Depression sucks..it really does. And it takes it's ugly toll on so many aspects of one's life. Depression makes you just not even want to try any more. For me depression made it easier for me to fall into a slump of wearing nothing but loungewear. And normally for normal people that isn't so much of a problem but for someone like me, I feel like why bother getting dressed in my normal "over dressed" way. Why bother? The swelling, the I am not comfortable in my own skin, and feel like a blob and I do not matter had a much louder voice than the usual me. Struggling with depression is hard. It is a hard fight. And dressing in my normal clothes can instantly boost my mood. It makes me feel like I can be productive and happy. So today I say to me, I matter . And you should say that to you too. You matter. . . And this @missguided skirt made me feel so happy. Ever go some where and it takes all you have got to work up the strength to go. And then you go, and then you, on the way home, pick yourself apart thinking you said something stupid or were stupid. You trash yourself so bad that the good time you thought you had is now ruined. Anxiety does that. And it doesn't matter if it is family events, bloggers events, or whatever.
