The number of scarily accurate textpost memes you can make with these mfs is insane

can we just please talk about how during the confession scene, when charles first responds to edwin saying "i love you", he replies with an immediate "i love you too. can we go now?" like. the implication that they have said "i love you" to each other before and how they can respond to it without batting an eye is making me go insane

So I was playing Dead by Daylight with a few friends the other night, and the killer felt so bad for me (I’m very new at the game) that they killed everyone else, downed me, found the single survivor hatch, and dropped me on it.
I’m baby I guess lmao.

you know who is THE character ever? Niko Sasaki.
she's 16. she rents a single room above a butcher shop in Townwhoknowswhere, half a globe away from home. she hasn't spoken to her mum back in Tokio in years. she has no friends. everyone in the gang would wrestle demons in knee-deep mud for her. nobody truly gets her. she's an outstanding listener. she stands up for her boundaries, mantaining an inquisitive spirit. she keeps the parasites who wanted to explode through every orifice in her body in a little mason jar; they are nothing but explicitly mean to her. she tries to reason with them everytime. she shows the ghost boy from the 1900s Scooby Doo and bonds with him over mutual Kindness and Autism. being in her proximity makes people inherently better and more understanding. she arrives at the scene of the crime 45 minutes late banging pots and pans. she's a fashion colour-coding icon. she loves love. she's never kissed anyone. she's the wingwoman. the date she sets up for Jenny and Maxine ends in the serial killer woman getting her head split in half. she outtricks the Night Nurse with the power of excellent media comprehension trained on yaoi mangas, and saves the day. she acquired a small bear charm before she died and now she will live forever. nobody, nobody does it like her

Idk if anyone cares but if you’re still on the fence about watching dead boy detectives, especially after the cancellation, I would still seriously recommend watching it. There was obviously some hope of a second season that they left a couple storylines open but overall the major plot points of the season were all actually resolved so there’s no fear of a drastic cliff hanger. I personally have never had a piece of media resonate with me so deeply, specifically the queer aspects but also the interpretation of devotional friendships and love is some of the best I’ve ever seen. And it wasn’t afraid to tackle intense topics like domestic violence, self loathing and hate crimes in ways that were actually taken seriously. The costuming alone is some of the most lovingly handcrafted art I’ve witnessed in recent media not to mention the setting design and worldbuilding. But above all else, this is one of the most amazing fandoms I’ve ever been apart of. I’ve never been apart of a fandom where people are so willing to spread joy and knowledge not just for the piece of work we’re bonding over but for their art and skills and life experiences. Like I obviously can’t force anyone to watch the show but I can assure you, you won’t regret it.
