Dragon Ball Super Manga ch. 27-29
āWelp, this tournament of powerās not gonna instigate itself!ā
Iāve been impressed with Toyotaroās leaner, meaner versions of the Universe 6 and Zamasu sagas, so I was hoping he would work the same magic on the build-up to the Tournament of Power.Ā Unfortunately, Iām a bit disappointed.Ā I think Episodes 68-96 anime took way too long to get there, but Chapters 27-32 of the manga seem to go too quickly.Ā I guess that shouldnāt surprise me, as thereās a lot of middle ground between 29 anime episodes and six manga chapters.Ā
So you know the drill.Ā Iām going to highlight stuff that the manga did differently, starting with this Beerus/Vegeta rematch that happens right before Goku goes to Beerusā planet and reminds Zeno of the tournament he promised.Ā
This always struck me as a plot dangler from the anime, because we see Goku and Vegeta get a lot stronger over the course of DBS, and yet we never find out if theyāve improved enough to match Beerus.Ā Sure, Beerus clobbered them both in Battle of Gods, but now they know how to do Super Saiyan Blue.Ā Well, in this chapter, Beerus scoffs at the idea that the Saiyans will ever be his rivals, and the Oracle Fish insists that itās true, so he challenges Vegeta to see what progress heās made.
And the answer is ānot enoughā, though Vegeta does a lot better than he did the last time he fought Beerus, so thereās no shame in it.Ā
Of course, this doesnāt take into account Gokuās Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken level, but that doesnāt exist in the manga.Ā Instead we have this āCompletedā Super Saiyan Blue form, where Goku learned how to perfect the transformation.Ā Vegeta reveals he can do the same thing in this chapter, but itās still not enough.Ā
We also get this scene in Grand Zenosā Palace where they discuss the problem of too many universes before Goku arrives.Ā The Zenos are playing some sort of game involving the universes, and they each note how thereās too many of them, and since the mortals arenāt developing much in most of the universes, thereās little point in observing them all.Ā So they contemplate erasing eight universes, and thatās when Goku shows up to talk about the tournament.
So we get a bunch of scenes where the gods are summoned to Zenoās palace for the announcement.Ā In particular, Iām confused by this one of Sidra and Roh discussing the destruction of a planet.Ā Unlike Beerus, Sidrah seems to take the job very seriously, and he carefully calculates the pros and cons of his decision before acting. Also, Roh seems very interested in the process.Ā Ā This would be weird enough, but in the anime, these two are shown to be a lot more craven and opportunistic.Ā So Iām not sure what to take from this.
At the palace, the Grand Minister asks about the extra guy in the Universe 11 contingent, and Belmod introduces Toppo as his apprentice, as he plans to retire soon.Ā In the anime, Toppo is introduced as Khaiās bodyguard, and Iām pretty sure the āCandidate God of Destructionā thing will get brought up later, but itās strange that they didnāt explain it in his debut.Ā
I guess Iāll talk about it here, since this seems to be the first time it gets brought up.Ā Beerus and Whis have hinted at the idea of Goku or Vegeta training to take Beerusā place someday, but the Saiyans donāt seem interested in the job, so it never goes anywhere.Ā With Toppo, we have confirmation that mortals can be promoted to the rank of Hakaishin, which implies that Belmod and all the other Destroyers were once mortals themselves.Ā
So the Grand Minister announces the Tournament, but the Zeno from the destroyed timeline doesnāt know what a martial arts match is like, so we get the Zeno Expo.Ā But in this version, itās a battle royale of all the Destroyers.Ā
It starts out as an 11-on-1 fight against Beerus, partly because they blame him for Goku getting them into this mess, and also theyāre still sore at him for the trouble he caused long ago.Ā According to Whis, Zeno held a hide-and-seek tournament, and Beerus fell asleep during it and ruined the whole thing.Ā The others managed to calm Zeno down, but theyāve resented Beerus for it ever since.
But Beerus does surprisingly well, and soon enough, the other Destroyers begin to turn on one another in an effort to win.
Oh, and hereās this bonus comic where Trunks decides to return to his own timeline, or at least an altered version of it.Ā This doesnāt make a lot of sense, given how this was Whisā idea, and Trunks wouldnāt have considered this on his own.
