Cosmetic Surgery: Its Types and Scope
Reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery are two distinct branches of plastic surgery. Reconstructive surgery focuses on repairing and restoring function and appearance due to congenital defects, trauma, or medical conditions. Cosmetic surgery focuses on enhancing appearance.
On the other hand, there are postgraduate students who want to excel in their MS final examinations. Yet, they are unable to do so because they have limited knowledge of theoretical concepts.
This is why these students enroll in an online surgery course where they can understand the clinical context in detail. But before we talk about this course, let's have a more detailed look at cosmetic surgery and its types.
Cosmetic Surgery and its types
Cosmetic surgery is done to improve the appearance of a person’s body using surgical and nonsurgical procedures. It is completely the choice of a person who wants to do this surgery to change their appearance and reshape their body parts, which makes them unable to feel confident.
Various types of cosmetic surgeries are happening at a worldwide level, such as:
Breast augmentation
Buttock lift
Botox
Brow lift
Cheek lift
Chin surgery
Male breast reduction
Face lift
Face contouring
Dermabrasion
Hair transplantation
Eyelid lift
Facial contouring
Facial hair removal
Forehead lift
Thigh lift
Wrinkle treatment
Rhinoplasty
Otoplasty
Upper arm lift
Vaginoplasty
These aesthetic restoration procedures have only one motive: to create aesthetic and dramatic changes to the body part where you feel underconfident. So, these individuals highly prefer a skilled surgeon with all the required knowledge and experience.
If you, too, want to make your career and learn clinical skills, it is important to equip yourself with a course that gives you a better understanding of what is and isn’t required when dealing with patients in reality.

the argument from corset defenders that they're just trying to say corsets "weren't universal torture devices" and/or "people didn't typically tightlace" is rendered automatically null by the fact that this is fundamentally a straw man argument - one that is made more so because they're purposefully ignoring valid critiques of corsetry - ones that actually take historical context into consideration (i.e. the role of the patriarchy, white women's bodies as tools of colonialism, fashion interlinked with industrialization and capitalism, real women's testimonies and feelings towards it, dress reform and medical history) when discussing clothing and fashion history - to repeat this rhetoric.
most critiques I've seen have encompassed discussions of gender, labour, and colonial history. It's a shame that people keep insisting on seeing the corset as (at best) a neutral item and devoid of social/racial/gendered context, and rather than as something that directly interacts with those topics, and therefore cannot be simply rendered as neutral item of clothing.
#it's also rendered automatically null by saying 'actual clothing historians'#which is mostly a self-moniker title... but that's a conversation people on here can't handle#bad history takes#name an actual historian for $100 - not a costuber or a person with a degree in art history ffs#so tired of this particular blogger being like i'm just being nuanced while presenting some of the worst takes i've seen#or that are 1/5 sort of correct and the rest absolutely does not make sense if you have any understanding of history or historical research#i remember them saying during the bridgeton corset scandal 'wow why don't these people critiquing corsets care about actresses wearing span#even though the critiques including shapewear because most people understand diet culture/shapewear as the transformation of the corset#to the foucauldian “mindful” body in which we self-regulate to create the 'ideal' body through dieting and cosmetic surgery etc.#absolutely braindead take as always#bullshit ideologies#sorry i'm in a bitchy mood today but i'm sick and tired of seeing this take and pretending it's novel or saying anything interesting#i'm so tired hearing about corsets - women undoubtedly in the 19th century and me in the 21st century

growing old with kento nanami
word count: 2.8k
warnings: post-shibuya arc, descriptions of: surgery, recovery processes, depression, insomnia, trauma, therapy, coping mechanisms; pregnancy, marriage, crying. (18+ mdni!)
notes: this WILL have a part 2 and maybe 3! it will be very long so i'm splitting it up. even though the warnings seem kind of sad i promise it's a happy story :)
part 2 | masterlist
“marry me.”
proposing to you was nanami’s first conscious thought after being in a coma for 5 days after shibuya. you were reading a book, peacefully keeping him company in his hospital room, not even noticing he was awake. your eyes fluttered up from your book, back down, and then up again.
“marry me, please,” he repeated. you stayed silent for a moment, eyes widening and mouth dropping. he wasn’t supposed to wake up.
“kento, oh my god,” you yelped, dropping your book and rushing to the hospital bed to look at him. his eyes were open, only slightly, and the weakest smile he could bear rested on his lips. you gently settled your hands on each side of his face, barely hovering over the charred skin. he looked so tired, and yet, he was asking you to marry him.
kento groaned when you hugged him, but you couldn’t stop yourself, you squeezed him gently and with care. a weak hand rested on your back, in between your shoulder blades. he was too weak to repeat his question again. but the only thing on his mind was if you would be his wife.
“yes, yes, i’ll marry you,” you cried into his chest, wetting the fabric of the hospital clothing.
neither you nor nanami himself understood why he proposed to you in that moment. after waking up, his journey to recovery began with slow but steady progress. it took several months of intense rehabilitation and support from both sorcerers and doctors for him to regain his mobility. with their help, he was able to walk and move with a surprising degree of agility, nearly returning to how he was before shibuya. he also had a few cosmetic surgeries, in an attempt to minimize the scarring from all he had been through. within a few months, he was able to see his skin smooth out and hair grow from the side of his head. he wouldn’t look the same, ever; but you didn’t care. you loved kento, as he did you, the fact you were able to celebrate his recovery made you feel like the luckiest woman on the earth.
the loss of his previous strength and abilities weighed heavily on him, casting a shadow over his spirits. yet, amidst the struggles, he found solace in small victories and the support of those around him, your support meaning the most to him. although kento was deeply troubled by the realization that he could no longer pursue his life as a sorcerer, he came to accept it as the best possible outcome given the circumstances. this acceptance marked a pivotal shift in his perspective, allowing him to focus on rebuilding his life in new ways. before he turned in his resignation, he had made sure to recommend ino for a promotion. it was his last wish as a sorcerer.
after the almost year-long recovery process, kento surprised you with a beautiful ring, one of the ones you had talked about before he went on his trip. he proposed again, in the place you first met, this time without weak hands and barely audible words. he was able to find a job, one not nearly as draining as his job from before he returned to jujutsu – and began making plans for your wedding. the planning process didn’t take long, he wanted the wedding to make you happy.
your and kento’s wedding was outright beautiful. it was a stunning venue on a beach, hundreds of guests attended, friends and family alike. kento shed a few tears when he saw you walking down the aisle, clad in the most gorgeous attire he’d ever seen you wear, as his bride. his voice shook as he said his vows – vows that he wrote, almost a good 1,000 words – and he made you a million promises. promises he wouldn’t dare to break, promises to grow old together and live the life you both deserve.
at the reception, you told kento you had a surprise for him, and ran off to go get something from one of your bridesmaids. he was confused at first, because he didn’t need any more surprises, he was the happiest he’d ever been. a newlywed, married to you. but when you came back to the table, two small pieces of paper in your hands, he didn’t think it would be possible to be more joyous.
