About Me:
I am 18+ and will only write with partners who are also 18+
Willing to double as any gender, any pairing, any fandom
Prefers writing male characters in male x female relationships (will do AxA when doubling)
Enjoys romance and action in my stories
Laid-back, communicative. I will not ghost you!
Flexible writer, quality posts: post length varies depending on the plot and the post, but my typical range is 1-3+ paragraphs
Attempts to reply every 1-2 days, but will let you know about any unintended absences
Prefers third-person
Willing to play canon characters and original characters
Prefers long-term stories
Most of all, I enjoy writing and collaborating. I consider myself easy to get along with and being able to bring my writing partner joy with each reply is something that drives my passion for this hobby!
Open to nsfw
Bonus: Not required, but I enjoy sibling dynamics. Keep in mind, I'm talking about platonic sibling interactions. If we're doubling with OC/Canon, it could be particularly interesting for our OCs to be siblings. It increases the depth of our world and increases interaction between characters. Again, not required.
Fandoms:
Seeking partners who are willing to play a canon female character. I have plots, pairings, and ideas for each fandom that I list here.
I am not picky. I will not be upset if you do not portray the character with 100 percent accuracy. Please, do not expect that there will be pressure to be perfect. I enjoy it when my partner adds their own twist, anyway
Willing to double and play as anyone you want in return!
Canon characters that I am seeking a partner to play will be listed under the fandom
Fandoms:
Pairings that I am seeking are listed beside the character, but these are not the only pairings I am willing to do. Again, for your half, I'll do whatever you want.
Pirates of the Carribean
Elizabeth Swann (Will Turner or male OC x Elizabeth Swann)
DC
Supergirl(CW's Arrowverse) (male OC, Barry Allen, Mon-El, or Oliver Queen x Kara Zor-El)
Fear The Walking Dead
Alicia Clark (Male OC, Matt Sale, Jake Otto, or Will x Alicia Clark)
Nancy Drew (CW TV show)
Nancy Drew (male OC, Ace, Ned Nickerson, Gil Bobsey, Detective Tamura, or Owen Marvin x Nancy Drew)
Riverdale
Betty Cooper (male OC, Jughead Jones, or Archie Andrews x Betty Cooper)
The Lost World (1999 TV series)
Veronica Layton (male OC or Ned Malone x Veronica Layton)
Bonus: I can also do Last of Us. I can play Joel for you (or other canon characters) if we double. I'd ask to do something in the fandoms above or maybe a second TLOU pairing if you can use one of the face claims from above for your character.

Went on a research spree
Have you ever thought about Gotham??
I've seen it referenced as "the largest city in America", and I'm assuming it's by population rather than land area.
Irl the biggest city in America is New York, with more the 8 million people and 469 miles square or 754 km square (including some 150 miles square of water).
It is BIG.
But the largest city in America by land area is Sitka in Alaska and New York doesn't even make it to the top 25 (it's 28).
And since New York does exist in the DC universe, it means Gotham probably has around 9 million people (NY is 8.6).
And this fact is funnier when you remember that Gotham has a Lady Gotham that is heavily inspired by the Statue of Liberty.
It's a HUGE city to cover for one fucking human and Batman is absolutely insane for always saying "Gotham is mine" and "I work alone". I'm surprised there isn't at least one other vigilante hero working the day shift and going under his radar, or like in a specific district.
(I've seen that in batfamily fics they sometimes assign a district per bat, but idk how canon it is).
I'm really curious as to Gotham's land size and neighboring cities. Blüdheaven (what a fucking name btw) is called Gotham's little sister I think? And in Under the Red Hood (don't quote me on it, I'm high and trying to remember my sources) Batman and Red Hood are standing on a tall building and they can see Blüdheaven's atomic explosion from there, pretty closely I'd say. But it varies from 40 minutes by car to 2-3 hours by train. Very confusing.
On the other hand Metropolis is said to be Gotham's twin city from across a bay. I read in a comic recently that it takes 2-3 hours by car to get from one to the other, which surprised me. In the DC Universe Online game the cities are so close you can glide for 2-3 minutes and get there. I'm aware it could be for gameplay purposes, but even in DC Super Hero Girls the cities are separated from a pretty small bridge.
Now get this, the bridge linking Gotham and Metropolis has said to be the longest suspension bridge in the WOLRD. Irl the longest is 2023 meters (~2km or 1.2 miles) so if there's only the bridge to go through, it's not a 3 hours ride.
Now where am I going with this?
Nowhere. I'm surprised if anyone is reading all of this.

