Perkins Chases Carl and Elijah

I wanted to do something with all 3 of them and I wheezed so hard!

So, the very first ship I shipped in this fandom is Carlski. Yes. I was appalled to find there were so few Carlski fics, so I decided to read every /Carl fic on Ao3. There weren't a lot, and it appeared that I'm pretty much the only author who's given the old man a sex life.

Because I was on such a mission to find all the /Carl fics, I was flabbergasted when I found a Connor/Carl fic in which Connor was an android kid. After reading the Yandere!Carl/reader fic, I was ready for more madness BUT I was sorely disappointed to realize that the Carlnor fic was mislabeled Connor & Carl. The irk stayed with me so I deadass wrote the kind of fic I expected I would get to read:

Good Little Boy Connor

Word count: 3,834 Summary: As Elijah steps down from CyberLife, he needs to hide certain things and entrusts Carl with Connor, a child android. Or is this all some convoluted setup to expose the bad tendencies Carl tried to hide and repress for years?

The painter narrowed his eyes. “Maybe you don’t know me that well…” he observed and glanced at the android. “If I were any good around kids, I would have raised my own, don’t you think?” “I know.” Elijah set a hand on Connor’s shoulder and put a knee down to finally be at eye level with both Carl and the android. “He’s not a human being though, and I think you’ll find that he’s very well behaved. He hasn’t interrupted our discussion or strayed away without being allowed to, has he? All you need to do is to tell him how you want him to behave and he will adapt. And really, you could use an extra pair of hands to help you around the house, am I right? Even Markus can’t keep up with—” “Are you here to insult me or ask me for a favor?” Carl cut short, glaring at him. “Will you please take care of Connor?” Elijah asked again, more pleadingly. “It doesn’t matter what you make him do or not so long as he doesn’t leave this place.” Carl groaned, wondering if Elijah knew how hard he was making this to be. But Carl always had a weak spot for the young man. “Alright. I’ll keep him for you,” he agreed, and Elijah exhaled in relief.

Platonic Carlski by Uneko Hey Mak

Amanda is in RK800’s(Connor) system so it is safe to assume the RK-series was already in development before Elijah Kamski left CyberLife 10 years ago. He personally gifted RK200(Markus) to Carl which means Markus had served him for over a decade and the accident that disabled him happened before that. You can see a smaller/draft version of the painting at Elijah’s place in Carl’s mansion. Carl probably gave him a painting as a thank you gift for helping him during his depression. 

I like to think Elijah and Carl’s friendship started during Carl’s golden age. By that time the newly-found CyberLife would did some side-projects to support their Android research. Elijah introduced himself at an exhibition where his company provided technical support. Carl thought he was just another fan who wanted his money or a good fuck but Elijah (he ace, wink wink) simply admired his art and philosophy. Elijah was intelligent enough to grasp Carl’s attention and they bonded pretty well. This somehow worsened Carl’s relationship with Leo because his son failed at school at the age when Elijah had finished his education and started his own business. Yep Carl was a terrible parent before Markus. When Elijah visited Carl to watch him paint, he would brush Markus off and Markus would read and play the piano and play chess with himself and his system still blocked him from entering the studio stating “leave daddies alone” :3

Now although the RK-series is a special unit, I believe Elijah sent Markus to Carl with no ill will. If he meant to let Carl nurture a deviant, this experiment would have lasted 10+ years and yielded no fruition before the story events. I won’t say he did not expect anything from Carl but Elijah’s main intention was to have his most advanced invention taking good care of the man he loved. On the other hand, Sis thinks Elijah was up to no good and knew Carl, being so sentimental and empathetic, would help Markus develop an independent personality so it was indeed his little deviant experiment.

Also Sis h/c Markus has a Zen garden in his system too but he was unaware of its existence until he became a deviant. He then created a Carl in the garden to seek comfort and guidance. Since it is a mere projection of Markus’s impression of him, the Zen garden Carl could only repeat what he said to him before.

