DarkSword Miniatures Dragonkin Sorcerer, because not all lizard people are male. I'm always looking for different pieces for my scaly horde and I'm not confining my search to just GW's works. Dark Sword Miniatures have a great number of really intersting and finely sculpted pieces. My one problem with this mini though is that the metal staff is really soft and thin and I'm concerned that it will eventually break off just above the hand. Otherwise I'm really happy with this cheeky babe. :)

Here is my repainted elf! A @darkswordminiatures Forest Elf Goddess painted to be my #darkelf OC, probably my favorite of all my characters, which is why I have painted her so much 😂 one day I need to get off my lazy butt and write her story and about her culture watch I worked way too hard developing. Anyway, I gave her a new stick (which matches another miniature I have of her) and sculpted the drape which I painted to look like my favorite iridescent sari using layering of regular paints and blended acrylic medium and mica pigments. Nerissa dazzles at the cabaret with her singing and dancing but there few know understand her true nature. She is a summoner, a witch of reasonable power and tentative control. Finished, The Lovers by @darkswordminiatures pretty heavily altered from the original with a completely free hand sculpted base. It represents a royal wedding and the end of the first 'arc' of an RPG that Ben and I played for years, so it's got a lot of meaning to me. Decided to switch things up with a D&D mini. Most of my hobby time in the past few months has been spent making cool conversions for the 40K Slow Grow. So it was good to paint up something that wasn't grimdark. This is Baridl, the chaotic neutral drow wizard, the only drow to ever be kicked out of the Underdark, and my first D&D character. He's an illusionist and fast talker who wanders the world as a street performer with his spider familiar Charlotte. Unlike most renegade drow he actually wants to go back to the Underdark, but they don't want him. He's not serious and brooding enough. I made him all the way back when 4th edition was just released. And I've played some variant on the concept in a few games since. Think I might try and find a 5th edition game and play again. The mini itself is from @darkswordminiatures , who make really detailed traditional fantasy minis. I made a few modifications, but other than that it's their sculpt. Oh, and I used still water again for the base.