I was thinking of all the theme in My Adventures With Superman and came to a conclusion: I want to see Ultraman in this show!
For those who don't follow comics, Ultraman is an alternate version of Clark from DC's Mirror Universe: Earth 3. He is a sadistic bully who's really a complete coward with a massive inferiority complex.
And I know this doesn't sound like the most original idea, and people have been burn out on multiverse stories, but the second they established that Clark can only use his powers to their full potential when he helps people - which I think the idea is that his powers react to Clark being his most genuine self - introducing a threat that inverts that and also literally is a version Clark who lived his exact same life, only in a wolrd with cosmically inversed morals, could be really interesting.
Also, 'cause we could have a version of this scene to make everyone on tumblr go full-on "Protect Attack Mode" for Clark and on Clark:

About the DND campaing!
My ground rules are:
- No slurs. It should be obvious but I hear a lot of R-words and N-words when trying to find people to play with on discord. So no offensive shit outside rp and no slurs on general.
- Do not attack fhe other players. Yes even if they are out of characther or their characther is being awfull.
- No explicit sexual content. This is a PG-12 campaing on this sense (overt violence is cannon typical for both Gotham and D&D so I'll let it slide).
- We will not use our real names. Characthers names for rping and tumblr/discord nicknames for out of characther conversations
- Only one characther for person. You reserve You characther and I'll help you build your sheet.
- It'll be text based.
- It can only start after 18 of december. I still have to flash out the campaing, my classes only end in december 14 and also 18 is when the Football World Cup ends and my family is steriotypical brazilian on the sense that whatching the Wolrd Cup is mandatory.
- I'll put the discord link at 15/12 so you can get used to it. We can do an episode 0 at the 16th to build the sheets together if you want.
- If you want to ask questions or make adicional rules just ask me (in the coments, in the dms or in the ask you can choose)
- I may take a bit to respond because I'm doing my homework. Its end term and that means two presentations, a relatory, a case study and a documentary comparative report. I'm only working on one of the presentations rn so I'll answer later today or tomorrow.
- The characthers will be either Gothamverse characthers portrait by the players or your gotham adaptation of other DC characthers (also portrait by the player).
Add people who want to play:
@pharoahkittylover, @moxieok , @lllillithh, @i-came-back, @sir--hades , @kiritale

Henry Cavill isn't done yet
So Variety posted an article, which just covers the interview Mens' Health' had with Henry Cavill. And I'm gonna just copy the most interesting stuff.
“The cape is in the closet,” Cavill said in Mens’ Health’s December cover story. “It’s still mine. I’m not going to sit quietly in the dark as all the stuff is going on. I’ve not given up the role. There’s a lot I have to give for Superman yet. A lot of storytelling to do. A lot of real, true depths to the honest of the character I wasn’t to get into. I want to reflect the comic books. That’s important to me. There’s a lot of justice to be done for Superman. The status is: You’ll see.” - Variety
And that's like, you know, fucking great!
I was never a fan of Superman. He always seemed too perfect for me. But that was, when I was a kid. I'm not saying I'm a fan, because I don't read a lot of comics and I don't how he's in them, but I know, that he's a good guy from the neighborhood, but with superpowers. Which I want to see.
Zack Snyder made a bit emo (inside, not outside) Superman in Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), so, you know, meh. But I kind of liked him in Justice League (2017). When he tried to fight the league for no reason, it was stupid, yes, but entertaining, and if I remember correctly, he got that good neighbor vibe in the end, for example in the end credit scene with flash.
And when I look at Henry, I see Superman, his smile is just beautiful. I know, he could totally make the best Superman we ever saw (for me it's just the one from the three earlier I mentioned, I have a lot to catch up to, I know).
The problem tho is Werner Bros. Maybe not completely them, but Walter Hamada. In a way. Hamada makes a great job, since he turned to DC. We already got 3 good/great movies and 2 of them even hit over 1 billion in the box office. But one of the reasons it's working so good, is staying away from Snyderverse. Which, again, is working. And the most recognizable characters from Snyderverse are Cavill's Superman and Affleck's Batman. Ben won't come back, definitely, but no one said anything about Henry and Cthulhu, let's hope they gonna announce his movie or at least a cameo. Because if Gal's Wonder Woman and Jason's Aquaman work just fine, Superman can too.
For now, we have to wait and see, maybe even watch The Witcher in the mid time, just to see, how well is Henry doing with a sword.
Here's a mustache Henry for you :3

