-angel definitely has one of those shirts that says ‘angel’ on it

-asher calls baabe sexy on a regular basis

-lasko has a super bad fear of horror films and games (will start crying)

-the pack played fnaf once and all you could hear was screaming from milo, tank, and asher and laughter from angel, sam and sweetheart (david and baabe literally almost fell asleep on each other) 

-lovely makes vincent tea and reads to him when he’s sad (*being pouty) 

-angel used to have an eating disorder (still reverts to old habits sometimes but is recovered) ((when they struggle with eating, david holds their hand and talks them through it))

-freelancer speaks french and makes fun of damien (in french) for being so poor at it all the time ((damien: "bro shut up?" freelancer: "do you know how to say that in french, huh?")) -(damien and freelancer are so siblings coded)

-darlin’ and sam slow dance around the house all the time (in the kitchen when sam’s cooking, in their bedroom right before they go to sleep, after they wake up, in the hallways etc.)

-freelancer is really good at acting like they’re sad when the boys tease them so they (huxley and dear) feel bad ((they just have to pout once and curl into themselves before huxley is hugging them and making the others apologize)) -(they're the youngest in the group so they get teased a lot) 

-sweetheart isn’t particularly known for taking care of themselves and whenever they complain about any health issue they’re having, david is quick to point that out (sweetheart: “my stomach hurts” david: “your stomach hurts because you don’t eat properly at the proper times or-“ sweetheart: “shut the actual fuck up david, I didn’t ask”)

-damien is such a shithead to everyone, even huxley and sometimes he forgets that huxley is shameless when talking back or “returning the energy” to people. damien will poke fun at him and act surprised when huxley starts attacking (tickling) him

-asher has a fear of needles but he got a tattoo in memory of gabe

-sam cried in darlin’s arms for hours after the inversion

-after the inversion, david flat out refused to let asher out of his sight until he was at home safe with his mate (drove him home when they couldn't pick him up, even when asher insisted he could drive himself home)

Poly D.A.M.N. Crew Headcanons (because I’m legally required to)

Once again, some of these could also apply outside the context of them being in a polycule and that works too lol

Freelancer will paint any of the others nails if they’ll let them (Hux and Gavin let them do it the most) 

Dear and Gavin made it a weekly thing to have lunch together on campus 

In the event that they were to all live together, Damien is usually the one in charge of  grocery shopping - mainly because of all of them, he’s the most particular about what brands they use for certain products/foods. Also you can’t tell me this man isn’t a master at budgeting/couponing. 

Damien and Huxley aren’t allowed to team up when they do chicken fights in the pool anymore - they’re both arguably some of the strongest of the group (they’re constantly working out after all) and after winning literally every time except against Gavin, the rest of them declared the rule that they have to team up with the others to make it fair. Hux just rolled with it but Damien still acts all cocky about it whenever it gets brought up. 

They try to do a movie night every two weeks and cycle through who gets to pick what they watch each time. Lasko made a chart to track it and everything. Lasko has also tried and succeeded only once in getting everyone to agree to a full on Lord of the Rings extended edition marathon despite trying again several times afterwards. Dear has been the only one to agree to do it again afterwards - not that the rest don’t like the movies, they just don’t think they’ll be willing to marathon them like that again. 

Gavin and Freelancer are the resident “distractors” and get kicked out of the kitchen fairly frequently because half the time they’re helping cook they end up “doing things” with the other person in there 👀

Huxley likes playing with the others hair if they’ve given the okay for it - he already knew how to braid and the like, but at some point he began learning how to do more complicated hairstyles and likes doing them for his partners 

Dear and Damien end up having to team up and ensure everyone else is wearing sunblock - Damien does not listen to Gavin when he says that as a demon he doesn’t need it, he has to put some on 

When struggling to find someone or something out in public, especially in large crowd, Huxley has gotten into the habit of just kind of grabbing one of his partners and putting them on his shoulder so they can get a higher vantage point 

Huxley came up with the idea that they should all show Gavin stuff they enjoyed from growing up, whether that be shows, movies, or going places typically meant for youths, because “just because you didn’t actually have a childhood doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get to experience one.” They took him to a bouncy castle park and got a good laugh at how uncharacteristically ungraceful he was. 

