us as he claims the desk he’s used since yesterday. Like anyone was stupid enough to confuse his desk for theirs.
Toshin-Oji smiles gratefully for my excuse for his exit to change and become All Might (Dad told me Mom was letting my uncle sub for her class today as something came up at her agency). “Ah, yes. Thank you. I’ll see you later, Takara.” He says, waving from the door. I wave back as he leaves and more of my classmates arrive.
“Afternoon, Yamada.” Tenya says, seating himself and waiting for class to start. I nod, smiling.
“Hey, what’s with the last name?” I tease. “Told yah to call me Takara.”
“Ah, yes. Sorry.” I shrug.
“S’all good.” Soon enough, we’re all seated and waiting for All Might. He arrives moments later.
“I am...here! Coming through the door like a hero!” He exclaims, in a kinda weird pose, grinning and in general being overdramatic. He strides to the podium as we all chatter excitedly.
“So he is a teacher!” Eijiro exclaims. “This year is gonna be totally awesome!”
I grin. “Right?!” A girl with dark green hair behind Eijiro looks at his costume.
“Is that his silver age costume?” She asks. I tilt my head.
“I think so.” I reply.
“I’m getting goosebumps! It’s so retro!” The boy with a tail (Oshio? Maybe?) murmurs.
“Welcome to the most important class at UA High; think of it as Hero-ing 101!” All Might begins. “Here, you will learn the basics of being a pro, and what it means to fight in the name of good!” He strikes a pose and reveals a card that says ‘Battle’. “Let’s get to it! Today’s lesson will pull no punches!” I flinch. Were they serious? Were we really gonna fight each other?
“Fight training!” Katsuki exclaims, an unusual amount of glee in his voice.
“Real combat?” Izuku mumbles nervously, and I find that a much more realistic and appropriate reaction.
“No way...” I whimper.
“And one of the keys of being a hero iiisss...looking good!” Toshin-Oji calls like we hadn’t said anything and points to the back wall. There were rectangular slots that opened up and out came racks of numbered cases. “These were designed for you based on your Quirk Registration Forms and the request you sent in before school started.” All Might explains. Everyone cheers excitedly. I wondered how they’d react to my choice of a fox-themed outfit. For some reason, that was all I could think of when I sat down to design a hero outfit. I’d even thought of my hero name to go with the outfit; The Elemental Heroine, Kitsune! It was what I wanted, and Mom and Dad were fine with it, so I submitted the Kitsune design and didn’t regret it. I move and grab the case with the number of my desk and follow All Might’s instruction to ‘get suited up’ in the changing room.
I open it and pull out the black bodysuit first. I go to a curtained room and get changed into it. It was almost skin-tight, but not quite, like I asked. I was surprised at how breathable and light the fabric was, but it also felt sturdy and reliable. I then pull out the orange half-sleeved overcoat. It covered from my chest to my hips, dropping behind me in a kind of tail, with a Mandarin neckline and zipper down my chest. I clipped my slate grey belt (with spaces for water or snacks to boost my blood sugar on the go) on and it fits perfectly. I then put my boots on. They were a sunset orange, like the overcoat, almost knee-high, and came with knee pads tucked into them to save space. The soles of the boots weren’t overly thick and heavy, with small spikes to provide traction. With the boots on, all that was left was my headgear and gloves. The headgear was tied at the back of my head, and was also sunset orange, with orange fox ears coming off the sides of my head, fading to black at the tips. The gloves’ fingers were black, and the rest was the orange of the rest of my suit. I tried a few poses, and it felt great!
“Wow!” I hear Mina exclaim from behind me. “That looks great on you, girl, but...I thought your Quirk was water?” I grin.
“Water and earth, actually. Earth’s just a lot harder to control, so I use it to track vibrations. Also, I really like foxes and wolves, so I crafted an outfit to match.” I explain. Ochaco grins. She has a black bodysuit, too, but it looks tighter than mine. She has a cute pink and white belt and a simple white design over her chest. There were bracelets over her wrists and her boots had a rounded, almost balloon-look to them, going all the way to her knee with a bit of heel. It was a simple costume and she had a visor to protect her face. All in all, a great outfit.
“That looks so cool, Yamada!” She says, then scratches the back of her neck. “I didn’t mean to ask for something skin-tight. I normally wear looser stuff…”
“I do, too!” I reply, trying to help her feel better. “Call me Takara, by the way, and, with everything else, it looks great. I like your suit, too!” I then look over and am a little shocked at the girl with long black-hair’s costume. It was red, looking kinda like Oba Nemuri’s...but… “Wow...um...that’s an interesting costume…” I mumble, blushing a little. She showed a lot of skin.
