Well, damn. I missed that event happening with the petting zoo at Founder’s Day, but I definitely brought Zade by for the animals. Hmm. I’m debating on staying away from the birds. I mean, I have chickens and ducks already on the farm though. Thank you for the suggestions for sure! I’m writing them down now.

Well, I own Whispering Pines Farm and I figured I’d make some use out of some of the space I have. Plus, I think it’d be good business and get the word out about the farm too.

We had a petting zoo area at the Founder’s Day event, and honestly it was a massive hit. Aside from a small incident where a lot of the animals made a break for it, it went off without any sort of hitches. I think it’d be a great idea. We don’t have a typical ranch, so we don’t have a lot of the typical farm animals you’d find on a normal farm. Animal wise, if you really want to do it then I’d suggest animals that are good around kids. Goats, rabbits, sheep, guinea pigs, etc. Hell, even pigs could work. We had goats, chickens, ducks, and calves at our set up. Miniature horses or miniature donkeys if you have them would be a hit too. Alpacas or llamas. Exotic animals could be interesting but the normal ones work well too, ha.

What brought on the idea? I know it’s not every day someone thinks about opening a petting zoo.

Look, maybe I am not looking in the right places, but can we talk about how shady the Fenton's "parenting style" must look to everyone else in Amity? Maybe not cannonically, but the fandom really needs to start thinking about it.

We should talk about how easily it is to confuse vigilantism with abuse.

I want Danny with unexplained bruises every other day and the A listers assuming the worst.

I want Mr Lancer seeing Danny start struggling with school for, apparently, no reason and see him sleep on class and realize those are signs of abuse.

I want people to see how protective Sam and Tucker are and realize there's something they are protecting him from.

I need Valerie to see Danny run off at any sign of ghosts and suddenly "oh Fenton doesn't look scared of ghosts" and it clicks in her mind that maybe he's running from his parents.

I want people to see Danny do uncanny things, or have too much pain tolerance, or brush off whatever Dash came up with today and think "huh, that doesn't sound right"

I want the metaphor for child abuse in the show to become a little bit more real in the narrative. Is that too much to ask? I want them hearing the horror stories of the Fenton's cooking and start putting together that "oh, maybe they don't actually... mind experimenting on themselves" and who's to say the same fate didn't happen to Danny or Jazz?

Who's to say where evil scientists stops and child endangerment starts? And if suddenly, Amity Park has started to make Danny's life a little bit easier by making the Fenton's life harder, well, correlation and causation are one hell of a drug.

It sounds like you're really going through the wringer, Jasmine. I'm glad to hear you have your family and some colleagues backing you up, but I can imagine how isolating it must feel to have the hospital turn its back on you. The ranch sounds like the perfect place to find some peace, though. And thanks, I appreciate your offer too. Work can definitely get intense, so it's nice to know I've got someone to talk to if I need it. And if you ever need a riding buddy or just someone to share the quiet with out on the trails, let me know. Sometimes just being around someone who gets it can make all the difference.

Some of the nurses give me updates on some of my cases, but that's about as close to medicine as I can practice right now. Which really sucks. Logically, I know that I'm not alone in this. I've got my family behind me, I've got a few nurses on my side, friends and stuff. But I never imagined the hospital would just completely screw me over like this. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I thought they'd take my side. The ranch has always been my solace; it's the one place large enough for me to hide away from everyone if I wanted to. Thank you, I really do appreciate that. And undoubtedly I will take advantage of that, but that offer goes both ways. I know your work isn't exactly calm or anything like that, so if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here too. Most of the time, if I'm not at my cottage you can usually find me on my horse out on the trails somewhere.

Yeah, I think I realized that after she dropped the 'no pressure' a few too many times. Hey, that's totally fair. Honestly, there's a pretty high chance that I'm just getting way too into my head about it because it's just like you said for me, too. Maybe not the going to a bar part since I don't really go to bars a lot, but I'd definitely rather just meet someone out and about and have it be natural, too.

Oh, I would never trust those 'no pressure' lines. They always mean plenty of pressure. My grandparents do that to me all the time. They always mean the first half and then use the second to make themselves seem less pushy when they're really just going 'gimme grandkids now'. When it comes to dating apps, I can't say that I'm going to be much help. I don't use them really. I tend to just go to a bar and meet who I meet. If I get desperate, I might look into some sort of matchmaking service, but luckily I haven't reached that point yet.

