I saw your DD graph asking for other ideas, so... if you still have any desire to do further Dracula graphs I'd be curious to see how the word count per character breaks down (not how much they speak but how much they write. Adding all their diary entries together, etc.). Obviously Mina wins by default from having typed up the whole novel but outside of that detail, how much did each person author?

So first off, if you just want to visualize the author breakdown, ta-dahhhh!

Seward was staunchly in the lead, talking his head off and burning through those wax recording drums like no ones business. Poor Mina for having to transcribe it all. In total his words made up 39.3% of Dracula. Nearly 40%!

Seward unsurprisingly had the most individual entries overall at 47, and had the longest streak for being the narrator in an entry at 10 days (09/02 - 09/11) with Mina following right behind at 9 days (08/10 - 08/19)

Mina surprisingly was 3rd overall both in word count and number of entries. She wasn't even in the top 3 for most words in a day which is as follows.

1 - Seward October 3rd - 9942 words

2 - Seward September 29th - 7206 words

3 - Jonathan October 3rd - 5944 words

Van Helsing only had 9 entries total but still came in number 4 for word count, in front of Lucy. It's interesting to note that the amount a person writes doesn't correlate to the amount of time they are being written about/appear. Which is why Arthur and Quincey don't even beat out the newspaper clippings for words, lol.

There are lots of authors we only hear from a single time, like Sister Agatha. So I've decided to make a small fry pie as well. (Authors under ~500 words)

The captain of the Demeter and Van Helsing both had more days written than Lucy! Though I didn't break up number of entries, like when the log of the Demeter had 3 or 4 on one day or Lucy wrote a letter and in her diary.

Reading BlueCatWriter's Dracula along with Dracula Daily

Ok so I've been meaning to read all of @bluecatwriter 's wonderful Dracula hc fics in order for a long time but I never have time to get with it so I decided to read it along with Dracula Daily this year.

⊹ I'm done with my last internship!! which means im no longer a student, but now unemployed :DD

⊹ I went to a wedding for the first time in about 7 or 8 years, i think. it was lively! (I took the middle-left picture there.)

⊹ I (unintentionally) lost weight. Around 7-8 kilos since may. i mean, i needed to lose weight and I still do, but the fact that it happened without dieting makes me happy :)

⊹ I’m visiting Germany in September!! I’m sooo excited because the only time i’ve been abroad was for just 4 days, but this time i’ll be there for almost a month!! i’m trying to stay calm, but i’m seriously so excited!!!

⊹ I need a series to binge!! i officially don’t have school starting tomorrow!! it’s impossible to believe lol. i need some dramas to watch… please suggest some ;)) (i also love true crime docuseries!)

⊹ i still have some things to do, though—like graduation and internship paperwork. It’s just paperwork, but the deadlines are important, and there’s a lot of it. So, I still need to focus and get things done. (boo hoo)

⊹ College is over, but I still need to study for language proficiency and master's exams in November. I'll be updating this blog more frequently from now on!!

⊹ I'm starting therapy this month, and this time I'm determined to go through with it. i know it's a bit ironic, being a psychology grad and being scared of therapy :) But i never knew where to start or how to openly face the challenges. Sharing everything with a stranger also feels uneasy :) I still don't feel fully ready for it, but I've decided to cross that bridge when I come to it. I just need to take that first step,,

TL;DR

I’ve closed a chapter in my life now, and I’m already excited for the next phase—my master’s journey. For this summer, I had so many plans, but I couldn’t find the time for most of them :( Now, I’ll focus on relaxing while also staying productive over the next two months. I don’t want to push myself too hard, though, because I haven’t had a vacation longer than one month since 2020!

I wish I were a bit more timely, but I've had so much going on IRL, I haven't been able to focus on my blog as much.

I've heard some new turtles questioning these things from a CPN perspective, and some have even read it as a negative, 'break-up' message, which is frustrating. Just a reminder, most things GG and DD post have absolutely nothing to do with their relationship, or with each other. (Not saying that's where you were coming from, Dottie, but I've seen this a fair bit so I figured I'd address that angle).

The domino sequence is actually "140915240915" which is the date range spanning DD's decade in the industry. He debuted on 15 September 2014, and 15 September 2024 is his 10 year anniversary.

As for the message, just a reminder that this is a (shoddy) machine translation, so it's difficult to get a real sense of what he's saying. However, my take on it is that he's essentially saying,

"As time goes by I adapt and grow, and find that I am able to be fully myself."

Yibo is a very independent person who - from my perspective - has been focusing a lot on self-actualization and shaping his life and career to fit his needs instead of the other way around (as was the case with his earlier years). I talked about it a fair bit in this post, and also in my anniversary post (which I'm still working on but will publish soon here it is). Basically, he doesn't want to take any more shit from people. He wants to do what's best for his well-being and happiness, and to focus on the aspects of his career and interests that gives his life joy, purpose and meaning.

