We all carry a certain amount of darkness in us that consume us almost daily. We all believe that we are meant to carry the weight alone considering we are fighting in our own world. The point of family and friends are having those around you that you can depend on when you need it. We all go through situations battling feelings and thoughts we don't want to win. But face it times get tough sometimes and it Seem's easier to let go, I get it. But never forget that pain you hold creates a certain strength that is meant to change you for the better. If you are the one helping or the one needing help, just remember we have all been in the same position at one point or another. Needing help doesn't make you weak it makes you stronger for going after that better life! * Stay safe and breathe deeply, hold out your hands, hold each other tight, this life is rough. That's why we need to do our best to be there for the ones we love*

Speaking up for yourself and enforcing boundaries is a form of self-love. If we struggle to see ourselves as worthy we can get discouraged and fail to inform the people around us about our boundaries. To encourage self-love and help reduce anxiety around worthiness try this mindfulness activity a few times this week!

POST FOR ih8marysues PART 2
the fact that I haven't upset my story by following your reviews depends first of all on the fact that, when your criticisms refer to the technical side they are not at all explanatory, such as the bad characterization of the characters you were talking about in your criticisms. ok, you wrote that they are badly characterized, but develop this criticism, otherwise I can't get to the root of the problem and solve it. it's useless to say "you wrote this scene badly" and then not explain anything. a criticism to be constructive and therefore helpful to the author, must be well developed, otherwise it's useless. I also noticed that in your reviews you attack a lot of futility such as the title of the fanfic, the meme, the plot that I chose to tell, etc… obviously, I put the plot that I chose to develop, because I tell what I have in my head and that I want to share with others, I'm the one who decides, the important thing is that it is well written from the technical side. when telling a plot, you don't have to care what I choose to tell, but you have to care how I tell it, that is the technical side, because I need the latter in the reviews, not to hear me say that the title sucks, that you want me to only tell what you like or that you don't like the meme related to the fanfic. those are futility. if you don't like what I tell, I will try to improve, but you are not forced to self-torture reading something that you don't find satisfactory. if you really want to help me with my work, then contact me privately, so you can express your ideas, give me support in writing dialogues, in translation, etc… it's useless to stay in that limbo where you write reviews in which you only hint at what you think, without ever developing your thoughts. on grammar and vocabulary, I ask forgiveness, english is not my native language, i am italian, so it's normal for me to make mistakes and use translate, for more complex texts that go beyond my limited knowledge of the anglophone language. In addition, I translate the texts over and over again to prevent translate from distorting what I write. it's difficult to write english, thinking in italian. among other things in terms of grammar and vocabulary they come out much better when i write them in my native language the chapters. i wanted to use more precise translators, but i don't want to spend money on various subscriptions to use the service. I apologize for the papyrus, but I had to clarify some issues, especially because he/she wrote a few aggressive reviews and so I'm curious to understand the thoughts of this person. thanks to those who will read.
PS: in one of your latest reviews you were able to offend not only the original work, because if you say that my fanfic is a copy and paste and then say that it is badly done, you imply that the original product is also badly written (which could also be partly true), but you also insulted those who appreciate my fanfic by saying that, "whoever appreciates this fanfic is a person who likes to waste their time watching paint dry on walls". so you subtly called an idiot those who appreciate this work, whether it is beautiful or ugly. A review should never be offensive.

How to Reduce Stress Fast: Try the 4-7-8 Breathing Method
Stress is a common part of daily life, but managing it effectively is essential for maintaining mental and physical well-being. One effective technique to reduce stress quickly is the 4-7-8 Breathing Method, which can help calm the mind and relax the body. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Sit comfortably with your back straight.
Find a quiet space and sit in a comfortable position. Ensure your back is straight to allow for full and deep breaths.
Step 2: Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 4.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. Focus on filling your lungs completely.
Step 3: Hold your breath for a count of 7.
Hold your breath for a count of 7. This pause allows oxygen to reach your bloodstream and helps relax your body further.
Step 4: Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 8.
Exhale gently and slowly through your mouth for a count of 8. Let all the tension melt away as you breathe out.
Repeat this cycle 3-4 times, and you will notice a reduction in your stress levels almost immediately. Practicing this technique regularly can help you feel calmer and more centered.

