Hi friend!! I’ve missed you.

Okay so. I am holding onto hope that:

1- The first half of the season (if that rumor of the first part being episode 1-9 are true) will be when the blip happened and during the blip, which would give the excuse and reason for Foggy and Karen NOT being there. It’s now seeming like Matt never got snapped away- which I would LOVE to see how they do that with his senses cuz that shit would be so so tragic in Matt’s pov having no idea what’s happening and nothing he can do to do stop it- so Matt doesn’t get snapped, but Karen and Foggy do- so their firm….is also gone. It would be too painful for Matt to continue that business without them.

Due to these reasons and pain and guilt and PAIN and Matt, because he’s Matt, will somehow blame himself for not helping in a battle he had no idea was happening and stopping it. He may go into a depression again, maybe this is where and when he meets Kirsten or something. But during the 5 years of the blip, he decides to work for/with another firm, or start a new one again.

2- Again if the rumor is true and the second part of the season is episodes 10-18, maybe that’s when End Game happens and everyone comes back. (I don’t think Born Again was even close to finising that first half of filming before the WGA Strike so reaaalllyyy, maybe there’s wiggle room here once selfish studios pay writers and actors what they deserve and more and filing starts again whenever that will be)

But my theory and some other fans theories, that the second part will be AFTER the Blip, and they can do a little time jump if they want or flashbacks or something idk. Let’s not forget in She-Hulk Matt actually looked and seemed happy, in a good place, at times lighthearted and having fun and THE SAME WITTY CHARMING ASS (i say fondly) HE IS (that didn’t change) with Jen and he even says “we” talking about his firm and Matt has always kinda been against bigger/giant law firms because most of the lawyers that work at those places tend to be more corrupt and not have the clients best interests at heart. Maybe if he joined a bigger firm during the blip there would be some conflict there.

And after, this would be A great reason and opportunity to bring back Foggy and Karen and could potentially start up their business again, or at least get Foggy to join the firm, OR they have a little branch under the bigger firm. The point is, they could use the second part of the season to bring back Nelson and Page.

And Matt’s words to Jen sounds more like he has Foggy back in his life and he’s still in a pretty good place. You don’t think Foggy would get an absolute kick out of Matt having a one night stand with She-Hulk!? He’s be so proud and cracking joke’s because “she literally spanked your ass twice” 😂 (Kevin if you’re reading this…)

3- After seeing Charlie Cox at two cons and meeting him twice, I firmly and 100% believe he has somewhat of a voice in some decisions for Born Again. The studio KNOWS this show or “reboot” or continuation wouldn’t be possible or the same without Charlie. Kevin knew that. And the reaction Charlie/Matt got in NHW PROVED how much the entire fandom loves him as Daredevil. So, I feel like his input and opinions are valued. Which makes me hopefully guess/theorize that Charlie has at least spoken to someone about bringing back Elden and Deborah. And I know Vincent really loved Deborah as Karen too, and I feel like he would also have a say because you just can’t change him as Fisk either. Same with Jon as the Punisher.

So again, I am holding out for being hopeful and not truly believing anything until it’s in the actual episodes I watch. It’s marvel, we have to remember that, they lie and gaslight fans all the time and try to convince the fans what’s not true and what is. So a twitter account from “sources” is a little harder to believe.

I have nothing against Deborah Ann-Woll or her as Karen because I actually loved Karen. But 99% of the heart in Daredevil was Foggy and his relationship with Matt. To not have AT LEAST Foggy be in the show at some point is utterly ridiculous. Matt’s not suddenly going to have a new best friend who truly gets and understands every single side of him and knows his past and martyr tendencies like Foggy. Matt isn’t just gonna straight up trust others and tell them he’s also Daredevil (Jen literally just ripped his mask off but he had no intention of telling her know)

And honestly, just as no one else but Charlie Cox could play and be Matt/Daredevil, no one else but Elden Henson can be and play Foggy. I just don’t think that amazing heart of Foggy’s can be the same without Elden.

Ok but cursed idea me and my buddies thought about years ago - Food fantasy character cum tasting of or straight up being the item they’re meant to be. Hi, Deceitful! I think I remember seeing something like this on @yanderemommabean's blog years ago! Coffee having bitter cum, and so on. I think this is just the logical extreme of that. You'd have all the dessert food souls being mean to our poor boy Century Egg--which, don't get me wrong, I love a good century egg in my congee, but if I'm blowing a guy and it tastes like century egg I'm going to assume he's having kidney failure. Ive got through most of the game and boy i have some THOUGHTS... spoilers under the cut!!