Elijah nodded. “Did you enjoy it? The sex, I mean. With the woman.” Carl laughed. “Seriously? That’s what you’re asking about?” He shook his head and went silent, concentrating on finding a parking spot. “I was shitfaced so I can’t say I remember how it felt. We were both doing drugs. That’s why I said an abortion would probably be better for the kid. But in the end, it was her body, her decision.” He stopped talking again to park the car, then cranked the manual brake, turned off the engine and looked at Elijah. “I can’t say I’ve ever really enjoyed sex with women. Guess I like them better as friends. Kisses okay, bit of fondling okay. But guess I’m mostly gay in the end.” Elijah smiled and closed the distance to kiss him. “I really like that about you,” he purred. “Little shit,” Carl playfully bit his lip. “You and your fifty bazillion kids you’ll never know…” Elijah rolled his eyes. “Carl, there’s a limit to the amount of times a donor’s sperm can be used. Or were you talking about my androids? Hm? I don’t see them as my kids, not really. They’re Chloe’s children sooner than mine. I mean, I don’t know. Semantics could be argued, but in the end, I don’t feel like a father.” “There you go, cogs spinning,” Carl pecked his lips and exited the car. Elijah imitated him. He kept thinking still. Something nagged him. “I feel really good with you,” he said as they walked next to one another. “It might sound kind of fucked-up, but, I guess, if I ever had to make a child, I’d want to make a child with you.” “Elijah, that’s very touching, but I have to break it to you—biology doesn’t really agree with that,” Carl joked. Elijah laughed. “I know. I mean, what about androids, though?”

Carl produced a plastic pouch out of his pocket and set it on the table between them—it contained small sachets of white powder and pills. “Choose your poison, boy.” Elijah’s eyebrows shot up above his sunglasses. He didn’t need to say anything. “What, you’ve never…?” Carl scoffed. He laughed. “You can’t be rich and not do drugs, kid. It’s part of the lifestyle. Go on, try something.” Elijah hesitated, fascinated. “I value my brain and my lucidity, Mister Manfred,” he drawled. “Are you looking to corrupt my candid innocence to take advantage of me?” “If you’re gonna sound like a stuffy-nosed kid, you better stuff it with powder,” Carl retorted. “Innocence is overrated. Take a walk on the wild side.” Elijah felt himself blush and get warmer. Carl had a way of talking—self-assured, shameless, and his voice vibrated at a frequency that tickled the nerves down Elijah’s lower belly. “What if I become an addict? What if it fucks up my entire life?” Elijah questioned. “Would you live with it?” “Assuredly. If you’re stupid enough to turn out that way, you weren’t worth shit to begin with,” Carl unapologetically answered. “Gotta weed out the trash. So, think you’re smart, Kamski?” “Damn,” Elijah gulped, feeling hotter yet. “You’re a hateful man, aren’t you?” “The world made me that way.” Carl shrugged, grinning.

Make It Yours (a Leoski fic Ao3 with hate sex Carlski)

The Kamski family had made their wealth in the shadows of pharmacopeia. Their bank accounts weren’t clean, but they were full. Elijah hadn’t needed to study chemistry; he’d grown like a little weed in that field of science. Medicine hadn’t interested him however—the things he’d witnessed in Africa hadn’t sat well with him when he’d come to understand what kind of experiments were being run on desperate people. It had led to deep conversations about morals and ethics with Carl, and it turned out that Carl’s positions were… complicated. He didn’t condone but didn’t act either. Instead, he did drugs Elijah realized. He didn’t mind. In fact, he asked Carl to let him try. It didn’t take a lot to convince him—the weakness was two-way. Carl was always soft on Elijah. They were both living in the same hotel in Detroit at that time, a posh place with some pseudo-rococo theme to it. The light was dim but warm. They sat on a sofa, with the tv playing programs they weren’t watching. Carl popped a pill in his mouth and offered another to Elijah. The young man opened his mouth and presented his tongue, looking into the painter’s eyes and locking him in his gaze. Carl placed the pill on his tongue and Elijah shivered as he swallowed. It didn’t take long for the effects to kick in, powdering euphoria over reality.
