Alright time for another dca theory rant at early am... bc im tired of the community sleeping on the dca lore implications and not talking about it.

So today I was playing Security Breach, I recently finished my first run and working on getting afton ending and/princess ending. And being the completionist as i am, i go to all the areas to get all the gifts and bags with notes. But some caught my interest.

I was going underneath the backstage tunnels (the ones where you see the "Freddy you're supposed to be on lockdown" scene with Vanessa) and i found a little ally you need Montys claws for, as i do, i open them and to find a small room filled with twisted looking trees and branches with a projector in the middle of the room to a large screen upon orange tarp covering circular objects. I find it more strange because it first reminded me of the Dredbear games in Help Wanted vr games, then it reminded me of Fall Fest but also of the theater room in the pizzaplex. Weird right? Well the present on top of the projector was a Sun figurine.

Does that count as Sun being more connected with Fall Fest? Far fetch for something of a vague room but it was just odd to put something like that in there.

Then as I got lost adventured along the hallways, I found the area were you get chased by Monty, Chica, and Roxy in those misty hallways near those same tunnels. Well. I found another Monty claw access room where it looked familiar. It was the same or VERY similar layout as the frankinstine mini game in Help Wanted VR where you put the bot pieces together. It was literally the same room. tvs, conveyerbelts and all. And thats where I found the Moon figurine.

And typically you find these character figurines in related areas, like alot of chica stuff will be in the kitchen or her bakery, Roxy stuff in raceway or near any chase sequences. Stuff like that, its relevant, it makes sense. So why put Sun and Moon, one of the most vaguest characters (that has collectable items mind you, i dont see any vanny or music man plushies anywhere) in spots that reference completely something else but also familiar to the player/fanbase?

Also, now knowing what we know now about fall fest? We have seen a lot of references to it at this point and who is the recurring character to show for it? Sun and Moon.

Jack-o-moon in secret level of Foxy's ride in Help Wanted 2 (and i point this out as like a maybe thing, I know this was in the Plex but i can also see this as a carnival game, but also, why Jack-o-moon? his clothing and look is so vintage, it would be more accurate if it was just moon because he was chasing us through the plex, not this jack-o character)

BB World arcade. It takes place in a carnival as well. And as one of the few playable minigames thats even tucked away and hidden that takes alot of effort to get to, has to mean something. You have the Sun and Moon in the background starting with Sun happy, then goes to Moon whos mischievous and evil looking, then back to Sun who looks mad and so on. Thats also where we make our first impression on Eclipse. Well maybe not so much its Eclipse...

When you follow the glitch line in the BB world minigame, what happens at the end? We found that the creepy looking sun/moon replacement covers the screen and prompts in purple "good night". We deemed this sprite Eclipse. Which fair. Thats what we knew at the time. Look at it again. Please. It does not look like Eclipse. It looks like Jack-o-Moon better. It has the correct coloring compared and even has an odd mouth coloring like who we see in Help Wanted 2 than to the Eclipse we see in Ruined. So the "Eclipse" we see in not Eclipse, it is Jack-o-Moon. Which makes sense because that may the dca was at the time of Fall Fest was.

Everytime we see Fall Fest, its Jack-o-Moon (vise versa).

I hope this made some slight sense or you saw where I was going with this because Im actually loosing my mind.

I was wondering what does (SH) Pluto, Moon, Sun, Lunar, Eclipse and You think of Musicals? What would their favourite musical be? (If they could ever watch it)

Honestly, I think that they'd all like musicals, but I may be a touch biased because I ADORE them. But here are my headcanons for what their favorites would be <3

Eclipse: Sweeney Todd. It's a perfect example of how revenge ruins lives. Also he's a little edgy No, but in all seriousness. It's something he can relate to. An innocent man accused and forced to leave his home behind returns to the place he was cast out from. And all that's left of him is the rage and pain he harbors over what's happened. Eclipse can see himself so much in that. But whet sets Eclipse apart is that he would never, never spill innocent blood if he could help it. <3

Sun: Hamilton! Although it hits kind of close to home for him He adores how Hamilton never stops, never slows down. And the idea of becoming someone who leaves a mark on history is... appealing. :) Not to mention the way Hamilton grieves over his mistakes. It's something Sun can relate to, in his position of power. His mistakes have real, deadly consequences. And I think that those consequences weigh heavily on him.

Moon: Wicked. A story of embracing who you are, no matter what people think of you? Not to mention the incredibly emotional ballads.

Lunar: The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. It's silly, it's chaotic. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's what Lunar ADORES about it. I think Lunar would probably struggle the MOST to enjoy musicals because many of them are romances or tragedies, but he'd be nuts about the ones like this. Just so silly and fun <3

Pluto: 36 Questions. It's such a raw story, and Pluto really adores stories like it. Love broken by deceit but rekindled through honesty. The complexity of the situation, the emotional intimacy of it all.

I hope these were fun to read, I had fun thinking about it! <3 The Star Holder Universe isn't a modern one, but they DO have things like theater. Personally, I think Sun would be the most into it. He loves drama <3 But I've no doubt all the gods would have an appreciation for it even if Lunar's not good at sitting still.

man sometimes I forget how good we have it in the sun and moon subfandom, like from the very beginning it’s been a hella welcoming community to newer creators and newer creations in general. still see the love and encouragement among us. it’s great here

okay i had hopped on HW2 today to just mess around and see after the new content update and noticed some things and had some thoughts and maybe theories from the update and stuff before and just want to dump it here. mind you its early in the am for me so i may not make sense

As i was walking around the lobby, i messed with the little character wheel up infront by the stage that displays the characters, just curious what all they looked like again so i looked at each character i had. I actually almost forgot about glamrock bonnie being in there. and like yeah his pose is something like he is in shock/ trying to defend himself. but i scrolled to another character, glamrock freddy and noticed how odd of his pose it is. idk if its lighting of the angle from where i was seeing at but his expression looked shocked? and his body language mimics or rather mirrors Bonnie's pose.