Back to the rumble, a bunch of stuff happens, and itās hard to keep track of any of it, which is probably by design, since not even the Zenos can follow any of this.
So the Grand Minister calls off the match and disqualifies everyone.Ā Zeno nearly abandons the Tournament idea altogether, when Goku asks him to give it another chance, since mortal battles wonāt be anything like that.Ā
Fortunately, thereās a mortal in the house who can face off with Goku, and this gives the Zenos a chance to road test some new rules.Ā No weapons, no killing, and no flying.Ā Apparently these are all for the sake of making the action more fun for the Zenos to watch.Ā I donāt get the no-flying thing, but the Tournament of Power was a great time, so I guess the Zenos know what theyāre doing.Ā Ā I mean, you donāt become the Kings of Everything without knowing a thing or two.
Goku transforms, which excites the Zenos, so they want to see all of Gokuās transformations.Ā He goes to Super Saiyan 2, which is always a treat to see, but the Zenos arenāt thrilled with this one, so Goku has to go to Super Saiyan 3 right away.Ā Look, Zenos, you may be all powerful, but Super Saiyan 2 Goku kicks ass.Ā Maybe youāll understand when youāre older.
Soon enough Goku ramps up to Super Saiyan God, and all the Destroyers are impressed to see him fighting at that level.Ā Wait, if theyāre fighting at the same level, then how is this any easier for the Zenos to follow?
Goku tries to polish Toppo off by turning Super Saiyan Blue, but Toppo takes him to Dick Kick City first, and wins the match by ring-out.Ā
So yeah, Toppo wins clean.Ā How about that?

Goku had no intention of bringing Frieza back to life in ToP
I have the headcannon that Goku did not intend to bring Frieza back to life in ToP, Frieza had already been revived by Earth's Dragon Balls once and could not be revived by them again.
In the anime in episode 93, he takes a more risky attitude by mentioning the Super Dragon Balls to Frieza, telling him that the best fighter would win them as a prize, where Frieza calculates that his chances are low of obtaining them and demands that the DB of Earth be used to revive him.
In the manga in chapters 32 and 42, he just tells Frieza that he would gather the DBs to revive him, it is not mentioned whether he would use the Earth ones or the ones from Namek, but based on the anime, they were probably the ones from Earth.
But the only ones that can resurrect the same person more than once are those from Namekkusei, but he never mentions them.
I believe that Goku had no intention of bringing Frieza back to life, that he just used it to convince him to participate in the ToP and purposely omitted that Earth's DBs cannot resurrect a person already revived by them a second time, and when the wish "didn't work", he would just shrug his shoulders.
But Beerus decided to resurrect him.

Squad Goals- Universe 7 Style
First off, I hope to have a gang as awesome as this:
Beautiful. Kind of bummed that they skipped the major spots. (Mainly 17 and 18 seeing each other again, 17 bonding with Marron and Piccolo) Also...
Good ol Vegeta spreading love to Gohan and 17. He seems to be on friendish terms with 17 it seems. Well then again it was 18 that wrecked him not 17. Canāt wait for Chapter 33 when the REAL fun starts.

VNC Chapter 48 Analysis
The numbering system of the chapters continues to grow more confusing as it continues to be off by one (Web sites called the last one 48 on links but 47 on the chapter page), but we're just going to continue to call this chapter 48 instead of chapter 49 and hope for the best. Also, this chapter has been remarkably difficult to find for purchase. Why would YenPress hide it from me like this? D8
Anyway, none of that is the actual meta, so let's move on to that. As a general warning, the chapter itself dealt with some difficult subject matter, namely torture, so bear in mind that will be discussed in the meta.
We left off with Misha being left in Vanitas's care and this chapter begins with Vanitas taking that charge seriously, which was both surprising and completely predictable. As NoƩ once pointed out, Vanitas is made up of contradictions. We see that Vanitas is at least a little bit invested in Misha right away when he asks, "...You're sure it's okay if they cut it?"
He's referring to Misha's hair. Now, this is interesting for a few reasons. The first is that it demonstrates Vanitas wants to make sure Misha is as comfortable as he can be given the circumstances, but I also find it interesting because Vanitas himself has long hair. Only, he has kind of weird, chopped long hair.
