MEGATRON ( Deluxe ) Movie Studio Series 114 *TRANSFORMERS ONE*

Seguendo a ruota il suo amico / rivale Optimus, ecco pure MEGATRON "One" esordire come Studio Series e nella nuova sotto scala Deluxe in cui hanno relegato i personaggi dell'ultimo film ( d'animazione ) dei Transformers.

Perlomeno i nostri due leader sono Deluxe alti, ma Megatron qui mi aveva tratto in inganno dalle foto promozionali, dato che il ROBOT pareva fosse di poco più alto di Prime, e invece è solo una mera illusione, per via della struttura longilinea del corpo, che si traduce in gambe un pelo più lunghe sulle anche e un petto più stretto che, di rimbalzo, in un confronto ravvicinato con Optimus, seppur alti uguali, lo fa sembrare quasi più piccolo!! ^^''

Fortunatamente il nostro novello comandante Decepticon recupera a livello estetico, in quanto fedelissimo alla sua versione potenziata e definitiva con il T-Cog di Megatronus, a livello di articolazioni con la posabilità standard cui va sottolineata la rotazione dei pugni e il poter piegare completamente i gomiti, ed a livello di accessori, con la torretta argentata sulla schiena, due laser gemelli ed un cannone corto a cui si aggiunge l'iconicissimo CANNONE A FUSIONE.

Questo però lascia un po' interdetti, invece, dato che sì, ha le fattezze della storica arma del G1, MA nel film lo si vede solo nella prima versione trasformabile di D-16, non in quella finale e potenziata dove si potenzia pure l'arma, con una forma diversa e la canna a 3 punte.

Come mai quindi questo cambiamento? Forse hanno aggiunto il potenziamento del cannone nel film in un secondo momento, quando il modellino ormai era in produzione? Forse hanno pensato che fosse più iconico questo cannone, per il giocattolo? Forse gli Hasbri hanno parenti che lavorano nelle ditte di add-on 3p e così fanno un favore a loro? ^^'

Non lo so! Ma è anche vero che nel film quel cannone viene distrutto dall'ascia di Optimus e quindi forse poi Megatron torna alla sua versione precedente, chissà. O sarebbe interessante se lo aggiungessero in seguito come accessorio ad una futura uscita SS di One: stavo pensando ad eventuale MEGATRONUS PRIME ma a guardare i concept non ha quel cannone come arma ( ed avrebbe avuto senso invece la somiglianza, vabbè ).

Il cannone a fusione, comunque, si può attaccare su entrambe le braccia a piacere, e viceversa i due laser gemelli, che di solito stanno appesi sul non ingombrante zaino / torretta: all'interno di questa può nascondersi parzialmente l'altro cannoncino, dato che si può ruotare la torretta sopra la testa mimando una scena del combattimento finale del film.

Sempre come nel film, il cannoncino può anch'esso sistemarsi, tramite un'apposito aggancio rettangolare, su entrambi gli avambraccia a piacere ( anche se a guardar bene il design, pare più uno dei due laser gemelli, vabbè ), oppure lo si sistema rovescio sulla canna del cannone a fusione, cercando di imitare così alla buona il cannone evoluto di più sopra. A sto punto, peccato che gli altri due laser gemelli non possano pure loro agganciarsi al cannone a fusione, ma in compenso possono sistemarsi negli appositi fori nella parte interna delle gambe, così come poi troveranno posto nel mezzo trasformato.

La TRASFORMAZIONE è interessante ed appagante, con le gambe che si allargano piegandosi internamente a metà cosce, ruotando ciascuna di 180° ed aprendosi per permettere ad i piedi di ruotare all'interno venendo sostituiti dai cingoli. Il pannello del torso slitta verso il basso, in modo da potervi ribaltare nel vuoto creatisi la testa, che si porta dietro il pannello che la sostiene insieme alle braccia ed alla torretta che ruota di 180°. Gli arti superiori ruotano e si piegano diventando i cingoli posteriori, mentre i pannelli delle gambe slittano fino a chiudersi e bloccarsi sul torso e le braccia, ed infine si agganciano il cannone e il cannoncino uniti alla torretta.

