If you are from this Ummah, then these ten nights are your opportunity. This is not just about personal worship it is about preparing yourself to serve Allah’s cause. If you are a man, ask Allah to make you a pillar of strength for His deen. Pray for guidance, wisdom, and the ability to act when the Ummah needs you. Strengthen your body, discipline your soul, and purify your heart.
If you are a woman, make these nights your foundation. Ask Allah to make you a source of strength for this Ummah, to grant you the honor of raising men like the Sahaba, women like the great believers of the past. This Ummah needs mothers who instill courage, faith, and knowledge in their children. Pray that your womb carries those who will defend Islam, and that your heart carries the resolve to raise them upon the truth.
The Ummah is humiliated, and the world is burning in darkness. You already know what kind of du’as we need to make. Pray for victory, for justice, for the return of honor to this Ummah. Pray for strength to bear the trials ahead. These ten nights are not for empty worship but for transformation. Make use of them before they slip away.

AFP Decisively Targets Terrorists
Tumblr media
A Week of Tactical Triumphs
In a relentless pursuit of peace and security, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has successfully neutralized a significant threat to national stability, as reported by the Philippine News Agency. Throughout the week, from February 18 to 24, the AFP has reported the successful neutralization of 13 insurgents, including members of the communist New People's Army (NPA) and the terrorist Dawlah-Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG), across the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
Courage Under Fire
General Romeo Brawner Jr., AFP Chief, commended the valor of the troops involved in these operations. "You are our nation's heroes," he stated, further emphasizing the dedication and bravery of the forces in safeguarding peace. Additionally, this operational success brings the Philippines closer to achieving its long-sought goal of enduring peace, thereby showcasing the military's unwavering commitment to protecting its citizens from insurgency and terrorism.   Strategic Operations Yield Results The operations were widespread and meticulously planned. In Albay, Barangay Salvacion witnessed the capture of weapons from NPA rebels by the 49th Infantry Battalion. Similarly, collaborative efforts in Bohol, Agusan Del Norte, Cagayan, and Negros Occidental led to the dismantling of significant insurgent and terrorist elements, further destabilizing their networks and reducing their capacity to disrupt national peace. Notably, an operation targeting the DI-MG resulted in the neutralization of members responsible for the Mindanao State University bombing, underscoring the AFP's resolve to address terrorism. The military's efforts have led to the dismantling of the leadership structures of these groups, significantly weakening their operational capabilities.   National Defense and Commendation The Department of National Defense, led by Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., echoed the military's sentiments, particularly praising the operations against the DI-MG. The Secretary highlighted the importance of these operations in maintaining national security and expressed the nation's gratitude towards the troops for their sacrifices.
The Dawlah-Islamiyah-Maute Group
The Dawlah-Islamiyah-Maute Group, an armed Islamist faction operating in Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur, has been a significant security concern for the Philippines. Emerging in 2014, the DI-MG pledged allegiance to ISIS, adopting violent means in their quest to establish an Islamic caliphate. Despite being weakened by military operations, the group continues to pose a threat through sporadic attacks and recruitment activities.   Sources: THX News, Wikipedia, The George Washington University, Australian National Security & Philippine News Agency. "A field commander in Gaza said today that the Israeli occupation forces partially withdrew from the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic after fierce confrontations with the Palestinian resistance south of Gaza City. He told Al Mayadeen that in the past two days, the resistance struck IOF troops positioned in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic using mortar shells and anti-armor missiles. The commander also said that the Israeli occupation tanks have been redeployed near the Dawlah Intersection on Salah al-Din Road, south of the neighborhood adding that on more than one axis in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, artillery and aerial bombings are ongoing. He stressed the area surrounding Al-Madaris Street in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip is widely destroyed.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Resistance was engaged in fierce battles with the Israeli occupation forces in the central and southern parts of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeast Gaza, a field leader confirmed to Al Mayadeen. The source emphasized that the battles were taking place in al-Mustawsaf Street in the center of the neighborhood and the vicinity of Ali Mosque and the UNRWA Clinic to its south.
Resistance fighters engaged several Israeli tanks with anti-tank rockets in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun Clinic, the source told Al Mayadeen, adding that the Israeli occupation army has turned the Clinic into a command and control center and is destroying homes nearby. According to the field leader, Israeli occupation forces have expanded the scope of their artillery shelling to reach the north of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, especially around the al-Hurriyya School and the Salah al-Din Mosque.
A new wave of displacement from most parts of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood has been observed, caused by the Israeli bombardment of several houses and the martyrdom of 12 Palestinians as a result, the field leader confirmed. In a related context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that at least eight Palestinians were killed in Israeli artillery and aerial bombardment in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood."