Now, he has the same hairstyle in the flashbacks that he does in the present. At first I thought this was strange. How could he maintain such an elaborate hairstyle when he was imprisoned with Moreau? Did Mochizuki simply not want to come up with another hairstyle? But no, I don't think this is what happened. I think those scientists did try to cut Vanitas's hair when he was first brought to Moreau, he resisted, and the whole attempt resulted in his current 'do.
The fact that his hair is the same in the present means he's purposefully keeping it this way. Add this to the fact that he dresses like Vanitas of the Blue Moon, and I think Vanitas is manifesting all his traumas on his own person, possibly so he won't forget and so he won't give up on his revenge.
Moving on from that, it's unclear how long Vanitas had been with Moreau when Misha came along, but I think it's fair to say at least a few months? Maybe longer? Long enough that he knows how to behave around Moreau and can fill Misha in on how things are.
Vanitas explains to Misha he doesn't get to keep his old name, he's a number now. It's harsh, but it's another way of trying to prepare Misha for how awful things are going to be. An impossible task to be sure, but what else can he do?
We cut immediately to Misha being experimented on and tortured. He's in pain and also confused. He says, "Wasn't all the pain supposed to be over?" Roland's description of a happier place must seem like a massive lie right about now, but he had no way of knowing Misha would never get a chance at that fate.
The experiments themselves seem nonsensical. We see he's being injected with something in his arm, but we also see him strapped to a gurney with a metal object about his eyes. It looks like what they're doing is feeding the liquid from the vials through tubes into his eyes. I... don't see how this would be more effective than the previous syringes to be completely honest. My best guess is that since a vampire's power is centered in their eyes and Moreau is obsessed with vampires, he figured injecting this liquid directly into a human's eyes would have stronger results. Misha is also forced to drink something. Perhaps water, perhaps something else. Impossible to say.
The pain of it all reminds Misha of his mother beating him, which really just goes to show what a lousy mother she was. :/ He calls out for Vanitas to help him and we can see that Vanitas is bothered by what's happening. But what I did not expect was for Vanitas to turn around and offer to take Misha's place.
This is hands down the most selfless act we've ever seen from Vanitas. Willingly putting himself in danger? With the full knowledge he'll be tortured? That's incredible self-sacrifice. The only reason he did this is because he cares about Misha; he doesn't want to see someone suffer.
And yet, while I didn't expect this turn, it actually fits in perfectly from what we already know about Vanitas, even if he's gone to a lot of lengths to keep it obscured. Let's take a look at some previous panels:
This is one of our earliest examples. Vanitas was furious when NoƩ put himself in harm's way to protect him. He doesn't want others suffering because of him. But it's not just that.
That first scene is where Vanitas promises Jeanne he'll kill her if she ever loses control and hurts Luca. In other words, if she's no longer "Jeanne" he's taking responsibility for her failure to protect Luca. The next scene he promises to save ChloƩ, but what he actually says is that he'll accept all of Jeanne's ugly emotions for her.
In other words, Vanitas doesn't like it when other people suffer, especially if they're protecting him, but he readily takes on that very role himself. He goes out of his way to shield people even if he doesn't want them doing the same, and he readily accepts all the harsh, painful realities for someone so that they don't have to deal with it. In other words, what he's doing for Jeanne is similar to what he did for Misha, just on an emotional rather than physical level. But we also know he failed to keep some kind of promise to Misha and he remembered this when he promised to kill Jeanne. Perhaps he meant to keep Misha as "Misha," but he wasn't able to do so and he wasn't able to kill that which took his place.
All of this puts a slightly different spin on the Vanitas/Jeanne relationship. While there's definitely a selfish, immoral element there, this has also become Vanitas's attempt at doing something good, no matter how questionably he's going about it. Except, it was easier for him to do so when she didn't like him because not only does he not want people to risk themselves for him, he also doesn't want them to see him as worthy of doing so. Basically, as Roland said, he hates himself a lot more than we realized.
Now, what I want to know is whether Vanitas ever had siblings. Vanitas saw Misha suffering, but it was when he called out "Brother!" that he finally stepped in. Did it remind him of a sibling he actually had or was it just that he felt the weight of another person's life in the balance and he couldn't bear to do nothing?