They all had to basically flee an ice skating rink when they all tried to go together. Gavin wouldn’t stop teasing/flustering Damien and he accidentally melted a portion of the rink. It was an unempowered run rink so the chance of them getting caught/blamed wasn’t too high but they all still ended up fleeing like their lives depended on it. 

They are all constantly stealing Huxley’s clothes to wear. It’d bother him if he didn’t think it was really hot to see them in it.

They've been trying to branch out in the types of games they play together and one genre they’ve been experimenting with is survival games. They’ve tried a few but the one they all seem to like the most is Raft and it gets chaotic. It’s not a strict rule or anything but they’ve also all sort of fell into their own unspoken roles for it: Huxley is always the go to for gathering supplies on islands, Damien’s typically either doing home defense or off trying to kill one of the hostile mobs (the poison-puffer always drives him crazy), Dear’s gathering the underwater supplies because obviously, Freelancer is in charge of gardening and cooking the food, Lasko’s on a hundred different websites and wikis making sure they don’t miss anything/actually know what they’re doing as well as navigation, and while Gavin spends most of his time pretty evenly helping everybody else out, he most often is gathering the supplies from the water, or, on occasion, fishing. (Sorry not sorry that this one only really makes sense to those who also play Raft/watch others play it lol)

The Holiday Season (fluff)🎄⭐️

- Angel always somehow covers David with tinsel, and has multiple photos from many christmases of him grumpily on the couch, in their kitchen, or on their bed, or honestly just wherever Angel caught him, covered head to toe in tinsel. With the same bow on his head every year.

- Asher and Babe do the twelve days of Christmas and give eachother variations of different silly objects vey day. Day one, coffee mugs with each others faces on it. Day two, shirts with the most random slogans ever. Day five, ornaments with 0.5 photos of eachother’s faces. Day ten, blankets of eachother’s faces covered in lipstick kisses. Day eleven, etc, etc.

- Milo and Sweetheart always go to Milo’s parents for Christmas dinner and Marie and Milo help teach Sweetheart how to cook their signature family recipes. Marie alway asks the very ‘motherly’ questions whenever she sees the two sharing affection:

*Sweetheart gives Milo a kiss on the cheek*

Marie: So, when am I getting grandkids?

Milo, shocked to his very core: Ma!

Marie: It’s just a question!

- Gavin always gets Damien a joke present and a genuinely heartwarming one straight afterwards. It’s padded cuffs followed by a months worth of Velveeta Mac and Cheese. Damien both hates it and loves it. Damien gets him books titled ‘Baking for idiots’ and things to that degree. Gavin doesn’t read them (mister never read a book in his life), but more puts them up as decorations.

- Dear and Huxley alway buy each other books. They have widely different tastes in genres and tropes but it’s always a sweet exchange based upon things they ask each others partners. Lasko always gives Huxley vague hints as not to pressure him into finding a really specific book and not being able to find it- but then Damien just says three titles for Dear and lets them pick one for Huxley so he can get him the other two.

- Freelancer always gets Lasko a weighted stuffed animal and Lasko has a collection of them. All of them are named and Lasko cherishes them dearly.

Polycule D.A.M.N Crew Headcanons

Was going through @polydamnory posts for the D.A.M.N polycule and it's inspired me to write down some of my own headcanons for these guys. Enjoy!

Dear and Damien are both the chefs of the polycule, Dear is probably the most trusted person to cook in Damiens kitchen unsupervised.

Huxely likes giving extra hugs to his partners whenever they're stressed out about something but it's really just an excuse to pick them up and drag them away from their laptop/whatever they're working on so they can get some proper rest. Has done this on both Damien and Freelancer when they both desperately needed a break from cram studying especially if the usual pleads to take a break don't intially work.

Dear has magic hands where whenever they run their fingers through their partners hair, they all melt at their touch. They turn to pudding as soon as those head rubs happen. They've actually helped a lot with migraines that Freelancer and Damien have.

