I read ‘Fool!Asher’ and my brain strings back the memories of Echo’s version of Asher in that one audio and I-

To get through the angst I know is coming, I imagine the day when Cyril finds a box hidden in a draw somewhere in the house they share. And he just looks at it. Doesn’t open it. It could be earrings, could be something they bought for themselves, it could just be a stupid pretty box Dove decided to keep for god knows what reason.

But somehow, something inside of Cyril just knows.

And it just clicks inside of his head. Sure he’ll worry, he’ll overthink, he’s Cyril for god’s sake- but he immediately thinks to himself: “Yes.” “Yes, of course.” “In what world would I ever say no.”

And he’s in love. He sits down on their bed with that box in his hands. He is loved. He will be a fiancé. He will be a husband.

He’ll be Dove’s.

Do you think Avior lays awake at night while Starlight runs careful hands through his hair - with his chest aching and fingers restless against their sheets.

Something is wrong inside of him. Something that he can’t explain.

Starlight wipes delicate tears from his cheeks as they lean down to comfort him, only knowing how to do so much. They kiss his temple and whisper sweet words to him, hoping for a moment maybe they could bring him peace.

“What can I do to help?” They ask, with a kind purity Avior often thought he didn’t deserve.

He curls into them, his hands - once meant for healing - lay shivering against their skin when he reaches for them. They lay their arms around him, holding him close enough to feel the gentle thrum of his heartbeat. Soft as it may be these days. Distantly, they miss the way it used to feel - before something was ripped from his chest, leaving thin scars from his heart - before he was broken and mangled and manhandled into sharing life to another soul.

“I’m not sure sure there’s anything that can fix…this.” Avior whispers as he places their hand over his chest.

And when he sobs, it’s his heart that cries.

With that bonus headcanon, Doc had to have a daemon too! Said daemon being Avior is unlikely, but not impossible. Then, Avior got stripped away from them when he was in the Meridian, giving us the plagued academic a lot of us see Doc as - they relied on him a lot.

Doc doesn’t know Avior is Hush’s brother, possible recollection could be interesting.

Very interesting indeed.

HC that Freelancer!Sam had no idea how to get to DAMN.

HC that Freelancer!Sam ended up meeting a daemon who recognized his magical signature and gave him instructions on how to get to DAMN.

HC that the daemon gave him tips on magic, how to control his breathing, tips on better focus.

HC that Freelancer!Sam saw the daemon as a mentor.

HC that the daemon stuck around for the first year, but eventually disappeared afterwards, leaving Freelancer!Sam a little confused about what he did and kind of worried.

HC that Freelancer!Sam never really forgot about the Daemon that helped set him on the path that he’s on now.

HC that Freelancer!Sam decides that healing will be his path, reflecting on the warmth he received from the first empowered being he ran into.

HC that 22 years after that fateful meeting, Samuel Collins, healer of the Solaire Clan, catches a daemon lurking on his clan’s territory.

HC that when he sees their face, he stops, looking like the wind was knocked out of him.

HC that even though their form is changed from how he’d initially met them, his core couldn’t lie about the connection they once shared.

HC that their face is stricken with pain. They don’t seem to be able to form words until two sentences finally fall from their lips.

“Your eyes should be brown.”

BONUS:

HC that somehow, still in every universe, a Freelancer finds a d(a)emon that helps them find DAMN and cares for them.

Marcus perchance?

Surprisingly Marcus got fluff - which is marginally harder than angst but I’ll give it a shot

- Marcus is really good at drawing anatomy, which helps him create models for asset and sketch improvements, etc. But! In his spare time he drew Asset and him in the outside world (outside of the lab), and drew them at cafe’s togther, going out on a picnic together, wearing matching clothes and all that. He did that mostly during the beginning stages of their ‘relationship’ but got too busy as asset got more intense.

Thinking about foolsverse daemons, it would be interesting if their colour schemes inverted for foolsverse - Gavin from pink/purple to orange/yellow, Caelum from pink to cyan, Vega from red to green, etc, etc

I guess it really depends on what colours you associate with them, but Vega going from a red sadism daemon to a green masochism daemon is a beautiful picture in my books

Wouldn’t it be funny if Alexis had beef with Darlin’s parents when they were younger, and now when she looks at Darlin she can always pin point the features that match their parents.

When she originally met Darlin’ she had to do a double-take because no way did Sam get with the kid of her arch nemesis, no fucking way.

She probably has one of those dart boards with a person’s face on it, and had to rip off the completely destroyed picture of Darlin’s mother and replace it with a picture of Darlin’.

Under her breath she says “you look exactly like your mother” and she doesn’t expect such a violent reaction from them - because they too don’t like their parents.

Them bonding over talking shit about Darlin’s mother. Sam walks in on it and asks what the fuck they’re doing, and Alexis lazily responds “talking about their mommy issues” and explains nothing else. Darlin punches her in the shoulder for that explanation and Alexis contemplated pushing them off the balcony their on - but settles for stepping on their foot with her heel.

My Fools!Honey and Neutered!Guy

- For a lot of my listener designs for Foolsverse, I just gender swapped them for fun variety, so my Honey who’s usually Daniel/Danny (he/him), is now Daniela/Danny (She/Her).

- Honey is a goth and looks like the black cat to Guy’s golden retriever, but it’s more like a black cat with an orange cat’s soul and a low energy golden retriever.

-> Speaking of which, I think Fools!Guy has insomnia. Possibly writes poems to try and pass the time.

- Guy steals Honey’s hoodies from the washing machine and wears them very obviously literally everywhere. The hoodies in question match Honey’s goth attire.

- Guy puts on Honey’s black lipstick and kisses their face - leaving black lipstick marks all over their white makeup.

- Honey runs up to Guy and wraps their hands around him whenever they can. Also, they love to mess around with his hair (they’re kind of obsessed with his hair).

-> Sometimes Guy will give Honey piggyback rides around their apartment after they jumped on him.

- When they get a place together, they have plans to adopt a cat together. I feel like they would either name it something pizza themed like pepperoni, or call just call it cat (or dog).
