There is so much that I am planning to do once my college starts but all of it is about grooming myself and getting myself into a better place mentally as well as physically. Not to forget I also want to do the best in my studies and that is a given despite all these different activities. Also, the fact that the better I perform in Mba the better chances do I have to a bright future. So obviously a lot to do and a lot to work hard upon. And I know I lose focus midway but having the right mindset is the right start and I hope this will help me float my boat just right!

Some of the main things that I plan to do:

STUDYING

Goes without saying I am going to a college for a better future and no better future without excellent grades.

SKINCARE REGIMEN

Skin without too much oiliness or breakouts and tan given that the atmosphere in my college will be a lot humid and warm. Chennai will be the perfect place for my skin to secrete as much oil to fry a freaking samosa in and get tanned so much that people start speaking to me in Malayalam or kannada. But truly no offense! True story: My first ever roommate in UG thought I was from south when she first met me because I ran around a lot that day and my tan literally made me as dark as some people are in the south. Not to forget the sun is bad for your skin. So pick up that damn sunscreen!! I plan on buying some The Ordinary (Deceim) and herbivore botanicals from cult beauty apart from dot and key, Estee Lauder, Olaplex, bare anatomy and Plum! I am definitely going gaga here.

BULLET JOURNALING

Bujo or bullet journaling is one of the best way to keep oneself accountable plus it comes with all the potential to unlesh your creative. So with all that I am planning to do( and obviously I am planning a lot) I think bullet journaling will help me stay focused in a fun way.  I have even got my hands on a dotted journal by matrikas. I also orderd a tombow brushpen for all the fun but it got cancelled due to rising covid 19 cases. So yeah!!

WORKOUT

Now I have been trying to lose weight in my head for the longest time and this year I am happy to say that I have thought out a little less and worked out a little more. I want to keep the momentum going and eventually lose all the stubborn fat so this is something absolutely non negotiable in my list of to-do things and hopefully I do it all wonderfully.

ROOM DECOR

Now I have never had a room for myself. Never!! Not in my UG not in my hostel, not even when I worked. Also I have never had a good well maintained home because my family's life is way too chaotic and spread around. So I have been planning to do some jazz fun stuff for my hostel room or corner(in case I need to  share spaces) some lights, planters, wall decor, storage, board stuff and the likes. 

TRAVELLING

I want to travel a lot. Like I have traveled with my parents around so many places in the country but I want to explore more on my own. I never travelled much in UG because asking dad for money was always a hassle and afterwards my job wasn't as well payingas I wanted it to be. I only travelled to Dalhousie during my UG. The only place I ever traveled in my UG and never did I travel when I was working.  So obviously my wanderlust bug is tripping a lot now that I earn some good amount and all for myself. (My accomodation and tuition is all paid for by loan and dad)

INDEPENDENCY

I think most people would relate when I say that once you start earning and become independent there's no going back. Because I have worked a full time job for more than 2 years it becomes all the more essential to me that I do not go back and depend on my parents. Also because I have a very independent personality and I seldom depend on others, I absolutely cannot bear anybody's nose in my business. As such it is imperative that I continue to support myself as I study. And my freelance business is going perfectly so I have no qualms or problems about it as well.

EARN FOR FUN

I have already described that I want to remain independent and I also do wanna travel a lot more. Because once I go back to a full time job after college, my wanderlust self has to compromise a lot. Let's be real no company can give you enough days off ever. So, if I gotta travel along with supporting myself, I also need to earn more than I need to sustain. Meaning I need to make another stash for my fun activities apart from my monthly expenses. Oh did I tell you about my planned skincare regimen which also costs a bomb! I will make a separate post about that once I get my hands on all those stuff.

So that's all in my planner list of to-dos and it definitely isn't easy but we will see how far can I go... after all everything requires hard work.

this is somehting ive had an issue with since 2015-2016. My skin started breaking out really badly and it went on for over a year. I tried over the counter products and prescription medication, but none of it worked. It wasn’t until august 2017 that I gave things another shot. Got a new prescription and it really helped but to this day I still have issue with my skin.

Nobody talks about how much of an impact that acne can have on your self esteem. It’s crazy. I didnt want to go out with friends as much, and resorted to makeup to feel good about my skin. It took awhile to feel good in my skin. It’s definitely still a work in progress but I talk it all in my new video on my youtube channel!

Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue celebrates it’s 25th annual issue with today’s Oscar nominated stars, and let me tell you, I’m loving the splash of color going on. According to “The Root,” the magazine took a break from their longtime partnership with photographer Annie Leibovitz, and decided to partner with Oscar-winning Mexican cinematographer Emmanuel “Chivo” Lubezki to capture this year’s group shot.  This is the first time Vanity Fair has featured a majority of people of color. This issue features actors, Chadwick Boseman, Timothee Chalamet, with Nicholas Hoult, Rami Malek, John David Washington, and Henry Golding. Actresses in this issue are, Saoirse Ronan, Yalitza Aparicio, Regina King, Elizabeth Debicki, and Tessa Thompson.

DECIEM Founder Passes Away At 40 Years Old

Brandon Truaxe, the founder of Canadian skincare company Deciem, has died at the age of 40, the firm announced in an Instagram post. According to the National Post report, “It is understood he fell from a condominium building near Toronto’s downtown.” According to “The Star” , “Upon founding Deciem, “The Abnormal Beauty Company,” in 2013, he simultaneously launched 10 sub-brands. Celine Dion Moved To Tears By Valentino Couture Fashion Show

The Valentino Spring 2019 haute couture fashion show was a breath of fresh air, to beautiful bright colors, ruffles, feathered lashes (tha’ts right, feathers lashes) and Naomi Campbell closing out the show, some would say it was moving.
