SKULLGRIN ( Deluxe ) Generations LEGACY *G1*

Ed eccoci qua a parlare finalmente di Legacy SKULLGRIN, dopo averlo tanto nominato nelle recensioni dei suoi colleghi "Pretender" Iguanus e Bomb-Burst, classe Core, tocca quindi al Deluxe, anche lui ovviamente castrato della gimmick che lo caratterizzava, ovvero quella del guscio / armatura pseudo organico con all'interno il robot trasformabile.

A differenza dei succitati Core, la cui MODALITA' ROBOTICA riproduce le fattezze del solo guscio originale, qui finalmente abbiamo un ibrido effettivo che incorpora dettagli iconici dello shell, principalmente con la testa, spallacci e bacino, con altri meno vistosi, come gli aculei sulle ginocchia, sulla base di un corpo robotico che riprende quello dell'involucro G1, ad esempio nella scultura del torso, sorvolando magari su licenze poetiche come avambracci grigi e cosce viola rispetto agli arti più prettamente monocromatici del giocattolo del 1988.

( L'ibrididazione è aiutata anche dal fatto che originariamente robot e guscio avevano lo stesso schema di colori, viola e grigio... )

E fin qui tutto bene, senza contare le armi ed accessori di cui parlerò successivamente, dato che prima devo soffermarmi sul grande MAH! del modellino, ovvero proprio quella testa così fedele al guscio dell'originale... pure troppo fedele, dato che è praticamente la testa "organica" del mostro, ovvero un teschio mostruoso con corna e zanne, trapiantata su un corpo interamente robotico, che ci sta come i cavoli a merenda! ^^'

Senza contare che non è manco la testa completa, dato che hanno preso solo la parte superiore, dimenticandosi la mandibola che nel guscio del giocattolo originale era scolpita nel torso! ^^'''

E dire che nei vari settei e nei fumetti era disegnato appunto con una bocca e quindi con la testa completa, così come appare in questa maniera nel concept design da cui hanno tratto il giocattolo: non si capisce quindi la quasi sciatteria di copia-incollare la parte superiore della testa, anche se va detto che è scolpita ottimamente, e per esigenze di trasformazione, pure con i corni articolati!

A questo punto, perchè non citare appieno il guscio del 1988 e scolpire una mandibola sul petto del robot, e morta lì, ribadendo che l'ideale però sarebbe stata una testa con lineamente più robotici, per sposarsi meglio con il corpo meccanico... o il contrario, scolpire alcune parti del bot come se fosse organiche, tipo cosce e bicipiti, facendo intendere che fosse una sorta di cyborg, allora.

Va detto che ci sarebbe il precedente della testa da mostro robotica nel Korno Generations precedente, quello repaint dello Straxus di un decennio buono fa, quindi forse non volevano ripetersi... ma davvero, il capo organico sul corpo robotico è davvero un pugno su un occhio, ed il peccato è ancora più mortale in un giocattolo alla fine così ben realizzato e pure graziato con dei begli accessori.

L'originale Pretender aveva infatti una sciabola bianca ed un paio di fucili che si potevano unire in uno a doppia canna, ed il robot stesso aveva dei cannoni retrattili sostiuibili ai pugni, e tutto ciò è stato ben adattato nel Legacy, con due fucili che si rifanno a quelli succitati ma con una lama a mo' di baionetta, e quindi doppia impugnatura per essere usati come spade, così come un paio di cannoni spuntano da un'apposita torretta sulla schiena, staccabile così come i cannoni stessi che possono sostuirsi ai pugni grazie ai fori sugli avambracci, o in generale ai numerosi fori in stile WfC sparsi sul corpo.

Le armi sono comunque ben dipinte, con un argento scuro davvero d'effetto, e le due baionette sono in plastica morbida, o gomma dura, fate voi. Colpo di genio finale, nella torretta spunta pure la codina ( articolata! ) come nel guscio del 1988!! XD

Infine, come stazza è nella media dei Deluxe normali, ma dato come ci siamo abituati l'occhio a vedere il guscio Pretender svettare rispetto agli Transformers, onestamente me lo sarei aspettato un po' più grande almeno di una testa, ma tant'è.