hey dc lets bring back characters being disabled and still having fulfilling lives and not minding their disability
[image: a comic panel from the new teen titans (vol 2) #47. there are a bunch of different scenes togehter in the comic panel, all featuring Joseph Wilson. IN one of the scenes he is lifting weights with his shirt off, in another scene he is wearing a white tux dancing with with a woman with black hear, in another he is painting, wearing a white bathrobe, with the same woman in the room. there is joey’s writing in a textbox: "Only rarely would I miss the power of speech. My wolrd was so rich, it's possibilities so limitless. I grew into adulthood, never expecting that the serum that had changed my father had also changed me.” end image]
#pathetic that stuff from the 80s or 90s is better on this front#than a lot of stuff today. maybe theyre doing joey better today i havent seen him yet but they are doing babs worse#dc comics#disabled characters#joseph wilson#the new teen titans

ok hello ww84 review. SPOILERS AHEAD duh lol
disclaimer: im just some guy that doesnt know shit about fuck so dont come for me im only doing this bc people have told me they like these little reviews and nothing like stranger’s validation fuels a soul
short: a few individual scenes rlly stood out to me! action shots were phenomenal! that ending suit MWAH! but i thought it was silly and dumb especially after the expectations set w the first one
long:
okay so the whole intro scene. I GET IT I DO u need to open w a punch but what fucking relevance please
then we meet barbara. why is the central villain just some jealous bitch ? the entire thing fueling her is her jealousy?? kind of goes against the whole plot of human goodness from ww1 right ?? if u ask me (also i thought they were gonna kiss so that was disappointing).
but continuing with barbara- the whole buildup to her LITERALLY KILLING SEVERAL MEN is nonexistent so idk where the sudden evil urges came from. and the way she lets Lord just jerk her around for halfway through the movie is so annoying
okay central conflict in itself was SO dumb. i remember they introduce the stone and at the first second i knew.
This is about a fucking magic rock
BYE
and mr. Lord wishes to be the rock and goes around granting wishes like this is fucking 1001 arabian nights.
it was so silly with its message of human greed or whatever and the way none of the antagonists face repercussions and the entire HUMAN CIVILIZATION is jerked around by this one guy is so fucking STUPID. i know they were dumbing it down so kids would buy and watch it but THIS MUCH??
but there were good things 🙄🙄🙄 the action shots were phenomenal. i did tear up when steve died (again) i did i wont lie. steve genuinely was such a good character here perfect dude.
the last scene with Lord running to his kid was so sweet i loved it.
okay FINALLY;
the silliness compared to the first movie really let me down a lot. the core values of inherent human goodness and the beauty of the wolrd or whatever that they establish diana in believing with the first movie? GONE. non-existent. it just makes me so mad to see them reverting back to some happy go lucky movie
and i Know i know. its a fucking superhero DC movie what do u expect. but honestly? it IS more. ill never stop saying it ww1 was so fucking good.
its not like this one was terrible. like i said, great costumes, great shots, some heart-wrenching scenes, some sad ones, good acting + good characters. but overall just very forgettable. im already blanking on some middle scenes.
it was childish and just a let down for me. 5/10
#im gonna go watch the first one again to reignite my soul#i know superhero movies blah blah blah what can u expect from one but srsly not even just to girlboss it wonder woman was phenomenal and 84#is just so sad to see it reduce so mcuh