“we’re going to malaysia, for our honeymoon, kento,” you excitedly told him, showing off the two plane tickets scheduled in a week.
nanami was speechless, a huge smile with teeth plastered across his face, and he gave you the tightest hug he’d ever given anyone.
when the two of you traveled to malaysia, kento was at peace. he had never seen a place so charming and breathtaking, he remained entranced by the culture and landscapes. the two of you spent your time hiking in nature, watching waterfalls and having lovely picnics wherever felt right. kento was so ecstatic, a smile constant on his face as he watched his surroundings with never-ending wonder. he thanked you a million times over.
you had never seen him be so alive. he promised you that one day, he was going to build a house, right on the beach, just for the two of you.
once you were back at your shared apartment, the reality of the past year and a half hit kento like a train. so much time had been spent recovering, constantly in and out of the hospital, planning for your wedding and improving both of your lives, he never had a chance to reflect on the genuine trauma he went through.
you didn’t notice for a while, but kento grew depressed, and restless at the same time. he began to spend his nights awake, insomnia brewing like piping hot tea, staying conscious until the early hours of the morning, doing any exercise or meditation to calm himself down and go to sleep. yet the visuals replayed over, and over, and over. the blood, the curses, the flames, the death. it hadn’t bothered him before, he thought, but he just never gave himself the time to soak it all in. and the depression – the depression was an all-new low for him. when kento wasn’t working, he was at his house, in the bed, while you were working or off running errands. you only noticed his new behavior when you woke up in an empty bed at 4 a.m. one night, 3 months after your honeymoon.
“mm…kento?” you called, footsteps heavily plopping down the hallway towards the bright lights of your kitchen. when you entered the room, you saw kento sprawled out on the floor, knees bent, with sweat rolling down his forehead. stepping over towards him, you kneeled down to look at him, and his head rolled to the side to look at you, too.
kento’s eyes looked so tired, the eyebags you hadn’t seen in years were full-fledged, his eyelids were droopy and exhausted. just by the emotion his eyes conveyed, you could see he was silently suffering, and he had been that way for a while.
“kento, what’s wrong?” you asked, bringing a hand to the side of his face to rub a thumb over his sweat-glistened cheek.
“i don’t…know,” he replied, defeat in his voice, “i can’t sleep. i haven’t slept. i don’t know.”
your husband always had a plan. he always knew everything; he always took care of the unknown and intimidating parts of life. for kento nanami to say “i don’t know” meant something was wrong, seriously wrong.
“sit up,” you softly demanded, gently pulling his shoulders off the floor. you sat on the ground, crossing your legs, and kento mirrored your actions, slumping when he finally sat up. “kento, honey,” you began, taking his hand in yours and resting it on his knee, “what’s going on?”
he was never one to talk about feelings, to talk about emotions felt deep down, because he wasn’t sure how to convey anything that would make him vulnerable. but as he sat in front of you, chest slightly heaving, such a burnt-out expression on his face, you knew there was something he wasn’t saying, but that something needed to be said.
“i can’t…” kento muttered, stopping himself for a second, “i can’t stop thinking.” he finally admitted, causing you to furrow your eyebrows with concern.
“about what, honey?” you sweetly asked, thumb caressing the back of his hand, tenderly rubbing back and forth.
“everything.” he stated, eyes flashing away from you to look at the floor next to him. you knew what he meant, though, but you had never seen him so pained from his work, especially from something that happened so long ago.
“tell me, baby,” you soothed him. you grabbed his other hand, causing him to look back at you pitifully. kento stayed silent for numerous moments, unsure as to what you could handle. but you were his wife, someone he was supposed to be able to confide in.
“so many people…died…” he mumbled, “i almost died. i saw what it looked like, i faced death.” his words began to come out quicker, “i’ve never seen that many people die, not even in shinjuku, and there was so much blood, and gojo almost, he almost-,” kento’s voice began to get shaky and uneven, a crack in his words as tears stung his eyes. “gojo almost died, too, and…i almost died, i saw it,” he repeated, “and yuuji – looked so upset, and takuma got hurt,” he clenched his eyes shut, words still coming out as a single string.
you moved closer, shifting onto your knees and wrapping kento in a comforting embrace. he clung to you immediately, his hands gripping the fabric of your shirt as if trying to anchor himself in reality. his body shook with the intensity of his sobs, each breath coming in ragged gasps. the rawness of his anguish was palpable; his cries were filled with a pain that seemed almost too immense to bear. the image of the carnage replayed in his mind, a relentless cycle that he couldn’t escape. kento’s tears soaked through your shirt, repeating with his incoherent murmurs of horror. his face, once so composed, now twisted in an expression of deep, unrelenting despair.
kento wailed into your chest for hours that night, unable to stop his shuttering and repetition of the same phrases. he only calmed down when the sun began to rise, slowly illuminating the insides of your home. once kento parted his head from your chest, he looked you in the eyes, asking for help without saying a word. you wiped away his tears and grabbed the sides of his face, promising him you will get him anything he needs. kento fell asleep around 7 a.m. that morning, with the help of you running your fingers through his hair, shushing him and telling him it will all be okay.
he believed you. kento nanami put all his faith in you, his wife, to help him fix his problem he hadn’t an idea on how to mend. and so, you did everything in your power to help him. you spent countless hours on research, finding therapists that specialized in helping people like him, and you came across different mechanisms to help him cope. most of all, you continued your duties as a supportive wife, constantly telling him to get up and go to the supermarket, or out to the library. little by little, these smaller things combined together to work out, and kento began to get better. it was a breath of fresh air, as well as a weight lifted off both your and his shoulders, when he began to smile again, and shifted his view of life to a more positive outlook. he was alive, he began to feel alive again.
kento nanami was finally beginning to live the life he desired and deserved, all with you by his side.
a couple of weeks after kento’s 30th birthday, you came rushing into his office, tears of joy — and anxiety — pricked in your eyes. soon as his eyes landed on your seemingly upset expression, he was concerned.
“what’s wrong, dear?” he asked, pushing his chair away from the desk to stand up. you quickly closed the door behind you, leaning against it, and you dug around in your purse to pull out a small plastic baggie. when you tossed them to kento, it only took him a few seconds to realize what you were there to tell him.
“…you’re pregnant?” kento beamed, rushing over to you to wrap his arms around your waist. he quickly lifted you up in the air, grip so tight as if he never wanted to let go, your feet kicked happily.
kento always wanted to have kids, but being a sorcerer, he always thought it was too dangerous. you had some conversations about it after shibuya, and the both of you agreed that if it happened, it happened. and your children would have the best life possible, of course; but the glimmer of hope you had for having kids slowly burnt out over time with both of you increasing in age. in that moment, though, kento had so much hope and pure happiness, just at the thought of growing a little family with you.
the first few months of your pregnancy were hectic. between doctor’s appointments, mixed with morning sickness and fatigue, you thought it would never end. although you were happy to start a family, negative emotions easily overcame you, and kento noticed. he tried his best to be there for you, but his work schedule conflicted with your lives, and he soon realized he needed a change in his life. he needed to change your life and his, because he would be damned if he was going to return to the same boring life as he had before.
using his savings and bonus money from his job, he bought you a house. a real house, with acres of land and space for your family to grow, so much bigger than the previous apartment you shared with him. a house that he owned, a house that would contain all the joy for your future. he made sure it was grand, with a huge kitchen, and multiple bedrooms – not caring if only two of them were filled, or if all of them housed someone. before kento showed you the house, he set up a nursery.
“where are we going?” you inquired for about the 50th time that day. you had been in the car for hours, and all kento would say in return is, “you’ll find out.” nonetheless, you were excited, kento had always given you the best surprises, but you had never driven so far with him.
“we’re here.” kento stated, pulling into an empty concrete driveway big enough to fit 6 cars.
“where are we? did satoru move?” you asked, the huge display of a home proving to be a bit intimidating for you. kento didn’t reply this time, he only scurried out of the car to come and open your door, helping you get out with a kind hand.
you didn’t even understand what was going on until you walked up the front steps, and a few keys jingled in kento’s hands until he found the right one to unlock the door. the door to your new home.
“wait...wait. kento,” you said, standing still as your husband strode inside, “what is this?” the familiar tears of joy rushed to your eyes, and you just stood there with a shocked expression plastered on your face.
