#how dare he say that to me#all i’ve been doing these past two weeks was declittering the house#i have cleaned out the entire bathroom and the goddamn kitchen so that theres space and everything has its own place#and there’s no expired things#and now there is an actual space to put groceries inside#and today i wanted to do the komoda in our dining room which btw doubles as his home office but also is on the middle of the goddamn house s#so you Have to go through it to go anywhere right#and he just asked if i’m finishing the cleanup now so i sad No cause i work 6 more hours - so after work#and he has the halls to get mad at me that i half as stuff and that the vacuum will be out here for the next two days cause i won’t do it#and that i left a crystal vase on the dining table for two weeks now and haven’t touched it like I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO DO EVEYTHING ALL AT#once okay!!! i will do it don’t talk to me like that#and going back to the dining room being his office it means every flat space is covered with his documents and i mean every#it’s the messiest shot ever cause he doesn’t think to keep it clean#and i’m the one that makes the mess#and now he tells me not to throw things cause i put down the remote loudly like i will do as i freaking please cause i’m furious and he has#ruined my good mood#all he has done after me cleaning is be mad that he can’t find things like i haven’t moved anything nowhere he just doesn’t even bother to#search if he doesn’t see smth immediately he gets mad and says we always hide stuff from him to annoy him#absolutely no gratitude from either of my parents i hate it here more often than not

In the middle of beginning to try and declitter our room and I got hit with the first wave of fatigue during my third pacing break 😭
And it doesn't help that our cat is now holding me hostage AND the storm system moving above us is having Negative Effects on the body-
Might have to call it a night once I organize the clothing bins

That was only three minutes of exercise? It felt like a lot! But that's... probably a good thing. I didn't slack off. I packed a lot in. Okay, I'll think about adding more over time.
So, to add even more good news to this, I spent a solid hour decluttering the dining table (always weeks overdue, for real. It's a very hot, hot spot), and a little puttering, required for dealing w/ the table.
Then I did the quick workout. (It's not little. It's fast and compact.)
So I'm contemplating...
Some more context to my productivity today. Thursday, I had a pretty in-depth peer meeting with a DBT classmate dealing with ADHD very much on the same level as me. Clutter was at the top of our list. *Cleaning* isn't a real barrier itself. That part is easy. I'm very motivated (as is my peer) to clean surfaces and really get in there and deal with gunk. Honestly, any part of the house, even the bathroom. The TRUE barrier/difficulty/hurdle/uphill battle is the stuff- the things, objects that are all over the place, in the way of getting (more of) the cleaning done. I'd love to keep all of the floors clean. Not OCD level, I'm not that impressive. But each week, clean the whole floor of one room. (In addition to dishes, laundry, and whatnot) No problem. Same with tables. I'd keep the dining table so nice- without junk all over it to begin with. Anyhow, these hot spots (a term my peer used, which I like) are now on my hitlist, including the two or three piles piles of clean(!) laundry. (There is honestly a rotating (one!) pile of dirty laundry, too, but that's a longer term solution, requiring more steps. I gotta focus on the larger quantity of clean laundry that needs more and better places to go. OK, blah, blah, blah...

Sometimes decluttering or just freshening up a room in your home can feel very uplifting. Why not try it for yourself and see how you feel afterwards? #declittering #stressrelief #moodboost #tidyyourroom #positivity #feelgood #moraleboost #teenhelp #teenhelporg https://www.instagram.com/p/CT9KGYnsdE-/?utm_medium=tumblr

How I shop like a minimalist
Tumblr media
If I buy an item, I need to sell/donate an item of similar function
If I’ll only wear it once don’t buy it
Don’t do retail therapy (shop when sad)
Delete shopping apps from phone
Avoid looking at bloggers & influencers
Don’t buy something to fulfil an unrealistic fantasy outfit you’ve mentally created but would never really wear
Make sure the clothes are versatile enough to be worn with multiple things instead of just 1 outfit
Make a shopping list for any in-store shopping trip
Choose a colour palette wardrobe to stick to & don’t buy outside of the pallet (mine are pastels like baby pink, baby blue, lilac, & white)
Don’t make impulse purchases except if you’ve been thinking about it for months
Don’t shop many many months in advance for the following season or occasion; only buy things for the present situation & season
Don’t do huge shopping spree for very short term weather changes ( e.g don’t buy 5 sundresses to last 1 week of summer heat in the Uk where it’s cold 99% of the time

@thesurestthing is so pretty. (And yeah, I know the house is a wreck; I'm disabled, Zoey has adhd, and we have a six week old infant. Declittering would be nice, but it's not a priority.)

Exercise comes in many forms.......
Just a reminder! Today my exercise cane in the form of further declittering our basement. Lots of squatting, bending, lifting, climbing stairs and plenty of steps. There is still a ton of stuff to clean out but I made a good dent.
I’ve have decided that I need a healthy happy house to feel like a happy healthy person. I’ve dealt with my smelling sewer and sump hole, booked a furnace cleaning and I’m working on cleaning out all of the clutter. One of my biggest anxiety inducing thoughts is that I have an accident or pass away suddenly and someone else has to deal with all of the clutter we have acquired over 31yrs. It’s time to get that anxiety under control for good.
I am taking small steps toward making my life better in the areas that I can control so that the areas I have no control over don’t overwhelm me as much.

Seperti menghempaskan dandelion.

We’ve got cheery little match bottles thanks to the help of my friend @mikspress who was declittering her studio pre-baby. These are available in our shop and now for wholesale if you have your own shop. But the real question is what’s your color? 💟💖❤️💛💚💙💜🖤 https://ift.tt/2MrZTcP
