(i added small details here in there, especially in crockett but def in bowie! i gave bowie a small patch on his head from where he was supposedly hit with the end of a pistol during the Sandbar Fight, and in the 2nd one i made his eyes duller just to finish off the “kinda doing whatever and don’t have much of a purpose” look—SORRY i’m done 💔)

Wrestling With Sin: 522
This is the 522nd installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder!
Brian Damage This is the 522nd installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching…

Harold and the Purple Crayon Trailer 2
Inside his book, Harold can create anything he wants with his crayon. As he grows up, Harold draws himself out of the book and into the physical world. "Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life—and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible. When the power of unlimited imagination falls into the wrong hands, it will take all of Harold and his friends’ creativity to save both the real world and his own." (Sony Pictures)
Harold and the Purple Crayon stars Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Tanya Reynolds, Zooey Deschanel, Benjamin Bottani, Jemaine Clement, and Alfred Molina. Carlos Saldanha directs from a screenplay by David Guion and Michael Handelman. The film is inspired by Crockett Johnson's book of the same name.
Harold and the Purple Crayon releases to theaters on August 2, 2024.

David Crockett. died at the Alamo, March 6 1836.
Not to be USAmerican on main, but it boggles my mind how many of our semi-mythical national heroes are like, regular guys who were also politicians in the 1830s. They knew about steam-engines! They could have lived into the age of photography and telegraph lines!
As a young child I read an illustrated, abridged version of The Devil and Daniel Webster that made a huge impression on me. Who the heck is Daniel Webster? Well I don't know, but obviously he is some kind of folkloric hero with supernatural powers!
WRONG!! He is a senator from Massachusetts! (Talk about a coolness gap).
Davy Crockett? That guy who was a legendary frontiersman from a bygone age in buckskin and beads, with a dead animal on his head for a hat? ALSO an 1830s politician (and no dead raccoon on his head).
Tumblr media
Yeah his hair is a little long, but that's just your average Romantic. He's a freaking U.S. congressman from Tennessee and is probably buying clothes at the dry goods store.