The ʾImām and Reviver, ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn ʾAbū Bakr, ʾIbrāhīm Ibn ʿAwwād, تقبله الله, said:
❝O Muslims, do not be surprised by the gathering of the nations of disbelief, their states, and their sects against ad-Dawlah al-ʾIslāmiyyah. This has always been the state of aṭ-Ṭāʾifah al-Manṣūrah [the saved sect] in every era. This gathering will continue, the trials and tribulations will intensify, until the two camps are fully formed—so that no hypocrite remains in this one, and no believer remains in that one. Be certain that Allāh will grant victory to His believing servants. Rejoice and be at ease, for your Dawlah remains strong, and every time the nations increase their aggression against it, its certainty in Allāh’s victory grows firmer, and its conviction that it is upon the straight path strengthens. And with every hardship it faces, it casts out the pretenders and the hypocrites, purifying its ranks, increasing in resilience and steadfastness.
O Muslims, the battle today is no longer merely a Crusader campaign—it is a war of all the nations of disbelief against the nation of ʾIslām. Never before in our history has the entire world gathered against us in a single battle as it does today. It is the war of all disbelievers against all Muslims. Every Muslim is directly involved in this war; every Muslim is commanded by Allah to fulfill the obligation of jihād fī sabīlillāh. Whoever obeys, for him is success, salvation, nearness to Allāh, and His pleasure. But whoever disobeys, for him is ruin, destruction, loss, and the wrath of Allāh. Every Muslim is responsible in this war—to defend the religion of Allāh, His law, and to support the weak among men, women, and children. This war is the war of every Muslim, and he must fight it to defend his faith, his life, his wealth, his honor, and his dignity.
So rise, O Muslims, in every place. Rise while being certain of Allāh’s victory. Rise and do not weaken, do not grieve. Your Lord—ʿAzza wa Jall—has already told you about the disbelievers:
- You [believers] are more terrifying in their hearts than Allāh—that is because they are a people who do not understand. They do not fight you all together, except within fortified settlements or from behind walls. Their enmity among themselves is severe. You think they are united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who do not reason. -
And Allāh has spoken the truth. Here are the Christian Crusaders, the nations of disbelief, and their sects, with the Jews behind them, afraid to come and fight a small group of mujāhidīn on the ground. Each one pushes the other forward, hoping to entangle him in the war. They dare not come, for their hearts are filled with terror at the mujāhidīn, because, by Allāh’s grace, they were disciplined in ʾAfghānistān and ʿIrāq, and they have learned that they have no power against the mujāhidīn.❞

A Colorado teenager has been charged with providing material support to ISIS, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Acting on a tip from a social media company, the FBI encountered Humzah Mashkoor when he was 16 years old, and just under a year later, they arrested him for allegedly attempting to board a flight in Denver to join ISIS, the Justice Department said in its criminal complaint.
Undercover FBI agents soon began communicating with Mashkoor, who used the social media name “Humzah Afghan,” the complaint said.
“Mashkoor frequently expressed support for ISIS,” the complaint reads. In one instance, he shared videos online of people getting executed, the department claimed in the court filing.
He allegedly told the undercover officer he was born in the United States, went to Afghanistan and then came back to the U.S. after his family had to leave.
“He indicated a desire to return to Afghanistan, where he has family in Nangarhar and other areas under Taliban control. Mashkoor stated that he previously supported the Taliban but started ‘looking more into’ ‘the dawlah’ after they ‘b0mbed the airport and took those Taliban and us soldiers and sent them to jahanam,’” the complaint says.
Authorities said they took his statements to mean he supported ISIS after the bombing of Kabul Airport in 2021.
“Are you ready?” he allegedly wrote to an undercover FBI agent regarding his planned return to Afghanistan. “Once we go there’s no turning back… We leave behind everything… Our family’s… Our homes… Our friends… For the sake of Allah. … Life won’t be easy, we will be strangers moving from place to place… Hated by the whole worlds.”
In the fall of 2022, Mashkoor also allegedly told undercover officers he would do anything ISIS told him to do.
“I am prepared to do anything which they require me to do . . . I just want to be used as soon as possible, gun attcks … I have no training, I used to have some practice with guns with I was younger. But that is it,” Mashkoor allegedly said.
Also, according to the complaint, in October 2022, he allegedly took the oath to join ISIS.
The Justice Department alleges that throughout 2023, and leading up to his 18th birthday, Mashkoor made statements about traveling to join ISIS. He allegedly discussed marrying someone who shared the same beliefs.
He planned to donate “all of his money” to ISIS in cryptocurrency before he turned 18.
He was scheduled to travel on Dec. 11, but instead, he postponed his travel to Dec. 18, which is when he was arrested.
ABC News could not immediately locate a legal representative for Mashkoor, and no lawyer was listed in the court record.