Gavin, Freelancer and Dear have competitions sometimes to see who can fluster Lasko up more in one day. They all think he's adorable when he's choking on his words and trying to come up with a coherent sentence after mercilessly being teased. So far Gavin and Dear are neck in neck with these challenges.

Speaking of Gavin and Dear, Dear I feel like is someone who doesn't get flustered often which Gavin sees as a personal challenge to fluster them up whenever he gets the chance. Dear finds Gavin very cute whenever he tries to and flirts right back with that same energy.

This is more of a personal headcanon but from tallest to shortest it's Huxely, Dear, Gavin, Damien, Freelancer, and Lasko.

Lasko manages to get everyone into DnD and the polycule tries their best to schedule at least one session a month depending on their own schedules. Lasko usually DMs but Dear also DMs so Lasko can have a chance to play too. Gavin and Freelancer both shamelessly flirt with the DM no matter who it is and whenever it's Lasko it usually throws him off for a good minute or so.

Lasko gets cold very easily so he usually goes to Damien for cuddles when he's feeling extra frosty. Damien doesn't mind and likes having Lasko in his lap while he works if it keeps him warm.

Following up with that headcanon, Damien gets Lasko a shit ton of warm clothes, blankets and socks so he can wear em around the house around fall and winter because of how easily Lasko gets cold.

Freelancer smacks all their partners asses equally and with accurate precision.

Huxely I feel like would be a really good gardener for vegetables and fruits, Dear helps him with growing them. Every few months when certain fruits are in season, they bring em back to share with the polycule and make desserts outta them. Dear makes some killer peach cobbler, apple pies, strawberry pastries etc outta them and there's usually nothing left by the end of the week.

Gavin likes to playfully push Damiens buttons. Right when Damien looks like he's about to blow, Gavin kisses him and it gets to Damien every time lol. Gavin finds it highly amusing.

Freelancer likes giving gentle love bites to all their partners, it's not sexual all the time but whenever they're cuddling one of em or hugging them they have specific spots they like to go for.

For example, Freelancer likes giving love bites on Huxelys and Dears chests. For Damien it's his arms and chests if he's the bigger spoon while cuddling. For Gavin and Lasko it's their necks or arms, whichever is more accessible at the moment.

Dear most of the time is really good at hiding their emotions whenever they're stressed about something or just feeling sad in general but Huxely can pick up the signs pretty quickly. When it comes to his partners he's very observant and can tell when somethings off with any one of them and that includes Dear. Cuddling sometimes turns into a good cry sesh depending on how severe whatever is affecting Dear is.

Freelancer I headcanon as a little bit of a goofball and loves making their partners laugh, it's a wonderful feeling to see nearly all of the polycule wheezing and laughing at their stupid lil jokes and they take heavy pride in it.

Doesn't really get kissing, so will normally just nose boop Doc. Like a cat. Does this at random intervals.

Wanted to practice baking one time, so grabbed a cook book and decided to make everything in it. And I mean everything. Doc came home to an apartment with cake on every surface.

Cannot take movies seriously but really likes reading. Will sometimes read to Doc before they go to bed.

Does not sleep UNLESS he's in the sun. Then he'll just stretch out like a cat. He takes up the entirety of Doc's sofa.

Most of my ideas for him is just. He acts like one of my cats.

Really good at puzzles. And lego. Can do a thousand piece puzzle in about twenty minutes

Ive said that I think Huxley reads to Damien before bed, but have I said that Huxley reads alot of romance novels??? Well now I have.

Damien will copy some of the stuff that happens in the novels, if he thinks Huxley might like it. He doesn't really get it, but seeing Hux light up when he brings him flowers is worth it. Is trying to branch out on how he shows affection. Very different love languages, these two.

Just thinks "oh, this is what people do in relationships. Should I be doing that?" He's just me.