“this is our new home, honey,” kento chimed, reaching a hand out again to welcome you inside. you took his hand, albeit a little hesitantly, and stepped inside your house.
“oh, kento,” you blubbered, throwing your arms around his neck, tears beginning to trickle down your face.
you and kento explored the house for hours, marveling at all the space and beauty he bought for you. you thanked him a million times over, crying at each new space you discovered in the house, you felt sheer gratefulness for your husband and all he did for you. and kento, well, he did all of it to thank you, to thank you for never losing hope in him, and to thank you for the joy you’d made him experience. he was so undeniably in love with you, just as he had always been, and he promised himself he was going to do everything in his power to live the life he deserved with you. he was going to live up to every word he made in his vows, every promise he made with you, each and every word he had spoken to you was going to show in your lives.
even from the moment he met you, he knew he was going to spend his life with you.

Navamsa/D9 Observation 5
Accuracy entirely dependent on lagna and d9 together. For full accuracy, you MUST read alongside lagna. If not promised in lagna, it will not happen. Navamsa confirms and denies the strengths + lasting effects of lagna predictions.
Venus in 11th House
After marriage, these people can lose interest in working. They can dislike authority figures like bosses. Depending on entire chart, one can work less, stop working or work for themselves. Or simply they dislike their job.
You can benefit from the elder sister. She can gift you something or simply be a good support system.
You can feel life improves through marriage. The spouse is supportive. You can feel secure in the marriage.
You can gain nice things after marriage and/or later in life. ex: expensive cars, big homes, etc. Depending on entire chart, you may not actually be able to afford these things. This placement can struggle to deny themselves what they want. They can be in debt.
Mars in 1st House
This is one indicator for having a mixed relationship with spouse's family. EX: You could like one parent, hate the other, you could like their siblings, dislike their parents. Mars cuts, so you may even distant yourself or cut out spouse's family.
You can desire the spouse to be assertive and active. You can want them to take control, have a good amount of power/status regardless of if they're a man or woman. You need this to feel secure.
However, I have noticed while these people want an assertive spouse, they want control over the spouse - not the spouse controlling them. This can create conflict, as they choose strong independent personalities but desire them to be submissive to them. On the bright side, mars people can like a certain degree of conflict, it can build passion and excitement.
You can become physically active after marriage and/or later in life. You can feel energetic after marriage.
One thing I noticed is these people will get some type of surgery later in life and/or after marriage. ex: c-section, cosmetic surgery are what I have seen irl.
Saturn in 1st House
Spouse can make you more disciplined. The negative would be they restrict/limit things in your life. However, sometimes this can be needed ex: spouse doesn't let you overspend. The spouse can bring stability.
You can marry someone respectable with a good reputation. Honest and hardworking person.
The spouse would be willing to make the marriage work. The marriage can be a responsibility they feel the need to maintain.
Despite what some believe, this is not a delayed marriage indicator. It doesn't indicate early marriage on its own either. It does indicate the marriage bringing stability into your life.
Regardless of if you marry, later in life you will prioritize your appearance. You can workout, consider/get surgeries, eat a healthy diet.
The negative part of this placement: It is said in a past life, you may have rejected rules/laws, disciplines and other saturn themes. Therefore, in this life you will have to deal with feeling rejected yourself. This can manifest as a low point in the marriage where you do not feel accepted for who you are, you could feel controlled and restricted. However, as I said earlier, the spouse would be willing to make the marriage work, they will resolve any issue with you.
And the above will not apply to everyone. There are other ways this rejection can manifest. Accuracy is dependent on ENTIRE d9 AND lagna chart. This post doesn't consider aspects, sign and depositors placement.
Jupiter in 4th House
There can be extra responsibilities in the home after marriage and/or later in life. This can be due to several reasons: many pets, many children, child needs extra care like help tutor them. These are possible examples but entire chart will influence this.
Later in life, you become a very wise person. You put selfish desires away to maintain harmony in the home. You look for the bigger picture - you look for what will benefit the entire family instead of what will feel good for you.
Ketu in 4th House
Often, this shows someone who lives far from their family after marriage. This doesn't always mean out of country, it can simply be a far away city. It can due to conflict or the move but later in life you are disconnected from your family (the one you come form, not the one you may create).
You know how some people's parents may pay or contribute for their wedding, their home, their kids, and things like that? Yours is not likely to do this. You are likely to lose contact or contact family less.
You can enjoy quiet and alone hobbies in the home. You may designate a space in the home for yourself. ex: home office, home library, place to sit on porch or backyard or balcony, etc.
This is one indicator for not liking your in-laws. This doesn't always mean there is conflict. It is likely do to not relating to them. They can have different beliefs or personalities from what you are used to. You simply may not enjoy spending time with them. However, this is only one indicator. For more insight, you should look at 8th House, 8th House ruler in both natal/lagna and d9/navamsa.
Moon in 7th House
This suggests a young spouse - unless aspected by Saturn or other placements contradict such as Saturn DK.
There can be an imbalance in what and who you put your energy toward after marriage. You can focus too much on the spouse and lose yourself.
The spouse or you can be moody. They can be romantic, youthful and giving when they are at their best. When stressed, they can become withdrawn.
Sun in 9th House
You can learn more after marriage. This can be due to marrying someone very different form you. After marriage, you begin to learn more about their way of thinking, their culture, their way.
You will always be interested in learning more. What you're learning will depend on entire lagna and d9.
You can become religious after marriage and/or later in life. You have more interest in religion.
You can have conflict with the elder sibling later in life.
Sun in 10th House
Marriage can bring status. Either you are well known/liked and you introduce your spouse to many or the other way around.
If well placed, this is a very good indicator for a blissful marriage. If badly placed, you will make people think the marriage is good when it is not.
The spouse can be interested in politics. Or you can become interested in politics later in life.
You can lose something in foreign lands with this placement. This doesn't mean you are always having a bad experience in foreign lands. However, at one point you will have very bad experience. examples I have seen: losing work laptop, love affair in foreign lands, fine in foreign lands due to a public policy that the person did not know existed in that country.
KEEP IN MIND FOR THESE ANALYSIS:
When something isn’t promised in natal, it will not happen. The D1 shows the sky you were born under, no other chart has power over D1.

elective cosmetic surgery is the devil to me both as som1 who believes we are all made in God's image and also as sm1 who believes that like. The underlying insecurity will not go away. u need to learn some degree of self acceptance if u dont want to live a miserable life

Cosmetic surgery is not “cosmetic,” and human flesh is not “plastic.” Even the names trivialize what it is. It’s not like ironing wrinkles in fabric, or tuning up a car, or altering outmoded clothes, the current metaphors. Trivialization and infantilization pervade the surgeons’ language when they speak to women: “a nip,” a “tummy tuck.” Rees writes, describing a second-degree acid burn over the face: “Remember when you were in school and you skinned your knee and a scab formed?” This baby talk falsifies reality. Surgery changes one forever, the mind as well as the body.

There is an article in a Dutch newspaper about how the beauty standards have gone way out of control and that taking part in self grooming to make yourself look better isn't really optional anymore, and instead is expected, and that it can financially benefit you if you are considered to be attractive. That if you're a woman, your wage can be up to 16% higher or lower depending on what you look like. They compared making yourself more conventionally attractive to getting a master's degree because it can have the same benefits.
It was also about how cosmetic surgery has become normalised, about AI models, male specific beauty standards and a little bit about incels.
Most of what was in the article wasn't new to me (though still an interesting read) but one thing did surprise and it was in the section about 'pretty privilige'. Men have convinced themselves that women, but specifically pretty women, cruise through life on easy mode because their looks get them through every door. Turns out from the research in this article, that it's actually men that benefit most from pretty privilege. That means that once again, men are projecting.