This is the only cute scene of the chapter and we see that once again Vanitas doesn't push Misha away. He could have been angry with him for putting him in that predicament (not a rational feeling, but not one that would have been surprising given the circumstances), but instead he says nothing and let's him do as he wishes. This is also when No. 70 is brought up. I think the only thing we can safely say about No. 70 at this point is that he was a test subject involved in some other experiment (as Vanitas says) and that he is probably around Vanitas's age judging by what little we can make out of him.
Personally, I don't think this is a character we already know or, if it is, not well. Could be one of the chasseurs, but which one? This person was supposedly mute, but there haven't been any characters like that. So, a mystery for now. I am definitely curious, though. Vanitas and Misha were being turned into kin of the blue moon. Was No. 70 being turned into a proper vampire? That is Moreau's dream after all. But, for now, we simply don't have enough information to say anything at all.
And speaking of Moreau, he said he acquired the Books of Vanitas through "a certain channel." What does that mean? It sounds like it's probably a person, a contact, and one he's known for a while. Honestly, this one section raises so many questions. How would Vanitas lose her own books? It just seems absurd.
Anyway, Moreau goes on to explain the books are "analytical engines," which basically means they're machines, powered by a unique kind of astermite. Vanitas once told NoƩ he could manipulate the chasseurs' machines in the catacombs because they were also powered by astermite.
I think all of this is incredibly important. Just what is the world formula? Because whatever it is, it can be manipulated just the same way as astermite can, apparently. And who is connected to the world formula? Vampires. What can be tampered with by the books? Vampires' names. Where am I going with this? I'm not entirely sure. 8D But I've been thinking about this for a while. Astermite is some panacea stone that has removed pollution and done wonderful things. But that just sounds too good to be true. I really think there's something nefarious about astermite, and I think it's connected to vampires--and possibly the chasseurs--somehow.
I wrote a short fic once where astermite was made out of vampires' names. In other words, vampire souls. I'm still waiting to see what this stuff is actually made out of, but I just can't shake that theory, baseless though it is.
Still, only the blue moon's kin can open the Book of Vanitas and it uses a "different kind of astermite." Blue moon vampires are also different from red moon vampires. I wonder if the books have just a little bit of Vanitas of the Blue Moon's own essence. Hmmm...
Also, it turns out that Vanitas of the Blue Moon, and presumably all blue moon vampires, have blue blood. This means if you're a blue moon vampire, there really isn't a thing you can do to hide it, is there? 8D Your eyes are super blue, your blood is super blue. They probably smell differently, too. And it turns out Vanitas and Misha were injected with her blood to make them honorary kin.
Again, so many questions here. We're definitely dealing more with alchemy than straightforward science at this point, so I have to wonder: How changed are Vanitas and Misha's DNA? Do they even qualify as human? I mean, evidently their blood isn't blue, but NoƩ and Jeanne both agree that Vanitas smells good. How much of that is because of him as a person and how much is because of the blue moon blood running through his veins?
It seems most humans can't handle Vanitas of the Blue Moon's blood because they went mad instantly. But not these two.
Vanitas is understandably furious at what's been done to him. Having said that, this is also around the time period he hated vampires completely. I wonder how much of that anger is because he's been experimented on against his will and how much of it is because he was injected with a vampire's blood specifically.
Whichever it is, there's a certain level of irony that he's then saved by Vanitas herself. She comes in, blows up some stuff, and gets her books back.
Let's think about this for a moment. Somehow, Moreau not only had her books, he also had her blood. She does not look like a prisoner though, does she?
No, if anything, she definitely looks like the person in control of the room somehow, so I really have to wonder how they got these things from her. She evidently came to pick up her books, but that's not it.
I could be reading too much into it, but that, to me, doesn't sound like someone who's there to stop an evil experiment or save people. Or at least, that's not the only reason she's there. "That should be enough of a rampage to do the trick." What is she trying to accomplish? She already has the books!
Well, I suppose future chapters will give us an idea.
Misha convinces her to take them with her. Vanitas is shocked that the offer is extended to him as well. He was definitely prepared to simply stay, but then he thought of the chasseurs, the pain they inflicted on him, and I think he decided he'd rather take his chances with the vampire. He may hate vampires at this point, but humans haven't proven themselves to him either.
What I find interesting though is how similar this scene is to when NoƩ said "Not yet" in the catacombs.