4 September.—Zoöphagous patient still keeps up our interest in him. He had only one outburst and that was yesterday at an unusual time.

Interesting that Jack doesn't call Renfield by his name in this entry. I wrote about this pre-DD, but I can't help but feel there is a marked change in how Jack acts after seeing Lucy and being visit by Van Helsing. If Jack does not want to take chlorall to sully Lucy's memory, perhaps he is trying to sound more neutral and detached this entry after being entrusted to take care of her. Also, he did try to puff himself up to Arthur as well as Van Helsing.

It seems like he wants to distance himself from the intensity that he wanted to investigate Renfield with. There isn't anything wrong to refer to a patient by their name, if anything its dehumanizing to refer to them by a nickname only you know. Either way, it would be interesting to note if he doesn't refer to him by name in future entries either.

1. On July 31, GG published 18 photos (21 GG's images), exactly one month before the premiere of the documentary (31 Aug), the central image is the drawing of a mountain. Exactly 38 days from, on September 7, the first episode about climbing a snowy mountain was released.

After that, the whole of August GG only has current publications and advertising.

2. On August 5th DD posted the photo from the desert, the series about the desert will start on October 5th.

3. On August 14, DD flew to Shenzhen for the one-day promotional meeting, and on August 17, GG flew from Yichang to Beijing. Their clothes on these flights are white T-shirts, dark pants and panama. These are two different people:

next was reffy!!! reffy was split on november 27th 2019!!! this is the day we joined a danganronpa rp WRHKSDFGH discord server n met our bfff <33 we didnt rly have friends at the time and were generally struggling with social things,, so jax kinda put all of his traits he deemed most "likeable" in2 reffy and created him to be the ideal version of himself that ppl would like and went dormant for a whileee ,,, it took reffy a while 2 properly develop as a person but he is vry important to our system cuz of what he represents!!! we celebrate his birthday every year too :33

Cheat Codes

Name a guest Adam Levesque and unlock all Animal Care research programs (Adam Levesque is the CEO of Blue Fang and Creative Director for Zoo Tycoon.)

Name a guest Lou Catanzaro and unlock all Animal Enrichment research programs.

Name a guest Charlie Peterson and unlock all exhibit foliage.(Charlie Peterson is one of the Program Managers on Zoo Tycoon.)

Easter Eggs

On September 15 on the in-game calendar (the date of the signing of the contract between Microsoft and Blue Fang for Zoo Tycoon), a biplane with the Microsoft logo flies across the map pulling a banner with the Blue Fang Logo.

On their own turf, penguins are capable of killing pretty much any animal in the game

Guests entering the zoo on January 1 (New Year's Day) on the in-game calendar will be sick.

October is Dinosaur Month! Purchase all dinosaurs at half price during the in-game month of October.

On October 31 on the real world calendar, all guests and buildings wear orange and black in honor of Halloween, a jack-o-lantern is available from the buildings and items menu, and a wicked witch flies over the zoo on a broomstick.

On October 31 (Halloween) on the in-game calendar a witch flies over the zoo on a broomstick and a jack-o-lantern is available from the buildings and items panel.

On Christmas (December 25) on the in-game calendar, Santa Clause flies over the zoo on his sleigh.

Secrets

Name a male maintenance worker George W and all the foliage in your zoo will vanish, but you'll receive $300 tax rebate.

Name a guest Mr.Brown, Mr.Pink, Mr.White, Mr.Blond, or Mr.Orange and all guests and buildings currently in the zoo change to the associated color.

Name a male maintenance worker The Rock, all buildings are turned to rubble.

Name a bear Deer and the bear will immediately break out of its exhibit unless the fence is electrified)

Place a Mermaid Statue in an exhibit or show tank and it changes into a real mermaid. The Mermaid will not appear in the adopt an animal menu; however,you can continue dropping Mermaid Statues into water tanks to "adopt" more.

I would recommend watching Under The Skin, the extended music video actually connects &Team's lore to Enhypens lore, since they are like brother groups, Under The Skin is connected to Drunk-Dazed, since Euijoo and K are the wolves in Drunk-Dazed. And I recommend watching Scent of You just because that's my favorite song of theirs.