I think Dottore would force-hybridfy his darling, as in surgically becoming an incredibly dependent hybrid bc he wanted a new pet or whatever
tw - !!nonconsensual body modification!!!, nonconsensual touching, kidnapping, and unbalanced power dynamics.
to be fair, it isn't just because he thinks you'd look cuter with a fluffy tail and twitching ears. treating a human the way he wants to treat you is complicated. when you lock a human in a cage, wrap a collar around their neck and dress them up in flimsy, practically transparent costumes masquerading as clothes, people tend to do things like 'call the police' and 'take back your degree', but when you do the same things to a hybrid, no one bats an eye. it's unfair, really, that the same rules his menagerie of test subjects beloved pets live by don't apply to you, the assistant he just recently brought on to help around one of his more public-safety approved loss. you're such a doe-eyed thing, always tripping over your own feet and messing up your calculations whenever he so much as glances your way. it's only a shame you don't have the antlers to match.
you're less than agreeable to the process, but that's never stopped him before. altogether, it's a relatively noninvasive procedure - just a few shots, a minor cosmetic surgery or two, a dash of DNA splicing where your genes don't match up with his vision of what you ought to be. he makes sure you're comfortable, lets you sleep in one of his many observational rooms rather than the elaborate enclosure you'll soon prefer, and when you inevitably start to act like the animal you're meant to be, to bite at his fingertips and kick out when he tries to perform your daily full-body inspection, he takes it in-stride, opts to restrain and sedate you like an animal, too. he does intend to strain you properly, but that can wait until later on. your white freckles are just starting to come in, and yesterday, he found budding antlers beginning to poke through your scalp. you've lost a bit of your former eloquence, too, and he can tell you're thinking less, relying on instinct more, like any proper hybrid would. it's a shame you don't see the artistry in his work, but he's proud enough for the both of you. he's sure, once you let go of the stands of your humanity, you'll come around.
he's sure that, once you're no longer recognizable as anything near human, no one would have the heart to take his precious pet away from him.

Sherlock & Co - Mailbag Episode 4 Transcript
00:00-00:29 *Intro Music*
00:28 John: Hello there, Mister Flatmate.
00:31 Sherlock (Resigned): What is it and why have you got your laptop?
00:34 John: It’s that time! My fine fellow-
00:34 Sherlock: For goodness sake. *sounds of him moving on furniture*
00:36 John: Oi, where you going?
00:38 Sherlock: I’m getting my cushion.
00:39 John: Your cushion?
00:40 Sherlock: Yes. Here. This one.
00:42 John: That- that’s Mariana’s.
00:45 Sherlock: Ah, it’s mine.
00:46 John: I know it’s her’s. I bought it for her for Christmas.
00:50 Sherlock: Are you sure?
00:51 John: Yes, because you don’t support Real Sociedad and she does.
00:56 Sherlock: *pause* I could.
00:57 John: Yeah, you could, but you don’t. Ok- *gibbers* It doesn’t matter. Just sit on the bloody cushion. Fine. Qs! And indeed As! Here we go. Uh, ahem, mm, just a disclaimer here, to the patrons. Um. I’m old. Uh, I’m thirty-four. If-if I see a question in the Discord, I-I just ask it. Uh, if it’s in the wrong order or i-if I’ve missed some out. It’s-it’s probably just me not seeing it. So, y’know. Right-o! Uh-Ooo! Off to a flyer here! Milque asks, “Favorite tube line?”
01:29 Sherlock: Victoria.
01:30 Yeah, Victoria. Yeah, yeah. Generally, most Londoners will give that answer. Umm, y’know clean trains, not too many stops, and some big stations on there. Y’know King’s Cross, Euston, Oxford Circus, um Victoria, obviously. Um, some other lines worth mention: Bakerloo brings a certain vibe. B-bit of a sort of kooky, deranged, but pleasant elderly uncle that doesn’t wash kind of vibe. Uh, central line is possibly the most hated, ah, especially during the summer. Um, Piccadilly gets a lot of people headed to Heathrow, so it comes with a lot of baggage. Hah! Literally clambering over suitcases on that one. The Elizabeth line is amazing, but seems to be closed or delayed most of the time. Um, so thanks for listening to TubeCast!
02:20 John: Heh, right. Next question! SaraHawke722 asks, “How do you both know Stamford?” Stamo! The Stamster! I think therefore I Stam. Heh, uh, I-I added those bits. They didn’t say that. Uh, right. Sherlock you go first.
02:36 Sherlock: I met him at St. Bart’s.
02:39 John: That’s uh Saint Bartholemew’s Hospital in London
02:42 Sherlock: I know.
02:43 John: Yes, I know, I’m just telling the listener.
02:45 Sherlock: *pause* Right… I met him at St. Bart’s. There was a study on skin grafting that he was undertaking. I initially made a number of enquiries about the study, he then hired me to work with him on it. Then after that he wanted me on other projects that I didn’t find that interesting, but *with emphasis* he did let me use the lab.
03:03 John: Great, uh ok, um, I met Stamo in Freshes week at University. Um, the University of London. W-which is kind of affiliated with UCL and King’s College London.
03:15 Sherlock: By kind of affiliated, you mean it’s for their underachieving undergrads.
03:19 John: Uh, sorry mate, what University did you go to, exactly? *silence* Yeah, right, thought so. Uh, by the way, um, few of our American listeners have mentioned that you and Victor went to college together. College in the UK is sixteen to eighteen, generally speaking. Um, but, sorry Sherlock, posh lads will sometimes call boarding school a ‘college’. Uhh, I d-I don’t know why. They also call their private boarding schools ‘public schools’. So, yeah, I know. Weird lot. Uh, anyway, yeah, met Stamo at University of London in Freshes week, we both liked football. He’s a Villa fan, Aston Villa that is. We, we kinda were, uh, both out of our depth a little bit with medical degree life, so y’know maybe stuck together. Which. Which was stupid really as you should probably attach yourself to some smartarse, but hey! Y’know! Live and learn! Uh, he started to do well at Uni. Um, he went on to y’know big-big private practice and cosmetic surgery for the most part. And I got shot at for a living, so. Yeah. Listen in school, kids. Listen in school. Uh, WeirdScience asks “Do you believe in ghosts?”
04:32 Sherlock: No. Do you?
04:33 John: Uh, no. No, no. Joff asks “Sorry to be intrusive doctor, but did you suffer any hearing loss during your army days?” Pardon? *wheezing laugh* Ha, uhh no. No, seriously, I did. Um, I burst an ear drum, twice, um, actually, in Afghanistan. I-in my right ear. Uh, thought it was fine, but then after Ukraine when I was getting a full body M.O.T. as it were, there were signs of hearing loss. Um, yeah, but I’ve been lucky I think. I hope it doesn’t get worse as I’ve built my career in audio now. So. Yeah-yeah, but uh a little. A little bit. Um, JellyBaby says, “Dogs or Cats, podboys?”
05:18 Sherlock: I prefer vermin.
05:19 John: Hm. I uh prefer dogs, through and through. Yeah. Um, y’know I like a cat, but they don’t get me. Dogs get me. Ain’t that right, Arch? Heh. Uh, don’t know where he is actually. He’s probably downstairs with Mariana. Catonk asks, “What’s your favorite musical?” We-well it won’t be ‘Cats’! Hahaha! Ahh, Sherlock, your favorite musical?
05:43 Sherlock: What’s the one with the man?
05:46 John: The. The one with the man. Um. Right. You’ve just described the entirety of art and media there.
05:54 Sherlock: He has a piano and he lives in a cave.
05:57 John: Piano in a cave?