“My Quirk is Creation, and the creations come out of my skin, so I had to have something that works with that.” I nod.
“Yeah.” I reply. “Makes sense. Sorry.” She smiles.
“My name is Momo Yaoyorozu. I know it’s a bit revealing, but I have to dress like this, with my Quirk. I apologize if it makes you uncomfortable.” I smile.
“Oh, no! I just...it took my a little by surprise, is all. I didn’t know what your Quirk was.” I explain as we walk out.
“Okay.” She says and we drop the conversation.
I then see the boys and- -holy- -whoa! Eijiro! His hero outfit, like Momo’s, catered to his Quirk, but...did he have to just not wear any shirt?! “N-nice outfit, Eijiro…” I mumble, blushing scarlet. He was jacked! He had a defined six-pack and those arms were too jacked. He had a jawguard on that looked almost like a muzzle, with cog-wheel looking things over his shoulders and a half-skirt tucked into his belt, which had a stylized ‘R’ on the buckle. His pants were baggy dark grey cargo pants and he wore a pair of red mid-shin high boots.
“Thanks! You look...you look amazing, too!” He replies, chuckling.
I move automatically with everyone else, but I can’t stop glancing over at Kiri. He’d been wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants at the entrance exam and the uniform after that, so I was completely caught off guard. How was he so ripped?! Finally, we arrive at Training Ground Beta and head down the tunnel. “They say that ‘clothes make the pros’, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold, you are the proof! Take this to heart; from now on, you’re all Heroes in Training!” Toshin-Oji all but squeals when we arrive. “It’s getting me all ramped up! You look so cool!” He calms a little, clearing his throat, “Now, shall we get started, you bunch of newbies?” Izuku, having taken a little while longer to get dressed, finally arrived.
At first, I thought his costume was modeled after a rabbit, then I remembered his favorite hero and shake with the effort to contain laughter. It was super obvious! “Nice costume, Izuku!” I greet.
“Yeah! Not too flashy, Deku! I like it!” Ochaco chimes in, and Izuku is startled when he takes in his friend’s costume, cheeks flaring under his face mask. “I should have been more specific about what I wanted; this bodysuit is skin-tight. Not really my style…”
“Now that you’re ready,” Toshin-Oji calls as he takes all of our costumes in. “it’s time for combat training!” Tenya (or I think it’s Tenya; no one else’s calves are that thick) immediately raises a hand.
“Sir, this is the city from the entrance exam. Does this mean we’ll be conducting urban battles again?”
“Not quite!” Toshin-Oji replies. “I’m gonna move you two steps ahead! Most of the villain attacks you see on the news happen outside. However, statistically, run-ins with the more dastardly villains happen indoors. Think about it; back room deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals remain in the shadows. For this training exercise, I’ll be splitting you into teams of two; good guys and bad guys, fighting two-on-two teams!”
“Isn’t this a little advanced?” That girl with dark green hair asks, tilting her head. She wears a green bodysuit with dulled yellow goggles.
“The best training is what you get on the battlefield.” Toshin-Oji points out. “But remember; you can’t just punch a robot this time; you’re dealing with actual people now.” Questions flew thick a fast, things like ‘how will you split us up?’, ‘how bad can we hurt the other team?’ (from Bakugo, unsurprisingly), and a lot of others.
“I wasn’t finished speaking!” Toshin-Oji exclaims. He then clears his throat and draws out a small notebook. “The situation is this; the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in the building. The heroes must either retrieve the weapon or capture the villains to win. But, time is limited! Teams will be decided by drawing lots!”
“Isn’t there a better way?” Tenya asks.
“Think about it.” Izuku counters. “Heroes have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that’s the reason we’re seeing that here.”
Tenya nods. “Ah, I see. Life is a random series of events.” He replies. “Excuse my rudeness!”
“No sweat!” Toshin-Oji cheers, “Let’s draw!” In everyone’s rush to draw, I’m left a bit behind, and can’t get through til almost everyone has drawn. When I reach my hand in, however, I find there’s only one ball left and I wander around, trying to find the other person with a ‘K’ on their ball. Toshin-Oji flinches when I can’t find anyone. “Ah, young Yamada! I should have considered that the class is unevenly numbered. Hmm...it wouldn’t be right to leave you solo...hmm...Well, I’m sorry, but for now, just watch and we’ll see how we can get you into a battle. Sound okay?” I nod awkwardly.
“Yeah.” All Might gives me an apologetic look before he clears his throat and moved to two boxes labelled ‘Heroes’ and ‘Villains’.
