Something that I find interesting in the long standing argument of Marvel VS DC, most people only ever compare the movies and the TV shows. The thing that I feel like that people don't ever bother to compare is the video games and so I want to do that.

Now, I am going to say that both Marvel and DC have their quantities of down right garbage movie, TV show and cartoon tie in games that are not worth mentioning at all by name because there are just so many. Now, I do think that DC stopped making these sooner as Marvel didn't stop until after The Winter Soldier's release.

Of course, both Marvel & DC have their LEGO games which, are excellent games for both of these two.

I don't know, most of the Marvel games have just been really not interesting to me personally. I personally think that both have their good and bad games and that it's really up to the individual.

Oh yeah I'm in a music psychology class and our first assignment (afaik) was to make a short presentation on six songs that describe our lives. I wanted to share those, so here y'all go

This sounds like the woods to me, and those were a fundamental part of my childhood and a big influence in how I see the world. Also I really wanted to sneak a bit of dronescape (or dronescape adjacent) music into there lmao

My fucked up journey with my gender identity. It was. An Interesting phase. I'm not super proud of it, but it was a very chaotic time for me in a lot of ways. I was suffering with severe dysphoria, and since I didn't know why, I blamed everybody else. Throw in a few really toxic friends and influences I had, and. Yeah. Good song though lmao

Internet trauma go brrrrrrr. This is very much one of two (2) medias that I feel reflect what the internet is most clearly (the other one being Bolavlk by sournoodl). Fun song and describes a huuuuge portion of my trauma.

Threw this one in for a lot of reasons. Mainly, this song is an excellent tribute to horror as a genre (especially horror films), and horror has been the most influential genre for me. Highkey began with an interest in Creepypastas as a middle schooler, which turned into fucked up creature design, which turned into horror movies and other media. Harley Poe has some excellent horror songs.

This one is just very mecore, especially like. Post-trauma, and currently after I've had a lot of emotions tied to my trauma unrepress themselves. It speaks to my impulsiveness, this almost manic mask I put on in public, my intrusive thoughts, and the pervasive feeling of fundamental isolation from humanity (or at least general society). I feel like I've become something unrecognizable from the person I used to be, and I often feel very inhuman for it.

And this one is here because it's been a comfort song for me since I was around 15. It's lovely, and it also catapulted me into more experimental and undefined genres of music. It still makes me happy to hear, and I know most of the lyrics by heart.

I just got my classes figured out btw, after missing. An entire Week of class. So I'm catching up lmao. Thankfully there isn't too much. This presentation and an assignment for graphic storytelling analyzing Marvel and DC comics are the only two assignments I have. Everything else is just reading some class PowerPoints, documents, and segments of books. I just hope it's not too chaotic when I show up to class lmao. Hopefully I'll leave a good impression from preemptively doing all of the current assignments lmao

One for All and Captain Marvel/Shazam

I once found it neat that Horikoshi referenced Fawcett Comics's Captain Marvel, specifically Captain Marvel Jr., during the early days of My Hero Academia.

The reference in question was how young Izuku has "All Might Jr." as a hero name listed among a myriad of hero names he has thought up.

I am also not surprised that the reference went over a lot of people's heads considering how Captain Marvel, or was it already Shazam, didn't have a modern theatrical release at the time and the hero was only in the minds of avid comic book readers and/or DC animation watchers and DC video game players (He's called Captain Marvel in Mortal Kombat vs. DC)

Now that I think more about it, the more I think that One For All works the same as the lightning that gives Captain Marvel his powers.

So for the uninitiated, SHAZAM stands for

With the reveal of how One For All worked, it assimilated six quirks from previous users, that are as follows.

Would you look at that, there are also six quirks to parallel the six "general" powers of the gods that Captain Marvel gets whenever he assumes his champion form.

Both Deku and Captain Marvel can call upon the specific powerset at will.

The main difference here is that for Deku, he needs to "activate" it whereas Captain Marvel doesn't need to, in fact his ability to speak every known language in existence, which he got from the Wisdom of Solomon, comes to him spontaneously whenever he talks to someone who doesn't have English as their first language, or whenever someone is talking to him in another language.

Main point is that both of them have access to all of them at any time.

I really had no point to prove, I just want to point out that My Hero Academia took more inspiration from Captain Marvel/Shazam then either Captain America or Superman as a lot of media outlets claim.

To say he was in a bad mood was putting it mildly. He was in one of the worst moods he'd allowed himself to be in for a while. It had been a shit week, with shit results where he'd had to take more than enough shit. It was too early in the season to be dealing with a repeat of seasons past. No matter how many times he swallowed the lump in his throat wouldn't go down and he knew he must have looked so open and vulnerable right now, but it was a level of vulnerability he was comfortable showing only you.

"So--I don't want too much?"

"Fuck no. You should want it all cause that is what you deserve. Every motherfuckin thing."

He smiled, grabbed your face and pulled your lips to his. There was no hurry in this kiss, he wanted you to know how much he appreciated you, how much he truly cared for you. Slowly his tongue swirled around yours as one of his hands roamed down your back. You moaned against his lips quickly getting into the kiss. You nibbled his bottom lip and wrapped your arms around his neck.

His heart beat so wildly the vibrations went all through him. Three words pounded in his head. Three words that he'd often felt near bursting to utter but had restrained himself every time. Those three words were at the tip of his tongue right now and at not one of his brain's finer moments he let them lose--against your lips.

You pulled back from him with your brow crooked. "What was that?"

He laid there frozen in place as his mind ran through a plethora of scenarios, reactions and endings. He had no confidence in any of them though. Sighing he smiled softly.

"Thank you."

You snorted. "For the fuck?"

"For being the only place I can find true peace."

You held his gaze for a few moments then you gently clutched his chin before you softly kissed him.

"Anytime. You know I gotchu."

He held his pinky up and you rolled your eyes. "So childish," you replied as you hooked your pinky with his. Both of you then kissed the other's pinky sealing the unspoken vow between you.

Forever whenever you need me.

Hello everyone, Draw Goku as a tribute to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, this Anime will mark our childhood for everyone around the world.

Since my beginnings, I drew cell when I was a 13-year-old child. I was also a fan of this anime. I saw it on Cartoon Network in the TOONAMI block. I LIKED ITS GOKU TRILOGY LIKE:

Well, 8 years ago Akira Torimaya paid tribute to Stan Lee, the creator of Marvel and DC superheroes, for his taste in Japanese manga and American Manga.

Well, on March 1, 2024, the Japan Hospital sent a message from its fans around the world and said:

Dear friends and partners.

We are deeply saddened to inform you that manga creator Akira Toriyama passed away on March 1 due to an acute subdural hematoma. He was 68 years old.

It is our deep regret that he still had several works in full creation with great enthusiasm, furthermore, he would have many more things to achieve.

However, he has left many manga titles and works of art to this world. Thanks to the support of so many people around the world, he has been able to continue his creative activities for over 45 years. We hope that Akira Toriyama's unique world of creation will continue to be loved by everyone for a long time.

We inform you of this sad news, thanking you for your kindness during his life.

The funeral was celebrated with his family and very few of his relatives. Following his wishes for peace of mind, we respectfully inform you that we will not accept flowers or condolence gifts. visits, offerings and others. Likewise, we ask that you refrain from conducting interviews with his family.

The future plan for the memorial meeting is not decided, we will inform you when it is confirmed. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support as always.