He and Dear have very different playstyles; he tries to optimise efficiency, Dear has the most cottage core farm known to man. So ever since he learnt that they play aswell, they habitually get into arguments over what the best way to play is

Asher and Darlin' have a shared notes app filled with things that (lovingly) piss people off

If Sunshine has any family members or friends that passed away and sunshine started missing them again, Elliott will make them in a dreamscape so Sunshine can talk to them again

Freelancer has drawings Caelum drew up on the fridge so Damien, Hux, and Lasko always assumed it was a younger sibling or family member

You never see Vincent and Lovely apart. Like ever. He's always either hugging them from behind, holding their waist or their hand, etc. You have to specify if you invite them to an event because if one of them is going, the other is following

Lovely sees William as a father/parental figure almost as much as Vincent does

Milo and Vincent have a shared Pinterest board (mostly consisting of clothing)

Gavin and Freelancer don't have seperate clothes anymore. They took each other's clothes so often because they have such similar style that they have a shared wardrobe now

Smartass is like a 5 star chef but they're too tired to cook half the time. Aaron tried it once on their off day and swore he saw heaven

Dear is the favorite professor purely because they're so flexible and they genuinely care so much about their students. They have a bin full of snacks and a drawer full of water for students, and even a pillow if they realize a student is working themselves to exhaustion

all of the damn crew is trans and in a poly relationship (even if not canon i've always seen them all together in someway whether it's romantic, sexual, or queerplatonic)! they all take t shots together and comfort each other through dysphoria

damien and hux are transmasc, lasko, dear, & fl are non-binary, and gavin is genderfluid or maybe genderqueer

(all characters are queer/bi/pan to some degree that's just canon logically since all audios are mfa)

guy is def transmasc and wears honey's hoodie because it secretly helps him with dysphoria (and also to be a menace because it's a win-win situation either way)

all the wolf boys are transmasc

i feel like vincent might be nonbinary or gender non-conforming regardless he just wears whatever he finds stylish

all other demons/daemons are agender

baby helps ollie with his t shots (ollie said his love language is physical touch so i think doing it together is def intimate and comforting for him)

in elliot's dreamscape, he helps sunshine with their insecurities but encourages them not to change their body because they look perfect in reality

Anyways! This is just a self indulgence thingy I made for my Dear, and isn't canon with the storyline! Just a headcanon! :D

Dear lore Dear lore D-

Okay okay so yeah I made that in one day because I was feeling silly after relistening to the inversion and wondered "Hey, what was Dear doing while this wack shit was happening?" And boom this happened!

To make a long yapping session short: Dear had a little brother that went to the Games to support a friend who was competing, Dear on the other hand had to stay home to finish up his students exams. Dear was the last person to know about the inversion, only finding out hours after the ward came down. He was called to verify the body of his little brother. His little brother stumbled across Kody after being injured by a Shade, he begged for help but was only yelled at and attacked by Kody. He crawled away from Kody, only to be finished off minutes later by Shades feasting on his life force.

Dear doesn't know Kody was the cause of his death, but he had a sinking feeling ever since that day. He wonders why he feels sick every time he walks past him.

(Tldr: I used Damien's angst as foreshadowing for an off screen death of the little brother of Dear, also we hate Kody here-)

It was designed to hide as much magma-based skin as possible, excluding her face, her bangs pushed back by the blue ribbon Alpha One had tied into her hair. Matching it was a white ribbon that went tight around her waist and tied into a bow in the back. “Why don’t you show your eyes more?” Alpha asked, hands tight on her shoulders.

Night- No Religion Here

“No, dear one.” Hades said, patting her head. “He has requested to stay with his siblings. He’ll take the night shift during school days and day shifts for the rest of the time.” Made sense. Hades was the only one in the household that actually liked night.

Sliding into a chair, Minerva made a calm request for some water and a bottle of Merlot. Smoothing down her dress, she managed to casually push the other chair out with one of her heels. The back was caught by a gloved hand.

Uncertain- Cooking for Jasper

Damien blinked, uncertain of how to react, both at Basil using dude and the kid. "Oh, uh... Sorry, kid." He couldn't help it, he just felt bad. He wasn't sure why, but the kid had an air like the entire world was pushing him to the edge.

Joke- Among the Stars

Not for the fact that he had a daughter, no. Her family's running joke was that they could only produce girls. He had fallen in love with the idea. Kate had been…his mother’s name, years before she birthed him, his father long out of the picture.