“I declare that the first two teams to fight will be…” He draws a ball from each and holds them up. ‘D’ and ‘A’. “These guys!” I gulp.
‘D’ was Katsuki and Tenya. ‘A’ was Ochaco and Izuku.
Katsuki hated Izuku. This was so not going to end well.

Hi! Idk if you read fanfic, but would you happen to have any kiribaku fic recs? Or any bnha fic rec?
I’m pretty sure there’s stuff tagged as fic recs on this blog, yes! Nothing particularly new tho, I haven’t had the time to put down a new rec-list in a while ;-;
Anon said:How long does it take you to finish a drawing with and without color?
That honestly depends on a lot of factors - which tools I’m using, how many characters there are in the drawing/if it’s full body or not, how used to drawing the character I am, how big is the canvas, if I already have a clear idea of what I mean to draw or not, how precise I want to be with lines and stuff.
That Yuuto sketch I posted yesterday took me about 40 minutes I think, and over half of it was spent trying to figure out how I was supposed to draw him since it was the first time I drew him - the tools I used are the ones I use when I want to be fast and don’t care about being sloppy. A small random Kirishima bust properly lined and colored could take me five minutes to sketch and line and as many to color on a good day, cause I’ve drawn him so many times by now I don’t even have to think to draw him. Deku, on the other hand, can take me an hour even just to sketch, I can’t seem to grasp how I’m supposed to draw him at all.
Sorry, it really depends on a lot of things, I can’t give a proper answer to this :(
Anon said:Ive been tryin to find ur art of sero carrying baku for like 20 minutes n i cant find it :(
Are you talking about this one? Or this one? There’s also this one I guess...? And maybe this one lol

My Other Half - Chapter 1
Hello readers! This is going to be a BakugouxOC story with my own made up OC. I will continue updating this story which can be found on my AO3 along with all of your requests. I will be taking many scenes from the manga and show itself so all credit to the writers. If you would like to see anything or have some advice on how to make the story better please let me know, I enjoy the feedback! New chapter will be coming soon, enjoy ♡
“To keep anyone else from suffering like me, well… I promise I will strive to be the perfect hero!”
The students of Class 1A grinned at Iida and his uplifting speech, after everything he had been through they were not expecting this.
“It’s time for class to begin, please take your seats!” Iida shouted with his arm extended firmly, followed by the once grinning students groans as he returned to his usual state.
After a full week of spending time at their internships, the students were more than happy to be back. The work of a pro-hero was no easy feat, let alone being their sidekick for only seven days.
Izuku still smiled at the tall boy as he took his seat behind Bakugou, though Iida could be annoying at times, the green hair boy was proud of how well he had matured since their fight with the Hero Killer.
“How come the middle row has an extra chair in the back?” Momo pointed out, the sitting students all turning their attention to the middle row that was one desk longer than usual.
“Hey I heard rumors about someone new coming into class, but how did they get in so late in the year?” Mina questioned, the class whispering different theories as to how this person got so lucky.
“Shouldn’t UA at least put the kid in class 1B? Exams are in two weeks, they’re sure to fail.” Sero said as most of the students nodded in agreement.
“Whoever is coming this late is in for a rude fucking awakening, they’re gonna flunk out before the next damn semester.” Bakugou hissed, seemingly uninterested in the conversation as a whole as he stared down at his desk, flicking at something.
This sparked a whole other argument amongst the classmates, all of them wondering if this newbie was going to survive her first day. The conversation grew louder and louder until the door slammed open causing them all to jump in their seats.
“This is the smallest class at UA, how are you all so loud?” Aizawa groaned, holding the door for the figure standing behind him.
Whispers filled the classroom as the person followed him in, her appearance striking confusion in everyone. The girl seemed out of her element, but not in a bad way. Her tan skin and long slender legs made her stand out, especially standing to Mr. Aizawa. She had long brown hair that rested right below her shoulder blades and bright blue eyes that seemed to contrast with everything else.
She had expected the room to be silent, but not for this long. Her nerves started to spike a bit but luckily Aizawa picked up on this before things got even more awkward.
“Class, this is Hazel Jones. She is our new foreign exchange student from America.” Aizawa said in a dull tone followed by the girls soft smile as she waved to her new classmates.
They all stared at her with wide eyes, this girl was from America? Her toned yet petite figured certainly proved that the stereotypes of America weren’t entirely true; wherever she was from, it must be sunny with skin that tan.
“Woah so you speak English!” Kaminari exclaimed, breaking the silence as they all looked to him followed by her nod, “So… can you,” The blond boy spoke pointing to her, “Understand what I am saying?” He continued, pointing back to himself, hoping his hand movements would help her understand.