Il CARRARMATO CYBERTRONIANO risultante, ad essere pedanti, sebbene ne catturi l'essenza non è così fedele a quello del film, dato che i moduli cingolati anteriori un po' troppo lunghi, mentre la torretta è corta rispetto alla canna e sopratutto non al centro del veicolo ma in coda.

… Però forse è meglio così, mi azzardo a dire, dato che sennò era praticamente uguale a tutti i cavolo di tank cybertroniani con moduli laterali cingolati più grandi della parte centrale visti da TANKORR Beast Machines o Megatron Armada in poi, mentre ora sembra davvero più mortaio mobile, ed, ironicamente, qui si nota meno che le parti anteriori cingolate sono palesemente le gambe del robot!

Magari la torretta, quella sì, era interessante che si potesse allungare o che, ma non si sono sprecati manco a mettere le rotelline sotto i cingoli, così come la parte anteriore centrale di quello che era il torso è bella vuota sotto, e idem quando si solleva la torretta, che si vede la facciona di Megatron, ma, ehi!, almeno la torretta si solleva pure! ^^

Infine, ricordiamoci dei laser gemelli che a scelta stanno o sui fianchi del veicolo o direttamente ai lati della torretta, anche nella prima maniera sono una citazione al carrarmato di D-16 col T-Cog, e non alla summenzionata versione potenziata….

Quindi, fondamentalmente un bel modellino in tutte le sue modalità, ma stranamente non somigliante al 100% a come appare nel film ( PER ESSERE UNO STUDIO SERIES, sottolineamo ), essendo ibridato negli accessori con la sua versione intermedia: a sto punto tanto valeva fare davvero direttamente D-16 e quindi poi fare un Megatron definito e magari pure Voyager, a meno che sti furboni non vogliano far uscire davvero in seguito il DEFINITIVO Megatron di One dopo questa versione forse affrettata. Che dire se non un bel "Chi vivrà, vedrà", allora! ^^'

Been a while since i've posted audio on tumblr (well, it's been a while since i've posted anything on tumblr but that's besides the point)  Today i went and installed some new VST for music purposes and ngl they kinda sparked a new track  the one i'm using in said track (this one) is the Soft Piano from LABS by Spitfire. It was free and it sounds great so it was kinda an easy decision

honestly i like to think that this track is pretty well written so i’d appreciate a listen/reblog? thanks :]

Ok I played both of the new episodes and I came here on tumblr to read something. I just now noticed that there are, like, A LOT of strange interactions regarding Lance: - Mathieu that says “the same Lance that...” and huang hua that shuts him up  - Huang chu that compares Mathieu to Lance like it’s nothing, and also gardienne is confused about that - and also in the first meeting with the guard there’s a dialogue option that talks about Lance making a comparison, but the reaction was.. a laugh??? Wtf guys it’s not that great to be compared to the almost-distructor of Eldarya, or there’s something that we’ll discover later

Saturation Knob by Softube (Windows, Mac)

The saturation knob is literally one knob that allows you toadd some warmth and shimmer to the vocals, guitar, and any other track you’dlike…

Basically, it just adds volume and warmth.

Just don’t go overboard with the saturation, if it startssounding distorted, dial it back down a bit… unless that’s what you’re goingfor.

One huge issue I have with this plugin is not the pluginitself, but all the hoops they make you jump through to be able to use it.

You have to register with them, also register with ilok.comand then link those accounts…

AFTER that, I know… super annoying, you download the gobblerapp and install the plugin, now you can finally use it!

The Mercuriall Metal Area mt-a is based on the Boss MT-2,which is a super popular distortion pedal.

TNT by Ourafilmes (Windows Only)

TNT is a Distortion/Saturation plugin which wasoriginally created for audio processing on drums, as well as FX and basssounds.

It comes in Multi-band and single-band both with mono andstereo components.

Both share the same saturation/distortion algorithms but thesingle band features a Tone knob that is not present in the multi-band version.

This Tone knob features a transparent 6dB crossover filterthat separates the low and high bands where you can use differentsaturation/distortion algorithms on each band.

There is also a balance knob that helps to level both bandsbefore final output.

The Plusdistortion plug-in is an emulation of an MXRDistortion+.

This is an emulation of a Fuzz Face and a Tone Bender MKIIwith added controls for tweaking.