05:59 Sherlock: There’s a girl he loves. He-he-he’s got half a face.
06:01 John: Ohh! Phantom of the Opera.
06:04 Sherlock: Yes! I thought that one was okay.
06:07: Great. Yeah, no, it’s a good’un, it’s a good’un. Good answer, I like Phantom. I like Les Mis. I know that’s a boring answer, but some incredible songs in that. Uhhh, yeah. Question via email here from Sartori, “Did you feel bad for Violet Caruthers, because I did.” Um, well yeah, I did. Um. She, uh- I-I-I don’t know how to put it, really-
06:34 Sherlock (interjecting): Had given up control of her life.
06:36 John: Yeah, it was- I don’t know- confidence shot to shit? Th-th-the truest sort of victim I think I’ve ever seen, really. She just, uh, she couldn’t grasp the wheel on her own life. Like Sherlock says. Was that why you were reluctant on that case, Sherlock?
06:55 Sherlock: Very much so. Men had muscled in and filled the gaps she had created from her own insecurity. I didn’t wish to be yet another imposing presence.
07:05 John: But we were.
07:07 Sherlock: We were. And what good did it do?
07:10 John: Saved a bloke’s life?
07:11 Sherlock: Mm, we didn’t pull the trigger but we may as well have. And we set the process in motion.
07:18 John: Welllll… right. Yeah. Okay, didn’t think this q and a session would get so deep. Um. But, yeah, t-that, uh… Welcome to True Crime! *awkward huff laugh* Yeah, we don’t always run off or cycle off into the sunset. Um. Yeah. Uh, okay. Mush-Pit asks, “How many languages do you know?”
07:47 Sherlock: Many.
07:48 John: Great.Uh, why?
07:50 Sherlock: When I was young, I often fooled myself into thinking perhaps it was my grasp of language that was the reason that I didn’t quite fit in. So, I decided to try a number of other languages to see if they worked as a better and more effective means of communication. I wondered whether the nuance and subtle signals of the English language were what was holding me back from social environments. So, I attempted other languages.
08:14 John: Right, and how did that go?
08:15 Sherlock: It’s the same. It would appear it’s nothing to do with language.
08:20 John: Yeah, I’m inclined to agree with you there. I’m rubbish with languages. Ha, it never sticks for some reason. Um, hole in my brain I think. Mariana is also a dab hand at the old languages. She cracked open a bit of Russian the other day. I nearly ducked for cover! * laughs at his own joke* Uh, *clears through* RangerPip asks, “Have you seen any of the fan content Sherlock?”
08:42 Sherlock: Yes, because you keep showing me. And sticking things on the fridge.
08:46 John: Uh, yeah because they’re cool. They’re really good mate! Just-just you wait until I show you the presentation.
08:52 Sherlock: The what?
08:53 John: Nothing. Right question via email from Unbelted, “Does the fingerprint in your logo make an ‘S’ and is that deliberate?” Yes, um is the answer to that. My idea, thanks. Uh, Jones asks, “What’s our spice tolerance?” So, um, right. Okay, yeah. I can go really spicy for Indian. Uh, I can hit the searing temperatures of the Madras and the Vindaloo no problem. Lot of Brits can actually. But I tell you what, Indonesian and Thai spicing I feel. Geez, whew, that is-is a whole different realm of spice. Um…phew. S-sherlock?
09:32 Sherlock: I like the sensation.
09:35 John. Yep, uh. Anything else to add?
09:39 Sherlock: It depends on my emotional connection to the food.
09:42 John: Of course, of course. Well, a-a-as mentioned in Gloria Scott, Sherlock will only eat certain foods if he’s in the right mood. The mood for food, heh. Uh, right-o. Few general questions asking how pancake day went. Uh, yep. No dramas. Went well. Went ‘flipping’ great. Eh? Hehe. Uh, yeah, uh oo! Questions and comments. A lot from North American Podpals, uh, about me describing a woman as ‘tasty’. Um. So, ‘tasty’ is a Carol Watson word. Uh. T-t-the sort she would use for young, handsome men that she flirts with when she can. Um, don’t know what the American equivalent would be? Um? Yeah, you know, what’s a lame word used to describe someone as good looking? Y’know what would an elderly woman use basically…get in touch! Right, another question here. Uh, by the way, when I started this whole question and answer thing, Goalhanger and I thought this would be a great way to field questions about cases. Um. Y’know about the people we meet, about the nature of the crimes we’ve dealt with, uh to fill in possible knowledge gaps, and impart little gems of information that expose the murky nature of crime. Um. Which takes us to this question from Saphhster, “John, what are your thoughts on ranch dressing?” *long pause* I mean, yeah. I like it. I like it, it’s good stuff. Um, Sherlock is nodding. Uh, it’s audio mate. Great. Thanks for your contribution. Uh, Tonky asks, “Does Sherlock have any tattoos?” Apart from my face on his bum. Heh, that’s a joke. That’s a joke, don’t write in. Sherlock, tattoos?
11:26 Sherlock: A spiral on my hip.
11:28 John: What?! Alright, well let’s see! Get it out. *sound of clothes being moved/removed* Oh, well that’s rubbish.
11:34 Sherlock: I know.
11:35 John: Why’d you get that done?
11:36 Sherlock: I-it’s scarring from falling out of bed. I had it filled in because it looked like a spiral.
11:42 John: Okay. Sarah Hawke again with a question, “What is your advice about dealing with a noisy flatmate? Would love both your takes on this lol. I’m at Uni and have a noisy and slightly annoying flatmate. Somehow I’ve agreed to live with them next year as well.” Um, okay Sara Hawke, w-
12:03 Sherlock (cutting John off): Try to tune them out as best you can. Bring in other elements to distract you from their noisiness.
12:09 John (cutting Sherlock off): Sorry, what are you doing?
12:10 Sherlock: Answering wonky-blonk’s question.
12:12 John: It’s not ‘Wonky-Blonk’, it’s Sarah Hawke. Who’s Wonky-Blonk?
12:15 Sherlock: They’re all called that.
12:17 John: Look, I live with a noisy flatmate, alright, it’s clearly directed at me.
12:20 Sherlock: They said both of us.
12:21 John: Yeah, but they added a ‘lol’, okay. That means they recognize the irony of you being asked.
12:26 Sherlock: Why?
12:27 John: Because you initiate a fucking marching band at three am every night. Ssssake. Uh, yeah, Sarah Hawke, I would say get some earbuds. Play music. Uh, white noise is good. Um, oh, I l-looked into this. You can get quite cool soundproofing panels on Amazon. Um, they don’t look awful and they do kind of work. Sometimes. Uh, yeah, right, anyway. That’s it. Thanks for the ‘Qs’, hope you liked the ‘As’ and we will see you soon. He’s wav-He’s waving. It’s. It’s audio m- For god’s sake-

Observing cosmetic surgery with astrology 💉
Depending on the chart you use. You can find where in your chart you could possibly get plastic surgery for. Today I will be using vedic astrology and looking at people's Venus persona chart (in Tropical).
Natal chart
Kehlani has her Mars in Cancer at 24° in the 2nd house and she has gotten breast implants before (she stated in a interview [11:55] that she has gotten them recently removed). Kehlani saw comments that were body shaming her and out of insecurity, she got cosmetic surgery. Which explains the 2nd house, the 2nd house is about security and comfort, if Kehlani had gotten the implants with the intention for her own self esteem, she would have had enjoyed them more but since she did it out of insecurity, it negatively impacted her self esteem even more. 24° is the degree of Pisces, Kehlani said her breast implants were making her sick and feel "physically older". Pisces can make things illusive and portray a fulfilled fantasy, but eventually the watery energy can make one experience issues with their mental health. After Kehlani consulted with multiple doctors and discovered her implants were the problem, she had realized the mood swings, depression, body aches, etc, were because of the cosmetic surgery. With her Cancer ruling her Mars, it could explain why it was physically starting to deteriorate her body.