“No I couldn’t understand what you said, wanna repeat it for me?” Hazel responded in Japanese with a grin, watching as the boy nodded repeating his obnoxious hand movements not even realizing what she just said.
“You idiot, she just spoke in Japanese.” Jirou said slapping him upside the head as the boy yelped rubbing his head with the pout of his lips.
Hazel laughed softly, surprising the class with how laid back she was acting in front of all these new people, “I took a Japanese class before I moved here so I can understand you all.”
“So you’re from America? What’s your quirk?” Tsuyu asked with her head tilted curiously to the side.
“Oh yeah, how do you like Musutafu so far?” Kirishima questioned as well with a bright smile.
“Please tell me you’re staying in our dorms with us!” Mineta said as the rest of the class groaned at the small boy’s question.
“Well it certainly is more busy than the city I was from, but I think I like it. I’m just so happy to be off that plane, although back in America it’s around 7 o’clock so I’m a bit exhausted.” Hazel responded honestly rubbing the back of her head, “I will be staying in the dorms yes, and if you uncap your bottle I can show you my quirk right now.” The brunette said with a smile, Tsuyu taking the cap off her drink eagerly awaiting to see her quirk.
Hazel looked back to Aizawa to make sure it was alright before lifting her arms up, concentrating on the liquid in the bottle the class watched as it rose from the now empty bottle, hovering about Tsuyu.
“Wow you can control water?” Izuku said with wide intrigued eyes, watching as Hazel made the water dance in front of her.
“I can also control the temperature of the water as well, making it freeze or melt.” Hazel explained forming the water into a sphere shape as she froze it in shape.
“Wow so half of Todoroki’s quirk is basically useless on you!” Kirishima said turning back to Todoroki who watched her intrigued.
“Well I wouldn’t say that, I watched you on TV back home, you were amazing!” The new girl exclaimed with a grin, earning a nod and a small smile from Todoroki.
“Yeah but he didn’t fucking win it.” Bakugou snapped, averting Hazel’s eyes to the ashy blond haired boy who was glaring to her with cold eyes.
Hazel just chuckled to the angry boy, moving the water back inside Tsuyu’s bottle. “Oh I remember you, they had to lock you up like an animal because you couldn’t control yourself.”
The class froze at her blunt response in shock, quickly watching as the boy’s hands began to steam in furry.
“What did you say?! I’ll fucking light a cap in your ass so hard it’ll send you back to your shithole of a country!” Bakugou screamed slamming his fist against the desk, only to be interrupted by her laughing again.
“You’re very funny, I think I will enjoy beating your scores next semester.” Hazel said with a smirk, at this point almost everyone’s jaw was touching the ground.
Before the angry boy flipped his desk across the room, Mr. Aizawa cut in leading Hazel to her new seat in front of the one and only, Bakugou. “That’s enough from you Bakugou, now all of you get changed in your hero uniforms and head to your next class.” Aizawa said handing Hazel a pair of gym clothes since her costume hadn’t been made yet.
“Yes sir!”
--
“Hello students! It’s time for your Hero Basic Training!” All Might exclaimed with his trademark style as his students stood before him. “It feels like I haven’t seen you in awhile, I think I even see a new face!”
Everyone turned back to you as you stood with a sheepish smile waving to the large pro-hero.
“Hi I’m Hazel Jones, I don’t exactly have my costume made yet so I’m just going to stick with the gym clothes.” the brunette said with a smile as she fiddled with her light brown hair that was held in a high ponytail.
“It is very nice to meet you Hazel! I can’t wait to see you in action!” All Might exclaimed with a thumbs up before continuing on with his plans for the day.
“We are going to be doing a race! Take everything you’ve learned from your internships and apply it to this training, Jones-chan you will be at a slight disadvantage here but I still expect you to work your hardest.” All Might explained, the new girl nodding with a determined look in her eyes.
“Now then, get ready to step into field filled with factories that form an intricate labyrinth.” All Might explained as the other students observed the maze like area.
“You will be competing in groups of five, each of you starting in a different location. I’ll send a distress signal and you will do what you must to get to me first and save me!” All Might said to the students before turning to Bakugou with a concerned look on his face.
“And please let's keep the property damage to a minimum.” All Might pleaded followed by Bakugou’s scowl as he turned his back to the famous hero.
“All right! The first group will be Midoriya, Sero, Iida, Hazel, and Ashido. Everyone get to your places!” All Might yelled with excitement as the five separated from the group.