Per quanto, come poi vedremo, la sua modalità alternativa potrebbe sembrare come se il robot fosse sdraiato a terra con le braccia alzate, in realtà la TRASFORMAZIONE è elaborata il giusto, con la schiena che si apre per inglobare il testone e le braccia che si chiudono sotto, il bacino che si ripiega e le gambe che si accorciano, con i cingoli finora dietro ai polpacci, che si protendono ad agganciarsi sulle braccia.

Il CARRARMATO Cybertroniano risultante è effettivamente un po' scialbetto, di primo acchito, sembrando davvero solo il robot sdraiato, e ricordando a malapena il veicolo originale, ovvero un mezzo dalle forme un po' più aerodinamiche ma un po' goffo per la posizione delle armi.

Anche qui i fucili con le ali / sciabole sono sistemati ai lati bassi del veicolo, ma nulla vieta di metterli sui fori ai fianchi dei due cannoni sulla torretta, questa sì davvero un bel passo da gigante rispetto all'originale, in quanto ruotabile e con i cannon che si possono alzare.

I piedi viola stonano come punte frontali del veicolo, e forse era meglio farli grigi, ma sopratutto al mezzo manca la cabina di pilotaggio centrale come nel G1, anche se in tank così non è che sia essenziale, ma più che altro spiace per il tocco di classe mancato visto sempre nei concept design, ovvero un teschio in vista sul muso del carrarmato.

E in effetti nel passaggio di trasformazione del bacino, il teschio sulla cintura andrebbe a guardare in avanti, ma purtroppo viene coperto poi dalle gambe che si uniscono: inutile dire che sarebbe stato bello se con un pannellino il teschio poteva slittare in su e rendersi visibile, o in generale se la trasformazione prevedeva che le gambe restassero un po' separate, ricordando così pure un po' di più il G1, ma niente da fare.

Infine, ma questo ci hanno abituato da mo', il cingolato non ha manco le ruotine per farlo, beh, scorrere sul terreno, ma fa sempre un po' strano se confrontati coi loro corrispettivi di quasi 40 anni fa... ^^'

Concludendo, la realizzazione è impeccabile, fra trasformazione appagante, e modalità giocabili grazie alle armi e posabilità, e tralasciando ormai il discorso del guscio mancante, c'è la pecca a monte del design ibrido sì ma col freno a mano tirato per via della testa mal riportata dal design originale, così come il teschietto mancante nel tank, ma alla fine per i fan del personaggio non è di certo uno spreco di soldi, anche se quei 2 errori di disegni gli hanno precluso la quasi perfezione.

My grew up on pc fps games ass is playing a fighting game for the first time and man this shit is hard as balls. It feels very similar to trying out painting as someone who mostly just drew lineart in that its different approaches (controls) to get a similar result (winning) and while it's tough at first I know it's gonna be super satisfying to really get it eventually.

Hum okay new dizzy gameplay!

I'm gonna be honest... She looks kinda lame... I know the person playing her probably wasn't doing her justice but it was genuinely just normal > normal > Michael sword... I'm hoping people can cook with her (tbh it was the same with Slayer)

But, impressions! She looks more like Ramlethal than a proper Zoner, a lot of the trailer was playing footsies with low commitment pokes. Michael sword is crawl-able with Faust (I think idk man my brain is fried) the S version appears to be a loss of turn on block (fuuuuuck I'm -15 I'm so punishable and vulnerable fuuuuuck) but the H is a guard crush. Risky pressure reset, like Goldie 486H, perchance? And obviously a good combo ender

People are going to do *insane* shit with the frozen ground gimmick, you can get 3/4 screen pickups and slide forward while attacking (but I imagine it sends you to the other corner when someone blocks an attack with high pushback)

There weren't very many interesting combos, but she has some big fucking normals and I think that's gonna lead to some very good links from the right hits (again, like Ramlethal)

Wings of light was not shown. Seems like it's gonna be relegated to "yolo meme option." Fitting, considering her son has the worst move in the game lmao. In all seriousness I think it will never hurt to just toss it out when you have a chance, as it doesn't seem to have any disadvantages (unless you get zoned but y'know)

Onto the other characters: Ram gets both a midscreen sword throw and a forward throw, AND CAN NO LONGER PICK UP HER SWORDS HOLY SHIT

That's fucking *insane.* All sword throws guard crush, but holy shit that's gonna absolutely decimate her Jesus fucking Christ