I didn't expect to like the game so much cause im not actually that much of a horror fan (<- squeamish) , and like i said in the last post I wasn't sure how fun a game all about decrypting the dialogue will be (<- dumbass). But in the end I think the game mechanics is exactly the source of all the charm!! And come to think of it, it's a very unique mechanic too. The word-guessing makes the game exciting and scary (and sometimes is the key to avoiding certain death), but there's also just something about overcoming "broken" language to express your thoughts that is inherently really sweet to me. Maybe this is a wild comparison but its like that greentext thats like "bad times friend ahead...i go away but we are two of soul, i will return".

The game is also just pretty player-friendly, and the characters are all (well, mostly) really chill, so it wasnt very hard to guess most of the words too. But i will say that sometimes, you can kind of tell the nuance of the language-translation makes more sense as Japanese, so maybe that gave me a slight edge.

After playing the demo I thought this would be a really short game (like around 2-3 hrs), but I clocked in a solid 6 hours today LOL...and im still missing a few endings. Big spoiler but when MC "kills" Mr. crawling it genuinely upset me like GIRL WHAT IN THE FRESH HELL..........😭😭😭 but thank god he was fine :DD the scene where he shut himself in a closet crying because he thought the MC abandoned him 😭😭😭😭 IM SORRYYY but also like omg...😭😭😭😭 he ouppy............😭😭😭😭

This is going to be a tad long, sorry:

But like I said it's not that I want Karen to just mindlessly support Matt. My point was that she went out of her way to dive deep into Frank's story and motivations even when Frank was being elusive but she couldn't lend the same grace to Matt after the anger from the lies die down? Foggy was angry too, in Nelson V Murdock he just absolutely go bonkers on Matt in anger. But after that he sits down, albeit still furious, then proceeds to ask Matt about his motivations, about why he's doing what he's doing in an attempt to understand. And you can't deny the betrayal to a decade-old friend is more hurt than Karen who has only known Matt for a year at that point. So why couldn't Karen ask Matt about his motivations and reasoning for doing so? She can still be angry while at the same time try to understand an actual friend with the same effort she does with a man she just met. And it's literally not about Matt being addicted to violence which is a massive misunderstanding of him.

And she is pretty quick to forgive Frank who also tells lies, no? I don't understand how Frank and him telling lies and his vigilantism are more palatable to Karen than Matt's just because she may align with Frank's morals more. I don't treat my friends in a diminished way or with favoritism towards another one just because they may or may not align with my morals or stance on killing cause that's a pretty questionable mindset.

You say she supported Frank after she dug up more info on him. So why can't she dig up info on Matt? Jessica Jones did it in Defenders, which is why she was able to symphatize with Matt's vigilantism even when her morals as a reluctant hero doesn't align with Matt's martyr complex. She dug up info on Matt's father from which she based her understanding of his motivations for his vigilantism. That was Jessica who had only known Matt for a few days. Yet Karen never does any attempt on that. Foggy questioned Matt's blindness too, but beyond that he also sat down and listened to Matt telling him about overhearing a child getting sexually assaulted by her father and how he couldn't sit idle not doing anything to help that child. Karen questioned Matt's blindness but beyond that, no attempt to listen or to understand. Just straight to chastisement.

This is gonna sound so lame to everything you just said, and maybe this is one some of the writers for her character, but there’s one thing missing here and that’s the romance and feelings had had towards Matt. I don’t want to play the “scorned women” shit but that’s horrible. And I’m not 100% agreeing with everything Karen did and her double standards, but there was the added level of having feelings towards Matt. And I’m all of those moments, she never had time to really process anything she was hearing or seeing (like people say Matt cheated on her….I don’t agree with that at all because they were barely in a relationship and finding an OBVIOUSLY HURT WOMAN in his bed doesn’t count.) but she had feelings for Matt for a good year.

I’m not saying they excuses her for anything, but it adds a little more to maybe why she focused on Frank more, because at the time he was also focused on her- and was she still against him killing people too.