Hazel looked down to her hands feeling a bit nervous, she had two weeks to prove herself before she truly became a student at UA; she couldn’t mess this up. Her fumbled thoughts were interrupted by a hand as she turned to see the green hair boy smiling up to her.
“You’ll do fine Hazel, don’t overthink it. I’m Midoriya by the way.” He said with a smile, allowing Hazel to feel a little better as she returned the smile before walking off to her zone.
--
“Iida hasn’t totally recovered yet, he should sit this one out.” Kaminari said in the observing area along with the rest of the class.
“Huh, I think Midoriya is at a disadvantage.” Momo pointed out, Jirou nodded in agreement
“That’s what I think, moving around isn’t exactly one of his strong suits.”
“Who’s your pick? I’m betting on Sero.” Kirishima said with a grin as Kaminari paused and thought on the question. “Oh yeah? Mmm, I got odds on Ashido. Her quirk will help her stick to places and climb around.” Kaminari explained, Kirishima nodding in understanding.
“I choose Hazel! She’s got a super athletic body.” Mineta said with a determined tone, his eyes never leaving the screen as the two girls groaned rolling their eyes.
“I know Deku and this water freak are gonna be last.” Bakugou hissed, his arms folded as he watched the five heroes in training stretch on the screen.
“Even though Iida is recovering, I think he’s got this one.” Ochako said with a curious expression written on her face, Tsuyu nodding in agreeance with her.
“Everyone ready? Begin!” All Might shouted, sounding the alarm for the heroes to start.
Hazel looked around quickly as she heard the alarm ring throughout the maze. She could feel water flowing through somewhere she just had to search for it.
The class watched as the girl stood there waving her arms around, Bakugou sneered with a smirk flashing across his face.
“Just as I expected, she froze up and the event just started.” Bakugou hissed with pride while watching as Sero took the lead.
“Wow this course was made for Sero! It makes perfect sense for him to stay above so he knows exactly where to go!” Kirishima said with a grin as his pick took a strong lead.
“Woah guys look at Midoriya!” Momo exclaimed as they all looked to see the green haired boy whizz by Sero with ease.
“What the heck? How did he get so fast?” Kaminari exclaimed, standing up from his position to watch him better.
“The way he’s jumping in the air..” Todoroki mumbled, watching the boy intently as he leaped from pole to pole easily.
“The way he’s jumping almost looks like-” Ochako began before Bakugou stomped forward to the screens, his eyes filled with fury.
“Those are my moves.” Bakugou hissed under his breath as he watched the boy use his strength to leap across the metal.
“While I spent my time getting groomed at that useless internship, he… look at him!” Bakugou thought as he clenched to his fists reading to punch at the cement wall beside him until another chorus of gasps was heard and another screen caught his attention.
“Holy shit Hazel’s already in second!” Kirishima shouted, watching as the girl danced across the sky effortlessly.
“Don’t count me out just yet!” Hazel shouted with a grin as she flew by Sero who choked in surprise when she quickly moved by him. By breaking one of the pipes above her she gained access to the pipe water which she was using almost like arms as the liquid wrapped around each pipe allowing her to launch herself in the air.
“Dude I don’t even think she’s breaking a sweat, look at her go!” Kaminari exclaimed next to Kirishima with a grin on his face as everyone watched Hazel and Midoriya go neck and neck to All Might.
Hazel panted as she landed on a pipe next to Midoriya, running as fast as she could next to the boy to save up the rest of the water she had left. While second place wasn’t bad, she couldn’t afford to lose at all these next two weeks.
“I’m sorry Midoriya!” Hazel shouted as the green haired boy looked to her confused until a stream of water rushed underneath him trapping his body as it began to freeze into ice.
“Holy crap she just froze Midoria in place!” Kirishima and Kaminari shouted in unison as they began to run to the screen eagerly.
The new girl formed a new stream of water and wrapped it around the pole before launching herself in the air one last time noticing Sero did the same except with his tape.
“Not today tape boy!” Hazel shouted sending a blast of water to him that slammed into his gut, causing him to fall back on another metal platform as she landed next to All Might.
“Yes! I told you all she would win!” Mineta shouted victoriously as all the students watched the girl in awe.
“Congratulations hero! Thank you for saving me!” All Might explained, handing over the sash to her as she panted before him, forcing a smile on her face as she thanked him.
The rest of the heroes cursed as the made it up to the platform next to her, Hazel wasted no time in melting the ice around Midoriya and allowed the water to carry him over to the platform they all stood on.
“S..Sorry Midoriya, I just wanted to make sure I won.” Hazel said with a sheepish smile, thankful that the boy returned the smile and shook her hand.