To supplement that, her non sword throw specials are better now. Flip is an overhead and gives a HKD, Dauro launches on grounded hit (which is gonna give her better poke confirms and *maybe* slightly better corner optimizations to avoid a wall break idk doesn't seem too too crazy,) Rekka 2 guard crushes when you delay it, and Rekka 3 is a HKD on delayed hit. Okay. You were +24 anyway who cares

Faust. He can golf club his items now. Idfk he looks much the same I really don't know enough about him, the golf club has a good hitbox at least? It seems to be a bit of a fucking wall, so if he can use it in neutral that's gonna be huge

wada sez: (chuckles) I’m in danger. For over a week, I’m going to be serialising the “Human Component” strips by Iván Mas, which each focus on a different character from the Japanese Transformers cartoon Super-God Masterforce. A curious fandom titbit is that, while the Japan-originated continuations of the G1 cartoon were never broadcast in English, they were translated and dubbed into Spanish, giving them surprising prominence in Spanish-speaking pockets of the fandom. Thing is, I haven’t seen a single episode of Masterforce, so take my annotations with a big fat pinch of salt. Luckily, this first strip by Carlos Oliveros basically serves to provide a dramatis personae and acquaint readers with the conceit of Masterforce as laid out in its first episode. The Autobot and Decepticon Pretenders arrive on Earth in its distant past, and over the course of history the Autobots successfully seal away the Decepticons, inspiring humanity’s myths. In the present day, however, the Decepticons have escaped to wreak havoc anew! Gasp! This strip was dedicated to the memory of the lead writer of both Masterforce and Victory, Hiroyuki Hoshiyama. Weirdly, in the commentary, artist Mas seems to talk as if this was intended as an IDW strip, despite there being absolutely nothing in the strip itself to present it as anything other than a direct adaptation of the anime? Anyway, it seems to me that the Mosaic editors didn’t really know what to do with the “Human Component” strips, which made limited use of sequential storytelling, focused on an extremely obscure series, and were being produced at a startling rate. Mas had intended for them to be interspersed with other strips of his, but collaborators would result in delays; in the end, the Mosaic editors more or less paced them out between other strips by other creative teams, but I’ve decided to lump them together for ease of reading. And because I’m a freak, I’m tagging all the characters under their original Western names; Bomb-Burst is here called Blood (because he’s a vampire), Skullgrin becomes Dauros (a corruption of “tauros”, i.e. bull), and Submarauder becomes Gilmer (because he’s a fish with gills). A huge quantity of teasers and behind-the-scenes material is included below the break, along with my massaged machine translation of Mas’ own commentary for the strip.

I'm not sure how the idea of making a mosaic of these characters came up, but the truth is that I consider Masterforce by nature of the characters, chapters, drawings, plot, variety, etc, it’s the best Transformers series that has been made and certainly I think it has enormous potential.

In contrast to this maybe that's why I'm surprised by the fact that outside Japan there is almost nothing of this theme, and almost everything we find is from the 80's, a shame, but I thought it was a good way to introduce the subject in the IDW-verse, even if it is in an UNOFFICIAL way, but at least it will see enough people who may be curious about the series, they can see it and maybe they will like it.

Hopefully in the not too distant future we will be able to see something of these characters.

The concept of transformer presented here is very different from what we are used to, it is a very japanese concept, but not worse, it is simply different, in this aspect the mosaic is more as you can see, a kind of introduction to the characters and setting the scene than anything else, but as a first point of contact I think it's fine, there is another Masterfroce on the way, I hope you can see it soon.

Dearest Vector Prime, owing to how in the Shattered Glass continuity the Decepticons were the quote on quote 'good guys', how did the events of Super God-Masterforce forego in this?

Dear Shattered-God Surmiser, I'm aware of an alternate Earth where the colonizing Super-Robots known as 'Cybertrons' came to Earth long ago to infiltrate human civilization and manipulate the course of human history, pushing it ever towards exploitation and destruction of its natural resources. However, the cruel Hawk and Maximus-the-Cowardly found themselves in conflict with the noble Destrons, who had come to Earth to protect its destiny. Like Hawk, they were Pretenders too, but took on grotesque and frightful organic forms to warn humanity that they fought on behalf of the wild creatures across the globe.

Once Turtler and the Seacons secured the oceans and prevented melting in the polar regions, the Cybertrons were desperate and enlisted easily-corruptible human youth to carry out their will: a snobby, elitist student from France, Minerva; the spoiled prince of an empire, Cab, whose fire truck Transtector actually caused fires and burned down forests; and Shuta Gō, a tentative and calculating young man whose father became rich from rigging international soccer tournaments.

