Day 326 Art Meditation

This is what I’m talking about!! when EVERYTHING aligns - art as your life, art IN your life, art as an expression of your life.

I was doing an Anne-date - a date with All-lines-are-beautiful - and took a hike around San Francisco - here’s the story:

I’m VERY intentional about inserting inspiration for my creative journey. In fact it was the main reason I moved back to the Bay area 10 years ago, to know that I would be immersing myself in an environment of inspiration, innovation and creative support. I didn’t know then that would be in the category of innovation with my Heart-Art bundles, but now that part makes sense.

On my hike, I walked by a house that has Bubbles painted on it, and turned around to see a van that matches the house next to it. I looked down on the sidewalk and the entire two sidewalks of the house had Mandela artwork - not matching art but permanent and intentional. AND a bench for sitting, I presume to take in all the art.

It’s the kind of Intangible event that my Heart-Art Bundles are about. You walk into the art and something incredible happens. Something incredible happens because you are drawn to it and because you know that growth is only in the place of discomfort.

When I take my walks, my head is still usually in the place of practical solutions. But then I walk into art like this - the same art on a house and a car - and something inside me shifts OPEN. My Heart became wide open with light and air at that moment, and I am so grateful to the homeowner who decided they needed to have a matching car and house. This is how our Hearts connect - through art.

The fact that nationally art is so undervalued speaks volumes to me about how separated humans are from one another.

NEW beautiful things happen through art.

I will keep making my art bundles, and I look forward to meeting that next person who knows this heart-art-bundle journey is right for them.

Posting more Ocean Abalone art, which shows the beautiful, mysterious transformation journey. Life is always emerging and so, my artwork does too. The BELIEF in the process is motion, so I always want my art to show motion.

I also love that my artwork reminds me of stained glass windows, because I want to connect to the sense of what is Sacred - which is all of our Heart-Spaces.

It’s Day 326 of the Great Hill Humidity and Dew Point Differential Scarf 2023. The humidity was 61 percent, the dew point was 36 degrees, and the differential between the humidity and the dew point was 25 today. I am using the Frosty Green color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn. I am working my stitches in the “stockinette” stitch pattern to indicate the differential between the humidity and the dew point was 25 at 11am. It was a sunny day in Wessagusset today, but it was very chilly. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope your day was wonderful. Be safe out there.

WDW - Starport Seven-Five - Space Mountain Queue by Todd Hurley Photography Via Flickr: Walt Disney World The Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland Space Mountain I had to wait until closing time to get this shot... one that has been on my shot list for a couple of years now. I entered the queue about 2 minutes before closing and just hung out down at the tunnel entrance letting everyone else pass by. As soon as I heard the CM moving chains and dragging trash cans to block the main entrance above, I set up the tripod and fired away. Got some funny looks from the CM when he eventually came down, but I think it was worth it. I ended up getting the last ride on Space Mountain that night as well. Pretty cool. Thanks for looking!

It’s Day 326 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the ENE at 14mph with gusts to 22mph at 10am. The temperature was 48°, and felt like was 45°. I used the Pretty ‘n Pink color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the wind was out of the ENE. I knit in stockinette stitch to show the wind was blowing at 14mph. It was a very grey, rainy day in Wessagusset. The rain was wind driven all day, and you can see the fog in my photos that cut visibility down to a very small distance. It was very strange having rain today after having none for over two months. It is very unusual to be so dry in New England for such a long time. We usually have some wet weather every week. We desperately need the rain to help address the extreme drought we have had. Although this was not enough rain to mitigate the drought, every little bit helps. It should continue into tomorrow. Be safe out there.