“It’s okay Hazel, I know you were just trying to work your hardest.” Midoriya said sending a wave of relief over her.
“Next team line up!” All Might called, dismissing the five students off to the observing area.
--
“Wow Jones-chan that was amazing! My name is Momo by the way.” Momo exclaimed as the girls started to take off their costumes.
“Thanks Momo, but you can just call me Hazel.” The new girl spoke, smiling to her new friends who finally got to introduce themselves.
“Yeah your quirk is super cool, I already know you’ll probably be the top in our class with how skilled you are.” Ochako said with a bright smile, causing her to laugh sheepishly.
“Well I wouldn’t say that, your quirks are really cool too.” Hazel said yanking her gym shirt off her head as she grabbed her white blouse. “To be honest, I’m pretty glad you all are so nice. The girls at my old school weren’t exactly the friendly type.” She explained as she scratched her arm nervously.
“Awe Hazel-chan, if anyone bothers you here just let us know, we’ll knock them out.” Mina said with a grin as the girls nodded in unison.
“Thank you guys, but I think I can handle myself-” Hazel started as she laughed softly until she heard a familiar voice all too well.
“Guys? Do you hear Mineta?” Hazel questioned looking around the room, the girls stopped changing to better hear it.
“Well the walls are pretty thin, it’s pretty easy to hear each other.” Ochako explained.
“No no, Hazel is right. The walls are thin but his voice sounds way to audible.” Jirou said looking around until she froze, her eyes landing on a quarter sized hole in the wall.
All of the girls froze.
--
“Guys! I just found jackpot!” Mineta shouted as the guys crowded around the small boy to see what he was freaking out about.
“Someone shot a hole in this wall, the previous generation has given us a gift!” Mineta exclaimed, all the guys freezing as they changed starting to come to realization.”You know what’s on the other side of this wall right? This looks into the girls locker room!”
“Don’t even think about it! Peeping on them like that would be criminal!” Iida shouted sternly in an attempt to stop the pervish boy.
“Then you’ll have to throw me in solitary confinement cause you can’t stop me!” Mineta said with a crazed look in his eyes as he ripped down the poster covering the small hole.
“I wanna see Uraraka’s super fine body, Ashido’s slender waist, oh and Hazel’s super lean body!” Mineta shouted shoving his eye up against the hole as if there was a million bucks on the other side of the wall.
The guys looked to each other a bit curious to see what they all would do as well as concerned for the small boy’s weird fantasies.
All was silent until a familiar earphone jack pierced the boy’s eye followed by his high pitched scream as the rest of the boy’s watched with wide eyes.
“What a brutal attack, an earphone jack to the eye.” Izuku thought as the guys hissed in pity for the boy, even though he deserved it for trying to peep.
“Thanks Jirou and Hazel, we’ll clear up that hole immediately!” Momo hissed with disgust written on her face, but Hazel wasn’t done yet. She needed to teach this boy a lesson before he did something even worse.
“No, I’m gonna give that boy a piece of my mind!” Hazel shout storming out of the locker room with only her skirt and white blouse on as the girls followed behind her trying to calm her down.
“Hazel I don’t really think this is the best idea- oh ribbet!” Tsuyu said as the new girl slammed the boy’s locker room door open with her foot.
A chorus of woah’s and hey’s was heard as the guys scurried around trying to cover themselves with their shirts.
“Ohh embarrassed? Too bad.” Hazel growled as she stormed in the locker room, the rest of the girls stayed outside except for Mina who happily walked in enjoying the attention.
“Where’s the little grape kid?” Hazel hissed, all the guys quickly pointing to the small boy in the corner without a second thought.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to, I can’t help my boy hormones!” Mineata screamed as he tried to run from her before Hazel grabbed his collar and lifted him up.
“If I catch you trying to peep on us again I won’t hesitate to freeze you to death.” Hazel threatened, her blue eyes piercing into his own terrified purple ones.
“Y..Yes ma’am.” Mineta whispered, his entire body trembling, until he couldn’t help but notice the her toned skin underneath the half buttoned blouse she wore, his eyes shifting lower down.
“What are you.. oh you little-” Hazel hissed looking back to Mina who was standing next to the water fountain. “Press the fountain.” The new girl hissed, Mina happily obliging as Hazel wasted no time to gain control of the water and slammed it against Mineta until it surrounded him then froze it so he was stuck against the wall.
“Hey get me out of this!” Mineta cried trying to free himself as the two girls stormed out.
“Maybe if you had some self control not to look at our ‘super lean bodies’ then you wouldn’t be there you little creep!” Mina shouted behind Hazel who was cursing in what they could only guess English since they couldn’t understand her.