Heroines of WOCtober: Rose Wilson
On one of his missions Slade Wilson, better known as Deathstroke the Terminator, Wolrd’s Deadliest Assassin, had to escort a Hmong princess Lilian Worth from Cambodia and along the way he slept with her. Because of course he did. The result of this affair was a girl named Rose. She possesses a precognition ability that allows her to see glimpses of a near future. It is theorized to be a result of her brain being alerted due to her father’s modified super-soldier DNA, allowing it to constantly observe all variables around her and predict what is going to happen.
Slade at first wanted to keep her from his life, going as far as sending her to Teen Titans so they can protect her from him and his enemies. At some point (read, when new writers took over) he changed his name and manipulated her into becoming his apprentice as new Ravager. In fact, he drove her to a point she gouged her own eye to be more like him....and then Slade decided to use her eyesocket as a Kryptonite storage without telling her it causes cancer. Father of the year /sarcasm.
Rescued from Slade’s clutches by Nightwing, Rose would join Teen Titans but her relationship with the team would be wonky. The fact her father is a good candidate to “Officially Bigger Piece of Shit Than the Joker” title doesn’t help. Rose might have been tiptoeing the line between hero, anti-hero and villain depending on the writer, but what she really wants is people who could accept her and for her father to love her. Sadly she got an old man whose idea of showing he cares is to put an anonymous hit on her so he can show up and save her life. I’m not even joking.
NOTE: In recommended reading I will not be putting New 52 books. Not only because they whitewashed her but also because said New 52 books just plain sucked.
Recommended Readings:
Deathstroke #15, #0, #42-48, #51, #55 - Rose’s introduction and early stories
New Teen Titans #122-126 - introduced to Titans, issues not avialable on ComiXology.
The Titans #25-38, #44, #50 - Rose becomes the nanny of Roy Harper’s daughter, Lian.
Teen Titans - Rose is featured through this 100 issue series in various ways, so I’ll just link to whole series and below will reference specific arcs.
Teen Titans 1/2, #7-12 - Rose becoming Ravager
Nightwing #112-117 - Dick teaches Rose how to be a hero and helps her break free of Slade’s control
Teen Titans #34-60 - Rose joins the team
Terror Titans #1-6 - Rose-lead team in clutches of Clock King and Dark Side Club
Deathtrap - Crossover between Teen Titans #69-70, Titans #13 and Vigilante #6 (last one not on ComiXology)
Teen Titans #71-76 and #79-82 have Rose in backup stories they were later collected in a standalone graphic novel Ravager: Fresh Hell
Teen Titans #77-78, #88-100 - First pair of issues has Rose fight zombies with her father, from #88 she rejoins the team.
Deathstroke #1-50 - Technically Rose only shows up in issue #2 and she isn’t in every issue but this book is tightly plotted in a manner that means you will probably have to pick it all (except Deathstroke vs Batman or Teen Titans crossovers) to not get lost.
Guest appearances
Batgirl #64 - Rose as Slade’s apprentice fights Cassandra Cain
Blue Beetle #18 - As a member of Teen Titans helps Blue Beetle against Lobo.
Alternate Universes
Teen Titans #18-19 - Rose from Titans of Tomorrow Timeline
Tiny Titans #1-20, #29-30, #40, #50 - Rose in acclaimed humorous series for kids
Teen Titans Go! #49 - Despite the name, it is set in continuity with 2003 cartoon and has Rose as the daughter of Slade seeking to avenge him.
DC Comics Bombshells #74-75 and Bombshells United #11, #26-33, #38 - Rose is part of a coven with Enchantress and vampire Barbara Gordon and all 3 and Killer Croc are in a polyamorous relationship.
Flashpoint: Deathstroke and the Curse of the Ravager #1-3 - In this alternate universe Rose is the daughter of Deathstroke the pirate
In other media:
Rose, voiced by Pamela Adlon, shows up in episodes “Cool School” and “Operation Dude Rescue” of Teen Titans Go! cartoon
Freddi Rogers voices a Mirror Universe Rose, who is a kindhearted political activist and daughter of the president Slade Wilson, in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths animated movie
Rose is played by Chelsea Zhang in second season of Live-Action series Titans, making the character’s first foray into live-action (amusingly enough the name Ravager traveled to silver screen first, being used by a completely unrelated character in Arrow)
Rose is playable in Lego DC Super-Villains video game

Imagine if the show would have the same tone as The Amazing wolrd of Gumball, Jon would be like Darwin and Damian like Gumball but more grinny. I bet one of the first episodes would be Batman and Superman introducing the kids to each other and trying to get them along.
That is literally already an arc in the comics that they can just animate like, right fricking now XD Damnit DC everything you need already exists!

