Okay so after double exposure came out I kept seeing people say that Dontnod should come back, Dontnod was the best, Dontnod can never do no wrong

I had to laugh

Cause I was there when LiS 2 came out and y’all-

The shit I’ve seen flung at them at the time over Chloe and max not being the main characters-

Also right now Dontnod are facing layoffs and lawsuits cause of said layoffs, they’re not doing that well financially due to their games failing to sell

People hype the hell out of Dontnod but don’t show up to buy their games

Nobody shows interest in their projects unless it’s something that remotely resembles the first lis game (lost records+tell me why) cause some people refuse to move on from 2015

I’m not the first person to say that Deck9 made some questionable narrative choices with LiS but if you’re gonna keep comparing them to Dontnod and continue to dickride the latter at least buy their games first 😭

me: i'm excited to learn more about deck9's new project and whatever kylie's recording for, but i hope it's not a rachel game. bts was the 'honeymoon phase' for her and chloe, meaning a sequel has little choice but to depict the deterioration of their relationship, rachel getting closer to frank and hell, maybe even jefferson. not to mention how extremely forgiving bts was in its depictions of vile, abusive men. seeing more of that, and as romantic interests no less, makes for an absolutely horrifying concept.

Mulambo fala sobre racismo, depressão e auto-cuidado em novo EP

Mulambo MC paulistano de 22 anos deu início aos trabalhos desse ano com o lançamento de seu segundo EP solo, o “Monocromo”. O projeto é composto por sete faixas assinadas pelo selo independente da zona sul de SP, Deck9 Records e aborda as influências do racismo na saúde mental de pessoas negras, que como a produção evidência não morrem apenas de tiros, mas também de depressão e outras doenças mentais.

Além do racismo estrutural, “Monocromo” destaca a importância do auto-cuidado como um ato de resistência e desmonta os estereótipos construídos acerca da figura do homem negro, que ainda é obrigado a ser um exemplo de força e a não demonstrar sentimentos. A capa e o audiovisual do EP são de Mulambo e JP.

“Eu já tinha vontade de trabalhar em um projeto com essa temática e isso se deve justamente ao fato de ter tido que lidar com a depressão ainda bem jovem. A ideia do EP é alertar as pessoas a respeito da sua saúde mental, deixar evidente todo o mal que a ausência deste auto-cuidado causa na sociedade em geral e em pontos dolorosamente específicos do povo preto. É basicamente um aviso de quem não quer que as pessoas passem pelo mesmo que eu passei.”