They each offered him hope when he least expected it and showed him a path he never would have tried himself. It's also interesting that they also share some basic visual similarities. They both have darker skin and silver hair and they're vampires. Both of these scenarios happened in the catacombs as well. At a minimum, we can say they each led him to an important change in his life. Also, Vanitas of the Blue Moon had a definite "NoƩ" vibe in this one panel:
There's a certain awkwardness here that makes me think of him. The obvious difference being that NoƩ wouldn't let suffering children be an afterthought. Maybe this is more of a Teacher resemblance. Hard to say...
And so, Vanitas joined Vanitas of the Blue Moon! What a chapter. Dr. Moreau continues to be the worst, doesn't he? He's definitely lacking depth compared to the other villains wandering about. XD Very curious when Vanitas gets to kill him. And also whether Moreau's research will be successful. I think the series is going to get a lot darker if it is.
One thing I noticed is that Misha never lost his arm during these experiments, so that definitely happened later. My personal guess is that he's using the book a lot more than Vanitas and is being rewritten at a faster rate. If so, being rewritten could mean... disappearing from reality? Guess we'll find out. Ahh, I really want the next chapter... I'm looking forward to it!

Dragon Ball Apocrypha
I liveblogged Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z in 2019.Ā Near the end, a few people asked if I was going to do GT or Super and I said no, mainly because I wanted to finish in one year, but also because I donāt consider those series to be part of the true DBZ canon.Ā Also, I tend to think of the other stuff to be small and insignificant.
Except, thereās a lot more of it now than there used to be.Ā Ā It occurred to me one day that if I did cover all the other stuff, it would probably take me as long as it did to cover DB & DBZ.Ā Ā Ā But I never sat down and added it all up, so tonight I think Iāll just do that now.
Let me be clear: Iām not planning to liveblog any of this stuff.Ā Ā I may do it sometime in the future, but I donāt want anyone taking this post as some sort of promise.Ā Iām just making a list.
First, the stuff I actually covered in ā19.
Dragon Ball Episode 1-153 + Four movies (Blood Rubies, Sleeping Princess, Mystical Adventure, Path to Power)
Dragon Ball Z Episodes 1-291 + 2 TV specials (Bardock and History of Trunks) + 15 movies (Dead Zone to Ressurrection F)
And the rest. Ā Stuff I have never seen before is in bold.
I. Major Spin Off Series
Dragon Ball GT Episodes 1-64 + 1 TV Special (A Heroās Legacy) (1996-1997)
Dragon Ball Super Episodes 1-131 + 2 movies (Broly & Super Hero) (2015-2018)
Dragon Ball Super Heroes Episodes 1-38+ (2018-present)
Iāve seen Episodes 1-20
21-32 is the Universe Creation Saga.
33-onward is the āNew Space-Time Warā Saga.
Dragon Ball Super manga (2015-present)
Chapters 1-44 are retellings of the stories from the anime
Chapters 45-67 is the Moro Saga
Chapters 68-72+ is the Granolah Saga
II. OAVās and specials.
Gokuās Traffic Safety (1988)
Gokuās Fire Brigade (1988)
DBZ Gaiden: Plan to Eradicate [Super] Saiyans (1993/2010)
Dragon Ball: Yo! The Return of Son Goku and Friends!! (2008)
Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock (2011)
Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Super Collaboration Special!! (2013)
III. The Shitty Live Action Trilogy
Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins (the Chinese bootleg movie 1989)
Dragon Ball: Fight Son Goku, Win Son Goku (the Korean bootleg movie, 1990)
Dragon Ball: Evolution (the United Statesian movie, 2009)
And thatās all I know of right now.
Looking it over, Iād say enough time has passed that I could see me re-watching GT and Super and actually having something new to say about them someday.Ā Ā I gotta say, though, there is not much here for me to look forward to, aside from checking boxes off a bucket list.Ā Ā Itād be fun to see the smoking Korean Puar puppet, rewatching the Tournament of Power, uh, that scene where Goku holds Bee in his arms and gets his face licked.Ā Ā Wow, Iām really reaching here... uh, Cell started showing up in Super DBH, so thatās probably neat?
But my original thought still stands.Ā You add all this up, and you have 305 episode/chapter thingies, and 12 movie/special thingies.Ā Not quite as big as Dragon Ball/DBZ but big enough to qualify as a franchise in itself.