It runs in mono or stereo, and has selectable 2xoversampling.

The Fuzz Face was first made by Arbiter Electronics in 1966.

It had a thick, fuzzy distortion and was made famous byartists like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour.

The Tone Bender MKII was also released in 1966, by SolaSound.

Compared to the Fuzz Face, it has a brighter, more distortedsound.

Buz by Buzzroom (Windows Only)

This is an old sounding distortion/fuzz pedal effect.

There are loads of VST distortion effects out there (sometop ones too -JCM 900, green machine etc), but only a few have a bigmuff soundlike this.

Buz has a nice wide tonal range, and the ‘edge’ controlreally adds some “sleaze” to the sound.

It allows you to get that authentic 60s garage band soundwithout much effort.

This is a basic valve overdrive vst effect.

It uses almost no cpu resources and it’s very simple to use:

It only has two knobs and an on/off switch.

Simply apply the desired amount of valve overdrive to thesound using the DRIVE knob and then adjust the OUT gain knob tothe desired output level.

You can also use use the automation feature if you so desire.

This effect works best with sounds that have lots of low –low/mid frequencies.

Use it on synths, basses, guitars, leads, lo-fi sounds,voices or any sound that you want to slightly push harder, warm, overdrive oreven distort.

STARSCREAM ( Voyager ) Movie Studio Series GAMER EDITION 06

Immancabilissimo ecco anche STARSCREAM unirsi agli Studio Series Gamer Edition, e con lui di seguito si aggiungeranno anche i suoi colleghi Seeker, ma personalmente sono contento di questa versione Voyager del personaggio di War for Cybertron, dato che ai tempi ho adorato il Deluxe uscito come Generations Fall of Cybertron per come reinterpretava il design classico di Astrum.

Il JET SPAZIALE infatti si ispirava un po' agli iconici tetrajet del primo episodio dei cartoni G1, ma con l'aggiunta delle ali puntate in avanti, e questo SS è assai fedele ai concept design… pure troppo, però!

Il velivolo del gioco infatti risulta più aerodinamico, con il muso più sottile ed allungato e le ali più grandi, il contrario di questo modellino, purtroppo, cui si crede sia la versione "hoover mode" del mezzo, ovvero quella non in movimento, per via delle ali corte e dei motori posteriori più allargati, ma dovrebbe avere anche le due pinne posteriori abbassate, quindi diciamo che è una sorta di ibrido, al limite.

Come vedremo poi, il jet soffre di gigantismo del cockpit ed invidia delle ali perchè poi ALMENO ne favorirà l'aspetto del robot, ma intanto è un peccato che l'aereo risulti così goffo, anche se vale sempre la regola che in quanto mezzo cybertroniano ed alieno possa prendersi tutte le libertà estetiche che vuole, e che, ripeto, alla fine è fedele ad un concept design, solo che purtroppo è quello meno riuscito! ^^'

E' un peccato perchè poi il modello viene sminuito dal suo precedente Deluxe, che era decisamente più armonioso alla vista, ma è comunque ricco di particolari scolpiti e dipinti, con un ottimo rosso / bordeau e blu scuro metallici, tocchi di argento e violetto, e pure i simboli di fazione sugli alettoni ed entrambe le facce delle ali.

Ecco, se magari dipingevano pure i bordi del pezzo di plastica arancione che funge da vetro della carlinga, magari questa sembrava più affusolata e si evitava l'effetto "carotone". ^^'

Anche perchè non è così grossa per nulla, poichè contiene la testa del robot ed è quindi funzionale alla TRASFORMAZIONE, la quale è davvero bella elaborata partendo da quella più semplice dell'incarnazione Deluxe precedente, con però ora le braccia che sono incastrate nella parte anteriore inferiore e non posteriore, con i reattori che si allungano per diventar le gambe, il muso che al solito si abbassa e da cui appunto spunta il capo, mentre la parte superiore posteriore si ripiega, ognuno dei 3 moduli di cui è formata, e si adagia sulla schiena.

Il sacrificio estetico dell'aereo viene perlomeno ripagato dalla bella modalità di ROBOT, che mantiene quell'estetica bizzarra del personaggio dei videogiochi, mutuata vagamente dalla versione cinematografica a mio avviso, con le gambe con degli "artiglioni" al posto dei piedi, le anche larghe e le braccia un po' più lunghe della norma.