Once the door slammed shut it was quiet for a few seconds, all of the boys still processing what just happened before Kaminari was the first to speak, their attention turning to him.
“I am both frightened, and aroused.”

WIP Game
List the things you’re excited to work on this year in as little or as much detail as you like, and then tag some friends!
Tagged by @enchantedtalisman (and again it won’t tag you. Tch. Sorry. But thanks for the tag!)
(Behind a cut, because you don’t want to read all that. ...Or maybe you do?)
In no particular order, because my level of excitement changes at the drop of a hat: 6 BNHA fics, and one each FFXV and FO4. 1700 words of synopses and babbling.  (Friends who read my stuff: if you wanna skim through these and tell me which one(s) (if any) you’d most want to read, that’d be rad. =D Will it influence what I work on? Who knows? My inspiration is fickle as shit. But it couldn’t hurt.)
1. “Touch2” -- current WIP, 10k + notes. BNHA. Dekumight. Estimated total: 20k?      Picking up right where “Touch” left off, this fic is a slightly more detailed/slow/slice-of-life story than its predecessor. The 10k I’ve written so far takes place over the course of only 2 days, and it’s mostly Toshi and Izuku getting to know each other, and Toshi being yelled at by his manager (an OC called Suzuki). The general plot of the story doesn’t deviate very far from canon, as far as I’ve planned. “Touch2” will probably cover at least up to the entrance exam, but I’m not entirely sure. Given that leisurely pace, there’ll probably have to be a Touch3 and 4 as well, if not even more.       I’ve been slowly hacking away at this one since the start of December, just in between whatever else I might be working on. Kind of got to a point where I need to actually think about what happens next? ^^; Also, it’s gotten too long to be a one-shot, I think, but I’m going to have to be careful how I split it up. It’s not written for splitting… Well, I’ll figure it out. Just gotta keep writing first.
2. “Make the Most sequel, and side stories” -- only notes. BNHA. Dekumight. Estimated total: lots???      I’m lumping these all together, but this includes quite a few stories, some of which I have plans/notes for, some only ideas. One of the first is a fic that might be, at most, half the length of MtM, which is the events of MtM from Toshi’s POV. This was actually requested by a friend, but it was something I kind of already wanted to do, which is cool. Other side stories include perspectives from other characters, some things like dates and vacations, Izuku learning to use his powers, and some extra NSFW scenes, because why not? After all of those, I intend for there to be an ‘official sequel’, taking place towards the end of Izuku’s college run, which might function as more of an epilogue than a sequel, due to the potential lack of actual plot.      Geez there is just so much potential for this series to go on in side-stories and extras and etc. I actually get a little mad at myself whenever I neglect to continue it, because it’s sort of my main, well, IP, I guess you’d say. It’s my kudos breadwinner. XD I should just do it!
3. “Loveless epilogue” -- only notes. BNHA. Dekumight. Estimated total: 7k?      A short...er sequel/epilogue, taking place roughly a year (I might change that) after the main story, revolving (spoiler alert) around Toshi figuring out if/when/how to propose to Izuku, and summing up how things have gone in the past year. Mushy because I love marriage, okay guys, I just love it so much, and also a little bit morbid because of an in-universe tradition that could be considered either romantic or creepy, depending on your views. =D      I actually ought to write this one like… immediately, while the main fic is still fresh in my mind. It’s extremely self-indulgent, maybe more than just, y’know, my normal writing. But I think at least some of the people who read LOVELESS will like it. ^^ And I will, I think. And that’s all that really matters, right?! *shakes head ‘no’*
4. “Waste” -- current WIP, 1k + notes. BNHA. Dekumight(-ish?), and Deku+friends. Estimated total: 15k???? No. Probably more.      A Fallout fusion. Vault 211 (21-1 or twenty-one one) has been carefully breeding superpowers into its population for the past 200 years, but if yours doesn’t show up by your 18th birthday, prepare to be kicked out on your ass into the unforgiving wasteland. Guess who’s the newest resident of the wastes? Lucky for Izuku, he meets a frightening creature who takes to looking out for him. ‘Human’ under some description, he’s sure, this guy has radiation levels through the roof. Burly super-mutant by day, gangly rotting ghoul by night, he doesn’t exactly have a lot of friends, but boy is he good at surviving in the hellscape that the world has become.      I freaking love Fallout a whole lot, and look, Toshi/All Might is so very much a ghoul/super mutant, and vaults just give you so much free reign to give people powers and etc etc, look, it just seemed like something that would work. Not sure really how it’s going to go, but we’ll see. =]
