Jumin + “I still can’t believe that you’re right next to me”

Familiar faces blur into a featureless mess as Jumin spins you around, your white dress billowing out. His hand rests on the small of your back, his gentle, yet firm touch carrying his promise to be your strength, in sickness and in health. Vaguely aware of the slow music that fills the air, you let your feet glide along the floor almost on their own, moving to the rhythm of two hearts beating together, now and forever.

Till death do you part.

You glance up toward your left hand. Delicate fingers rest atop Jumin’s shoulder, ever so slightly sliding up and down the smooth fabric of his suit. As they do, the ring on your finger twinkles as if with the joy and happiness twirling like thread around the people in the room.

With a smile, you bury your face in your husband’s chest, breathing in his familiar scent. He’s always smelled of sunshine and peace, an ambiguous blend hidden underneath a layer of expensive perfume, but it’s only now you can put a name to it. He smells like home.

“Are you feeling okay, love?” Jumin’s breath is warm on your ear, his voice - a gentle whisper.

As much as you want to tell him you have never felt better, words fail you. Silence invades the space between you two, but in that soundless void your feelings are the clearest. 

With a deep sigh, you prop your chin on Jumin’s chest and glance up towards his face. His mouth is curved into a soft smile, his gaze - adoring. You open your mouth in an attempt to speak, but all that comes out of it is another sigh, so you simply nod.

Without releasing you, Jumin spins you around and then locks an arm behind your body, pressing you even tighter against his chest. Despite the excited chatter and loud music, all you can hear is his steady heartbeat. Were it not for it, you would’ve sworn this is nothing but a dream.

“I just…” You shift in his arms so you can look up at him. “I still can’t believe that you’re right next to me.” You run your fingers along his shoulder until they reach his neck, then you cup his cheek. “I can’t believe you are with me.”

Jumin’s eyes widen for a second, then go back to normal as he gives you another one of his dazzling smiles.

“I think I understand how you feel, love.” He leans in toward you, his lips inches away from your ear. “I often find myself wondering if I deserve the blessing that is having you in my life.”

You try to argue that you are the lucky one, but his soft chuckle against your sensitive skin renders you unable to do so, warmth quickly climbing up to your neck and cheeks. As if sensing your struggle, Jumin doesn’t hesitate to tease you more by pressing his lips to your neck in a lingering kiss.

“You don’t have to worry about anything, love.” Before you have any time to react, you feel his hot breath on your ear yet again. “We have forever ahead of us.”

“You aren’t asleep yet?” When you turned on the bed, you found Jumin standing by the bedside, still dressed in his work attire, minus the jacket, which he discarded earlier in the night.

“Nope, not yet.”

“It’s late, almost midnight. Aren’t you getting tired?” He turned, heading for the closet. You watched as he unbuttoned his shirt and slid it off his body, facing away from you. For a moment, you forgot to respond, just taking in his figure. How had you gotten so lucky to be able to call him yours?

“MC?” You jumped slightly when he turned to face you, eyebrows raised.

“Oh, sorry, I was off in thought. No, I’m not tired yet.”

“Hm. I wonder why. Is your sleep pattern becoming irregular?”

“No, I’m just not sleepy yet.” He slid his pajama top on and grabbed his bottoms as he responded to you.

“Love, sleep is important. You should try to sleep.”

As a joke, you responded, “Sleep is for the weak.” He chuckled, taking off his pants and replacing them with his pajama bottoms before making his way over to the bed, where you were laid out on top of the covers. He sat down on the edge of the mattress and stoked your hair softly.

“Well, you should still sleep. It’s important-”

“I know, it was a joke. I’m actually getting pretty tired.” He shook his head with a chuckle and peeled back the covers, slipping underneath them. You quickly joined him, humming happily when he wrapped his arms securely around your form.

“You are the best mistake I have ever made, did you know that, MC?”

“What?”

“It was supposed to be a romantic comment. Was it not?” You craned your neck to see his face before smiling.

“No, no, it was! Where did you get such a comment?”

“I overheard an employee at the office say that and asked what it meant.” The smile on your face grew as you gave him a peck on the lips.

“Well, thank you. You are the best mistake I have ever made, as well. Good night, Jumin. I love you.���

“I love you, too.”

1 Year of MM

Hey guys! Wow. I can’t believe a year’s gone by so fast! I’ve been having so much fun, writing and chatting with everyone and just geeking out over the Mystic Messenger guys and AHHHHHH ;A; I’ve been wanting to do something for my anniversary, but at the moment, I kind of just want to chill and hang out TwT 

In the past year, I’ve met so many wonderful people through MM and tumblr and zines and I am just so grateful and I feel so blessed! A lot has happened...God, a WHOLE lot! Haha but I’m thankful for everything for it led me here :D Although I’m on a “break”, don’t worry, I’m still writing! Currently working on my Jumin zine piece ;) Please do follow the blog for more announcements!

Since I don’t have anything prepared, I will reblog a few of my works that I really like TwT I like them all but ahaha I don’t want to spam!! I know it seems silly! My anniversary is Sept 20 but lmaooo it’s Sept 21 in my country right now! But yes! I’ll be reblogging the stuff I like all weekend :D And maybe I can post something from my original stuff too! Jumin’s learned to appreciate all seasons, but autumn has a special place in his life.

It’s when the leaves change colors that he takes the time to sit down and think about his life - the things he could have done better, and the things he shouldn’t have gone all out for. It’s “out with the old, in with the new”. It’s renewal.

Quite a big fan of autumn fashion.

Stylish trench coats, usually in black or beige, plus a matching scarf are his go-to for the chilly days of autumn.

Loves when you two wear matching outfits during this season!

If he gets a new trench coat for himself, rest assured there’s one for you in the same color. There’s something about matching outfits with you that makes his heart flutter and his smile grow wider.

Plus, he can never get enough of how adorable and absolutely stunning you look with a scarf around your neck.

Why did I choose my URL: Well that's tricky I used to write (in my mother language-->Latin Spanish) and my pseudonym was/is(?) TeNsHiALiCe [the origin of that is that my friends like to say that I'm like a little angel->tenshi. The other part is because I always like Alice in Wonderland and being an INFP I have so much similarities with cats or neko -in @themirrorworldseries explains why- sooo...thats it!]