Dc x Dp Blurb #3

It's late, I'm tired and on my phone so it's weird writing here but I must share this one instantly.

So, I saw a Trans Danny AND Trans Jazz thing earlier and I lost it. The idea that they both are is so good to me, and I have so much angst for it.

Just, neither of their parents even REMEMBER that they're trans. Like Danny's their son, Jazz is their daughter....but only because they know they have one daughter one son and clearly that was correct, not because they remember they're both trans. Acceptance through negligence basically.

Also side note but totally an au where the kids at school know and are like "Hell yeah you go!" About the trans stuff. Dash will push Danny into a locker but if he hears someone deadname his nerd friend he's taking a note from the ghosts and breaking shit.

Now the crossover aspect that's been invading my brain. Danny is visiting Gotham temporarily for something and is just like not hiding that he's trans, he's got a lol pin of the flag on his bag. Class trip with the Fentons being some of the supervisors, they came along to see if Batman was a ghost, and Danny us just very tired at this point. He's king of the realms, come to a midpoint with his 'rogues' after realizing it was more a ghost thing than a hate thing for 99% of them, and finally become friends with most of his class even if Dash still liked to mess with him.

Walking through the museum they're touring with Lancer, and a class from the local high school, Danny ends up near the edge of his classmates group next to the other school group. They're not avoiding one another but also not really talking, but this one kid just goes, "nice flag pin," before showing off the bisexual and polyamorous ones they have.

It's Tim. Because he saw the flag and went :O friend time. And also no one he talked to was with the group he was in, so he'd rather talk to this stranger who probably won't treat him differently since he doesn't know him.

The two talk as they are going, some of the other Casper high students chiming in since hey if a kid is nice to their weirdest classmate they're pretty okay in the books. (50/50 if the class know Danny is Phantom but they totally know he's different from all the osha violations in his house and most of them are so worried after really paying attention after they became friends).

Randomly Jack and Maddie come out of nowhere and grab Danny talking about something to do with ghosts, much to the apparent tiredness and even slight distaste on their kid's face, which they didn't even notice. Tim is unsure what is happening but seeing the dislike on the whole class's faces and some worried looks Danny got he's now wanting to go all detective on him because hey Danny's fun to talk to! Totally not because he's very very gay-

So after they leave, he causally tries to learn more about the two and why the class seemed to hate them, even why Danny himself didn't seem to want to be anywhere near his parents. Of course he tries to be subtle.

"So you're parents seem pretty accepting of you being trans, that's good!"

Maybe not so subtle, in his defense, he hasn't slept recently. Danny tried to smile at it though but completely failed, just giving up and slouching as he shrugged.

"More like they don't even remember."

So now Tim is concerned and confused, but much to his luck, the tour is over and the Casper students are leaving. He's worried about his new friend, even if they exchanged numbers, so he goes down a rabbit hole. Not only does he find suspicious stuff about this small town that was heavily deleted from many things, but he finds that Danny has a sibling. It's evident to him they're also trans from the few pictures before and after but the sibling's name isn't anywhere to be seen so he tries to dig deeper.

He pauses before going further down though to respond to some of Danny's messages. But his sleep deprived brain decided 'let's just ask'. So he asks a bit of questions about Danny. Like what's his town like? Any other family? Are they fine with you being trans, because he'll totally beat anyone who's not, etc. Danny answers them and in turn asks about the Waynes, mainly because Danny is not entirely convinced Bruce himself isn't weird like Vlad, but he does acknowledge that he's at least not evil.

Eventually Danny offhandedly mentions Jazz is trans to, and Tim being the detective he is is like "huh..." and asks if his parents were accepting of Jazz too. It's a while before he responds but Danny just says;

"They don't remember we are trans...so no problems or anything with it..."

Tim doesn't get the chance to say anything about it as Danny asks about something about him being poly and what his dad and siblings thought. Of course he replied but his mind was also reeling from the fact that Danny's parents literally don't pay attention to their kids enough to not realize both kids are trans.

They keep in touch and Tim puts investigating on the back burner some since while kinds neglectful they seem to be decent enough parents.

He regrets that though as Danny doesn't message him for nearly a month. It worries him enough to put that investigation back to the forefront. Of course he finds osha violation city in the Fenton's house, as well as the actual paranormal activity happening. What concerns him the most is that apparently the town hero, a ghost boy, is missing...from around the same time Danny stopped messaging.