I know a lot of people in the fandom hate Karen and I think that’s very unfair but I can see certain points to both sides. I’m someone who never hated Karen or found her annoying, just again flawed in certain areas. Foggy and her differ to how they handle and view Matt and Daredevil. Maybe Karen didn’t want to dig up more information based off of whatever she was feeling at the time be it anger or hurt. Maybe she felt it was just too personal and wanted him to tell her himself. Maybe Matt would feel betrayed or hurt she she did dig it all up. Jess did it because 1- she is a PI (and I know Karen dug a lot but not with her friends be sometimes that can be a violation) and Jess wasn’t friends with Matt at the time that she did.

There’s a fine line of an emotional connection there of Jess digging up info on Matt and Karen doing the same for Frank because something didn’t sit right with her in Franks case which is why she started digging.

And yesssss I know these are fictional characters, but I am also someone that if a friend hurts me or I feel betrayed, I want nothing to do with them in those moments after and it takes time for my own anger or feelings to calm down. Maybe that’s how they tried depicting Karen; the time between her anger at Matt for dropping the ball with Foggy and the Castle case, to feeling like she got this amazing romance and guy she’s had a crush on for a long time, to finding another woman in his bed, to being shot at again and again and again. Just left her to zero time to process anything or at least forgive Matt right away.

(Let’s not forget what she tells Frank about if he before he kills his former ummmm military leader- I forget his name)

That’s how I saw/took it, but again, I know my own opinion and thoughts towards Karen’s character differs from most of the fandom which I didn’t even realize until this year lol.

Super agree with Foggy...look at Defenders where he sets aside his feelings towards Matt being Daredevil and shows him support by handing him his suit personally. And in S3 when he was adamant to Karen that he was willing to forgive Matt and didn't want to abandon him

But is Karen really at the same level of importance? One of the things that tick me is that I feel like I've seen Karen support Frank more than she ever did Matt. This is why I kinda fail to see the "she's so vital to Matt"...she didn't really show that. Not saying I wanted her to just show mindless unconditional support but it was weird how much more grace she showed to Frank than Matt in attempting to understand his motivations. She just straights up liken him to an addict which is problematic to me. Matt was the one man to ever help her first in her problem yet she couldn't lend him as much grace as she did Frank. Doesn't sit well with me at all

Agai this really is a matter of fan’s opinion because I’ve seen so much Karen hate sadly, but for me, yes. I think she is. I say Foggy was the heart of the show, but not only to Matt, he was to Karen too. (She does say at one point that it was Matt AND Foggy that convinced her Matt was some kind of addict)

Matt has become one of my favorite characters ever, but I didn’t ignore some flaws he had or slightly had, and Karen was also a flawed character in certain ways. But she didn’t just straight up support Frank until after she dug deeper and found out what really happened why he was doing what he he did. And unfortunately that came at a time in S2 where there was too much shit on Matt’s plate and some things fell through the cracks. But Karen’s past makes sense of why she aligned with Frank and/or wanted to help him.

Because she also has a good heart under that penchant for pulling a trigger sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ she’s just a little more okay doing it if she absolutely has to. But she’s always been determined and sharp minded and wants to help just as much as Matt does so when she was finally told, and it all made sense, by that point she was already hurt and disappointed 🤷🏻‍♀️ but she also comes around by the Defenders and S3- especially holding that hope and having a feeling that Matt wasn’t truly gone.

In S3 when Matt shows up at her place again Karen is back in a life threatening situation and her reactions to him again make sense for that moment and honestly very realistic.

If she was told sooner about Matt’s secret, if Matt revealed himself to be alive sooner in S3, she would have a different reaction. But this also goes back to my point about Foggy being the one who knows every side and shape and cut and damage piece of Matt. When he says to Karen that all of Matt’s life he’s been abandoned and he wasn’t going to do the same even after everything, and that everything was very much rooted in Matt’s own self hate and worth and his trauma. And I think once Karen was reminded of that she too wasn’t going to abandon Matt.

To me she never really did, stepping away to take time for herself is different than full on never speaking to him again or leaving, es if she felt hurt from the events in S2 but in The Defenders we see that she does still care for Matt.

The whole “vital” part to Matt thing I think is due to, again, her own heart and deep care she has for Foggy and Matt because she too lost her entire family (but it her fault or an accident) but because of some of the violence in her own life, and siding with Frank, she has more of an understanding with Matt’s violent Devil side and the injustice that’s the cause of that.