Purtroppo anche qui il carotone sul torso è fuori luogo, ma diciamo che col tempo l'occhio si abitua, mentre ora le ali corte hanno senso, MA forse era meglio magari farle accorciabili, dato che il jet ne è penalizzato, come abbiamo visto prima…

Ottima la testa sempre blu scuro metallico e la faccia argento scolpita perfettamente, così come carini i due modulini mobili ai lati della stessa ( "accessori" a parte non montati subito nella figura per via delle finestre aperte delle scatole... ), ma ancor meglio gli alettoni verticali ruotati di 180° verso l'alto, in modo da imitare al meglio i dettagli della schiena come si vedeva nel videogioco.

Ancora, davvero belli gli stinchi in rosso metalizzato, e ottimo anche come posabilità, potento ruotare il bacino, i pugni oltre al solito corredo standard, così come la testa puà anche abbassarsi e alzarsi per bene, e le ali possono "sbattere" su e giù tranquillamente.

A parte il summenzionato carotone sul petto, come altri eventuali inestetismi abbiamo un paio di vuoti nell'interno coscia, ma poi basta, mentre come accessori abbiamo le armi che sfoggiava nel videogioco, ovvero il fucile da cecchino chiamato per tutti Null-Ray in onore dell'arma storica sin dalla G1 di Starscream ed una mazza ferrata bella grande col manico separabile, che possono appendersi a riposo nei fori dietro la schiena.

Il Raggio-Zero, da buona tradizione dei WfC SS, può sostituirsi al solo avambraccio destro, con questo che però non trova poi posto per nascondersi nel robot, MA per fortuna almeno hanno messo anche un'impugnatura standard tonda al fucile, in modo da essere impugnato anche normalmente dalle mani. Peccato che il foro posteriore per agganciarlo al gomito sia esagonale e non compatibile con la spina della mazza, sennò si poteva creare un'unica armona.

Insomma, davvero un buon modello che non raggiunge la perfezione per colpa di un paio di dettagli minori ma significativi, ovvero le summenzionate ali piccole ed il cockpit spropositato, cui magari poi ci si abitua ma che ad una prima occhiata potrebbe smorzare gli entusiasmi, laddove invece il giocattolo ha parecchio da offrire ma al solito in fase di progettazione ci si perde in un bicchier d'acqua che potrebbe invece annegare quanto di buono c'è in questo Astrum videoludico.

Be a preservative christian to others and people around you. 2. Be a fire burning Christian who is hurt enough to help ignite cold/luke warmness of others and people around you. 3. Be compassionate enough to help perishing souls get back to CHRIST 4. Be the eyes that see spiritual things which God has shown to be solutions to many problems 5. Be the doer and the hearer of the Word of God which is life to all that believes it. 6. Be the type of preservatives that settle disputes in many areas and not a distructor of homes. 7. BARRICADE ( Deluxe ) Movie Studio Series GAMER EDITION 02

In mezzo alle riproposte dei personaggi di War for Cybertron nella nuova veste di Studio Series Gamer Edition, per fortuna spunta un modellino inedito, non apparso nelle linee di giocattoli contemporanee all'uscita dei videogiochi dove questi personaggi apparivano, ovvero BARRICADE, il poliziotto cattivo nato e portato alla fama nel primo film dal vivo dei Transformers del 2007.

Anzi no, anche se ormai associamo quel nome a quel personaggio, a dire il vero un Barricade esisteva già sin dalla G1, nella forma di un Micromaster fucsia ed azzurro che diventava un'auto da F-1, e questa versione videoludica pare ispirarsi più a lui, ma non nei colori, col nero e grigio scuro che richiamano di più quello cinematografico.

Se i vari design dei WfC del videogioco li ho sempre trovati innovativi ma comunque reminiscenti dei personaggi G1 cui si ispiravano, giocoforza non avendo un corrispettivo definito questo Barricade mi è sempre parso un po' anonimo, e per questo non mi ha mai attirato tanto, a veder le foto in rete di questo modellino seppur inedito, ma una volta dal vivo il ROBOT finalmente palesa il suo carisma latente, con una figura bella solida.