It's a week into trying to find Danny that he gets a message from his number, except it's not Danny. It's Jazz. She asks Tim if Danny had gone to him, she was trying everyone since no one knew where he was. This sparks a big ol search.

Danny meanwhile ended up with a hero (any but Clark or Bats cuz we want some rarer family dynamic, the good juice) after crash landing, most literally, right by em. The hero, I'm thinking Hal or Barry idk, is too busy trying to help this random powerful teenager who was bleeding way too too much to not have some regeneration ability.

After some drama of trying to find Danny, and Jazz, Tucker, Sam, and Tim knowing identities(Danny's included) because Tucker accidentally hacked around and found out, hero parent of Danny shows up with said boy closely in tow to a meeting after their surprise break from league work and Tim just jumps up and doesn't even remember that Danny doesn't know his identity.

Danny panics initially but quickly realizes it's Tim and finally gets back in contact with Jazz and all of his friends/classmates who had most definitely stormed a GIW lab in his absence. The league is confused and it's a whole mess before Danny trauma dumps on em and Tim as RR just admits this all started because he saw the trans pin.

My brain is rambling too much for this now, but basically lotta trauma, the league appalled and Danny getting a good family after everything is settled. His classmates so visit him and Tim, Kon, and him date because I feel like Danny would meet him, learn he's a clone (after being very gay for a moment) and just be like "heck yeah, my younger sister is a clone" which also caused more panic but like gay trio.

I was rewatching some mlp episodes for fun and then a thought came to my mind: fairly odd parents a new wish x my little pony 😞 (a lot of the yaps on my page are going to be crossovers sorry I adore them)

So dev is basically twilight! He studies at the canterlot school for gifted unicorns. Now Celestia sees how alone he is and he usually to keeps to himself. She sends a letter to twilight and is like “I got you a new student :3333” and dev becomes twilight’s student. He’s very good at magic and stuff but SUCKS at friendship. He always has his nose in a book to either learn about magic more or business like his dad. Twilight sends him to the school of friendship where he meets Pegasus Hazel, unicorn Jasmine, Earth pony Winn! They try to befriend him but he’s having none of that!! Nope!! Friendship is lame!! I just think it would be really funny to see the whole mane 6 + maybe the princesses + starlight trying to get this kid some friends but no matter what they do bro doesn’t care 😭 like they try every friendship lesson in the book and he still fails ☹️

I like to think Luna sometimes visits him in his dreams to talk to him because they can somehow relate you know?

It would be so funny if he became the next twilight 😭😭

I have no idea if Cosmo, Wanda, and Peri exist in this au but I don’t really think it would change the story if they did 🤷‍♀️ so you can imagine them in there if you want!!

Oh yeah, I'm not sure I would be interested in watching that at all. Were any of the original cast members in it, cameos or anything? Yeah, the new movie is just a film version of the musical, which I think it's great when they do stuff like that. Makes it easier for those that wanted to see the musical version but never had a chance to, get a second chance to check it out. I mean, granted stage to film is different in that, you can do a lot more with a movie and stage there's a lot more work in terms of set changes it's a different atmosphere. But yeah, I don't think of it as a remake in the same way that they remade those other movies. Definitely, a few already have talked about what they want to do next year, I think most of the newer kids got a rush being on stage in front of a live audience for the first time. I hope you were able to make it to one of the two nights of shows!

I heard about it by chance at the hospital one day; one of the kids was watching it, and apparently they did it similar to the original but in reverse with the guy being the "ugly" one. If it's more like a continuation, then that's not too bad. I haven't seen the Mean Girls musical yet, but I know the musicals are usually a little bit different than the movies and stuff. If the new Mean Girls is based off of the musical instead of the original movie, then I'm not quite so against watching it. And you know I'll be in the front row for your stage production, 100%. I'm so mad at the fact that they remade Footloose; it was so much worse than the original. I didn't know they made a remake of Dirty Dancing, but I know about the Road House remake and I am protesting. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Death Becomes Her, but even then I'm like 'you're never going to do better than Bruce Willis, Meryl Streep, and Goldie Hawn'. I'm glad that you've got kids already excited to come back next year! That's great! We need another new generation of kids who appreciate and love the arts.