Dauros and the other Destrons were worried about active human involvement in their efforts, but the benevolent goddess Angel Alpha gave them her blessing to seek out worthy adversaries: Cancer, the contemplative monk who struggled with his dark side; Bullhorn, who taught self-defense courses at a local homeless shelter; and Wilder, a young business school prodigy who was betrayed by his best friend and ousted from his own nonprofit organization.

The battles escalated, soon involving the Godmasters who could harness the very life-giving energy of Earth itself. The struggles took a turn for the worst when Ginrai appeared, an evil politician who now wore the transtector of the dangerous Optimus Prime.

At this point, Angel Alpha was forced to admit a secret truth: she had hoped to make peace with the Cybertrons and had made transtectors as a peace offering, even one for Ginrai. Alas, this was not to be, and she herself intervened in the conflict, incarnating as Black Zarak, a vengeful form to defend Earth as a last resort. She enlisted the aid of Giga and Mega, a married couple who donated their billions to support carbon neutral efforts. Eventually the scourge of the Cybertrons was repulsed. Giga and Mega were able to adopt not only Wilder, Bullhorn, and Cancer, but also Shuta, Cab, and Minerva, giving them—and the planet—hope for a better future.

-If you didn’t read that one long-ass fic or my (also long-ass) ramble about landiver as a couple, they went to like military academy together and that’s where their whole relationship began....also they never formally met Phoenix but he went to that same academy. Hawk, meanwhile, studied somewhere else...he was kinda always on a fast-track to a higher-level military position so he went to a more “prestigious” school...he aimed to be a captain or some higher rank for a couple reasons, but one of the biggest was so he could prove that a team could be run without the meaningless caste/social class-enforcing regulations and rituals he so much despised. 

-Giga and Mega enjoy when they have quiet nights to curl up and read books together....perhaps also with a glass of wine to accompany this.....Giga dozes off first, always.

-Hydra actually studies other languages for fun; right now he speaks German, and has a decent grip on English, Japanese, and French--he's currently trying to learn Chinese.

-Mega and Giga are really good cooks, and they are responsible for the banquet-type meals the Deceptions have sometimes. They also enjoy it, viewing cooking as a "labor of love" and enjoying the smiles on everyone's faces when they sit for dinner and eat. Now, while they appreciate help in the kitchen....surprisingly only Bullhorn is a decent cook and the least likely to break something (he actually puts effort into cooking/baking, it's a hobby of his)....so Mega finds ways to gently coax Cancer and Wilder out of the kitchen so they don't end up making a mess of things...💀✨

-The only Pretender who perhaps has never been to Cab's treehouse is Phoenix.....he's literally nowhere to be found most days cause of his job 😭 bro is literally gone for half the missions they go on too sjsjjssj

-Phoenix is a nice guy, really. He tries. To hang out when he's around, to remember names and come off as easy-going and funny, to be friendly (which he is), but he himself is a little awkward sometimes, surprisingly more of an introvert...he feels bad about always being busy...the kids (and the other team members) do understand and don't blame him for it, but he thinks about it a lot....after all, the Pretenders all know each other best because of all the ime they spent on their initial mission assignment....So basically, he's always been distant but he's not a distant person, its just his situation in life 😔✨

-The kids introduced Lofi to Hawk and he listens to it a lot while working, it helps him focus quite well.

-Diver never formally got his driver's license...he does know how to drive a car...it just deadass had never crossed his mind and then when it did..............he'd just forget 💀 Lander is usually glad to give him a ride in his vehicle mode tho, and on occasion, he'll be driving if he has to...just hoping in the back of his mind he doesnt get stopped or something

-Oh yea and those two hang out in each other's rooms in HQ all the time....on the whole, Diver goes to Lander's room more often tho (I believe there was an episode where they were in this room-looking space looking at the news together and I will die on the hill that was one of their rooms in HQ)

-After coming together with the other Godmasters, Roadking found a new hobby in poking fun at Ginrai and Ginrai would always have good comebacks; I mean come ON theyre both 19 and definitely have similar personalities, they most certainly argue and have a mild (friendly) rivalry (nothing serious, all /lh if you know what I mean 😌)

-Ranger is the chillest dude. He and Diver get along v well, and he is always amused to watch Diver and Lander go at it in one of their (ultimately pointless) discussions about motivations of characters in a movie they just watched or why there was a billboard with a misspelling in the slogan line on the road the other day.