Sometimes I wonder what the comic industry - and the movie industry to a smaller extend - would be in a wolrd where the Comic Code Authority was never created. Or even just DC if the Corruption of Innocence was never wrote.
I wonder if I would even like comics in this wolrd (likely yes) and wonder what would I like in comics in a wolrd they are soo diferent from the ones I know (probably horror comics). Who would this characthers I love so much even be? And would the lack of censorship in comics had made it a more safe industry to woman, poc and queer people (both to work and to enjoy?)? Would my safe heaven be actually safe? Would comics be more used to subvert and criticize society in more direct and "extreme" (extreme compard to now days not really to extremism) ways?
#the code changed comics to an inconprehensible level#for instance both batman non kill rule and his partnership with the police exist because the code#the code forbid a negative depiction of cops#it's also likely the reason the villains are queercoded#as it forbid representation of queer people and that queercoded characthers were show as a deviance and punished#and that are just some rules#crime and horror comics were also more popular than superheros after ww2 but the code was extremely harsh on them#comic code of authority#censorship#comic book history#dc

Justice League #26 Review
Written by: James Tynion IV
Art by: Javier Fernandez
Colors by: Hi-Fi
Cover by: Francis Manapul
Now then, its time for the Justice League to prepare for what the Year Of The Villain will bring to them. Although I’m not sure anything can prepare people for what may come. But lets see what the League is attempting.
Our comic opens with J’onn J’onzz hovering above the Earth, utilizing his telepathy to sift through the memories of people proclaiming that a ‘man in a cloak’ had visited them and offered something to them. All of the stories so far have been lies, but J’onn is still a Manhunter and his current target is Lex Luthor, even if the destruction of Lexcorp somehow points to him being dead. And while he is usually the man to view the larger machinations, J’onn wants to commit himself to this task.
Out in outer space, we see Jon Stewart, The Flash, and Superman at the House of Heroes, a multiversal gathering hub for heroes from....across the multiverse. For Flash, this is another day in Central City. For Jon, he is seeing some exceedingly weird stuff like Captain Carrot for the first time and he is barely able to process it. Eventually, we get to watch as Superman and the Wolrd Forger give a speech to the gathered heroes, explaining how this entire situation of the multiverse dying is their fault but that everyone can help them save this. Namely, by tracking down the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor.
Down in the Hall of Justice, we get Mera and Hawkgirl talking about how Hawkgirl is prepared to kill J’onn for going rogue like this before they get sidetracked towards the current ventures of the Hall of Justice. The first stop is their efforts to scan the nearby dimensions for the Legion of Doom, trying to identify Perpetua’s energy signature to let them pick out which other universe they might be in if that’s how they’re hiding. And since they have minds to spare, Hawkgirl asks them to start preparing for worst-case scenarios with the villains of the DC Universe. Next is a quick stop in another room as a gathering of every great detective in the DC Universe (excluding Batman) attempt to suss out the possible locations for the Hall of Doom on Earth. And finally, we get to see heroes like Black Canary, Orphan, and Hawkman training the Teen Titans for what’s to come.
As they are about to resume their talk, a psychic message from Jarro (palm-sized version of Starro. Kind of a Batman fan) alerts Hawkgirl to the fact Starman passed out again. Apparently, he’s attempting to amp his powers up by connecting to the other bits of the Totality through time. Except he keeps failing. And occasionally exploding. After that, Mera questions if Hawkgirl thinks this is enough. And Hawkgirl counters by declaring how this might not even be close to enough, given the scale of combat expected compared to what they're used, and is soon made to reveal her anger towards J’onn is more over him ‘leaving’ them all these things for her to do. So, naturally, Mera calls Hawkgirl a dumbass for not offloading some of this military setup onto a queen who is used to this and tells her to go after J’onn right now, which she acquiesces to.
Our comic ends as we go back to J’onn, landing in front of an abandoned house. Because out of all the stories he found, one of them turned out to be true and it lead him here. So, he enters the house and finds someone inside. Except, instead of Lex as expected, J’onn soon finds Lionel Luthor running towards him and preparing to strike down the martian.
The art for this issue is very average. Nothing of it stands out as exceptional or strong in comparison to the other parts of the issue, but to be fair, that was to be expected with an issue devoted entirely to cooldown from the last issue and setup for the next massive storyline that it seems prepared to tackle. If I can have one gripe, it would be that the backgrounds and background characters weren’t a little better detailed given how much importance is being placed on all of their work. But otherwise, a good issue to setup for the coming Year Of The Villain stuff.