She’s just not the typical female character that sits by a man and lets them get away with hurting her or is super quick to forgive and forget, because if you hurt her you better not do it again. And maybe that’s something I resonated with in a way, but to me yeah, I think she’s just as important to Matt’s life. BUT that doesn’t have to be a continued romance (as they showed in Defenders and S3) and now that she knows everything and understands it more would make her someone else in his corner supporting him.

(Let’s not forget that Foggy still doesn’t outright support Daredevil’s tactics mainly because he’s terrified of Matt dying or getting caught)

Ah, welcome to the DoL hellhole, you won’t escape! I’ve been playing the game for like a whole year now. I am concerned how much I love it.

To answer some of the questions:

Having the beastiality tag turns the animals into animal people instead- wolf boys and girls, pig boys and girls etc., doesn’t completely remove them and they will still be a threat in the forest and on the farm. It’s just that the threat level is much lower at the beginning of the game and you’re less likely to meet them- be careful as you go through the game, you’re pretty much guaranteed to meet them at some point.

You can in fact buy Robin her game console back. It’s a couple of hundred I think, but I think there’s a chance she will sell it again. I, personally, go to Bailey after they admit to struggling with the debt, I think there’s a conversation about it. At that point I go straight to Bailey’s Office and offer to take on their debt, this prevents them being taken and assaulted, but doubles your weekly rent.

If you softlock, via Eden, the Asylum, Prison, Remy’s Farm, the Wolf Cave, the Hawk Tower, etc, it doesn’t register as time moving for Bailey, I don’t think it ever does actually, if you don’t go back to the Orphanage, you basically don’t have to pay, but the moment you set foot inside Bailey will want the money for a week, it will never be more. At least not for now.

In the Forest, boots, bullet cases, and gunshots are all referencing Eden, and capture will softlock you into his cabin until you can escape and outrun them/seduce them enough. Black wolf has different markers: paw prints, eyes glowing in the undergrowth, etc.

In terms of the milking issue, I’m not really sure - are you getting an error message? If you aren’t worried about getting feats- then maybe try going into the settings, turning on the cheats, and then toggling the lactating setting off then on again and see if that resets anything.

As the game goes on, your allure goes up, which is just a base setting of the game, the higher your allure becomes, the more likely interactions by NPCs are. Buckle up, the fun of being nonconned by unnamed characters has only just begun. Bad scores in the degen game is the name of the game!

It does seem to be that you can’t be interacted with and approached by NPC during events, like dates, or at any point having agreed to do something with a character. They’re a set script that can’t be interrupted unless a glitch occurs, and you can’t be randomly attacked until the event is over.

Yup, it was Kylar who stole your panties. You can catch them in your room at some points.

I learned that softlocks don't progress for Bailey when I got sent to the asylum and when I got back on the friday Bailey demanded payment then instead of the sunday it was! I already learned this, but thanks anyways DD!

I almost got caught by Eden, but haven't had a run in with Black Wolf yet. I am choosing not to think of the implications that Black Wolf was originally an animal that you can have a relationship with, and instead focusing on the also canon monster version. Somehow my character knows about blackwolf despite nothing happening? Bizzare. But not of my concern.

I have a theory that the milking issue is because the asylum made my character too innocent and forget how to grope her boobs, so I'm going to try that when I play next. Or its just a glitch and I'll have to learn to cope.

Bad scores being good in the degen game is true-- I now have a stickynote on my monitor when I play so I don't worry about sucking at videogames.

I know it was Kylar, the fucking loser. When confronted he just went "but--but I..." And walked out with his metaphorical tail between his legs. Imagine getting caught stealing clothes and whining and whimpering. Kylar is so pathetic. I want to bully him so bad.