Solar return chart
Kylie Jenner got her lip fillers in 2015, she has her Natal Uranus, Jupiter, and Saturn in the 1st house. In her solar return chart, her Uranus transitions into Aries. Aries rules the head. With the Solar Return Uranus being at 20°, which is the sign of Scorpio, it could explain why within the following years her physical experience continued to drastically transform. Kylie also experienced an increase in popularity and her allure was admired by many people. Kylie's solar return Pluto transitioned into her 1st house. Her lip fillers and cosmetic surgeries impacted a whole generation to imitate her look and change their style. Kylie's Jupiter in the 8th house can also apply to her finances. Her overall abundance and wealth was changed forever. She then proceeded to start her business and released Kylie Cosmetics on November 30th, 2015.
Venus persona chart
In Nicki Minaj's Venus persona chart, she has her pluto and ascendant in Libra, while Pluto being in her 1st house. Nicki's body has been a hot topic for years and has been infamously known for her voluptuous figure and large derriere. Many have had questioned Nicki Minaj on her big butt, after it being a nonstop discussion for years, Nicki's responded in her song "Only": "Don't worry about if my butt fake". People thought Nicki was denying she had work done but if you pay attention to her discography, she stated in her feature with Big Sean's hit song "A$$" that she had gotten ass shots (AKA butt injections).
"Kiss my ass and my anus, 'cause it's finally famous
And it's finally soft, yeah, it's finally solved
I don't know, man, guess them ass shots wore off"
With Libra being her ascendant, Nicki's body has always been naturally curvy. With her Pluto being at 28° and the degree being in Cancer. Her body weight could tend to fluctuate due to hormones or become more plump during pregnancy or after childbirth. This could also mean that her butt has been a sensitive subject for her and could make her very emotional. In a recent interview, Nicki Minaj discusses the work she has gotten done and has said the things Lil Wayne and his friends would say in the studio about women with big butts had made her feel self conscious about her body. Nicki considers Lil Wayne as her mentor and said that he is like family to her, so since 28° (Cancer) can tie into your home or family matters. That could explain why it hit close to her heart for her and why she felt pressured to fit into a certain beauty standard. Her ascendant being at 1° (Aries) can explain why she had work done to compete in a male dominated industry and obtain her spot as one of the top female rappers in the industry. Nicki Minaj's beauty, talent, and skills played a major part in her success.
Could you get cosmetic work done as well? Here are some indicators to look for in your chart.
Positive indications of a successful cosmetic surgery:
Natal ascendant trine venus, pluto, jupiter, or mars
Jupiter in the 1st, 7th, or 8th house
Aries, Cancer, Libra, Sagittarius, or Scorpio ascendant, pluto, jupiter, or venus in your natal/solar return chart
Pluto conjuct/trine ascendant or in the 1st house
Venus conjuct/trine ascendant or in the 1st house
Uranus conjuct/trine ascendant or in the 1st house
Neptune conjuct/trine ascendant or 1st house
Virgo in Venus or Jupiter
Cancer, Libra, Taurus, Sagittarius, or Aquarius Jupiter
Venus or Libra/Taurus in the 6th house
Leo, Libra, Pisces, Virgo, or Aquarius in the big 3.
Venus, Uranus, or Pluto dominance or Libra, Aquarius, or Scorpio stellium
Positive aspects to Rahu
Negative indications of a unsuccessful cosmetic surgery:
Natal 22 degrees (mars, pluto,or saturn)
Donda West, Kanye West's mother, has her Natal mars at 22 degrees (her birth time is unconfirmed so we are using universal time which is noon). She died on November 10th, 2007. Her Mars transitioned into Taurus at 12°. 12° is the degree of Pisces. Since 22° is known as the "kill or be killed degree", the surgery was too drastic for her health. Her Venus being at 29° in her Solar Return chart is why her death became such a big discussion in the world of cosmetic surgery.
Mars dominance or Aries dominance.
Mars Square ascendant
Pluto Square ascendant
Saturn Opposite ascendant
Gemini, Capricorn, or Cancer.
If you have a Saturn dominance or Capricorn stellium. Surgery is not recommended. These people have prominent bone structures and it is obvious when they try to change it
Gemini also have an obvious duality and have unique features. Their appearance could be questioned but it could be hard to pin point what's different about them.
In vedic strology, Ariana Grande has her rising sign in Sagittarius at 28° (Gemini degree) as well as a Aries Venus. Her change in physical appearance has been a big controversy and included in a lot of heated debates on social media (Ariana has been called out multiple times for cultural appropriation). She can be impulsive when it comes to getting work done and instead of fixing the problem, she adds to it
Negative aspects to Rahu

Pageant Politics from your fav radfem
Beauty Pageants have been the battleground for discourse regarding that of gender, power, and identity within the broader context of feminist movements, reflecting the societal obsession with female beauty which acts as the manifestation of patriarchal control over women’s bodies.
The origins themselves of beauty pageants and contests can be traced back to both the mediaeval period but also to that of ancient mythological traditions where female beauty was the focal point of cultural narratives, for instance contests as such were referenced in greek mythology; symbolising the roots of such idealisation and competition of beauty. However, the modern americentric beauty pageant which is relevant as a case study owed much of its development and early cultivation to P. T. Barnum who endeavoured to host a beauty pageant in 1854, although it was met with public disapproval it is said to have laid the groundwork for future pageant cultures. Barnum’s vision shifted the idea of the beauty contest from a mere cultural ideal and towards a commercialised spectacle.
This rise within mass media and popular culture is what gave rise to the emanation of Miss America in 1921 as it was originally brought about in order to extend Atlantic City’s tourist season. Evolving from a local promotional event and into a national spectacle, it became a symbol of American values surrounding beauty, femininity, and success. Leading to the commodification of female bodies and the reduction of them to objects of male desire through pageant cultures.
In somewhat ironic fashion, pageant culture shares a historical lineage with that of the women’s suffrage movement, wherein the suffragists of the early 20th century used pageantry as a means of political activism. And when the pageant, Miss America, was initially established in 1921 they used a sash which was their most recognisable and integral feature yet instead of bearing the political slogans that their predecessors fashioned, their sashes were adorned with the names of cities and states.
Naomi Wold sets forth the idea of a so-called “beauty myth” as a more modern means of control in the wake of the gains made by the second wave feminist movement. Her argument hinges on the basis that beauty is not universally or naturally standardised but a cultural construct designed to enforce and maintain gender hierarchies.
She introduces the notion of the “iron maiden” which describes the unattainable ideal of beauty which entraps women in relentless cycles of both self doubt but also regulation.
This is corroborated later by Bordo who analyses the body as a site of cultural inscription and aligns this with Wolf’s contention that female bodies are the vessels of patriarchal control. Bordo expands on this through her evaluation on how eating disorders, cosmetic surgery, and body modifications all reflect the pressures which discipline female bodies into conformity with patriarchal ideals.
One can look at this through Foucault’s concept of biopower, as Foucault explores the way in which power is not only filtered through and operated through institutions but also through the body and self-regulation. He proposes that modern forms of power and less overt and external but rest more on the subtle and internalised forms of discipline, a form a power which operates not through explicitly domination but through the shaping of the norm which leads individuals to regulate themselves to these prescribed norms. Therefore, beauty standards which are set forth by pageant culture operate as a form of biopower and on a collective level which has the ability to govern the behaviour and choices of women on mass decrees. Wolf’s propounded idea of the beauty myth not only oppresses women to an external degree but infiltrates their consciousness under the guise of personal choice or empowerment.

