The Kings men, chapter four

Okay i'm literally shaking posting this, i've been working on it for days i lost all objectivity about it.

Someone requested this scene when I asked for recommendations on an older post, so this is tkm chapter four:

"Andrew sprawled on the couch in the lounge while Kevin went ahead to change out. Neil hesitated, changed his mind and started after Kevin, and changed his mind again. He stood behind the couch, folding his arms across the back of it, and peered down at Andrew. Andrew had one arm folded under his head and the other draped over his eyes to block the light. 'One of these days you might as well practice with us,' Neil said."

This scene is so long I had to cut some parts (including the incredible "You let us run ourselves into the ground and clean up behind us. You play the game like you play life. That's why you're so good at it.").

Not to mention Andrew's height fear, one of my all-time favorite aftg quotes ("When you said you were afraid of heights, you were joking, right?" "Andrew, you can't be. What were you doing on the roof?" "Feeling." -tkm ch.5).

My weight is 375 lbs, with a BMI of 52.5, placing me in the severely obese category. My belly feels so heavy that walking is a struggle. I experience shortness of breath even while sitting still and have difficulty getting out of bed. Just a month ago, I suffered a heart attack. I'm hooked on consuming fatty and sugary foods, but I'm beginning to question if continuing this habit is the right choice.

After Red Hood stopped killing and someone leaked footage hinting that he's the second Robin, he expected to fight for every morsel of territory, for everybody to desert him and the murder attempts to triple.

And, well. It's not like he doesn't find himself in a rigged warehouse on Monday, walking off that one explosion with singes on his back. It's not like on Wednesday, a bullet pierces through a hole in his armour and he's losing half his blood in an alley. And sure, someone takes advantage of him throwing his helmet away on Friday (he was out of grenades and needed a bigger bomb) to fear gass him, but it's fine, he can function normally under fear gass nowadays.

Except. Except nobody deserts him. By Monday, the attempts have completely stopped. He walks into a meeting with his men and sees his goons' hands won't stop shaking, and even his lieutenant won't look him in the eyes.

Jason is confused, and so are the other bats, but soon the rumours reach their ears: you can't go after the Red Hood, because no matter what you do, once you've targeted him it's over, like a dog with a bone, he'll get you eventually- no matter how you shoot or how many explosives you use. It doesn't matter that the Red Hood doesn't kill, because the Red Hood doesn't die.

It always startles her whenever she meets someone else at the small, quaint church Carlisle had chosen for her son's resting place. She sees people, of course, but her child's grave is apart from the others, tucked away in a quiet place beneath a tree that blooms with cherry blossoms in the spring.

She's not sure how long she's been standing here. Long since dead flowers are clasped against her chest, a new amalgamation of flowers freshly trimmed, placed and watered adorning the otherwise grey headstone.

The date will give it away— 1921. Has it really been that long?

And so, as she finally lifts her head to greet the face of the voice she heared, Esme lies. "Thank you, but he was my grandmother's son... I tend to his grave when I can, to keep both their memories alive." Her gaze can't help but journey back to the name, so recently refreshed to keep it from fading. Then, a grain of truth. "She never got over losing him."