MANILA, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for a deadly bombing at a Catholic Mass in the Philippines on Sunday that killed at least four people and injured 50 others.
The attack was carried out in a university gymnasium in Marawi, a city in the south of the country besieged by Islamist militants for five months in 2017.
The Islamic State group, which wields influence in the country's south, said on Telegram its members had detonated the bomb.
Earlier on Sunday, before Islamic State's claim, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr condemned "the senseless and most heinous acts perpetrated by foreign terrorists". Police and the military strengthened security in the country's south and around the capital Manila.
In Rome, Pope Francis offered prayers for the victims during his Sunday address, and, in a separate written message, appealed to "Christ the prince of peace (to) grant to all the strength to turn from violence and overcome every evil with good".
Law enforcement operations to bring to justice the perpetrators of the "terrorist activity" will "continue unabated", Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro told a press conference.
There were "strong indications of a foreign element" in the bombing, Teodoro said, refusing to elaborate so as not to compromise ongoing investigation.
Fragments of a 16-mm mortar were recovered at the scene, senior police official Emmanuel Peralta told the press conference.
HIGH ALERT
The blast in Marawi, capital of Lanao del Sur province, followed a series of military operations against local pro-Islamic State groups in the southern Philippines, the military chief said.
One on Sunday in Lanao del Sur led to the killing of a leader of the Dawlah Islamiya-Maute group.
"It is possible that what happened this morning was a retaliatory attack," Armed Forces Chief Romeo Brawner told the press conference.
The Islamic State-linked Maute seized Marawi on May 2017, seeking to make it a Southeast Asian "wilayat" – or governorate - for Islamic State.
In the ensuing five-month battle, Islamist fighters and Philippine forces killed more than a thousand people, including civilians.
Images shared by the Lanao del Sur government on Facebook showed military officials surveying the gym at the Mindanao State University where the blast occurred, which appeared intact except for burn marks in the centre.
Videos posted by DZBB radio on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, showed rescuers carrying injured people out of the gym on plastic chairs.
Police offices in Mindanao and the capital region were placed on high alert and police checkpoints tightened "to prevent possible follow-up incidents", police official Peralta said.
The coast guard directed its districts to intensify pre-departure inspections at ports.
Mindanao State University said in a Facebook post it was "deeply saddened and appalled by the act of violence that occurred during a religious gathering". "We unequivocally condemn in the strongest possible terms this senseless and horrific act."
The university said it was suspending classes until further notice.

THE DEFINITION OF STATEHOOD IN ISLAM
WHE I SAY SO-CALLED ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, I REALLY MEAN IT,
BECAUSE BY DEFINITION IT IS NEITHER ISLAMIC  NOR REPUBLIC ACCORDING TO THE ISLAMIC LAW (SHARI’AH).
THEREFORE IT IS A MISNOMER AND CAN  NOT BE USED TO CALL PAKISTAN AN ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. IT IS A BLASPHEMY!
An Islamic state is a government based on Shari’ah , the Islamic law. The term has been used to describe historical states and modern theories of governance.
EXPLANATION
The term "Islamic state" translates from the Arabic phrase Dawlah Islāmiyyah.
The ideology of the Islamic state is a mix of Salafism, Wahhabism, and other movements.
Some examples of historical Islamic states include the state of Madinah and the Arab caliphates.
Many Muslim countries have incorporated Islamic law into their legal systems.
Some Muslim states have declared Islam as their state religion.
Globalization and nation states –
Challenges and opportunities for Pakistan
Statehood and Islam
The creation of a nation-state led to the establishment of sovereignty over a recognized territory. It also led to the separation of religion from the State, which led to the creation of a secular State, thus ending the formal relations between the two entities.
On the other hand, Islamic State does not believe in the separation of State from religion, even though all minorities are fully protected with certain rights. Islamic State enforces Islamic Laws, i.e. Sharia, but it is a fact that it is not fully implemented in those Muslim countries which have Laws based on Sharia.
Islamic State is hence associated with political Islam. In contrast to Western democracies, which thrive on the principle of majority in enacting rules and laws, in the Islamic State, all laws must conform to the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, irrespective of the majority of the people.
This paradox of separating religion from the State on the one hand and making religion the basis of establishing a State in Islam put the two systems at odds with each other (Pioneer, 2022). The concept was manifested by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when He laid the foundation of the City State of Madinah and replicated it for the next thirty years.
This concept per se; does not complement the nation-state system in the prevailing world order. After that, most Islamic scholars agreed that the system lost its essence as the authority to elect/nominate the Caliph was usurped, resultantly converting the system into a monarchy (Pioneer, 2022).