Character Education Made Easy: Teaching Emotional Skills with a Story
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/69c992b9262f968a0db05852d0201512/6b5afd8651cafb53-3d/s540x810/9c0eff0ddc26a6dafd3fe67387818e0ad96bbade.jpg)
Teaching young children about emotions and self-control is essential for their social and emotional development. The story Angry Ken and the Tower That Fell provides a relatable and engaging way to help preschool and primary students learn emotional regulation. This lesson plan combines storytelling with hands-on activities, encouraging children to identify feelings, practice calming techniques, and develop teamwork skills. Whether in a classroom or homeschool setting, this plan is perfect for fostering self-awareness and character development in kids.
Benefits of Using the Story to Teach Character Education
Stories like Angry Ken and the Tower That Fell are powerful tools for character education. They allow children to see situations they can relate to while learning valuable life skills like empathy, patience, and problem-solving. Through Ken’s journey, kids understand that feeling angry is okay, but it’s important to manage those feelings in a healthy way. This story not only teaches emotional regulation but also reinforces the importance of teamwork and positive communication, laying the foundation for strong social and emotional skills.

Lesson Plan: Angry Ken and the Tower That Fell
Grade Level: Preschool to Primary (Ages 4–8) Duration: 40 minutes Objective:
Students will learn to identify and name emotions.
Students will practice techniques for calming down, such as deep breathing.
Students will understand the importance of self-control and teamwork.
Materials:
Printed or digital copy of the story Angry Ken and the Tower That Fell.
Building blocks or stacking toys.
Emotion flashcards (happy, sad, angry, scared, etc.).
Drawing materials (crayons, markers, and paper).
Optional: calming music or audio for breathing exercises.
Lesson Structure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes)
Greet students warmly and ask:
“How are you feeling today? Can you show me your face when you’re happy? How about when you’re mad?”
Show emotion flashcards and ask students to name the feelings.
Explain: “Today, we’re going to read a story about a boy named Ken. Ken feels really mad when something happens. Let’s find out what he does to feel better!”
2. Reading the Story (15 minutes)
a. First Reading (10 minutes):
Read the story Angry Ken and the Tower That Fell aloud, using expressive voices for the characters.
Pause during interactive parts:
“What would you do if your tower fell? Show me your mad face!”
“Let’s practice deep breathing together: Smell the flowers, blow out the candles.”
“Can you name some feelings Ken might be having right now?”
b. Quick Review (5 minutes):
Ask questions to check comprehension:
“Why was Ken so mad?”
“What did Ken do to calm down?”
“How did Ken and Mia work together at the end?”
3. Interactive Activities (15 minutes)
a. Activity 1: Build and Rebuild (10 minutes):
Divide students into pairs (or work with a parent in a homeschool setup).
Give each group building blocks.
Ask them to build a tower together. After the tower is complete, gently knock it over or have one person pretend to accidentally bump it.
Guide students through the process of calming down:
“Take a deep breath! Smell the flowers, blow out the candles!”
“Now let’s try rebuilding the tower together like Ken and Mia.”
b. Activity 2: Draw Your Feelings (5 minutes):
Give each student paper and crayons.
Ask: “Can you draw a picture of what Ken felt when the tower fell? How about how he felt after he calmed down?”
Invite students to share their drawings and explain their pictures.
4. Wrap-Up and Reflection (5 minutes)
Gather students and ask:
“What did we learn from Ken today?”
“Can you show me how to take deep breaths like Ken?”
“Why is it important to calm down when we feel mad?”
Praise students for participating and practicing emotional regulation.
Extension/Home Activity:
Send home an activity sheet:
A simple maze or coloring page of Ken and his tower.
Space for kids to draw or write about how they feel when they are mad and what they do to feel better.
Encourage families to read the story again and practice deep breathing together.
Notes for Teachers/Parents:
Be patient with younger children as they learn to name emotions.
Reinforce positive behavior by praising efforts to calm down.
Adapt activities for individual or group settings as needed.
