talking about maze runner and how its not just a stupid teen dystopian series

its a discussion about the disregard for human life and how we as humans are sometimes too prideful to face the consequences of our actions

how we will destroy the planet and then we will destroy ourselves

its about unethical science, government power, global warming, drug problems, history repeating itself, and how no matter how strong your love is for someone, it can’t keep them alive.

its about being a pawn in a world that was destoryed by the generations before you

about being abused at the hands of those who did it and being told its for the better

having all the responsibility of fixing this dying world put on the shoulders of teenagers who don’t even know who they are yet.

they get put into the shoes of scientists, politicians, shoes that don’t fit.

WICKED is good they will say. and we will have to smiled, nod and cross our fingers with hope because there is no one else to help us.

reading the scorch trials rn and GROANING every time i read hermano or muchacho (or any spanish word for that matter) and james dashner's white ass HAS to italicize it. like. you are using the same five words over and over, at least let jorge have a whole sentence in spanish or SOMETHING instead of him saying one word at the end of every sentence,,, please god,,,, i am miserable !!! something that also bugged me was as SOON as thomas and the gladers meet brenda, she kisses thomas on the cheek and flirts with him... she just got introduced, maybe let me learn about her character before she starts a romantic relationship with a character she doesn't even know 😭😭😭 maybe im reading into too much of this, or maybe its not that serious, but little things like these pmo so badly that i had to set my book down and take a breather, and i wanted to rant about it on here