Nevertheless, another fact that puts the nation-state concept at a tangent with Islam is that almost all the Muslim States emerged either from the ashes of the Ottoman Empire or from the sacrilege of colonialism.
Shari'ah Law and Courts
Introduction
Islam encompasses both an ideological framework and a legal system. The concept under consideration encompasses a collection of ethical principles and behaviors guided by an extensive legal framework that impacts various aspects of human life. The Islamic criminal justice system holds significant importance within the framework of Islam, as it serves to regulate the lives of Muslims worldwide. Additionally, a comprehensive framework of penalties was established in order to discourage individuals from engaging in prohibited activities.
Islamic law encompasses five fundamental objectives, including the preservation of financial resources, the preservation of mental well-being, the preservation of personal safety, and the preservation of religious beliefs. Subsequently, legislative measures were enacted to protect these aforementioned interests.
The term “shariah” holds a literal meaning of “the way to the water” for the Arabs residing in desert regions. Shari'ah is the sole authentic Islamic legal framework and doctrinal system.
The Islamic legal system has been in existence for almost 1300 years, starting from the time of Prophet Mohammad's life (609–631 AD). The legal system of Islam has experienced three main stages throughout its history.
The second phase occurred under the term of Omar Bin Al-Khattab (634–644 AD), who assumed the role of the second Khalif after Mohammad. under his rule, he appointed persons to serve as dedicated judges in each province of the Islamic State under his authority. Nevertheless, the judges merely fulfilled their responsibilities by adhering strictly to the precise commands and instructions provided by him or his deputy.
The third stage occurred inside the “Abbasid State” (780–802 AD), wherein the judiciary operated independently without any form of official oversight, alongside the other branches of government. The initial appointment of the “Chief Justice” entailed the crucial task of appointing judges to specific geographic regions and supervising their activities.
Islam places significant importance on the judiciary, with the chief judge being held in great regard and seen as having equal dignity to the king, also known as the Khalif. The judiciary within the Islamic legal system faced challenges of political interference by leaders and rulers from the Abbasid State until the formation of the Ottoman State (780–1918 AD). During this period, judges were at times compelled to provide interpretations that aligned with the preferences of rulers, rather than prioritizing the pursuit of justice.
In the 19th century, the process of westernization had a profound impact on Muslim society, leading to substantial alterations in the legal framework controlling civil and commercial activities, as well as criminal acts. Consequently, in the majority of Muslim nations, the criminal and general civil law derived from the Shari'ah were substituted with new legal frameworks inspired by European models. Additionally, a novel system of civilian tribunals was established to oversee the implementation of these laws. Consequently, the majority of other Muslim nations have primarily restricted the implementation of Shari'ah law to matters pertaining to family law. However, it is worth noting that Saudi Arabia remains an exception, since it continues to uphold Shari'ah law in principle.
Within the specified jurisdiction, the implementation of Shari'ah law has deviated from traditional enforcement methods and has instead shown itself through current regulations. Hence, despite Shari'ah being acknowledged as the principal legal foundation in numerous Muslim countries, the legal framework of these nations also encompasses other statutes derived from diverse sources, including international law, cultural standards, and customary practices. Consequently, the legal framework in these countries can be described as a combination of statutory laws, which are derived from local Acts of Parliament, Congress, or Assembly, and religious laws based on Shari'ah. The conflation of tribe law or customary practices with Shari'ah rules has, on certain occasions, led to misinterpretations, particularly in relation to women's rights. This occurs when customary or tribal laws are erroneously perceived as sections of Shari'ah law (Kamali, 2008).
Islamic Urbanism
Introduction
Initially preached by its Arabian Prophet Muhammad, Islam started as a religion around the beginning of the seventh century AD in the city of Mecca, in what is today Saudi Arabia. By the end of the eighth century, the Islamic empire had extended, reaching India and China in the east and Spain and Morocco in the West. Beginning with the Umayyads (661–750) ruling out of Damascus and later Córdoba, a series of dynastic empires assumed the leadership of Islam each contributing to the development of Islamic urbanism (Figure 1). Following nearly 11 centuries of expansion, the Muslim World started falling under European colonial rule during the nineteenth century. It was gradually incorporated into the European-dominated world economic system. In the twentieth century, a series of independence movements led to the establishment of new nation-states. Despite all the political and economic transformations, these societies continued many Islamic practices under colonial rule. Hence, the concept of Islamic urbanism can incorporate not only historic cities but also cities under conditions of colonization and globalization.

Six Soldiers of the Philippine Army (PA) were killed by the Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG) which to me shows that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is nowhere near crushing the Internal Threats in the Country, and yet Bong Bong Marcos (BBM) is still switching the AFP's focus to China, mainly at the urgings of the United States (US) and their Filipino Dogs, and the Philippine Communists and their Sympathizers