Which got me thinking...was there anything stated in the game that Freddy not know how Bonnie was gone or where he was? What if this is a freeze frame moment of them two in that backroom together before disaster stuck? What if Freddy witnessed Monty kill Bonnie. And Monty is going after Freddy next. Like is there anything in the game that had stated otherwise? I can imagine something of Freddy being there and maybe memory wiped and given the corprate "Bonnie is retired/on vacation/going elsewhere" kind of stuff but is still sad that his best friend is gone. But that same attitude can go to if Freddy does remember the incident. Freddy isnt mean to Monty in base game but they dont seem close either like he is to lets say Chica (i cant rememeber if he says anything that might hint he knows Roxy well) because that isnt in his personality per say.

I might be thinking too much into this scenario but i just thought it was two very odd poses that complimented each other to two very relevant characters.

Also another theory. about dca

I've seen other people talk about this but i need to like dive deeper about it bc i love dca but i love to see any angst lore from them (because we literally know nothing about them in cannon.)

So the whole "DCA is actually part of the carnaval era of fnaf" yes. i agree. there is a suspscious amount of similarity to the build of mimic and the dca. like the hand structure, the teeth (why would the dca need teeth behind a mask??), and the exposed wires outside of frame, and they are both the only humanoid animatronics i believe. Besides the puppet. But the puppet has none of those features. That leads me to believe that the dca and mimic had the same uh maker. like theres a certain style to the animatronics that you can tell who built what.

I forget the guys name, but basically the guy that made the mimic might have made the dca as well.

Why have moon be seen as the aggressive one? Why have him set at the carousel? the "What makes you so special line".

There is a small part of my brain that believes that maybe moon was first to have a body. the original was something to like the jack-o-moon design where moon was all fall fest themed as a scarecrow. He was meant to be scary and scare the kids. Sun during those carousel games would be the announcer but we never saw him.

but. i could be half wrong about that.

scratch the moon was the first part. they shared a body from the start with their original design at fall fest. Jack-o-moon was just a cosmetic for moon to comeout. at night (or something like that). in the house that was revealed in the puzzle, we see quite a few sun and moon images on the panel. sure its a classic design. but you cant just put a sun and moon and NOT think about the two vague characters that they have that are literally resemble the sun and moon.

Their body is dated. you can see in security breach that they have no recharge station, not even one in their room (which by the way takes lots of effort to figure out and get into in sb), they have wires STICKING OUT and they are very dirty compared to all animatronics. even so you can say that music man and the dca are the only animatronics that dont erode so rapidly during the game. Their design is so different from the rest of the cast. Their design is not sleek. They arent even an animal! Heck, the dj is referenced as a spider and thats something! and we just have a sun and moon.

My brain is getting fried but basically like

sun is really the only passive one. sure hes sassy but he never kills (except in hw2 in a certain circumstance so does that mean he can get the virus?) and its painted and even told as moon wasnt always this aggressive and that he was soft, and gentle to the littles. So did he always have the scare factor bc of his fall fest days and had to be programmed to be softer? Sun had to be around kids anyway to deal with since fall fest, and be all announcery, but he carries that into his theater kid/childcare roll in sb. was moon more likely to get the virus becasue he went under so many changes before? im not sure if that made sense. but like moon went through the most personality changes over the course of his time.

I also have so many questions about eclipse too (like why is it jack-o-moon and not jack-o-eclipse?) but i think that is to be descovered or to be believed its a merged program of sun and moon when needed.

but yeah thats my ramble. idk if it got anywhere or made any sense if at all but im going to eep

On the other end

A small dcaXy/n idea I had

Premis: Y/N works part time in the daycare but doesn't really interact with the dca which doesn't mean the dca didn't notice them there.

Start of the story

Y/N gets messages from an unknown number and decides to answer

They start messaging thinking that they don't know each other at all

They notice that the tone and wording in the messages switches completely throughout the day but get used to it way too fast

Y/N's life is a complete mess right now so Unknown is a pleasant distraction

They never tell each other their real names but use nicknames instead

Both share how they feel often and text about life and just anything that they think of

Someday y/n just calls their unknown friend to share some great news because they have no one else they want to share it with

They don't pick up but call back later

A male voice they have never heard answers. A pleasant one. They talk for hours.

But the voice tells them to only call at night bc he can't talk on the phone while working. But texting is fine

Y/N falls in love over late night phone calls and long text convos

They ask if they could meet up and hang out

He doesn't answer

The connection goes silent

The last thing he sent is "I'm so sorry. But I can't" written only a few minutes after their question (in the middle of the day)

Hours go by and they get no answer from him anymore

Hurt and worried Y/N is in a daze of crying and starring at nothing for the rest of the week

This is when Y/N misses their break bc they stayed in the daycare closet to cry

As they step out the daycare is dark sth that Y/N was never there to see

Then they hear it. The voice of the person they love singing from where the kids are sleeping.

Y/N stumbles through the dark until they reach the kids and lock eyes with the daycare attendant

Moon goes quiet and his eyes betray him and show his shock

Y/N is stunned

"It's you?"

no i dont think pizza plex fics/aus are overdone or boring. i literally NEVER get tired of it!!

it brings me joy seeing these animatronics fall in love, develop meaningful relationships, and somehow miraculously survive the pizzaplex being ON FIRE over and over again

im shaking hands with every Y/N who ends up kissing the robots or just having an incredibly deep bond that isn't quite romantic or platonic and is actually a secret third thing that is incredibly gay after a series of near death experiences!!! <33