Dawntrail Benchmark Vs My WoLs
First of all, for those of you that missed it, the benchmark is available for download:
The rest of this post is gonna be under a cut as I'll be posting 6.0 vs 7.0 pics of my characters, and my thoughts comparing them.
First up is Luki, and her eyes pop like crazy! They feel like the most details thing about her and that's... well, they're nice to look at, but they don't feel like they fit the rest of her. I think it's less the eyes themselves as much as the skin texture... it's weird and... flat? I can't decide if she looks caked in foundation or like she's made of rubber.
I've notied that the quality of most viera ears' textures don't match the hairs at all. It's really jarring.
The freckles are even harder to see too. And I much prefer the shape of her eyes in 6.0.
Next up is Lokin, who's ears suffer the same problem as Luki's, but overall I'm really happy with his look. He's even more handsome than before!
His eyes also look like they belong to him (unlike Luki's).
Now let's move on to my old main, Kikilu. Somehow, she's looks even more adorable! I really can't complain about anything specifically regarding her.
Alright, on to Kitani, who also looks great! I prefer the shade of 6.0 hair, but hopefully that's something I can tweak. It seems a lot of the hair colours have changed a little.
The only other things are that their fangs are nowhere near as prominent as they were before, and the clan markings seems to have faded too.
I've also just noticed that her eyebrow colour doesn't match her hair. Hmm. Let's hope they fix that, or give us options to pick eyebrow colour seperately.
On to Chisaki, who really does look different. Um, I'm loving her eyes and eyebrows, but there's something really off about her lip shape. I don't hate her look at all though.
⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂ ⠂⠄⠄⠂☆
Overall, everyone's faces have varying degrees of an artifical look to them now, and all the colours seem duller to me (note that all the above screenshots were taken as SquareEnix intends you to see them - without external shaders).
I'm probably one of the few that, while I hugely welcome graphical updates, thinks they should have kept the character features looking as much the same as possible. And that seems to have happened with some, but not with others. Midlanders, both male and female, seem to have really gone through some unsolicited cosmetic surgery, while the majority of the others escaped with a few unavoidable tweaks.
I really hope everyone offers their feedback, positive or negative, to the devs (in a decent manner). And I hope that, by the graphical update's implementation, we all feel happy with our characters. They're so important to us and our enjoyment of the game.
(Yes, I've tried with different levels (including 0) of gamma correction.)

Can I have top surgery and be overweight? The Truth.
I am here to clear things about being overweight and top surgery (aka double mastectomy).
Can I have chest surgery if I am overweight? Blanket answer, yes you can.
HOWEVER, let's talk about some things first.
As soon as we peek under my blanket statement, most doctors will not want to touch you if you are too far outside their BMI index. Sounds like a preference, right? I mean, true, but they are a business and, like any other business, can refuse service for any reason. Especially when your life is in their hands.
The BMI index is followed to a degree by most plastic surgerons. This index is not to body shame you in this case. It is strictly for medical reasons. There are many medical reasons to refuse the surgery.
As you lay flat on your back, your own weight presses on your lungs and heart. This can actually cause damage your heart and lungs and also restrict your breathing even further.
Anesthesia issues are a lot deeper than most people realize. It is not just a harmless gas to keep you asleep. Anesthesia is poisonous to us, and it does more harm to your body the longer you are under its direct effect. Also, the more you weigh, the more they have to use. The best anesthesiologists in the world probably would have a hard time with this, especially depending on how long you can potentially be under. The more you weigh means more tissue they need to work with and extra time can mean complications not only while under the drug but can cause many complications after the procedure is done, and even when you wake up. Issues include headaches/migranes, intense nausea, vertigo like symptoms, having a hard time passing urine, lack of gross and fine motor functions, brain functions, paralysis, coma, and death.
Blood flow issues for people who are overweight are a real risk. The skin has stretched over time , and more skin, along with viable tissue, is thinner, with less of a blood supply being delivered to the skin and tissues itself.
Being overweight also means your skin is stretched and no longer has the same elasticity as if you were not overweight. This thin skin is easy to pull apart/tear.
Time in the operating room, more is not better. The longer you are being operated on, the more complications can occur during the procedure and during the healing process. (This is also a general risk)
Upping complications means more likely needing revisions. Plastic surgerons take this into consideration for your health. Insurance probably won't shell out for the same operation twice because of the views on transitioning lead to a lot of "this is just cosmetic."
Diabetes exponentially increases risk of infection and potential necrosis and gangrene (death of tissue).
You are a living canvas for the plastic surgeron(s), your results reflect highly on them. They want the best results for you, but they also have a reputation to upkeep.
If the surgeon gives a condition they consider reasonable and the patient does not produce results near their actual target BMI, which tends to be more liberal than the numbers that are thrown around, the surgeon can question the patients ability to be able to take care of themselves and adhere to the strict rules given for post operative care. A surgeon can also think "does this person want it bad enough if they can't do this request?". They may not say that out loud, but they may think it.
The heavier you are, the harder it is on your body to heal because the extra work your body needs to do to do daily tasks, let alone extra tasks yet also rest.
You do not realize how much and how often you use your chest muscles. Getting out of bed without being able to lift yourself up is really a thing. Using those muscles in some cases can cause rips and tears of stitches, tissues, and muscles.
Surgeons will give you realistic, cis-like results with your chest, this may mean you will not have a flat chest, they may perform more of a reduction than a double mastectomy. Surgeons will make your chest look proportional to your body, hence another surgery if you do lose weight.
Do they want you to have bad results? This is a physical correction to make a positive mental impact if you have bad results post-op. This may not really fulfill the function of procedures purpose to help you like your body.
Doctors want to know you want this surgery, so if they give you a time frame and you don't meet their goals, that's fair. You may have seen your day to day but the surgeron didn't and doesn't care. To them, you didn't meet their goals/ requirements. No surgeon wants to lose their job, role, or status.
Surgeons only want what's best for your health. It's not a shaming conspiracy, it's literally just biology.
Waiting sucks, we know. But what sucks more is that having bad results, you will have forever and potentially risking your life.

SOLAR RETURN Predictions - One
Feel free to share your experiences or comments.
I may do more predictions rather than observations for this month. This gives the chance for people with similar placements to be able to predict their own SR.
QUICK PREDICTIONS:
- Romantic relationship - may not last.
- Focus on appearance - appearance will change: working out, possible surgery (needed or cosmetic)
- Social year, expand network- new friends, followers.
- Public image is a point of pain this year - gossip, bullying, etc. May be a result of the new romance - ex: drama with their ex, drama in their social networks.
FURTHER ANALYSIS/EXPLANATION:
APPEARANCE, GENERAL FOCUS:
SR ASC in Leo
This shows a year where this person is likely to be: extroverted, social, outgoing.
SR ASC Ruler (Sun) in 5th
This emphasizes the leo energy in this chart. This person is likely to be interested in socializing, romance, and experiencing joy. They can become the center of attention (for good or bad). Leo energy can sometimes manifest as unwanted drama in social life.
SR Sun conjunct Pluto
This will occur in this person’s chart every year. While this can be deeply troubling, this person will be used to this.
In 11th H, the social aspect is even further emphasized. Since natal Jupiter is in 11th, this person may expand their social network (ex:followers or genuine friends).
Asc conjunct Mars
This adds to one’s motivation and drive. At 6 degrees + SR Saturn in 6th H, this person could be motivated to become health & routine orientated. They may exercise more often. They can become very disciplined about this. They can become critical of themselves as well - 6 is a virgo degree & mars is sometimes a hostile energy.