5. “Nana/Toshi darkfic” -- only notes. BNHA. Nana/Toshi (probably NSFW) and Dekumight. Estimated total: 20k???       His mentor was beautiful, kind, strong-- perfect. He didn’t realize she was being eaten away by a dark pit in her heart. He didn’t know if leaving her alone would help it. He just wanted to be with her so badly, to please her, to make that smile real, and she lacked the fortitude to refuse him anything that would make him happy. A fic about Nana and Toshi becoming perhaps too close, and Nana struggling with depression. Following the canon timeline moderately closely, it shouldn’t be a surprise that it will include a major character death, and the fallout surrounding it.      Hoo boy did the desire to write this fic just hit me like a ton of bricks a few weeks ago. This is going to be a dark, sad, uncomfortable story, most likely. And although it will end with Dekumight, the large part of the plot will still revolve around Nana/Toshi, so I’m not sure most of my normal readers will want to touch it. XD;;; I think the inspiration to write this came somewhat from the feeling that the ending to LOVELESS was not nearly as dark as it could have been, haha. Every so often I just want to challenge myself and see how many boundaries I can push. ^^;
6. “Feed” -- only notes. BNHA. Dekumight. Estimated total: 15k?      In a world ruled by a vampiric shadow known as All for One, Izuku’s group has been trying to find ways to fight him. Nearly everyone is of this man’s blood now, since he started handing out powers to gain followers. But it’s said that an artifact of some sort exists still which can give the power to defeat him. Izuku, with the purest blood of his group, is chosen to seek it out. But the artifact is a vampire, the last of AfO’s first ‘children’, frozen and starving after failing to defeat his ‘father’, and Izuku almost doesn’t survive the encounter.      I want to write this fic, and I think I should do it while it’s still cold and gloomy, because that’s the feel of the setting, but if I get distracted and don’t get around to it, I probably won’t be too upset.
7. “Parents AU” -- current WIP, 6k + notes. FFXV. Gladnis + Ignis&Noctis. Estimated total: 40k?       Teenage Ignis and Gladio happen to be babysitting the toddler prince when the Empire attacks, and in the chaos they manage to get safely mixed into the crowd of civilians fleeing the city. They decide to treat him as their own until they can be sure it’s safe to return him to someone with more seniority. But will it ever be safe? Fifteen years in hiding says no, and even when Noct is old  enough to be asked to save the world, there’s no way in hell his parents are going to let him go it alone.       I tried to continue writing this the other day and it was terrible. Painful. I almost cried. Literally every word of the 30 or so I managed before I gave up were the hardest things I’ve ever written. I think if I go back and play the game again (which I’d like to, since there’ve been updates and DLC), I think it will be easier. Honestly though, this is one of my favorite things I’ve yet written, so if I don’t see it to fruition, I will be moderately pissed.
8. “Same Heart” -- current WIP, 30k + notes. FO4. Estimated total: 90k (35k for act 1)      The great synth detective Nick Valentine is recaptured by the Institute, remade and reset. He awakes to his new life underground, unaware that he ever roamed the wasteland-- except for the rare moments when they plug in his old memories so they can grill him for info. Though the memories are gone again after every session, they leave an aftertaste of distrust for the people he’s working with, until it’s too much to ignore. Meanwhile, he finds himself as the only person who seems to truly care about the little boy they’re all calling their savior, doing his best to help him grow up with some modicum of love in this sterile environment. When Nick finally decides to break out of their fancy little prison, it’s not a question whether he’ll take Shaun with him, and it’s obvious where they’ll go: to find the parents the Institute stole him from.      This one haunts me, because I spent like 3 months doing practically nothing but writing this last year. I got almost, almost all the way through the first act (out of 3), and then… stopped. Now I know it’s going to be impossible to get back into. And this is already a very different story for me, because it’s essentially a gen fic. The intention is for acts 2 and 3 to focus on Nick and the ‘sole survivor’ Nora, but the whole first act is about him half-raising her son, Shaun. I really want to finish this, or geez, at least the first act! Because it is painful having 30k sitting around that nobody has ever seen. And it’s pretty decent! But even though I have 6 chapters done, I don’t want to start posting it until it has a halfway decent ‘conclusion’, so I need to finish the act. I have to.
And I’ll tag… uh… @oldseablues, @braincoins, @thenightisdarkandfullofbooty, @orionskingdom, @animeuzumaki7, @blessedblooduniverse, @rangrids, and anyone else who’s reading this and is also a writer. =] Tag me back so I can see it, please! ^^