Hypothetically speaking, if I actually went through all of this in a one-year span, I feel like a lot of it would just be me bitching and moaning about all the mistakes and missed opportunities in the material.Ā Ā Ā Thereās some good stuff throughout, but itās so diluted by the bad-to-meh stuff that Iām not sure it would be much fun to write or read.Ā Ā The nice thing about 2019 was that anytime I complained about a bad episode I knew I had 20 or 30 awesome ones waiting for me later on.Ā Thereās plenty of people on the internet complaining about Dragon Ball without me.Ā Ā Iād need to find a way to keep it fresh.

So a new batch of Baccano! imports arrived today. For those who donāt know, earlier this month I received a parcel with some Baccano! trading cards and the first Baccano! audio drama ā (I have a merchandise tag now; also check the audio drama tag) ā and while I realize itās a little gauche to share new merch when I still havenāt drummed up a more thorough post about the audio drama...
...I couldnāt resist. This time around we have:
1)Ā The é»ęęåŗ«ē·åē®é²2006SPECIAL EDITION, a magazine whose title Google Translate has translated asĀ āDengeki Bunko Paper Library Comprehensive Catalog 2006 Special Edition.ā I became interested in this one because certain online Japanese lists of Baccano! characters say that aĀ ć»ćŖćć¢ć»ćµć³ćøć§ć«ćć³ (Theodore St. Germain) is mentioned in a story from this magazine as a 21st century information broker. Iād also heard there was a Durarara!! story...
I can confirm that thereās a two page Baccano! story in the magazine, and I have spotted the katakana for Theodoreās name at the bottom of the second one. (I also recognized the katakana forĀ āamigo,ā ha; I also see the years 1930/1/2). Sadly, the one page Durarara!! story isnāt anything new; Kaede took one look at it and said itās the Two Getting Along story, which was published later in a gaiden novel.
The middle section of the magazine seems to include lists of publications by various DB authors - possibly even all that theyāve published with DB to (contemporary) date, since Naritaās section has Baccano! vols 1-7, EB vols 1-4, Durarara!! vols 1-3, Vamp! vols 1-3, and Hariyama-san Vol 1. Baccano! also has some sort of... I guess itās probably aĀ āintro to workā or promo page. thereās a small ad for the first audio drama at the bottom.
Naritaās stories arenāt the only tiny stories in here...maybe I should contact the relevant subreddits to see if theyāre interested in them.
2)Ā The BACCANO! Premium DJCD, a not for sale 54 minute CD you could obtain if you bought DVD vols 1-4 from the same store. The first 32 minutes (tracks 1-4) feature Isaac, Miria, Firo, and Ennisā VAs, and the last track Dengeki Bunko editor Atsushi Wada, scriptwriter Noboru Takagi, Aniplex producer Shuko Yokoyama, DS game overseer Tomoyuki Miyashita...and Narita himself!Ā
Itās a pretty rare opportunity to hear Narita speak (not that I can...comprehend whatās being said, for the most part); Iāve skipped to the end, and..ah, there we go. āDomo, Narita desu.ā (Thank you/Hello, itās Narita.ā) He speaks! Gosh... this is a bit surreal, you know? He always likes toĀ āhideā for hisĀ āAbout the authorā photos, while so much of his personality is laid bare in his afterwords. To hearĀ him...well, whoād have thought. (To be fair, he has made public appearances before.)
Isaacās VA (Onosaka) is incredibly loud/enthusiastic, my word. Hm.. I recognizeĀ that Track 1 is calledĀ āopeningā, but Iāll have to rely on the help of others to have all five track titles translated. Iāve been wanting to have a wiki article on this CD for a while, so itāll definitely help to know the track names.
3)Ā The two volume 2006 manga, in all its...ah, infamous glory. Probably the least exciting import, since some fans like @toushindai own it already (plus Iāve read the first three fan-translated chapters and the final chapter) ā but! Itās still useful and neat to have anyway. This is my first time seeing the entirety of both volumes, as opposed to selected raws and translations.
(For instance, I wasnāt aware that Turner was actually illustrated in this manga, so up until now his wiki page said his only known illustration was in the NDS game. Thatās been fixed. On an unrelated note, Turner in the 2006 manga is one of the ugliest depictions of a character I have ever seen. His ugly heart deserves it, I guess, but damn.)