They can become very focused on their routine and job too. However, lack of 10th H activity in this chart indicates this is more likely to manifest as personal health and routine rather than what one does for work.
Mars Retrograde in 11th House
Mars placement can show where there may be hostility and conflict at some point. In retrograde, this person may reflect on their social network.
When direct, it can show a person may cut out certain people from their life.
Due to natal Jupiter being here & SR Mars in retrograde, they may actually go back to certain friendships instead of cutting out.
SR South Node conjunct ASC
This shows a draining/decrease of oneself. When paired with their asc conjunct mars + saturn in 6th, this shows this person could be at risk of burnout. They may workout to their own detriment - ex: illness, injury, negative thoughts focused on one’s body/appearance. Injury is even more likely as SR ASC conjunct Mars can show being prone to accidents.
Natal First House Ruler (Venus) conjunct Pluto
This shows transformation in appearance. This along with SR ASC conjunct Mars + SN conjunct ASC shows this person will become very focused on changing their appearance. Pluto can indicate obsession. This person may become obsessed with obtaining a certain physical appearance.
SR Pluto & Mars in this chart can even show surgery. This person could undergo cosmetic or necessary surgery.
RELATIONSHIPS:
This person is HIGHLY likely to enter a romantic connection this year. They have several indicators.
SR North Node conjunct DSC:
North node brings increase. When conjunct the DSC, it shows huge developments in relationships. For this person specifically it is likely a person coming into their life.
SR VENUS CONJUNCT PLUTO in 5th H:
This is another indicator of big changes in romance. For a person who is single, this shows romance coming into one’s life.
SR DSC conjunct Neptune in 5th H:
This shows this person should be cautious with this new connection. They may be dreaming about a specific type of person and miss the actual person.
They may overlook red flags in a person because they desire being in a relationship.
SR MOON in 7th H:
This further indicates they should be cautious. Moon shows fluctuation where it is placed. It is not a stable energy.
7th H Ruler Transit 11th H
The natal 7th H ruler (mars) is in 11th. This can indicate meeting this person through your social network, social media, at a social event, etc.
SR MOON ARIES:
This shows despite the warning this person will be very quick to enter this connection. This new person comes in fast and things can move fast. Things may end just as fast too.
SR CHIRON Conjunct Vertex in 7th H:
This shows a fated heartbreak. This may be due to the new connection. It may be due to desiring a specific connection but not getting it. It may be due to relationships (romantic, friends or business) treating you poorly.
MOON at 8 degrees, NN at 2 degrees in 7th H
The person coming in may show prominent Scorpio & Taurus traits. They may be intense, possessive, stubborn. While Moon suggests the connection may have something unstable about it, this person may be a serious and stable person.
However, again when looking at the full chart I would suggest being cautious. This person is at risk of betrayal or embarrassment - a public one too. This is due to SR MC conjunct SR CHIRON + SR DSC conjunct NEPTUNE.
CAREER, PUBLIC IMAGE:
SR MC conjunct SR CHIRON & Vertex
This shows difficulty in public reputation. This person’s natal chiron is conjunct mercury - this person may experience bullying/be the target of gossip.
Since it occurs in 7th H, it may have to do with relationships. Potentially, this new person/connection brings in drama. For EX: Drama w their ex, drama in their social circles, etc.
Nothing signifiant seems to be going on in regard to career or money. The person is motivated to make more as MARS squares Natal 2nd H placements. They may not truly enjoy their work this year. The drama could be coming from the workplace too.
HOME, FAMILY:
SR Mercury conjunct South Node:
This has to do with home/family since natal Mercury is in 4th. There can be a decrease in regard to home and family.
This person is more likely to be focused on friendships and romantic relationships. They can communicate less with the family.
This is not a strong indicator of moving but this person may spend less time at home. This is more of a social and outgoing year.
SR Saturn in 6th H:
This relates to home and family since Saturn is natal 4th H ruler. In 6th, it shows conflict with family and home life. You can be emotionally distant. You can experience conflict in the home. With moon here, it will make you stronger but likely a painful experience.
SR IC conjunct SR LILITH
This further emphasizes this person is somewhat of an outsider to their home and family this year. At worst, this is due to conflict.

Arturo's talent confuses me a lot
Okay so on this fine 12:30 PM I was thinking about the newest QnA, and how DRDTDev said this in it
And it was always something that intrigued me a lot because I really could not figure out what it meant or why the exact ages of the cast were kept hidden. That is, until I started thinking about everyone's favorite(...?) Ultimate Plastic Surgeon, Arturo Giles. Specifically, his talent in question. Because to put it bluntly: How in the everliving FUCK is Arturo a Plastic Surgeon at his age Now you might wonder just what I mean by that, and as such let me run you down the requirements to be a plastic surgeon in the US from what I have researched:
Now obviously these are only three sources, and this is mainly referring to the US because that is where DRDT takes place, but the point still stands. For Arturo to become a licensed plastic surgeon, he would have to go through a six year program/residency for plastic surgery, obtain a bachelor's degree (or I guess whatever Hope's Peak's version of a bachelors degree is) which is canonically a four-year university in the DRDTverse, as WELL as an extra four years in medical school.
(Now fair warning, I am not the best when it comes to reading comprehension, so there might be some things in the screenshots I linked that I ultimately missed. And if so, you're allowed to (politely) point it out to me !) Even if there are a few things I misread, it still brings into question how Arturo obtained his talent when you look at his possible age Now obviously, as I mentioned before, the DT cast's actual age is a spoiler. But that doesn't mean we can't speculate based on the information we do have from the series
(A challenger has approached: Min Jeung /j) This line from the first bonus episode is the closest thing we get to a clear-cut age for the DT cast, where Unnamed Classmate / Mai says that Min is 18. Unfortunate jinxing aside, this also brings back up the fact that Hope's Peak in the DTverse is a four-year university course akin to US college (I'll actually include a screenshot this time)
So it can be assumed that this bonus episode (and I assume Xander's), takes place during their first year at Hope's Peak, and assuming that the rest of the cast is the same age they were all 18-19 during their first year. But that isn't all ! As remember, these guys have their HPA memories snatched from them, so let's cover that as well
Now, we don't know how long "a few years" could be. It could be only one year like Rose said initially, it could be two, three, hell ten for all we know. However, Min (as posted before) and Xander don't seem to have aged that much in comparison to their current appearences. So I'm going to assume (keyword here, assume) that about three years at most have been taken from them. as that would put them largely around the end of HPA. So with all of this in mind, that would mean that Arturo is around 19-22 during the events of the death game, but even with that considered, that still means that Arturo was scouted and given the title of Ultimate Plastic Surgeon at 18. And that is where my confusion lies since that...is basically impossible DRDT-Dev has clearly thoroughly researched all of the talents of the cast and how they work in the DTverse and in general seems to be very intricate when it comes to their writing, so I highly doubt they would make an oversight like this. There has got to be a reasoning for this. And I can think of three possible ones 1. Arturo is some kind of prodigy in the medical and cosmetic surgery field which could've led to him becoming a plastic surgeon much earlier in life than one typically would 2. Arturo is just straightup lying about his ultimate talent for whatever reason, possibly fabricating the license on his coat. He's obviously not faking his medical knowledge as we've seen in the actual series, but him faking his ultimate isn't exactly ruled out 3. The DRDT cast are much older then we or they realize, and there is another reason why they still look to be in their early 20s (I swear to god if this turns out to be some virtual world shit I am actually going to go insane /lh)
...Or the 4th reason that being I AM looking too deep into this, but whatever it's fun to overanalyze this shit Please let me know what you think, I'd love to hear other people's opinions on this !
