…. I used up all my energy on the character drawings and didn’t save any for actually drawing them as slimes, so I went the lazy route

Can you spot Ralph? This is a rhetorical question. Obviously, he’s too good at blending in to possibly be differentiated from the other slimes.

Scene from Detroit: Become Human, from the time when Markus took care of the painter Carl Manfred and was gently waking him up by opening the bedroom curtains.

I painted all of markus's works. I also made a custom box based on the Bellini paint from the game.

The original paintings in the game was done digitally; I recreated them traditionally. All were painted with Bocour Bellini oil paints. Only exception that I used Vasari PB33 Barium Manganate for the cyan, and PR 187 Carl’s Crimson for the darker reds.

Bocour worked with his nephew Golden to produce handmade paint. Golden eventually released the well-known Golden line. Golden eventually merged with Williamsburg and produces the handmade oils and so I think using Carl's Crimson here is acceptable. Unfortunately Bocour died and so did his line of Bellini paints.

Looking forward to doing some of Carl’s paintings.

I wanted to make prompts with my favorite characters from various fandoms, not only ships but also different types of relationships like in here: Father and son, Carl Manfred and Markus from Detroit: Become Human :3

All my entries will be done in my sketchbook since I feel like I would chase perfection too much on digital and set myself up to failure too quickly.

So, the very first ship I shipped in this fandom is Carlski. Yes. I was appalled to find there were so few Carlski fics, so I decided to read every /Carl fic on Ao3. There weren't a lot, and it appeared that I'm pretty much the only author who's given the old man a sex life.

Because I was on such a mission to find all the /Carl fics, I was flabbergasted when I found a Connor/Carl fic in which Connor was an android kid. After reading the Yandere!Carl/reader fic, I was ready for more madness BUT I was sorely disappointed to realize that the Carlnor fic was mislabeled Connor & Carl. The irk stayed with me so I deadass wrote the kind of fic I expected I would get to read:

Word count: 3,834 Summary: As Elijah steps down from CyberLife, he needs to hide certain things and entrusts Carl with Connor, a child android. Or is this all some convoluted setup to expose the bad tendencies Carl tried to hide and repress for years?

The painter narrowed his eyes. “Maybe you don’t know me that well…” he observed and glanced at the android. “If I were any good around kids, I would have raised my own, don’t you think?” “I know.” Elijah set a hand on Connor’s shoulder and put a knee down to finally be at eye level with both Carl and the android. “He’s not a human being though, and I think you’ll find that he’s very well behaved. He hasn’t interrupted our discussion or strayed away without being allowed to, has he? All you need to do is to tell him how you want him to behave and he will adapt. And really, you could use an extra pair of hands to help you around the house, am I right? Even Markus can’t keep up with—” “Are you here to insult me or ask me for a favor?” Carl cut short, glaring at him. “Will you please take care of Connor?” Elijah asked again, more pleadingly. “It doesn’t matter what you make him do or not so long as he doesn’t leave this place.” Carl groaned, wondering if Elijah knew how hard he was making this to be. But Carl always had a weak spot for the young man. “Alright. I’ll keep him for you,” he agreed, and Elijah exhaled in relief.