-Lightfoot unironically really likes classical music over any other kind of music, and I say unironically because Roadking and the kids thought he was joking

-I swear I've mentioned this before but Ginrai regularly goes on non-work-related drives in his truck; he always did ever since he started working his trucker job, and still enjoys it, especially at night. And, now that he has a virtually indestructible transtector for a truck...he's got no worries. Hawk tags along when he's not swamped with work...they very much enjoy the time together, sharing music and sometimes stopping at random places on the side of the road for one reason or another.

-On a similar note, Wilder likes walks on the beach by himself. He has a lot of stuff to think about and gets pretty frustrated pretty fast so...it does him good to have the silence and alone time.

-Lander initially used to not need glasses but then over time (after he added glasses to his human disguise) because his human form wore the (random) pair for so long, he found his human body's vision deteriorating to the point where he finally dragged himself over to an optometrist one day for a formal appointment, where he ended up getting the right prescription...and all was right with the world

-Ginrai plays with the straps of his overall things when he's nervous/jittery.

-Buster is a coffee-enjoyer (like 1-2 cups a day, actually--) meanwhile, Hydra is a tea guy, like Giga. Mega will drink either, she has no preference.

-All the Pretenders have taken the kids out for some kind of training exercise at least once, but they've gone with Diver the most.

-Due to his previous occupation & personal interest (as a hobby), Ranger knows how to deal with & ride horses. He tried to teach both Ginrai and Roadking (initially it was just Ginrai but Roadking chimed in wanting to do it as well; Lightfoot is already something of a horseback rider himself, so he offered to tag along for fun) how to ride horses.........once. never again 😀

-nearly every single (human) character on both sides has some form of social media. And yes, they do congregate on Twitter for the most part (I have so many thoughts about this but I'll leave it at this for now)

-Lander has been known to make drunken tweets at odd hours of the morning and then when he's sober again....he really only feels like deleting the most heinous ones. He doesn't really care what he posts, especially cause he has all work-related contacts blocked on that account so...he's got no worries.

-Shuta's motorcycle-lookin bike thing is actually a regular motorbike turned into something way cooler as a whole separate job-related project by his father years ago...Shuta just started using it for himself one day and no one seemed to notice...so he kept going out with it.

-Sometimes, when he's working, Lander ties his hair back, especially when it gets longer (before he gets it trimmed)--he puts it in a ponytail so it doesn't distract him. (Sometimes he leaves it in and doesn't realize; Diver thinks it's cute)

-The Pretenders, while in their human bodies, do have stuff like heightened immune systems, quicker healing from physical wounds, ability to take higher levels of alcohol and such with little to no problems, etc......but they still have human bodies.....so it's not impossible they (and it does happen) get sick, break bones/sustain different kinds of injuries, get drunk, become generally physically exhausted, etc....like with food/drink, they can go way longer than the normal human without it, but at some point they'd need to eat something or they'd starve in their human form (just as Cybertronians need to refuel and stuff)........so......anyway......on the mild tangential connection to the topic of getting drunk......it is a mystery to all of them how bad Hawk is at holding alcohol...of all of them, he gets drunk the fastest, both in his Cybertronian and human body--whether it's energon or human wine, Hawk has a 95% chance of getting tipsy off even just the first glass....hence he is careful with how much he consumes...most times.

-Clouder is that one guy that will make multiple extra accounts to mess with someone. He has done this actually. No one wants to add him on discord servers as a 'friend' because they just feel the weird vibes his main account gives,,,

-The Deception HM Jrs would have been voted "best friendship trio" in their senior year of highschool superlatives contest had they actually gone to school instead of what they ended up doing (based on a real entry in my own highschool's superlatives contest btw haha)

-Lander drinks....a lot.....he has a lot of heavy thoughts. Especially after Shuta's dad died...he harbors a lot of private guilt about that. Diver, beneath much of their daily back and forth teasing, is always watching for signs anything is getting worse with Lander, and is always silently there for him in that regard. They often go drinking together so Diver can just make sure nothing happens to Lander. Lander knows this, and lets him...he trusts Diver, and they understand without needing even to discuss it; Diver's presence gives him confidence to gradually learn to pull himself out of these frequent ruts, and over time, he found his way back to enjoying drinking rather than using it as a way to attempt to forget the past. Diver was there the whole way for it :]

-Ginrai will not eat natto.