Il nostro è riportato fedelmente dal modello in CGI del gioco, appunto con un grigio scuro che si sposa col nero principali ed i però pochi tocchi di viola, sopratutto sulle ruote, cui ci tornerò nel veicolo.

La parte peggiore si sicuro sono i piedi, un po' troppo grandi e piatti, e se la forma grossomodo è quella a guardar il concept in CGI, la fregatura sta nei talloni corti che tendono a far cadere all'indietro il robot con un nonnulla. Non scherzano nemmeno le ruote ai lati delle anche, anche loro fedeli al design del personaggio, e citazione degli stessi particolari nel Micromaster G1 omonimo, ma volendo queste si possono abbassare sotto le ginocchia, come farà anche il suo remold del generico Decepticon Soldier uscito in seguito.

Anche la forma della testa è presa dal Micromaster, ed anche per questo però il nostro mi risultava banale dato che sembra essere un Megatron dei poveri con quel casco nero tondeggiante, ma vabbè, magari è solo un problema mio. ^^'

Comunque, interessante è la zainata sulle spalle che rispecchia l'effettiva schiena del personaggio nel videogioco, con scolpito il reattore che sarà nel retro del veicolo, e sotto cui si può sistemare a riposo l'unico accessorio / arma, una mitraglietta leggera che, come negli altri Gamer Edition SS di WfC, si fa usare al robot sostituendola all'avambraccio destro.

E come per gli altri GE di questa prima wave, a parte Optimus, pure lui però non ha poi nessun posto dove appendere l'avambraccio tolto; come posabilità sulla carta non siamo messi male, con tanto di rotazioni di polsi e bacino e tutto il resto del pacchetto tranne l'inclinazione laterale delle caviglie, MA quando dicevo sopra che la figura è solida non scherzavo, nel senso che le articolazioni sono davvero dure, che si fa fatica anche a ruotar la testa, così come la zainata e le ruote sulle cosce summenzionate sono d'impiccio per i movimenti del robot.

Peccato infine che non abbia nessun altro accessorio arma bianca come gli altri colleghi sempre della prima wave.

La TRASFORMAZIONE non è nulla di nuovo e si è già vista in millemila altri, ma per questo Barricade si sposa molto bene, con i piedi che si richiudono verso l'alto, le ruote sulle cosce si abbassano ed il bacino ruota mentre salgono i pannelli sui polpacci per formare la parte anteriore e centrale del veicolo, mentre le mani rientrano negli avambracci e si abbassano le spalle con le braccia che diventano le parti laterali, ed infine la zainata sulla schiena si dispiega rivelando la parte superiore posteriore ottimamente nascosta che si posiziona al suo posto.

L'AUTO CYBERTRONIANA risultante non ha nulla dell'eventuale auto della polizia del Barricade dei film, così non ricorda manco da lontano un'auto da F1 come il Micromaster, ma è comunque davvero bella e sopratutto grande, quasi fosse un Voyager.

La forma è stilizzata al limite del giocattoloso ma contenuta dalla colorazione grigio e nera, con tocchi di viola ed argento, MA un po' rovinata dalla banalità delle ruote tutte nere e con l'aggancio alla "sorpresina da ovetto kinder", laddove sarebbe stato il massimo averle in plastica trasparente viola o almeno con qualche linea sempre viola.

Bello il paraurti aggressivo frontale ed i reattori sul retro; magari avrebbe giovato esteticamente aver le ruote posteriori più grandi, ma va bene anche così. Niente male il simbolone di fazione sul cofano, ed ovviamente l'arma ( che a guardar il videogioco dovrebbe essere un po' più grande a paragone ) può piazzarsi subito dietro il tettuccio o "nascosta" sempre nel retro.

Di certo è un salto nel passato in quel periodo e con quello stile di veicoli creati per i videogiochi del dittico Cybertroniano, così come aiuta l'essere inedito come modellino rispetto ai colleghi, e quindi ha quasi più carisma così che come robot!

Insomma, un bel modellino da scoprire, per chi magari come me ad una visione superficiale non dice chissà cosa, e al solito peccato per quei difetti succitati, ovvero le ruote anonime e la posabilità un po' soffocata, ma di certo sulla mensola fa una bella figura insieme agli altri Decepticon di WfC. ^^