Explanation on the progress of Mr. Wang Yibo’s reputational rights protection case

Recently, our company has found that there are still a large number of Internet subjects who continue to publish suspected insulting and defamatory remarks against our artist Mr. Wang Yibo on various platforms, which has attracted the attention, reprinting and comments of many Internet users. The release and dissemination of relevant content has caused Mr. Wang Yibo to his reputation and social image have been seriously affected, and he is suspected of seriously infringing on Mr. Wang Yibo’s right to reputation. In this regard, our company resolutely safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of Mr. Wang Yibo and protects his rights through legal channels. Our company now makes the following explanation on the progress of some of Mr. Wang Yibo’s reputational rights protection cases that have been initiated:

1. The case between Mr. Wang Yibo and Yu ** [Weibo user "Half hawthorn yys!", UID: 7583092450] Internet infringement liability dispute (right of reputation):

Between July 2021 and September 2022, Weibo user "Half Hawthorn yys!" continued to publish multiple insulting and defamatory blog posts against Mr. Wang Yibo through the Weibo platform, seriously damaging Mr. Wang Yibo's personal reputation. After our company and Mr. Wang Yibo entrusted lawyers to initiate litigation and accountability proceedings against the Weibo user’s real-name subject Yu **, the court made a first-instance judgment on November 15, 2023, and ordered that Yu ** be on the Weibo involved in the case (UID: 7583092450 ) publicly apologized to the plaintiff Wang Yibo for 15 consecutive days and paid a total of 28,000 yuan in moral comfort and legal fees to the plaintiff Wang Yibo. [Case No.: (2023) Beijing 0491 Minchu No. 14528]

At present, the defendant has fulfilled its apology and compensation obligations in accordance with the judgment. At the beginning of the rights protection in this case, Mr. Wang Yibo stated that he would donate the full amount of the compensation in the case to public welfare. Our company will donate the full amount of the compensation in accordance with Mr. Wang Yibo’s wishes.

2. The case of Mr. Wang Yibo and Weibo user "Heartbroken but Fascinating" [UID: 5850457719] Internet infringement liability dispute (right of reputation):

Weibo user "Heartbroken but Fascinated" has been posting suspected insulting and defamatory remarks about Mr. Wang Yibo on the online platform for a long time. Our company and Mr. Wang Yibo have entrusted lawyers to file a lawsuit in court in accordance with the law, requiring the relevant online platforms to disclose the real-name identities of the Internet subjects involved. After the information is disclosed by the platform, it will file a lawsuit against the real-name authentication subject as soon as possible, requiring the relevant subject to publicly apologize to Mr. Wang Yibo in accordance with the law, and compensate for the corresponding mental damage solatium and reasonable rights protection costs.

3. The case of Mr. Wang Yibo and Chang ** [Weibo user "Hanhanqvq", UID: 7799836585] Internet tort liability dispute (right of reputation):

In March 2023, the Weibo user "Hanhanqvq" published a related article against Mr. Wang Yibo through the Weibo platform.

The defamatory remarks are suspected of seriously damaging Mr. Wang Yibo’s personal reputation. Our company and Mr. Wang Yibo have appointed Lawyer Tuo initiated litigation and accountability proceedings against Chang**, the real-name subject of the Weibo user, and the case has now been heard in court.

After the processing is completed, the court will make a judgment in accordance with the law.

4. The reputation dispute between Mr. Wang Yibo and WeChat user "Zhu Rui Gabriel Jiumenwu Pictures":

In September 2022, a screenshot of WeChat Moments was circulated on the Internet platform. The content was allegedly infringing content publicly released by WeChat user "Zhu Rui Gabriel" against Mr. Wang Yibo. The screenshot was widely disseminated. Our company and Mr. Wang Yibo have entrusted lawyers to file a lawsuit, and the case is currently under trial.

5. The case of reputational rights dispute between Mr. Wang Yibo and Wu ** [WeChat user “Xinxin”, WeChat ID: W1526896***]:

n July 2023, WeChat user "Xinxin" publicly made allegedly defamatory remarks against Mr. Wang Yibo in the WeChat group. After the platform disclosed the user's identity information, our company and Mr. Wang Yibo have entrusted a lawyer to real-name the account involved in the case on November 27, 2023. The subject Wu ** filed a lawsuit with the court in accordance with the law, requiring Wu ** to make a public apology to Mr. Wang Yibo in accordance with the law, and compensate for the corresponding mental damage solatium and reasonable rights protection costs. This case is currently awaiting court arrangements.

6. The reputation dispute case between Mr. Wang Yibo and Wang ** [Weibo user "user 2233567890", UID: 5777773235]:

Wang ** continues to publish a large number of blog posts that are suspected of insulting and slandering Mr. Wang Yibo through the Weibo account "user 2233567890". The lawsuit between Mr. Wang Yibo and the real-name subject of the Weibo account Wang ** is currently under trial. 10078410

In addition to the above-mentioned cases, there are still other cases in progress regarding Mr. Wang Yibo’s reputation and portrait rights protection. Our company once again sternly warns all network entities to immediately stop publishing and disseminating remarks that are suspected of infringing on Mr. Wang Yibo's reputation, so as to avoid further expansion of the damage and incurring their own legal liability. Our company will also pay close attention to network dynamics, continue to entrust law firms to collect evidence and file lawsuits on suspected infringing content, and resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Mr. Wang Yibo.