Blanket- Bride of Loki

Siv blinked dumbly at the white ceiling. What? What had happened? Where was she? Her throat was dry and achy, matching the ache deep in her chest. She raised a hand to her throat. Instead of a thick vine cutting off her air, there were what felt like bandages. They stretched all the way to her collarbone, taped tight over her scar. She pulled her hand away and moved down, feeling what felt like a thick blanket that had been draped under her.

Respect- Undead Flowers

“Doing the same. And fuck, did I respect Marigold.” The woman stopped walking, turning back to stare at the grave. Seemingly sensing her rising question, she explained.“I was an old friend of your mother’s.” Lily felt her eyes grow wide. “I haven’t gotten a chance, so…” She headed back to the grave and she found herself trailing behind. The woman knelt next to the grave, knocking a fist against the stone. “Solid,” she mumbled, seemingly to herself.

"Hang on," Kari said as she shrieked some more, pulling out his scanner. When he looked up, she was trying furiously to cover her chest again and pull herself down at the same time. It might’ve been because it was a mess, but it looked like her hair had poofed out, like what a cat did when it was agitated. "What's that on your chest?"

“Fair enough.” He set the torn branches next to the pack and then stood up straight. He regarded the girl, holding the lantern tight. “Come here.”

Masc/Male Reader

First Person POV

With heavy breath and an aching body I had finally reached civilization. While I had passed many places on the way this was the farthest I could go.

         "This will do." Mustering up my final ounces of energy I ran into an abandoned building nearby for shelter.

Admittedly this place seemed to have a lot of abandoned buildings and suspicious characters running about. What a strange place. Granted I've been secluded my entire life aside from the servants, my brother, and my mother, of course.

A glow from the corner of the building broke me out of my reminiscing. A phone. Naturally it was locked but what I needed most was the time displayed on the lock screen.

12:00 a.m.

It was midnight. Mother surely must have realized my disappearance by now. An appearance change would be critical to keeping away. After a short nap I'll search for hair dye and scissors. While there is nothing that can be done about my face, eye contacts are my best bet.

         "Only thirty minutes." A lie I told myself being unaware of the overexertion my body had undergone to get here.

1:24 p.m.

Awaken to loud shuffling, a muffled curse was heard as my eyes peeled open.

     "Shit—don't get up." The unfamiliar man hastily said to me. In all honesty I didn't know whether to be afraid that I woke up in a different place than I went to sleep in or the fact that he was standing there watching me awkwardly. Currently sitting up on a relatively soft couch we just stared at each other in complete silence.

     "So...what's your name, kid?” The stranger broke the silence. As long as I can remember I've always been a terrible liar. "[ ]."

      "No surname? Just [ ]?"

      "I do have one but I would rather not tell you simply because I don't know you."

A stifled laugh came from the man.

      "Yeah, guess you're right. I'm Jason. Nice to meet you." He reached a hand out. "Is this a sign of friendship?"

Another less concealed laugh came from 'Jason'.

      "Yeah. What are you, an alien or something? Never heard of a handshake?" He leaned on the couch.

      "Thank you for your hospitality, Jason." I firmly accepted the hand. "Your hand is rough. Do you take care of your hands often?"

      "Y'know you are a natural at starting conversations." He pulled his hand away as he walked towards the cooking area.

      "So you got any parents, kid?" He bluntly questioned simultaneously opening the refrigerator.

     "Whether or not you believe me, yes. I have one mother who tried to kill me for experimentation. I survived by luck."

He hummed bringing a canned drink to the countertop. "Huh." Is all he said as he pulled back the can to have a drink. "I believe you. Honestly speaking it would be harder to believe if you had a pair of loving parents and you just ran away." He said finishing the contents of the can.

        "You live around here?" He tossed the can.

         "No, quite far actually."

        "Alright then you can stay with me for a bit. Not the best but it's a place. As long as your mom doesn't come looking for you and trashing the place." Not that I would admit it at the time but right there and then a shimmer came to the sickeningly green dots I called eyes.

         "Thank you, Jason."

         "I’m in no position to be a Dad right now, but, I guess I’m your temporary dad for now."

          "Okay."