-As a Nagano native, Ginrai has absolutely taken members of the team to his hometown and the surrounding areas for sightseeing and other things :3 Also, Nagano is known for its awesome apples! (A/n: Actually real; I was there and learned about that/ate some apple treats....which were literally so good 🤤) so Ginrai is very fond of apples in general, always has been ^^

-while its true that Dauros was plotting some kind of usurpation of Blood as the trio's (unofficial) leader, he actually gave up because upon later thought....what was the point? It was just the three of them? So...he conceded to just let Blood do whatever and instead just be snarky with him. Gilmer is like a third wheel to this conflict, with no actual opinion on this at any point. He's just there to manically laugh alongside them while they carry out their Evil Plans™

-Hawk kinda has kitten sneezes (canon 💀😭)

-Diver actually doesn't like heights much....but you wouldn't be able to tell because he does his best to bear through it, especially during missions....it also helps when the distance from the ground below is not visible, so like "out of sight out of mind" sorta thing....but yea it makes him uneasy and (somewhat uncharictaristically) tense when heights come into play. Of course, it also helps a lot when Lander's there...he just focuses on the presence of someone who isn't afraid and that helps him not be as afraid of it for that moment

-You'd think Lightfoot doesn't have any interest in being any kind of jokester, but he's actually a serial pun-maker. Do not get him started, he will not stop, and he'll do it with a somewhat neutral expression too, which makes it funnier for the others 💀

-Bullhorn sometimes puts Cancer on his shoulders if they're in some kind of a crowd and the boy can't see, since Wilder and Bullhorn are tall enough to usually get a good view, but Cancer is usually not.

-Phoenix is the one monitoring airwaves the most (it's partially his actual dayjob to do something similar, so he does both that and work for the Autoboy team most days/nights); as such, he kept contact with the Headmasters quite often for a while...then they stopped sending transmissions...he hasn't completely lost contact with them but it's reduced only to emergency transmissions now....he misses the random conversations they'd have with him.

-Roadking really likes EDM, dance, Phonk, etc.

yeah as the title suggests it’s just me being bored so

it’s not really the whole shipping shtick as some other people do and it’s more or less me wanting to dump my thoughts and such so here we go

-the transtectors that the headmaster juniors and godmasters use for both sides were sentient beforehand, or in the case of the headmaster juniors, were created for cyberdroids on planet master, in particular goshooter was made for jack from headmasters before his demise, overlord meanwhile was a decepticon warlord that ended up getting put into stasis lock sometime during the timeskip between season one of the jap g1 show and season 2 aka transformers 2010 or the movie.

-godbomber has it’s own seperate intelligence from god ginrai, personality wise basically springer but snarkiness toned down a bit

-mostly because we can’t have a transformers show without the starscream trope, overlord wants to basically take over whatever devil z’s planning and rejoin the main decepticon forces in space, but can’t really do much cuz AHEM married couple momento

-after the end of super god masterforce and sometime between victory, buster and hydra actually end up being split from their transtector bodies via some weird ass scifi experiment courtesy of deathsaurus or whatever, with their transtector bodies gaining their personalities, albeit without a sibling relationship

-scorponok actually did end up surviving the destruction of blackzarak after devil z took over his body, but in a fitting act of karma for the stunts he pulled during headmasters, got captured by the autobots and imprisoned.

-the other decepticon pretenders from the 1988 toyline were also apart of dauros group when they ended up on earth thousands of years ago, but never really got a chance to do much cause well, they’re dead jim.

-the decepticon forces in space aren’t under the control of blackzarak, but rather a trio of soundblaster, cyclonus, and scourge

-turtler had a robot mode like his toy, but got modelocked into his turtle form mostly as a punishment for failing devil z after a undisclosed mission

-the seacon drones do have their american counterparts personalities, but they’ve been cloned so many fucking times they got NO sparks so..

-buster and hydra’s transtectors also are able to combine with leozack, hellbat and guyhawk and needlenose (a double targetmaster fyi) to turn into a combiner named stormrunner, of course being a combiner he’s dumb as a sack of rocks, but basically powerful as heck, spinster having a helicopter alt mode does join in to form a replacement limb or turn into a weapon a la the seacons but it’s rather rare though