New DC titles quite often had spotty or no distribution in my area, at least as far as my regular 7-11 was concerned, so there were several books over teh years that I became aware of in ads but never saw until much later. SUPER-TEAM FAMILY was one of those. The first issue’s cover had been in House Ads previously, and I was interested because the Flash was on that cover--but none of the first three issues materialized in my neck of the woods. Fortunately, this fourth one did--and it was a whopper!
Behind another Ernie Chua cover that I don’t much like at all was a grand slam as far as I was concerned: a full-length golden age adventure of the Justice Society of America! And it was one in which I was already familiar with their antagonist, the monstrous Solomon Grundy. I was already a huge JSA fan, and I presume this selection of reprint was intended to help promote their then-new series in ALL-STAR COMICS.
The story itself doesn’t make a heck of a lot of sense in one regard, but it is good fun. Having previously been imprisoned in a bubble by Green lantern, Solomon Grundy is freed by a stray lightning bolt, and he makes his way towards the city to take his revenge. Meanwhile, Green Lantern is early for the JSA meeting, when he’s surprised by the appearance of a mysterious figure. When the rest of teh team arrives, they find their headquarters trashed and no sign of GL. Radio reports alert them to Grundy’s rampage, and give them a list of the places he’s already been--that’s an important point--so the JSAers split up to go to each of those sites, hoping for a clue as to Green Lantern’s whereabouts.
From there, we get a series of short five-page sequences in which each member reaches his objective city, only to run afoul of Solomon Grundy in it (along with whatever other trouble is being caused that they can take care of along the way.) Which doesn’t make sense as the radio report indicated that Grundy had already left each of those spots, and there’s no indication in the story that he’s doubled back. But whatever! We get to spotlight each member of teh Justice Society in action individually, but none of them have the wherewithal to bring Grundy’s rampage to a halt.
Thereafter, we wind the clock back to reveal that Green lantern’s visitor at JSA headquarters had been his pal Doiby Dickles, with news of Grundy’s rampage. GL jets off to track down the monster--narrowly missing him, as Grundy appears and then trashes the JSA’s meeting room. Green Lantern has built a radio that’s attuned to “the mental wave-length of Solomon Grundy”, which he’s able to use to chart the creature’s progress. He phones this information in to the radio station (becoming responsible for the broadcast that put the JSA on the trail--it’s possible that writer Gardner Fox’s intention here was that GL’s gizmo was predicting Grundy’s path, but that’s not what’s on the page.) and by using those locations as a vector, he’s able to predict where the beast will be at a certain point in time.
And Green Lantern’s prediction is correct! But that’s not enough to save him from a pummeling at Grundy's hands, all of his will-power not enough to subdue the creature. He’s saved at the last moment by the arrival of his assorted JSA teammates, who together are able to hold Grundy down with their combined power--but that’s no long-term solution. Johnny Thunder accidentally hits on the answer: Green Lantern uses his Power Ring to once again entomb Solomon Grundy, and then he transports Grundy to the surface of a barren planet. So even if Grundy’s prison is once again shattered, he will have no way back to Earth.
Next was the second in the public service series Justice For All Includes Children, illustrated by Neal Adams. This was an ad rather than content, but it’s worth looking at for the naivety of its message. The intention was good, but the situation being dramatized would likely have played out a different way in real life--especially for the two black kids.
The back-up story in this issue was a fun World’s Finest story illustrated by the always-wonderful Dick Sprang, in which exposure to a strange comet while on a moon mission transforms Pilot Rogers (he’s never given a first name anywhere in the story) into the crazed super-villain Moonman whenever the moon is in the sky. Your two favorite heroes Superman and Batman (and Robin!) contend with Moonman, and are able to bring him back to sanity, while also corraling a bunch fo generic criminals who try to use Moonman for their own gain.