The doll is actually haunted by an adult who was in someway a guardian of a child, whether they have been a mom, a dad, a significantly older sibling that took in the younger one after something happened to their parents, etc etc. The doll was owned by their child/sibling/charge, and so their strong familial bond caused doll!caregiver to possess their charges favorite soft toy after their passing; so they could always be with them! But sadly, their charge grew older and packed the doll away. doll!caregiver couldn't reach them at that point, until years later when they were taken out of storage; they thought that they could see their charge again, but they just got donated to a thrift store with other knickknacks that their charge deem unnecessary to keep around :( And that's how dol!caregiver got into your hands! you popped by a small thriftstore while walking the town, and browsed around, eventually getting to an endcap near the back of store labeled "UNIQUE AND VINTAGE ITEMS", and there sat doll!caregiver! They'd most likely be a rubberfaced but softbodied doll, maybe a rainbow brite or a strawberry shortcake; something heavily associated with young girls from a while ago, but not too long ago, because that's why you picked the doll up in the first place! It reminded you of your childhood in some way, or maybe you were interested in older toys in general. Regardless, you brought them home, and almost immediately paranormal activity began happening. It was small things, like if you lost your keys, you'd turn around and find them on a very obvious spot you were sure you'd checked multiple times, or going to sleep with your TV on and waking up with it turned off. Little stuff like that, which made you look towards the little doll you'd brought home right before the activity began. You were a bit weary at first, but ran your memory back and deemed them harmless. You assumed it was haunted by a child, so you started to try and include it in things. You'd carry them around the house, you'd bundle them up in their own blanket at night, you even got them some little toys from the same thriftstore for them to play with! But that was all in vain, because the doll is haunted by an adult, an adult who's decided that you're their new charge. Whether or not they'd view you as a little sibling, a child, or something entirely different is up in the air, But they do care very much about you! They find it adorable that you try to take care of them- silly thing! they're the one who's supposed to take care of you! You're unaware of the spirit in the doll being an adult, and they're unaware that you think they're a child's spirit. They'll eventually do bigger stuff, like leave out milk and cookies when you get back from going out, or if you fall asleep in a chair or on the couch, you'll wake up to being tucked into your bed. doll!caregiver wouldn't want you getting a crick in your neck! + i didn't touch much on the yandere aspects of this idea, but i fear i may have yapped too much :( your writing is just very inspiring and I can't help but make an entire novel about the ideas u spur on,,, have a good day/night/whatever!! -📼 anon

I'd forgotten, people are kind - Haunted doll caregiver x reader - 🧸

You take the utmost care with your vintage toys, carefully giving them baths and trying to give them the love they must have had from whoever owned them originally. It's a labor of love, repairing any tears and touching up paint to the best of your ability, but it's worth it. The newest addition to your collection definitely needed some repairs, face cracked and faded with a body that definitely expirenced some rough play throughout the years.

Once you're finished, you're proud to say it looks almost good as new! Delicately dressed back up, the doll is now ready to be tucked into bed beside you with a few of your other plushies.

Although, when you wake up the next day every single one has fallen to the floor, the doll being the only one left on the bed. You have to apologize to them for the tubble they took, setting the plushies back onto the bed in a way that you hope makes sure there's no more accidents.

However, it becomes a nightly occurrence. That's not the only strange thing happening either. Lights flicker on and off, doors slam, disembodied footsteps follow you, everything points you to the conclusion that your doll is very much haunted. The fact both saddens and makes you relieved in a way. It must be a child's spirit, but at least they won't be collecting dust in a stuffy old thrift store anymore..

They end up with a dedicated corner in your room, filled with toys you'd think they'd like, careful not to include any stuffies or other dolls. It's actually fun setting them up with a little tea party. They seem happier too! Notes crudley scribbled in crayon start appearing, touching even if they were unsettling at first.

The ghost is strangely fixated on how well you take care of yourself, almost scolding you for not eating three meals a day. The next morning, you wake up to your favorite cereal already poured with cartoons playing on the TV.

Mathew thinks you're just the cutest. You're so much like his little sister it's uncanny, but you won't abandon him like she did. He's sure of it. He had resigned himself to rotting away before you found him. You're his savoir, and Mathew will do all he can to give all your care back tenfold.

It's a little funny watching you talk to him like a child, but he supposes that's what it must seem like to you.

You've stopped paying so much attention to your other toys at least, thank goodness. Mathew feels a bit silly for being so upset with the fact that you supplied your love to them the same way, but he deserves it more. It hurts when you aren't looking at him, it makes him scared.

You're trying to color with him now, rambling on from one thing to another. He can't help but mess with you a little, only adding to his page when you aren't looking. But by the end of the night, there are two coloring pages proudly hung up at the fridge.
